Back with JNPR, Jaune talks to the boy, whose name turns out to be Oscar. "So, some voice in your head has been telling you to get here?"
"Yeah..." The boy said shamefully, knowing how crazy it sounds.
Nora would dash in front of him, startling him. "Hm… You his son?"
The group slouches, "I doubt that..." Ren speaks.
Jaune would shake off Nora's weirdness. "So… Ozpin, sent you here to find us."
"I guess… He said one of you guys would show up on Haven. For what reason, I'm not sure." The young kid said.
Just then he would then close his eyes and seemingly faints. "Oscar?" Pyrrha said in worry, as she loomed over him.
Then he opens his eyes with his eyes flash green. "It's good to see you again Ms. Nikos." His voice changed.
"Wha-Headmaster Ozpin?!" The red haired huntress was shocked, and jolted back.
Jaune was confused. "Wait… Did I hear that?"
Ozpin stood up in Oscar's body. "Team JNPR. It's time to resume your training."
"... What?"
He would then stand up and walk around the team. "All of you are good, but if we are to survive this, you have to finish your training in the short amount of time we have." Jaune didn't know what to feel about this. The last time they were together with him, he made Pyrrha go through a painful process with the Fall Maiden, which failed in the end anyways.
Pyrrha would bow and accept this. "Alright… Also… Are you… Possessing this boy?" As the rest of the team is also curious about this.
Ozpin would then sigh. "It's complicated to explain. Just know that I share my mind with him, so don't worry. Now, we have pressing matters. An agent of mine has compromised. Consider this part of your training. I'll try to teach you all to the best of my abilities."
The team would look at each other, with Pyrrha nodding to them. Nora and Ren do so too. But Jaune looks away, unsure to trust him after last time.
In the pale of the moonlight at the Belladonna residence, Weiss was looking out at the stars and moon. As she looked at it, she would think to herself that it would pale in comparison to Irad's world. The beauty of the stars... She still remembered everything vividly. The beauty of the scenery, looking down at the world from so high up. She felt like she was in heaven at that moment... And him... How warm he was, how kind he was... Showing her all the wonders… His charming smile… She'd shake those sorts of thoughts though, blushing, unsure of what she was feeling. Her thoughts would be interrupted though when her watch beeped, indicating a call. It was a gift from Irad from one of her visits… She didn't show it, but she treasured it every day. She'd look at who is calling, and would warmly smile to herself that it was Irad. She'd pick up, and a hologram live feed of Irad would be displayed,
"Hey Weiss! It's good to see you!" Irad said, waving at her and taking a seat in the room he was in.
"Hey Irad. Good to see you too... Is everything ok?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah, everything is just fine. Just had to deal with some business, you know, the usual." He says with a sigh. "Right now though, I wanted to talk to you a bit, make sure you are ok... And... To be honest I also kind of missed you, because it's not as interesting here." He'd say chuckling. "It was fun getting to meet the others more thoroughly though, helped ease my mind for awhile, and learn even more about your team." He said as he observed some documents before putting them aside.
She chuckled. "You really are open about your feelings when I'm around aren't you?"
He shrugs, "Whaaat, is it bad that I admit when I admire a friend? Takes a real man to admit his feelings instead of keeping it within." He'd say with a grin and raised brow, doing a mock gorilla chest bump, before laughing.
This has the heiress to pout playfully, "The nerve…"
Little did they know, an invisible shape would spy on them.
Irad would sigh, "Are you doing ok? Nothing going on there?" He'd ask concerned.
She sighs. "It's nothing. I…" Weiss didn't know what to say. She didn't know how to express her envy of him being expressive.
He'd frown, "What's wrong? Talk to me…" He says concerned.
Weiss sighs. "I'm a little… Envious of your attitude… Just saying whatever you want and not afraid to act foolish as a result."
He'd nod, "Hmmm… Well think of this… Why be serious all the time? The only thing it does is drag you down… Life is too short to dwell on things. Sometimes, you just need to take a leap... Live a little. Experience things, make mistakes, learn, move on, joke around..."
He pauses for a moment, "The Lord said it to be that way... And I do hold my responsibilities seriously. But mistakes help me learn things. It's how I was able to get everything you've seen before you… I hold myself to the same level as any other subject, or any person in general, because in the end, we're all the same… But, as I've learned, a foolish man fears making mistakes or being foolish from time to time. Fear is what makes more mistakes. It's the acceptance that you do make mistakes that helps you prevent making your situation worse, and makes you stronger."
She smirks and lets out a giggle. "Wise words. Back then I thought my sister Winter wanted perfection out of me. Although, I never did pay attention and consider that she wanted me to be at my very best I can be..." She looks up, remembering her times of training with her.
He nods, "I can see that... If I may say, m'lady... I already think you are already perfect the way you are." He says sincerely, carrying a warm smile.
This gets the ice queen to blush, "Um… Well..." Usually, this would get her to be mad and push the compliment aside for making her feel vulnerable… Although in this case… "... Thank… You." She stuttered.
His smile grew and he came close to her through the hologram, planting a kiss on her forehead, "Goodnight Weiss. I'll talk to you in the morning. May the Lord bless you with sweet dreams." He'd say.
She nods, a bit mystified by his latest action, "You too." The hologram disappears and she would continue to gaze at the sky, thinking about Irad and how he brought a different side of her. There was Team RWBY too. She thought about how the past months really changed her. Whether it would bring good things to her future, she has yet to see that yet. Just then, this invisible force slowly walks behind her, with a sparking rapier in hand.
Weiss would sigh and feel the breeze. Just then Blake would walk in. "Weiss? What are you doing out he-" Then she gasps as she sees someone invisible approaching Weiss. Which the heiress was completely unaware of, even if she is looking directly at it. "Look out!" She kicks the invisible force as a sharp rapier comes out of nowhere and nearly hits the snow colored girl's face. The cloaked assassin gets sent to a wall and is stunned. This reveals the assassin and
Blake would look in disbelief. "Ilia..."
This girl named Ilia looks tannish with spots on her shoulder and freckles on her face. She opens her eyes and sees the shocked Blake. "Traitor..." Her eyes glow red as her chameleon traits expresses her anger.
Weiss was surprised. "What… Is even going on?!"
The chameleon faunus would stand up with her skin turning bright red. "It's bad enough that you ran away from our cause, but you protect the Schnee's?!"
"Ilia? What are you doing here?" Blake was still in disbelief.
She gets up, still angry. "When they told me you were protecting humans, I didn't believe them. But… It was actually true!"
Weiss quickly gets to Blake's side. "You know that girl?"
"Them..." Blake then remembers the two White Fang members that visited their house earlier. This got her cursing herself for not realizing this sooner.
From the shadows, Aiden lept into action to subdue Ilia. As he jumps towards her, she panics, rolls out of the way, then jumps out of the house to make her escape. Weiss would hurriedly see where she was going, only to see nothing. "Where did she go?! How did she…?"
Blake watches where she should have gone, but no one knows for sure. She looks very much saddened.
Aiden grumbles, "Should I go for her?" He offers to Blake, carrying a grim look, as if to say "Say the word, and I'll hunt."
She would then get worried. "Don't! She's..." She stops herself, unable to think what to say next.
He raises a brow, then nods, "I understand." He'd then relax and clip his sword to his back. He trusted Blake.
Weiss felt a bit of a shiver as she was this close to being assassinated by a faunus. Normally she would be determined to get back at this assassin, but Blake seems to know her on a personal level. So there is only one thing on her mind. "Blake..." She turns to her teammate. "Who was that?" Aiden would inspect around the area to sense any more danger, keeping guard, but listening in.
Blake would sigh. Later, everyone would sit down for tea as Blake explains her relationship with Ilia. Ruby takes it all in. "So she was your friend."
Blake nods. "Yeah… I felt bad for her after she lost her parents. I tried to make sure she doesn't let her emotions get the best of her… But I couldn't… I couldn't stop her… And him… So I ran..."
Weiss takes everything that was said in. "That mining accident..." She felt all kinds of horrible that her family was a part of her suffering.
Aiden rubs Blake's back to console her, as he thinks to himself. He'd heave a sigh. "Is she... Aware of Nightmaratack?"
"I..." This gets her panicking. "I don't know… Oh gosh, what if she's..."
He looks at her, knowing what she meant, "If she was, she'd be more hostile than before, and would be a heartless monster like the rest. She can still be saved." Aiden says, reassuring her.
She would listen to him, hoping there is truth in his words. "I hope you're right."
Yang would then speak her mind. "So she said those two creeps from earlier ratted out on us. The White Fang is gonna come after us now!"
Ghira sighs. "So trying to let out a helping hand is considered treason for the White Fang now?" He said in disbelief.
Aiden would be thinking for a moment, "If it is protection you need, Mr and Mrs. Belladonna, I can take you to my father. He's in a more secure location." Aiden offers.
Ghira would hum in thought. "Hm… I appreciate your concern. But I led the White Fang at some point. I feel it is my responsibility to stop these people from turning our home into a battleground."
Yang then whispers to Blake. "Your dad is pretty badass Blake."
"Then, with respect, sir... If you ever need someone to help, you can call on me." Aiden would state with determination.
Kali hugs her husband's arm. "We appreciate everything you've done for our family."
Ruby then jumps in. "Don't forget us! Team RWBY is here to help."
Weiss would still feel ashamed from what she learned. Just then Blake brings her hand to her, not willing to let the Schnee's mistakes get in the way of their team. Weiss appreciates Blake's forgiveness.
Blake would get everyone's attention. "Okay… Here's what we're going to do."
Meanwhile, Pyrrha trains Jaune in Haven's roof, while Ren and Nora try to hit Oscar, who panickedly dodges them. As he backs away, Ren would dash behind him and leg sweeps him down. Nora jumps up and dives down with her hammer down. Oscar just about saw his life flash before his eyes, until her hammer hits in between his legs narrowly. "Gosh Oscar, you gotta do better than that."
Oscar would feel pretty crummy about her comment, until his eyes flash green, and then stood up with a more proper stance resembling Ozpin. "Alright then Oscar, take a break. Now you two come and hit me."
The two would look at each other, with Nora merely shrugging. They go together to try to hit Ozpin, which despite being stuck in a young, inexperienced boy, he easily dodges and hits them at their vulnerable points, until he throws them down simultaneously.
