Bacchusmon, chapter 76 -

Continuing from the last chapter.

Challana approached the door of the bus, ahead of IceLeomon and his wives who were taking their sweet time.

Eventually IceLeomon and his wives returned, and after letting his wives talk him into to letting Phoebe scan him with the data gun, which he was reluctant to do since the last time, not wanting to ever be a pandamon again, we scanned him and it surprisingly returned a valid number, which meant the error probably had to do with the usc's data injection treatment, which unlike the digibabes, he refused to undergo for similar reasons. The newbies returned shortly after with the goddesses and with no further enemy groups to report. So we were on the move once again.

"Where are we now?" I asked.

We spent the next several hours traveling until the terminal appeared as an ominous silhouette on the horizon around sunset, the place looked as empty as anywhere else from a distance as we approached, we continued to head towards it even after the sun went down, as we were so close.

Like many towns we had come across, a large wall of wooden logs surrounded the place, with a small entrance over the rail line, ahead of the point where it began to split into several more. The fact that zero guards were at the entrance didn't seem like a good sign, but once we carefully drove through the unguarded entrance all doubt was cast aside. The gate was also some sort invisible threshold, once we crossed it, the place looked so lively it seemed completely alien compared to anywhere else we had been for the past several weeks. Like the western terminal it took a form of a colossal shed with large platforms containing rows of buildings and many interconnected tracks heading inside it. The whole place was brightly lit, trailmon and various pieces of rolling stock were inside, digimon were walking up and down the platforms, noises of an actual, living city, could be heard. It was still quite far away as it took quite a bit of distance for all the rails to split up to accommodate the platforms, but it was beautiful.

"It couldn't be real, no, it couldn't be." I thought once we got to a point where it made sense to park and get off the bus, Zari parked outside the building this time, after Phoebe reminded her what happened last time. The dent on the roof was still there.

"I don't believe it either." Phoebe said to me after apparently reading my mind.

We all grouped up before heading for the nearest platform, with the goddesses leading the way or atleast they tried, as we were all kind of distracted by the sights and sounds of civilization that we had previously taken for granted. It seemed that digimon were safe here, for now atleast. The mechanorimon were left behind to guard the vehicles.

"So many other digimon." Kitty said.

"Yeah, it's nice to still see so many this far north." Saphy added.

"Is that, is that an actual ice cream shop?" I asked.

"I don't know, I could go for some ice cream though." Phoebe said.

"Not now, we need to find bachusmon." Mervamon said.

It was cold outside, but after several weeks in the digital world, the idea that there could be any food other than the magic cabbages was extremely attractive. What was stranger is why there was an ice cream shop in a place where it's basically winter, forever.

"Why don't you go find him, and then you can meet us later at wherever the closest hotel is from here?" Phoebe replied.

" Hmmph, fine, you're only going to slow us down anyway." Mervamon said.

"Allright, come everyone there's ice cream!" Phoebe said.

"We don't know that yet we haven't even gone inside." I said.

"Well why else would there be digimon in there?" Phoebe asked.

"Because it's their house." I suggested as we went through the door without knocking.

"Then why is there one behind the counter?" Phoebe asked.

"Well hell maybe it is real." I said as everyone but the goddesses filed in behind us.

"Arceus it's actual food!" Phoebe said excitedly as she marveled at the numerous tubs of ice cream on display.

"You eat colorful paste?" Saphy asked.

"It's not paste it's ice cream." Phoebe explained.

"Um, are you here to buy something or…." The clerk, an icemon asked.

"Do you have oran berry flavor?" Phoebe asked as everyone else started to look at the flavors as well.

"No." The icemon replied.

"That one is light blue." Phoebe said.

"That's cotton candy." The icemon replied.

"What about this orange one then?" Phoebe asked, knowing oran berries are somewhat similar to oranges in flavor.

"That is peach flavor." The icemon replied.

"Do you have orange?" Phoebe asked.

"Ran out yesterday." The icemon replied.

"Arceus." Phoebe said in disappointment.

"I'll have a double chocolate if that's ok." Henry said.

"Yes sir, coming right up." The Icemon replied before setting to work.

"I guess I'll just have regular chocolate then." Phoebe said.

"Ok I'll get it after this." The Icemon replied.

"Ok." Phoebe said.

"What's a banana?" Zari asked.

"Oh fuck, it's like um, let me think. You know of vinchellian spiderfruit?" I said.

Eventually everyone else picked a flavor and grabbed a table, and we paid for it with some data that was already on the data gun.

"Ugh, Cj this ice cream just tastes like flavored water!" Phoebe said, disappointed.

"I knew there had to be a catch." I said with a sigh after trying my own. I got cookies in cream, the cookies could probably pass for the generic oreos they were supposed to be, but the cream could not, so the whole thing tasted like cold, water logged oreos.

"Yeah this is not ice cream." Henry said.

"Yeah, no way, it's like there's no cream at all." Claire added.

"I don't mind it." Challana said, she got strawberry cheesecake flavor, which more than likely just tasted like a bunch of strawberrys and maybe a hint of vanilla in a puddle of water.

"Have you ever had ice cream before?" I asked.

"No." She replied.

"That's probably why then." I said.

"Selly? Lussy?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't like mine." Lussy replied. She went with what I think was some kind of strawberry kiwi flavor, pretty much just because of the name, she didn't know what either strawberries or kiwis were.

"It's ok, I guess." Selly replied, both her and Kiera went with vanilla, on the suggestion of the clerk since they never had ice cream before.

"It's weird." Kiera chimed in.

"I liked Yoxes better." Kitty said, referring to a similar shop back on Paloran.

"Yeah, that was pretty much actual ice cream." I said.

"I just wish it had more spice." Kitty said.

"It's ice cream it's not supposed to be spicy." I said.

"It was actual Ice cream? " Phoebe asked.

"Well it wasn't from cow's milk." I said.

"What was it from?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, something similar, but alien." I replied.

"I don't like it." Iceleomon said, he got cotton candy flavor of all things.

"Yeah, it's not that good." One of his wives said, she got peach flavor. While his other wife played it safe and got vanilla.

"I think it's ?" Ninjamon said, he got cherry flavor.

"Could be better." Saphy said, pecan flavor.

Eventually we had our fill of the not-icecream and left the shop, where we kind of split into smaller groups. As usual I was with Pheebles and our digimon.

"You think there's a movie theatre somewhere?" I asked.

"You want to see a movie?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know it was just an idea." I replied.

"Digimon don't make movies." Saphy said.

"Have either of you ever been this far north before?" I asked.

"No." Saphy replied.

"I don't know." Kitty said.

"It's probably a no Kitty Kat." I said.

"Ok, it's a no then." Kitty replied.

"So how do you know there's no theatre then?" I asked.

"Well you can look for one, but as long as I've been here I never heard of digimon making movies." Saphy said.

There wasn't one in our immediate view so we headed down the platform a bit, passing what seemed to be apartments and a few restaurants. With the only indication that this was still the digital world being that most buildings had multiple sizes of doors, and high ceilings to cater to multiple sizes of digimon at once. Eventually we came across a weapon shop, so we headed inside to see if they had anything useful. Inside was everything from generic swords, daggers, and battleaxes to digimon specific weapons, an intimidating, but apparently friendly meramon was behind the counter.

"Look at all the guns Pheebles." I said with a hint of excitement.

"Yeah I know, do you think we can afford them?" She asked.

"I don't know, we already have a few of them." I said.

"Do you think any would be of use to us?" Phoebe asked.

"Well, let me look around for a bit Pheebles we just got here." I said.

"Kitty you see anything you like?" I asked as she seemed to be extremely curious at the items on display.

