*Days ago…*
A dark figure roamed close to the Great Tree… Curious Cat grew intrigued by it ever since it stepped foot into this realm, sensing great power… Perhaps, it thought, it could use the body for its own plans… The Curious Cat followed silently as the figure trudged on. It may as well introduce itself to this person, and perhaps lead them on.
"Well hello, stranger. You must be new here." He said with his usual whimsical tone. He noticed immediately how ominous this figure is though. "I don't see your type around here, usually."
The figure breathes heavily, the face being hidden from view under the cloak. Curious Cat continues, getting a bit closer.
"Um… Not much of a talker I see..." He begins to feel a little danger, as it turns its attention towards the feline, "That's fine. I… Can give you a tour around here. You won't have a better tour guide than me, after all." He chuckles with pride, only to slowly turn into a nervous laugh.
The figure gets even closer… And Curious Cat backs away a bit, "Um… You're getting a bit too close-" It was cut off, as a drippy tendril wrapped around it from the figure's arm.
" r…" The melted form stated, as it opened its mouth, sharp toothed and inhuman. The embodiment of chaos struggled in its grasp, but the liquid spread on its body, keeping it in place.
"S-stop! Y-you- AAAAAAAAGH!" Curious Cat screamed, as its body was slowly absorbed into the figure, absorbing its form and power. The figure yelled out, feeling the power of chaos course through. The being would then look to the tree, and shuffle onwards, as darkness spread with each step like a virus, warping the area around. A laugh would then be heard, and Neopolitan's scream would be heard, and Ruby jolts awake with a cold sweat… What did she just witness? She didn't know… All she knew was that it was Nightmare… And it was quite possible he has that curious cat's magic Irad warned them about.
Ruby was tense, after witnessing what felt like a nightmare. "Mom?" She turns to her mother.
"Ruby?" Summer checks on her daughter.
"Mom? I… I don't know what happened. But I had a weird dream."
Summer pats her head again. "I guess that's bound to happen in a place like this."
Ruby was unsure. "I don't know Mom..." She felt it was too real for that to be the case.
They would feel the train stop, and they would see they were almost near the tree. Soon the old man came into the passenger car, "This is as far as I can go… Are you two ready and rested?" He says, and they both stretch. It was a refreshing rest after dealing with large scale foes for a while, and with the rest, they feel ready for whatever comes at them.
Summer stood up, feeling ready. "Yeah, we should be. Thank you for everything." Ruby still feels uneasy.
The old man nods, and walks up to Ruby, and smiles… As old as he looked, he seemed like a nice man… She could see wisdom and kindness in his eyes… She almost felt a familiar presence about him, as if she knew him, even before they met.
"Have faith, and stay strong. The journey before you is perilous… But I assure you, you will make it out, child." He says, patting Ruby's shoulder. Something about the old man made her feel like all the weight she's had over the years lifted, and she felt happier. Summer would sense this, and smile as well, as it seemed infectious. "Be safe, and good luck." The old man said, leaving Ruby and Summer alone to traverse the rest of the way to the tree once they exited the passenger car.
Summer and Ruby walk together to get to this tree. The forest seemed relatively normal (for the dark world they were in), but there is a sense of an ominous feeling. Being close to their main target, it's to be expected, but both huntresses continue on, although they'd progressively go faster, not wanting to delay this any further.
They see a barrier make itself shown as they approach. They look at it for a moment, and Summer touches it, only for it to shatter in an instant… Before them was a large opening in the tree. Dark veins covered the entrance… They began to slowly approach. Suddenly, they were jumped by a grimm looking creature, an abominable combination of a Manticore and Sabyr. Summer brings out her Sundered Rose while Ruby brings out her Crescent Rose. They start attacking in sync, their speed allowing them to slash at the hybrid in many directions in quick succession. The monster reels back, and would fly up. Some of its spikes were cut off, but it would blast fire at the two huntresses. The two scatter, with Ruby speeding around the monster's vision while Summer shoots at its face. Although Ruby is at risk of being shot, Summers' vision is excellent enough to know where to shoot. The beast roars, being sent to the ground, and it tries to scramble to get back up, leaving it open for a finishing move for the two huntresses. The two don't hesitate, and speed towards the face of the beast, and they both slash at it as deep as they could together. They decapitate the beast, and its head would roll. Its corpse would then begin to melt, and start flowing back into the tree…
They follow the small stream inside, and notice a large gaping hole that leads down a pit. The inside of the tree was covered with black and purple veins, pulsating with dark energy, as if it were a virus sucking the life out of the tree. It smelled like death in there, and Ruby cringed from the smell… They saw natural platforms that seemed to lead deep into the hole. Summer is fully on guard. But also as calm as she can be. She looks at the more spooked Ruby and gives her an assuring nod. They descend further down, being careful where they jump. The darkness was illuminated by the glowing purple veins that littered the walls. Suddenly, one of the platforms they jumped on crumbled, and they fell for a while, but were able to slow their fall with their weapons, and landed safely. Once they recovered, they looked and saw a towering clear cocoon in a wall… Summer widened her eyes, seeing the upper torso of Salem, in a slumbering state, and the rest of her body seemed distorted behind her.
