Ulrich362: True, but we haven't forgotten the other ones. Like here where... actually are we showing Yusei's duel with Trudge or skipping ahead to a tag-duel?
bopdog111: I wasn't planning to show Yusei against Trudge since we already know how that plays out.
Ulrich362: Fair enough, that makes sense which means it's time for a tag-duel. How will Yusei and Yugo work as a team?
bopdog111: Well let's find out against a bug duelist.

It had been a few days after Yusei and Yugo managed to defeat Officer Trudge and the other Sector Security Officer in their respective duels. Something that definitely boosted Yugo's confidence that just maybe they could get payback for what Jack did to them. Though Yusei managed to keep him calm by mentioning that he needed a little more time for a plan to get to New Domino City.
And right now the two are speeding together in a treadway to test the limits of the skylon ship that Rally found over from Jack's plot over while Yusei thinks it over. 'You've beat me once Jack, but I learned my lesson...' He remembered back to a day where Jack defeated him when Yusei thought he wouldn't be beaten.
Flashback...
Jack was dueling Yusei while Yugo, Rally, Blitz, Nerve, and Tank were all watching the match. Jack was standing behind a demonic looking monster with one set card while Yusei had a purple warrior on his field and only 200 life points left.
"You'll never win this duel Yusei!" Jack declared causing Yusei to frown.
"You sure are sure of yourself." Yusei replied while Jack smirked.
"Just sure, that I'm gonna beat you. Yusei, bring it on!" Jack challenged.
Yusei narrowed his eyes readying himself. "You got it Jack! Send'em to the scrap heap!"
Quickly obeying the command the warrior with him known as Junk Warrior charges in only for there eyes to widen seeing purple chains are fastened in immobilizing it while Jack smirked from this.
"What's going on!?"
Jack gestured over to his field for Yugo's answer. "It's my trap: Shadow Spell! And with it I'm going to finally put an end to your unbeaten streak Yusei!" He then pointed over making his move. "Now Mad Archfiend, attack!"
The Mad Archfiend shattered a skull in a mouth in its stomach before firing the shards at the chained Junk Warrior destroying it as Yusei grunted while his life points dropped to zero.
"How did I let that happen?" Yusei questioned before punching the ground angrily while everyone watching gasped in shock.
"Did he... just lose?" Rally asked.
"No... no way, Yusei never loses!" Yugo cried in disbelief.
"Well do you know why he lost Yugo?" a shadow hang above Yusei as he glared up where Jack is staring down at him. "Because his Deck has no balance. And without balance one cannot be a complete duelist. But you know that already don't you Yusei?" Yusei glared on frustrated over at this.
(Cue Theme: Hyper Drive)
Going fast makes me feel alive.

