-chapter 66, Three goddesses, one hot spring-
Zari took charge after we left, and tried to keep everyone moving northward. Just like with our side of things, the next few days were pretty uneventful. Anyway, we made it back to the desert, passed indramon's fortress, and eventually we made it further south than we had ever been before, and then we kept going south. The ground got sandier and sandier until the sand became too deep to drive through. Which led to us wasting a few hours trying to push Henry's car back to shallower sand so we could turn towards the west, in order to go around the massive sand pit and dunes the Camaro was not equipped to handle, though it wasn't like our bus would've made it any further. Thankfully with 3 mechanorimon and 2 mega level digimon babes this was a lot easier than it could have been. A few more days travel and we were heading south again. The background temperature went up to about 90 degrees, but would drop back down to around 55 at night, at the coldest, however as we continued south both of these numbers went up until it was about 100 during the day and 65 at night, during the day, we left the car as little as possible. Only at night would we stop for a while just so we could get out and walk around, and I could play with my girls in the sand, which was almost like a beach, but, so, so dry. Thankfully Saphy could help with that. Though she was kind of grumpy about being a fourth wheel.
One night, I was just laying there with them, looking up at the stars, the sand was insanely fine and pure.
"Do you think those stars are real?" Phoebe asked.
"No idea." I replied.
"Why wouldn't they be?" Kitty asked. "We can see them."
"You know what that would imply though?" I asked.
"No." Kitty said.
"It would mean that this digital world is just a planet in a whole other universe." I said. "And somewhere out there, there could be another planet containing digimon as well."
"Do you think our home is out there too?" Phoebe asked.
"I doubt it, that wouldn't explain why so many things and digimon can outright violate the laws of physics." I said.
"Well if they're not real then what could they be?" Kitty asked.
"Well, just an image, basically, this entire world could be surrounded by a dome with an image of stars projected onto it like in a video game." I said.
"What's outside of the dome?" Phoebe asked.
"Nothing, just empty space." I said.
"So it's almost the same either way." Phoebe said.
"Almost." I replied. " Except it really is just empty space, no distant stars, planets, or anything. This world is just a vast, but finite plane of existence surrounded by an infinite plain of nothingness."
"What do you think Saphy?" Phoebe asked.
"I don't know, but I really want to ask Ophanimon." Saphy replied.
"Yeah, I guess she would know wouldn't she?" Phoebe asked.
"Of course she would, this is her world after all." Kitty said.
Another few days and we came across a populated town, the resident digimon there knew very little of the outside world, and consisted mostly of palmon, salamon, and armadillomon, with a handful of agumon, togemon, hawkmon, and yanmamon, and a small amount of other, seemingly random rookies.
Sadly, they didn't know anything useful, so we didn't stay very long, the heat wasn't helping in this matter.
As we traveled further south, a huge cloud of smoke appeared on the horizon, and only got bigger as we continued, the sand got shallower and shallower until the ground turned into a dry grassland, with the grass only getting marginally thicker as the huge cloud started to obscure the sun. The background temperature dropped to about 80 during the day for a little bit, just because of the obscured sun, but eventually it went back up to 100, even though the sun was more and more obscured, at this point, more heat was coming from the ground itself rather than from the sun, and the sky was perpetually grey. It was a dreadful looking place, and ash constantly rained down from the sky, originating from a giant volcano, which was so far away it could not even be seen as the smoke became thicker further south until it became pitch black near the horizon. Eventually we came across the ashen village, which couldn't have had a more appropriate name as the houses were covered in the stuff, the village was built around an underground water source, and interestingly enough, a hotel with a hot spring, which Saphy was excited to try out, so of course the rest of us did too.
"Are you sure this is a good idea Cj?" Phoebe asked.
"Well we came all this way and we haven't yet found a dark king so we might as well have a little fun." I said.
"Yeah come on, I've been out of the water way too long." Saphy said without any of her usual grumpiness.
"I haven't been out of it long enough." Kitty replied.
"Oh relax Kitty Kat, the water will be hot, it's not like the pool back on the ship." I said. "And I got both my ladies wearing bikinis."
"Also I know we don't get thirsty here, but seriously I would kill for an ice cold beer right now, hell I would settle for Ice cold water." I replied.
" I agree, Ice cold water sounds amazing right now." Phoebe said.
"I'll settle for any water at all." Saphy replied.
"Warm milk." Kitty replied.
"Well the cabbages can probably do that for you." I said as everyone looked at her like she was crazy.
We made it to the spring, Saphy wasted no time diving in, Phoebe kicked off her flip flops and climbed in after her, then I got in and more or less pulled Kitty in with me otherwise who knows how long she would hesitate to enter.
"Why did you do that?" She asked.
"So you would just come on in already." I replied as I pulled her close.
"You mad?" I asked.
"You know I hate this." She replied.
"I know, but you're already wet so you might as well stay in here." I said. "Or you could just leave me alone with Pheebles and Saphy and see how that goes."
"What are you two talking about over here?" Phoebe said as she came up behind me and wrapped her arms and legs around me.
"What are you jealous?" I asked.
"Maybe." She replied.
"Well don't be, she's mad at me because I didn't let her stare at the water for fifteen minutes before getting in." I said.
"No I'm mad at you because you pulled me in with you." Kitty said.
"Awe, come on now Kitty Kat this is supposed to be fun." Phoebe said.
"Yeah babe, you know all you have to do is digivolve and you'll be dry again, so what's the big deal?" I asked.
"I guess you're right." She agreed.
"There you go, now Pheebles is there a reason you're clinging onto me for dear life?" I asked.
"Because I wuv you." She replied.
"Now mush." She said as she gently kicked me in the side.
"Excuse me for a second babe." I said before I fell backwards and dunked my beloved into the water before quickly turning around and pulling her into a kiss.
"Oh Cj." She said as she looked into my eyes for a moment.
"Bad ponyta!" She said as she head-butted me right in the nose, and escaped.
"Owe, Pheebles, what the hell?" I said. As Saphy just stood there laughing.
"Are you ok?" Kitty asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied only to be struck seconds later by a massive wall of water.
"Pheebles!" I said.
" I guess we've been traveling way too long." I said.
