It has been brought to my attention that my chapters are way too short. My last one was under 500 words and I deeply apologize for that! This one will be much longer to make up for my being a crappy author! Thank you to those that have reviewed my past chapters! DARK WRAITH 2001, I did fix the part last chapter where I put Reyna instead of Jason. ramencat67, thanks again for bringing many things to my attention. And Nexonbat, thanks for the support! Hope you like this chapter!

Reyna's POV

"So..." Reyna started. "Down to business."

"Um, I suggest that we start with introductions," stated Percy. "Just so that we can start referring to people by their names.

Reyna nodded. "Good idea. You already met Percy and me. Who would like to start?"

The blond girl next to Percy spoke up. "I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."

Reyna gave a small nod at her. She should've known the girl was the daughter of Minerva. The gleam in Annabeth's eye said it all. She was a natural-born leader. In a way, the girl reminded Reyna of herself. Both were determined and strong. Both were ready to fight at a moment's notice.

"I'm Jason Grace, son of Jupiter," Jason said. "Though, most of you already know me." He glanced at Percy. The girl next to him took his hand and smiled comfortingly.

"I'm Piper Mclean, daughter of Aphrodite," she said warmly. Reyna had guessed Aphrodite was the girl's mother. The charmspeak had given proof enough of that. Reyna had a small sense of respect for Piper. She did not act stuck up and vain, like most of the Venus girls that Reyna had met. But then she remembered that Piper was dating Jason, and the small flame of respect almost diminished.

The Hispanic boy spoke next. "I'm Leo Valdez, Supreme Commander of the Argo ll, and son of Hephaestus. And did I mention I can summon fire?" Leo's hand burst into flames. Reyna raised an eyebrow. She had never seen a child of Hephaestus or Vulcan who could summon fire. She had heard of such things, but seeing it in real life was much different.

"Ok, so now that that is out of the way, let's talk about why we even came here in the first place. This quest. The Prophecy of Seven." Annabeth said. "Have we already figured out who the seven demigods will be?"

"To storm or fire, the world must fall," Jason said, reciting part of the said prophecy. "That would be Leo and me. I'm storm, and he's fire."

"Foes bear arms to the Doors of Death," Annabeth said, also stating part of the Prophecy of Seven. "That must mean Greeks and Romans fighting together. I mean, we are old foes."

"So, it must be me, Annabeth, Leo, Jason, Piper, Hazel, and Frank," Percy said. "That's seven half-bloods. A mix of Roman and Greek."

Reyna nodded. "Very well, then. When do you plan to... leave... on this quest?" Her voice caught on the word, "leave." She didn't know if she would be able to lead the camp alone yet again, since both Percy and Jason would be leaving on this quest. Stress started to hit her again. The stress she hadn't felt since Jason had disappeared suddenly. But when had Percy shown up, Reyna's stress levels went down rapidly. She knew that she could count on Percy once she made him a praetor of the legion. But he would leave her soon, and she would be alone again. She glanced at Percy, and he smiled at her gently, sending calming thoughts her way. His sea-green eyes made her relax just a tad, but she was still on edge.

Get a hold of yourself! She thought. You are a praetor of the Twelfth Legion Fulminata. Calm down.

"When should we leave for the ancient lands?" Asked Piper.

"Maybe a few weeks," Percy said., glancing at Reyna knowingly. "This will give us time to pack, train, and overall prepare and get acquainted with each other."

The demigods continued to talk and plan for the next 15 minutes. The thought of Percy leaving her continued to sit in Reyna's mind. The legion needed two praetors to lead them. Not just one. The responsibilities of two praetors would fall on Reyna yet again. The thought made Reyna want to break. How long until she really did crumble?

Percy's POV

Percy could tell that Reyna was anxious at the thought of Percy leaving her alone, yet again. That was partially why Percy decided to give the future crew a few weeks until the departure of the Argo ll. He needed to be a praetor for just a little longer. It's just what a good friend would do after all. He knew Reyna needed him and he was determined to be there for her, even if it was for just a little while longer. He didn't know when he would see her next, so he needed to support her now.

Part of him wished that the Argo ll hadn't arrived so quickly. He knew that it was a selfish thought. The war with the giants couldn't be stalled. Gaea wouldn't wait until Camp Jupiter solved its praetor problems. But, he still wished that he could have a little more time with just him and Reyna. The greeks coming made the situation a little more complicated. Reyna didn't need the added stress of the arrival of the Argo ll. He and Reyna were good friends and he was going to be there for her. Just friends. He told himself. Nothing more. Especially now that Wise Girl is here. I need Annabeth and she needs me. I owe her that much.

His mind drifted to the two times he and Reyna had kissed. She was a good kisser... He shook his head. He needed to clear his mind.

Reyna had told the new arrivals that they would be staying in the barracks and had Dakota, the son of Bacchus, show them where they were.

"Are you coming?" Annabeth asked. "We are gonna go see our barracks, and claim bunks."

"Actually, I'm gonna talk to Reyna really quick. I'll see you in the mess hall for lunch."

Annabeth nodded reluctantly but eventually walked away with the rest of the group. Percy strode over to where Reyna was standing alone her hands gripping the back of the chair she was previously sitting in.

"Hey, are you ok? You seem... anxious," Percy told her. She looked up at him and forced a smile.

"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine." She looked back down at her hands.

"Reyna... trust me, I wish I could stay a little longer, but I need to go on this quest. And believe me, I don't want to leave you with the responsibility of the whole camp on your shoulders."

Reyna shook her head. "Percy, I understand that you have to go on this quest. You can't choose your fate." She sighed slowly. " Percy, you need to understand that I'm a big girl. I can handle Camp Jupiter on my own. I've done it before after all"

"Barely. Reyna, I saw you. You never got any sleep, you had so many documents to sign, and you always had to walk around camp taking the job of more than one praetor. There is a reason that there are two praetors. Not just one. You are one the strongest people I've ever met, but no one's that strong.

"Percy, I'll be fine! You don't need to worry about... me." Reyna's voice broke, and she started shaking. " To be completely truthful, I'm scared, Percy. With the war with Gaea and protecting the whole camp, and everything." A tear slid down her face. "I don't know what I'm going to do."

Percy put an arm around Reyna's trembling shoulders. "You'll figure it out, Reyna. You always have. You're strong and capable and I will help you as much as I can." Reyna continued to shake but her tears stopped falling down her cheeks.

"Thank you so much, Percy," she said quietly. "I don't know what I would do without you helping me."

Percy shrugged. "That's what... friends... are for, right?"

You guys, I had so much writer's block when writing this up, but I did it and I hope you liked it! I tried to make it much longer than my past ones have currently been. (Still sorry about that!) If you guys would still like to see longer chapters, just let me know and I will see what I can do! Please review and tell me how I can improve, and I may just shout you out! Again, thanks for all your continued support! I love y'all!