Pyrrha would instruct Jaune. "Alright Jaune. From the top. Shield up. Stance firm. And don't forget your footing." Jaune does so as they begin swinging their blades in sync. Jaune remembers her teachings by heart as Pyrrha notices his swings are less shaky and more refined, something that brings a smile to her face.
Ozpin would be done with humbling Ren and Nora, "You haven't lost your edge Ms. Nikos."
Pyrrha nods, "Thank you."
Jaune would only glare at him and leave. "Jaune?"
"I'm taking a break." He said. It's clear to see he has a chip on his shoulder.
"Jaune…" Pyrrha was worried for him.
Ozpin can see he still has a problem with him, "I'm guessing he is still troubled around me."
Pyrrha was nervous, "I'm sorry about this."
"No, I understand."
Ren would hum in thought, "Hm..."
Ren would begin to follow where Jaune went. Nora could see he is gonna talk to Jaune. "So… What's in the agenda?" She asks Pyrrha and Ozpin.
Ren would walk up to the hallway where Jaune was, "Jaune?" He continues to walk. "You there?"
The leader of JNPR would be sitting alone, cleaning his sword. "What is it?"
Ren calmly walks up to him. "You don't seem well..."
"What makes you say that?" Jaune would sarcastically respond as he stops cleaning his blade.
The silent member of JNPR knows how to read people's emotions, "I understand how you're feeling, Jaune, but Ozpin is trying to help."
His leader sighs. "I want to believe it. But you weren't there Ren. He dragged Pyrrha into all of this. He only saw her for her skills and chose her for some God forsaken experiment. She was in pain! I heard her cry in pain! I… Don't know if her being the next Maiden would be for the best… He warned us that she wouldn't be the same… But..." He knows the worst person got it in the end, but the 'what if' keeps him up at night.
Ren knows this is something that can't be talked out, and he is not much of a talker. So he does his best, and places his hand on his shoulder. "We'll just see where this goes. He's our best chance right now to get through this. If you can't trust him, how about Pyrrha?"
This gets Jaune to turn to Ren in surprise and see's how serious he is. This puts Jaune a little bit of ease. "You… Really know what to say at the right time you know that?"
"I try..." Ren said with a small smile. It's not everyday he jokes around, and he knows it.
Team JNPR continues to settle in Haven. Nora was eating an apple, "So why is this place so empty all day?"
Jaune adds on, "Professor Lionheart was pretty quiet too."
Pyrrha replies, "I heard Ozpin was talking to Lionheart. Perhaps this could bring some progress in things."
"All we can do is train." Ren speaks.
Oscar walks in nervously, "Hey guys… So Ozpin convinced the Headmaster to keep us for a bit."
"Woo! Slumber party!" Nora cheered.
"Lets not get too comfortable. We're here for a reason." Pyrrha explains, as Oscar sits on the couch, she continues to speak her mind. "Learning is one thing, but after what we've been through, we have to do something." Feeling all kinds of responsibility bestowed upon her by Ozpin and seeing Cinder first hand of how dangerous she was.
Jaune notices Pyrrha's worry. "Let's slow down a bit. We're here to be taught so we can be prepared, right? So let's take one thing at a time okay?" The last thing Jaune wants is Pyrrha putting her life in danger again.
As Oscar drinks some tea, Ozpin would be inside the boy's spirit, meditating. Ozpin would hear a voice cry out his name, and this would alarm Ozpin, and he'd see the fady apparition of Olmotack. He looked to be chained in a purple substance, and seemed very distraught, "Ozpin, please, can you hear me?!" Olmotack said once more.
He was startled by this sudden visit, as he wasn't sure he could even communicate with him spiritually, but doesn't question it, as his agent sounds like he is in trouble. "Olmotack? Where are you?"
"Ozpin... They've mind controlled me, and I've..." He fades for a second, then comes back, "I don't have much time. Ozpin, they want Aiden! Nightmaratack, he's gonna become whole!" He fades for a moment again, before coming back, "Whatever you have to do, stop them! If Nightmaratack becomes whole, the death of everyone will be almost assured!" He cried in pain as the chains were starting to pull him back, as he struggled to stay in the same realm as Ozpin.
"Forgive me, Ozpin... I wasn't... Strong enough. The things they've made me do..." He said, shedding tears of sorrow.
He moves closer in hopes to find some way to help him, even if there is no way at the moment. "Listen, stay strong. We'll find a way to get you out of this!"
"Do what you must, sir. Just... Don't let him win…!" Olmotack was pulled back violently, and faded from view, leaving Ozpin alone.
Meanwhile, Oscar would laugh a bit after hearing a joke from Nora. "Y-Yeah… I actually th-" Just then he was interrupted and Ozpin took control again. "We need to move fast."
Pyrrha would notice the change. "Headmaster Ozpin?"
Ozpin grabs his cane and walks towards the door. "We must train."
Jaune was confused. "Train? What happened?!"
"Our enemies are a lot more clever than I anticipated. We can't leave Haven, not when the artifacts are still targeted. But we have to be ready for him..." Ozpin said in a serious tone.
Jaune stood up and raised his voice, "Who?! You can't keep any more secrets from us! Not after last time!"
Ozpin would pause, and Pyrrha would place her hand on his shoulder, trying to calm him. Jaune would see her worry and calm himself for her. The former Invincible Girl would then focus on Ozpin, "I believe we are owed an explanation after everything, sir." She said as nicely as she could.
After some silence, Ozpin felt responsible for Pyrrha as she was close to meeting death due his actions. He would sigh in defeat, "Very well…"
Meanwhile, a day passes for Menagerie, and Ghira makes a speech in public. Hiding back at the Belladonna's house, Ruby, Weiss, and Yang would stay to not cause a commotion. The blonde brawler would feel anxious. "Why aren't we out there again?"
Weiss groans in annoyance. "Must you ask that every minute? The faunus aren't gonna accept us that easily when tensions are high."
"Can't they see that we have a common enemy? The sooner they accept that the better." Yang argues back.
"That's not the point Yang!" Weiss tries to put Yang in line.
Ruby gets in both of her teammates' way to get their attention. "Okay guys, Blake told us we should stay here. So we should trust her on this. What's the worst that can happen?" Just then they hear the crowd sounding more rowdy.
Weiss can tell what's going on once she hears someone is riling up the people. "It's her..."
Ilia shouts in outrage for how the humans have taken everything from her, "Everything they put us through! You're asking us to help them?!"
Ghira can also be heard. "I know we haven't been treated fairly..." He is clearly trying to calm Ilia down.
"Where was their help, when the Dust companies treated our people like slaves?! Where was their help when the kingdoms hunted the faunus for being just who they are?! Where was my help when my parents were killed in a Dust mine?! WHERE?!" Her words hit Weiss hard after she had to get over her faunus prejudice.
Aiden stood in the shadows, waiting for a signal for Blake if need be. He was to be the backup to restore order if they grew hostile. He clenched his teeth and narrowed his eyes, as he heard what was going on.
"The Belladonna's are the worst kind of faunus! They want us to work with the same people who are trying to hold us down! If you truly want to help your people, then you need to work for Adam!" Hearing this, Yang begins to get angry.
"Yaaaaang..." Ruby could tell she is beginning to flare up.
"ENOUGH!" A voice mightily yelled, and a shockwave is felt, and a blast of wind blows everyone slightly back, as they cower at a figure who has suddenly appeared... It was Irad. "I will not stand for this... Insolence!" The overlord said, overlooking the crowd from above, floating in place.
Everyone looked to each other, noting that this was the man who came to the aid of Beacon. Irad would point his cane at Ilia accusingly, "I want nothing more from you! What do you think killing the Schnees or anyone of humanity in general will do, huh?! You think it will magically fix everything?! I've lived with your type before, and the only thing that will happen is cause more discord! If you dare stoop to their level, what will you become?! You'll be just like those monsters out there." He says, landing and slamming his cane down, sending another slight shockwave, as his anger rises, "And what if you got what you want?! You'll only bring in fear, and the cycle will continue over and over until BOTH sides are killed! Are you really fine with killing the innocent? Are ALL OF YOU fine with slaughtering the innocent?" This has everyone looking at each other, feeling unsure, and his next few words hit the people like a ton of bricks, "Men! Women! Children! It would never end! We should be promoting peace with one another, kindness, prosperity! Just as the White Fang was originally built!" He turned his attention to his left, where Ilia is, "But you? You just want war, Ilia. I know how hard it is to lose your family… But you've let your hatred and rage consume you, blind you to the bigger picture! And now you wish to instill fear on others, to satisfy your selfish desires, for your own vengeance. You will have solved NOTHING by murdering or instilling fear, it will NEVER bring your parents back, and it will NEVER bring peace. You may think that peace hasn't brought you anywhere, but I assure you, it has, and I've been watching this world for a LONG time. Humans are just like all of you, and I too am quite human. Maybe you have some different instincts, maybe you look different, but we are all the same in the eyes of the Lord, we all make mistakes, we are not perfect, we have emotions, we have a heart. In heart, and in spirit, we ARE ALL human, brother and sister!" This has everyone starting to nod in agreement, his words touching the people.
Aiden would then walk to the stage, and would stand by Irad, "My name is Aiden Green. I am a human… And my step-father is a faunus." This has everyone gasping, and Ilia's eyes widen in disbelief. He continues, "For a long time, kids hated me for this fact that I had a faunus for a father… I was looked down upon, and cast out. But there was one human who came around, and didn't see me for WHAT my father was, but for WHO he was. I'm happy to say, she's my bestest friend in the world." This has Ruby smiling big, and almost in tears. Yang just looks at Ruby, proud. "We don't have to be separated. We can be together, unified… And I, a human, am in love with a faunus." He says, making everyone mumble in the crowd in a shocked manner, "I don't see her as a "Faunus", I see her as a woman. God gave me a woman who was kind, caring, strong, intelligent… It's as Irad said, WE ALL are human, in our hearts, and spirit. We don't need to fight each other!"
Irad continues the point, "Those who have caused insurrections to the rights of Faunus can also be accounted for. TRUE justice can be achieved through other means than war. And I will not stand here, and let this world be destroyed like my old home world! Weiss Schnee," He began, making Weiss perk up, "She is not like the one Schnee that I know all of you are aware of. She's loving and selfless, doing everything to break the chain her father made! She fights with her team to make a better world- FOR ALL of us! She's one of the kindest, sweetest people I've met, and is nothing like her father!" These words touched Weiss' heart, and she really wanted to cry at that moment, "If you want to point a sword, point it towards the bigger enemy out there!" Irad says with firmness.