"I think I'll just stick with my claws if that's ok." She said.

"Yeah that's ok." I replied.

"Some of these are so shiny though." She said.

"Yeah, they are." I replied.

We ended up finding out we couldn't afford anything useful so we left the shop empty handed. We didn't have that much free data loaded onto the gun, our digimon absorbed most of it and I was kind of afraid of what would happen if we tried to get some from them to spend because of the ominous ERR message the data gun gave when we scanned them. Would they cease to exist? Would the gun catch fire and permanently scar my hand until I would be able to get some healing cream? Would the entire universe collapse on itself? It was a question with an answer that was too risky to figure out.

"Can you take us to the frozen city?" Phoebe asked a trailmon we happened to find milling around. The terminals were also a sort of city designed for them, with a complex network of rails for them to move about pretty freely, form trains and converse with others. It's important to take caution when crossing the tracks, especially since there were more trailmon here than usual.

"I could, but I'm not leaving this terminal and no other trailmon in their right mind would either. It's not safe out there." It replied.

"Do you know the way though?" Phoebe asked.

"Go back to the mainline and keep following it, it will lead there eventually. It's still quite a few stops down the line." The trailmon replied.

"Ok cool." Phoebe replied.

-A few minutes later-

"Well now what should we do?" Phoebe asked.

"We could check out that clothing store." I said.

"Really, you want to look for clothes?" Phoebe asked.

"Maybe they have funny little digimon clothes." I said.

"Maybe." Phoebe replied.

"What do you think Kitty?" I asked.

"Kitty?" I said as I now noticed she was doing some window shopping on the adjacent platform.

"I wonder what got her attention." Phoebe said.

"Probably a ring shop." I said.

"Really?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, she's drawn to them like moths to a flame." I said.

"Kitty Kat? Did you find one you like?" I asked after I crossed the tracks to the other side.

"Frigimon." Kitty said as she looked into a picture of one on display, it turned out to be a photography store of all things.

"Yeah it's a picture of a frigimon, I fail to see your point." I said. Not at all what I was expecting to be on the other side of the glass.

"You know they are an ice type, there might actually be a real one hanging around here somewhere." Saphy pointed out.

"We don't need to find one right now I just saw this picture and well, there was this mudfrigimon that was pretty much the closest thing I ever had to a mom." Kitty explained.

"Do you think they sell working cameras in here?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, let's find out. Give you something to do." I said.

We headed in, a datamon with what looked like a polaroid camera took a picture of us the moment the door closed behind us. The walls of the shop were decorated with pictures of numerous digimon, many of which were taken at the entrance, as well as some of the terminal building, and one that appeared to be of big tree village.

"Hello and welcome to my shop where I teach the art of photography and sell professional photo equipment." The datamon said.

"So you're probably already familiar with how cameras work." The datamon said.

"Cool, most digimon don't, so I have to start them off by explaining the absolute basics." The datamon replied as it started to shake the picture it just took.

"So what cameras do you have for sale?" Phoebe asked.

"all of them." Datamon replied. "Do you have a specific model in mind?"

"Um Cj?" Phoebe asked.

"Polaroid?" I asked.

"Never heard of that one." The datamon replied.

"I think you're holding one." I said. "You know the ones that print out their own pictures."

"Oh, you must be mistaken this is a Quick print 5.0." The datamon explained as he showed me the camera up close, sure enough "Quick print" was branded on it where you'd think a Polaroid logo would be.

"I guess they go by a different name in this universe." I replied.

"Who knows?" Phoebe said.

"Does he really have every camera?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, you give me the make model, and even the year, and I'll get you one." Datamon said.

"So you know about every camera that exists in this world?" I asked.

"Well, the human world." The datamon replied.

"So you also have a good grasp on the history of photographic technology?" I asked.

"What are you getting at Cj?" Phoebe asked.

"We could stand to learn a few things about the human world." I replied.

"Haven't you been there?" The datamon asked, confused.

"No, actually, we're from a different human world where Polaroids exist." I said.

"Ummm, ok, you don't need to lie, it's quite rude." The datamon replied.

"It's not a lie." Phoebe said.

"You have any proof?" The datamon asked.

"We can show you a camera you haven't heard of before." I said.

"We can?" Phoebe asked.

"You have your phone on you?" I asked.

"No, why would I? It's been dead for a really long time. I left it on the bus, you know I don't have a lot of pockets." Phoebe said.

"You gotta start wearing jeans." I said.

"You know it's hard to find any that fit me." Phoebe said.

"Maybe we should check out that clothing store after this." I said.

"That's an excellent idea, they have quite a lovely selection." The datamon chimed in.

"Maybe we could get Violet a coat." Phoebe suggested.

"Maybe." I replied.

"Really you're still thinking about her?" Saphy asked.

"Well, maybe it will help her warm up to us a little bit." Phoebe replied.

"I think you should just let it go." Saphy said.

"I agree." I added.

" I can't and you both know that." Phoebe replied.

"Oh really?" I replied in disbelief.

"Yes." Phoebe said.

"Miss went without love for 100 years can't deal with a single digimon shutting her down?" I asked.

"Rrrrrrrrr, Cj. " She moaned.

"Oh just relax you crazy girl and let's get back on topic. This guy is just standing here watching us like we're a bunch of loonies." I replied.

"Ok." Phoebe replied with a sigh.

"No I'm not!" The datamon tried to defend itself.

"This may be a weird question but do you have any cameras with infinite battery life?" Phoebe asked once she regained her composure.

"Yes I can also get you one that doesn't even need batteries. They're all digital versions of human world models, if they have batteries in the human world they'll never run out here." The datamon replied.

"Can you show us all the different data format options?" I asked.

"What?" The datamon asked.

"The devices they save the pictures too?" I asked.

"What's that have to do with anything? Let's just get the best one." Phoebe said.

"Wouldn't it make more sense to try to get one that our universes have in common. So we can actually get the pictures off of it?" I asked.

"Yeah, that's true. If there is one anyway." Phoebe said.

"So you want digital then? Not film?" Datamon asked.

"If you have one in a format we've heard of before. If not, well I guess film is pretty universal." I said.

" So are quickprints, and unlike film these won't get screwy after you take too many pictures." The datamon replied.

"They get screwy?" Phoebe asked.

"They won't take pictures anymore until you replace the canister. Sadly they don't have infinite film and I can't modify them to do so because you can only fit so much film in the canister, best I can do is overwrite the pictures that have already been taken. Beyond that most film cameras were not made in anticipation of film canisters holding more than 99 pictures, so once the counter gets to 99 it just resets back to zero. But with Quickprints, they eject their picture every time, so it's merely a matter of tweaking them so it replenishes itself. "

"Yeah, but they aren't the highest definition though are they?" I asked.

"That's fair. At the end of the day the digital format is far superior, even without any anomalous properties." The datamon replied.

"Why don't you just start showing us different digital formats then?" Phoebe asked.

"Any particular place you want to start?" The datamon replied.

"We know absolutely nothing, so just pick one." I replied.

"Ok just give me a few minutes in the backroom to make a few things and then I'll be back to fill you all in." The datamon replied

"Ok that will work, we have some time, I think." Phoebe said.

"Some time." I agreed.

"Good, I'll be back in a bit then." The datamon replied before heading into the backroom.

Kitty came in a few seconds later.

"Are they closed? There's nobody here." She said as she looked around at all the photos on the walls.

"Yeah, we're just standing around in an empty store." Saphy said sarcastically.

"He just headed into the back to get a few things before you came in." I explained.

"Why are there so many pictures?" she asked.

"It's a photography store." I said.

