-chapter 44-
The next day, with our entire group assembled, we finally began our journey towards Grandracmon's castle.
We were originally planning to take our vehicles over to the lakeside village once again, but on the way there, we came across the bubble men and their army, who were making their way back towards the city. This time we did not have the luck of passing by them unseen. There wasn't a clear way to get around them either. They now had some stingmon, roachmon, and flymon working for them too. These new recruits gave the bubble men some air power and made them that much more dangerous.
Zari stopped the bus, Phoebe and I got out along with our digimon, Claire got out of Henry's car and boarded one of the mechanorimon, after we got out, Henry and Zari turned around and took the vehicles further away to keep them out of the conflict. The mechanorimon took to the skies and began raining down lasers upon the enemy. We weren't really expecting a fight, but there was no easy way around them. A few enemy stingmon, Volkheim's latest recruits, engaged the mechanorimon. The stingmon guiding us didn't want to take part at first, but eventually they did. So now there were stingmon fighting stingmon.
Even with the extra help, we couldn't beat them, they had gotten too large and there were just too many, so we resorted to taking down just enough of them to allow us to escape, board the vehicles and follow the edge of the forest in the opposite direction, which after heading east a few miles, eventually brought us north. We were now vaguely heading towards the ruins of the machine city, which we would also be keeping our distance from, in case darkdramon's heavily armed forces were still there. It was a quiet ride, nobody really wanted to do anything but keep an eye out for hostile forces. We didn't play cards, Phoebe and I didn't snuggle or anything, we just sat in our seats and kept our eyes fixed on the windows while Henry and Claire led the way.
A few hours passed and we were now clear north of the machine city, an abnormally flat grassy plane on one side and a sprawling forest on the other, with some very tall mountains in the distance. We passed a small group of monochromon just hanging out. The seemed content to just leave us be, so we let them be. For just a champion level digimon, they were huge, it was really just their lack of intelligence that kept them from being a higher level, as they acted more like animals than humans and were just barely sapient.
We eventually found a small opening in the forest big enough to drive both of our vehicles into without hitting any of the trees. This narrow path went vaguely east for about 10 miles and ended in the middle of nowhere. From there we left one of the mechanorimon behind to guard the vehicles. The stingmon weren't familiar with the area, but they were harder to spot than the mechanorimon in flight as the mechanorimon make a lot of smoke and sound when they fly. So they could use this ability to scout for us, which allowed us to maintain our bearings and consistently head east. Which is the vague direction grandracmon's castle would be in. It seemed kind of silly to wander around the gigantic forest without any idea where we were going, but there were enough little digimon villages out here that we eventually had the luck to run into one after traveling for quite some time. The locals, a mix of tentomon, wormon, dokunemon, and kunemon, as well as their in-training forms, were happy to see us as they had been informed of grankuwagamon's defeat. The village consisted of crude houses made from a combination of tree branches and the worm digimon's own silk-like thread. From the air it was well covered by the trees and very hard to spot, which is why we stumbled across it instead of the stingmon finding it first.
We set up camp there for the night, gathered around and had some cabbages for dinner.
"Volkheim is going to be a problem." Henry said.
"Their army has gotten huge." Zari added.
"Maybe we'll have a better chance once we locate the other chosen digimon." I said. "What I don't get is why Ophanimon hasn't sent them away like the engine crew."
"Well I'm sure she has a good reason." Kitty said.
"And what would that be? They're just making a mess of everything and set us back who knows how long?" I asked.
"I'm sure she'll send them away if they become too much of a problem." Kitty argued.
"Why doesn't she do that before they become a problem?" I asked.
"I don't know, I'll ask her if we ever see her." Kitty said.
"I think you're banking too much on her, but whatever." I replied.
"What if this grandracmon doesn't have our pokémon?" Claire asked.
"Well then maybe ophanimon sent them away?" Kitty replied.
"Yeah why doesn't she do that either? Just snap her fingers and give them their pokémon back?" I asked.
"Because she's not at her post." Saphira suddenly interjected.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Kitty when is the last time you heard her voice?" Saphira asked.
"It was when Cj and I became partners." Kitty replied.
"Really?" Saphira asked. "For me it's been months."
"Well, that was several days ago." Kitty said.
"Well that's my point, she's not at her post, for whatever reason she's not in charge anymore or she would have been more communicative, she'd tell us where the other chosen were." Saphira explained.
"But who else would be?" Kitty asked.
"I have no idea." Saphira replied.
"So your saying somewhere between us becoming partners and now, she's been dethroned?" I said.
"Or worse." Saphira replied.
"And she couldn't send the bubble men away before then?" I asked.
"Well think about it Cj, if she did that the train crew would be left to deal with them on their own." Phoebe said.
"Well why didn't she just send them to the real world then?" I asked.
"They'd find their way back." Henry said. "Volkheim's a genius, and he wants us bad enough he probably wouldn't give up no matter where he was sent."
"It doesn't matter what Ophanimon is doing, the truth is the bubble men are still here for whatever reason and at some point we'll have to deal with them again." Phoebe said.
"Actually they seem to be after you for some reason Pheebles." I said. "Remember back at Tactimon's castle? They tried to kidnap you."
"I know Cj, but I don't know why." She replied.
"I could think of a million reasons." I said.
"Awwwe, Cj." She replied as everyone else rolled their eyes.
"Ophanimon has her reasons for not sending them away I'm sure of it." The ever faithful Kitty replied.
"Yeah maybe." I replied. "You bank way too much on her."
"I do not!" She snapped.
"Let's focus on Grandracmon." Phoebe said. "I don't think he's nearly as powerful as the bubble men are right now."
"And he probably has my Chikorita." Claire added.
"I hope so." Phoebe added.
"And my lizard um, thing." Henry said.
"You already forgot its name?" Claire asked.
"It totodile." Phoebe said.
"Right, Totodile, sorry." Henry apologized.
"Eh, it's allright, there's been a lot going on recently." I replied.
"Cj he forgot what his pokémon was." Phoebe said.
"No he remembered it was a lizard thing, he just forgot its name." I argued.
"It happens, um, what was your name again?" I asked, to not as much laughter as I had hoped.
"You're faking it." Phoebe said.
"Yes I am, but still." I said.
"How could you forget her name you've been together for so long? " Kitty said.
"He didn't he's faking it." Phoebe replied.
" Yeah cle, uh clementine." I said.
"You forgot my name too?" Kitty asked. "You're the one that gave it to me."
"He's just messing with you." Phoebe said.