The motherly huntress would slowly walk toward her former enemy, "Salem…?"
She remained in a sleeping state, and when Summer got close, she stepped on a vein that led to the cocoon. The torso of Salem would flare to life, and the eyes open to reveal dark holes… She would then bust out of her cocoon by force, revealing her hideous body…

She towered over 50 feet. Her skin on her torso was sickly gray and pallid, purple pulsating veins covered her body. Her lower body was a twisted fusion of tentacles, gnarled roots, and jagged spikes. Limbs would be attached in many places, some with pincers, some being dragon heads, some claws. Ruby and Summer stared in horror at the awakened Dark Grimm Queen, and Salem would make a deafening roar, shaking the huntresses to their core. The Dark Grimm Queen then went to attack them. One thing they knew… The true Salem was gone. Both girls run off while the Queen chases them. Summer and Ruby shoot her to slow her down, but it doesn't seem to be working. They decide to instead load the special dust Irad gave them… They've used a lot on the other lords, but they could see they at least had enough for this fight. Ruby cocks it inside her gun and then fires it towards the Queen's face, causing her to stop and yelp in pain. She recoiled back, then a gem on her chest began to glow, and black vines rose from the ground and attacked the two huntresses when Salem raised her hands. Ruby and Summer dodged and weaved, cutting through the vines. Thanks to Ruby's upgraded Crescent Rose, every cut she made burned the vines with holy magic. The Dark Grimm Queen would then raise her large body up, and crash it down, making debris fall down on them. The ground trembled from her weight crashing to the ground. Summer was blown away, she quickly morphs her guns into ax mode and sticks to one of the large debris to flip herself until she lands on her feet. She jumps around the flying debris and starts using the special ammo to swing herself closer for a mighty slash.
She raises one of her grimm clawed arms, and blocks, but it would be cut clean off, and she would then have one of her vines grab Summer's legs and throw her back. Salem would then scream out an ear piercing screech, halting Ruby's counter attack, and sending her back as well. The arm that was cut off began to grow back, but was smoking.
Ruby lands on her feet. She looks up with determination as she swirls around again and dashes towards Salem at full speed. She then slashes at her face with her eyes beginning to glow, but not quite outwardly be unleashed. But there was a white trail that came out of her slash.
Salem would reel back in time, but her left eye was slashed, and she screamed out. Tendrils would go after and follow Ruby, and the arms that had dragon heads on them would spew fire. Ruby would flip and use her semblance, then cut off one of the dragon heads, leaving a blue scorch mark where the limb was. Summer would cover by firing many shots, singeing Salem's skin and weakening her. The grimm queen was beginning to grow weaker, and she would begin to summon grimm to attack and aid her. They rose from the inky skin around Salem's body, and charged for the huntresses, each having wings and sharp claws. They would spew poison from their mouths, attempting to kill the huntresses by any means.
Summer would grab Ruby as she led her out of danger. They would then blast the witch with their best ammo. This time though, Summer jumps in closer and unleashes her Silver Eyes towards Salem's face.
She covers her face, and reels back in pain, and Summer would sink her ax into Salem's chest where the crystal was. Salem screams out in pain, as black blood begins to spew onto Summer, as she pushes the ax in. Salem struggles to raise her arm at Summer's face, malice in her eyes, and Summer's own eyes beaming from the silver eyes. Summer would be blasted back by a rogue grimm, her weapon in hand, and Ruby dispatched the grimm before it could make another attack, and Salem stumbled back, clutching her dripping hole in her chest. Her body would begin to be encompassed by the black substance that was already all over her body, would encompass her form and shrink…

Her form seemed otherworldly, her human torso gone, in turn for a humanoid translucent body. Her otherworldly body radiates from Violet to a dark purple, her eyes glowing a bright red. She floats in the air, with Ruby and Summer staring in awe. Her body visually radiated a black energy. Behind her was an orb that shifted constantly with white and black, and it orbited her. She had no mouth or nose, and her hair was tendrils that would gently flow. She would make a loud sound that resembled a roar, and she went onto the attack.