"You think they have pictures of you and Ronnie?" Kitty asked.

"No, that, that's not how that works Kitty." I replied.

"It'd be really creepy if they did." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I agreed.

Datamon emerged from the backroom a few minutes later.

"In 1985 Nindako came out with the Type 1 cartridge system. It only held five megabytes at first but it was eventually expanded to 2 gigabytes before being phased out in the mid-nineties in favor of smaller cartridges. This camera is basically a v3 made to replicate a v1 for display purposes. The v1s didn't have a display screen on the back, just an lcd that indicated how many photos were on the cartridge." Datamon said as he showed a camera that was about the size of an original Gameboy, with a very similar looking cartridge slot on the back, and a large color screen next to it, a big grey plastic brick of a thing. A large battery compartment took up half of the front, with a camera lense on the other half. On the top was a pinkish-red shudder button you'd expect to see on a camera. And well as another button to turn it on and off.

"See the v1 was a pretty terrible camera only capable of taking 128x128 pixel monochrome images. By the time the v3 came around in the early 2000s it could do 720p High definition in full color and it had the advantage of the 2 gigabyte cartridges to boot." The datamon explained.

"This literally looks like a game boy but you switched the screen and battery compartments around." I said as I took a closer look at it.

I halfway expected the familiar Gameboy chime when I turned it on but instead it made a different chime entirely, one that I couldn't really place. It displayed the Nindako logo in full color for a few seconds before switching over to the feed from the camera on the front with a typical zoom indicator and battery gauge. An interesting thing, though I had never seen the cartridge system before, nor did I have a Gameboy cartridge at hand to compare them.

"I'm afraid I don't know what that is." Datamon replied.

"Handheld game console, came out on my world around the same time, from a company with the same name even. It was immensely successful." I said as I handed it over to Phoebe.

"So Nintendo exist in your universe too?" Datamon asked.

"Yeah, but it's mostly known for videogames and consoles, not cameras." I said.

"I see." Datamon replied.

"Pheebles does your phone have a card in it?" I asked.

"If mine does yours should too." She replied.

"I don't have mine on me." I said.

"I don't either it's on the bus, it's been dead for a long time." She replied.

"You want to go get it?" I asked.

"Ok, I'll be back in a few minutes." Phoebe said.

"When she gets back, we'll see if you have anything like what we got." I said as Phoebe left.

"Allright, sure." The Datamon replied.

Kitty was checking out all the pictures on the walls. Saphy was examining some pieces of equipment on the shelves, particularly a camera that looked like it was from the 1800s.

A couple minutes later –

Phoebe came back, breathing heavily and carrying her phone.

"Here, I looked it does have a card." She said as she handed it over to me.

"Yeah you have anything like this?" I said as I handed the datamon the pokémon world's equivalent of a micro sd card, a CCCDCM. Celadon Computer Companies data card micro. It was like a microsd but slightly thicker with smaller pins. Just different enough to not fit in a microsd slot.

"You weren't kidding about being from a different world were you?" The datamon said as he quickly realized both her phone and its card weren't from the human world he was familiar with.

"Does it work?" Datamon asked.

"It did when the battery wasn't dead." Phoebe said.

"Finding compatible chargers is hard." I added.

"Sorry I can't help you with that." Datamon replied. "I've never seen a phone like this before."

"You know all about phones too?" Phoebe asked.

"Just the ones that have cameras, I don't sell them though. I'm not a fan, they keep threatening to make cameras obsolete, and for what? So people can watch stupid videos on Chitchat?" Datamon said.

"Ok, well you got anything that uses chip cards like this?" I asked.

"Yeah, actually, just give me a few minutes." Datamon replied before he headed into the backroom once again.

"Hey Cj, remember when you said you were going to splice together a cable for our phones?" Phoebe pointed out.

"Yeah he said that about that game console we had too." Saphy added.

"Yeah well, I think I tried to do that if I remember correctly, but it just didn't work, I think it was something with the bus, not the cables. And we didn't even take the game console off the ship with us so that's never going to happen." I said.

"I think you said something about the port in the bus not working." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, something like that. I think the fuse went out and we already left that world by the time we discovered it so we can't replace those fuses. " I replied.

" Can't you just cross them with a wire?" Phoebe asked.

"If you want to risk blowing up your phone and losing all the pictures you've taken." I replied.

"Really?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah that's why it has a fuse to begin with, to keep that from happening. And I honestly don't think it's worth risking what little documentation we've been able to get of our whole adventure here. I mean hell we barely have anything to prove the last 100 years occurred." I replied.

"You have Ronnie's picture." Kitty pointed out.

"True, but that's just one picture Kitty kat." I said.

"We have our memories." Phoebe said.

"Yeah but we can't just put those on a pc and show them to Devon co." I replied.

"Actually." Phoebe implied she could use her powers to show them.

"Yeah well I'm not going to sit there while you read my mind for whatever god awful long period of time it would take for you to show them everything." I said.

"That's a good point." Phoebe said.

"And without any physical proof they might not even buy it anyway, how do they know that picture of Ronnie isn't just some random woman, how do they know anything you tell them is true especially with your propensity to lie Pheeble beebles." I said.

"Because I have you to back me up, and they don't know about that. Also when exactly is the last time I lied to you?" Phoebe replied.

"Yeah Cj, she's got you there." Saphy said.

"Fair enough." I replied, not wanting to get into it now.

"Allright take a look at this, this a Polotron 720, a popular compact digital camera of the mid 2000s, like most contemporaries of it's class, it uses a Lasercom D card mini." Datamon said as he emerged from his backroom with a much smaller and more modern looking camera, which was rather unremarkable aside from the unfamiliar "Polotron" brand name. As datamon stated, it stored its images and videos on something resembling a micro sd card. Slightly thinner than the CCCDCM, but slightly thicker than a micro SD with even thinner pins and 2 additional ones for reasons I didn't understand. Both the familiar models had the same amount of pins but were just slightly different sizes. They were all within a millimeter of each other though, annoyingly just different enough to not be cross compatible.

"It's close, but not close enough to work." I said.

"What about cds?" Phoebe asked.

"I've never heard of a camera using cds Pheebles. It wouldn't write fast enough to record video, and it wouldn't hold enough to have much quality video footage anyway." I said.

"We have those dvd things we could show him." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." Saphy agreed.

"Yeah if you want to go get them real quick." I said.

"You're going to tire me out aren't you?" Phoebe asked as she retrieved her phone and slipped it into her purse..

"You could walk you know, you don't have to teleport." I said.

"Yeah, but, then it would take longer, as interesting as this place is I don't want to spend the rest of the day here." Phoebe replied.

"I know, and we won't." I said.

"Also can you hold my purse?" She asked.

"Yeah sure, give it here." I said.

"Thankyou." She replied.

"Don't worry Phoebe I'll keep him safe for you." Kitty said.

"Yeah don't worry." Saphy teased.

"She's only going to be gone a few minutes." I said.

"You've gotten seriously hurt in less." Phoebe said before deliberately teleporting away before I could respond.

"And there she goes." I said.

"How did you end up with three digimon partners?" Datamon asked.

"Pheebles is a pokémon, not a digimon, although to be fair most digimon we've met instantly think she's a human. Saphy is supposed to be her partner, Kitty is mine." I said.

"Mhmmmm." Kitty said as she huggled me.

"I see, that's ridiculous she looks nothing like a human." Datamon replied and I huggled Kitty in return.

"You've seen other humans?" I asked.

"Yes, through cameras, anyway, I figured out how to read and identify video data. I've seen a lot of things, somethings I kind of wish I'd never seen." The datamon replied.

"Like what?" Kitty asked.

