Meanwhile with team RWBY: ASSN, and JNPR are wishing them luck. Aiden and Ruby nod to each other, "Put our sparring sessions to good use, Ruby. I know you can do it; you and your team." Aiden says with a smirk to Ruby.
She nods to him. "Watch us kick butt again!"
Weiss walks with confidence, Blake walks next to her with determination, and Yang would walk with excitement.
Aiden would smile at Blake and nod, and would come up and boldly give her a kiss on the cheek in front of her teammates,
"Dominate out there. I'll be cheering you on." Aiden says, before motioning his head to his team, "C'mon boys, let's get some good seats." He says, as they follow, Sun smirking, as Blake is just left speechless and blushing right on the spot from such a sudden act from Aiden, but she wasn't aware she was blushing.
Ruby would hear the crowd cheering them and then flips her scythe. "Let's go!"
Cinder would smirk, thinking their confidence is cute. Mercury, Emerald, and Neo in disguise think so too as the arena turned into part jungle and part steaming rock plain.
Nightmaratack would be eagerly watching the screen, smiling, ready to send his little toy in. They scatter as Ruby shoots her sniper gun with Weiss backing her up, with Emerald shooting at Ruby and Weiss, then dives down for cover on the rocky plains. Mercury and Yang clash, with Blake dodging Neo's strikes with Cinder following to the forest. Aiden watches with anticipation, looking at every member. as they fight.
Blake would swing around the forest as Neo and Cinder chased her around. As skilled as those two are, Blake could tell, the black clad cat faunus knows how to maneuver around the forest. As she hides, she would develop a plan. Cinder and Neo look around. "Hmph. Childs play. Find her. Don't get too carried away." She leaves as her silent partner to take Blake personally. Neo looks around. She would disguise herself as Blake's teammate, but seeing how she could be anywhere, she can't risk being found out easily. Just then Blake jumps in to attack. Neo kicks her, only to see it disappear, revealing a clone. Blake would throw more clones to attack Neo, as she skillfully kicks all of them. Blake grits in frustration as she throws fire made clones, which startles Neo enough for her to back flip away and get away from her. As she jumps back, Blake sneaks from behind and kicks her towards the flaming shadow and gets blown away from it.
Aiden pumps his fist in the air, "YEAH!" He yelled to himself, as his teammates also cheered RWBY on.
Emerald would clash against Weiss with her tomahawks against her rapier. Just then she felt her feet get frozen, as she turns to see Ruby just shot an ice blast with her sniper gun. This is where Cinder throws two fireballs towards the red and white duo out of the way and thaws her servant out. Ruby and Weiss jumped out of the way and see's its now a two on two. They had a bit of trouble with Emerald before incapacitating her. But Ruby is confident.
Yang and Mercury clashed together and their fast attacks were almost too fast for the audience. Mercury would go for a spin-a-rooney technique with many air pressure projectiles swirling around, hitting Yang. He confidently walks off, thinking he won. Until Yang's flames bursts out the wind and she looks bruised, but she is far from done.
Neo is getting tired of Blake's tactics. She would have an easier time when not holding back, but it would reveal herself, and she knows Blake knows what she looks like. But since they are in a forest, she could show a little bit of her power. So as both combatants go deeper into the forest, it becomes harder for the people to see their fight.
Aiden would wonder what's going on, and would seem suspicious, because he was watching Blake the most. He'd decide he'd need to find a better angle to try to see what is going on.
Blake would look around to see any sign of Neo. Just then, she saw a glimpse of Ruby's scarf. Which has her startled. "Huh? Ruby?" She would follow, but stays cautious.
Blake swings around to a branch to get a better look. Just then she notices Weiss running away.
"What?" She then swings towards her. "Show yourself!" Only to come face to face with herself.
"What?!" Then the smirking imposter then kicks her in the face.
Meanwhile, Cinder would hide behind a rocky hill. She usually doesn't have much trouble like this. But she can't risk blowing her cover. Especially since this girl saw how she fought that time. Luckily Emerald was there to confuse them. Ruby would fire her sniper, but then noticed Emerald and Cinder were out there in the open, shooting at them. She panickily grabs Weiss as she shoots back. But despite hitting them, nothing happens. "Huh?"
"Ruby? What the heck?!" Weiss was annoyed by Ruby just acting strange when they just had them on the ropes.
Weiss then shoots multiple beams out of the glyph she made. She would see Yang in the way, "What?!" She would move it out of the way, but then Yang is gone. Weiss wonders why she just saw Yang for a second there.