"Are you sure about that Phoenicia?" I asked.
"Yes I'm sure, and that's my great grandma's name." Phoebe replied.
"It is?" I asked.
"Yes." She said. "Mommy named me after her."
"Ok, did not know that." I replied. "After her."
That got me a few more laughs, but still not as much as I was hoping.
"I don't get it." Kitty replied.
"Hello humans what is going on?" A kunemon suddenly swung down from the tree, catching everyone by surprise and very nearly burning itself on the fire.
"DON'T DO THAT!" Phoebe yelled as her eyes glowed purple with rage for just a brief second, it was adorable.
"What are you going to do tomorrow?" It asked as it cut itself down and continued on as if it didn't nearly barbecue itself.
"Why? Are you coming with us?" I asked.
"We're going over to Grandracmon's castle to try to get our pokémon back." Claire explained.
"What's a pokémon?" It asked.
"It's what I am." Phoebe said. "But there are a lot of others too, pokémon come in all shapes and sizes just like humans and digimon."
Later that night, after all the kunemon's questions were answered, as well as those of several other resident digimon that came to speak with us, everyone split up and found somewhere to sleep. Including our digimon, so Phoebe and I could have some more alone time. We had to sleep on the grass as all the houses were occupied and even if they weren't they were far too small for us anyway, though they were comfortable for all the bug pokémon. "These bugs are so creepy." Phoebe said to me via telepathy to avoid offending our hosts, once we had gotten settled down for the night.
"Really? They're the ones that creep you out? Not spider lady, not the stingmon, but the little tiny caterpillars?" I asked.
"Well, they're big enough I can't imagine them crawling on me, but I can those little guys." She said. "And the spider lady was cute, when she was a lady."
"I'm a big hungry caterpillar I'm going to crawl on you Rawr!" I playfully teased.
"No Cj stop what are you doing? You big weirdo!" She exclaimed between giggles as I playfully tickled her.
"What's that?" She said as she looked into the distance.
"What's what?" I asked as I looked in the same direction to see a whole lot of trees and not much else.
"Let me up, I gotta go see." She asked.
"Ok, if you say so." I replied. I let her get up and then she started to wander into the forest.
"Come with me." She said.
"Ok." I replied.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To find the thing." She said.
"What thing?" I asked.
"You didn't see it did you?" She said as she led me further away from the camp.
"No, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about." I replied.
"You think it's a dusknoir or something that could take us home?" I asked. Thinking back to that time we found ourselves in what was basically the afterlife of Phoebe's home world after fighting a giant pokemon monster thing.
"No, what would they be doing out here?" Phoebe asked.
"I have no idea, but I wouldn't be surprised." I replied.
"Really, this isn't a world where pokémon exist." Phoebe said.
"Well then what are we looking for Pheebles?" I asked.
"For a spot where we can make love without the others noticing." She said, switching back to telepathy.
"Really, out here?" I asked.
"You can't refuse, you owe me." She said.
"That's not how that works, but if that's what you want baby girl." I said as I wrapped my arms around her.
"Not here, we're not far enough away." She quietly said. " I can still hear them."
"Um, baby girl, you know they can't hear you." I said.
"I know, but I don't want to hear them, I only want to hear you." She replied. "So come on, just a bit further. Then you can start making it up to me."
As a loyal husband I had no choice but to follow her deeper into the forest, further away from the village we were camping out in. Once we got to a point where she felt we were far enough away, we started to make out which eventually led to us making love once again.
We woke up the next morning lying naked on the grass, we quickly scrambled to get dressed and rejoin the group before anybody was awake enough to notice. It was also imperative to get dressed before any random curious digimon could drop in out of nowhere like the kunemon that nearly barbecued itself the night before. Such an event would only lead to an extremely awkward conversation. Once everyone was ready to go we continued to head to the east.
"Where are we going Cj?" Phoebe asked once we left the village.
"Well we started clear to the north this time, so now we're heading east, hopefully we'll end up somewhere around where we're supposed to be. "
"Why aren't we riding in the mechanorimon?" Phoebe asked.
"In case Grandracmon's army of lizard digimon spots us." I replied.
"How do you know his army consist of lizard digimon?" Phoebe asked.
"I don't, I'm just guessing from that one thief we saw." I said.
-meanwhile, in the basement of grandracmon's castle, Grandracmon was watching us through yet another magical crystal ball.-
"They're coming for me now." He said to his mysterious servant, the hooded fiend Zari saw in the alleyway several weeks ago. "Soon the time will come to put the legend to the test."
"The only question is which one should be chosen to receive such power?" He said as he watched both of Henry and Claire's pokémon sleep inside a small jail cell nearby. He had been keeping them out of their balls for several days, so they were both tired and anxious to get out, he had been feeding them scraps of cabbage leaves that tasted of things he liked. Which, as a vampyric digimon were completely disdainful to most other living things. So they were also pretty hungry.
"Which one will gain the most from it?" His servant asked.
"Well the statue we stole from that market is the one of ancientcherrymon, a warrior of the plants, the ribbon-headed one is vaguely plant like, perhaps their powers will work together." Grandracmon reasoned.
"Then what shall we do with the other one?" The servant asked.
"Keep it, perhaps we shall be fortunate enough to find alphatyranomon's statue. Now all we need to do is figure out a way to get the ribbon headed one to break the ancientcherrymon statue." Grandracmon said, not knowing totodile was actually water type and assuming he was actually some kind of small non-elemental dinosaur. Since this alternate version of a totodile was a dark green like an actual crocodile instead of the normal blue, it wasn't that difficult of a mistake to make. "Bring it outside, and have your mons move the other to a separate cell. Today we conquer what was Grankuwagamon's territory, then we'll move on until we can meet up with darkdramon to the north."
"What about our other prisoner?" The servant asked. "The one that claims to be one of the chosen?"
"We'll keep him in case we need him to identify the other chosen." Grandracmon said, not knowing that it wouldn't work like that. The chosen they had captured was lying to stay alive.
Anyway, Chikorita tried to escape the entire time it was being moved outside, but it was no use, the digimon were a lot more powerful than her. Totodile didn't fare much better and was promptly moved to a separate cell.
"Now little one, all you have to do to earn your freedom is break this statue." Grandracmon said. Surrounded by the handful of devimon and bloodramon that made up his "army" which wasn't nearly as big as any of the other dark kings. Up until now, Grandracmon was mainly focused on obtaining the statues than conquering territory. Something that was now about to change.
