bopdog111: Well everyone this thought had came to me last night which can be interesting turn of events. But first you guys might be wondering what this is all about next.
Ulrich362: I know I certainly am, what do you have in mind this time Bopdog?
bopdog111: Well we all know that the four (five to us) Dimensions of Arc-V are all alternate counterparts of the series they are suppose to represent. New characters, and legendary duelists returning that are vastly different then what we know them to be along with the storyline of those Dimensions never being mentioned from them along with missing characters (we can thank the Xyz Dimension for that as only Kite appears on that). So how this series here we will go through what will happen if the Yu-Boys, Bracelet Girls, and those characters go through the events of the animes. And we are first starting off with Ulrich's most favorite series.
Ulrich362: Oh, sounds fun... so we have the Synchro Dimension's residents joining the events of 5ds? I can see quite a lot of interesting events taking place with that. Oh, and would it be right to assume that once the first four (Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz) are all finished an Arc-V era adventure will take place?
bopdog111: Well hell yeah of course that be coming from all of this happening. It wouldn't be the Yu-Boys, and Bracelet Girls without a trip between Dimensions to see how it all goes through.
Ulrich362: Sounds good to me, well in that case let's get things started. Enjoy the chapter. Oh and for the curious one notable change right away... Yugo and Rin do not immediately know each other.
bopdog111: In Arc-V's story they do know each other however since we will be changing lots of things prior to the Arc-V version of this series here, they won't know each other.
Ulrich362: Exactly.
Disclaimer: We don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! 5ds or Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V all rights go to their respective creators, we only own the OCs.
"Duelists, young and old, professional and amateur alike, it's the moment you've been waiting for. So make some noise for the number-one-ranked Turbo Duelist in the world- Jack Atlas!"
In a large area in the city of New Domino smokes blared at one end before what shot out was a white wheel like motorcycle blaring as they audience all cheered out loud.
This large arena was the Kaibadome, the arena funded by Kaibacorp, and the leading foundation of New Domino City. This young man on the motorcycle is known as Jack Atlas a young man who had once been at nothing, and have barely anything now stands at the top as the top duelist of New Domino City as it's reigning champion. He had to make some sacrifices, and some hard decisions along the way but it was all worth it to get out of his previous scenario all thanks to one card that had been at his feet one day from these people the Topsiders or otherwise referred too as Tops.
He still has that card today even after this long but only keeps it as a memento rather then actually using it in dueling. That be another story for a later day cause now his time as the champion duelist is calling for him.
"As he looks to add to his unbeaten steak today one begs the question, can anyone take this man down?"
While that was being said Jack raced around the stadium on his Duel Runner before pumping his fist. "Let's say we kick this Turbo Duel into overdrive!"
The crowd roared in applause and cheers hearing their hero, the King of Turbo Duels make that declaration.
Meanwhile in a ruined city full of broken down buildings and cracked streets another young man riding a red motorcycle was racing through the subway.
'I'm coming for you, Jack...'
This young man was named Yusei Fudo, a young man, who's life gotten thrown a monkey wrench on due to an event happening sometime ago where the same champion, Jack Atlas, had threatened a fellow Common's life to advance forward to the rank of Topsider. And not only that abandoning all that they fight for the chance to escape, and get out, and stole not only his Duel Runner but also his signature card. He is determined to get back at Jack Atlas one way or another even as it takes him years.
"Hey Yusei!" a sudden young voice called from behind.
Hearing that he glanced back to see a younger boy riding his own Duel Runner racing up behind him.
"Do you think we're fast enough yet? To get to Jack?" the younger rider asked.
This young man is known as Yugo. He had been a member of the Satellites or Commons as it's more easy to refer them as since he was young having been left behind by his parents since he was born almost similar to Yusei, and Jack's case. Yugo is sort of like the little brother of the guys, and he had been trained or practiced with them while owning a really powerful card that can easily best most of there strategies. For his part he couldn't believe Jack would abandon them to get where he is, and one day wants to settle the score with him while aiding Yusei to get his card back.
As for his Duel Runner... true that kids his age aren't suppose to have Duel Runners however he is a special case. That kind of case will be explained later when we get to that point.
"I don't know, Yugo... right now we're still at the stages where we test my runner out if it can handle the speed." Yusei had made his observation so far towards his little brother.
"Still, we need to find Jack and get back at him for what he did to you... you guys were brother and he..." Yugo started clearly getting angrier and angrier just thinking about it as he started speeding up even more causing his Duel Runner to start shaking which Yusei noticed. That was one of the reasons Yugo stayed with Yusei instead of with any of the other guys he grew up with, he had a very short fuse and quick temper and Yusei was always the one to help him keep a level head.
"I know, Yugo, I know." Yusei assured him before telling him. "But we will get him back, and to do that we need to keep our heads on our shoulders. I know it's hard for you but try keeping your head straight instead of running into it, alright?"
Yugo let out a slow sigh before nodding. "Right, you're right Yusei. Still, we're getting closer... it won't be long now." With that they looked towards the end of the wall determined to do what they want to do.