"Let's all unify together, Humans and Faunus, against the true enemy! Let us destroy the darkness together, as one!" Aiden finishes, raising a fist.
There were loud, excited mumblings in the crowd, then cheers, turning the tide of Ilia's argument, as Irad and Aiden's arguments seemed to be making sense, winning the crowd's favor, slowly but surely. She felt their words hit her deeply. Growling in frustration, she leaves quickly. Blake could tell she is full of conflict and wonders if she can be reasoned with.
The crowds cheered loudly for Irad and Aiden, as they felt Ghira pat their shoulders, laughing jovially, as Irad would look around, a bit nervous from the attention, but happy he could make a point, and pull some sense into everyone, and inspire.
Aiden would look to Irad… At first he didn't know how to feel for Irad... But the more he sees of him, the more it makes him think. Blake, though, would go onto the stage quickly, and she would jump on him and embrace him tightly. She loved Aiden so much, and was so proud and happy, tearing up.
Aiden would hug back, "It will all be ok." He said, comforting her. Ghira was a bit overprotective when he first saw Aiden, but now he can trust him with Blake, as he has conviction for not just his daughter, but also their people.
As they go back to the Belladonna homestead, Ruby cheers at them, "You did it, guys!" Yang gives them a thumbs up, while Weiss nods to them, acting impressed, hiding her true feelings. Aiden would shrug, a bit embarrassed.
Ghira would laugh and wrap his arms around Aiden and Irad. "You boys really have been a big help! How could we ever repay you?!"
Irad would sweatdrop, "With all due respect... I came here after Weiss said something, sir. So it's her you should also thank, otherwise I'd be oblivious to this event." Irad would admit.
Weiss feels more nervous. "Um… Well… You're the one who actually got involved..."
Ghira never liked Jacques Schnee, but Weiss is nothing like her father at all, which has him respect her more, "I never would believe a Schnee would help… But if you are Blake's friend, then I have no reason not to accept you."
Blake smiles at this, and Ruby and Yang cheered. "Yeah! Weiss is the best!"
"Hell yeah!"
Weiss feels all kinds of bashful. "D-Do you all never stop acting like children?!"
Irad smiles at Weiss, happy for her, and nods.
Kali would feel the positive vibe, and would walk to the kitchen. "You all deserve a feast!"
Yang raises her fist. "Yeah! Your parents are the best Blake!"
Blake would blush, "Yang…"
Aiden would perk up, "Did someone say FOOD?!" With that, his stomach grumbled. His eyes sparkled at the prospect of finally eating, and everyone cracked up laughing.
Weiss sighs, smiling, "And I thought Nora had the appetite."
"Huh. I wonder what they've been up to." Ruby said to herself as a crow landed on a tree trunk and watched the leader of Team RWBY through the window.
At sunset, Weiss was outside, observing the others inside having fun. She smiled to herself, feeling grateful to have such good friends... She was also happy Irad came in to stick up for her... She giggled at the thought of him, but would look down, as she delved deep into the subject of her family...
"Hey there." Aiden said, making Weiss jump a bit, "You alright? Party's in there." He said, leaning casually on the wall.
"Oh yeah. I just… Needed some air..." She would continue to glare up.
He looks concerned, "I know we haven't been on good terms... And we haven't really talked too much... But... What's up?" He asks with interest.
The heiress felt a little awkward about the things he just said, "Well… Was I really that much of a snob back then?" She regretted asking it, but it came out of her mouth anyway.
He chuckled, "A little. But... I can tell though, you've really changed..." He looks up at the sky, "I see why Irad likes you so much... You are a very great person... And dare I say, different from any other of those "rich snobs", heh..." He pauses, "I... I s'pose with this in mind, I wanna apologize for how I treated you before… I was so mean and cruel… But- I hope that maybe from here, we can put our past behind us and be true friends…" Aiden offers, looking at Weiss.
She blushed with this. She didn't expect anything like this from him and stuttered a bit, "Well… I'm… I'm sorry if I was a snob back then… To you… You and Ruby there." Wanting to end this whole spat they may have had.
They shake hands, and Aiden smirks, "Now... Were you upset by something else? Surely you aren't out here all because we had some beef with one another." He asks.
Weiss would be in a loss for words for a bit, "Well… Not exactly. It feels rather surreal that I would be here in general… Meeting Ruby and the others. Me having a better understanding of what Winter wants with me. But all this time I wanted to change the image of my family name. It was my original goal. Although I had no idea how to do it. Now that I do, it makes me want to change it now more than ever. But am I really ready? Am I missing something important? Can I really change it at this moment? Do I really want to? I much rather be a Huntress like my sister. I..." She is unable to say more, as her mind is in disarray.
He thinks, "All you can really do is move forward in your own right… No one is truly ready. Truly, you should strive to be the best you can be, and focus on you. It is your life, your choices that define who you are as a person… Regardless, you have your friends, and me to support you, right?"
A hum can be heard through her. After some thought, she nods to him, "Yeah..." She then stands with pride after another moment, "Yes, of course! The only one who can decide my fate is myself! I, Weiss Schnee! And no one else!"
He chuckles, "Yeah! Forge your own path, make your own destiny! Choose what you want to be. That's what my pa-"
"That's what I taught you." A Faunus man said as he approached them. He was tall, and sort of wrinkly, but looked strong and wise. Aiden races to him,
"Father!" He says, embracing him.
Weiss was very much shocked and baffled. "H-How did he get here?!"
"I saw you all at the event. I wanted to surprise my son. I've been away for a while on a business endeavor, and I just came back..." He'd look Weiss up and down, "Are you his...?"
Aiden would back away, "This is my friend!" He looks at Weiss, then whispers to his dad, "Weiss Schnee" He'd say, and the wolf faunus nodded in understanding.
She would cough a bit and bow politely to him. "'Ahem!' Well it's a pleasure to meet you… Um… Aiden's… Father?"
"Please, call me Altair." He says with a smile, offering a hand.
She would shake his hand and bow. "Well, nice to meet you Altair. I'm Weiss."
He chuckles, "A lovely young miss. Very well mannered. I've heard all about you and your team from Aiden, Ms. Schnee. I'm glad my boy has such good friends."
"Daaad..." Aiden says, a bit embarrassed.
"Well go on Aiden, show me that special girl you like." Altair said with a playful grin.
"Ughhh..." Aiden would grumble, as they head back inside. Altair would greet everyone. When she joined, Weiss would see Irad wave to her with a kind expression, and she feels she knows what person she would walk to her future with. Aiden would walk to Blake and her parents with Altair, and Altair would formally greet the Belladonnas,
"Lovely to meet you, Mr and Mrs Belladonna. My son has said a lot of good things about your daughter. May I add, your home is just lovely!" Altair complimented.
Ghira laughs in a jolly manner. "It's a major pleasure getting to meet you!"
Kali would add on as she brings some tea, "Your son is quite the gentleman, no doubt you were responsible!"
Altair would laugh jovially, "Oh well, you know what they say, 'A well mannered man is a good man.'" Altair would then turn to Blake, "And you must be Blake." He said, smiling, "I've been looking forward to meeting you!" The wolf Faunus exclaimed, extending his hand.
She would shake his hand. "I have also heard of you. I'm honored to meet you." She said in a slightly nervous tone.
He'd smile, "Such a pretty young girl! Won't we have such beautiful grandbabies!"
"DAD! WE'RE 18!" Aiden calls out, very embarrassed and red, then covering his own face.
Blake instantly turns red as well and covers her mouth. Kali then pops in. "Oooooh! I was thinking the same thing!"
"MOM!" Blake calls out to her own mother as well.
"I wonder how many we will have?" Altair would wonder.
"OH MY GOSH!" Aiden and Blake said in unison.
The other members of RWBY would laugh, Weiss standing next to Irad. Irad would look at the scene with amusement and would sigh. He'd turn to Weiss while the others were still talking with one another, and he'd quietly say to her, "Hey... I was thinking of staying in your world for a bit, y'know, since I'm already here and all... Are you fine with that?" He'd ask, "Maybe you and I could... I dunno... Spend some time together? Finally show me around some nice locations you've spoken about before?"
Weiss blushed a bit, but kept her calm this time, "Just as long as you're the one buying."
He chuckles, "For you, I'd buy the whole world." He says with a playful wink.
She smiled more hearing this. This is definitely the man she wants to walk her future with. "Better not disappoint." She playfully winks back.
At some point in the night, her team would be seeing Weiss off.
"Do you have to go already?!" Ruby says to Weiss.
"I'm just showing Irad around. I'll be back by the morning." Weiss assured. Yang would snicker,
"Ok, you have fun with your special king then." She says playfully. Weiss would blush slightly and smile, rolling her eyes to the joke, as the window to the limo would seal, and Irad and Weiss would be off, leaving the other members of RWBY, and Aiden to look on.
Aiden would speak up after a moment of silence, "Definitely is a date." And the others would hum in agreement in unison.
As the limo was driving, Irad was messing with his watch for a moment. He looked to Weiss, who was looking at him, and he'd smile and he'd switch seats to be next to her, as he'd close his watch, "So, where to first, Ms. Schnee?" He says in a playful tone, as he would show a map of the region on a screen that came down when he pushed a button. "We can go anywhere we want."
"Hm… Dinner seems appropriate." She said with a smirk.
He'd smirk, "I thought so. Hence why I didn't partake of the feast." Weiss would then see they stopped at a restaurant already a few minutes later,
"You must have had everything planned, didn't you?" Weiss said with a playful smirk.
Irad shrugs, "Hey, gotta be ready for anything." Irad would get out first, then open the door for Weiss. Weiss would grab his arm keeping hers locked with his, and together they would go along with it and walk inside. The hosts and waitresses seemed to straighten their backs more, as this was the presence of the daughter of the Schnee family.
"Welcome to Sotto La Luna, Ms. Schnee..." They'd then notice Irad, "Ah- Mr. Irad, a surprise and honor to see you at our wonderful establishment. Table for two?"
"Yes, table for two..." And he'd go up close and whisper something to the host, sliding three pieces of what seemed like gold coins into his breast pocket. before the host nods,
"Ah, come with me then." They'd walk for a bit, the guests of the restaurant gazing at the sight of Weiss and Irad. Irad seemed to stand tall despite the constant gaze, and soon they would be taken to what seemed to be a large balcony with tables. The tables were dimly lit by candles under the moon, decorated by a bluish silver coating on the table cloths. Irad would pull out Weiss' seat, and she'd sit, and Irad would soon follow suit. The host would give menus to them, "We hope our selection is to your likings, Mr. Irad, and Ms. Schnee." He'd say with a respectful bow, before leaving. The moon was rising from the side of Weiss, and the light seemed to envelope the area with a beautiful glow.