"Yeah we have." Phoebe whispered into my ear, having teleported the moment I looked away.
"Pheebles, geeze don't do that." I said as she clambered onto my back again.
"Well I need to make sure I didn't hurt you." Phoebe replied.
"By climbing onto me again?" I asked.
"You know I can just do the same thing again." I said.
"But now we're by the edge and you could hurt me." Phoebe said.
"Well then I'll move away from the edge." I replied.
"Then I'll splash you." Kitty replied as she attempted to do so, but basically just ended up splashing me.
I took a few steps forward but she teleported off of me before I could fall back again, then she teleported in from of me and pulled me into a kiss.
"You going to headbutt me now?" She asked as she looked into my eyes.
"No, but I am going to fuck you silly later you fucking crazy girl." I replied before she kissed me again.
"You better." She said.
"Not right now." Kitty said.
"Well of course not, later." Phoebe said. "Right now we need to splash you because you splashed Cj earlier."
"So? You splashed him earlier, on purpose!" Kitty said.
"So? It doesn't matter now, we teamed up!" Phoebe said.
"We did?" I asked.
"Didn't we?" Phoebe said as she looked at me with her baby doll eyes.
"Fuck, yeah I guess we did." I said.
"I'll help you." Saphy said.
"No help Kitty she needs it." Phoebe replied.
"Ok fine." Saphy said.
"Well we're screwed." I replied.
"Are we really though?" Phoebe asked as she briefly used her powers to demonstrate the fact that she can manipulate the water.
"As long as this water is here I guess we're ok." I replied.
-one stupidly over the top splash fight later-
The hot spring was now only about half full and there was water everywhere, though it was slowly refilling.
"Ok I think that's enough splashing." I said as both Phoebe and Saphy were exhausted from using their powers.
"Did we win?" Kitty asked.
"Nobody won, it's a splash war of attrition." Phoebe said.
"What does that mean?" Kitty asked.
"Nobody won." I replied. "Let's just relax now."
"Ok." Kitty said.
"Come here Kitty Kat." I said.
"Ok." She replied as she came over to me.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Nothing, I just want to snuggle with my babes for a moment." I said as I put my arm around her and Phoebe.
"Don't snuggle with her she's the enemy." Phoebe said.
"War's over Pheebles." I replied.
"Ohhh, fine." She said. "Saphy, do you agree to a ceasefire?"
"Yes." Saphy replied.
"Ok then." Phoebe said. "Cj, commence snuggling."
I laughed for a moment before pulling them both close.
"Saphy I'm sorry if we're making you feel left out." Phoebe said.
"It's ok I'm fine with just being your digimon." Saphy said.
"Well I'm glad to have you as my digimon, you're cute and the support you provide is invaluable." Phoebe said.
"Thankyou." Saphy replied.
"See she can be really sweet one moment, and the next she's head butting you for no reason." I said to Kitty.
"I see." Kitty agreed as she nodded her head.
"I said I was sorry." Phoebe asked.
"You still did it on purpose." I replied.
"You dumped me into the water." Phoebe said.
"You tried to ride me like a horse!" I said.
"While you were talking to Kitty about why you pulled her into the water." Phoebe said.
"That had nothing to do with you." I said.
"I know." She replied.
"This conversation is stupid." I said.
"Yes it is." She agreed.
"Guys there's somebody coming." Saphy said.
"What the?" I turned and looked and saw a female humanoid digimon wrapped in a towel, without any clothes she was practically human.
It's not even an exaggeration, for whatever reason many ultimate and quite a few female mega digimon have near perfect bodies. The reason for this is unclear, aside from humanoid forms being highly evolved, thus perhaps, somewhere, in all the chaos of the code that makes up the digital world, digivilution itself has a natural tendency to steer towards said forms. Which is why you have things like cats and cactuses eventually digivolving into gorgeous women, but I don't know for sure. My guess is surely just one of many thousands of attempts made by many more thousands of individuals in an attempt to explain the chaotic nature of a thing that could very well prove to be beyond mortal understanding in its entirety.
"Is she even a digimon?" Phoebe asked.
"She's naked." Kitty said.
"She's probably an ultimate or a mega, but without any clothes to identify her, it's kind of hard to tell what she is exactly." I said.
"She's sexy I'll tell you that much." Phoebe said.
"Like pretty much every female mega." I replied. "I thought most digimon didn't even know they could get naked."
"I thought so too." Phoebe said as we both ogled at her form.
"Why is there a boy on the women's side?" She asked, still wearing her towel.
"He's with us." Phoebe said.
"It doesn't matter, he's not supposed to be on the women's side, those are the rules." She said.
"Why are you naked and how did you learn you could get naked?" Phoebe asked.
"What?" She asked.
"Your skin, she wants to know how you learned you could remove it." I explained.
"Oh, it was just a natural result of coming here. I realized I could feel water on some parts of me, under some parts, I could not." She replied.
"What kind of digimon are you?" I asked.
"I'm a Mervamon, now get to the other side." She said.
"What?" Saphy said.
"Why don't you get to the other side? There's nobody over there." Phoebe said.
"But that's the boy's side, it's against the rules." Mervamon said.
"What rules? There's no rules." I said.
"Just get out." She demanded.
Phoebe responded by using her powers to pull down her towel, exposing her gloriously naked body for all of us to see.
"What the? Ah!" She asked, surprised as she scrambled to recover herself with the towel.
"Woah." I replied.
"Don't you dare look." Mervamon said.
"Dam Kitty, her boobs might be bigger than yours." I said.
"Well yeah duh." She replied.
"I meant your other form." I said.
"Oh." She replied. "Wait a minute!"
"You'll pay for your insolence." Mervamon said before Kitty could say anything as she bravely ditched the towel and took a fighting stance, despite being naked.
"I'm going to warn you lady before you try anything stupid these two amazing babes can digivolve, and my baby girl over here is pretty damned strong too." I said.
"Did he just call me a babe?" Saphy asked.
"Yeah, he did, he does that." Kitty said.
"Well, you are." Phoebe said.
"Um thanks." Saphy said, embarrassed.
"Why don't you fight me yourself coward?" Mervamon said.
"Why don't you just go to the other side like a reasonable person?" Saphy said.