Bloodramon were these strange blue humanoid, raptor-like digimon we were having trouble identifying. At about 6ft tall and 130lbs they are extremely thin and fast moving digimon that can slink through crowds with ease, allowing them to excel at thievery. In combat they're more of a glass cannon, their venom contains a powerful anti-coagulant that allows them to drain an excessive amount of blood from their victims, killing them in seconds, but they have very little pain tolerance and their small, stretched frames can't take much abuse, in addition to that, they sunburn easily so they cover themselves up by wearing heavy coats. We only found this out later when Kitty showed me how to use the digivice to display information on them.
Meanwhile, the stingmon that were acting as our guides kept advising us to head east. So that's what we did. We headed east through some pretty dense forestry. It was slow progress, nothing much of interest happened until a few hours later when the stingmon finally spotted Arukenimon along with a small entourage of dokugumon. We briefly met up with them to discuss what was happening.
"Hi Arukenimon how have you been?" Phoebe nervously asked.
"Just fine, haven't found as many willing to join me as I had hoped, but, you're here for Grandracmon now aren't you?"
"Yep." I replied. "Where did you see him?"
"I didn't see him, but there's this strange mansion in the woods a group of stingmon found a few days before you showed up, they were sent to explore by Grandkuwagamon, and they just came back a day after you left. So I sent a few stingmon to find you knowing you would probably be looking for him in the city, and I was just on the way to see it myself." Arukenimon said.
"So you don't even know if he's there?" I asked getting a sinking feeling we came all the way out here just because she saw a strange house.
"Well, the stingmon said they saw a few of those thieving digimon go in and out of the place. And they sent somebody in close to investigate only for them to be dragged inside and they haven't come back yet. I don't know what they're doing in there, but it can't be too good." Arukenimon said.
"Well, I guess we could check it out." I said.
"It beats going around and asking people where grandracmon is." Henry added.
"Yeah, for now." I agreed.
"Let's do this, we need a change." Zari said.
"We already came out here, might as well." Phoebe said.
"What if my chikorita is in there? We better go." Claire said.
Saphira didn't care to say anything and Kitty was sleeping inside my digivice.
"Well then, just follow us we'll take you to it." Arukenimon said. "And one more thing, once we get there, I'm not helping you fight him, I'm tired of pressing my luck."
"Awe is the spider queen getting scared?" Phoebe asked.
"Says the girl that's afraid of a bunch of caterpillars." I said.
"Cj that was supposed to be a secret!" Phoebe replied.
"It was?" I asked.
"Yes." Phoebe replied.
"You're more afraid of them than me?" Arukenimon asked. "Or the dokugumon."
"Why would we be afraid of you? You're our friend now." Phoebe asked.
"Well back when I wasn't." Arukenimon said.
"What happened to the big silver guy?" Claire suddenly asked.
"Oh, okuwamon? He's somewhere over on the east side of the forest." Arukenimon replied. "I tried to talk to him, but he's extremely upset as he lost a lot of power when you fought him."
"So he's just on his own then?" Saphira asked while inside Phoebe's digivice.
"Nobody wants to follow a giant silver crybaby." Arukenimon said.
"Anyway, you seriously think those little worm digimon are scarier than me?" Arukenimon asked as she darted ahead and promptly changed into her spider form and stared Phoebe right in the eyes, trying to look as intimidating as possible, everyone stopped walking for a moment, and we needed to let the mechanorimon catch up anyway.
"You are scary, but only as much as everything else we have to fight, you see what makes bugs like you really scary is that they can crawl on you, but you're much too big to do that. Therefore, you're not as scary as them." Phoebe explained.
"Why do you take so much pride in being scary?" I asked.
"Well, I uh, I don't know." Arukenimon said.
"Well now you're just being kind of cute." I said.
"Yeah, she is." Phoebe agreed.
"Just like you sometimes." I added before arukenimon could say anything.
"No." Phoebe denied.
"Yes." I playfully replied.
"Cj I've told you 90 million times I'm not cute I'm sexy." Phoebe insisted.
"And I've told you 90 million times you can be both." I replied.
"No I can't." She argued.
"Why not?" I asked.
"Because um, they're two different things." She said.
"Yeah, so you can be both at the same time." I replied.
"No I can't." She denied.
"Hey guys 3 out of five mechanorimon have caught up I think we can go now." Henry said.
"Right, let's go." Arukenimon said, confused about how we managed to start our own conversation right in front of her. She didn't know what to say about being called cute, but as we never gave her a chance to reply, she just let it go.
"Cj babies are cute, but they're not sexy." Phoebe argued.
"Yeah, but, ok what's sexy but not cute?" I asked.
"Me." Phoebe insisted as I had a face palm moment.
"Anything else?" I asked.
"A big ugly man weiner?" She replied after some thinking.
"Is that what you are?" I asked.
"NO!" She vehemently denied.
"Ok then what's the difference between that and you?" I asked.
"I'm not big, or ugly." She said. "Or a man weiner."
"Ok and what's the opposite of ugly?" I asked.
"Beautiful." She said.
"So see you're both sexy and beautiful." I said.
"Yes, but not cute." She agreed while I had yet another face palm moment.
"Hey we'll leave a mechanorimon with you guys so can catch up later." Zari said as she passed us by.
It was then we realized how far behind we were.
"We should go." Phoebe said.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"You can try to convince me I'm cute in bed tonight." She said.
"Why? You won't admit it." I replied.
"Admit what?" She asked.
"Exactly." I replied.
"Although you kind of just did." I said.
"I did?" She replied.
"By denying its existence you admitted there was something to be denied which means there was also something to not admit." I said as I instinctively wrapped my arms around her.
"I don't think it works that way Cj." She said as she wrapped her arms around me.
"It doesn't?" I asked.
"No?" She said as we somehow lured each other into a passionate kiss.
"Dam I love you." I said after our lips came apart.
"I love you too." She said as she tightened her grip around me and we stared into each other's eyes. We were gently rocking back and forth in a moment of pure bliss and adoration for each other.
"FOLLOW ME WHEN YOU WANT TO CATCH UP TO THE OTHERS!" A mechanorimon blurted out behind us in a loud robotic voice shattering the moment and catching us both completely off guard. I swear it did it on purpose.
"DO YOU MIND?" I asked. "WE CAN STILL SEE THEM FROM HERE!"
"Come on lover boy, you know we can't be here all day." Phoebe softly said as she let go of me and started to head towards the others.
"Hey wait up." I said as I hustled to catch up to her. She paused just long enough to offer me her hand, which I took once I caught up and then she teleported us up to the others.