"You know me and seeing the moon." Irad would state, chuckling. "You like?" He said, hinting at the scenery. "Fun fact: This restaurant was built by a couple a long time ago, they had met under the moon right here at this location."
"Hm. I never knew that. Very romantic." She said with interest.
"Indeed! I've been reading a lot about some of the history… Truly, fascinating! Yes, eheh…" He states, as he looks on the menu… He feels a bit nervous as of now, his heart seems to be beating a bit faster. This type of moment seemed… Different to Irad. "Uhhh I s'pose I'll be getting the Steak then… Ooo, that side does sound delicious… Uh, what will you be getting?" He asks Weiss.
"Hm… I'll go for the salad." She decided on.
He raises a brow, "Why not try something like uh…" He looks at the menu, "The lasagna? Something different than the small things I usually see you order?"
She pauses, Weiss seeming to think for a moment, debating on what he said, and Irad continues, "I don't mean to judge your choices, by no means… I just want you to eat well because I care…"
She sighs. "Fine. Soup should suffice. It's not as messy. With a lot of chicken."
Irad still seems dissatisfied, "Hmmm… Have you even at least tried lasagna?"
"I heard it's very messy." She showed hints of disgust.
"Well, only if you eat big bites… And as long as you are careful, you should be fine. Even so, that's why man made napkins. And if it does get on your clothes, I have technology to remove it instantly… Think of this though, I think you'd rather eat a dish that consists of pasta, marinara, and beef instead of a dish that consists of fucking insects or rodents, now THAT is disgusting. Trust me, in my old realm, some people ate some wacky stuff that I personally would lose more than just my lunch to." He shivers in disgust.
The proper lady that originated from Atlas can't help but glare at him with squinted eyes. "Fine. I'll try the lasagna."
He smiles, "Alright, let's take this as one small step then! I assure you, it's to die for!" As they waited, Weiss couldn't help but ask,
"Wait, some of the people of your old homeworld…?"
"It's best if you don't ask…" Irad said, feigning a nervous smile. Weiss would just take his word for it. A waiter would come, and he'd place his order, and Weiss would place hers. The waiter would then leave, and Irad would sigh. Weiss would look out at the scenery, as she liked it. Irad would look, and inspect her features… The light reflecting off her skin… The expression she made. Those lips… She looked so beautiful in this sort of environment, his heart was skipping beats. Soon enough, Weiss would see he was looking at her, and he would clear his throat, blushing a bit, "S-Sorry… You are… You're very beautiful… If I may be honest." Irad would bashfully admit.
"Well..." After some awkward silence, she leaves it at that. "...Thank you." At this point, she's used to his blunt compliments.
Irad would think to himself, "What the fuck was that?! You're screwing things up! Stupid stupid stupid-" He kept repeating in his mind. He breathed a sigh, as he looked off at the moon as it continued to rise slowly... Weiss would glimpse at Irad as he was looking... As the moment dragged on, Irad seemed lost in his thoughts... Almost looking saddened.
"A… Penny for your thoughts?" She said with worry.
He'd perk up, and he smiled a bit, "I'm just... Thinking…" He pauses for a long moment, in thought, then continues, "Y'know the moon here sort of speaks to me... Before I met you... Lately I've been down. Sure I had some friends, but..." He'd sigh, his tired eyes showing, "For awhile I've been swarmed with work… And since coming here, I'm trying to find excuses to stay around…" (Moment theme: Bury the Light (Music Box Version) - DMC 5 Remixes /watch?v=55JRQA8QL_Y) "Truthefully it's… A lot of work, but very lonely at the top. You begin to feel isolated from the others. I've encountered many whom are just around me just for clout or status... I've done a lot for people, sure... But no one knows the true me. No one..." He'd sigh, as a tear rolled down his cheek, which he quickly wiped away, "I've never been too close with anyone... Not really like you. And thinking now, I feel like it's a bit like my childhood. Hurt so many times by people... Feeling isolated... Unsure how to even approach people. Afraid, even… I've been through so much over the years…" He looks to the moon, "A broken heart, struggling to stay together through the constant heartbreaks, is what I see the moon here as... My own family, supportive as they were... They…" He dreaded the thought, as it still haunted him. "But, I suppose I've grown tired of being in my state. S'pose I've almost grown to envy my citizens... A part of me wishes I were normal like them, in a better world... A regular boy as I once was. Just going day by day... Get a job. Get a wife. Maybe some kids. Have that white picket fence... But... It seems even that was too much to ask, with my responsibilities, and who I choose to be..."
Feeling overwhelming sympathy, Weiss slowly places her hand to his, and grips it tight. "I felt the same way too, once..." Although in truth, it is all she felt for most of her life. Her façade she puts on to try and distract herself from the loneliness.
He laughs, "It's easy to put on a smile, y'know. Appear happy, cause that's what you're supposed to do all the time. Smile and wave. If they see you unhappy, your subjects will start to doubt you and worry..." He dabs his eyes with his napkin, "So it's not all the time I can really show anything other than my authority, or that mask. I have to be strong." He exasperates a sigh, struggling to keep his composure, as he struggles to form a smile, his tired eyes gazing.
Weiss grips harder. "In that case, I'll make you smile genuinely everyday. No façade!" She said with conviction.
Irad would look at her, his eyes widened, as he looked at her with a blush, and completely awestruck. The world seemed to disappear in that moment for him, and Weiss was the only thing he could think of and see. His heart was beating so fast now, and the butterflies amplified in his stomach.
"Weiss..." He quietly said.
Weiss then feels all kinds of pressure inside. Feeling her heart beat more harder the more she glares at him, but her gaze softens as they seemed to lean closer, and Irad slowly began,
"I think I've always-" But he would be cut off as a waiter would clear his throat, holding their food. They'd retract their hands and each return composure, as the waiter would place down their food. Irad and Weiss, blushing, would remain silent, and the waiter would bow,
"I hope the food is to your liking. Do call us if you need anything, madam and sir" He says, turning to leave. Irad would look off, then look down at his steak dinner.
He'd giggle at first, then chuckle, then he'd begin to laugh. Weiss would raise a brow, but soon would also chuckle, then laugh as well. They laughed for a moment, before finally stopping, Irad saying, "Don't you know, Weiss? I'm always genuinely happy around you." He said, as he gave her a sincere smile that touched Weiss' heart. She tries to brush it off while eating her lasagna. Although, she wasn't paying attention, and some of the sauce got in her dress. Getting her to groan as she reaches for her napkin.
Irad though would simply hand over a spray, "Use this." He said. She'd raise a brow, and would take the spray, spraying it on the stain, and instantly it would deteriorate, much to Weiss' amazement and pleasure, "That spray delves into the fabric, cleaning it up and safely restoring it. Not even wine stains stand a chance." He said with a little pride.
"Amazing!" Weiss was genuinely impressed.
Weiss now comfortably eats the food, enjoying every taste. She'd never imagined herself eating such foods, but with Irad, she can enjoy so much more. Irad would be eating his steak dinner, as the two were talking and laughing all throughout, enjoying each other's company. It would dawn on Weiss that she never had an experience like this. She can't help but be reminded of her time with Neptune. She found him handsome and it was enough for her at the time… But during their date back in the prom back in Beacon, she realized that they weren't really compatible, much to her disappointment. Now, she feels a lot more compatible with Irad. It feels almost surreal that this is happening, she could barely contain herself as they eat.
After the meals, Irad would sigh in content, "Now THAT, was good. I can see why this world has much of an appeal…" He covered his mouth as he burped, "Oh my! E-Excuse me." He says in a bit of embarrassment, Weiss giggling a little. Irad would chuckle as well, and would grab Weiss's resting hand, "Hey… I've been thinking…" He states, looking off, "You and I have… Really gotten close over the few months… And thanks to your help, we've been keeping the dark entities at bay strategically and efficiently… So I wanted to give you a path for you to choose, if you desire…" He inhaled deeply, as Weiss looked with interest, "I want you as my personal close advisor… A-Almost like a queen a bit… But y'know… Nothing like uh, marriage… N-Not saying I uh, wouldn't or… I mean I'm not- agh." He breathes, growing serious once more, "Y-you're the one person I trust the most who hasn't disappointed, and have proven time and again to be highly efficient, and bring results. The perks are, I will eventually move you from this world into mine, and you will attain instant and permanent citizenship… As for your friends, well… I can let you sort that out, I can always arrange something for them… You'd also train under me, as I can manage that at least. Not that you… Have much left to learn as it is. But you'll be helping me make the big decisions, plan things, and oversee things with me… That, and I can show you more dazzling things my realm has to offer, and you wouldn't have to leave m- the realm again." He states, catching himself on the last part.
This was a lot to consider. She thought about it, but couldn't find an answer. "I..." Just then they hear her phone. "Oh, sorry. May I?"
He nods, "Of course!" he leans back, letting her have a moment.
Weiss would answer the call. "Hello?" After listening for a moment, her eyes widen, and she begins to panic. "What?!" The good feeling has now suddenly dropped. "Okay!" She hangs up. "We have to go back to Blake's house!"
Irad would grow serious, "Let's go." He'd leave a bag of pure gold coins on top of the table, as they stormed off. Anyone who got in their way, Irad would shift them to the side with his magic, and they would get into the limo, and he would summon his cane and it would appear from his blue flames, "I want this limo at the Belladonna house, ASAP!" He harshly orders the driver, and he obliges.
Some time ago…
During the date with Irad and Weiss, Blake walks alone in an alley. She was given a note from Ilia to talk to her alone. She would sneak out, handling her old affairs with her old ally, "Ilia?" She looks around.
"I'm here…" Blake jolts, grabbing her weapon cautiously. She then noticed Ilia walked towards her through the shadows. Something seems to be bothering her deep down. Blake can tell it has something to do with what happened in the speech.
Blake tries to end this in peace. "Ilia. I know you're scared, but you don't have to be. My family and I can keep you safe."
Ilia can feel Blake's genuine tone and their history has her conflicted, with hints of regret, "What… Is your real relationship with those humans you're keeping?"
A silent pause for a few seconds, until Blake responds. "My friends. They would do anything for me, and me, them. That's why they are here."