(Cue Theme: Hyper Drive)
Going fast makes me feel alive.
My heart beats in hyper drive.
Do you think you can win?
Only if I lose.
Just let destiny choose.
[Chorus]
I can hear you breathin'.
I can see you comin'.
I can feel the wind.
It's blowing me around.
Take a shot at me runnin' side by side.
It's a blur... as I go by.
[Chorus]
I can hear you breathin'.
I can see you comin'.
I can feel the wind.
It's blowing me around.
See the sun arising.
Fire in the sky.
Greatness thrusts itself into our lives.
Back at the arena with Jack Atlas the MC was still commentating.
"With one warm-up lap left to go the rematch of the century is about to get underway! Will the competition ever show its face?"
While in the sewers in the broken down city Yusei and Yugo continued racing down the halls a man with orange hair wearing a skull designed helmet and a motorcycle pulled up on the track where Jack was waiting.
"And Hunter Pace has finally shown up, eager to regain his title!"
"I'll fire things up." Jack pressed a button on his Duel Runner as a Field Spell appeared on both the motocycles screens.
"Duel Mode Engaged. Autopilot standing by."
"With there Speed World Field Spells activated, the action's about to start." the MC then proceeds to explain the Field Spell in question, Speed World. "Now, for those of you joining us for the first time, let's review the rules of the engagement." The card appeared on a large holographic orb. "Once Speed World has been activated, the only spells a duelist can use are Speed Spells. Normal Spells used for the Master Duels take a backseat from the action." The orb then displayed a chart that seems to have a glowing dot as the turn order increases. "Additionally, a rider's strength is now governed by the Duelist's Speed Counter. The more speed a duelist has, the stronger the move they can make."
Basically from Turbo Duels, they have to rely on this Speed World Field Spell, that changes the duel to where only Turbo Duelists can use spells that have known as Speed Spells, and the more Speed Counters they have during the course of the duel the more spells, and abilities they can use. This makes trap cards more in use from this as Speed Spells depending how the duel goes takes a while to use.
Jack and Hunter both looked on as the crowd cheered for the impending match between the former champion and the current one as a holographic screen with a red light that was lit up and a blue one that was currently off as ten smaller lights began going out one by one.
"Turbo Duelists, countdown initiated. Ready, set, Duel!"
The moment the robotic voice said that Jack and Hunter raced off from the starting line with Jack pulling ahead.
Hunter 1st Turn:
"You're all mine!" Hunter smirked as he drew his card for the first turn of the match.
"Turbo Duel! Turbo Duel! Turbo Duel!" As the duel goes on cheerleaders cheered on ahead as the eager audience watched the match.
"And Hunter has played a powerful trap!" Hunter was shown to have a large flaming fiend like monster above him ready to enact revenge on Jack for defeating him before. "Can Jack Atlas recover?"
Without even flinching Jack took a card before playing it as a yellow glow enveloped him and he smirked. "You've had your fun, but it's time for my victory lap!"
A demonic red dragon appeared above him roaring.
"I'm sure you remember my Red Dragon Archfiend from our last match Hunter. And since you worked so hard to get back here you can have the honor of falling to my most powerful beast again!"
As he said that Jack turned to face Hunter while riding backward.
"Archfiend! Send him back to the junkyard with Scorching Crimson Flare!"
Jack's dragon gathered flames in its mouth before launching them at Hunter's monster, destroying it as his life points dropped to zero.
Almost on cue Yusei's Duel Runner shorted out at the wheel blowing a small explosion forcing him to stop where Yugo notices he stopped, and turned back riding, and stopped where Yusei is examining the damage.
Pulling up next to him as Yusei took off his helmet revealing blue eyes and black where with yellow streaks in it Yugo stopped taking off his own helmet to reveal blue hair with yellow bangs and that he also had blue eyes as he jumped off his Duel Runner.
"Yusei, is everything alright?" Yugo questioned running over before his expression darkened seeing the wheel. "Oh man, that doesn't look good... think we can get it fixed?"
"I don't know..." Yusei checked over the wheel. "The chip we found isn't able to handle the stress it looks to be. We can't advance forward unless we find a chip compatible enough." With that he slowly looks up at the sky.
Yugo frowned doing the same as he closed his eyes. "We'll get there... one day."
Back at the stadium Hunter's Duel Runner had completely stopped with smoke coming out of it as he got off angrily throwing his helmet to the ground.
"And Jack Atlas's unbeaten streak continues!"
Continuing to ride around the track Jack pointed one finger towards the sky. "Who's the one Master of Faster? Who rules the duels? That's right it's me!"
In the sewers Yusei and Yugo were slowly pushing their Duel Runners before they heard what sounded like a TV getting their attention.
"Mr. Atlas, can we get a word? Ever since you burst onto the scene with your first Duel Runner the competition hasn't been able to keep up. Is it the power in your ride that has catapulted you to the number one ranking in the world?"