"You finished arguing yet?" Zari asked as we appeared just a bit in front of her.
"Nope, but we have to keep moving." Phoebe replied. "Arukenimon! Wait up!"
"Sorry that happened, Cj was being silly." She said once we caught up to her. Of course, I was the one being silly.
"What were we talking about again?" Phoebe asked.
"Cj said I was cute and you agreed." Arukenimon replied.
"Oh right." Phoebe said.
"I told her you two tend to do that a lot." Henry commented.
"Well it's just a matter of time before you and Claire start doing it to." Phoebe teased.
"Then we'll never get anywhere." I added. "One of us will be having completely pointless arguments every 10 minutes."
"It's not pointless I am not cute and someday you will learn that." Phoebe declared.
"Pheebles, not again." I replied.
"Yeah no, we are never going to be like you two. That was like a whole new level of mush." Claire said.
"Mhm sure." Phoebe replied. "I'll remember you said that."
"How much farther do we have to go um, mam?" Henry asked arukenimon.
"It shouldn't be too far, according to my spies, just a bit more north." She replied. "The stingmon should find it shortly."
"Hey if you're too scared to fight them why are you showing us where they are?" Henry asked.
"I just wanted to see you off." Arukenimon said. "Maybe even watch you take grandracmon down."
"I think she misses us." Phoebe said to me through telepathy.
"Yeah, probably." I said under my breath.
"What are we going to do tonight?" Phoebe asked.
"We'll see what happens then we'll make plans." I said.
"I was thinking maybe we could have a huge orgy." Phoebe said.
"Yeah of course you would think that." I replied.
"We'll get Kitty, Saphira and Zari in on it, and maybe arukenimon. Just one night it will be fun." Phoebe said.
"You keep saying that, and then here we are again." I said.
"Well, what if I get them to paint their toes and then you can have 4 pairs of beautiful feet around your cock. With Kitty's boobs in your hands and your tongue in her fluffy little pussy?" She suggested.
"Dammit Pheebles." I said.
"Yeah you want that little pussy again don't you?" She asked.
"Pheebles." I replied, aroused and annoyed at the same time.
"And then we can just cover you with our soft velvety soles." Phoebe said. "While I let you show Kitty how badly you want her."
"Pheebles if you don't cut it out I'm going to wake Kitty up and start talking to her instead."
"Really?" She asked.
"Just stop Pheebles. How hard is it for you to stop?" I asked.
"Oh fine." Phoebe replied. "Just trying to have some fun on this boring walk."
"Yeah, well I'm trying to focus on the mission, we can figure out what to do tonight when tonight comes." I said. " and it definitely won't be anything you just said."
"ooohh Cj" She said. "I was just having fun making suggestions, I wasn't being serious about it."
"Sure you were." I replied. "You know after what happened with arukenimon I'm starting to think you just like to watch me bang other girls."
"That's not it at all." Phoebe denied.
"Really?" I asked.
"I just want to have fun with you." She said.
"We can do that without them, but now isn't really a good time for it." I said.
"No, I mean I'm just messing with you." She said as she looked at me and giggled.
"Oh well that's just great." I said.
"No more orgies just you and me from now on." She said. "Unless you want to."
"We'll talk later ok, let's talk about something else." I said.
"Like what?" She asked. "How about what nail polish do you think would work best of Saphira?"
"How about something that has absolutely nothing to do with sex?" I asked.
"What kind of color is that?" She joked.
"What's your favorite kind of tree?" I asked, we were surrounded by trees at the time and I couldn't think of a better question.
"Um, the ones that make oran berries." She replied. "What does that have to do with anything?"
"That's an example of a question that has nothing to do with sex, in case you didn't know such a thing could exist." I joked.
"Really? You want to talk about trees instead?" She asked.
"What? You don't like trees?" I asked.
"Well they're just, not that exciting." She said.
"Well then, ok, what about what we're going to do if we don't get Henry and Claire's pokémon back?" I asked.
"I don't know Cj, maybe we'll just, um, keep looking?" She joked.
"Yeah that probably wasn't a good question." I said.
"No it wasn't. That's more boring than trees." Phoebe replied. "Can we hold hands?"
"Um if you want, but no funny business." I replied.
"Of course not." She agreed. "I just want to feel closer to you."
So she offered me her hand, and I took it, she was happier that way.
"Ok well why don't you tell me about your grandmother you mentioned last night?" I asked.
"Great grammy Phoenicia?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Um well, I don't know much about her other than mommy named me after her. " She said. "She died before I was born, when my mom was just a baby actually, and my mom wasn't born into royalty so, she was probably just another gardevoir."
"Well what did she do?" I asked.
"I don't know. I told you before both my parents were orphaned by poachers." Phoebe said. "Times were bad back then."
"What do you know about your great grandparents?" She asked.
"Nothing, nothing but their names pretty much." I said.
"See it's not that unusual." She pointed out.
"Yeah, I guess so." I replied.
"Now you're making me homesick." She said out loud.
"Yeah, well, we'll get home someday." I said.
"You guys have been quiet for several minutes and that's the first thing you say?" Zari asked before giving us a weird look, as she had been quietly walking by us the entire time.
"Zari, we've been talking this whole time telepathically." Phoebe explained.
"So she can say very inappropriate things to me without anyone else hearing." I cheekily added.
"Not all the time." Phoebe said as her cheeks turned as red as Zari's.
"Should I tell her what you said a little bit ago? " I asked.
"You don't have the ." She began to say.
"She said she wanted to ." I interrupted.
"Ok, ok, don't, seriously, please." Phoebe interrupted me in return.
"Well now you got me curious." Zari said.
"It's nothing, Cj was just making a point." Phoebe said.
"Yep." I agreed, my point had been made.
"I'm never going to understand you two am I?" Zari asked.
"Nope, but you can try." Phoebe cutely replied.
When we reached grandracmon's mansion all was well, I successfully managed to pull Phoebe's mind out of the insanely deep and scary gutter it tends to get itself into from time to time, and we were both happy and in love with each other.
Once we got close to it, we could see that to the north, on top of a pretty big hill within the forest, there was a large gothic-style mansion. Not as big as Big Tree Palace, but still way bigger than a normal house. We searched the outside of the place and found nothing, no pokémon, no grandracmon, no mysterious reptilian digimon, just a normal house with no apparent owner, it wasn't even decrepit looking or anything. In fact, like many buildings in the digital world, what stuck out was that it was immaculate. Arukenimon and her insectoid digimon friends stayed back as we investigated the place.