"It's the internet, there's a lot of screwed up stuff." I whispered to her.

" Like neblongs exploding in microwaves?" She suggested.

"Yeah except people do stuff like that on purpose and film it for money." I replied.

"Really?" Saphy asked in disbelief.

"Ew, how do they deal with the grossness?" Kitty asked.

"They're weirdos, it doesn't effect them." I said.

"Like Phoebe?" Kitty asked.

"Not even close, like evil weirdos, like people that go around hurting others for fun." I said.

"Oooh, ok." Kitty replied.

"What's a neblong?" The datamon asked.

"It's a harmless furball with little stubby legs, people keep them as pets. Their legs are so stubby some breeds instinctively roll around instead of walking. Other walk or roll depending on the situation, and they have a habit of falling over and rolling whether they want to or not which most people find completely adorable." I said.

"Got it. Do they get hurt when they fall?" Datamon asked.

"Well they're only like a foot high at the most so not really." I replied.

"They do when they get put in a microwave." Kitty said.

"Yeah, she found that out the hard way." I said.

"You let her?" Datamon asked.

"I wasn't there, I just saw the aftermath when she called me to fix it. It wasn't my neblong either it was her boyfriend's at the time."

"He dumped me after that." Kitty said.

"Well, you covered his kitchen in the guts of his pet, so."

"You were dating a human?" The datamon asked.

"Still am." Kitty said as she hugged me.

"It's complicated." I said.

Phoebe returned with our cd case, panting heavily again.

"Pheebles you don't have to overwork yourself, take it easy we have time." I said.

"Cj, it's fine, I can catch my breath." She replied.

"See Pheebles is my wife, Kitty is our virara, it's complicated." I said.

"I've never heard that word before." Datamon said.

"Nobody has, it's some weird thing Phoebe found." I said.

"It's a really long story." Phoebe said as she set the case on the counter and opened it up.

"Yeah." I agreed.

"Anyway do you have anything that uses discs like these?" Phoebe asked as she showed him our movie collection.

"Doctor Mister Mime?" The datamon asked as he read the title.

"No that's the name of the tv series on the disc not the format." Phoebe said.

"Oh, I was going to say, that's a really weird name for a format." Datamon replied.

" Uhhh, you know. I haven't heard of a camera that uses anything remotely like this, the humans here use them for movies and music too, not as much as they used too, but still. I can get you a camcorder that writes to tape, but not discs like these." Datamon said.

"Allright show us that then." I said.

"Just be warned, like the film cameras I can't make infinite length tapes. So if you go this way you're going to need to get a lot of extra tapes." Datamon said.

"That's fine." I said.

"Allright then I need another minute." The Datamon said before heading into the backroom for a bit and returning later with the camcorder.

"This is the best one that's available a Polotron CC720S. It uses standard size double band tapes." The datamon said.

"Double band?" I asked.

"Yeah it's got two tape ribbons in here ones for audio and ones for video, or, in a security system setup you can have twice the amount of video with no audio. It's in 720p Hd that's as high as it goes for tapes." He said as he lifted the top cover of the cassette, which was in a weird ovular shape like a cut down VHS tape.

"We haven't seen tapes like this before either." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, oh well, maybe Devon co can build a player for it. " I said.

"It also has these output ports hear and you can hook it up to a tv with some composite cables." Datamon said as I noticed the familiar red white and yellow jacks on the side.

"Well crap it has those?" I asked.

"Yes you know of them." Datamon replied.

"I mean they're a bit outdated, but yeah." I said.

"I think we found it Pheebles." I replied.

"How heavy is it? It's huge!" Phoebe said as she picked it up.

"Oh, it's not that heavy." She said as she played around with it.

"How many tapes do you want?" Datamon asked.

'I don't know fifty?" I said.

"Allright I go get those." Datamon replied.

"Do we have room for that many?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah in the cargo racks." I said.

"How are we going to carry that many back to the bus?" Phoebe asked.

"Kitty can help carry some." I said.

"Ok." Kitty agreed.

"How much is this going to cost?" Phoebe asked.

"550 megabytes." Datamon replied.

"Oh, that's not much."

"They don't really have a lot of data in them, they're cheap to make." Datamon said.

"Give him 650 since he's been so helpful." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied as the datamon came out of the back room and started to set tapes up on the counter.

After paying and taking the extra tapes back to the bus Phoebe started recording immediately with a level of enthusiasm that almost immediately made the purchase worthwhile.

"OK so here we are, in the digital world after a really long time sorry we couldn't document everything up to this point, but, Cj where are we going now?" She said as we started to make our first video.

"To the clothing store I guess." I replied.

"Can I be in the video too?" Kitty asked.

"Yes, you are right now actually, everyone is going to be in the video at some point, we need to document everything." Phoebe said.

"Even sex?" Kitty asked.

"Kitty don't talk about that in the video. Other people are going to see this! How do I erase that?" Phoebe asked.

"Stop recording, rewind to before she said it then start recording again. It should overwrite it." I said.

"Ok let's try that." Phoebe said.

-a few moments later-

"Ok, so this is a digital world, everything is made out of computer code that doesn't necessarily have to follow the laws of physics, for instance this camcorder we just bought has infinite battery life. Now what are we going to do here in this world Cj?" She said.

"We're gearing up to fight deusmon, this super bad thing, that wants to consume this universe as well as others, we know that for a fact because we've seen it in the future." I said.

"We time traveled, sorry we don't have much evidence of that, but just take our word for it, it happened. Anyway things are already going bad here, you wouldn't believe how many abandoned villages we've come across on our way to this terminal city. This is the liveliest place we've seen in a long time, so we're going to take full advantage of it." Phoebe said.

"Also when we left it was just Cj and I, but now our group has grown quite a bit. We got Kitty and Saphy over here, they're our digimon partners. There's a lot of others too, but we all kind of split up for the evening to check this place out. Anyway, look at how huge this building is, there's even more buildings inside it, it almost puts the havac's hangers to shame, it might even be taller!" Phoebe said.

"Remember when they blew that other up and we had to dig our way out through the roof?" I asked.

"Yeah, that one was being used by Marionamon, she's one of the dark rulers, that are all part of deusmon. We've defeated a lot of them at this point, but there's still a few left and she's still out there too, somewhere." Phoebe said.

"You gonna tell them about the others?" I asked.

"Maybe later. I'm more in the moment right now." Phoebe replied.

"Ok." I said.

"Anyway, once we defeat all the dark rulers, Ophanimon said she'd send us halfway home across the multiverse. Hopefully she's still alive and can keep her promise, because we haven't heard anything from her in a really long time. If not we met some other goddesses and have a backup plan. We'll show you them later, they're off trying to find an old god friend of theirs, I guess." Phoebe said.

-several minutes of exposition later-

"Anyway here we are in a clothing store, this is what they look like in the digital world I guess, you pay for everything with data by the way. There's a lot of hats and sunglasses, things that a lot of digimon and people can wear. Not all digimon are humanoid by the way. There's some scarfs over there. We're looking for a coat for one of the more recent members of our group, DarkVioletmon. " Phoebe said.

"So new you haven't gotten her naked yet." I said, jokingly.

"RRRR, Cj, that's not going in the video." Phoebe said as she stopped recording for only the second time since she got the camera.

-a few moments later-

"Anyway Darkvioletmon had been kind of weird and distant, she doesn't say much, has a very troubled past, and we're not really entirely sure why she keeps following us, aside from maybe because we have BlackLillymon. The last few weeks she's been riding in the bus with us because she got cold outside since it is permanently snowy here, Arceus we haven't shown you the bus yet, eh I guess we'll get to it later. Anyway, we're going to get her a coat so she can be of better use to us outside when we have to fight enemies." Phoebe said.