At the same time in a much fancier looking city a blonde figure was looking out of a penthouse window.
'Ah, now this is the view that I was always meant to have. Even if I did have to double cross a few friends to get it.' the figure thought. 'Hm, and to think that it was only a few years ago that I was living amongst the losers and garbage of the Satellite.'
Pulling back it was revealed to be Jack who had a red birthmark on his right arm shaped like a pair of wings while holding a card.
'Heh, I'm glad that nightmare is over.'
He then looked at the card revealing it to be a wind synchro monster.
'hm... Stardust Dragon. I wonder if Yusei still misses you.'
"Quite the view isn't it Jack?"
Hearing the voice behind him, Jack turned his head over where one eye sees it was a long silver haired man wearing a gray business uniform wearing a white shirt having a marking on it was standing behind him with his hands behind him. "Still thinking about your days in the Satellite?"
"I'm done thinking about that dump Goodwin." Jack stated over towards him turning back to the view ahead.
"That's good Jack," Goodwin nodded over hearing that. "Because dwelling in the past can sometimes cost you your future. And we've worked too hard to let that happen. Now shouldn't you be focusing on your match this evening-" Jack threw something which Goodwin checked over seeing the Stardust Dragon card had slipped into a Deck on his left.
"I'm plenty focused Goodwin. You don't have to worry about me dwelling on the past." Jack told him bluntly. "Cause if I had my way, the Satellite would have been destroyed years ago."
"I understand how you feel, but the Satellite plays a valuable role in our society." Goodwin mentioned bowing politely. "Everyone has been given a role in life, those from the Satellite exist so that the chosen may prosper. They keep our city functioning, by recycling what the chosen discard. Without the Satellite New Domino City could not exist."
As he was saying that residents of the Satellite including Yusei and Yugo's friends were shown repairing and recycling garbage on conveyor belts.
"Glamorous a role it is not, but a necessary one for everyone's survival. But you know that already, don't you Jack? How silly of me to give a history lesson to somebody who experienced it firsthand."
Jack kept staring off at the view while Goodwin finishes his speech. "Now leave your memories of that place where they belong. It's time for you to make new ones!"
"You're right." While Jack agrees he stared down at the mark on his arm. 'But what if my past comes looking for me...'
Back at the Satellite was Rally holding a stopwatch waiting for something with the time about to reach 3 minutes before hearing some wheels wiring bracing himself from acceleration when Yusei, and Yugo both passed him together coming to a skid stop. Checking over at the stopwatch after stopping the count Rally was quite an awe from how much time is on it. Growing a big smile he ran over towards the two where Yusei, and Yugo were at, "Yusei! That was you, and Yugo's best time yet!"
He shows the time on the stopwatch which is 2 minutes, and 49 seconds.
"You think it's gonna be fast enough for you, and Yugo to get to New Domino City?"
"It better be." Yusei replied raising the visor of his helmet.
"I just know it's gonna work!" Rally mentioned confidently.
"Of course it is, Yusei's definitely going to make it to New Domino City." Yugo mentioned with a grin.
"Well I'd hope you both are right." Yusei nodded over still being cautious that anything can happen while on the road to New Domino. "Time us again." He lowered his visor again for another run staring the runner, and spead off with Yugo quickly following while Rally watched in admiration for the two of them.
Back with Jack and Goodwin...
Jack was looking out over the city.
"Jack, you're a part of New Domino City now. The only links you have to the Satellite are Yusei Food and Yugo, and you can rest assured that we're taking every precaution to keep those links buried." Goodwin stated calmly.
Later on back at the Satellite...
"Okay Nervin, your turn!"
"I'm thinking a cheeseburger with bacon and extra onion rings." Nervin was carrying boxes while working over a food order.
"Ooohooo, don't forget da french fries, and an extra thick milkshake!" Blitz called over throwing in his own opinion.
"Good one!" Tank nearly tumbled some boxes while he followed the two carrying the boxes somewhere.
"Or lemonade..."
Tank shakes his head with a small chuckle from what Blitz added over. "But nothing beats dipping hot french fries into a cold chocolate shake. It really brings out the flavor, oh, I can dream about it." He then turned over while passing by a hallway where three guys were at with smirks. "So guys... ya think we'll ever taste a real cheesebur-AAAHHH!" He tripped over a foot in his way by the middle guy making him fall down collapsing the boxes that was full of discarded junk.