"We were here first." Kitty said.
And then Phoebe went ballistic.
"Cj is not a coward do you have any idea how many times he's almost died trying to fight things he can't possibly win against? Do you have any idea how many times he's nearly given me a heart attack because of how badly he's gotten himself hurt? If anything I'm a coward because I'm terrified to let him fight alone! And you're a coward for trying to pick a fight with the only one of us without any powers." Phoebe said.
"Actually that's not entirely." I tried to say.
"You be quiet I'm trying to keep you from getting hurt." Phoebe interrupted me.
And so I was quiet, and absolutely terrified about where this situation was headed.
"Kitty, come here." I said as Phoebe continued to rage.
"What?" She asked.
"I just want to hold you for a moment." I said.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yeah." I said.
"Ok." She said.
"Thanks babe." I replied as I held her close.
"Mhm." She replied.
Meanwhile Saphy slowly sunk down into the water, where she could block out the whole world.
"And furthermore how dare you interrupt the fun we were having? You're not worthy of that body!" Phoebe finally ended her tirade.
"Well, that was interesting." Mervamon said.
"Get lost." Phoebe replied.
"If I leave, I'm coming back with my equipment." Mervamon replied.
"Go ahead, we'll kick your butt anyway." Phoebe said.
"I'll bring my friends too." Mervamon said.
"Yeah, whatever." Phoebe replied. "It won't make a difference."
Mervamon turned around and quietly left.
Phoebe turned around and saw me making out with Kitty.
"What are you two doing?" Phoebe asked.
"I thought we were all going to die for a second and you were busy causing me to feel like that, and Kitty was here, so." I explained.
"Oh no, oh Cj I'm so sorry, but she threatened you." Phoebe said.
"Yeah well, that's no reason to go full nuclear." I replied.
"I'm sorry." She said as she came over and hugged me.
"What did I miss?" Saphy said as she came back up.
"She left, she's coming back with her clothes and her friends."
"Great so we're screwed." Saphy said.
"Why? It's a probably just a few rookies, no big deal." I said.
"She's one of the Olympos twelve." Saphy said.
"The what now?" I asked.
"Former god digimon, ruled this place many, many reformations ago before the three archangel digimon took control." Saphy said.
"Huh?" I asked, completely confused.
"She was a goddess?" Phoebe asked. "I'm kind of disappointed."
"Don't be silly Saphy, she can't be thee Mervamon." Kitty said.
"Well other Mervamon have appeared on occasion as well as multiples of the others, but, either way, it's really rare, and, well, given that she knows she can get naked, I think, she's been around awhile."
"Well she's an ultimate that kind of comes with the territory doesn't it?" I asked.
"No she's a mega." Saphy corrected me.
"Fuck she's a mega?" I asked. "You couldn't have said this sooner?"
"Oh no I screwed up didn't I ?" Phoebe asked.
"Well it's still two megas and a ridiculously scary pokémon against one." I said.
"I'm not that scary am I?" Phoebe asked.
"Baby girl when you get that rage in you you're fucking terrifying." I said.
"Well I don't mean it." She said.
"I know, you're just trying to protect me." I said. "Even though I keep telling you I don't need you to protect me."
"Well you keep getting hurt so obviously you do." Phoebe replied.
"Like you never get hurt." I said. "You got tossed into the forest several days ago, I was terrified you got squished or something."
"So are we staying here until she comes back or?" Saphy asked.
"Kitty take him back to the room Saphy and I will handle this." Phoebe said.
"No." Kitty refused.
"Yeah, hell no." I said.
"I started this, I'll finish it." Phoebe said.
"No, if we die we die together." I said.
"And if I get hurt then maybe you'll learn not to go full nuclear on random strangers." I said.
"No, if you get hurt then I will go full nuclear." She replied.
"So now what do we do?" Saphy asked.
"Just sit back, relax and try to calm down a bit I guess." I replied.
"If you're not going to do it for yourself atleast do it for our kids." Phoebe said.
"Pheebles, I'm not going to leave." I replied.
"Besides, we got this." I said. "You've taken down a mega on your own before."
"It took almost all of my power." Phoebe replied.
"Yeah, but still." I said.
"Fine, do what you want, just don't get yourself killed." She said.
"This probably won't be a fight to the death anyway, they're not dark kings, and they don't seem to be affiliated with them." I said.
"They wouldn't, they'd never associate with something so wicked." Saphy said." The digital world is just as important to them as it is to Ophanimon."
"See we're probably ok." I said. "Hell you could probably just go and apologize."
"She threatened you, I'm not apologizing." Phoebe said.
"Oh wah she called me a coward so what?" I replied.
"She challenged you." Phoebe said.
"This whole situation is ridiculous." I replied.
Mervamon returned a few minutes later with her clothes and friends, Dianamon, a woman who was wearing so much armor it was hard to tell what she looked like exactly, and Venusmon, a blonde in a blindfold, who seemed to be more beautiful than she had any right to be, yes she was a looker, but I mean, her beauty itself was anomalous, also despite her eyes being covered she seemed to know where she was going, somehow. Her beauty was such that the other two might as well have not even been there.
"How the hell is she so gorgeous?" I asked.
"I don't know, but she's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." Phoebe said.
"And you had to go and piss off her friend." I said.
"Yeah I know, now we'll never get her naked." Phoebe said.
"Stop looking at her, idiots." Saphy said, while facing the back of the room.
"Can't, too sexy." I replied.
"Mhm." Phoebe agreed.
"Hey beautiful." I waved, awkwardly, just wanting to hear her voice.
"Venusmon, you really should wear more clothing. How are we supposed to fight them if they can't stop staring at you?" Mervamon asked.
"Doesn't that make it easier?" Venusmon said.
"She speaks!" I said.
"So beautiful." Phoebe added.
"Kitty digivolve and snap them out of it." Saphy said, realizing Kitty wasn't affected.
"How? My pants are back in the room." Kitty said.
"So? Digivolve anyway, you don't need them do you? So what if you're missing some clothes." Saphy said.
"Ugh, fine." Kitty replied before she began to digivolve.