They walked together seeing three men were watching something from a laptop to where they see Jack on it who answered the reporter's question by snatching the microphone. "Let's get this straight. It's not the power of the runner. It's the rider. I'll take on anyone on any ride, and I'll still be victorious! Any more questions?"
"One more." While Yusei, and Yugo parked there runners beside the tents, and checked on the condition of Yusei's they overhear the interview going on. "Do you have anything to say to those out there who dream of one day challenging you?"
Yusei suddenly revved his Duel Runner's engine getting the attention of the three men as they looked over.
"Yes, bring it..." Jack started to answer as the tallest man with a blue bandanna looked up and waved as they turned the screen off.
"Hey Yusei. Yugo." he mentioned noticing them.
"Sorry about that." apologized the shortest of the there men while he rubbed the back of his head. "We would have watched the duel somewhere else Yusei honest, but the cable we rigged couldn't stretch any farther."
"Jack was amazing as always." the blue haired man wearing glasses shrugged over with a small grin.
"Nervin, zip it, would you?"
"What? What did I say, Blitz?"
"They don't want to hear about how amazing Jack Atlas was."
"Oh, sorry."
While the bandana guy, Blitz, and the glasses guy, Nervin, argued Yusei, and Yugo were checking on a small laptop the condition of Yusei's Duel Runner while he moved to grab some tools over, and Yugo moved to help him.
"Only one person should be sorry."
Yugo nodded from hearing Yusei starting before finishing it for him. "And that person is Jack Atlas."
"Right." Blitz couldn't help nodding agreeing with them. "He still owes Yusei for what he did."
"Got that right." while not taking his eyes off the Duel Runner, Yusei agreed over.
"So, where have you, and your brother been, Yuse?" the last guy who is known as Tank had made the question wondering what the two were doing, and what had happened to the runner.
"We were in the tunnels, testing a new acceleration chip." Yusei answered while working on the repairs to his Duel Runner.
"So are you gonna tell us if the new chip worked out or what?" the short man asked curiously as Yugo looked over in annoyance.
"Does it look like the chip worked Tank?" he questioned before sighing as he looked to see if he could help Yusei.
"I guess not." Tank sighed leaning back in a chair. "Although hey, your other runner looked great on TV."
Yugo's eyes widened as he turned to Tank with a angry glare. "The one Jack stole right?"
"Tank!" Blitz pressed a hand on Tank's hand who brushed it off.
"Just trying to make our friend feel better is all." Tank defended himself to point out. "That is Yusei's Duel Runner. I mean, if it weren't for Jack double-crossing these two, and stealing Yuse's ride, Yuse would have been giving that interview." He then looked rightly angry. "But because Jack got all famous with Yuse's Runner, all the fame, fortune, and glory are Jack's now."
Although that was a sore subject, Tank's reasoning does provide some truth. The runner was made for Yusei to use to one day advance forward to the Tops, and all stick together as close as they can however Jack put one of there friends in danger forcing Yusei, and Yugo to try rescuing him which allowed Jack to steal the completed Runner along with something else that belonged dearly to Yusei.
"Tank!" Blitz snapped.
"What?" he questioned at that before they heard someone running as they looked over to see a skinny boy with long red hair and a yellow hat with a mark shaped like a small yellow triangle under his red eye running up to them.
"Yusei, Yugo! Hey, you two down here!?"
Overhearing him they looked seeing the boy running over with a big grin.
"In here, Rally." Nervin greeted with a raised hand.
"What's up, little buddy." Tank smiled over to his friend.
Rally only smiled over real excited. "Wait till you see what I got for Yusei!" He ran over towards the two eager to show what he got.
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"
"Because you always have bad feelings..."
While Nervin, and Blitz chat that Rally dig in his pocket before presenting what's in his hand to Yusei. "Check it out! A skylon-30 Acceleration Chip!" Surprised Yugo, and Yusei checked seeing a small chip that looked brand new. There is no doubt this is really one of the best acceleration chips that normal Duel Runners have to have them advance, and be at the speed that Yusei's Duel Runner needed to be at. Although Nervin, Tank, and Blitz do look a bit suspicious seeing how fresh the chip looked.
"That's a skylon?" Nervin questioned suspiciously looking at it. "Aren't those incredibly expensive?"
Grabbing Rally's hand Blitz looked at the chip. "It looks like its never been used, don't tell me you stole this!"
Pulling his arm back Rally turned away. "I didn't steal nothing! It was just laying on the ground in broad daylight... maybe someone dropped it."
Tank, Blitz, and Nerving exchanged a glance hearing that.
"Rally you shouldn't have taken what doesn't belong to you." Blitz scolded.
"You know how things are here." Tank added. "Nobody leaves nothing just lying around."
Rally started trembling as Nervin traced the triangle on his face. "If they saw you they'll track us down and mark us all."
"Easy Nervin." Yusei stood up walking over, and held a hand out. "Rally, let me see that." Rally softly placed the acceleration chip in Yusei's offered hand which Yusei looked before turning back to the Runner. "This is just what I needed."