"Tank!" Blitz cried seeing that.
"What happened?" Nervin asked as they dropped their own boxes running over to help him up.
"Ugh... I fell." Tank groaned in pain.
"On the contrary." mentioned a blue-haired smirking man. "It's actually called trip."
"Heh, it looks like he scuffed up your shoe real bad." smirked a man with glasses next to the blue-haired man. "What do you think he should do about it?"
A third man holding up his thumb and index finger started to laugh as the glasses man smirked.
"How about he buys me a brand new pair of kicks and we call it even?" the blue-haired man suggested with a grin.
"I wear a size eleven."
"You'll get nuthin' got that!?" Blitz glared over with crossed arms while Nervin helped Tank up his feet. "Unless you want a bruise to match that mark on your face? It'd be an improvement."
The blue-haired man glared over raising a hand to his mark before raising up smirking. "I'll show you an improvement!" He grabbed Blitz' shirt pulling him close where they glared each other before the aggressor smirked over to him.
"Guys-little help-" the aggressor threw over a punch at him.
Later...
"Ugh."
"All better." Rally was placing some bandages onto Blitz' face from this before he stared over to them. "And here I thought Yugo would be the one to start trouble with bullies."
"Oh really, well maybe explain why it still hurts so much?" Blitz asked irritated placing a hand on his face. "I thought you knew what you were doing Rally. And I guess I did too when I stood up against that bully. Boy was I wrong, I mean they just ran us over."
"I know, I didn't even get a chance to get in the fetal position." Nervin added.
"And now I gotta buy some new shoes for that guy." Tank complained holding his head in his hands.
"Guys come on! Lighten up!" Rally stated over to them to lift there gloomy mood with some news. "Yusei maxed out his Duel Runner!"
"Yeah, like how maxed out?"
"Enough to get out of here." Yusei was busy on his Runner while voicing this over while Yugo is checking over his too.
"Ha! You shoulda seen both him, and Yugo while there runnes speedin' through the tunnels!" Rally told the three excited. "It was like vroom! Then whish! Then schroom!"
"Okay Rally we get it, just don't become a Duel Runner yourself!" Yugo laughed over to joke over to him about the sound effects he's making.
"Oh, I bet it be so awesome if I be a Duel Runner! I be vrooming over the circuit!" Rally already is having big thoughts about that notion Yugo brought up. Then he looked over towards Yusei, "Yusei, are you two gonna go for it tonight?"
"Are you gonna try and get to New Domino City?"
Yusei only smiled and gave a small nod.
"Ah, does anybody aside from me have a bad feeling about all this?" Blitz inquired.
"I do, but that's not really saying much." Nervin admitted. "Because I've always got a bad feeling about everything."
"Yeah, but don't worry guys. Cause I've got it all planned out." Yusei told them as he was making some last minute adjustments to his runner. "I think."
That got their attention as Rally, Blitz, Tank, and Nervin looked over.
Meanwhile...
Trudge, and Officer 227 were with the captain in charge of Sector Security at the Satellite where it was a while after Yusei, and Yugo defeated them both, and to there surprise they didn't get demoted as Jack had expected the two to not be beaten that easily, and instead advised the captain to have the two unable to fight back so instead the captain gave them a new weapon. Two new Pursuit Decks for the two to have in case they encounter Yusei again.
Checking over they see powerful cards like Gate Blocker, Fire Flint Lady, Jutte Lord, and even the Sector Security Signature cards of the Goyo Synchro archetype specifically designed for the Duel Chaser Branch of Sector Security. The Duel Chasers are a class of elite Sector Security officers for bigger threats within the Satellite while those stronger then them such as the Stomptroopers manage the Facility. For both Trudge, and Officer 227 they feel lucky to given a second chase with Duel Chaser appropriate Decks as being Duel Chasers is a small dream of there's. Maybe also getting back at Yusei, and Yugo for defeating them.
"Captain I know you're less than happy about Yusei and Yugo getting away but are these new pursuit decks really necessary?" Trudge asked looking at it.
"I agree, that Satellite brat got lucky once but it won't happen again." Officer 227 agreed. "He'll be going straight to the Facility soon enough."
"Well be it as it may, both of your last performances I'd beg to differ about it." the captain looked over to them sternly. "Now listen up, if I had my way you two would have been handing out parking tickets until you both retire and these special pursuit decks would've gone to Duel Chasers who goes by the book. But apparently Mr. Jack Atlas thinks you deserve a second chance." He then stood up to inform them both. "And when Jack Atlas says 'do something' I do it."