"Now what?" She asked, now a Lilithmon missing a fair portion of the lower half of her outfit, awkwardly exposing her legs to about the knee, her bikini bottom was still wrapped around her legs, as she was standing in the water when she digivolved and it couldn't just fall to the ground as normal, so she took a moment to sort that out.
"Use your mind control, duh." Saphy replied.
"Maybe if I just ask them nicely." Venusmon said.
"No we're beyond that." Mervamon replied.
"Why? You just want him to go to the other side don't you?" Venusmon asked.
"Why is my friend so angry at you?" Venusmon asked.
"Because I didn't go to the other side and we saw her naked." I uncontrollably blurted out.
"Because I pulled down her towel and exposed her boobs." Phoebe added.
"YOU DID WHAT?" Mervamon asked, not knowing that little detail until now. "I thought that felt strange."
"I see. Thank you for telling me." Venusmon replied.
"Anything for you beautiful." I uncontrollably replied.
"Mhm, anything, especially sex." Phoebe said.
"Darkness love." Kitty said. "Look at me."
We both turned to look at her and Venusmon's spell was broken the moment we lost visual contact.
"Kitty Kat why are your legs naked?" I asked.
"Because I digivolved without my pants." She replied.
"Aww, I see." I said.
"Oh great a Lilithmon." Mervamon said.
"Mhm." Kitty replied.
"So this is going to be a bit more difficult than I thought." Venusmon said.
"So what she broke your spell?" Dianamon said.
"Yes, but for a persiamon or Lilithmon to be immune to it, you know the only one I've seen that was, was the great demon lady herself." Venusmon said.
"That's impossible." Mervamon said. "The great demon lords haven't been seen for eons."
"They think kitty is a demon lord." Phoebe said to me telepathically, with a giggle. I laughed in agreement that the notion was completely ridiculous. Behold the great demon lady that accidently microwaved somebodies pet neblong.
"She still has a pretty voice." I said.
"Yeah she does." Phoebe replied.
"Guys, don't turn around or Venusmon will make you stupid again." Saphy said as she diligently stared at the back wall of the spring.
"Awe fuck she did get us didn't she?" I said. "Sorry if I said anything to hurt you Pheebles."
"She got both of us, its fine. I'm sorry too, I love you Cj." Phoebe replied.
"I'm still here." Mervamon said.
"Yeah how are we supposed to fight you if we can't even look in your direction?" I asked.
"Right, Venusmon, go put on a towel or something." Mervamon said.
"Allright fine, have it your way." Venusmon replied before turning around and leaving.
"Why are we fighting again?" I asked.
"Are we even fighting, or are we just having a conversation?" Phoebe asked.
"You gazed upon my naked body." Mervamon said as she pointed to me.
"And if that wasn't enough, you exposed it." She said, pointing to Phoebe.
"So if we expose ourselves to you will that make it even?" Phoebe asked.
"No it will not make it even! I am a goddess, you are just a bunch of mere-mortals and a demon lord." Mervamon balked angrily.
"Well what if Kitty exposes herself to you then?" I asked.
"NO, not even, that's an insult to even suggest such a thing that your actions could be made right by allowing me to gaze upon the nude form of such a foul beast." Mervamon said.
"What?" Kitty asked
"Oh you really shouldn't have said that." Phoebe said.
"Saphy, you might as well go ahead and digivolve." Phoebe said.
"Right, of course Pheebles." Saphy said.
"You have no fucking idea lady. You think just cause your some goddess your some real hot shit that oughta be worshipped, where the fuck have you been? Dark kings have been slaughtering civilians left and right and what are you doing, you're just fucking chilling out here in some hot spring, and then you try to kick us out while having a good time after traveling out here for nearly a week non-stop to take on more dark kings that might be out here, fuck if you would just stop fucking around for no reason probably having a fucking pitty party cause you're not in charge any more than maybe Ophanimon wouldn't have needed to recruit us for this fucked up mission and we could have been closer to getting back to our kids by now. But enough of that, what really pissed me off is what you just said about Kitty, she's done way more to save this world than you have." I said while Saphy digivolved to Oceanamon.
"Ophanimon is a hack that deserves to rot in the dark zone." Mervamon said.
"How dare you speak such blasphemy! And I am not a beast!" Kitty said.
"Ha, so you're not the demon goddess! You're just a run of the mill Lilithmon." Mervamon said.
"I'm back, what did I miss?" Venusmon asked as she returned, wearing a towel, covering her already clothed body and limiting her powers even further.
"Things are only getting worse." Dianamon explained.
"NO, but I still have the power of one, and you deserve to get beat up!" Kitty said.
"Mervamon, she might not be the demon goddess, but she's still extremely strong. Don't let that ruin your judgement." Venusmon replied.
"Kitty you got the nazzar nail right?" I asked.
"Mhm." Kitty replied.
"Awesome." I said.
"Do we really have to do this?" Venusmon asked.
"Yes." Phoebe replied.
"They disrespected me!" Mervamon said.
"You're an Oceanamon?" Dianamon asked.
"Yes." Saphy replied.
"Interesting." Dianamon said. "You are a goddess of the sea, and I am a goddess of the moon, which controls the tides."
"Yeah well, we'll just have to see about that." Saphy replied.
"Kitty, I think it's only right you go for Venusmon since you're immune to her abilities." I said.
"And Phoebe and I will take Mervamon." I said.
"I'm sorry, but I refuse to partake in this fight, please respect that." Venusmon protested.
"Ok, fair enough." I said. "Kitty that means you're going for Mervamon too."
"I like that better." Kitty said.
"What? Venusmon!" Mervamon exclaimed in surprise. "You realize destroying these guys would hurt Ophanimon?"
"Yes, but we have bigger problems than that now." Venusmon said. "The dark kings are going around, slaughtering digimon by the thousands. The entire digital world could be at stake. These guys aren't gods, and they might be working for somebody we all hate, but they are heros."
"I don't care." Mervamon replied.
"Fight them if you must, but I won't help you." Venusmon said.
"Whatever." Mervamon replied. "Not like you're good at attacking anyway."
"With these looks I don't have to be." Venusmon replied before leaving.
"She seems nice, even without that body." Phoebe said.
"Yeah." I agreed.