"There's nobody here, you woke me up from my nap for nothing." Kitty complained.
"You've been asleep in my digivice for four hours, that's a bit more than a nap." I replied.
"I need my beauty sleep." She said.
"Pheebles has been walking with me all day and she's just as pretty as you." I said.
"Awe, just as?" Phoebe asked.
"Of course you're prettier baby, but I can't tell her that." I thought, she read my mind and smiled at me.
"This isn't right, they have to be here, my chikorita has to be here. They have to be inside" Claire said as she started to break down while Henry tried to keep her calm.
"Don't go inside yet, remember the funhouse? Who knows what will happen?" I said.
"But they have to be in there." Claire said.
"Let us go in first, you three stay back." I insisted.
Unfortunately we would have to do this without the help of the mechanorimon, as they couldn't fit through the door. So it was just down to Phoebe, Saphira, Kitty, and me. It was dark inside, with no obvious light switch, but the interior seemed to be as pristine as the exterior. Phoebe used her powers to light up the room a bit. It looked normal, no sign of any enemy digimon anywhere. We were just about to start looking for secret passages when we heard Claire screaming outside, and not long after that the door flew open and several reptilian digimon entered. I drew my sword out of the digivice, but Phoebe decided she didn't want to fight indoors so she just grabbed my arm along with Saphira's, giving me just seconds to grab Kitty before she teleported us out of there.
"Don't grab my tails, how many times do I have to tell you that?" Kitty scolded me once we were outside.
"I didn't have much time, Phoebe decided to bug out." I defended. "Better than leaving you there with them ey?"
"Why fight them in there where I can hardly see when we can fight them out here?" Phoebe asked.
"I could see just fine in there." Kitty said.
"Not this again." I said as it seemed the two were about to fight again. "Look Pheebles, you could have warned us in advance or something. Our friends are in trouble, let's go save them instead of fighting about this."
"Ok." Phoebe agreed. "Let's go."
Even though we heard Claire screaming earlier, it seemed that Henry, Claire, and Zari managed to get to safety inside the mechanorimon for the time being, they were fighting a small horde of devimon and these strange reptilian digimon.
Immediately we went to back them up, once we did, Kitty wasn't even able to sink her claws into one of them before the enemy forces started to retreat into the forest, down the other side of the hill behind the mansion.
It seemed too easy. We gave chase, hoping they would lead us to somewhere more important. Phoebe and I boarded a mechanorimon and then we cautiously followed them into the forest. Fully aware we were being led into something, likely an ambush, unfortunately it was much worse. Grandracmon was standing there, lined by his devimon and lizard troops. He through a pokeball into the air and out came a large abomination, a strange digimon, um thing, I had never seen before. It looked like some kind of giant tree monster, it had very bark like skin, four legs, a hollow, expression less face like a togemon's, with what appeared to be a gun barrel where it's mouth should have been and it's "hair" consisted of many tree branches filled with leaves. It was also huge, as in quite possibly the largest digimon we had ever seen up to this point, dwarfing grandracmon himself, who was standing behind it. Even Aggron would be short compared to this thing.
"What the hell is that thing?" I asked. Wondering if digimon could even fit in a pokeball.
"KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!" It roared loud enough to cause smaller digimon in the distance to flee. We could see them in the distance, little white dots flying above the tree line like a bunch of frightened birds. They were too far away to tell what they were.
"This, is ancientChicotrojamon, and it will be your destroyer today." Grandracmon proudly proclaimed.
"Ancient what?" I asked.
"That's not one of the ancients." Saphira said.
"It almost looks like chikorita." A horrified Claire interrupted. "He turned my baby into that thing!"
"We don't know that for sure." I said.
"Cj, she's right." Phoebe said. "I'm getting faint readings off of it, it's not entirely a digimon. Also it came out of a pokeball."
"What's it thinking?" Claire asked.
"It's not in control of its own body." Phoebe said. "It's barely conscious."
"If that's her chikorita then where's my pokémon?" Henry asked.
"This is reversible, it has to be right?" A panicking Claire asked.
"I hope so." Phoebe said.
"Even if it is you won't get the chance to reverse it." Grandracmon said. "It will be your destroyer. Go! AncientChicoTrojamon! Grind them into dust."
"KOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!" Roared the abomination as it lurched forward. The ground shook under its immense weight. Vines over a foot in diameter erupted from its back and began to flail around like crazy. Getting hit by them would be lethal, but they were pretty slow, and weren't very accurate. The monster itself was barely moving and a big target. The mechanorimon took to the skies to better avoid its attacks. Phoebe teleported out of hers so she could use her own powers against it as well. Of course there wasn't much we could do to it. We quickly found out it had weak spot directly above it, as it took more effort for it to reach up there, and then came the razor leaves, thousands of them to the extent that it was more like a petal dance attack than a razor leaf. They were everywhere and constantly pinging off the sides of the mechanorimon. Phoebe's quick thinking let her find refuge underneath the abomination, another weak spot, until Saphira's draining rain weakened it. It was so bad grandracmon and his cronies circled around and went back to the mansion. Phoebe didn't escape fast enough and was cut pretty bad, I could see her bleeding. I was scared for her, but leaving the mechanorimon right now would be suicide.
"Hey Claire did you try returning it?" I asked.
"I don't have her pokeball." Claire replied.
"It's eyes are hollow." Henry said. "We could try to get inside of it."
"Just don't kill it, please." Claire said.
"We're going to try to save it, but I don't know what this thing even is to be honest, so I can't really make any guarantees. " I said.
All this was going on while the mechanorimon were constantly firing their lasers at it, though it wasn't really doing much.
Realizing that inside of it would probably be safer as well as give us some more time to think of an offensive strategy. We dodged the flailing branches and managed to get inside through its giant eyehole, while Phoebe and the digimon tried to stay under it where the razor leaves couldn't hit them. It The inside of its head was hollow, like a helmet, it was very dark and there were no organs or anything, unless the mechanism for its mouth cannon counted as one. In fact, from what we could see from the light provided by the mechanorimon, aside from the cannon, it was entirely made of wood, and completely lined with bark with no obvious seems. We were trying to figure out what to do when Phoebe teleported in front of me. She fell to her knees almost immediately afterward and I got out of my mechanorimon as fast as I could to check on her.
"I'm bleeding, Cj." She struggled to say.
"Yeah, I noticed." I replied.
"Dammit we don't have any potions either." I said. "I guess if worse comes to worse I could put you in a pokeball."