"You can't use that, Yuse." Nervin looked worried rubbing his head as Yusei moved to install the chip.
"You've got to make Rally take it back." Blitz almost looked to be against Yusei's decision.
"I knew you'd like it! I knew it!" Rally for his part looked ecstatic he managed to help Yusei with his own Runner's trouble. "After managing to find a chip that Yugo's own ride can handle, I doubled my efforts to find one for you, Yusei! Will it make you faster?"
"Absolutely." Yusei replaced the old chip with the new one to get it started up.
Hearing that Yugo suddenly frowned and looked down uncertainly. "Hey... Yusei?"
"What is it Yugo?" Yusei turned over to him curiously.
"I know that... I know what Jack did affected me too and that you've been helping raise me since I was just a kid but... have I been holding you back?" Shaking and starting to tear up slightly Yugo asked him. "You guys all spent so much time working on my Duel Runner... but if you didn't maybe you could have focused on yours instead. Maybe you would have already gotten to the city and to Jack... you'd have Stardust Dragon too..."
Yusei couldn't but frown having been as close to Yugo's guardian like Jack, and two other friends of there's. Yusei was always so undeniably selfless and always helps people even if it doesn't benefit him. When they founded a chip, and a old Duel Runner chassis, Yusei's first instinct was to rebuild it, and remodel it for Yugo after discovering that it was too small for him to ride. He would've made it bigger but ultimately decided for Yugo to have it rather then him. That was one birthday party to remember to where Blitz had to tell Yugo several times the Runner isn't going anywhere when he appears to be closely attached to it.
Yusei for his part knows that Yugo is feeling like he's holding Yusei back as he is more focused on Yugo's runner earlier then his own, and although Yugo asked him to teach him how to engineer like he does, he told Yugo it's dangerous to work with but promises to teach him when he's ready. And of course, his own Duel Runner, can only hold so many people so the added benefit of Yugo having his Duel Runner will save some room for him when they make it to New Domino. Duel Boards are for goods but there aren't any available so they resigned to Yugo getting his own Duel Runner.
"Yugo, I had remodeled the Runner you have cause I wanted too. You wanted to be a Turbo Duelist like we are but without Duel Boards that be a long time before it happens so I decided to remodel what we got for your sake." Yusei laid down an honest thing for him. "I would've decided to keep it for me to use but I decided it be better if it was in your hands. It takes longer but it's worth to see you have a smile from it."
"But it's not worth it! It's taking so long and..." Yugo started before just frowning as he looked down and nodded. "I'll do whatever I can to help Yusei, I promise."
Nodding Yusei gently ruffled his surrogate younger brother's hair as he put the chip into his Duel Runner.
"You know, if that chip will make Yusei's Runner go faster then maybe he shouldn't return it." Tank pointed out.
"Tank!"
"What?" Tank turned to Blitz annoyed to being called at for the third time while Yusei successfully installed the chip.
"We know how you, and Yugo feel Yusei, but I think it's time to bury the past, move on and forget about Jack Atlas."
Yugo turned to Nervin looking angry. "And what forget that he put Rally's life in danger!"
"I'm not saying that!" Nervin raised his arms to defend himself. "I'm just saying it's not worth all this trouble to head, and get back at Jack when he's all like this, and resorting to having a chip like that to get to where he is."
"But Jack also took Yusei's best card, remember, Nervin!" Rally pointed out over to Nervin that Yusei has another reason to get back at Jack otherside from him taking his original Duel Runner.
"And you remember Jack's in the city, and the people over there don't take too kindly to those of us from the Satellite." Nervin reminded over to Rally.
"Yeah and?" Rally questioned. "In case you forgot sometimes you gotta stand up for yourself!"
Nervin sighed gently pushing Rally back. "Yusei, us Satellites should just stay put."
While working on installing the chip Yusei answered. "Jack didn't stay, so why should Yugo or I?"
"Let him go bro, don't risk your freedom for some wheels and a card." Blitz pointed out only for Yugo to glare at him. "I think Nervin's right, it's time to put the past in the past."
Hearing a beep they looked before Yusei out of curiosity revved up the Duel Runner where it let out a loud sound which amazed everyone while Yusei softly rubs the Runner. Rally himself grinned large cheering. "Wow! Now that's what I call power!" Yusei nodded in agreement as Rally takes Yusei's helmet handing it over. "Take it out for a spin! Let's find out what it can do!"
Suddenly blaring lights shot down at them from a crevice above them startling them all checking over.
"What's that?"
"It's Sector Security!"
"Identification Number AWX-86007, you are possession of stolen property!" was the voice of an officer in a helicopter above them from a megaphone. "Escape is not an option! Your surrounded!"
Everyone turned over to Rally who is looking at Yusei's helmet in his arms looking frustrated while Yugo asked him. "I thought you said you didn't steal anything."
"I didn't! The chip was just lying there!" Rally swiftly reminded over to them. "I promise I didn't steal anything! It's like I said before!"
"None of that matters, Rally!" Yusei stopped Blitz before he can do anything to Rally.