"Why can't you be more like her?" Phoebe asked Mervamon.
"You didn't expose her naked body to everyone here!" Mervamon angrily applied.
"No, you were mean before that." Phoebe pointed out.
"You were breaking the rules by letting this man on the women's side!" Mervamon said.
"Do you think our heads would explode if we saw her naked?" Phoebe asked.
"I have no idea." I replied. "What would happen if we had sex with her?" I asked.
"I don't think either of us would last five seconds." Phoebe replied.
"What if we thought about her while we fucked each other?" I asked.
"Ooooh that's hot, that's really hot." Phoebe replied as we started to make out.
"You've got to be kidding me." Mervamon said. "Hello?"
"Kitty they're still under her spell." Saphy said.
" No, we just found a way we could bring each other even more pleasure." I said.
"Can't you make them forget?" Saphy said.
"Are you kidding if they're going to start screwing I want to be a part of this." Kitty said.
"Are they always like this?" Dianamon asked.
"They've been pent up for a few days." Saphy said. "We've been traveling almost non-stop to get here."
"Mmm, you know what's better than one venusmon?" I asked my beloved.
"Two venusmons!" She replied.
"Exactly, come here Kitty Kat." I said as I beckoned her to come closer.
"Yes sir venusmon." Kitty excitedly replied.
"Got my venusmon wife and our venusmon virara." I said.

"Why shouldn't we?" Phoebe replied.
"Because you've seriously angered me!" Mervamon said as she attempted to attack us, but Kitty saw this and moved to block her. Needless to say we stopped making out for a moment.
"No, you're not doing that." Kitty replied.
"How dare you block my attack!"
"How dare you try to attack my tamer!" Kitty exclaimed.
"Oh he's your tamer is he?" Mervamon asked.
"And husband." Kitty added, to Phoebe's annoyance, even though she let her say that, you could see the discomfort on her face whenever she did.
"Let go." Mervamon said.
"No, you'll just attack again." Kitty replied.
Her medullia, her snake-headed weapon that seemed to have a mind of its own, hissed in vain.
"Just keep it in a headlock Kitty Kat then it can't bite you." I said.
"Right." Kitty replied.
"You know I thought a goddess would be pretty strong, but it looks like Kitty can take her." I said.
"I was holding back!" Mervamon said.
"Then you shouldn't have any problem getting away from her." I replied.
"If we weren't in here I could use my full power." Mervamon said.
"Ok then." Phoebe said as she put hand on Kitty's shoulder and teleported the four of us outside of the building.
"What the?" Mervamon asked out of confusion.
"Pheebles what about Saphy?"
"I'll go back for her, you three stay out here." Phoebe said before she let go of us and teleported away before we could thing to stop her.
"I hate it when she does that." I replied.
"Now you're in for it." Mervamon said as she managed to pull away from Kitty.
"Kitty you're going to have to take her I don't have any weapons." I said.
"I thought so." Kitty replied.
I cautiously backed away as the two digibabes stared each other down.
"So you insist on protecting him?" Mervamon asked.
"He's my tamer, I have to, Ophanimon will be angry with me if I let anything happen to him." Kitty said.
"Where even is Ophanimon?" Mervamon asked.
"I don't know." Kitty replied.
"Then I guess your death will just have to be enough." Mervamon said.
"Oh come on really?" I asked.
"You have no idea what that bitch did to us. Her, churubimon and seraphimon." Mervamon said.
"Yeah so why are you going after us for it?" I asked. "We've never even met her in person."
"Um, Saphy and I have." Kitty said.
"And what happened to those other two?" I asked.
"They've been dead for a while." Mervamon said.
"When did they die?" I asked.
"The last god war for control of the digital world." Mervamon replied. 'They killed Jupitermon and Junomon and destroyed our home, they turned it into that caldera you can see glowing on the horizon. Without our leader and our home destroyed things quickly fell apart. "
"That's not true, Ophanimon would never do something that evil." Kitty said.
"In the name of ultimate power, you'd be surprised what some would do. They thought their way of ruling was better, and they were willing to kill for it." Mervamon said.
"So you three are the only Olympos twelve left?" I guessed.
"No, the others just moved further away. A lot of them lost faith in their abilities." Mervamon said.
"Do you really need to do this?" I asked.
"Yes, I have too, and then I might go after the dark kings myself, if Venusmon is worried about them, they must really be some sort of threat, and then, I'm going for Ophanimon." Mervamon said.
"No!" Kitty said.
"Allright then, don't hold back Kitty Kat." I said.
"Right." Kitty replied.
A few moments later Mervamon made the first move and they began to fight. Mervamon turned out to be insanely fast and her weapons were nothing to laugh at. This wasn't going to be easy.

"Are you going to fight or are you just going to stand there?" Phoebe asked. " I need to get back to Cj, so please make up your mind."
"I haven't decided yet. If you work for Ophanimon, then we should be enemies, but I have my doubts you know anything of the god wars." Dianamon replied.
"Actually, I've heard about them." Phoebe said. "It's in one of the books we found. It didn't say what happened other than Ophanimon took control several reformations ago."
"That is true, what it doesn't tell you is that she destroyed our home and assisted in the murder of Jupitermon and his lover Junomon." Dianamon said. "You know what they say, the winners write the history books."
"They were lovers?" Phoebe asked.
"She would never leave his side." Dianamon replied. "They were always together, even in death."
"That's just like me and Cj." Phoebe replied.
"I'm sure if she did so she had her reasons." Saphy said.
"Only for control of the digital world." Dianamon replied. "That's why they're called god wars and that's the only thing they are about."
"There has to be more to it." Saphy said.
"I'm sorry, but it's the truth." Dianamon replied. "The goddess you worship is nothing but a common murderer."
"LIES!" Saphy said as she attacked with one of her water jets.
"Woah, Saphy calm down." Phoebe said.
If you won't believe the truth then you will die here." Dianamon said as she assumed a fighting stance.
"Saphy is this really worth it?" Phoebe asked.
"If she is an enemy of Ophanimon then she is our enemy too." Saphy said.
"Ok then, I got your back if you need help. Until then you need to get more used to fighting on your own in this form." Phoebe replied.