"No it's so you can try to get her to like you so you can get her to take her clothes off." I joked.

"Yep." Saphy agreed.

"Yeah, probably." Kitty said with a laugh.

"Cj quit doing that!" Phoebe protested while our digimon laughed.

"Pheebles, we're buying a coat, does it really warrant a video?" I asked as she rewound the recording so she could cut out the last thing I said.

"Well I'm also filling them in on what we've been doing so far. Now! None of you talk like that." Phoebe said as she started recording again.

"Are you recording now?" Kitty asked.

"Yep." Phoebe replied.

"Kitty don't do it." I said.

"Sex." Kitty said.

"Really?" Phoebe asked.

"You know I'm just going to leave that in so everyone can see what a goofball you are." Phoebe said.

"What? Sex. Sex. Sex. Sex. Sex. Sex." Kitty said.

"See she's a total goofball. What do you think Saphy?" Phoebe said.

"I think there's atleast two goofballs in this store." Saphy said.

"And Cj is the other one?" Phoebe asked.

"Eehhhhhhh, no. You are." Saphy replied.

"Oh come on." Phoebe said.

"You haven't put that camera down since you got it." Saphy said.

"We need to document everything." Phoebe said.

"Hey goofball, they have women's coats over here." I said.

"Is there one her size?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know her size." I replied.

"Probably bigger than me." Phoebe said.

"Most are, eh, Violet, probably not by much though." I said.

"She's probably more around my size." Saphy said.

"Well then you can model for us Saphy. What color do you think she'd like?" Phoebe asked.

"I think black is probably a safe bet." I said.

"Yeah, that would make sense." Phoebe said.

"If she even cares, I mean we could get her a pink frilly one and see what happens." I said.

"Yeah except we're trying to be nice not play a joke." Phoebe said.

"Allright then black it is." I said as Saphy took off her own coat. We were inside now and it wasn't as cold as it was out on the platform. There were a couple of space heaters running in the corners.

"Here Saphy try this one, I guess." I said as I handed one to her.

"I can tell from here that that is way too big." Phoebe said.

"Well the sizes aren't marked anywhere so I have no idea." I said.

"I'll find one just give me a moment." Saphy said as she started to go through the rack.

Kitty was starting to try on some sunglasses out of boredom, I decided to join her while the others figured out the whole coat situation.

"Find any you like?" I asked.

"I don't know, why do people wear sunglasses anyway?" She asked.

"To look cool and to keep the sun out of their eyes." I said.

"I know we bought you some before." I said.

"Yeah and I probably lost them, I'm sorry." She replied.

"Eh it's allright, I've lost my fair share of them too. They're pretty easy to lose." I said.

"Are you going to try on some sunglasses too Cj?" Phoebe asked as she pointed her camera at us.

"Are you going to record literally everything?" I asked in return.

"No, but I'm going to record a lot of things." Phoebe said.

"Come here Kitty." I said as I pulled her close.

"What?" She asked.

"Kiss me babe." I said.

"Nonono, bad Cj." Phoebe protested

"It will be on the video." Kitty said.

"No it won't, you don't have permission." Phoebe said as she stopped recording.

"I want to, but I don't have permission." Kitty said.

"Really Cj?" Phoebe asked in disbelief.

"I'm just messing with you, you know that." I said.

"Yeah, I know." Phoebe agreed.

"But also they're gonna need to know about Kitty and I." I said.

"I know, we'll get to that, but this isn't the way. Actually I'll do that right now. Help Saphy with the coats." Phoebe said as she walked off on her own."

"I need to say this at some point so I'm just going to do it now. We got separated for a long time like a hundred years or so, long enough that Cj was pretty forced to marry this other princess, and they eventually fell in love and had a kid and he ended up outliving both of them. I guess I should have led with the fact that we don't age anymore. But anyway, we still hadn't found eachother again and he was alone and miserable, and then Kitty apparently walked away from another relationship just to be there for him. So, we're trying to make it work, I know it's not the ideal situation but he still loves me too and we're still married and I let Kitty be our virara, which is, basically a third wheel that is supposed to be there when the other can't, and I've been trying to convince Saphy to be mine, but we're just not as close as they are. And I, just have to live with the fact I'm not his only love anymore." Phoebe said on the verge of tears.

"Pheebles, you know I don't love you any less tha2n I did before. And you know if I had to choose I'd be with you all the way." I said as I came up behind her.

"And I'm just really glad you didn't make him choose. I'll never try to take him from you sister, don't worry about that." Kitty said.

"Awwwe, you see this is why this works, you too are both so sweet." Phoebe said as she turned around and hugged both of us.

"So are you when you want to be." I said.

"I know." She replied as I let her pull me close.

"Allright let's get this coat and get to the hotel." I said.

"And then we can give it to violetmon and film her reaction." Phoebe said.

"Or more than likely lack thereof." I said.

"Yeah, probably." Phoebe said.

"Saphy did you find one yet?" Phoebe asked.

"What about this one?" Saphy asked as she turned around to show off the coat she was wearing.

"I think that will work. Let's buy it and go." Phoebe said.

"Hi can we buy this coat?" Phoebe asked.

"Yes, or I could make one just like it in the backroom but at just the right size." The clerk, a gotsumon replied.

"I don't know the right size we're just buying it for a friend so we'll just take this one." Phoebe said.

"Ok." The clerk replied.

A couple minutes, and 150 megabytes later we were back on the platform, keeping our eyes open for a hotel where we would reunite with the others. A big place like this, there had to be one around somewhere, digimon like to travel around, or atleast they did before most of them were presumably murdered.

We came across a restaurant that seemed to serve hamburgers, though since our experience with the icecream shop we knew they probably wouldn't taste like the genuine food we all missed so much. Phoebe got it on film and explained the ice cream shop incident, and then we continued to explore. Towards the back there were apartment buildings of various sizes for small, medium, and large digimon, and even sheds for the trailmon to sleep in. They never leave the rails if they can help it since they can't move very well without them. Seeing as there seemed to be no more businesses further down, we went back over to the platform we started on and started to head back up to see if we may have missed a hotel. Found several different restaurants, including a sushi bar. There was also furniture store and not much else, just some empty commercial buildings where stores would normally be. Of course Phoebe was still filming all of this. The next two platforms over were split in half with a huge restaurant designed specifically for the trailmon taking up a large space where their other halves would normally be. The existent half of them was a series of residential buildings. Finally on the next platform over to the left, there was a hotel at the edge of the residential zone. Where we got rooms and waited in the lobby for the others, tired, as we had been walking for quite a while.

"And now you can see that even the digimon have their own little businesses to run, we met Kitty and Saphy in a hotel much like this one in fact." Phoebe said after we got some rooms and found a table to sit at in the lobby.

"I think that one was larger." I said.

This hotel had to fit in the confines of the terminal building, which itself was maybe ten stories tall, but with a huge footprint. Litterally an entire city under one roof, with atleast a few thousand residents, and lots of trailmon,

"Yeah and it was closed and empty when we got there, she just started running it to pass the time waiting for you." Saphy said.

"How long were you waiting for us?" Phoebe asked.

"A couple weeks, not too long, but you know, Kitty and I got there around the same time, and we were expecting the other chosen digimon to come too, and they never showed and then you came, and we did that thing and we became partners." Saphy said.

"And what was that thing?" I asked, mischievously.

"Don't go into that, quit making me have to stop and overwrite stuff." Phoebe said.

"It never gets old." I said.

"No it doesn't." Kitty said with a laugh.

