Chapter 7

90 minutes later:

Me: 'Well, now it is time to get on with the main event, I am glad I was able to convey to and convince Kami to stand down from the fight'

Flashback 5 minutes ago:

As Kami in Shen's body and Piccolo stand across from eachother Kami once again looks at me and we maintain eye contact for a few moments.

Me: 'C'mon Kami, you know you don't have a chance in this fight, just leave before you become collateral damage'

Having seemingly heard me, Kami used Shen's body to look down before falling to the ground limp.

Me: 'Smart man, at least he knows when to rely on his pupil more in this timeline, maybe my meeting him has done more help than harm'

Little did I know however, was that he was leaving not from having more trust in goku, but because he sensed the power I was surpressing and that I was stronger than his evil counterpart by over threes fold.

Announcer: "WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO SHEN,? THE FIGHT HAS ONLY JUST BEGUN AND HE SEEMS TO HAVE GONE UNCONSCIOUS! IS THIS A NEFARIOUS TRICK DONE BY MAJUNIOR TO TAKE OUT THE COMPETITION EARLY?!"

Agitated by this accusation, Piccolo sneakily remarks back

"This has nothing to do with me, I may be the reincarnation of the devil himself but I still have honour"

Just then Shen, now in control of his own body, slowly stands up and proceeds to be completely confused and unintelligible, forcing the announce to call the match as the fighter was not of sound mind to fight.

Flashback End

Me: 'And here we are, the big match, one of my top 5 fights in the entire series. I wonder how the two finalists stack up against each other. Scouter'

!Scouter activated!

Piccolo Power Level: 325

Goku Power Level: 380

'Hold it, why is Goku so much stronger than he should be, he shouldn't be THIS much stronger than Piccolo, he should only be at like 350! Did me telling Kami to trust in Goku get him to train him harder or something? That doesn't make sense because why wouldn't he train goku to his max in the show... unless he never really believed in goku in the first place and Kami killing himself was his original plan if Goku couldn't do it so either way Goku would be the Gaurdian of earth!'

Announcer: "AND NOW LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THE FIGHT WE HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR BETWEEN THESE TWO AMAZING FIGHTERS WHO HAVE NEEDED LITTLE EFFORT TO PUT DOEN THEIR PREVIOUS OPPONENTS, LET'S SEE HOW THEY FAIR IN THE FINAL MATCH!"

Me: 'This may be a short fight without piccolo holding Kami hostage'

Piccolo and Goku stand across from each other, with looks of intense concentration on their faces, thinking out a way to destroy their opponents. For Goku, so he can be known as the best fighter on earth, and for Piccolo, so he may rule the earth.

Suddenly they both rush forward in a flash, and in an instant they meet in the middle, knee against knee and elbow against elbow. Goku then tried to throw a right hook around the elbows which Piccolo meets with his own fist to once again bring them to a stalemate before Piccolo swings his arms to the sides which causes Goku's to do the same, leaving him wide open. Piccolo, trying to capitalize on the opening he made, immediately comes in with a right cross jab though unfortunately for Piccolo, Goku manages to catch it firmly in his left palm.

Soon, they both explode in a flurry of lightning fast strikes, each pushing for an edge to win the fight early on, which ends up going to Piccolo when he manages to catch Goku's right fist in his hand and lands a heavy uppercut on Goku's chin with sends him flying back off his feet, which Piccolo tries to take advantage of by jumping behind Goku, though, it seems he picked up Piccolos pattern of doing this from watching Piccolo fight Krillin as he immediately kicks behind him which catches Piccolo in the chin and almost sends him out of bounds, however piccolo lands on the edge and in a flash they are exchanging strikes faster than the normal eye can see which ends with Piccolo stretching out his arm to grab at Goku, but goku evades it and catches Piccolo's wrist between his ribs and his tricep. Goku then uses his hold on Piccolo to throw him into the sky

Goku then fires his hand forward making a kiai which hits piccolo right in the jaw, sending his head shooting up which goku tries to take advantage of by jumping into the air to close the distance between him and Piccolo, but it seems to not have affected Piccolo as much as he hoped as Piccolo quickly rights himself mid air and fires a quick blast that sends Goku right back into the ground, which is followed by another and another before it becomes an endless storm of ki blasts raining down on the ring.

However, it doesn't take long for Goku to get back up and keep fighting like nothing happened. Both, now face to face on the ground once again, charge at each other and meet in the middle of the fighting arena, both suddenly surrounded by a yellow lightning and a dense air which seems to make it difficult for them to throw the first strike, though that on exchange seemed to disperse the dense energy as once again they are back at it throwing dozens of strikes in the blink of an eye.

The exchange of attacks ends in a grapple, each pushing against the others hands to show their superior strength to the other. Piccolo, trying to take advantage of Goku not being able to use his hands, feeds ki to his eyes for eye lasers, but Goku, seemingly seeing this a mile away, ducks and plants both his feet into Piccolo's face, which sends him a good distance away. Piccolo ended up grabbing Goku during this exchange and let his arms stretch with him as he flew away from Goku's latest attack and used his arms to twist Goku around to disorient him, and then slam him on the ground.

Goku quickly springs back to his feet and vanishes in a speed on another level from before, after a few tense moment of Piccolo searching for where Goku may appear, with a yell Piccolo throws his elbow back and hits Goku in the cheek on the left side of his face, causing him to smash into the wall beside the arena.