"Duck!" A voice, probably the man, in Weiss' head said, and Weiss ducked and avoided an oncoming attack.
Just then, Blake would run in. Ruby would be relieved to see her. They regroup. "Now we've got them!" Seeing now it's a three on two. However, 'Blake' would smirk as she is about to attack Ruby.
"Ruby!" Then another Blake would run in.
This causes the whole crowd to murmur in confusion as they see two Blakes now.
Aiden would also be confused, as he doesn't know what's going on
"That's not me!"
"Don't be ridiculous! I'm Blake!"
Ruby would be super confused. "Whaaawhawhawha?!"
Weiss is just as confused. "What the...? What is going on?!"
Both Blakes just fight each other as the fighting resumes with Cinder and Emerald on the offensive. The crowd is even more into the battle with more excitement.
Cinder starts throwing fire balls all over Ruby as she is being overwhelmed. Weiss is too busy with Emerald. "It's over." Ruby would duck and cover and feel there is nowhere to go. But then she brings out an ice dust ammo. One last one. She clocks it. "Had enough y-" Before she can finish, Ruby takes her shot and the ice bullet would freeze her face, causing her to panic.
"Cinder!" Emerald panics in sight of this, giving Weiss the chance to kick her face. Then freezes Cinder's feet.
The battle of the Blakes continues with one of them flipping towards one of the steaming rocks and then a geyser implodes, sending one of the Blakes airborne. Weiss would walk over Blake, assuming her Blake won. That was until 'Blake' grabs Weiss's arm and slams her down hard. The Blake imposter smirks, knowing she has her. Until time slows down as Blake dashes down with her intense speed, slashing her imposter that her life gauge is completely empty, as she falls on her face, knocked out. Blake would still feel damaged from the geyser though. Which Weiss helps her up.
Cinder would heat her frozen face first and would notice that her team is falling apart. She would hope things would go well for Mercury, until she sees him get flung over her and knocked down to the ground for everyone to see. The people cheer loudly seeing Team RWBY getting the upper hand.
Meanwhile, Nightmaratack's words echo in Cinder's mind... She knew what would happen if she failed, and she knew she had to end things now.
She grits, showing rage. This humiliation is not worth it at all. She would then flare up with fire.
Ruby would turn around in confusion. "Huh?"
Cinder is now letting loose her hidden power. "How dare you…"
She then charges up a flaming fireball that is much bigger than her other ones.
She fires her fireball, and it would hit Blake instead of Ruby. Aiden, seeing this, would go wide eyed, and time seemed to slow down in that moment.
Everyone would gasp, seeing this fireball seriously burn her. She yelps in pain as Ruby gasps in fear. "BLAKE!" Weiss also panics as she scrambles to her side. In Aiden's point of view, Blakes burnt body resembled how Ruby's was burnt back from that night.
Aiden clenched his teeth, as his eyes turned into a purple hue... But this time, more intense, as the veins in his body turn black. His team saw this, and felt the immense dark aura, worse than they ever imagined, as Aiden instantly jumped into the air, into the field, running at blinding speeds. He'd then charge at Cinder, and she would block at the last second, as Aiden had pulled his sword out, also imbued with the same dark energy, as he grits his teeth. When Cinder saw his eyes, she could feel his fury, and could feel his power coming off of him, similar to Nightmaratack. Aiden would charge again, moving at fast speeds, as he flips and weaves through Cinder's attacks with ease, Aiden would then back away, them hold his hand down below, and would raise it to summon large tendrils to attack his foe, and make attempts at Cinder's life. Aiden would then yell out and fight with brute force, using everything he had, and he was slowly overwhelming Cinder. She weaved and dodged, impressed by his might and power. He'd then fire multiple shots, each creating explosions which Cinder avoids narrowly. Aiden would charge once more, as Cinder had to use more of her hidden power to defend. She looks around as they fight, smiling as she feels the rising negative energy of the crowds, as Aiden displayed his dark power recklessly.
Ruby would cry out, "Aiden, no! Please calm down!" Everyone was shocked by this sudden development, but Ruby snaps out of it to make sure her friend doesn't become a murderer.
Aiden would see Ruby, and stare at her, and was about to react, but his gaze suddenly softened, and he looked around and saw that the forest area they were in was being destroyed by his power. He begins to breathe heavily, as he looks down to see Cinder... Who seemed to smirk.
