Chapter 11
Later that day:
After having grabbed my battle armour in case of emergencies, I made my way to my ship that I had left a short distance away from where I lived. It didn't take long before I was in front of the ship again. For the first time in six years, I once again stand in front of my ship, the very same one I woke up in when I first started my journey in this life. A vague feeling of nostalgia washes over me as I mutter the words.
"Piccolo..."
With that the ship's door lowers from the floor and I quickly hop on it.
"Piccolo"
The hatch slowly raises into the ship once more, now with me being inside the ship. I walk over to the chair in front of the window and sit down and brace myself before for the third and final time I say.
"Piccolo'
And with that, the ship zooms at impossible speeds into space, going faster and faster, being out of the solar system in only a mere minute, quickly leaving me in a room of darkness with only streaks of light from stars I am passing by. With the acceleration having finally ended, I stand up and walk to the back of the ship and lay on the bed I woke up in this world in, soon after a gas is sprayed on me, which makes me feel drowsy for a few minutes before I fall asleep.
4 months later: 1 minute to landing on Namek
'"T minus 1 minute until landing, welcome home"'
I woke up with a start, rising quickly up in the bed, before wincing at how stuff my body felt sitting there so long, I spin to the Sid and let my feet rest on the floor of the ship before standing slowly and raising my arms above my head in a stretch, then leaning forward and down touching my toes and hear some satisfying cracks from my back and arms as I do so. I then walk over to the seat in front of the window once again and sit, waiting for the ship to land. However the ship never slowed down as it entered Namek's atmosphere, and I began to panic as I saw the ground approaching fast and shouted.
"PICCOLO!"
Suddenly, the ship came to a halt just off the ground, and if it weren't for me clinging to the chair, I surely would have been flung out the front window. Slowly the ship hovers the last few feet to the ground of the planet and touched down. Once I feel the soft thin of the ship I quickly stand up and say the phrase to open the door and hop out before closing it again, having been eager to touch solid ground again after that hectic landing.
The first thing I notice when I stand on the grasses of Namek is that it was very quiet, even with my super sensitive hearing I couldn't hear anything besides the lightest of waves of a nearby part of the giant ocean that seemed to cover a large chunk of Namek's surface. The next I notice was how clean the air was. With none of Earth's pollution from humanity's fissile fuels here, the air was smooth and fresher than anything a modern human could have experienced in my old world. And lastly, I noticed that the people I sensed coming to my location even before I had landed, were almost here.
"Seems like I'll be having company soon"
And in only a few moments, 5 Namekians landed in front of me, on guard and seemingly battle ready when they were coming over, however when they landed and saw up close passed the armour I wore that I was a fellow Namekian, they all relaxed significantly.
'Foolish, what if I was evil like Piccolo or Slug were? What would they do then?'
Inspecting the group, they all looked rather strange. One I recognized as the village leader Vegeta will end up killing, one looked normal other than having really large forearms, another was really skinny almost like Togoma from resurrection F and the last one was really short and wide, like he got squished down to three feet tall. The village leader took a step forward to the front of the group and spoke up for the group.
Village leader: "Greetings brother, Lord Guru told us you were coming and we were asked to bring you to him, I assume with how strong you are, you have learned how to fly like us?
Me: 'Well I was going to go that way anyways so this just makes things easier for me'
I nod and the group simultaneously all ignite their aura before flying off and I follow suit a moment later, easily catching up in a blink of an eye. The trip there is short and uneventful. No one spoke and we just watched the land pass us by as we flew and in only a few minutes we were floating in front of the earthly tower that held the home of the guardian of Namek, the wisest Namekian currently known in the show. I turn to the village leader and he smiles and says.
Village leader: "We can go no further brother, only you may speak to father in person"
And with that the Namekians fly away over the horizon, leaving me in front of the the home alone. Slowly I float onto the plate form and stand there a moment, going over my plan here once more before I go to enter home of Namek's leader and father to all Nameks, including me. After finalizing all my plans and backup plans I walk to the door, but just before I go in I see a Namekian that looks very similar to Piccolo does peak his head out of the home and mutter
Nail: "Elder Guru is expecting you, it would be rude to keep him waiting"
I nod my head and quickly walk into the home, anxious to get my business done here and go back to earth. Walking inside, I follow Nail to the right and take the weird non existent elevator up to the room Guru sits in. We walk into the room and Nail takes to leaning against the wall in the far corner, idly observing us. Looking at Guru, he has a brightness to his skin that I did not expect. His eyes were also open and held great wisdom in them.
Me: 'He must not have gotten Ill yet'
Guru turns his head to the left to face me and says in a slow deep voice.
Guru: "Ah, the prodigal child Zanfona has returned. What news has come from earth on the happenings of the son of Katas? Is he well?"
