October 4th, 1957: Sputnik, the first man-made satellite, launches. This marks the beginning of the Space Race.
April 12th, 1961: Yuri Gagarin becomes the first human in space.
January 14th, 1966: Sergie Korlaev goes into surgery and comes out unscathed (in a dystopian timeline, he dies, and humanities advancement was slowed)
June 26th, 1969: Alexi Lenov becomes the first man on the Moon
October 12th, 1973: First Moonbase, Jamestown, is created
February 8th, 1995: Lee Jung-Gil is the first man on Mars
March 30th, 1997: The M7 Alliance is formed
October 7th, 2003: Asteroid is moved into orbit of Mars
2007:
April 11th: Crashed spacecraft is discovered by a Helios mining team looking for aluminum 40 km away from Happy Valley. Immediately contacts Happy Valley with their discovery and begins initial exploration, making it as far as a massive and heavily damaged cargo bay before being contacted by Happy Vally and ordered back. Information is sent to Earth and Happy Valley is ordered to investigate.
April 12th: An expedition is sent to the vessel consisting of multiple workers and a security team. The expedition manages to explore the majority of the ship, though some areas are blocked off and inaccessible.
April 14th: Unknown substance is recorded in the spacecraft by the expedition and samples are sent to Happy Valley, though not before several expedition members are exposed to the substance.
April 15th: Existence of the spacecraft is leaked and the population now knows of its existence. Chaos erupts around the world; celebrations, panaked prepping, and riots begins across the planet.
April 16th: UN session sees the M7 confirm the discovery. Testing of the unknown substance begins at Happy Valley, discovery several interesting properties.
April 18th: Expedition members exposed to the unknown substance begin to show symptoms similar toradiation poisoning.

2008: Spacecraft discovered, International Space Exploration Alliance formed as a successor to the M7 Alliance. Method to detect eezo is found
2010: First eezo spacecraft created
2015: Colony started on Ceres. Stargazer Station, a space hotell meant to be the largest space station in the system, begins construction. The Station Race begins.
2018: Colony setarted on Venus and Ganymede, preparations for further Jovian expansion begins. First independent colony besides Heleos and ISEA is set up on the moon.
2020: Mars celebrates reaching a population of 1,000
2022: Major gas extraction begins on Venus,
2024: He3 extraction from Jupiter begins. First non-newtonian eezo flight occurs, FTL is achieved after an hour of acceleration. First manned FTL flight happens later in the year.
2025: First Eezo Drive transports begin moving materials between Earth and the colonies and spacecraft begin travalling across the system
2027: First attempt to send a probe to another system, Probe Acelerates to 1.5 c and heads to the Alpha Centauri System. Due to the limitation of the probe, it will not return and instead send a light-speed signal to Sol after reaching its destination. First FTL Courier is created.
2028: ISEA announces a manned mission to Alpha Centauri in anticipation of the response of the Probe begin; the plan calls for the Ennterprise to explore the system and set up the infrastructure for more in depth exploration.
2029: Stasis is invented to help with long travel times. Interstellar craft begins construction, planed to be the larges spacecraft in history. Inproved probes are sent out to systems near Sol, still not returning to Sol and sending the information back at light speed.
2030: Caving to popular demand, the name of the interstellar craft is officially changed from Voyager to Enterprise
2034: Probe confirmation signal is received and data is sent about the system, though limited. Enterprise begins its journey. Mark III probe begins to be sent out. The construction of five more Enterprise class exploration ships is announced
2036: Enterprise arrives in Alpha Centauri and begins exploration.
2037: Early in the year, the Enterprise begins construction of infrastructure for more in depth exploration and colonization, before heading home.
2038: Enterprise returns home, its crew becoming heros. The five new ships are completed to a slightly inproved design and sent out to nearby systems.
2041: Foothold colony is set up.
2042: Helios unveils its Pathfinder class Colony Ships, which allow any group that can afford one the chance to colonize another system. A dozen are ordered before the anouncment day ends. Five more Enterprise class vessels are completed; the Block 2 vessels have improved capabilities over the Block 1s. Garden Worlds are discovered in both the 9352 Lacaille and Tau Ceti Systems, ships are sent to both. This increases orders for Pathfinders.
2045: First Pathfinders are delivered and head out into the void, Age of Colonization begins. First interstellar independent colony is founded in Alpha Centauri. Five more Enterprise class vessels are completed; the Block 3 vessels have improved capabilities over the Block 1s and 2s. Production of the Enterprise class end and the ISEA begins research into a improved design. ASC (Alliance Spacecraft) Voyager arrives in the Tau Ceti System while the ASC Venture arrives in the Lacaille System, exploration of both systems begins in earnest.
2047: Pathfinders SS Deseret, SS Demeter, and SS Journeyman arrive in the Lacaille System while the SS Hermes, SS Joseph Smith, and SS Emma Smith arrive in the Tau Ceti System. The Voyager and Venture are still in the systems and attempt to stop the colonists from landing on the Garden Worlds, but fail. Tragedy strikes when one of the Morman colonies is almost extermanated by a type of hostile bug on Demeter (the world in the Lacaille System).
2054: Probe sent to the Arcturus System reveals massive alien structures in the system. A ship, the ASC Einstein, is sent to investigate (the Block 2 vessel taking a little over four and a half years to reach the system).