"What have I done..." Aiden says, looking at his hands, "I'm... I'm a..." He clenched his fists, and he ran off quickly, out of the stadium, out of the eyes of the people... Out of the line of sight of his team and RWBY. Everyone was murmuring, and was very afraid at the current transpiring events. Negative emotions filled the stadium... Anger. Fear. Hatred. Anger that a student of Beacon would be so savage to attack someone who seemed to have made an accident, fearful because of the raw power this individual had, And hatred for the one who was different, whose power seemed to match that of the altered Grimm. Cinder looked around and observed.
"It seems to be working… Hmph. I could have done a much more dramatic time like in the finals. This is just too early." She whispers to herself. She is proud of what she brought regardless.
Yang was confused about what happened. "Okay, what just happened?"
Weiss had a bad feeling. "Aiden...?" She barely called him by name. Now she's just too worried to worry about anything petty.
JNPR and the others of ASSN would jump down and meet with RWBY, as the stadium began getting more restless.
Ren asks first. "Is he… Alright?" Talking about Aiden.
Yang shrugs. "That's what we're trying to figure out."
Blake would sit up despite the pain. "Aiden? What happened?"
"Careful, Blake!" Ruby tries to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.
"Aiden totally flipped and went berserk on that girl who burned you…" Sun said.
Ruby would then remember how Aiden was when she was burned, and was recovering. She would feel partly responsible for his trauma. "Aiden… I..."
Yang would turn to the others. "What are we waiting for?! We've got to find him!" They all nod. Including Blake. Even if she's hurting, she can't rest knowing he's still out there alone.
Jaune would be startled. "Wait, what about the tournament?!"
Ruby just runs off while Blake follows. Weiss would stop to reply to him. "Well today's your lucky day, Jaune Arc. Win for us. Or you'll get an earful from me!" She rushes off.
Yang would wink. "Good luck guys!" She runs off.
Sun, Scarlet, and Neptune also runs off. "We're coming Aiden!"
Nightmaratack smiles at the screen, as they went to commercial, "Everything is according to plan... Olmotack" Olmotack, in reply, would be at attention, albeit cloaked, "Grab the troops... And move out." With a slight bow, Olmotack silently follows, going outside, as outside, droves of mind controlled, enhanced White Fang are positioned in attention, as Olmotack relays orders, his expression and tone remaining neutral.
They'd then move out towards Beacon.
Roman sees them set off. "Play nice kids!" He laughs.
Aiden is running through a forest, tears streaming down his sweaty face, his eyes still glowing a faint purple, and his veins still that black color. He would flashback to when Ruby was hurt badly, and he feared he'd lose her... He remembered the pain he felt. He remembered thinking if he would lose another person he cared for... He used the exact same power as that demon... That demon. He's always been a pain in his ass. He always felt him at the corner of his mind, laughing at him, and trying to consume him. He denied that part of him, refused to give in... But this time... This time it won. He felt that he was putting them all in danger... That it was only a matter of time when he'd do something horrible. Blake... Ruby... What would they think now of this monster? He couldn't think about that. Right now he wanted to run. To run far away... That is, until his legs started to give out, and he stumbled to the ground, rolling. He looked around to see he was on that exact hill Blake and him shared their first kiss. He breathed heavily, as he faced the sky. He thought about the Lord... What would He think? All Aiden could do was just lay there and wonder...
As RWBY and SSN had split up to find Aiden, Blake had taken the forest route, while the others would look at other parts of the area. They had tried multiple times to call Aiden's scroll, but he never picked up. It's been hours now, and the search continues.
They are all shouting his name. Blake would be alone through the forest, still shouting his name. "Aiden?! Please come back!"
As Blake was calling for Aiden again, she'd think of places where he could be... She still felt out of it after being hurt, but she couldn't let Aiden go. The only thought that raced through her mind was Aiden. She remembered his smile, the way he talked so calmly to her... How he was gentle, kind. How he cared for his friends so much- how he cared for her so much. She'd remember back to the first big conversation they had at that café when she revealed herself to Aiden. Aiden had laughed hard at that time, confusing Blake,
"That was what you were hiding?" Aiden started with a grin, "I dare say, you do look much more beautiful without the bow.", this comment made her blush at that moment... She remembered listening to his own story... How alone he was... How he felt that everyone he cared for was drifting away from him... And that time with Ruby... She could feel the sadness and worry leaking from him. She knew he needed her, more than ever. Then she remembered the hill they shared their first kiss. She would quickly rush there, praying her instincts is right.