"Allright then, have it your way." Dianamon said as she approached Saphy, ready to fight.
"You're tougher than I thought you'd be." Mervamon said. "Venusmon was right, you are strong."
"Thank you, I guess." Kitty replied.
"Come on Kitty, find an opening." I said.
"I can't." She replied.
A powerful stream of water erupted from the doorway of the hot spring building thing, forcing Dianamon out with it.
"What the?" I asked, somewhat surprised.
"Oh come on, I wanted to come out here so the hot spring wouldn't get destroyed." Mervamon said.
Dianamon quickly got back up and ran towards the entrance. Saphy emerged from said entrance before she could get there. And the two began to fight, generating a stupid amount of water, some of which turned to ice before quickly melting from the warmth of the ground.
"Still alive Cj?" Phoebe asked after teleporting behind me.
"What's it look like Pheebles?" I asked, somewhat annoyed by her sudden appearance.
"This is a mess." She said.
"Yeah it is." I replied. "We came here thinking there might be a dark king coming from the south, we weren't looking for goddesses, and we especially weren't looking to kill them."
"I know it's such a waste, they're so pretty." Phoebe said.
"Awe well, I got you, you're all I need." I said.
"Awwwe." Phoebe replied.
"What about me?" Kitty asked.
"I love you, but I could make it with just Pheebles if I had too." I said. "Sorry Kitty Kat, that's just the way things are."
"As long as you still love me too it's ok." Kitty replied.
"I'll always love you Kitty Kat." I said. "And you too Pheebles before you say anything."
"You three are worse than Jupitermon and Junomon." Mervamon said.
"Oh yeah they were in love too weren't they?" Phoebe said.
"You know?" Mervamon replied.
"Mhm." Phoebe said.
"I read about it in a book we found while traveling." She said, which was a lie, she really only knew because Dianamon told her just a few minutes prior.
"Must be an ancient book then, there's only a handful of digimon around that were able to witness the war back then. Most have forgotten." Mervamon said.
"Like it or not if you want Ophanimon we're the only way you're going to get to her." Phoebe said. "If she's even still alive, it's been forever since we've even heard from her."
"She probably got forced out of her pretty little palace, serves her right." Mervamon said.
"So really, trying to kill us, or our digimon atleast, probably isn't the best idea." Phoebe said.
"I guess you're right." Mervamon replied.
"So can we stop this silliness and just start over?" Phoebe asked.
"Are you going to follow the hotspring rules from now on?" Mervamon asked.
"Really, you're going to hinge all of this, on that?" Phoebe asked.
"Well that is what started all this." Mervamon said.
"You're going to help her kill Ophanimon?" Kitty asked.
"Kitty, the dark kings are way more important, we can figure that part out later." Phoebe said.
"Or, you could just wait until Ophanimon lets us leave this place and then you three can just do whatever the fuck you want with her." I said.
"But you'll lead us to her right?" Mervamon asked.
"Yeah, just don't kill her until she sends us halfway back home like she promised." I said.
"We really shouldn't." Kitty said.
"Kitty, do you love her more than me?" I asked.
"Of course not Cj." She replied.
"So we're cool then?" I asked.
"Well if she did do those things, then, I guess . . . " Kitty struggle to continue.
"She should be held responsible." Mervamon finished her sentence for her.
"Yeah." Kitty said while sadly staring at the ground.
"It's ok, the right way, isn't always the easiest." Mervamon said.
"Great! I'm so glad we could work this out, now, I'll go tell Saphy to stop then we'll go back to the spring and partake in the ritual to celebrate." Phoebe said before kissing me on the cheek and teleporting away before anybody could get a word in edgewise.
"Yeah, no, sorry, not going to happen." Mervamon said.
"Sorry, I love her, but she does that all the god damned time." I said. "You can just go back to your room, or your house, or, wherever you came from."
"You know, actually, it's been awhile, and, well, maybe it would be better if we all got to know each other a little more intimately." Mervamon said.
"I'll be back." She said as she turned around and walked away as I stood there in disbelief.
"She's good." Kitty said.
"Yeaaaaaaaahhhhhh." I said, unable to say much else.

"You're saying we should turn against Ophanimon?" Saphy asked.
"Yeah, for the time being, if what these guys are saying is true she's not as good as you and Kitty thought she was."
"Phoebe you've suggested a lot of crazy things before, but this? Ophanimon brought us together, she brought you here to deal with the dark kings, personally." Saphy said.
"She killed Jupitermon, and Junomon, and destroyed our home." Dianamon said. "The dark kings may be a more serious threat at the moment, but I guarantee you if Ophanimon finds out you plan to betray her, she'll snap at you too."
"If you guys get control of the digital world back will you have the power to send us to the other side of the multiverse?" Phoebe asked.
"Merukimon would know more about that than me." Dianamon replied. "Sadly I don't know where he or any of the others are at the moment, but more than likely if it's god hood that gives her the ability to do that, then yes, we would gain that ability by overthrowing her."
"Allright then, so we probably don't even need her." Phoebe said.
"That would be correct." Dianamon replied.
"But Phoebe." Saphy objected.
"Saphy it will be ok, I promise. Stop fighting." Phoebe said. "Anyway, though, in case we do need her, the plan is that you wait until after she sends us away, before you attack her. We'll lead you to her after we take down the remainder of the dark kings, but you still need to be patient Ok?"
"That will work wonderfully, I'm sure Venusmon and Mervamon would agree as well." Dianamon said.
"Great, now, according to gardevoirian customs, we must celebrate the formation of this treaty by engaging in ritualistic sex between the two parties partaking in said treaty." Phoebe lied.
"What?" Saphy asked.
"It's the truth Saphy, back in the village, when the rangers came there was a huge orgy." Phoebe lied.
"Ok." Dianamon said.
"So you're going to need to lose that armor." Phoebe replied.
"Ok, but it might take a while." Dianamon said.
"It's ok we have time." Phoebe replied as Dianamon began to remove her armor.
"Pheebles." Saphy scolded.
"Oh come on, it'll be fun." Phoebe replied as Kitty and I walked into the room.
"Did you get it sorted out?" I asked.
"Yep." Phoebe replied. "And now it's orgy time."