"Ok let's continue." Phoebe said after rewinding the camera a little bit.

"Continue with what?" I asked.

"What about Iceleomon? He was one of the chosen too, and we found him locked in that tower." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, so, I guess it's a safe bet the others didn't make it since we haven't come across anymore yet." I said.

"Right." Phoebe agreed.

"And now he's partnered with his wives, who weren't even part of our group when we first got here." I said.

"Right they're from the same universe the newbies are from." Phoebe agreed.

"Same planet Chally is from actually." I said.

"We haven't even mentioned the newbies on video yet." Phoebe said.

"Well maybe you can get them on the video when we get here, do some interviews." I said.

"Yeah." Phoebe agreed.

"Now why don't you put that camera down for a while I'm starting to forget what your right eye looks like." I said.

"Oh yeah right, you haven't forgotten my face after 100 years and it took you a few hours to forget my eyes?" Phoebe asked.

"Pheebles, put the camera down, come on." I said.

"Ohhh, ok." Phoebe replied as she stopped recording and put the camera on the table.

"You want to go up to the room and snuggle for a bit? Kitty can come too." Phoebe asked.

"Someone has to stay in the lobby in case the others show up." I said.

"That's why we have Saphy." Phoebe said.

"I wanna snuggle too." Saphy said.

"I'll make it up to you tonight." Phoebe said.

"No." Saphy asked.

"Oh come on Saphy." Phoebe begged.

"I don't see how. We're already spending it together aren't we?" Saphy asked.

"Ohhh, you're no fun." Phoebe said.

"You won't be saying that tonight." Saphy replied.

"Just come and sit here Pheebles, we can snuggle on the bench. See?" I said as I put my arm around Kitty and pulled her close.

"Not as comfortable as in a bed though." Phoebe said.

"Oh wah. You in or not I got a whole other arm just for you." I replied.

"Fine." She replied as she sat next to me.

"I love you girls." I said with a sigh as I pulled them both close to me.

"Love you." Kitty said, cutely.

"Yeah, I love you too Cj." Phoebe said with less enthusiasm.

"Oh don't be so gloomy just cause we can't snuggle in bed, you cute little gardevoir." I said before kissing her on the cheek.

"When do you think the others will get here?" She asked.

"I don't know, I'm not sure where they all went, we might not even be at the right hotel." I said.

"There really needs to be a map of this place." She replied.

"Yep." I said.

"I should've brought one of those books from the bus, maybe it would have one." Phoebe said.

"But then you couldn't carry the camera." Saphy said.

"Well, Cj could carry the book then." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, maybe. Or you could put it in your purse." I said.

"I'm not sure if it would fit." She replied.

"And don't bring up pockets, it would've even fit in yours, if I had any they would be even smaller." Phoebe said.

"Or we could find you a dress with like one really big pocket in the front, and then you could keep it in there, and you can keep Charley in there too when we get home, like a kangaroo." I said.

"What? No, that's stupid!" She protested.

"I know I'm just messing with you babe." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"I just hope they get here soon, I'm getting tired." Kitty said.

"Kitty Kat you're always tired." I replied.

"I'm tired too. It's late. It's already dark outside." Phoebe said.

"Forgot how late it was, so many lights in here." I said.

"Yeah." Phoebe replied.

"Is this place even real or are we all just completely insane and just sitting in the snow in the middle of nowhere." I said.

"No it's real." Phoebe replied.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah I can tell, because everything you're thinking is making sense, if we were both going crazy you could be thinking of a phanpy or a charmander or something when there's no reason for you to think that because there are none around."

"Ok, but are you still going to be able to understand that if you're crazy what if you start seeing whatever I'm thinking?" I asked.

"Well that's not happening so I must not be." Phoebe said.

"If we're all crazy then where did everyone else go?" Saphy asked.

"My answer would be I have no idea either way." I said.

"How would I know if I was crazy?" Kitty asked.

"You wouldn't, nobody would, you can't be crazy and know you're crazy." I said.

"Do you think I'm crazy?" Kitty asked, deeply concerned.

"No, we're just messing around. " I said.

"Do you think this is a loose nation?" Kitty asked.

"You mean hallucination?" Phoebe asked confused.

"Yeah loose nation." She replied.

"No. not if it's lasted this long." Phoebe said.

"Who knows?" I asked.

"Cj cut it out." Phoebe said with some sternity.

"Yeah." Kitty agreed.

"Ok, fine." I replied.

"Are we going anywhere else tonight or are we just going to wait on the others?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know, we'll probably stay here unless the goddesses need us." Phoebe said.

"So Cj and I can go up while you stay down here?" Kitty asked.

"No, Kitty." Phoebe replied.

"Well what's the point of letting me have him for a night if we're too tired to do anything?" Kitty asked.

"You can't be that tired you've been napping most of the day." Phoebe said.

"Well what about Cj?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know." I said.

"Can you get your thingy up now if we tried?" Phoebe asked.

"Could you never ask me that again in public?" I replied.

"Yeah what the heck Phoebe? We're not the only ones here." Saphy said.

"I don't know. They shouldn't understand what we're talking about anyway should they?"" Phoebe said, cutely.

"So? It's still weird. Weirdo." I replied.

"Says the boy who licks my feet." Phoebe said.

"Says the girl who wants to watch me fuck every other girl we come across." I said.

"It helps keep this group together, and this way we can have a little fun before we make it back home, and you'll be glad we did all this then because once we get home it's only me and Kitty for the rest of your life." Phoebe replied.

"Somehow, I doubt that." I said.

"Well Cj, we can't be going around like that when we get home, we have to take care of Charley and Nina." Phoebe replied.

"And then there was Corina." I said.

" That didn't pan out, no thanks to you." Phoebe replied.

"Who the hell is Corina?" Kitty asked.

"She watches our kids when we're working. Probably you too when we get back." Phoebe explained.

"I think, between her and Nina they could probably handle Charley." I said.

"I'm not going to risk it." Phoebe replied.

"Or maybe Saphy, you're more responsible." Phoebe said.

"Maybe." Saphy replied as Henry and Claire entered the room.

"Oh look we might be in the right place after all. Hi! What have you been up to?" Phoebe said.

"Oh we're just . . ." Henry began to explain before Phoebe cut him off.

"Hold on, let me get you two on video." Phoebe said as she picked her camera up again.

"Oh, you got a camera now." Claire said.

"Mhm." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah and we finally got her to put it down for a few minutes and now here she goes again." I said.

"Oh Cj, it'll be ok." Phoebe said.

"I know." I said.

"See this is Henry and Claire and they've been traveling with us the longest pretty much. Anything you two want to say to the viewers back home?" Phoebe said.

"This is a live broadcast?" Henry asked.

"No, but, our bosses will see it, eventually, once we get home, so we have proof of where we've been." Phoebe said.

"I see." Henry said.

"That way we don't just get paid for working for five minutes." I replied.

"Yeah, something like that." Phoebe said.

"We're retiring after this." I said.

"Definitely." Phoebe agreed.

"Atleast until we get things settled at home." I said.

"Well um, tell them I said hi." Henry said.

"Tell them yourself, you're on video." Phoebe replied.

"Hi, uh, Phoebe and Cj's bosses." Henry said.

"James and Melissa, and Dr. Black." Phoebe said.

"That's who they are?" Henry asked.

"Yeah. Though Melissa is on maternity leave." Phoebe replied.

"I see." Henry replied.

"She's going to have twins, you know how rare that is for a gardevoir?" Phoebe asked.

"It's pretty rare for humans too." Henry said.

"I know, but still." Phoebe replied.

"So she looks like you then?" Claire said.