When she got there, she breathed a sigh, as she saw Aiden just lying down. By then, Aiden's eyes and veins returned to normal, and he was just looking at the sky. Blake would slowly approach Aiden, and Aiden would her her footsteps, and would recoil back
"S-stay away, Blake!" Aiden says, backing away, putting a hand in front of him.
"Aiden..." She slowly walks towards him. "I'm not gonna hurt you..." Trying to calm him.
"W-Well I don't wanna hurt you!" Aiden says, backing away more.
She would raise her hand up to calm him. "I know you won't. I know it."
He'd start to tear up again, "I'm... I'm a monster..." He says as he covers his face, "I'm just like him..." Aiden says. Blake would remember what he said about him being a vessel.
"You only wanted to protect me… Does that sound like a monster?" Continuing to walk slowly.
"B-but... I could have hurt people... I have his power... I couldn't control it." He says, looking defeated, stopping in his tracks when he backed into a tree.
She finally reaches him and grabs his hand gently. "I know you. You're the gentlest person I know. I wouldn't believe you if I didn't know what kind of person you are." Her tone is soft and caring.
"Blake... I'm... I'm scared..." He says, being honest and fully breaking down. Looking at Aiden, he is suffering so much, from everything... It broke her heart at that moment. And with him suffering from that demon... That thing being a part of him... She may not understand fully the extent of everything he has told her... But she knows she has to be there for him. They embrace, Aiden and Blake holding each other.
There is a hint of fear inside, but what she is most afraid of is Aiden being hurt because of her. She can't abandon him knowing he is gonna hurt himself. So she stays, "I am too. But we can get through it if we're together. Right?" She couldn't help but feel like she sounded like Ruby right there.
Aiden nods, tears still in his eyes, and he kisses her. while they are kissing, Blake's Scroll rings, and Ruby is calling.
It'd be left in voice message. "Blake? You there?"
Aiden would break apart after a bit, "You uh... Wanna get that or...?" Aiden asked, as he takes a breath after their passionate kiss
Blake would flinch a bit, and blush in embarrassment. She would just answer her phone. "I found him guys."
"YOU FOUND AIDEN?!" Ruby's voice can be heard muffled over the phone.
Aiden squints, "Man,am I in trouble now..." Aiden bluntly states.
Blake laughs. "Maybe." She said in a joking tone. "It's okay Ruby, we're just on a hill a bit far in the forest."
Yang can be heard now. "Should have known you'd find him first."
"Can we hurry? We wasted our shot at the Vytal Tournament for this!" Weiss now can be heard.
After a walk back to the main path, Sun, Scarlet, and Neptune would come up and give a group bro hug to Aiden, as they had been searching with Blake, but split up.
"Dude, we were worried sick!" Sun would exclaim at first, but he collected himself to seem cool, "But I mean, I knew you'd be fine..." Sun would casually say, making Aiden chuckle
Scarlet and Neptune nods to him. Just then Blake and Aiden hear something off from the distance. "I'm comiiiiiIIIIIIIINNNNG!" Ruby speeds her way through the forest and tackles Aiden with a big hug. Blake watches in bewilderment. She didn't even give her an exact location yet.
"Ruby! So good to see you… Agh… I'd like to breathe though." Aiden said, as Ruby was holding onto him pretty tight.
"No!" Ruby childish said.
Weiss sighs. "Seriously Ruby. Let him go. You're just embarrassing yourself."
Scarlet would speak. "Dude, you really had some wicked power you've been holding back."
Yang replies. "You could have used it to mess up some really big Grimm."
Aiden would look down with a grim look, and Blake would know why. Blake would decide to tell everyone his connection to their new foe, the demon.
"Guys. There is something… You should know about him. He's been trying to protect you all from… Something terrible..."
This gets everyone on edge. Weiss speaks up. "More than the Grimm?" Blake would timidly nods.
Aiden would just remain silent, as Ruby would look up at him, as he looked away. Ruby was searching Aiden's eyes and could see the sadness emanating
She would get close to him. "Hey." He turns back to her face. "It's okay. We're here. Everything's going to be alright."