Me 'Is that my name? I never bothered to give myself a name in this world and it sounds kind of cool, I guess I will stick with it. New world, new life and new name to go with it'
Me "I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that he is alive and is the guardian of earth. The bad news is that earth seems to have tainted him and in order to be pure of heart and be earth's guardian. He has split himself in two different entities. One good, the other evil. I plan to return to earth to ensure that the poor soul fixes himself and merges back into one being again, I am just here to improve myself in strength and then I will return to earth"
Guru raises an eyebrow and lets out a saddened sigh before saying.
Guru: "What a shame to happen to one of the only four super Namekians left in existence"
Me: "Four? Besides Katas' son, who are the others?"
Guru: "Well, there is this Kami you speak of, you, myself and Nail here"
Me; 'Damn, so I am one of the rare mutants of the Namekian people as well'
Guru: "So, you say you came here to gain strength have you? What for may I ask? You are already very strong"
Me: "I seek strength because I know that in order to keep peace in this universe you must be stronger than those that wish to harm the innocent of the world, and I want to be strong enough that only I control my destiny"
Guru: "So you are not inherently selfish nor selfless. I can respect your drive"
Me: "Thank you, Super Kami Guru"
Guru lets out a hearty laugh and says.
"There is no need for such a fancy title, you can just call me Guru child"
We both share a smile for a moment before he says
Guru: "I assume you will want to use the dragonballs to gain strength"
Me: "I will take anything you can give me to give me an edge"
Nail leans off the wall in shock and says.
Nail: "You seriously would give our greatest treasure to a man we barely know?!"
Guru: The dragonballs were created to be a reward to be used by champions of our people. While he did not manage to heal the son of Katas, he is going to nurture him to allow him to do it himself, which is commendable. He shows calories and so I deem him worthy of using the dragon balls"
Nail backs down and Guru sits back in his chair and reaches behind him to hand me the dragon ball behind his Chair. He then looks back at Nail and says.
Naik, "I want you to gather the remaining dragonballs"
Nail simply bows and leaves. After a few minutes sitting there, in which time I had started focusing my mind on what I would wish for, Guru interrupted me and said.
Guru: "Child, I would like to see into your mind to see what this earth looks like and how this Kami is doing for myself"
Thinking it over a moment, I nod and he waves me closer and as I walk over i immediately use my illusion skill I had been leveling lately just for moments like this where my mind could be read and walked off all my memories of my old life and all the ones about the gaming system far, far into the depths of my mind where he could not see them and stand in front of the large Namekian as he places his hand on my head and I feel an energy enter my mind and as it looks through my memories before a moment after it started it ended. With a scrunched brow he says.
Guru: "I sense you have hidden memories from me but I sense no malice intent from it, so I shall respect your privacy for now. That being said, the planet earth is a very beautiful place, especially the place you chose to make your home, and your home itself seems to take much inspiration from both earth and Namek. I see why you chose earth as your home. Between the people and the land it truly is magical. Unfortunately my time runs near it's end I feel so I will never see it with my own eyes. And as for this Kami, it is as bad as you say it seems, I trust you will help make things right in him"
Me: "Yes, it truly is a great little planet, and yes, I will make sure that he is healed"
And with that I hear mail call out from outside the home that he has arrived with the dragonballs. I go outside while Guru stays in his chair, being to big and old to come outside anymore.
Nail: "Ok now summon the dragon and get your wishes"
Knowing I can't because I still don't know Namekian, I raise my hands and in normal English I say.
Me: "Come on out dragon and grant my wish!"
Nail deadpans at me and says.
Nail: "You know you must speak Namekian in order to summon Porunga right?"
Me: "Well no one taught me it so you will have to translate for me!"
Nail: "Fine!"
Nail turns to the dragon and says.
Nail(In Namekian): "Rise eternal dragon and grant our wishes!"
With that the seven dragonballs go from flashing to glowing a bright orange, the sky goes as black as night and a beam of light shoots into the air forming a dragon.
Porunga: "YOU WHO HAVE GATHERED THE SEVEN DRAGONBALLS! STATE YOUR WISHES, FOR I WILL GRANT ANY THREE THAT ARE WITHIN MY POWER TO GRANT!"
Me: "Holy shit! That is one big roid dragon!"
Truly seeing him in person was insane, he sat at a solid 600 metres tall, his head seemingly in the clouds. When I said this he glared at me but otherwise said nothing. After gathering my nerves again. I turn to Nail and say.
Me: "My first wish is for a clone of you that lacks and personality and is designed just to be absorbed by me"
The look of outrage on his face when I says this is obvious but he does so anyways knowing Guru will tell him to listen to me anyways.
Porunga: "YOUR WISH IS A COMPLICATED ONE, IT WILL TAKE TIME TO GRANT THIS WISH!"