Both Summer and Ruby are startled by this transformation, but quickly get to work on dodging her attack. Summer and Ruby tried to attack the Grimm Queen, but she would weave and dodge, and her orb would transform into a dual scythe and spin at them, going from side to side. Summer and Ruby go on the defensive, blocking the weapon. Salem waved her arms down slowly, making everything slow, and Summer and Ruby moved as slow as a snail. Salem would then charge at Ruby, thinking she was the weaker link, and would shape her hand as a spike, but a force would speed up Ruby's movements to block any strike Salem attempted to make at blinding speed, despite Salem slowing down time. Summer would then be charging from behind, but she would be sent back by the blob when time returned to normal. Ruby and Summer would blitz the Grimm Queen at high speeds, making her go into the defensive, and turning the tables in their favor. With their silver eyes, and the dust within their weapons, they knew they could defeat Salem once and for all. Ruby and Summer loaded in another vial of the special dust in the air, flipping over from each side of Salem, and they both struck down, but was blocked on both sides by Salem who made dual scythes. They struggle, trying to bring their weapons down, but the dark queen herself is about to overpower them. Until both Huntresses shine their Silver Eyes, until it completely covers Salem.
She goes to one knee, but she would use her hair-tendrils to create distance between her and the huntresses. Salem would fly up, and would hold out her hands. Soon a rift would open, and strong winds would blow into the rift. Ruby and Summer felt the winds trying to suck them in. They plant their feet as deep as they could, trying to power through the wind. Ruby quickly goes into sniper mode, aims at Salem's head, then fires. Salem would tilt her head slightly, making the shot miss and enter the rift… But the rift would then suddenly implode, then explode due to the unstable combination of the unholy and holy magic, creating a large explosion and sending Salem crashing into the wall, leaving her open for an attack. Summer sees this as her chance as she bursts her silver eye energy towards the downed Salem. As this happens she dives down to stab Salem with all of her power to it. Salem blocks the attack, keeping Summer back, with Summer glaring and gnashing her teeth… But what Salem forgot was the red hooded Ruby. Ruby quickly came in with her silver eyes, and before Salem could react, Ruby impaled her chest, piercing the core within her. Salem looked down, and would fall to her knees, and Ruby would slide out her Crescent Rose, as Salem fell motionless… The two would breath heavily, recovering from the battle. Summer was impressed with her daughter, and patted her shoulder,
"You did it, sweety! You did a wonderful job!" Ruby would smile and giggle, happy to gain her mother's praise… It was then they turned and saw the orb that had been around Salem go towards the center of the battlefield. It would splash onto the ground, and it would begin to form a doorway… It was a tall doorway, made of bones and black sludge.
"This can't be good." Ruby would say as Summer walks closer to it, but as cautiously as she can.
They'd both walk through the doorway, and they would be transported into a throne room. They'd see Neo on the throne, but she looked bound. Neo would look at them, and widen her eyes, trying to move, anything… It didn't process in the huntress' minds until a black presence surrounded Neo, the message was that she was trying to tell them to run. The doorway would close, making Ruby and Summer look, and they would turn their heads back to the throne. Neo jerks and shakes as the presence turned its body into a cloud, and was entering Neo's body through her mouth. Her form then began to change, a slimy tendril-like matter enveloping her body. Soon Summer and Ruby would make out a form, and it would rise… The black substance would recede, and Nightmaratack stood, brand new, as he laughed maniacally,
"Ah- finally a worthy vessel… Perhaps it is weaker than I imagined… But it should suffice for now." He says, inspecting his body. "She resisted for a long time… But soon I was able to break her…" He looks to the huntresses, "Ah- I see you killed what was left of Salem…" Nightmare states, unamused. "She was always weak and pathetic..." He waves a dismissive hand.
Summer backed away, unnerved by Nightmare's presence. "What are you doing here?" Still finding it hard to believe that he is alive, even if the possibility lingered in her head.