Aiden would look down and sigh, before explaining that he and the demon, Nightmaratack are linked, that he is his "vessel", his "other half". He would exclaim that it was a long story about his family and original home, and would further explain that he's not from this world. God had given him the mission of protecting the alternate universes and timelines from the likes of Nightmaratack, who wishes to eradicate all life. Aiden felt ashamed for being linked to Nightmaratack, and always looked down on himself, and suffered from nightmares, seeing the horrible things Nightmaratack has done, and torments him.
This gets everyone silent and baffled. With Blake merely shrugging to them.
Ruby would be the first to speak. "So… That's a lot to take in…" Aiden would sigh in response.
Weiss would stammer a bit. "Okay… Not sure where to start with… All of this…"
Blake then states. "He has huge responsibilities guys."
"Yeah… Olmotack too is like me, from another world I mean, and he and I are like brothers… I don't know what happened to him after he ran out… I'm a bit worried about him as well."
Sun would pat his back. "Well you got us to help you now. The more the merrier right?" Everyone else would nod to this.
Aiden smiled and looked at his friends- no… His family. "Yeah… I suppose you are right. Let's go back to the tournament and cheer JNPR on." Aiden says with a smirk. "Sorry about the scare, guys... And sorry I flipped like that."
Neptune would wrap his arm around him. "Hey! No biggy. We're your team."
"No..." Aiden said, looking around at them, "You're my family." Aiden states, smiling warmly, touching everyone's hearts.
Sun would grab all of his teammates with both arms. "Heh heh! You're too much, man!"
Neptune and Scarlet would chuckle at this.
Aiden would chuckle as well, "Hey, gotta keep my mates on their toes." He says, smirking and laughing. Ruby would then receive a call on her Scroll. When she picks up, she can hear chaos, and Jaune speaks,
"Ruby! You guys need to come here, quick! A masked wolf man, and a bunch of these White Fang are causing havoc! And-And this Cinder girl-" He'd duck an attack, as the call starts to buffer, "Just get over here, please! Pyrhha she- Oh no!" He says as the call abruptly ends, as an explosion is heard.
Ruby gasps, her body frozen in shock. Weiss would snap her out of it. "Ruby? Ruby what happened?!"
Ruby then runs off. "Follow me!"
"Wait! Ruby!" Weiss can tell Ruby is going top speed. So she uses her glyphs to keep up. Yang and Blake would be startled as they follow.
Sun would be confused. "Uh… What?"
Aiden would speak, "We'll know when we get there. C'mon!" Aiden says as he speedily follows Ruby and her team.
The group rushes in to find out what just happened. As they approach the stadium, they find many dark Grimm roaming around, and they growl and go on the attack. RWBY and ASSN charge forwards together.
Meanwhile, Nightmaratack looks from below, atop the stadium, with Roman and Neo at his stead.
"We have all the cards in our favor... The scales have been tipped. And all we must do now, is wait and see." He says, looking at Olmotack, as he fended off many of the hunters almost with ease. Civilians scramble to escape the carnage, as the barriers begin to rupture, and outside, more dark grimm were gathering to cause more death and chaos. "You two have done well to take in Olmotack... So I shall trust you with this task..." He turns to Neo and Roman, "Bring in the one named 'Aiden Green', and ensure he is unharmed... And if you do kill him..." He shows a sinister smile, "Then you can join him in a slow, more painful way... Am I clear?" Nightmaratack says, as an explosion creates a small gust of wind that made his cloak flutter.
Roman would raise his hands. As calm as he looks, there is some worry about that threat, and he masterfully masks this. "Hey now! Who do you think I am? You'll find out you chose smart when you partner with good ol' Roman. Neo! Let's get to work!" He walks to Beacon under siege, with Neo eagerly following him.
Nightmaratack looks down, "You cannot evade your destiny, Aiden Green... I. Will. Win." He says as he cackles. Meanwhile with Cinder, she would walk over the destroyed room that used to be Ozpin's. She just defeated him and took the full power of the Fall Maiden. She then notices the mighty Grimm dragon emerge from a mountain. Just then she senses someone approaching her. Then Pyrrha pops out of the elevator using her magnetic semblance. She goes on the defensive stance. She knows she is outmatched. But she will fight regardless.
The young warrior knows she doesn't stand too much of a chance at beating Cinder... Luckily, Cinder was arrogant, which gives the young hero her chance to use all of her skills and power to knock the villain off her feet and restrain her. Although the false maiden decides to bring in help in the form of the beast in wings. The dragon crashes through the roof of the tower, breaking hold of her, and downed the Huntress. But she wasn't done yet. She decides to go all out on her powers. She was told of her great potential, and uses as much as she could, hitting her with the large clocks in Ozpins room, and burying her with them. Only to be blown away, with the false maiden deciding to show more of her power out of desperation.