He moved walking to the Duel Runner. "It's gonna be alright."
"So, what should we do?" Blitz wants to know if there is something they can do to get out of this mess.
Tank however just had to point out a reminder. "There's nothing we can do. That mark is like a homing device. It sends a signal to security." Rally traced his mark in frustration wanting to get it off but since it was basically skin there is nothing he can do to remove it."
"I got that covered." Yusei told them while working on something with his Duel Runner as it sent a signal of some kind as above the sewers a screen in the helicopter started to glitch.
"The signal, it's been compromised!" the officer cried in shock.
"I bought you guys a couple of minutes." Yusei mentioned getting on his Duel Runner and putting his helmet back on.
"Where do you think you're going?" Blitz questioned.
"You take the East Tunnel." Yusei answered lowering his helmet's visor. "I'm going to take this chip out for a test drive."
"You heard the man, let's bolt!" Blitz told the others as Rally, Tank, and Nervin all nodded in agreement while Yusei raced off to some stairs and rode out of the sewers.
Yugo looked on worried before he grew a determined look, and moved getting on his own Duel Runner.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing it's too dangerous." Blitz told him.
"I'm not abandoning Yusei, you guys go on ahead!" Yugo called before racing after Yusei as he tightened his grip on his Duel Runner.
"Yugo!"
Rally's call was lost as he exited the sewers following Yusei effectively putting himself in Sector Security's sights.
"Another one?" a rough looking officer was surprised from this before messaging. "We got two runners here, lock on to my signal." He light up his runner as they, the helicopter, and the car gave chase after them.
Noticing Yugo's runner from his eye Yusei widen his eyes. "Yugo, what are you doing?"
"What does it look I'm doing?" Yugo called as he followed him. "I'm backing you up."
Yusei grunted but seeing the officers following they don't have time to argue. "Stay close to me then, I didn't think they pick up this quick!"
"I know, it's weird." Yugo agreed glancing back before frowning. "Look I... I couldn't just abandon you to fight them by yourself, not after what Sector Security did back then... you know that Yusei!"
"I know." Yusei does know the last time they lost one of there best friends, and the incident had hit Yugo the hardest as he was younger. "We will talk about this later though right now we need to get security off the others."
Yugo just nodded in agreement as the helicopter shined a spotlight on them.
"You two on the runners, pull over." the rough looking officer demanded. "There's no use trying to escape."
Hearing that Yusei frowned before turning and breaking down an old metal gate as he and Yugo slowed their runners to a stop as the officers stopped too and the rough looking officer walked over to them. "Remember me Yusei?"
Yusei, and Yugo only stared at at this. "It's been a while since the center. I'll thank Jack for setting up this reunion." He chuckled over before turning over seeing Yugo. "And this kid, who is this? Ah whatever if he's with you he's probably the same boat as you are." He turned back to Yusei with a smirk. "Jack said with the right bait, Rally would lead us right to you. I knew we should've locked you up when you were a kid. Looks like I'll finally got my wish, and you, and Rally off to the facility Jack will have one less thing to worry about." He then grinned over to them going through protocol. "Now tell me, are you two going to make this easy, and come along quietly?"
"We will." the officer looked a little surprised hearing that not expecting them to really come along quietly. "If you can beat us."
The officer started laughing hearing that before looking over with a smirk. "I see you still think you can out-duel Sector Security." He then pointed out over to them. "It's too bad the rules say you Satellites can't carry cards."
"Rules were made to be broken." Yusei answered revealing a deck of cards while Yugo grinned taking out his own deck. "Weren't they?"
As he asked that Yusei and Yugo inserted their decks into their respective Duel Runners.
"Now if we win this duel Rally, Yugo, and I are free to go. No questions asked Trudge."
"The law does not negotiate with..." a second officer started only for Trudge to hold out his arm stopping him.
"And what's in it for me should I accept your proposal?" Trudge inquired with a smirk.
"But Article 4B clearly states that-"
"Well then allow me to clearly state this: Get moving or else."
"This is highly improper!"
"I said move." Trudge does look really annoyed over to the officer. "Or would you prefer to be working on trash detail?"
That seemed to do the trick which made him head back over to the other officers. "Back to command central everyone direct orders." From that everyone but one officer left off.
The remaining officer that has dark sunglasses looked over towards Trudge. "I feel like this is a bad idea Trudge."
"What's life without a little fun 227? Besides if these two are eager to duel against Security let's give them a chance."
The officer frowned before walking beside Trudge. "Alright fine but it's on you if anything bad happens."
The rest of the officers left leaving all four of them alone which Trudge turned back over to Yusei who answered his earlier question. "Well should you accept, and win you'll tell Sector Security to call off their hunt for Rally, and let Yugo go."
While Yugo turned to him stunned Trudge does look annoyed placing his hands on his hips. "And how does that benefit us?"
"Cause I'm gonna say it was me who stole the chip." Yusei answered with unnerving confidence. "And then I tried to flee the scene but couldn't escape your pursuit. A statement like that will probably buff you two up to sergeant."