However to Piccolo's surprise, Goku, seemingly unaffected appears behind him and sends a full powered kick into Piccolo's face, which sends him flying and while he recovers fast, very quickly stopping his momentum with a cartwheel, Goku is too good, and has already appeared behind him and proceeds to pick piccolo apart with a vicious series of combinations that Piccolo was not ready to take on.

Me: 'Sorry piccolo, those sayian genes are about to fully adapt to your level of power and technique. Won't be long now until you are finished'

Seemingly having heard me, or at least begun to understand my thoughts on his own, Piccolo proceeds to throw a temper tantrum throwing blasts at Goku that are clearly not effective, though does not decide to go into his giant form, knowing it's limitations and not having Kami to lord over Goku in this timeline.

Instead piccolo lands in the ring and they once again charged each other, though this time it seems like both fighters have decided to forgo defence and like amateur fighters are just smashing each other's faces in with no regard for anything besides doing more damage than their opponent.

Me: 'Wow... maybe it's because I am so much stronger in this body and I have honed it and my mind together to be able to fight unlike in my past life, but this is embarrassing, they are supposed to be the worlds best martial artists, not a couple of street bums throwing hands'

And just then the flurry is ended with Piccolo sending Goku through that same walk for what feels like the fifth time in this fight. Piccolo then quickly fires off an energy beam, which Goku quickly jumps over and almost strikes out at Piccolo but quickly something tickles his battle senses and he looks back and quickly jumps as the blast seems to have returned to strike once again.

To the shock of Goku, the blast follows him into the air in a swirling motion. Goku quickly fires a Kamehameha to avoid the blast while he thinks of a way to beat this technique, before shortly after he cancels the attack and lands on the ring floor watching the blast get closer before running right at Piccolo. Piccolo, surprised by this tactic, has no chance to act as Goku runs up into his face with a smile before using the after image to move at the last second as Piccolo's own blast hits him right in the chest.

As the smoke clears, it is obvious that Piccolo is injured, with blood running down his arm and various burns across his torso.

Me 'if he had been 99% of fighters we know of in the multiverse this fight would have been over here, but the great thing about being a Namek is being able to heal from nearly any injury, he will lose a good chunk of stamina here but this fight is not quite over yet'

And as I predicted, smirking, piccolo stands up straight and with a scream of pain he rips his own arm off and then quickly regenerating a new one to take it's place. Then, gripping both his arms together over his torso, he powers up a massive amount of energy before throwing his arms out and letting the energy lose, which results in the entire island being glassed, leaving nothing but rock in it's wake. The audience, excluding the main characters of the show and myself, all being wiped out in a moment. Luckily, the main cast nor I and my disguise were damaged from the blast.

Me: 'Here it comes, the greatest combo ever thrown in OG Dragon ball, I bet it looks even cooler in person'

As the smoke fully clears, we all see Goku, no worse for wear, arms crossed in front of him to absorb the attack for him. Goku powers up, which scares Piccolo and I hear him say "Uh oh, I think this is gonna hurt!"

Goku smirks and says "heh, yeah, a lot!"

Goku then enters a runners stance similar to an Olympic athlete and dashes off at a speed never seen before on earth. Piccolo throws up a hasty sloppy Hurd which Goku has no trouble getting around, leading his attack with a right elbow to Piccolo's left cheek bone. What happens next is truly a butchering of an opponent. Goku continues his attacks with a barrage of kicks to the abdominal area, shoulders and face before landing a heavy body kick to his ribs followed by a dozen more in a moments time to his body again then ending the kicks with one to Piccolo's face.

"HHHYYYAAAAAH!"

And to finish it off, Goku hits Piccolo with a dirty uppercut to He abs so hard he is lifted of the ground. Piccolo, absolutely destroyed physically and mentally, falls to the ground so limply you'd think he was already a corpse if you couldn't sense energy Goku, not satisfied, jumps into the air and floats and cups his hands behind his back and says

"Ka"

"Me"

"Ha"

"Me..."

"HAAAAA!"

Goku throws his hand down, and like the namesake of Meteor Combination, the Kamehameha comes down on Piccolo like a comet. A massive explosion occurs that lasts several minutes. When the smoke eventually clears, we can see Goku summersaulting to slow down his fall to the ground before landing and exhaling slowly. When the smoke is completely gone we can see piccolo laying in a hole in the ring.

Anouncer: HOLY CRAP, GOKU JUST LAID DOWN THE MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS ON MAJUNIOR, I THINK HE IS DONE FOR BUT I WILL START THE COUNTDOWN NOW!

"1!"

For a moment it looked like Piccolo went to move but he barely twitched and grunted before laying still again.

"AND 10! SO THAT MAKES SON GOKU THE TWENTY THIRD MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPION. HOWEVER WE WILL HAVE TO MAIL YOU YOUR PRIZE EARNINGS AS THE CHEQUE WAS VAPORIZED IN THE BLAST!

'Yep, just as I figured, the power gap was bigger than it was supposed to be'

Just then Kami appears and goes to kill Piccolo, but I don't pay attention to that as I know he will not be killed as Goku won't let him, instead I pay attention to my Quest

!Alert! Quest completed! become World's Strongest!

!Reward granted! One King Gemma Fruit!

'And with that I take my leave, this is where the real fun begins!'

Sorry for the long wait on the chapter, I was super sick and being homeless and sick really don't go well together, I was sleeping 20 hours a day and barely staying awake during the other 4 hours of the day until today.
