This story is about all of the little moments that Matt and Emily go through.

It all started because of history. When their high school class is taken hostage, Matt makes the foolish choice of trying to reason with the HT. Emily's just there to save all their butts. Alternate Timeline. Language warning. Hints of romance.

It never should have happened. He'd had so many chances, so many opportunities, but somehow he'd still ended up here. Waiting. If only he could go back to yesterday, back before the gun went off, before he was forced to imagine life without her in it.

Emily is sick and doesn't go into work. When she feels better she decides to go see the doctor but takes the bus. Her doctor gives her good news. However she would never reach their appartment again.

A story close to my heart that I've been working on since the show was still on..A different point of view that delves a little deeper into one of our favorite negotiator's life. It's got humor drama family stuff and of course some MnEm fluff thrown in :