Seeing her raising her power, the young Huntress quickly grabs her shield, and throws it as hard as she could. The villainess would merely create a bow and arrow and shoot towards the shield. As strong as the shield is when it comes to mass, the glass arrow disassembles itself past the shield and reassembles itself and freely hits the young heroine's knee. She lets out a cry in pain as she falls on her knee. She winces in pain, unable to get up. She knows deep down, she can't fight any longer.
Cinder smiles, relishing in her apparent victory, "It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours." She said as she kneels down and lifts Pyrrha's chin, "But take comfort in knowing that I will use it in ways you could never have imagined."
Pyrrha pulls away, sitting up and matching Cinder's stare, "Do you believe in destiny?" Pyrhha asked.
"Yes," Cinder replied, narrowing her eyes.
Cinder stands back up and forms an obsidian bow and arrow again. She pulls back the arrow, lowering the bow to aim at her weakened opponent. She fires, but then, in that split second, a portal had opened, and instantly yanked Pyrrha in, the arrow striking where Pyrrha once was. Cinder stared in shock, as this was unexpected.

"Cinder Fall..." A man's voice said, as he stepped through slowly into her realm. He donned a dark blue-gray overcoat with silver shoulder pads, laced with silver chains. Underneath, he wore a gray collared shirt, with dark pants, and black loafers. A silver cross necklace was around his neck. In his hand, a cane that had a handle on it of some sorts. He carried the cane with his left, and stood tall. When Cinder viewed his face, his hair was slicked back, with white highlights. His eyes radiating a blue tint. His aura alone radiated power that rivaled even Cinder's, as she stood there, dumbfounded by what was happening. The man narrowed his eyes at Cinder, before holding his cane up, and with his thumb, popped up his cane, revealing it to be a sword, "I have come... For your life." The man said, as the portal behind him closed.
"W-Who the hell are you?!" Cinder stated, as he got closer, and stopped.
"I am but a mere spectator... Who decided to jump in… And you seem to be in my way…" He says, getting into a fighting position, his hand over his blade handle, "Now... Prepare..." Then he lunged, "TO DIIIIIE!"
With that, he unleashed a flurry of hits that Cinder struggled to counter at first, and she was sent back, and was on the ground for a moment, still able to fight, but was not used to such power, as the man brought his blade close to his face, turning it suddenly, before flicking it to his side, and Cinder saw that the room they were in started to crumble and rise slowly into the air, and Ruby, who was climbing up, was shocked to see it rising, and knew she had to go back down. On the arena, blue fire lined the edges, as if to mark the borders. Cinder, clenching her fists, would not be fazed any longer, and would go on the attack, as she wouldn't let this new opponent take her out.
She would float up and in an act of intimidation, creating dark clouds of lightning to strike him down. He would merely take it, and shoot his own as his body was filled with yellow lightning, now turned blue. She panics and dodges. The angered false maiden would summon multiple swords and would dash towards him, with 8 swords under her control. She would begin to try and slash at him in all directions. Which he would block all of them. Until he extends his arms, and bursts out with sparking energy to obliterate her blades. She slides back, with her feet creating a flaming trail. Which she uses to create more glass blades and throws them into tiny shards, which he swipes them all. He begins to show more power in his steps and throws flaming slashes to reach her, which she jumps out of the way.
Below the fight, everyone of Beacon was driving back the beasts, as the others of RWBY would look up to see the rising large platform, and could see flashes of blue and red, and sparks of lightning. As Weiss was observing, she felt a tug at her heart, as she silently knew who it was that was fighting Cinder... It was him.
"Weiss?" Ruby would wonder what is in her friend's mind.
The heiress then walks back. "Come on. The others are gonna need us."
"Really? What about..." She isn't able to finish.
Weiss is sure of herself though. "I'm sure this problem is handled. I just… Have a feeling."
Back with the fight, the man snaps his fingers and pillars of blue fire spew from random locations close to Cinder, as she narrowly escapes, but he bursts through one and grabs Cinder by her face, and violently flings her down to the ground, making her drag, and she flips. They then get into another heated exchange, clashing their blades.