Then she raises her hands. "Then… I'm sorry..."
The black cat faunus still feels she can reason with her, "You can make it up by telling us what Fennec and Corsac is up to."
"No… I'm sorry..." Ilia then clenched her fist and right on cue, Blake was attacked by a bat faunus, slamming her down to the ground. Blake groans in pain, she looks to see her attacker and he has glowing purple eyes. And more White Fang walks in to surround her.
"W-Wait..." Then Blake gets hit by webs by one of the faunus who uses spider abilities. "Ilia! What are you doing?!"
Ilia looks down on Blake, still plastered with an expression of melancholic. "I tried to warn you Blake. I'm sorry."
"Don't tell me you're sorry!"
"But I am! I am sorry it has to be this way. But you and your family are holding the faunus back."
Blake's heart begins to shatter with each word she says, "Because we are trying to protect people?! In what world do you live in where attacking the innocent is the right thing to do?!"
Now Ilia is triggered, and her true feelings are revealed. "The same one as you!" Her eyes now glow purple. "There is no innocence! No right thing to do! Only what's best, for US! And you know what's best for us?! Fear! I don't like hurting people, but you know what? It gets results."
She then points her rapier sword to Blake's neck. "Yeah… Look what that's gotten you. It won't bring your parents back, so why even bother?" Blake says, referencing the speech.
This got Ilia to pause. Her eyes suddenly stop glowing, and she clutched her head, "Ugh! Uuuuugh!"
"Ilia!" Blake can tell she's being manipulated. "They're forcing you to do this! Ple-"
Ilia then points her sword even deeper, her eyes radiating a purple glow, "SHUT UP!" Her voice is even deeper, "I'm not being manipulated!" Blake can feel her skin almost being penetrated. "This is… Me. The REAL ME!" Just then the glow dies down. Her face showed sadness. "But… I guess back then you never noticed it…" She sniffs, "Of all the good times we had… I thought of you as a sister…" Her eyes glowed again, as she seemed to seeth in anger, "But don't worry… If it's Adam you SO wanted to see, you can get to meet him again. In Mistral." Blake widens her eyes more. Meeting Adam again was the last thing she wanted after what happened in Beacon. Even if he was repelled, the feelings of him still lingers in her soul.
"Ilia… Please..." The chameleon faunus leaves her coldly, ordering the two attackers to bring Blake to the docks.
The spider faunus in white hair would pick Blake up forcefully. "Too bad your little boyfriend isn't here."
Blake would grit in anger, looking at her captor. Then she smirks. "Who said he wasn't here? NOW!"
Aiden would jump down, kicking Ilia aside, and the spider, and taking a defensive stance. "I see you've gotten yourself in quite the pickle, eh Blake?" He says, offering a hand and helping Blake up, as they prepare for a brawl, "This ought to be easy..." He says, observing their opponents, as he quickly loads in a vial of fire dust into his sword's chamber, lighting up and ready to go.
Blake would get on a defensive stance as well. "They're after everyone back home! We have to go now!"
Ilia would quickly vanish, no doubt going to her house. The White Fang members would block the two's way. Blake grits in anger, not having time for them.
Aiden, with a swift motion, slashes his blade, creating a projectile that blows them away. Blake and Aiden take the opportunity to continue, Blake and Aiden knocking aside the mind controlled White Fang in their path. Soon they would reach her home.
Blake would try to call out to her parents, but nothing. Back at home, Kali's guards would take cover in their dining room table and try to protect her. But would get shot down. Kali see's his gun and would use it. "Get out of my house!" She angrily shouts. Just then, they would be hit by a red flash, and a huge wind.
Kali shields her eyes, until the wind is gone. "Are you okay?" Ruby helps Kali up.
"Where's my husband?! Is he-?!"
"Yang is with him!" Ruby assures her.
Speaking of Yang, she would be smashing the White Fang soldiers hard with her burning knuckles. "Come on! Is that all you got?!"
Ghira would passively hit them with punches or chops. "Where's my wife?"
"Ruby's got her. As long as we hold them off, we ca-'' Then an ice blade stabs through her shoulder, as she screams in pain. "-GAAAAAUGH!" She falls in Ghira's arms. It was the brothers Fennec and Corsac. Ghira also noticed his men are all dead around his feet. Yang grits in pain as she pulls it out of her, but seethes in anger. But just as she was about to get back up, he blocked her way. He would grit in anger, as rage is beginning to take him over. His teeth, and nails are sharper. He would growl as he tears his shirt off, and let out an animalistic roar, comparable to the strongest apex predator.
He would move around like a big cat, slashing the invaders, and throwing them around like rag dolls. Yang sitting there and watching this, actually intimidated, but also excited to see him kicking all kinds of ass. After throwing one of the White Fang invaders' own spear towards Corsac's hood, but also taking a fire blast from him as well, he would be pushed back by Fennec's icy wind. A hiding White Fang would prepare to shoot Ghira dead while he is distracted, until Aiden crashes in and kicks him down. Corsac would pull himself free and combine their powers to a fire and ice beam towards Aiden.
They would be stopped from behind by Altair though, as Altair, with strength not akin for an older man, would lift them up with ease, and ram their heads together, knocking them out. Altair snarled, bearing his sharp teeth, his wolf eyes glaring, and his hair standing up, before easing up, and nodding to Ghira.
Blake would help Yang up. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah. Ruby is out there helping your mom."
Aiden would nod and he would go out to where Ruby was, only to be confronted by Cinder, who was sitting casually in a chair in the dining room, "Whoa... You're supposed to be..."
Cinder would raise a brow, "Dead?" She'd rise from her seat, and get in Aiden's path. Aiden would clench his teeth, and clutch the handle of his sword harder.
"No, I am very, much alive..." She says with fire in her eyes.
Meanwhile, Roman would be spectating from afar using a scope, with Neo looking at the scene as well, awaiting orders, as his plan was coming into fruition to bring out Aiden, and bring him in.
"Well things are looking bad for Little Red's friends! I almost feel sorry for them." Which has Neo glare at him. "I said almost."
He looks with interest, hoping Cinder will play her part, and especially won't get carried away and kill their man.
Aiden stands off against Cinder, "You don't know what the fuck you've done working with him, Cinder... But either way." He flips his sword, "I'll make sure you STAY dead this time!"
Cinder would smile, as Aiden charged at her and attacked with ferocity, as Cinder was blocking and parrying, using her new power to enhance her physical capabilities, and using a new weapon she conjured up. She would provoke Aiden with her words as they fought:
"You think you're strong, but it could crumple anytime, like fragile pillars. And I will burn them… One… By… One." She grins as her eyes burn up.
He grimaces for a moment, but would retort, "Big talk from someone who died so pathetically." He says dodging an attack, "So how did death feel? Were you able to see hell yet? I know you'd love it there." He asks mockingly.
She grimaced as well, "You're going to feel death as well… Or… Perhaps your friends will first."
She'd smile, remembering those dear to him, and as they locked blades, she says, "Maybe I should start with that little red hooded girl... Or maybe... I can start with the one you love. I can make it nice, and slow, just for you."
This gets Aiden fuming. Dark veins cover his body, and his eyes begin to glow, "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH THEM!" He says, pushing her back, then raising a hand, as darkness spews from it, attacking Cinder. She'd block them with her own magic, and fought back. Aiden would take chairs and tables, and they would come alive and try to harm Cinder, but she would brush them off as Aiden continued his onslaught. His blade is now becoming corrupted, as his fury rises. Cinder though, would remain strong, and would blast him through the wall, out to where Ruby was fighting. Aiden breathed hard, as he rose, snapping his fingers, tendrils rose and attacked Cinder, who was having fun avoiding. Aiden was being sloppy, letting his anger get the best of him. Cinder enjoyed the feeling of Aiden's anger and hatred. She fed upon it, and she used it, as she sent a barrage of hellfire his way, and he kept at his assault.
"Embrace the demon, Aiden Green. Give me everything you have, so I can destroy you!" She says, feeling her sanity slip a bit more as she uses more powerful attacks. She would give into her own rage as she charges her flames and fires her own flaming beam surrounding him in an attempt to blow up the whole house.
Her attack would be stopped though, as a giant glyph would hang above, one Ruby would identify as Weiss', but it seemed... Different. The fires would be put out, and two figures charged Cinder, putting Cinder on the defensive, as Irad and Weiss attacked. Cinder would be sent sliding back, as she caught sight of the duo. Weiss and Irad stood side by side,
"Seems you've taught me a lesson, Ms. Fall..." He unsheathes his cane sword again, and points it at Cinder, "I need to burn the body after every kill."
Meanwhile with Roman, he'd signal Neo to proceed, "It's time for your part in this act, Neo." He'd say, and Neo would smile and go off.
Aiden needed to go into the house and ensure Blake was fine, as he couldn't see her, but Cinder blocked his path by trapping him in a volley of fire. As Cinder traps him in a fiery pillar, with heat that burns the very air, however, Irad would use his magic to counter it, making her turn her attention back to him and Weiss.
Aiden walked through the damaged house, as he heard coughing that sounded like Blake, "Blake? Blake, where are you!?" He called out. He'd reach the source coming to a room, and he'd bust down a damaged door to reveal a heap of debris atop Blake. She'd cough, and he'd come to her side, "B-Blake! Oh my-" He'd say as he got closer, kneeling down and helping her up.
Just then, Neo would smirk and knee his gut hard, then chopped his neck to make sure he doesn't fight back. He'd stare shocked for a moment, before he crumpled, unconscious. The real Blake would be calling out for Aiden, entering the wrecked home, and soon she'd see Neo carrying Aiden off, and Blake would grow enraged, but she'd be stopped by Ilia, who was there to make sure Neo got away.
"The demon WILL become whole again! And this world will be reformed!" Ilia said in a demonic voice, getting ready to fight once more.
Blake would shout to Ilia. "Ilia! This isn't you!"
The young White Fang would then get a headache. As much as she hates Blake, and her family, she never once mentioned any demons. All she cares about are the faunus. "Gugh! No!"
She struggles to keep control as her body begins to flash all kinds of colors all over.
Cinder then walks in after gaining distance from her oppressors, "I never did get to get rid of one of them last time..." She then brings out her bow and arrow.
Ruby sees this, "Blake!"
She was too distraught to process it, but once she heard Ruby, it's too late. Cinder lets go of the arrow, but as it was just about to hit her, someone gets in the way. Blake turns around to see it was Ilia who blocked the arrow through her chest. "Ilia...?" The arrow burned through her chest and she fell on her back. "Ilia!" She would hurry to her side.