"So what are our orders?" Trudge asked as they pocket there Duel Chaser Decks.
"Find Yusei, and Yugo and bring there Duel Runners in with them." the captain answered over to them. "There are some very powerful people that want them off the streets permanently!"
"Yes captain understood." Officer 227 bowed over.
"And just you two remember there are no third chances with Mr. Atlas. Am I making myself perfectly clear with you two?"
"Yes sir." they both nodded agreeing over.
"They both caught us off guard in our last duels with each other, but next time we will be ready." Trudge promised over.
"And they will be surprised." Officer 227 smirked looking down at his new Deck. "Thank you captain, you won't be disappointed. When you locked onto the chip's signal let us know."
They both turned walking out only for a male voice to call. "Hold up."
Confused they turned to the voice. A man walked over. He is wearing a purple security suit with blonde hair having black boots, and white gloves on walking over towards them.
"Lieutenant Roget, is there something you need with them?"
"Not Trudge specifically captain, just Officer 227." the man known as Roget answered over to the captain. "For I have something that will sure assist him out in his mission."
"Sir?" Officer 227 asked hearing that. "What is it?"
"Call it a brain child Officer. For you see Synchro has been on the rage over where methods such as Fusion, and Ritual are discarded upon." Roget smirked over reaching in his pocket. "And in addition, rarely do either of those two come up which means that the people you, and Trudge are looking for lack such summons. So in addition to your Duel Chaser Deck, I have constructed a special card to assist." He pulls out a card handing it over to Officer 227.
Curious Officer 227 looked at the card as his eyes widened. "This... this is incredible."
"Huh? Why didn't you get something like that Lieutenant?" Trudge is quite surprised to see the card Roget had given to Officer 227.
"Where I am from, we are able to do the card you hold." Roget smirked over. "I'm sure you know how to use it but in case you don't instructions are provided over to your Duel Disk. With it, you now hold an advantage neither Yusei nor Yugo can use, Officer. Be sure to use it against them to gain the full advantage."
"Of course, those two won't know what hit them." Officer 227 smirked.
Meanwhile...
It was night over where Yusei is typing in some keys on a laptop beside his Runner while the others were watching over worried.
"So what's this plan you think might work Yusei?"
"Oh it's gonna work, Tank!" Rally argued over believing Yusei has a fool-proof plan.
"Well, I hope your right Rally." Yusei admitted focused on his work. "Cause if everything falls into place... Stardust Dragon will be mine again, and we'll all be one step closer to leaving the Satellite."
"Yuse are ya sure that card is worth the risk?" Blitz asked over skeptically. "I mean... is that card really gonna make a difference?"
"It's not just a card." they looked to Yugo who is looking down. "Stardust Dragon is Yusei's best friend like mine is with Clear Wing... it means everything too Yusei, and Jack stole him for him to be in New Domino City. So yes Stardust Dragon is worth the risk, you don't understand it but me, and Yusei do, Blitz."
"Yeah what he said! Don't you remember the feeling when you first saw it in action?" Tank grinned over from this. "Cause I'll never forget it!"
Flashback...
TANK: Seeing the Duel Runner Yusei built from spare parts from the recycling center was amazing. Then when Yuse started it up and showed us what it could do it was like a whole new world opened up.
Yusei was on a different Duel Runner as he raced past the group including Jack.
NERVIN: Yeah, and then when he summoned his Stardust Dragon I couldn't believe my eyes, or ears. I mean you were screaming at the top of your lungs Blitz.
BLITZ: Me, you should have heard Yugo... I didn't know people could get that loud.
YUGO: Well at least I haven't lost my voice for a week from it.
BLITZ: Either way it was too bad Jack took away our dreams.
The camera turned over where Jack was with crossed arms staring over coming up with a plan.
End Flashback...
"Well Yusei, and Yugo's about to get them back!" Rally grinned over excited that Yusei, and Yugo's time is almost up. "Cause with Yusei's new runner, Jack doesn't stand a chance!"
"Yeah! What are we waitin' for!?" Tank now as excited as Rally agreed over.
"Midnight tonight."
Confused everyone turned to Yusei, and Yugo with Yusei still working on the Runner while Yugo watches over which Nervin asked over. "Why? What's at midnight?"
"The tiniest of opportunities." Yusei answered over showing a map over.