"How did you pull that off?" I asked as I noticed that Dianamon was removing her armor.
"It's a gardevoirian tradition Cj." Phoebe replied.
"It is?" Kitty asked.
"No it's not. Phoebe is just a horny weirdo." I whispered to her.

"It's not a tradition you know? She's just making it up to get you naked." I said.
"Well if she wants to see me that badly she can see me." Dianamon replied as she continued to undress. I went over to stand by Phoebe, Kitty followed me, and we watched her continue to undress for a good five minutes before she finally took her helmet off, turns out, under her armor, which is incredibly intricate and impressive to look at, she's just this cute petite chick with neck-length lavender colored hair and skin that is very nearly white but with a slight pink tinge, like if Illustria took a bath in a tub of bleach, but actually looking way better than that horrible analogy makes it sound. Of course, being a digimon, she has a lot more physical strength and durability than her form would suggest even without her armor, but still.
"Everything feels so light." She said as she stripped to her underwear. "I hope you like what you see, I don't take this stuff off very often. By now I shouldn't have to explain that it takes a while to do so."
"Awwe, don't worry about it, you're a total cutie. Be careful Saphy might get jealous." Phoebe said.
"I am not jealous." Saphy grumpily replied.
"Cj is Mervamon coming?" Phoebe asked.
"She said she would be coming back." I said. "I can't believe you pulled this off."
"I'm just really lucky I guess." She replied.
"You are lucky." I said.
"So you already worked things out with Mervamon?" Dianamon asked.
"Yep." I replied.
"Why don't you get started out here then, I'm going to take Kitty around back and have a bit of a private moment with her if that's allright with you." I said.
"As long as I get one later." She replied.
"Of course." I said.

"What's this about? " She asked.
"You're sad about having to betray Ophanimon." I said.
"Yeah, I know that." She replied.

She set the Nazzar nail on the ground and then she hugged me, which led to us making out. "But you really should just come to the other side." She said before teleported us all.

She looked over at the others for a moment, then at me for another moment, then she looked towards Kitty.

"Right ok." Kitty agreed before Phoebe teleported us back to the other side, leaving her behind.
"Pheebles." I said, not really knowing what to say.
"You going to undress me?" She asked. "It didn't feel right to let anyone else."
"Pheebles, after this no more for a while ok? Just you and me."
"I promise." She said.
"I love Kitty, but I need you." I said.
"I know." She said.
"I just need to know you still have some sense of self control." I said.
"Cj, it's all going to be ok." She said.
"Just take me here and we'll see what happens." She said. "If we tie here and never go back to the other side, I'm fine with that."
"Really?" I asked.

"We've been traveling for so many days, this is the first bed we've slept in all this time." I said.
"Mhm." Phoebe replied.
It was a huge bed as well, intended for large champion digimon, the frame itself was extremely overbuilt and made of very solid looking steel I-beams, we barely occupied a quarter of it. The ceiling was high, and the entryway was huge as well to match. All the rooms in this place were built with large-bodied digimon in mind, though some had multiple smaller beds instead of this giant, padded, dance stage of a thing. The mattress was also very firm, but the extra thick and heavy blankets made up for it, as they could be used as a sort of big heavy comforter.
"Let's just enjoy it for now, because the way things are going, we're just going to head back to the others anyway." I said.
"I know, if it wasn't for those goddesses we would've come all this way for nothing." Phoebe said.
"Are they coming with us?" I asked.
"I think so." Phoebe said.
"Well they'll have to take the mechanorimon, ain't no way they're all gonna fit in Henry's car." I said.
"Right." Phoebe replied.
"3 goddesses, 3 mechanorimon, it'll work perfectly." I said.
"Mhm." Phoebe agreed.
"Wait is Venusmon coming?" I asked.
"I don't know, she never came back after she left remember?" Phoebe asked.
"Yeah I remember." I said.
"She's kind of hard to forget." Phoebe said.
"That she is." I replied.

And so we laid there for a while until, as predicted, somebody came to knock on our door, so I got up, got dressed and went to answer it as Phoebe stayed in bed. I had to put quite a bit of weight in it to get it to open, and once it started opening it was a bit difficult to stop. It was so heavy there was a separate, smaller door, within the door, just so kid-sized rookie digimon could get in and out of the room, said door was way too small for normal-sized people and digimon to use, so of course we were forced to use the big one.
Surprisingly it was Venusmon, who had wrapped herself up in presumably another towel, so that only part of her face was showing, as she was wearing her usual blindfold as well. Even then it was awkward to speak to her, like the girl I had a crush on in high school. She is beauty incarnate, in the purest form the digital world can manage. Kitty was the only one of us seemingly immune to her abilities, either because she was secretly completely straight or, because she possessed powers of a similar nature. I was leaning more towards the second, because while I was with Aranea she had dated women on occasion, one of which that I remembered in particular "inexplicably" got pregnant, and yes I had to explain to Kitty why that shouldn't be possible, unless she was cheating on her with a man. That was not a fun day, and that wasn't the only time I had to talk her into getting out of a relationship with somebody that honestly didn't give a damn about her. She was clueless and way too trusting, and the universe was bound and determined to put her through the wringer for it. Her neediness annoyed Aranea to no end after we retired, as Kitty was frequently homeless despite having more than enough money to afford her own place and frequently had to stay at ours, she couldn't even figure out how to access her own bank account. That was a fun meeting to have with the bank when it came time to buy a ship.
Anyway, moving on.
"Go-good morning Venusmon." I said, as Phoebe watched us from the bed.
"Good morning, Mervamon and Dianamon said you all became friends and celebrated by taking part in the ritual last night?" Venusmon said.
"Yeah." I replied.
"And we're going to follow you and after we deal with the dark kings, you're going to get us close to Ophanimon?" Venusmon said.
"Y-yeah, so-something li-like that." I struggled to say.
"I'm glad to hear that." She replied with a smile.
"Eh- heh." I said, uncontrollably enamored.
"Can I come in for a moment?" She asked.
"Yeah-yeah yeah." I said as I let her in.
"Phoebe that is your name isn't it?" Venusmon asked as she looked at my baby girl.