"Yeah, but just a bit taller, and pregnant." Phoebe said.

"I can't wait for those kids to be born really, It'd be great for Charley to have some playmates his age." Phoebe said.

"That's your son?" Claire asked.

"Yeah, that's our little baby boy, actually hold on a second." Phoebe said as she turned the camera towards herself. "Hi Charley, if you ever see this, mommy and daddy love you very much, and you too Nina, and we really really miss both of you."

"Mhm." I calmly agreed.

"See, daddy is here too." Phoebe said.

"Can I say something?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, just keep it appropriate, you're talking to our kids." Phoebe said.

"Hi, um, hopefully we get to meet someday, I know it will be awkward, but we can still get along in the end right?" Kitty asked.

"We'll help you, don't worry." Phoebe said.

"You want to say anything Saphy?" Phoebe asked while Henry and Claire booked a room at the front desk.

"I don't know, we'll probably end up meeting them before they see the video." Saphy said.

"Yeah, probably." Phoebe replied.

"Anyway once they get their room, we'll go back on subject and then you can learn more about them." Phoebe said.

"You mean the people watching?" I asked.

"Not necessarily, maybe we'll learn something new about them too." Phoebe replied.

-A few minutes later Henry and Claire got their room key and came over to see us.-

"And here they are, ready for their interview." Phoebe said as she watched them through the camera screen.

"I thought we were already getting interviewed, then you started talking about your boy." Henry said.

"I couldn't help it, and then you were busy getting your room for the night so, here we go again." Phoebe said.

"What did you guys do for the last couple hours or so after the ice cream shop? We did some more shopping." Phoebe said.

"Well we went to find the nearest hotel first, we found this place, made sure there wasn't a closer one, then we went to check out some of the shops on this platform and the next one over. We couldn't buy anything, we don't have any data." Henry explained.

"Did you see anything you want?" Phoebe asked.

"Did you see that weapons shop?" Henry asked.

"Yeah, couldn't afford anything cool though." I replied.

"We got this camera, some tapes, and a coat for darkvioletmon." Phoebe said.

"You bought her a coat?" Henry asked.

"Maybe she'll be more help if she's not freezing. I don't know, we'll see what happens when we give in to her, I'll film every moment of it." Phoebe said.

"She just wants to get in her pants." I said in a half-whisper, but it the atmosphere was quiet enough that everyone heard me and laughed anyway. Except for Pheebles of course.

"CJAAAAY, bad Cj, bad!" Phoebe cutely said, feeling very annoyed. She's so adorable when she talks like that.

"Oh, don't tell me that's not part of the reason why." I said.

"It is, but, don't say that while I'm recording and don't tell them that!" Phoebe said to me telepathically so the others wouldn't hear.

"That's not the reason Cj, I'm just trying to be nice. She's cold, she needs a coat and I would guess she probably doesn't know how to find one." Phoebe said so everyone else could hear, she didn't want anyone else to know, even though it was already highly suspected. Of course neither Henry nor Claire rode on the bus with us so they didn't know about what happened with her earlier. Nor did we ever really want them to know the full extent of what we do on that forever tainted rig which would forever be between the four of us, Zari, and Chally. And maybe Darkvioletmon if she was even paying a minutia of attention on anything but the vast empty lands outside her window.

"Allright, if you say so." I replied.

"What if she buys a coat for herself?" Kitty asked.

"Well then Saphy gets another coat I guess." Phoebe replied.

"Eh it's the thought that counts." I said.

"That's the thing, I don't think she knows to think to do so." Phoebe replied.

"But other digimon do apparently otherwise why else would they be running all these shops?" I asked.

"I don't know." Phoebe replied.

"Then again we never saw anyone else in those shops aside from the staff." I said.

"

"So?" Phoebe replied.

"What if this is actually some sort of video game world?" I asked.

"Ok we are not starting that again." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah, that opens up a whole can of worms doesn't it?" I asked.

"Like we don't have enough to deal with right now." Phoebe said.

"True." I replied.

"So anyway, you guys have anything you want to say on camera?" Phoebe said.

" Yes, Charley, your parents are probably the weirdest people I've ever met but they're fighting really hard to get home to you. They saved me from my own world which was dying, and I'm glad I met them in the end. The way things are out here I don't know if we'll ever meet, but you should know." Henry said.

"Awe, that was nice, you have anything you want to add to that Claire?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know." Claire replied.

"Ok well, let's go straight to the interview then, what did you do before you joined up with us?" Phoebe asked.

"I taught fourth grade, not that exciting compared to this." Claire replied.

"True, but it's still an important profession. Maybe you could teach Charley when he's in fourth grade." Phoebe said.

"Are we sending him to school?" I asked.

"Well when he's old enough. Then we can have some time alone. Nina will probably be off on her at that point." Phoebe said.

"Probably." I replied.

"Am I going to go back to being a teacher after this though?" Claire asked.

"I don't know that's your decision. It's going to be fun when we get back and everyone has to find their own place, but we'll support you guys all the way." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah, I might take your job. If you're retiring." Henry said.

"They might send you back to school first if you go that way, I'm not sure, we didn't have to because of our experience at that point, so, you might not have to either, but I don't know." Phoebe said.

"We'll find out when we get back." Henry said.

"Yeah, probably." Phoebe said.

"You're welcome to it, because we're taking a very long vacation after this." I said.

"Possibly permanent." Phoebe said.

"Now hold on, I'm not too sure about that." I replied.

"We'll talk about it when we make it there." Phoebe said.

"Fair enough." I replied.

She went and interviewed everybody else as they arrived, until she had interviewed pretty much everyone but the goddesses who hadn't shown up yet. It was really late in the evening now, Henry, Claire, and the newbies retired for the night. IceLeomon and his wives got bored and despite everyone telling him it was a bad idea they went back out to explore the city some more. We weren't as tired, as we had plenty of rest on the bus. So we were still at our table in the lobby along with Zari and Chally now, who were still up for similar reasons. Phoebe put the camera down after talking with Zari for a while, as there was nobody else to interview. It was late enough that the Icemon who was running the front desk when we got here retired for the night to be replaced with a snowimpmon who apparently ran the night shift, snowimpmon being like an impmon but icey blue and attacks using ice instead of fire. Like Kitty, a good example of an "evil" digimon having a normal job and not necessarily being evil. There was nobody but us in the lobby at the time, so Phoebe got bored and decided pick up her camera again, to interview him, just for something to do to pass the time.

"So you're a snowimpmon, are you from around here?" Phoebe asked.

"Further north actually, a lot of people moved here and took whatever jobs they could get for safety. It's safe here, there's a powerful digimon that hides the city from those murderous scum that keep attacking villages. You found this place so somebody must have told you, probably from the expeditionary force Bachusmon sent out a few days ago." The digimon replied.

"Do you know where Bachusmon is?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, but it's a madhouse in there." The snowimpmon replied.

"Is he the one hiding the city?" Phoebe asked.

"No, that's probably a wizardmon or a datamon, I'm not sure, he's been asked before but he keeps it a secret for the safety of the city. But those two digimon you know, they're always doing weird things like that. There may be others that can do that too, you know, I used to think they'd go too far one of these days, that they'd break something, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and this is the safest place this far north." Snowimpmon replied.

"What do you mean it's a madhouse in there?" Phoebe asked.

"He parties non-stop. Whatever you do don't drink anything he offers you or you'll be in there for hours, maybe forever there's some who have gone in there and still haven't come back out yet, and can't be talked into leaving." Snowimpmon replied.

"Well shit." I said.

"Cjaaay, Charley is going to see this!" Phoebe quacked.

"I know I know, but now we know why they haven't come back yet." I said.