"I… I didn't… Know… What to do..." Ilia would let out as she convulsed in pain.
Cinder would scowl, but didn't have time to act, as Irad and Weiss barraged her with more attacks, soon with Weiss cutting off Cinder's arm. Cinder would clutch the stump where her arm was, and hiss. She knew she had to retreat quickly. She used her pain to fuel her, and would disappear in a cloud of flames. A ship would soon land and pick up Neo carrying an unconscious Aiden. Roman would be waiting attentively, satisfied his plan went accordingly, and he mocked them,
"Ciao! It was a pleasure playing with you... A shame we have to leave on such short notice... But I'm sure our parting gifts will suffice!" Roman says, laughing, as Dark Grimm leapt from the forest to attack them, and the ship they were in flew off fast. Weiss and Irad, as much as they wished to go after them, had to fend off the beasts. Ilia would feel her life slowly draining.
"Ilia… I'm so sorry I ever hurt you..." Blake embraces Ilia.
Ilia would feel her life leaving, and seeing how everything went horribly wrong, she would slowly embrace back, "I'm… Sorry..." This time she truly shows true sadness for the person she loved as not a friend- but a sister... But then she revealed something before her time was over. "Adam… Is gonna attack Haven now… Please… Stop… Him..."
Suddenly, the arrow's effects would spread across Ilia's body, making her body turn to ash in an instant, leaving no trace left, as Blake goes wide eyed. First she loses a long lost friend... And her boyfriend being kidnapped... Blake would scream, everyone looking down with sorrow. Yang would rush in, along with Weiss and Ruby. They see Blake cry, as they embrace their friend.
There would be a long moment of silence, before Irad would have a serious expression, "It's not over yet." He says, determined, catching the attention of the others, "What Nightmaratack doesn't know is that I always try to think one step ahead. My men have been tracing the source of darkness, as behind the scenes we've been following leads, and have done multiple scans of the dark energy. Once we are able to find it, which may take a few more weeks or more, we can make an assault, and end everything right there, and save Aiden… It will take time, due to us having to decipher the large pockets of dark energy from the main one. I will aid in the completion of all of your training… But the question is… Will you join me in eradicating the darkness once and for all?" He says, offering his hand.
Ruby realized how this sounded as serious as it gets. So she would make her answer, until Blake would speak up. "Yes. But first, we have to go to Mistral. People are in danger, and by more misguided people like Ilia.""
Yang pats her shoulder. "We're with you." Weiss nods to that. She knows how far this hatred between humans and faunus went and wants to stop it cold.
"Well then... What are we waiting for?" A limo would drive up, and they'd all enter and drive away...
Meanwhile with Roman, he is basking in his glory that his plan worked flawlessly, while Cinder is boiling with anger, as she felt like she was humiliated once more. A voice inside her head spoke, and she knew this voice well, and it guided her...
"They will fear US. We will show them." It said in her head ominously, as she narrowed her eyes at her arm, as it grew back, but it looked like it was made out of hardened hellfire.
"Not that it's my place, but you don't look so hot there." Roman said.
Cinder could feel her anger almost boil over, narrowing her eyes at Roman, "You have no right to talk to me right now."
"Sorry. You seemed rather friendly back at Vale." Roman referencing their interaction, although he could tell she was condescending, which he assumed that she just always talked like that.
Meanwhile, Team JNPR would be called up by Lionheart to get ready to find Olmotack and help him. Ozpin also had talks with Lionheart about the Spring Maiden being held captive by a gang of bandits in the nearest village. A certain birdy told Oz about it. Jaune however has a bad feeling about this.
"Thank you for uh… Coming." Lionheart seems nervous. "Um, why did you bring your weapons?"
"Um… We're Huntsmen? We bring them everywhere?" Jaune begins to talk with Lionheart, and is confused on why he is so nervous when they were planning for this. But Pyrrha felt something off. She senses something. Or rather someone. Then she noticed a dark bird in the room. Just then she aims her gun at the bird. "Show yourself!" This startles everyone. Just then the bird flies next to Lionheart and turns into a grown woman in red and black, and a white helmet.
Nora was surprised. "How did she… Do that?"
The woman unmasks herself, looking awfully like Yang but with black hair and red eyes. "If you're gonna shoot me, then shoot. That was insulting." She said to Pyrrha.
Jaune was startled. "W-What is this?"
Lionheart would shake his head. "Ozpin… You really shouldn't have included kids in this…" Revealing he is on Raven's side and was working against them.
Oscar and the others would be shocked to hear what is going on. "Wait… What?" Jaune letting out his confusion. "Mr. Lionheart, what is going on?!"
"I..." Leonardo Lionheat feels even more nervous.
Raven however interrupts him. "He's doing what any sane person would do: assessing the situation and making a choice. You kids are naive, so I'll make this easy for you. There is no beating Salem. So don't make this harder than it should be, and stand aside."
Jaune would be unsure what to say, he is not put on the spot and the only grown up they have is stuck inside a boy. But Pyrrha would speak up rather than him. "You have the Spring Maiden… Don't you?"
Raven would scoff. "You seem to know more than any normal student would."
Pyrrha begins, "You can say that. But after being in contact with the Fall Maiden, I felt a little… Closer to them… You can say." She holds her head, still remembering the pain she went through during the transfer process.
Raven begins to put the pieces together. "What did Ozpin do to you…? He was that desperate, wasn't he?" Pyrrha looks away in almost shame. This made the dark clad killer chuckle. "And you chastise me for simply getting away from him? Maybe you should follow my example. Not that they ever taught you about me."
Pyrrha then shakes her head. "No! People were hurt, and few died! We should be working together instead of fighting against each other! Why can't you see that it's better to not give up to the darkness?!"
After hearing Pyrrha's plea, Raven can't help but sigh. "You just don't get it. You either do as she says..." She then brings out her sword, which gets everyone on edge. But she merely cuts open a portal, "... Or she makes you." Then a figure walks through said portal.
A figure ominously walks into the room through the portal, slightly raising his head, as a gleam of purple shines through the White Fang wolf mask of the unknown assailant. He wore dark clothing, a black cloak, with a black button up shirt, black pants, and black shoes. He brings out his weapon, a halberd, making Juane hypothesize on who it is, but would keep it to himself for a short while. Two other figures would enter as well… The Emerald haired girl, and a gray haired boy. JNPR knew them as two of the assailants on the Attack of Beacon.
As they were about to engage, Raven would hear commotion from outside, as Irad's soldiers were preparing to storm in and take down Lionheart and Raven. Raven would groan, as she knew she and Lionheart would have to deal with it...
"Let's get this over with." She coldly said.
Team JNPR would get ready, only to hear a commotion from another room. The door gets kicked open, revealing a large tanned burly man who looks pissed. Now things look grim for the young team.
The masked Olmotack would hold his halberd out to block Raven and the others from going ahead of him, stopping them from proceeding further, suggesting that he'd deal with the young team himself while they dealt with the soldiers.
Team JNPR would get defensive. Raven sees this is her chance to get what she came for, so she is not gonna waste any time. Until..."Raven!" She stops, then turns around to see a crow enter the room. Everyone would glare at it until it transforms into Ruby's uncle Qrow. "That is as far as you go..." He looks pissed, himself, as Raven looks apathetic.
"So many surprises," Emerald remarked, annoyed.
Nora would be more confused. "Uuuuuh, what's going on here?"
Jaune refocuses on Olmotack. "I don't know, but he looks like he has that lady covered."
Oscar would get nervous, seeing how out of his league he feels. Although it makes it worse that this burly man is glaring daggers at him.
"The White Fang is preparing demolition. No one is getting in or out." He is determined to make sure this operation is done. Now they are trapped.
Qrow was glaring at Raven, but then focused on the cowardly headmaster. "You..."
"Q-Qrow! I… Didn't think you would-"
"Shut your hole! I've been told that you had info of every huntsman and huntress in every kingdom. And you gave them all to… Her..." Jaune's eyes widened. He knew exactly what he was talking about. "I couldn't find any of them, because you let her kill them."
"Save your breath, brother. We don't have time for melodrama." Raven speaks up.
Qrow then grabs his sword, which turns into a scythe. "Running away is one thing, but this, you crossed the line."
Raven brings out her own katana sword. "Sorry brother, but I guess family disappoints you like that."
Qrow's eyes squint. Now intent to finish her off. "We're not family anymore."
Raven continues looking in apathy. "Were we ever?" And in a split second, they are already clashing blades at top speeds, going outside. And just like that, Olmotack walks towards JNPR.
"Here he comes!" Jaune warns his team as they stand ready.
(Battle Theme: Masked Dedede Remix! Kirby SuperStar - Extended! /watch?v=qSi1HKC9MvM)
He flips his halberd, then slams the hilt to the ground, creating an ice barrier around them. He'd then charge forwards at blinding speeds, and cut at Pyrrha, who managed to block, as Olmotack weaved from another attack, and Olmotack would ferociously and precisely follow up.
Pyrrha was caught off guard as she tried to gain her barring's. She could tell he's dangerous, so she tries to outlast him as long as she can while dodging. Which with his speed, she would try her hardest. She would then notice his next strike is a stab through her chest, as everything slows down on her point of view. Out of panic, she uses her own magnetism to move herself out of the way, but would hit the icy walls hard. Olmo slowly walks up to her to finish her off. Only for Nora to blast herself upward and over the ice walls, and dives down to smash her hammer towards her enemy that's fighting her friend.
Olmotack would block the attack with the sturdy handle of his halberd, and send her back, as he went into position, and started spinning, holding his halberd out to become a spinning blade, as he moved around like a top to try to cut up anyone in his path. The young team would jump out of the way, but it wasn't over. Olmotack would let go of his halberd, as it would spin, hitting and bouncing off walls, as JNPR struggled to ensure they kept their heads and limbs. A small piece of hair would be cut off Pyrhha's head, as she nearly avoided being cut in half by the flying weapon, before it would find its way back to Olmotack's hand, which he was holding over head, and he would spin in the air, raising the halberd up, before slamming down to send waves of ice spikes.
Jaune regroups his team. "Come on, all at once guys!"
Ren starts first, as he focuses on his martial arts skills to dodge all of his attacks, as Pyrrha dashes in to attack him while Ren handles him. After he kicks both of them away, Nora shoots her cannon towards him. As the explosions create pink mist. Before Olmo could react though, Jaune rushes in and hits him with his shield, hitting him straight to the face.