"Hm, your arrogance blinds you..." He then spreads his wings and flies upwards, as strikes of lightning try to strike the false maiden, and she evades, as the man flies around the arena, and after a moment, he charges at her, unsheathing his blade, letting out a flurry of cuts which sent her falling backwards, and sliding back. She then summons her bow and fires rapidly, to which the man dodges each, and when he lands, catches one with his bare hand. He inspects it for a moment, before crushing it. He sighs,
"Come now- I expected more from the false-maiden," The man taunts, angering her, and she would attack once more, summoning blades in her assault, as the man seemed to back away at high speeds, occasionally making a few hits of his own, and kicking her aside. As the fight progressed, Cinder felt fatigue on her body, as the man defended and offended with skills unlike any other she has faced. She knew she had one option she could take, but it could take a lot out of her…
In a desperate attempt to defeat the man, Cinder rises from the ground, gaining a lot of energy, then fires a large barrage blast of fire, as the man stood there, then puts an arm in front of him. A large array of explosions occur, even shaking the ground below where the carnage was occurring, and Cinder falls back down to the platform. She breathes heavily, hoping she killed the man... All seemed quiet at first, until she went wide eyed, as the man slowly walked from the smoke of the blast, and would look unfazed. He dusts off his shoulder, as he faces Cinder,
"Impressive power... Very impressive... But this is where it ends, Cinder Fall." The man says, prepared for another strike. Cinder, in her growing fury, would charge him again, and they would go into a heated swordlock standoff, as in the sky, the clouds parted, as two huge dragons loomed above, each a representation of the fighters. The red one being of Cinders, a dazzling display of power, and wrath, and the other, a beautiful and brilliant blue fox dragon, a display of beauty, and might. They roar at each other and fire their flames at each other at the same time, clashing. The sky is lit up by red and blue. The man and Cinder bounced back from each other after that, and Cinder fought with every ounce of energy she had, the dark Grimm below cowering in fear from such power and light aura being emitted from the man's power, as they are slain one by one. Nightmaratack too, is afflicted, clutching his head, and with Aiden, he too clutched his head, as the power itself was messing with his head, and he narrowly escaped an attack from Roman, who was grinning, that is, until SSN comes along and comes to Aiden's aid.
Back at the fight above,
Cinder cannot expand anymore power, and soon, with one swift strike, the man impales Cinder at her stomach, as she goes wide eyed.
"This ends, now." he says, pulling his blade out, as Cinder went to her knees. The platform lowered to the ground with a thud as she fell onto the ground, coughing up blood, as she could feel her life fading slowly. She'd look at the man, as he stood over her, carrying an uncaring expression, as he'd simply turn his back and walk away after sheathing his blade, leaving Cinder to die, as it was sure she would die. She tried to reach for the man, to do something, but her hand fell limp, and in her final words, she said,
"Ugh… I need more… Power…" She was afraid, but slowly grow angry. Remembering her weak self where she was easily pushed aside many times. She wants power. "I… Want… Power…" But she would then give into death, as death would always be the winning factor… She would lay there, motionless.
Back with ASSN, they fight with Roman and Neo, who would soon see that the platform the big fight was being held on had been lowered, and the strange new foe being the victor. The dark Grimm were being melted away by a blue fire that rained from the sky, and their numbers were dwindling, and many mind controlled White Fang were either killed, or taken into custody. The odds were against Roman and Neo, and despite the threats Nightmaratack said, they knew they had to retreat.
After a moment, the remaining creatures would perk up, and would begin to retreat, Nightmaratack would follow suit, as he experienced something he hasn't felt before… Fear. He had ordered the rest of his small army to retreat, and was entering a ship, and lifted off. But before that, the mind controlled Olmotack had secretly swooped in and scooped Cinder's body up, and brought it onto the ship with them.
Roman would hear this. "No complains from me! Lets blow this popsicle stand!" He follows the small army along with Neo.
The people would cheer as the army was driven back, as the man would approach RWBY, gliding down slowly. They would be stunned to see the man, as he looked a bit older than them, and looked like a figure of authority. Weiss though, would really take in his entire form. He had a nice build, and looked strong and very mature. His warm smile to them though betrayed the aura he was emitting... She would feel her heart pounding as he got closer.
"You must be Ruby, Blake, Yang, and Ms. Weiss Schnee of RWBY." He said, and Weiss recognized his voice anywhere. The man formally extended his hand to shake each of their hands.
Weiss would stutter at the sight of him. "Um… Well… Um… Pleasure is mine… Whoever you are." She would say to keep their first encounter a secret. Although her mind was a bit shaky from his looks.