"It won't work that way, we don't have any empty balls." She said. "I'll be fine, I can control the bleeding."
"I'm going to put you in my mechanorimon and I'm going to get you out of here." I said.
"Wait." She replied.
"Pheebles, this isn't the . . ." I began to say.
"I know where chikorita is." She interrupted. "It's near the center, where this thing's stomach should be."
"Yeah but how do we get there?" I asked, seeing no obvious exit from it's head.
"There's got to be a way out." Zari said.
"Yeah back through the eyes." Henry replied.
"No I mean there has to be a way to it's stomach." Zari said.
"Come on Pheebles, let's get you out of here." I said as I helped her up and into my mechanorimon which was still waiting for me to get back inside.
"Take her to arukenimon." I said. "Get her out of here."
My mechanorimon left through the nearest eye hole.
"How are you going to get out of here now?" Zari asked.
"I'll figure that out later." I said. "Let's get chikorita back."
"There's a hole here but the mechanorimon won't fit through. " Claire said as the canopy popped open on her mechanorimon. "She's my pokemon I'm going to go save her."
The entire place shook as the beast apparently moved. From where we were it was hard to see what was going on outside.
I took control of Claire's mechanorimon as she insisted on going in by herself. There wasn't much the rest of us could do. I decided to check on our digimon who were still outside, with no easy way to get in.
They were fine, but razor leaves were still flying all over the place and the branch-like vines were still wildly flailing. The monster knew Henry, Claire, and Zari were inside it and was thrashing around violently trying to get them to stop. I could only imagine how hard it was for Claire to make it through that corridor through all of that, but somehow she did, and was eventually dumped into a hollow, bark-lined cavity about where the beast's stomach would be, where her chikorita was horrifyingly fused to the floor. Numerous vines we also attached to it, suspended from the ceiling in a horrifically tangled mess. The closest thing this monstrosity had to organs.
Chikorita itself was in a lot of pain and just barely conscious.
"Cj I'm genuinely afraid of this thing." Kitty said. "My claws won't go through it. And those leaf things really hurt."
"Yeah, we're really screwed on this one." I replied.
"I guess I could try setting fire to it." I said. "But Henry and the others are still inside."
"Well tell them to get out." Kitty said.
"I'll give them a bit." I said. "Claire went down this really tight corridor to try to get chikorita out of its stomach, if she can find a way to separate them, it might just fall apart."
"Is that possible though?" Saphira asked.
"I have no idea." I replied.
I noticed Phoebe's mechanorimon was still flying around shooting lasers at it so I told the one I was using to tell it to stop firing lasers and go inside the monster's head to assist the others. Aside from that, there wasn't much our digimon or I could do about this thing.
The rest of grandracmon's forces were doing absolutely nothing but watching us fight this thing from the safety of the mansion. Until Arukenimon, thinking that we had failed to destroy him and died in the process, decided to attack them for fear that grandracmon would turn against her next. So the mechanorimon carrying Phoebe, following my orders simply brought her back to the mansion. Where a battle was going on between grandracmon's tiny army and the few dozen dokugumon and stingmon that remained loyal to arukenimon. The only problem with this being that Grandracmon was way more than a match for Arukenimon, so she was on borrowed time. Phoebe managed to fight passed the pain and crawl out of the mechanorimon. As she had come up with her own plan to defeat the monster.
"Arukenimon." She said as she approached the front line.
"Phoebe you're still alive?" Arukenimon replied, trying to maintain some focus on the battle.
"Grandracmon has a pokeball, you need to try to get it from him and take it to the others." She said.
"The others are still alive?" Arukenimon asked. "I thought he killed you all."
"Really?" Phoebe asked. "You couldn't use your spies to check?"
"I didn't think about it." Arukenimon replied.
"I'll try to get his pokeball, but I can't guarantee it. It will be hard enough just for me to take him out." Arukenimon said. "I'm lucky if this isn't my last battle."
"It won't be, I promise." Phoebe said. "Mechanorimon, go get reinforcements."
And so the mechanorimon that brought her there took off and came up to me and the digibabes.
"PHOEBE SENT ME TO GET REINFORCEMENTS." It said in its overly loud, robotic voice.
"Oookay." I replied, wondering as to why.
"Let's go Kitty." I said as I held up my digivice for her to enter it.
"Saphira there's no point in staying here, you might as well follow us back in the other mechanorimon." I said as Kitty pressed a button on my digivice and entered it.
"Right." She agreed.
And so we took the mechanorimon back to the mansion, which is not at all where I expected Phoebe to be. Phoebe was staying out of the ongoing battle, but she still wasn't in a particularly safe place.
"Baby girl what's going on? This place isn't safe for you." I said.
"I know, but if we can get that pokeball from Grandracmon, we can defeat that monster thing by returning it." She said. "If it came out of a pokeball, it should be able to go back in."
"That would deal with it for now, but what about chikorita?" I asked.
"Well this can be a plan b." She insisted. "But we have to act now while Arukenimon is able to hold off his lizard and um, vampire men?"
"Devimon." I said. "I still don't know what the lizard things are." I had no idea why she called them vampire men, aside from a pair of fangs they looked nothing like vampires.
"Allright then, let's get that pokeball." I said. "Pheebles how much strength you got left?"
"Enough to go in, get the pokeball and get out." She said. "I'll be fine Cj, it's just a few cuts."
"Cj, I'm not like you, I can do this." She said.
"Yeah you're smaller than me, you'll bleed out faster than I will." I said.
"Cj we don't have time to argue about this." Phoebe said. "If I faint I'll owe you."
"Baby girl if you faint we might not be able to bring you back." I said.
"He's right it's not worth losing you for a backup plan." Saphira said.
"I promise I'll be fine." She said as she took my hands and looked me in the eye. "Trust me."
I didn't want to, but we were short on time, so I had to let her take us into the house. Once there we started to turn the battle in Arukenimon's favor. Stealing the pokeball from grandracmon was easy with all the chaos going on. One of Phoebe's shadow balls knocked it right out of his hand, before he could even think about what just happened Kitty and Saphira hit him from both sides, giving Phoebe enough time to grab the ball and get out of there while the rest of us stayed behind to help guarantee a victory for Arukenimon. Phoebe took one of the mechanorimon back to the others who were still inside the chikorita monster.