The demon smiled. His red eyes observed them closely. "After Irad had destroyed my body… I was so angry at him… At you all… But at myself as well…" He would take Neo's umbrella and observe it, "While I was disintegrating, I had to focus really hard… Luckily, I was able to separate my soul before it was fully destroyed… In addition, I still retained a piece of Salem, so I was able to make myself a temporary-but-unstable form. By pure accident, I was able to come into this realm… It called to me… Walking through this realm made me sick by how… Bright… Things were. But soon, I was able to turn things to my liking… Once I absorbed the entity of chaos." He said, as he finished observing the umbrella. "The body I retained before was- unstable, despite how much power I had. I still needed something physical… And thanks to you, you led me to a worthy vessel." He says, motioning his body. "Now all that is left… Is to extinguish the flames of the Silver eyed warriors…" He would flip the umbrella with his hand, and it would transform into a large sword, and he would point it at the huntresses. "I knew Irad would send the likes of you after me… I counted on it… Now I will kill two birds with one stone." Nightmare sadistically said. "Now then… Let the dance… Commence!" They would stand off for a long moment, anticipating each other's move, before Ruby and Summer started their assault.

Summer starts swinging herself until she does a mighty slash, while Ruby jumps overhead to do a diving slash at the same time. Nightmaratack dodges the slashes, and would counter by taking Ruby's leg and tossing her at Summer. Nightmare would smile menacingly as he casually walked towards them, scraping his sword. They rub their heads in pain after colliding. Summer catches on quickly however, and quickly spins her body around to cut Nightmare's incoming leg.
Nightmare would teleport, and sweep her leg, making her stumble, as he casually kneed her gut, then kicked her back. Ruby would use her semblance to charge, and Nightmare flips in the air, and would send a fireball that hit Ruby from behind, making her roll, and slide back on her feet. Ruby then fires in her sniper frantically, not showing any rest on blasting Nightmare. He sidesteps and dodges each shot. Summer would load another vial in, and would also shoot at him, which Nightmare had more trouble dodging. A lot of smoke enveloped the area, and they would see a lot of clones of Nightmare, and they would each laugh, ready to attack. Ruby and Summer stand next to each other and wait defensively. The Nightmare clones rush on them, but the duo spin their weapons around and block and slice in all directions in sync, cutting down the clones.
Once the clones were dispatched, they looked around for the real Nightmare, only to look up to see Nightmare floating above, his hands raised, before making a down motion, and dark lightning would crash down around the area, trying to strike them. The duo would frantically dodge, nearly getting struck multiple times, and Nightmare would follow up by spiraling down to the ground, engulfing himself in dark flames.
"LET'S, PLAY A GAME!" He states, holding his hands out, and creates multiple large cards, then flicking his wrist to send them at the huntresses.
Summer acts fast and shoots her guns towards him. Ruby would then do the same as they scatter. They would try to strike the cards with their weapons, but they would turn into fireballs and attempt to burn them. Nightmare laughed, as he continued with his assault. He dodged many of their shots,
"This is child's play!" He started, mocking them. Summer and Ruby would grit their teeth. Summer had enough of him, and would dodge a speeding card, and landed on top of it. She would then jump up and land on another one and would get close enough to swing her blade down with furious speed towards Nightmare's face.
He would teleport away, and a mirror-portal would open, and Summer fell through, and another portal opened, making Summer face plant. Nightmare would swing down his sword at Summer, and she would roll away. Nightmare would narrowly block a shot from Ruby, summoning a copy of Neo's umbrella and blocking the shot, but was knocked back a bit. Ruby keeps on shooting to push Nightmare back, not giving him a chance to strike back.
Nightmare grits his teeth, before firing shots from his umbrella. Each shot created an explosion that left behind a dark residue. Ruby dodges side to side, and would get close to Nightmare, and fight ferociously. Soon they would get into a blade lock.
"Your skills impress me, Warrior… But it won't be enough!" Summer came in to assist Ruby, but Nightmare turned to mist, as the room grew dark. A purple glowing figure would fade in and out around them, flipping acrobatically, at times striking at them with a blade, to which they either dodged, or blocked. Summer and Ruby would activate their eyes once more, stunning the demon, and stopping the illusion. Ruby and Summer would follow up, to which Nightmare struggled to counter… They were much more powerful than the first time he met them… Before, he could squash them like a bug… But once HE intervened… Nightmare would silently curse Irad's name, and would curse at himself for not dealing with the warriors sooner. After some time of fierce fighting, Nightmare couldn't keep up with the combined speed of the mother and daughter, and the two joined together to create a large-scale rose petal storm. Nightmare would try to float off, but he would be sucked in, getting struck multiple times, and he fell down to the ground onto his hands and knees. Ruby and Summer came down, prepared to end the demon, but he would push them back using a dark force.