After a few moments went by before Porunga's eyes flashed red and in a white flash of light by the dragonballs a Namekian that looks like Nail but a much fuller green appears and Porunga says
Porunga: "WHILE IT IS YOUR CHOICE, I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND FUSING THIS WAY, WHEN YOU MERGE WITH SOMEONE, YOU GAIN PARTS OF THEM BEYOND THEIR powers AND TO GAIN THE PERSONALITY OF A SOULESS HISK LIKE THIS WILL ESSENTIALLY WIPE AWAY YOURS IF DONE MORE THAN ONCE!"
However, undeterred, knowing I will not be doing this again, I walk up to the soulless Nail and place my hand on it, and it's energy immediately stuck to mind like spaghetti on a wall, I gave an experimental tug and both of us were surrounded by light and I felt like my entire body was on fire for a few moments before it was all gone and all that was left was me. But I had changed, I felt amazing, my power had grown by leaps and bounds.
!New ability unlocked! Assimilation! Gain power through uniting! The more efficient the ki control the more power gained!

Me: 'status!'

My eyes nearly jumped out of my head. With one wish I nearly pushed myself to second form Frieza level! I quickly go in my inventory and take out my training gear and ask for my second wish.
Me: "I wish for the enchantments on this armour to be able to grow stronger the more I infuse magic in them"
Nail, who had been hawking at my new ridiculous power, eventually came back to his senses after a moment, repeats my wish with no issues and Porunga does the OK sign and says.
Porunga: "A MUCH SIMPLIER WISH, DONE! YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED!"
And with that I take out all of my gear and lay it on the ground including my axe and shield, I then wish for them to be able to heal any damage taken by me feeding energy into the outfit or weapon. Nail relays the message in Namekian and my wishes are done.
Porunga: "YOUR WISHES HAVE BEEN GRANTED! FAREWELL!"
And with that the dragon balls fly into the air before scattering across the planet, the sky lightens up again and normality returns to Namek.
Me: "Alright, that's all I needed from here I guess! It was nice meeting you... Nail?"
Nail, still speechless nods numbly and returns the sentiment. Just as I was going to fly away I hear the. voice of Guru in my head.
Guru: 'Zanfona my child, before you go, come back to see me, I have one last gift for you'
Shrugging, I fly back into the home of Guru and go upstairs once more and stand in front of the most eldest Namek.
Guru: "From the moment I Saw you I I knew you had much hidden potential. And so many enemies you will have to fight, I felt it was only right I made sure you had all that sleeping potential at your disposal to fight at your best. Come here child"
Without hesitation I walked towards the elder Namekian and he once again placed his hand on my head and nothing happened for a moment... before the gate broke, the gale force winds crashed through the home and shook the tower to it's bones, sending cracks through it and nearly destroying it. After a moment I once again looked at my hands and sat in awe of my new power grew many fold. If I had to describe it, it was like I was constipated and just drank a litre of coffee and hit the Oval Office. Like I was walking with my arms and legs tied up. I felt incredible. Checking my power level once more I was shocked at the number.

I was floored to see that number, I can floor amend of Namek saga Vegeta and maybe even the Vegeta when trunks shows up for the first time! I was almost lost in my own power, Guru lifts his hand off my head and speaks again and I shake myself out of my stupor and listen to what he has to say.
Guru: your potential was even deeper than I thought! Amazing! You will do many great things in this world, I know it, no go, go and start your story, create a legend comparable to that of the super sayian, the story of the greatest super Namekian, and you shall be able to tell it in our native tongue as I have imparted the knowledge of it onto you"
Me: "I will, thank you elder Guru!"
With that I almost flew to the elevator, not being used to having so much strength compared to only minutes earlier, but I quickly get the hang of it and fly out the door and towards my ship and the flight that took minutes before took less than a second now. Stopping suddenly and causing a sonic boom as well as shaking the displaced air enough to part the sea and shake the land under my uncontrolled power I descend to my ship and say.
"piccolo"
Like normal the hatch lowers, I hop on it and repeat myself to enter the ship, I stride to the chair by the window and in a low, guttural voice I say.
(In Namekian) "Take me back to a new planet with strong fighters"
Once again the ship shoots off at insane speeds, however I barely feel it this time, having grown strong enough that the G force is barely a slight tugging for me.
"Now the real adventure begins!"
With a wild smirk on my face I watch with glee as the stars pass me by. Deciding to stay up and wait for the day to pass until I land on the new planet and practice my A certain technique I had been working on until I get there.
And that's chapter 11 written and published!
whatcha think of me adding absorption as it's own skill. Let me know in the comments, I kept it equal to canon piccolos level of growth as he went from 75,000-2mil so figured it was fair. Don't worry, it won't become a habit of him doing this, this isn't cell we are talking about after all.
Also anyone wondering where the name came from, I figured because there is a trend in Namekians having names after musical instruments that this would fit well. The name was another name for an instrument I think is really cool called a hurdy gurdy. I thought that would be a super goofy name though so I went with what google said was an alternate name.