"Yeah." Yugo nodded as they viewed the map recalling what Yusei told them about. "There is a narrow entrance between New Domino, and the Satellite is a sewer pipeline here. They flood it with trash everyday but once a month at midnight they shut the system down so that they can check the compressor pumps."
"Then a maintenance hatch is automatically opened and that's when we'll get our chance to make it through." Yusei finished gesturing where this hatch is.
"The sewer?" Nervin questioned hearing that. "That sounds a bit... unhygienic. The odors and fumes alone..."
"Remind us of you." interrupted a familiar voice.
Surprised they looked over seeing three people approaching. They heard some laughing while another voice popped up. "Yeah, you stink like the garbage you recycle."
"How's the healing going?" It was the three bullies that gave Blitz, Lenny, and Tank the injuries earlier with a smirk.
Yusei narrowed his eyes over while one glared over to him, and Yugo. "Hey you two shortstuff, and the one with the hair! You think you two are a couple of tough guys? Cause I'll show you both what tough is!"
"Why don't you come over here, and say that to my fist?" Yugo dared over cracking his knuckles.
"Easy Yugo." Yusei held an arm to stop Yugo from getting physical with them. "Remember what I told you about bullies, they want to provoke you for satisfaction."
"Well it's working."
"Well those are pretty sweet rides you both got." the leader of the bullies smirked cracking his knuckles walking over.
Yugo's eyes widened at that as Blitz moved between him and Yusei's Duel Runner.
"How much do you want for them?" the leader of the bullies asked with a smirk.
"The runners aren't for sale, so beat it." Blitz told him.
"Well if it's not for sale, how about you give them to me instead of the shoes we're here to collect?" the bully leader smirked causing Yugo's eyes to widen more as he glared at him.
"That sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me." the bully with glasses mentioned while the third bully giggled at that.
"Or would you prefer I go topside and tell Sector Security you're hiding illegal Duel Runners down here?" the leader of the bullies threatened with a smirk.
"Why you..." Yugo growled only for Yusei to put a hand on his shoulder.
"Why don't we duel for them?" Yusei mentioned standing up.
"Huh? Duel us? You two might as well hand them over now." the leader asked a bit surprised before smirking. "'Specially if you duel like your buddies here fight." The two other bullies laughed from this. "Well how do these stakes sound - I win, and those runners are mine. You both win, and we leave you alone? So?" As he asked this he, and the bully with glasses strapped on Duel Disks with smirks.
Yugo is sure he feels frustrated cause bullies always seek to be better then others but on the inside there actually afraid of those picking on others, and they do so to make them feel better about themselves, and prove themselves their better then they are. He grown up against several of thing with a couple of other friends he known each other with, and despite only having Yusei now, he's still willing to prove no-one is gonna take his runner without a fight. Not when Yusei gave him a chance too instead of using the Runner for himself.
"Hold it, I never said a tag duel, I mean you against me." Yusei told the leader as he turned to Yugo. "I know how you feel Yugo, but trust me alright?"
Yugo frowned slightly hearing that since he didn't like Yusei fighting his battles for him but he knew that if he could trust anyone it was Yusei as he nodded.
"Heh then you must be out of your mind if you think you can take me on by yourself." the leader smirked over at Yusei.
"Yusei… be careful." Yugo whispered.
"Yusei don't duel him."
"He's just a bully!"
While Blitz, and Nervin are against Yusei dueling over this guy, he unlatched his Duel Disk from the Duel Runner.
"And bullies never learn, unless you stand up to them." Yusei then switches his current Deck with another one to use for Master Duels.
"But what if you lose to them Yuse?" Blitz asked over towards him.
"Disengaging Duel Disk." the Yusei Go responded as Yusei attaches it on his arm.
"We'll be fine Blitz."
"Huh. I think I'll change the color..." the leader smirked over looking over at the Yusei Go already thinking of things to do.
"Don't do it Yuse! Please!" Tank attempts to change Yusei's mind over this duel challenge here. "This runner is the key to our... our..."
"Future." Yusei finished over not standing down willing to duel this guy.
"That's why he's gonna do it." Yugo knows what he's thinking trusting Yusei.
"Well your future's coming with me." the leader smirked over to Yusei. "So ya better start makin new plans for tomorrow!" They walked out of the area where to a more open field for there match over while Yusei, and the leader called Lenny prepared each other for there match.