Nora jumps up to hit him next with her hammer this time, only for the masked man to grab Jaune by the face, then chucked him towards the flying Nora, and the both crash down.
Olmotack stumbled back, as a piece of his mask fell. When he slowly turned towards them, they saw Olmotack's face. His eyes were gleaming purple, as he roared out in anger, becoming more hostile, as the world around them began to contort, as he was bending reality. He'd then attack with more ferocity, teleporting and opening portals that had ice spikes jut out to try to impale them.
Ren shoots his guns, and his enemy would block, which Pyrrha now has the advantage and takes initiative, unleashing everything she has, moving fast with her sword and shield. Putting more and more pressure. Making sure he doesn't have the chance to do any of his strange abilities. JNPR would then be thrown into the ceiling, as gravity was reversed, with Olmotack charging, and Ren evading. Pyrrha knew they had to take down Olmotack without killing him, as she could tell he wasn't in control.
Pyrrha then had a plan so she would go to Jaune. "Jaune, we have to knock him out somehow."
"What do you think we've been trying to do?" Jaune asks.
The red haired girl nods. "I have a plan."
Olmotack continued with his barrage, as the area began to wobble and tremble as he manipulated the world uncontrollably, and opened many portals, trying to kill his prey, as Pyrrha initiated her plan.
Pyrrha would stand tall. As she would unleash all of her power at once. Something she tries not to due to fear of doing unnecessary damage. But she knows the damage will be if she doesn't. So she would use her polarity ability to her limit and pull all kinds of metal across the room, the building, even the town. Which, the White Fang outside would be startled with seeing so much metal flying everywhere. The metals crash through the windows as Pyrrha forms all of it around her to protect herself. Then she directs them towards the startled Olmo, attending to trap him inside.
While this is going on, Nora would set up a bit of a "man cannon" to shoot Jaune himself towards Olmotack while he is distracted. Despite this being their best plan, he is still worried about it going wrong. Nora, nevertheless, is on board with it.
Olmotack would use his power to try to break through, but would be struggling, and didn't see Jaune coming, and he'd be knocked back. Olmotack stumbled back, then fell limp on his back, as reality and gravity returned to normal, and the objects that had risen crashed to the floor.
Pyrrha would fall on her knees, exerting too much energy, while Jaune was rather shook from the very fast impact. Nora helps Pyrrha while Ren helps Jaune. But Pyrrha doesn't waste time checking on Olmo. "Are you alright?" She shakes him a bit.
He is unresponsive for a moment, until Pyrhha comes close, it is then he grabs her throat. As if on instinct, she would touch his forehead with her thumb, her hand glowing for a moment, as the purple in his eyes dissipated. He'd drop his hand, and he gasped. He looked at his hand as he breathed, making sure this was real. Pyrhha, after rubbing her throat, would ask, "Olmotack…? Is that you?" She cautiously asks, keeping distance this time. The remains of the mask that was on Olmotack's face fell, shattering to pieces, as Olmotack looked at Pyrrha, "Ms. Nikos... I don't feel fine, as I've got a damn splitting headache, and I really need some tea as of now. Man, I am parched!" He states, rubbing his hair. Pyrrha and the others of JNPR breathed a sigh of relief.
Just then, they hear Oscar shouting as he is being attacked by an angry Hazel, and Emerald and Mercury, putting Oscar deep into defensive. With dust crystals stabbed through his shoulders as it powers him. Qrow would leave his fight against Raven to help the boy, going against the two assassins.
Olmotack would rise, knowing what to do, "I'll take on Hazel and them. You take care of Raven. Am I clear?" He said, preparing to fight once more.
"Aren't you worn out from our fight?!" Jaune would state worryingly.
Olmotack snickers, "That was just a warm-up." He says with a wink.
Jaune and Ren would be baffled, while Nora would give him a thumbs up, and Pyrrha nods in acknowledgement. They would notice Raven and one of her bandits go underneath a statue that leads to the relic. Quickly they follow them. Leo sees this and was about to blast them with his weapon, only for Oscar to strike him with his cane in anger. Despite being thrown around, he still made sure his new friends were safe. Olmotack would soon join in the fray, assisting Oscar, who at first seemed hesitant of Olmotack, but Ozpin assured Oscar that Olmotack was a friend now.
"You must be Oscar. Mr. Ozpin said a lot about you. You seem like a bright boy… We have much to discuss, you included, Ozpin, sir." He'd look at his opponents, it was a three to three battle, as Leo had run away after seeing the new contenders. Olmotack would prepare himself, flipping his trusty halberd, "Well-well... This ought to make things interesting. Well, Chillwave, it seems we were fighting for the wrong side for a while… Let's change that now." He says, very much pissed he was mind controlled.
Meanwhile, Raven is in the elevator not noticing Team JNPR on top of her. Once the elevator trip stops, Raven and her loyal minion, Vernal, a small girl with shaved hair, depart from the lift. As Raven and her minion walk around the vault room, it looks more like a serene area with a flashy looking tree and petals flowing everywhere, and a giant golden door that no doubt holds the relic they are looking for.
JNPR would be in awe of the area. Jaune however gets them to stay quiet. (mostly Nora) Although, the two invaders would stop and look at each other. The young team wonders if they know or not. However, Vernal would blast her blade gun towards JNPR, confirming their fears as they dodge.
Team JNPR land down and get their weapons ready. Raven would look down on the ready to fight huntsmen and huntresses who were dragged into this war. "You've got to be kidding me. You four children?"
"Well someone has to stop you." Jaune replies.
Raven would chuckle. "You have no idea what you're in for."
Vernal smirks. "You won't have to do anything. Let me handle these jokes."
Jaune gets ready to fight, only for Ren to speak up. "Let me and Nora handle her."
"Ren?" The team leader was confused to say the least.
"Raven is the clear threat, and you and Pyrrha are the best when you guys are a team. Let us handle her to make sure she isn't a problem." Ren lets out his logical plan.
Jaune was still worried though. "Are you sure?"
Ren nods. "I am."
"Yeah! We're a powerhouse together too!" Nora flexes her muscles.
Pyrrha would speak her mind to this. "We're counting on you guys!" She then focuses on Raven. "Are you ready, Jaune?"
"As I'll ever be! Let's go!" Jaune said.
Jaune and Pyrrha would dash in to fight Raven, who effortlessly dodge their attacks. All the while, Ren and Nora fight Vernal, who is surprisingly skilled for someone who lacks semblance, as she displays little powers compared to the two members of JNPR. Even would kick both of them, sending them down. Ren could see she is hardly breaking a sweat, while Nora is mostly mad at her overconfidence. "Nora, wait!" She would shout out as she tried to smash the bandit.
Pyrrha takes on Raven, which the older fighter would overpower, which Jaune tries to attack when Pyrrha gets struck down. With little metal around, Pyrrha tries to catch Raven off guard with her polarity and weaponry. Although there are a few hits from her shield, Raven would use her portal to strike her with her own shield. Jaune tries to take her, which out of pity, merely parries them easily until she just judo throws him down.
Jaune would move close to Pyrrha. "You alright?"
"Yeah."
Raven would scoff at them. "Vernal! Move quickly so we can get this over with."
Pyrrha notices something coming out of Raven. An energy unique to everyone. This is where it hits her. "You're… The Spring Maiden… Aren't you?" This gets the invaders attention.
Jaune was confused. "What?! How is she..."
Pyrrha explains. "I don't know… I just… Feel it..."
Raven would walk a little closer. "What did Ozpin do to you?" Knowing he has something to do with this, and how she was meant to be the next Fall Maiden.
Pyrrha would get up on her feet, not going through being on her knees in front of an evil Maiden again. She is going to stand proud this time. "What he did was desperate. That much is true. But I'd rather go through the worst kind of pain if it means everyone is safe."
Raven looks in anger. "So, you're willing to die for fake peace?"
Pyrrha on the other hand is apathetic disappointment. "Better than living a meaningless life."
Raven grits her teeth, she is ready to kill this brat. But just then a blade almost hit her eye. She panics and jumps back. Jaune almost had her. Her heart raced, and her eyes widened.
Jaune and Pyrrha stand next to each other and their weapons at the ready. "We gotta strike her hard and quick!"
Pyrrha noticed how convicted Jaune looked, and is very proud of him becoming a leader she knew he would be. But now all she would do is acknowledge his order. "Yes!" She nods with a smile.
Nora would be sent flying down by Vernal, as she begins to yawn. "Can't you scrubs give me a challenge?"
Ren would check on her. "Nora, can you stop running towards her with no plan?"
"But that's all I know at this point!" Nora frails her hammer on the ground in anger.
Ren tries to think of something. Then he felt something. Vernal's emotions and aura. She feels loose, and completely unguarded. Also how she lacks a semblance. She's only naturally gifted. This would get Ren an idea. He would put his weapons back and walk up to his enemy.
Nora was confused. "Uh...Ren? What are you doing?"
"Trust me. I got this." Ren said in his usual dry way.
Ren would breathe in then out. Then goes to his martial arts stance. Vernal looked like she didn't care. But just then, she would smirk as she puts her weapon back and would get on her own stance. "Make this fun for me kid."
Ren would close his eyes and would sense the area. Truth be told, Ren would focus on more mental training than physical. Semblance is as important as the body itself. So he tests his own personal training, while using his own developing semblance. During his journey with JNPR before going to Mistral, he has cloaked himself and others auras from Grimm and other people who could sense it. Although this is a gamble, at this point, nothing has worked. So Ren is gonna challenge Vernal the only way he knows.
She throws a punch, only for Ren to anticipate it and dodge. As if each move Vernal takes is in slow motion in Ren's point of view. As if his semblance is telling him what will happen next, and he merely reacts to everything in slow motion. Vernal is beginning to get annoyed, which was perfect timing for him to strike. As he ducks down on Vernal's roundhouse kick. He sees her blind spot and puts all of his power on his right hand. Hitting Vernal on the gut with his palm as pink energy explodes down Vernal's stomach area, causing her to throw up saliva. Raven was distracted when she heard her minion losing, giving Pyrrha and Jaune a chance to attack. Striking her with their shields and slashing her aura into ribbons, as Raven's defenses dwindled little by little.
Vernal would jump back to grab her weapon, but just as she starts to aim at the enemy that frustrates her, she would get smashed down by Nora's hammer all of the sudden. Ren would be surprised by the suddenness of the act. With Nora being happy that she finally hits her.