"Sergeant... maybe that is a reason to duel this Satellite, even with some thrown together cards he doesn't have a chance of winning." 227 smirked before turning to Trudge. "This won't take any time at all."
Trudge only grinned together with him. "What makes you think I accept this offer?"
"Yusei..." Yugo whispered in disbelief hearing Yusei's stake if they lose.
"So what do you say officer?" Yusei inquired closing his eyes calmly.
Trudge stared at him before walking back to his Sector Security Duel Runner. "You've got yourself a deal. Fools." 227 moved to enter his own runner from this.
Yugo, and Yusei moved to the start which Yusei turned over to him. "Yugo?"
"Don't worry Yusei, I'll be fine." Yugo told him before smiling as he looked at his deck. 'Especially with that card.'
"There's a chance we be split when the duel begins. Just remember what we all taught you, and you'll be fine." Yusei stated over towards Yugo.
Yugo nodded as the four of them lined up for the duel.
"Here we go." Trudge mentioned as the four of them lowered the visors on their helmets. "I'll engage the Speed World Field Spell!"
"Duel mode engaged!"
Speed World
Field Spell Card
When a player activates a non-"Speed Spell" Spell Card, they take 2000 points of damage. Except during the first turn of the Duel, during each player's Standby Phase, each player places 1 Speed Counter on their copy of this card (max. 12 each). Also, each time a player takes damage, they reduce their Speed Counters by 1 for every 1000 points of damage they took.
They all revved all taking there hands, and inserted them in a slot on a gauntlet which allows them to view there hands without focusing on riding the bikes.
"227, try to separate the kid from Yusei." Trudge quietly said over to his fellow officer. "I like to handle Yusei myself, and if he's separated from that kid it'll be easy for us to pick off."
"If you say so, but I doubt they'll be a threat even together." 227 pointed out with a smirk. "Easiest promotion ever."
They revved as the countdown started before it ended which they called. "LET'S RIDE!" At that all four shot out to begin the duel.
"So what's the turn order for this tag-duel?" Yugo inquired racing next to Yusei.
Trudge only smiled before 227 moved bumping into Yugo's runner forcing the two to ride in a different direction leaving Yusei, and Trudge by themselves while Trudge smirked to the shocked Yusei. "I didn't say we take you two on at once. While he deals with my comrade, I have you to crush!"
Yusei frowned at that. "You shouldn't underestimate Yugo Trudge."
"We shall see." He sped off.
With Yugo, and Officer 227...
"Sorry about the collision however it be better if I deal with the little shrimp he has." the officer was smirking at Yugo's direction. "So your stuck with me while Trudge handles your friend."
Yugo's eyes widened before to the officer's surprise he grinned. "You shouldn't underestimate Yusei, he can beat that officer just like I can take you down with my cards."
"Try saying that after you deal with me. I have a 100% arrest rate, and I won't let you get passed me." 227 smirked over before turning back to the front to start the match. "Alright no more talk, I'll take lead if your prepared."
Yugo frowned hearing that but just nodded.
"LET'S RIDE!"

"This'll be my easiest job ever." Officer 227 smirked looking over his hand before grabbing a card. "And to start it off will be this! Come out, Warrior Lady of the Wasteland!"
A portal appeared before what emerged was a woman warrior wearing a green leather vest that exposes her abdomen, and a short skirt the same color, and design while having on a black cape having bandages, and shoulder armor on her left arm while wearing green combat boots that is the same design as her skirt, and vest, and wearing a black hat wielding a dagger.

"And with her, I place 1 card down to end my turn." Officer 227 ended his turn already, and turned to Yugo smirking. "Alright then kid try not to embarrass yourself incase you misplayed."
Officer 227's Hand: 3/Field: Warrior Lady of the Wasteland (Attack Position), One Set Card/Speed Counters: 0
Yugo 1st Turn:
Yugo drew his card as Speed World gave him and Officer 227 a Speed Counter.
(Yugo's Speed Counters: 1)
(Officer 227's Speed Counters: 1)
"I won't misplay, but I will start by bringing out my Speedroid Pachingo-Kart in attack position." Yugo mentioned summoning his monster in attack position.

WIND

Machine/Effect
ATK: 1800
DEF: 1000
Once per turn: You can discard 1 Machine-Type monster, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it.
"Then, by sending a Machine in my hand to the graveyard my Pachingo-Kart can destroy a monster on the field like your Warrior Lady!"
"What?" Pachingo-Kart aimed at Warrior Lady before firing which struck her destroying her while Officer 227 scowled. He hadn't expected this Satellite to deal this kind of advantage as since Warrior Lady wasn't destroyed by battle, he can't use her effect to summon another monster. He suppose that this Common has some skill but that was just luck simple!
"Now I'll set two cards facedown." Yugo mentioned playing the cards before grinning. "Now Pachingo-Kart attack him directly!"