"Yeah ever since that roach nested in his ear he freezes up if you just say the word insect." Nervin recalled himself over this. "I sure hope this doesn't throw him off his game."
"Come on Yuse! You can do it!" Blitz called over while Yugo watches on worried for his surrogate brother.
"Scared of creepy crawlies huh? Well then this duel - will have you coming face to face with your worst fears." Lenny smirked over towards Yusei's location while setting two cards.
"You got him shakin' in his boots boss!" the glasses bully called over while the third one laughed.

"Well, there's only one way to find out!" Lenny drew determined to finish this match fast checking his hand over. "And to start, how do you think you'll prepare for this?"

Raising up beside Chainsaw Insect was a large black scorpion having an eye shaped like the ones on the Millennium Items with a human like mouth growling.

"Wait huh, I don't get it how was he able to summon it after he already summoned Dream Cicada?" Tank asked wondering how Lenny managed to do that.
"He must've used Dream Cicada's special summon effect where if he controls an Insect in Attack Position, Dream Cicada can be Special Summoned." Nervin guessed how correctly while adjusting his glasses.
Yugo frowned hearing that but Yusei looked at the insects calmly.
"I bet you must be growing more worried by the amount of bugs there are. When Sector Security dumped me here in the Satellite I thought I'd spend the rest of my life sifting through the trash, but you, and your pal's Runners gonna get me outta this dump and back to where I belong." Lenny smirked over to Yusei before tapping a card. "And this trap here is gonna make sure in case you got any ideas, Meteorain!'

Looking frustrated, Lenny doesn't see any other problems to get in his way. "Ha! Since your bug trap's all used up let's see how you save yourself this time! Chainsaw Insect your turn, destroy that Shield Wing!"

"I use the trap card Defense Draw, this reduces the damage from your attack to zero, and thanks to Shield Wing's ability it isn't destroyed." Yusei revealed playing another trap.

Turbo Synchron charged in at Chainsaw Insect as it moved over to attack which Nervin called out worried. "Yusei what are you doing!? Turbo Synchron's too weak!"
"No he isn't, don't forget Turbo Synchron's ability... it switches Chainsaw Insect to defense position when it attacks." Yugo mentioned grinning. "And powerful as that bug is it doesn't have a single defense point."
"What!?" Chainsaw Insect was hypnotized changing mode.

With it now in Defense, Turbo Synchron punched destroying Chainsaw Insect easily while Lenny looks nervous now. "I'm not liking this..."
"Well if you don't like that you definitely won't like my Junk Barrage's ability." Yusei pointed out. "You take damage equal to half of Chainsaw Insects attack points and that's 1200."
Junk meteors ran down on Lenny as he braced himself. (Lenny: 2700/Hand: 1)
"Nice one Yusei!" Rally grinned over from this.
"I'm not done, I play the Urgent Tuning trap card." Yusei called as he drew from Chainsaw Insects ability. "This lets me tune Turbo Synchron with Turret Warrior during the battle."

Yugo grinned over from this. "I never doubted Yusei for a second."
"Well a friend once told me that I have to believe into my Deck to find my way out of any situation." Yusei explained over to Lenny who looked at him while he recalled some words that Jack spoke to him about. "That day - a very valuable lesson was taught to me. A lesson - that I'll never forget. And it's the belief, I have in the power of my cards that gave me the strength to win this duel."
"Man, I thought those runners were mine." Lenny admitted with a small grin. "Yusei... maybe me and you - we can be friends someday. Next time we duel Topside."
"Sure, but no bugs next time alright?" Yusei asked with a grin.
Meanwhile back at Jack's home...
Jack was by himself speeding onto his Duel Runner in his own private track thinking about something while Goodwin watches on at his progress before calling on his communicator. "Jack." Jack stopped the Runner from hearing Goodwin's voice removing his helmet while Goodwin walked over. "Bravo, you dueled well tonight."
"And Yusei? Are things going according to plan?"
"Yes, Sector Security has informed me that we have nothing to worry about."
Jack stared off at the sky before the screen turned where Yusei is staring up himself with Yugo while the older of the two thought. 'Look out Jack... me, and Yugo are coming back to take what's mine!'

Ulrich362: True, oh and yes Lieutenant Roget is exactly who you think he is... though he won't have a large role until a bit later. That said, next up is going to be Yusei and Yugo's attempt to escape the Satellite and maybe a small bit of foreshadowing. See you in the next chapter.