Yang would step in to ask him, "Hey uh… Do we know you?"
"No... But I know you... It's a very complex thing... Uh... How should I put it... Well I come from a parallel world, and well, I've had my eyes on this one for such a long time, specifically you, RWBY. In my old world, you see, you have your own little show that showcases your feats and skills, and shows each of your personalities... Think of it like reality TV, but different, and your story is relayed by someone else entirely. Confusing, I know. You uh, get how it's complex now?" He asks, with a raised brow, as the team would look at each other with confused glances.
"But where are my manners, you may call me Irad. At your service." He says, slightly bowing respectfully.
They were completely speechless. Ruby's head is nearly smoking from thinking too hard on it. Yang would speak on behalf of the team. "Glad to get to know you… I think…?" She chuckles.
He chuckles, "And to you as well… I dare say, I'm glad I came at the nick of time… Your friend, Pyrrha, was it? Was pretty badly injured. Luckily I was able to pull her out and transported her to the nearest medical facility back in my own world… I assure you, she is safe." He says reassuringly.
Ruby sighs heavily with relief. Blake would smile, "Thanks for helping us."
Irad would nod, as Juane would come over with news that Penny was destroyed fighting against the man in a wolf mask, shocking everyone. Juane would lead them, and they'd see Penny's unmoving body, her arms and legs missing from being cut off by Olmotack. Everyone would gasp in horror, and Ruby would begin to tear up. Irad inspects Penny carefully, before deducing, "Hm… While the mechanics do seem a bit flawed… I can transport her to my best mechanics and repair and maybe even upgrade… Shouldn't be too hard…" He'd look at Penny with narrowed eyes, "Hmm… I'd need a copy of her Blueprints though…" He says as he fiddles with his watch, which displays a holographic screen. Soon he'd seemed to have contacted someone, "Commence operation: Rebuild for Universe R833, and bring me medics, and a mechanic." He said, before ending the call, and looking back at RWBY.
"What are you doing?" Weiss asked curiously. In response, voices were heard outside, all of them in hysterics about foreign and advanced looking ships approaching from portals.
"Ah, right on cue." Irad said, inspecting his watch again, "I'm on a tight schedule… I will ask you all to join me later or so, I have so much to tell you… Here, this should work." He'd swipe up on the holographic screen, and their scrolls dinged, and they found a new number, "Call me if you ever require assistance…" He'd say as he was rushing, "Oh my, so much time, so little to do!" He said, worryingly, then backtracks, "Scratch that, reverse it…" He finishes, before continuing off.
They would see him leave and stand there in awkward silence. Weiss being the first to say, "This was a very odd day..." She said with a groan.
Sun would come over, and inform them about Aiden's status, as Aiden is ok, just feeling a bit lightheaded at the moment
Blake would sigh in relief. With the chaos mostly done, all she wants to do is find him herself.
Aiden was resting with Neptune beside him, and when Aiden saw Blake approaching, he'd tell Neptune to join the others. When Blake sat beside Aiden, he spoke up, "Well well... Today was... Weird." He said, chuckling.
"You can say that again." Blake would say in her usual stoic tone as if the things that just happened didn't happen.
He'd put a hand over hers, "At least we were able to make it out of it though... Right?" He said with a glint in his eyes that made Blake's heart beat faster, and really wanted to make her kiss him at that moment.
She would smile. "I had a really bad feeling before this, and it was because of this moment. I guess it's safe to say that the worst is over, right?"
Aiden would frown, "Not until Nightmaratack and Salem are defeated..." He says solemnly.
She would notice how serious he is from his tone. She merely holds his hand tightly to show she is willing to join him in this perilous fight.
He smiles, and is relieved, knowing he at least has her to keep him afloat. She puts her head on his shoulder, and he leans his head on hers, "I saw a bunch of ships, and heard there's a new guy... What's that about?" he asked as they enjoyed each other's company
She would try to find the proper words for this bizarre encounter they had. "Well… He's helping. That's as far as I can process."
He's silent for a moment, "If he's not from around here, like me... He must be the one Olmotack warned me about... Long ago, Olmotack felt a disturbance in the universal nexum, or whatever fancy word he uh... A-anyways, perhaps this one is the disturbance... Maybe… I'll have to have a word, myself... But if what you say is true though, and you trust him... I will too." Aiden said, putting his faith in Blake.
She nods. "One thing I can say, we need as much help as we can."