"Yyes, y-yes it is, ven-venusmon." Phoebe said, it was weird seeing her so nervous.
"I just wanted to apologize that I couldn't take part in your traditional performance of the ritual last night, you must understand, with my powers, it just doesn't work. If I even made a mere suggestion of taking off my clothes you'd both be finished." Venusmon said.
"No w-we un-understand, I can barely see your face and I, I-can barely speak to you-you. " Phoebe said.
"But, but, wh-what if w-we couldn't, we couldn't see you?" Phoebe asked.
"Can I use your husband as a demonstration?" Venusmon asked.
"Yeah sure." Phoebe agreed.
"Close your eyes." Venusmon told me. "Keep them closed, don't open them."
"Yes maam." I replied as I did so.
She came up to me and kissed me on the cheek, which brought me and intense feeling of pleasure.
Another kiss seconds later did the same, and almost made me completely hard.
"You must be tired from last night." She said. "Most are finished by the second."
Another kiss and that was it, I orgasmed right then and there, fully dressed, all from just 3 kisses on my cheek.
"Holy crap!" I said.
"There see?" It doesn't matter if you can see me or not.
"I thought you were tired." Phoebe said.
"He is, that's why it took three instead of two like it normally does." Venusmon said.
"That's insane." I replied, someone more in control now.
"But now that you already got me off I can do this." I said as I pulled her close and kissed her on the lips.
"Arceus, Cj " Phoebe said as she got off on the sight.
Venusmon quickly pushed me away.
"Be careful!" She said.
"How the hell am I already hard again?" I asked.
"Too much and you'll get a heart attack." Venusmon said.
"Yeah, be careful Cj." Phoebe said.
"Though I should really be thanking you, I've never been kissed like that before. So."
She threw off her towel, exposing parts of her arms and legs, and I orgasmed again, and so did Phoebe just by seeing her back.
"Unbelievable." I said as she covered herself again.
"Just don't do that again, I'm serious, you could die." Venusmon said.
"Right." I replied.
"I'll be waiting in the lobby with the others, let me know when you're ready to go." She said.
"K." I replied as she walked out the door.
"Well that was insane." I said after she left.
"She got me off twice in ten minutes and didn't even get naked and didn't even touch me." Phoebe said.
"Well Pheebles, I think we've found the most gorgeous woman in all of existence." I said.
"I think so too." She agreed.
"And we can't even so much as get her naked." I said.
"Mhm." Phoebe agreed.
"Aww well, we still have each other." I said.
"Right." She agreed.
"I feel tired again." I said.
"Me too." Phoebe replied.
"I guess we'll just go back to snuggling." I said.
"Mhm." Phoebe replied.
"Maybe we finally found someone that can keep you satisfied." I said.
"Don't be silly, you keep me satisfied." Phoebe said. "We're just having fun, that's all."
"If you say so." I replied.
"It's the truth Cj." Phoebe reiterated.
She kissed me on the cheek and then we laid there in silence for a while, until Kitty and Saphy came to check on us, at which point we finally had to get up and get moving. We met the 3 goddesses in the lobby, talked to them for a moment as well as the clerk behind the front desk just to make sure there wasn't a dark king down here. We came to the realization that our southern excursion wasn't over yet, that we'd have continue south for a few more days, just to ensure we weren't missing a dark king.
The further south we went, the more the ground turned into what was basically cooled and solidified lava. The sun was basically gone, completely blocked out by the ash, but there was still a lot of light provided by the glow of a gigantic fiery lake filling up a huge caldera in the distance. You would think it would be a total hell scape, but surprisingly certain digimon loved it here. Agumon, greymon, flarerizamon, meramon and various other fiery and reptilian digimon all loved the warm environment. There were a few in the town, which meant that if a dark king did pass through here, it would've had to have been quite a while ago. The closer we got to the caldera, the brighter it became, though it never reached the level of brightness the sun would provide. It was also difficult to tell whether it was day or night. There was another village near the north side of the caldera, that was occupied mostly by meramon who didn't mind the extreme heat, we didn't spend long there, it was just too hot. Which might have been why said village was still intact. Perhaps the dark king had avoided it because of the heat, and maybe he was even smart enough to avoid the ashen village because of the goddesses?
Anyway, not satisfied with our search, we started to head east from the caldera, as the ambient light started to fade again. We kept driving until we were both about to collapse, and then we attempted to get some sleep, but the heat wasn't making things easy.
The goddesses were wanting to continue, but neither me nor Phoebe could keep our eyes open anymore and we were the only ones that could drive, and we couldn't stay awake long enough to instruct anyone else.
Once we got a measly few hours of rest we continued. The ground crunched under the tires like hard snow, with a sound that indicated it couldn't possibly be good for them, but they were holding out for now. As we got further away from the caldera the ground eventually turned back to ash and it went back to being cool enough to sleep comfortably, which we promptly took advantage of, still tired from the lack of sleep. Much to the goddesses annoyance.
The next "day" we came across a rail line and started to follow it roughly south, thinking it would lead to another village at some point.
By the evening, the environment we were traveling through was back to something resembling normal, we were back under the sun just in time for it to set, and the, black, ashen ground gradually gave way to green grass. As expected, the rail line led us straight to another village, and seemed to continue to the south as far as the eye could see, it probably led to the southern terminal at some point, but, since the town we had found was abandoned, we decided to start following it in the other direction, as we knew by now that the town's abandonment suggested the activities of a dark king. We hoped said dark king followed the rail line as well, which seemed likely as the rail lines were guaranteed to lead to a town at some point. It made more sense than just aimlessly wandering through the vast barren landscape. Spent a day on the outskirts of the ashen lands again before the line eventually turned east and headed deep into what seemed like some sort of savannah, where the grass wasn't really sandy, but just barren with little plant life. We came across another village sometime late that night, when were just about to quit for a few hours so we could rest. We slept by the car in sleeping bags, too tired to look for a hotel. Our digimon as well as the goddesses, however, weren't nearly as tired as we were, so they headed into the village looking for a better place to spend the night, leaving the mechanorimon behind, which meant Phoebe and I were alone for once, and if we weren't completely exhausted from driving, we would have taken full advantage of it, but as things were we just snuggled together and fell asleep.