The illusion around Nightmare's body faded for the most part, revealing Neo's damaged body, but still retaining Nightmare's eyes and teeth. Nightmare's sword disappeared, and he would use Neo's umbrella as leverage to get back up shakily,
"You… Idiotic… Humans…" He laughs, "You really are so stupid…" He raises a hand, and Little would be lifted out of Ruby's cloak, and she would struggle. Soon Little would be in Nightmare's hand, as Ruby reached out, and would stare Nightmare down in rage.
"I see the being of light was in your possession…" He smiles, "I was wondering where all
This light energy was coming from…" He says as he inspects the little mouse, as Little stares up in horror.
"L-Leave my friends alone!" Little stated, trying to look brave, and Nightmare laughs,
"There's nothing you can do… Once I kill you, there will be nothing left for the Everafter. The light will be extinguished from this world. And every other realm will follow…"
Summer seethes, "Your fight is with us, demon!" Nightmare would laugh, prepared to kill Little… Only to recoil in pain as Little bit his hand. He looked to his hand to see the bite marks glow white.
"You… Little! What… Have…!" He goes to his knees, as steam begins to rise from his body.
Little scurried back to Ruby's side, as Nightmare continued to groan in pain, as glowing white veins covered Neo's body…
"The vessel… It… Rejects me!" He says, as Neo's mouth jerked open, and a large cloud of smoke erupted, and took form beside her to form a shadowy version of Nightmare's wolf-dragon form… This was their chance to eradicate the demon, the girls thought. Neo's body fell limp once the creature fully formed, and the beast would roar.
Both Summer and Ruby gasp to see this. "Mom?"
"Ruby. That must be his spirit. We have to destroy it!" Summer then shines her silver eyes.
The dragon spews dark flames that scorched everything. Ruby and Summer went into action.
They jump up to avoid the flames, with Summer dashing ahead to strike next. Although as Nightmare anticipates her next attack, she stops herself, and gets out of the way, allowing Ruby to slash at him while using her silver eyes again to make it really hurt.
He recoils back in pain. He would summon large swords that floated around him, and they would attempt to strike at the huntresses, as Nightmare would spew more fireballs to make them panic. This, however, would fail, and they would make multiple shots on the demon. He would roar, as he charged up energy. The wind would begin to howl, creating a dark storm, and Nightmare would rise up, spreading his wings, as he collected more dark energy. Summer fished in her pouch for another vial of dust, but saw that she ran out. Ruby would fish in hers, and sees she has the last one.
"Mom?!" Ruby is unsure on what to do since it's their only hope in success.
Summer however assures her daughter though, "Make it count, Ruby! Follow my lead!" She then leaps towards the enraged Nightmare and uses her shining eyes again, full power. "Now!"
Ruby goes up behind Nightmare and puts the ammo inside her Crescent Rose and clocks it in. She then aims. It's a bit shaky at first, but then a gentle, authoritative, fatherly voice guided her, and she could see what appeared to be a purple core. She carefully aimed, being very calm, focusing all her aura, and fired her shot. The bullet was extremely bright, and powerful, hitting the demon with such force. Nightmare screamed out, as his soul was corroding,
"THIS… CANNOT… BE! AAAAAAAAAAGH!" He yelled out, as Summer and Ruby covered their eyes as everything turned to white, then to black as they blacked out… Ruby would feel herself slipping for a moment.. And she would see visions. Visions of her past… Seeing her mother before she disappeared… Meeting Aiden… Her mother disappearing… Separating from Aiden… Creating Crescent Rose… Her first day in Beacon… Meeting her friends, and most importantly reuniting with her best friend… She remembered one instance she had with Aiden while training together:
"If you want true power, Ruby… Don't look at physical things… Look within…" Aiden had pointed to Ruby's heart, "In there, is the most powerful thing of all… Without it, you are destined to fail eventually."And Aiden was right. All her friends, her family… It all built up to this. All their adventures, all the funny moments… Reuniting with her mother.. She was content. She saw all her glorious moments, saving lives, meeting new people… And Ruby thought to herself that life was good, despite everything. Her thoughts though, would be interrupted, as a voice was trying to wake her up,
"Ruby." The voice called softly, "Ruby." It repeated… "Wake up, my child." The gentle, male voice she heard before said, before Ruby opened her eyes, hearing Little's voice instead,
"Wake up, Ruby!" And Ruby would awaken with her mother and Little standing over her.