Pachingo-Kart aimed as before, and fired a blast which struck Officer 227. (Officer 227: 2200/Hand: 3/Speed Counters: 1 - 1 = 0) "Well I suppose you deserve, SOME credit..." That was before he smirked over. "However kid I'll teach you a lesson soon you won't forget, and to help with that is the trap card, Damage Condenser!"
What rose was a trap card which shows of a glass capsule being held up by machines with electricity, and static building up on it.
Damage Condenser
Normal Trap Card
When you take battle damage: Discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 monster from your Deck with ATK less than or equal to the battle damage you took, in Attack Position.
"As you have just dealt damage, I can send 1 card from my to the graveyard to summon a monster that has the same or fewer points then the damage I was dealt." Officer 227 sent a card to the graveyard as he searched through his Deck. "Ah here it is! BOXer!"
What rose was a warrior seeming to be made from brown cardboard boxes readying in a boxing stance while having on a part of blue 'boxers' around it's apparent waist.
(Attack Position)
BOXer

"Our monsters have the same attack points, so attack me won't help you." Yugo pointed out before glancing at his hand as he nodded. "I end my move."

Officer 227 2nd Turn:
(Yugo's Speed Counters: 2)
(Officer 227's Speed Counters: 1)
"We're still early, so it wouldn't last!" Officer 227 drew before taking another card and placed it on. "And to start is by summoning Command Knight!"
A red armored, gold winged female knight wielding a sword rose up beside BOXer readying.
(Attack Position)
Command Knight
FIRE
Level 4
Warrior/Effect
ATK: 1200
DEF: 1900
All Warrior monsters you control gain 400 ATK. If you control another monster, monsters your opponent controls cannot target this card for attacks.
"And with her all my Warriors gain 400 points!" Command Knight raised her sword as she, and BOXer energized.
BOXer: (ATK: 1800 + 400 = 2200)
Command Knight: (ATK: 1200 + 400 = 1600)
"And just in case you think don't bother! Command Knight can't be attacked if she isn't alone!" BOXer moved standing in front of Command Knight to guard her.
Yugo's eyes widened seeing that as he frowned.
"Now destroy his toy!"
BOXer charged forward readying a uppercut towards Pachingo-Kart.
Yugo braced himself as his monster shattered.
(Yugo: 3600/Hand: 3)
"As BOXer destroyed your monster he gains 1 counter!" One of BOXer's fists glowed. "And now Command Knight your move!" Command Knight jumped up from BOXer charging down to slash Yugo down.
Yugo grunted as the blade struck him.
(Yugo: 2000/Hand: 2/Speed Counters: 2 - 1 = 1)
As they passed each other Officer 227 smirked at Yugo. "No matter how much trash you patch that deck of yours is, it's STILL trash!" He sets card after ending that insult.
Officer 227's Hand: 1/Field: BOXer (Attack Position/ATK: 2200), Command Knight (Attack Position/ATK: 1600), One Set Card/Speed Counters: 1
Yugo 2nd Turn:
Yugo frowned at that as he drew his card.
(Yugo's Speed Counters: 2)
(Officer 227's Speed Counters: 2)
"My cards aren't trash." Yugo frowned looking at his hand and closing his eyes to take a slow breath.
He hears an eager roar in his head which tells him to let her bring it out, and teach this arrogant officer a thing about calling her trash.
'I know, I was thinking the same thing.' Yugo thought grinning. "I'll start with a trap card, Speedroid Dupligate."
Speedroid Dupligate
Normal Trap Card
Banish 1 WIND monster from your GY, then target 1 card your opponent controls; return it to the hand. During your Main Phase, if this card is in your GY: You can target 1 Level 2 or higher "Speedroid" monster you control; reduce its Level by 1, and if you do, Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Machine/Tuner/WIND/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). (This card is NOT treated as a Trap.) You can only use this effect of "Speedroid Dupligate" once per Duel.
"By banishing a WIND monster in my graveyard I can return one card you control to your hand so say goodbye to that Command Knight."
Officer 227 watched in shock as Command Knight was forced back to his hand. With it gone BOXer lost it's boost.
BOXer: (ATK: 2200 - 400 = 1800)
Growling Officer 227 turned over to remind. "You still don't have a monster strong enough against BOXer!"
"Not yet." Yugo pointed out grinning as he took one of his three cards. "Since I don't have any monsters I can summon Speedroid Terrortop."
(Attack Position)
Speedroid Terrortop

"And when I bring out this monster I can add a Speedroid from my deck to my hand."
A card ejected from his Deck which he takes already formulating a plan against this guy.
"Alright, now then since I Special Summoned Terrortop I can Normal Summon my Speedroid Horse Stilts to the field." Yugo continued playing his card as he was grinning.

"When Horse Stilts is summoned I can summon a level four or lower Speedroid from my hand and I'll go with my tuner monster Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke."

Shocked from hearing what kind of monster Daiko-Duke is, Officer 227 turned over. "You have a Tuner Monster!? Impossible..."