At about this time Claire managed to make it into the beast's stomach, where she found her chikorita partially fused to this monstrosity. It was alive, but barely conscious, firmly attached to the monster by a countless number of vines that had grown out from all over its body. Basically, chikorita itself was too weak to control the power of Ancient Trojamon provided by the statue, so its mind went numb which made it easy for grandracmon to manipulate, using it's Gorgon Eye ability, whatever part was in control of the monster was quickly turned evil, with chikorita just conscious enough to be aware of what was happening. Claire hugged it and tried to pry it away from the vines, but they wouldn't give. The vines hanging from the ceiling suddenly came alive and tried to pull Claire away from chikorita, but she wouldn't let go. While this was going on, Chikorita suddenly regained consciousness and tried to break free on its own.
"Can you stop it?" Phoebe asked Claire via telepathy.
"Phoebe? How can I hear you so clearly?" Claire asked.
"It's telepathy. Never mind that! Can you stop it?" Phoebe asked.
"These vines won't break." Claire replied.
"I got her pokeball." Phoebe said. "We can return it."
"Let me keep trying to save her first." Claire said.
"Ok, but eventually you're going to have to get out of there and help us fight grandracmon." Phoebe said before "changing channels" and telling Henry and Zari to come help us, as they were still hanging out inside the monster's head.
Phoebe stayed inside her mechanorimon and kept her distance from the monster, feeling weak due to her injuries, but she tried to keep in contact with Claire. She carefully curled up into a ball, trying to slow the bleeding as much as possible, thankfully it was slowing down. That didn't make it any easier for me though, trying to fight grandracmon not knowing if my wife would even be alive when it was over. Like the other dark kings, he was no pushover. Arukenimon and her team of insect digimon were still trying to fight through his horde of unknown reptilian digimon and devimon, so it was just me and the digibabes trying to take him on for the time being.
"What did you do to chikorita? And where's totodile?" I asked after the fighting slowed down for a moment.
"Simple, I tricked it into breaking the statue, it got mutated by the essence of one of the legendary warriors. Then I turned it evil." He said. "As for the location of the other one, it's in my dungeon in the basement, not that it matters, all you humans and your digimon will die today."
Henry and Zari arrived a few moments later, though they couldn't help much as they couldn't get inside the building with a huge battle going on outside. We only just noticed they were there when Arukenimon's forces finally started to break through. Going full coward, when only a handful of his goons were left standing, grandracmon release an ear-splitting scream, which stopped all the fighting for a brief moment, then he seized the opportunity to escape by plowing through the back wall of the mansion, no longer interested in fighting, or so it seemed.
"Great now what's he going to do?" I asked.
"He's still a dark king, we have to end him before he causes more trouble." Kitty said.
"Well if you want to try to catch him go ahead." I said.
"Nyaaaah, he's too fast." Kitty replied. "He'll come back, this isn't over."
"Well ok then." I said. "Not much else to do here, let's see how Phoebe is doing. " I said as Henry, Zari, Arukenimon and company finished off the last of grandracmon's forces.
Meanwhile, Claire was still inside the monster, trying to save her chikorita. The vines were wrapping themselves around her and making it increasingly difficult for her to breathe, but still she tried to pry her pokemon free with all the strength she could muster. Chikorita, awoken by her pleading, was fighting it too. It decided to use its own razor leaf attack to cut through the vines attaching it to the monster, this was extremely painful for it, but not unsurvivable. Without chikorita the monster was a fully digital being, and without really being a digimon in its own right it quickly started to destabilize. It fell to the ground with a loud thud as parts of it began to dissolve into data, which coalesced into a ball of energy that, once the beast completely disintegrated, reverted back to the statue it had come from. The stubs all over chikorita body from the extra vines it had to sever to get free quickly dried up and fell off, essentially turning it back to normal. A weakened Claire seized it in her arms and hugged it as I arrived with two mechanorimon and the digibabes. Chikorita was tired, but alive and relatively cheerful given the situation.
"She did it, she stopped the monster." Phoebe said.
"I guess we didn't need plan b after all." I said.
"No, but it was good to have a plan b." Phoebe replied.
"Are you ok?" I asked as I tried to calculate just how many wounds she had from the damage and bloodspots on her clothes.
"I'll be fine Cj, most of the bleeding stopped." She said.
"Most of it?" I asked.
"Mhm, and you're going to have to help me clean it up too." She said with a certain look in her eyes.
"hehehe, okay." I replied.
"Did you beat grandracmon already?" Phoebe asked.
"Well um, about that." I began to say.
"He ran away." Saphira interrupted me. "We'll need to track him down later and ensure his destruction."
"Weird." Phoebe said.
"And he was strong too, Kitty could barely keep up with him and I had to keep my distance, but he just fled as soon as Arukenimon and the others started to make it to the door.
"Where are Henry and Zari anyway?" Phoebe asked.
"Finishing off the last of his army, then they'll probably search the house." I said.
"Do you think we could stay there for the night?" Kitty asked from my digivice.
"Um, I don't know, seems a bit too predictable." I replied. "If he comes back that'll be the first place he'll look. I mean unless you want to stand guard all night."
"No, not really." Kitty replied.
"Hey Claire do you want her pokeball?" Phoebe asked.
"Yes please." Claire replied as Phoebe went over to her to give her the pokeball.
"We should go make sure the others are ok." Phoebe said.
"I don't want to put her back in yet." Claire said.
"Ok, well, I guess we'll wait then, we can't leave you out here on your own since grandracmon is still alive." Phoebe said.
"What about the others?" Claire asked.
"They have Arukenimon to back them up." Phoebe answered.
"Chiko chiko." Her chikorita chimed in.
"What's that?" Claire asked.
"She says she missed you." Phoebe translated.
"Well I missed her too." Claire said.
"You two can have a reunion later, right now we should make sure Henry and Zari are safe." Phoebe said.
"I know, it's just hard." Claire replied.
"Well, return it for now and you can reconnect with it after we make sure everyone is safe ok?" Phoebe said.
"You're right, we really should check on the others." Claire said as she reluctantly held up chikorita's pokeball. "Sorry chikorita, we'll play more later ok?"