Her eyes were half open, but she could see clearly enough. "Mom… Little..." Very much alive, but completely exhausted. She sits up, looking around, and her eyes widen, as the Everafter seemed to look even grander than when they got there, with so much scenery. Little jumps for joy, "We did it! We did it!" She chanted and moved about. Summer smiles, looking at their work… Ruby smiles as well, happy they were able to fix the Everafter. The old man would hobble up to them, smiling warmly,
"You've done well…" He says.
Summer hugs her daughter tightly, "Oh Ruby… Ruby..." She lets out tears, unfathomably happy to see her not only alive, but also saved Everafter. As a mother, she couldn't be any more proud of her own child.
Ruby enjoyed being praised by her mother… But Ruby also enjoyed breathing. Her mother was squeezing Ruby a bit too tight.
"ACK! Mom! Mom!" She pats her mom's arm.
Summer would let go and giggle. "You can't imagine how happy I am… You saved Everafter, and Remnant." Ruby was speechless on her great words.
"I…"Ruby's emotions were too much, so she just jumps on Summer and gives the tightest hug she could muster.
The old man smiles, "Now… I take it you both need to go home, hm?" He says.
"That would be nice, thank you." Summer said with delight, with a hint of begging. It was a rather long day for her and her daughter.
He smiles, "Very well… You have done this realm such a great service… It's only natural I help you get home…" He snaps his fingers, and a pearly white doorway rises from the ground, baffling them.
"How did you- Who are-"
"Do not worry… In time, we will meet again… But I believe you may already know me, Ruby Rose and Summer Rose." He says with a warm smile. Ruby would cock her head to the side, and she would feel a sense of deja vu, as if now that she was thinking about it, the man seemed familiar… Summer felt the same way… But he would wave them off,
"Well… Go on, we've not all day." He says. They stepped forward, but were stopped, "You cannot bring the mouse you named Little with you. She must remain here." He says.
Ruby's smile would turn into a frown. "What?" She didn't want to leave her friend behind.
Summer could tell that this won't be an easy thing for Ruby to let go. "Ruby. This is Little's home."
"But..." Ruby couldn't figure out what to say in defense.
"A being such as Little cannot be separated from her home… Rest assured, you will see her again one day." The old man said, with a reassuring hand on Ruby's shoulder. When Ruby saw into his eyes, she felt her worries begin to recede, and can sense the truth in his words. Tears still rolled down her face, but eventually she would smile, holding Little in her hands,
"Thank you for helping us Little. We couldn't have done it without you." Showing so much gratitude for her little friend.
Little smiles, as Ruby rubs her head,
"You're my best friend, Ruby!" Little cheerfully said, "I had so much fun helping you!"
Summer and Ruby smiled, a bit sad they had to leave this world behind, but at least glad they saved it, and their original home. The two of them would walk through the doorway, and both girls would jolt awake at the entrance where the portal to the central station was… They also saw Neo lying afar from them, cuffed by a guard. Neo was unconscious,
"There you are!" The Ragadol guard said, "This one just fell out of the portal in a flash, even though it was disabled! Granite, you did too… I've apprehended the suspect, though."
Ruby and Summer look at each other, wondering what to think. Neo tried to kill them, although it would be in bad taste to beat her down while she's down. Summer then thought of something. She is usually with this Roman Torchwick person. He isn't around. Suddenly, everything seems to make sense to her.
"She's suffered enough..." This gets the guards attention. "So try not to be hard on her too much." Even Ruby was confused by this, considering the trouble she has done to her team ever since Beacon.
The guard tips his head, and raises a brow, but shrugged, "Very well, Mrs. Rose. Thank you for your work, champions of Ragadol. The Overlord will be delighted to hear the news on your return. May God bless you, always." He said, then turning and carrying Neo out to put into a waiting vehicle to be transported to Ragodol's prison. Ruby would be happy to see how nice Summer is. She didn't know her a lot since she disappeared when she was young. She knew she was very sweet, but seeing her not change one bit from her very distant memories, it makes her feel all kinds of joy. She would hope Neo would not be a threat anymore.
"Ready to go home, Ruby?" Summer reaches her hand to Ruby.
The younger huntress takes it, and holds it tight. "Yeah."
With that, the mother and daughter enter their small ship, and would lift off, heading back for the teleporter for Ragadol… Ruby would look at her watch, which seemed to not work while they were in the Everafter…
"WE WERE GONE FOR 4 DAYS?!" Ruby exclaimed, shocked.
Summer was jolted a bit, but would scratch her chin, "I… Guess time flows differently in that realm." Summer said, scratching her chin.
Thus ends the tale of the Roses… The Silver Eyed Warriors have completed their job…