Raven would feel tired already. But seeing Vernal beaten was the last straw. "You want a Maiden..." She flashes red flames over her eyes. "You got it!" As she rises up and unleashes freezing winds all over her, as Team JNPR is almost overwhelmed by her might.
Back in the academy, Olmotack glares at the burly Hazel. He looks back in annoyance. "Get out of my way. This is between me and him!" Hazel points at the hurt Oscar.
He stands defiantly, "I'm afraid I can't do that… Now then." He takes a stance, "If you really want him… You'll have to kill me." He says with determination, "Which, I doubt even the likes of you can achieve."
He begins to snarl like an animal and begins to run like a wild animal which Olmotack jumps out of the way and behind a wall. Hazel, still in his bloodlust rage, rushes towards him. Olmo jumps again, which Hazel crashes through another wall. Hazel checks to see he didn't stop at one wall, but just about three walls until he realized he missed.
This is where the young fighter brings out his own weapon to actually start the fight. Hazel would look unharmed. The crystals over his shoulders are powering him up, although the way they are stabbed through them should put him through agony. This could only mean that he can't feel pain. So he keeps this in mind as he readies the fight. However he notices Hazel bringing in two more crystals and puts him around his shoulders as well, giving him more of a surge.
He whips and spins his halberd around. Hazel stomps the ground, breaking it apart with major cracks and spikes like splinters. Olmo jumps out of the way and fires an ice blast that freezes his feet and arms. After a roar, he breaks himself free. Both of them rush to each other which Olmo quickly slides down and slashes Hazel's lower stomach, then slices upward through his back, which he didn't flinch at all. Just as he turns around, Olmo switches his dust from ice to fire, then shoots his cannon straight to his face. He jumps back and sees him stumbling. He may not feel pain, but he can be blinded.
Hazel would swipe the smoke away, as he growled even more. Olmotack would then rush, switching back from fire to ice, then he would stab him with the spear tip of the blade, and slowly freezes him from the inside. Just then through sheer will, Hazel grabs the halberd, pulls it out while breaking the ice then throws Olmo towards a wall. He slowly approaches him, "Tell me..." His voice echoes due to the power surging through his insides. "What are you really fighting for? Is it justice?" Olmo would add in even more ice on his halberd's ammo. "You oughta know more about the one you are fighting with."
"I fight…" He rises, "To protect the innocent… To do what the Lord commanded of me… I fight so that one day, all men, women, children, can look forwards to a brighter future. One where the likes of yourself are destroyed… And I will not rest until I have fulfilled this duty."
Hazel would grit hard. "Then tell me this. If you are protecting the innocent, why join a murderer like Ozpin?" Olmo slowly stood up, but kept his weapon on his back. "Or… He never told you, didn't he?" He raises a brow.
Oscar, after downing Mercury with a swift kick to his face, would begin to walk towards Olmotack and Hazel. "Hazel!" The burly man turns around to see the boy he was attacking originally,
"Did she know? About the dangers of being a huntress?" Hazel asked.
Oscar would focus on Olmotack, knowing he is out of the loop on this. "Gretchen… She was his sister. But she died during her training as a huntress. But… If it was her choice to go through the danger then..." He couldn't finish, all he could do was see both Olmo and Hazel's reactions.
Olmotack was silent for a moment, before saying, "Becoming a hunter or huntress has many risks… Every hunter or huntress would know. Even I knew when I was personally trained under Ozpin… She chose that path she desired, and it wasn't Ozpin's fault for her death. He did what he could to teach her and protect… But I wonder, Hazel. Would she really want you to do this? What would she see in you now? Do you really think she'd be proud of who you 've become? Would she see you as her loving brother? Or would she see a man consumed by his own darkness, becoming one of the monsters she swore to destroy, when she became a huntress?"
Hazel wasn't expecting to be lectured by him, but his rage for his sister being taken from him overwhelms their words and now he could only rage out and turn his attention towards Oscar, however this would prove to be Olmotack's chance to aim for the crystals all over his arms, and freeze them from the inside, then completely shatter them, with Hazel's arms being now driven cold and limp. He didn't feel the pain, but he couldn't move them, much to his shock.
Olmotack held the blade of his weapon at Hazel's throat, "Hazel Rainart, you are under arrest."
He growls in anger, but this time couldn't do anything. "This changes nothing. There are bombs around this area outside. Your victory over me means nothing!" He said out of spite.
Olmotack narrows his eyes, "Yeah… Your sister would be disgusted." He'd exclaim, then looking at Oscar, "What do we do?" Olmotack asked.
Oscar would look nervous. "Uuuuh… Ozpin? Any ideas?" He asks the spirit inside of him.
"Gonna have to think about this."
"I don't think we have time!" The boy panics.
Meanwhile outside, the same red haired extremist named Adam Taurus brings in the order.
"Tonight, Haven falls!" He shouts out loud and proud.
"Adam!" He stops once he hears a familiar voice call his name. "Stand down!" He looks up to see his former partner Blake standing on top of one of the house roofs.
Adam's soldiers raise their guns at her. "Wait!" He stops them, wanting to talk to her. He starts to laugh, "To think I went through all of this trouble to find you. Only for you to deliver yourself to me."
Blake would stand her ground. "This isn't what's right for the faunus! Stop what you're doing and we can end this peacefully!" She begs to her fellow faunus.
"You're wrong Blake, and you can't stop us." Adam said.
Blake would sigh, almost defeated. "No, I can't." Only to raise her voice in conviction, "Not by myself!"
Just then Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long walk right next to her. "This isn't a war between humans and faunus."
Just then Adam and his men look to their left to see Ghira with the citizens of Menagerie with him. One of the White Fang would also notice their close friends are a part of the resistance as well. To add more to the pressure, Kali calls out from one of the ships that entered the area. "Adam Taurus. Lower your weapons and surrender peacefully."
Everyone inside Haven would notice the sound of a ship from outside. Inside the hanger, Irad stood, and would jump down.
Irad would land behind the team, then would step up to stand with RWBY, holding his cane, as he gazed upwards, as Irad's soldiers joined the fray as backup. He would then turn his attention to the terrorist leader, "I recommend you listen, Mr. Taurus…"
Adam would look shocked, as his men looked worried about their chances. Blake would walk next to Irad, along with Weiss. "It's over, Adam."
The red haired extremist looked a little defeated. "Then it's over for all of us." He then brings out a controller with one single red button, Adam's men begin to panic as he presses it.
Irad smirks, crossing his arms, as Adam pressed it again, and found that nothing was happening. He'd push the button again, then again at a faster pace, before Irad spoke, "We picked up bomb signatures, and we were able to disable them… Really, I knew you'd make such a pathetic move." Irad said with a satisfied grin.
Adam backed away, startled by this. Just then one of his men began to speak up. "Dude! What were you trying to do, kill us?!"
Just then, a pissed off Adam grabs him by the shirt and shouts at his face. "I am making them PAY FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE!"
He laughs, "You fools… Do you really think he cares for you after what you've seen? The White Fang has become corrupted… Have you not noticed your brothers and sisters being mind controlled by the dark figure? Have you not noticed any of them who dared take those drugs changed for the worse?" Irad looks to Adam, "Mr. Taurus knows… He's made deals with a demon, that is for certain… Adam would much rather sacrifice the lives of others, including yours, to fulfill his twisted desires…" Irad looked again to the other members, who were thinking, and he would appeal to the scared White Fang, "Join me, join our cause, redeem yourselves, as it is not too late. I can promise a better world than what Adam could ever muster. He may not value your lives, but I at least do. I may be a human… But I stand for peace between both Faunus and Humans. No more fear, no more oppression. I can show you a better path! Just like how the White Fang was supposed to be: to unify both races peacefully, so all of our children and grandchildren, little boys and girls, can live in a better world!"
Adam would then focus on Weiss next to him. "You… You dare lecture me when you have a Schnee next to you?!"
"She's carved her own path. She is the kindest, most brIlliant girl I've ever met." He clenches his cane tighter, "Just because her father or whatnot has done you wrong, doesn't mean it's her fault- nor does it give you the right to commit such atrocious acts! The only thing you've done is let those that put you down win. You've allowed them to overpower and corrupt you. You've become one of the very monsters you despise! Open your damn eyes, Adam!" Irad's guards prepare to step in and take in Adam. They have already detained Hazel during the confrontation between Irad and Adam.
Adam would grit his teeth in rage, as Blake continued the notion, "It's time you give up, Adam… You are surrounded. And you know deep inside he's correct."
He would boil in anger. "You're wrong!" He rushes to attack Blake.
Irad would narrow his eyes, as he crouched, then used the tip of his sheathed cane sword to push him back. Adam, while trying to recover, would then be electrified by Irad's own soldiers who used their staffs, and he would be paralyzed for the moment, before he too was cuffed. Irad would just tower over him, "Hm. It ends here, Adam. Once we bring in Nightmaratack and Torchwick, it will all be over." Adam would spit on Irad's pant leg. Irad would just raise a brow, before waving a hand, "Gag him, and take him and Hazel away to the Remnant authorities. Ensure he is kept under lock and key, and watchful eyes." He looks down to Adam, who was seething, before Irad said, "Maybe, one day, you'll find it in your heart to change…" He said with a hint of pity. He'd sigh, turning away, Weiss looking at him as Adam was forced up and being led to a police vehicle.
Ruby and Yang walked in to check on her faunus friend, "Are you okay?"
The Faunus member of Team RWBY would sigh. "I will be…" The idea of this person she followed for years is processing. Weiss would hold onto her shoulder to support her friend. The faunus, from the White Fang to the Menagerie citizens watching a Schnee supporting Ghira's kid. This gets everyone mumbling on how big this is.
Irad would speak to the remaining members that remained of White Fang, as they were being detained by the police of Remnant, "Let this be an example to the rest of you. You will get your chance of redemption soon, if you truly wish. I hope you make the right decision, based on what occurred today." Soon the prisoners would be driven away, with this new thought. Irad would walk back to RWBY, resting his cane, as he'd begin, "My apologies for creating a scene."
Ruby would smile cheerfully. "No! You did enough!"
Weiss would smile too, however she notices Haven Academy. "There's usually something going on inside during these invasions." Recalling what happened in Beacon.
Irad would narrow his eyes to the academy, as he motioned for his soldiers to go towards the academy. Internally Irad would say, "Damn it… I hope things are alright… Especially with those maiden things." He says, looking on.