She returned her pokémon, our digimon went back into our digivices and then we took the mechanorimon back to the mansion. At this point all of grandracmon's goons had been defeated and the fighting was over. Henry and Zari left their mechanorimon outside and began to search the place. We left ours as well after we arrived and headed in to find them. Arukenimon's forces absorbed most of grandracmon's troops, only 2 were taken to big tree village to be held for questioning, but that was the least concerning thing at the moment. Henry was reunited with his totodile that was imprisoned in the basement, but there was also another prisoner down there as well, an iceleomon that claimed to be one of the chosen. We didn't question this, his story matched up with that of our digimon, both of which agreed that his claim was plausible, and it would also have been strange for him to be the only other prisoner for no good reason. The real question was who would be his partner. This was going to be a huge inconvenience because without a digivice it was a lot more difficult to get back to the spot where we parked our vehicles as he couldn't fit in the mechanorimon. That said, we weren't ready to leave quite yet as we still had to track down Grandracmon, something he vowed to help with. So for a while it seemed he would tag along without a partner. When all was said and done and accounted for, Arukenimon showed us to a decent-sized village where we could stay the night and go looking for grandracmon the next morning. That night we had quite a large group gathered around the fire. Most of the attention was on Iceleomon the newbie, who had quite a story to tell. He came from the north, the far north where there are apparently many snow covered mountains as well as various beast and ice digimon. He tried to take on Blackmetalgarurumon, the dark king of the area by himself, but was quickly driven out of the place, so around the time Ophanimon contacted him he was already heading further south, on his way to the hotel, he travelled through the forest to avoid Darkdramon's over powered army that currently controls the wide open planes just south of the mountains, and stumbled across grandracmon, figuring he would be an easier target. Iceleomon once again tried to take him down singlehandedly, only for him to end up locked away in his dungeon just a few days before the collapse of the machine city and the death of HighAndromon. And he basically stayed there, waiting for grandracmon to execute him, until we came along. If Grandracmon's attention didn't get turned towards Claire and Henry's pokémon, he more than likely would have been tortured for information about the other chosen digimon, which he didn't have, and then executed.
-meanwhile-
"Dammit I knew I should have recruited more pawns." Grandracmon yelled in a fit of rage. "But vampyric digimon are so hard to find here. I can't fail deusmon like the other 3 they took down before me, and to do that, I will need some new blood."
Recruiting was easy for Grandracmon, thanks to his gorgon's eye ability which could turn any low level digimon evil, with mixed results on pokémon and humans.
"Where is my lieutenant?" He asked himself, he hadn't seen Myotismon ever since he arrived at the mansion to deliver Henry and Claire's pokémon. In reality he was homing in on him ever since he ran into the forest. Myotismon was weak during the day so he preferred to stay hidden. This was also the same cloaked digimon Zari saw in the alley all those days ago, not grandracmon himself.
"I saw everything." Myotismon replied. "You're right we should have recruited more."
"It was your job to recruit them you idiot. The mansion has been compromised, we need to find more recruits and take it back." Grandracmon said, not knowing we weren't even staying at the mansion.
"I wanted to ensure the statue was delivered properly, you know how treacherous bloodramon can be, anyway, can't we wait till nightfall?" Asked the sun-sensitive Myotismon "They aren't even at the mansion anymore anyway, I saw them head back into the forest, there's no knowing where they are now."
"We'll find them again, it's only a matter of time, but first we need to make some recruits." Grandracmon said. "Now, while you summon more of you brethren, I'm going off to the nearest village."
"But I can't summon anymore, the dark zone here on the flipside is a barren wasteland!" Myotismon said.
"Well then what use are you to me?" Grandracmon replied as he grabbed Myotismon by the throat.
"Easy, grandracmon, I'll, I'll find more, I promise. " Myotismon croaked while struggling to breath.
"Good, you better have at least enough to replace the others by the time I get back." Grandracmon declared. "Don't let me down Myotismon, I barely need you."
With his sole surviving unit in tow, Grandracmon sought out the nearest village in order to convert its residents into his soldiers. Something none of us were worried about because we simply didn't know he could do that.
While he was busy enslaving civilians, I took time to tend to Phoebe's wounds as Zari pulled whatever healing cream she could out of her armor, her vest was out and she was pulling it out of her boots now. Phoebe's dress was ripped up pretty bad, but she had some others conveniently stored in her digivice that she picked up when she was out shopping with Kitty. She just had to cut some slits in them to accommodate her psyhorn and she was good to go. After that was taken care of, Phoebe and I were lying next to each other on the grass, looking at all the possibly fake stars in the sky, knowing it wasn't over, but not knowing how quickly it would pick up again. Everyone else was scattered around trying to find their own place to sleep.
"Hey Cj?" Phoebe broke what had been about a twenty minute period of silence.
"Yes baby girl?" I asked.
"You didn't get hurt today." She pointed out.
"We didn't stop grandracmon either." I replied. "And besides, you got hurt, isn't that enough?"
"Well how hard can it be to stop him? We don't have to fight through his army again, Arukenimon killed them all." She said.
"You approve of that?" I asked, surprised she seemed to care so little.
"Not really, but without Arukenimon's help we couldn't even have found out where he was hiding." She replied.
"Yeah, true." I replied.
"And she thought we lost when she started to fight so she was fighting for her life." Phoebe added.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Allright baby girl, you wanna have some fun tonight?" I asked.
"No, not tonight, not until grandracmon is dead." She surprisingly refused. "But after he's gone, we'll have an orgy."
"No more orgies Pheebles, you're driving me insane." I said.
"Oh come on, just you, me, and all the pretty digimon ladies we've met since we got here." She replied.
"Pheebles this is going to have to stop, you know that right?" I asked.
"I know, but, why now, why can't it just stop when we get home and I can happily go back to being a mother to my sweet daughter and cute little baby boy?" She asked.
"Because you get jealous." I said. "You were jealous of Kitty even though you made me sleep with her in the first place. You're the entire reason she's my digimon!"
"That's because you started looking at her like you usually look at me." She said.
"But that would never have happened if I never slept with her. Why are we fighting about this again?" I asked.
"I don't know, I just want it to stop." She replied. "I just want you to hold me and tell me you love me."
"I love you Pheebles." I said as I wrapped my arms around her.
"I love you too big boy. I'm sorry I'm not as strong as you." She replied.
"Still using sex as a coping mechanism aren't you?" I asked.
"I can't help it." She said.
"We'll find a way to make it work Pheebles." I said. "If that's really the best you can do. I'm not giving up on you."
"Ohh Cj." She replied.
"I love you baby." I declared.
" love you, so much." She replied as she struggled to hold back her tears.
"Then I guess that settles it, after grandracmon dies, we're having an orgy." She said.
"Now Pheebles I didn't mean, ugh, you know what? We'll deal with it when we get there, I'm tired, goodnight." I said.
"Goodnight big boy, get ready to see more boobies at once than you've ever seen before." She whispered as I closed my eyes.
"Why would I need that when I could just bury my head in yours?" I replied.
She didn't say anything in response, she just softly kissed me on the cheek a few times before trying to get some sleep for herself.