"Oh it's very possible officer." Yugo grinned as he closed his eyes feeling the familiar connection to his monster. "Now, level three Den-Den Daiko Duke tune with level four Horse Stilts!"
Den-Den Daiko Duke became three green rings while Horse Stilts turned into four stars.
(LV: 3 + 4 = 7)
"Spread those wondrous and beautiful wings, and strike down your enemies at the speed of light! Synchro Summon! Appear now! Level 7! Clear Wing Synchro Dragon!" he chanted as a flash of light appeared before a white dragon with wings that appeared to be made of green glass appeared roaring above him.

Just then the Duel Runners voiced over. "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon is a Level 7 WIND Attribute Dragon Synchro Monster with 2500 attack points, and 2000 defense points."
"What kind of monster is that? I've never seen anything like it..." Officer 227 stared at the dragon who looks ready to attack him right now since he insulted Yugo's Deck, and to extension her earlier.
"I'm not done, I use Den-Den Daiko Duke's ability from my graveyard." Yugo continued as his grin got even wider. "See, by banishing him I can summon a different Speedroid tuner from my hand or graveyard and I think I'll bring one back from the graveyard."
"What are you talking about, you only have one..." Officer 227 started before his eyes widened behind his glasses. "No!"
"Looks like you got it, I discarded a monster on my first turn and that was my Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice."
A yellow die with the one face being a red eye appeared next to Yugo's dragon.

When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 "Speedroid" monster you control, except "Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice", and declare a Level from 1 to 6; it becomes that Level until the end of this turn.
"Wait so you have been planning to summon two Synchro Monsters from the start?" Officer 227 was stunned from seeing how resourceful this Common is if he had planned this far.
"You got it, but before I do I'll use Red-Eyed Dice's ability. When I summon this monster I can target another Speedroid and change its level to any number from one through six so I'll make my Speedroid Terrortop a level four monster." Yugo mentioned with a grin.
Speedroid Terrortop: (LV: 3 + 1 = 4)
"Now, level one Red-Eyed Dice tunes with level four Terrortop!"
Red-Eyed Dice became a green ring as Terrortop turned into four stars.

This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles: It gains 200 ATK. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 of your banished "Speedroid" cards; add it to your hand. You can only Special Summon "Hi-Speedroid Chanbara(s)" once per turn.
"Now, Chanbara attacks your BOXer." Yugo called as he raised his arm. "Which triggers Chanbara's ability to gain 200 attack points!"
Hi-Speedroid Chanbara: (ATK: 2000 + 200 = 2200)
Chanbara charged forward piercing BOXer which made Officer 227 growled as he took damage. (Officer 227: 1600/Hand: 2) He only then smirked over towards Yugo. "You might think that might give you an advantage but you couldn't be anymore wrong!" BOXer's glowing box vanished as it stood in place. "See whenever BOXer should be destroyed, it can remove it's counter to keep itself on the field, and from that your dragon has to destroy it order to attack me directly only it will use up it's attack! Guess your not really as smart as you think since you failed to see a defense." He then gives thought looking at his face-down. 'And when my turn begins, I can use my face-down, Non-Aggression Area to prevent him from summoning anything to defend himself once, I destroy both his monsters. I got this in the bag!'
"And your the one that failed to take something to account."
Confused hearing that he turned to Yugo. "What are you talking about?"
"My Chanbara's other ability lets it attack twice." Yugo revealed as his monster positioned to attack again. "Now, destroy his BOXer!"
Hi-Speedroid Chanbara: (ATK: 2200 + 200 = 2400)
"AH! You can't attack again!"
His cry was ignored which Chanbara charged forward destroying BOXer, and making Officer 227's field open. (Officer 227: 1000/Hand: 2)
"Now what was that about Clear Wing not being able to attack you directly?" Yugo asked while smiling up at his dragon. "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, finish this duel off with Spinstorm Sky Strike!"
Clear Wing shot up charging winds on her wings before spinning down charging straight first colliding with the officer as he screamed from the large attack.

Yugo wins!
The moment the duel ended his Duel Runner stopped to access coolant which he stopped growling to himself. "Well there goes the promotion... Odds are I'll be back as a Duel Runner Metermaid..."
Yugo just smiled up at his dragon as Clear Wing roared almost as though they could understand each other before he froze. "Oh yeah, I need to go meet up with Yusei and give him the good news."
With that he raced off leaving the Officer by himself.
Ulrich362: Yugo managed to take out Officer 227 with his Speedroids and his ace monster, the Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. She really is a great partner for Yugo.
bopdog111: Obviously he will have lots of restrictions since his Deck is capable of performing Accel Synchro apparently along with one of his Synchro Monsters being a Synchro Tuner. And that one of his Dragons is a Pendulum monster so we will wait until the time those will be ready for him to have.
Ulrich362: Very true, but even without those he has some powerful cards and combos. Hopefully Yusei can pull off a similar win against Trudge.
bopdog111: Well we already know how that is going out.
Ulrich362: True, well see you in the next chapter.
bopdog111: Be sure to review!