"We do?" Kitty asked, confused.

"Yeah, they must be stuck in there partying their asses off." I said.

"You think so? I mean he's their friend? Surely they'd be smart enough to not get drawn into that." Phoebe said.

"Well you want to go see or you want to sit here and wait?" I asked.

"I'm going, I don't know about you guys." Zari said.

"Chally?" Phoebe asked.

"If you guys go I'll go, if not I'm going upstairs." Chally replied.

"Well somebody needs to stay here in case they show up when we're gone." Phoebe said.

"Can't you're new friend just tell them where we went?" I asked.

"Yeah I can handle that no problem." The snowimpmon chimed in.

"Ohhh, ok then let's go." Phoebe replied.

"Actually wait, if it's a party we should get ready." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles it's 10:00pm." I said.

"I just want to shower and change clothes ok? It won't take too long." Phoebe said.

"We're not going there to party we're going there to find out what's going on and drag their asses out of it." I said.

"Oh, ok." Phoebe replied.

"Besides you look fine already." I said.

"But not my best." Phoebe replied.

"Let's just go." I said.

"Um, but where are we going though?" Kitty asked.

"Oh fuck, right, Um where is this place?" I asked.

"Cj." Phoebe quacked.

"Oh just remove it from the video, you don't even need to be recording right now you know that?" I asked.

"About 5 platforms west, it's a big tower, goes clear up to the ceiling, you'll know it when you see it, you'll hear the music." Snowimpmon replied.

"Allright then, let's go Kitty." I said as I headed for the door, Kitty, Chally and Zari followed me right away, and eventually Phoebe and Saphy did once I was out the door. A lot of the lights in the windows of the buildings were out now, but there were still plenty of streetlights. The roof of the gargantuan shed built over everything gave the false impression that the sky was just an endless black void. Though to be fair it probably was at some point, at some point, if this world is truly digital, you'd think there would be no more stars after going out so far.

Anyway, we started to traverse over the platforms, it was quiet, most of the city was not abandoned for a change, but asleep. It was quite a bit of walking, by the time we made it to the third platform to the west we already started to hear the music in the distance. It only got louder as we approached, so finding the place was the easiest task of the day.

Getting inside was somewhat more of a challenge, the place was packed. There were digimon huddled around outside just dancing to the music, having a good time, mostly gotsumon, a few more snowimpmon, a few gabumon, gomamon, snowgoblimon, snow agumon, and the odd gazimon, pagumon or koromon, avian and mammalian digimon were extremely rare up here because of the cold, and plant and insect digimon were almost non-existent, they would never travel this far north if they could help it. Gabumon and gomamon being an exception since the cold just doesn't bother them as much. There were a few champions as well, including some friendly Icedevimon, a bizarre sight since others had tried to kill us earlier, some icemon, which were somewhat common despite being champion level, a few garurumon, and some ikkakumon, and mojyamon. There was pretty much a whole village's worth of digimon gathered around this one big building that had several stories and went clear up to the roof.

"This has to be the place." Phoebe yelled, trying to be heard over the loud dance music being played.

"Yep." I replied.

"You see the door anywhere?" Zari asked.

"Let's just work our way through the crowd and go around the building until we find one." I said.

"Yeah, we're going to have to. I can't teleport to it, too many people moving around." Phoebe said.

"Do you see the goddesses anywhere?" Saphy asked.

"No, they shouldn't be too hard to find either, most of this crowd is rookies." I said.

"I got this guys don't worry." Kitty said as she went and digivolved.

"What is she doing?" Phoebe asked.

"Just some crowd control I think. Right Kitty Kat?" I asked.

"Mhm." She replied. "If you could get their attention that'd be great."

"I have an idea. Cj take the camera." Phoebe said as she got out one of her shurikens.

"You're going to kill them all?" I asked.

"No, dummy, just cover your ears. Everyone cover your ears I don't know if this will work but's worth a shot.." She replied before she started to spin her shuriken around in the air in front of her using her powers almost like a sawblade. Then she took her hand and seemed to press against its side with more of her powers for a few seconds until she got the angle right and it made a deafening screech, which instantly gained the crowd's attention for a moment.

"What the hell was that?" I asked as she slowed her shuriken down and put it away.

"A screech attack, maybe." She replied.

"Can you even do that?" I asked.

"I just did, so, yeah." Phoebe replied.

"I guess most gardevoirs don't carry shurikens though." I said.

"Yeah, that's true, and this would never be allowed in an official pokémon battle, natural weapons only." Phoebe replied.

This excludes weapons that pokémon pretty much always have on them, like cubone's club, or Farfetch'd's leek.

"Crap, Kitty go! Do your thing now while they're looking at us!" I said as she stood there dazed by the noise.

"Oh, right! Darkness love." Kitty put her powers into play. "Get out of the way and show us to the entrance to this place."

About 90% of the crowd started to part ways while pointing to the entrance. The other ten percent that weren't looking at her continued to dance or just stood there confused at what everyone else was doing. The ones under her control formed a sort of path leading straight to the front door.

"Look at you girls making a good team." I said.

"Now it's your turn to escort us in my love." Phoebe said as she looked into my eyes.

"Good grief." Zari said.

"What? It's romantic." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but is this really the time for that?" Zari asked.

"Yeah, you two are not on a date ya know?" Saphy asked.

"I think it's cute." Chally said.

"Eh, it makes her happy, give me your hand Pheebles." I said.

"You too Kitty Kat." I said once I took Phoebe's hand.

And so I held my lady's hands as we entered the place, as the others kind of trudged along behind us, and the crowd outside started to go back to normal as Kitty's hold on them wore off. We didn't really need them to stand there after we entered the place anyway.

"Kitty Kat, remember what the hotel desk guy said, don't drink anything." I said as we took a moment to take in the scene. A lot of digimon dancing, more of the same varieties we saw outside, but now with some Etemon in the mix as well, and a Submarimon, and a few drimogemon and nisedrimogemon, and most notably, a Plesiomon that was so big it could be seen towering over the crowd, it's head swaying to the rhythm.

"I know I know."

"And for the love of god don't let me find you drunk out of your mind, walking around outside with your boobs out again." I teased.

The others started to laugh.

"That was over twenty years ago! That was before we were even a thing." She protested.

" Yeah well, it still happened." I said with a laugh.

"But I love you Kitty Kat, you know that." I said.

"yeah." She replied.

"But seriously, don't drink anything even if it's free." I said.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"Hey are you new here?" A somewhat cute dress-wearing gazimon asked. She was apparently a hostess of sorts.

"Yes." Phoebe replied.

"OK then right this way, we'll get you some drinks on the house." The gazimon replied.

"Um, no, no thanks we came here to check on our friends." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, they went to see Bacchusmon." Saphy added.

"In person?" The gazimon asked. "There's 3 of them right?"

"Yeah." Phoebe replied.

"They're all in his office on the top floor. They said they knew him and security confirmed it with him so we sent them up." Gazimon replied.

"Yeah well, they've been gone for hours so what could they be doing up there?" I asked.

"A few hours is nothing, some spend days in here, and honestly, I don't even know I've never been up there myself." Gazimon replied.

"Can we go up there?" Phoebe asked.

"Only if he gives it the ok. I'll ask security just wait here." The gazimon replied.

"Are we going to have to fight that little bunny?" Zari asked.

"J don't know." Phoebe said.

"You're probably already thinking about fucking her." Zari said.

"No, she's like 3ft tall if even, that's weird, weirdo." Phoebe said.

Eventually she returned with a kazemon who apparently was the head of security.

"Arceus Cj, do you see her?" Phoebe asked me telepathically.

"Yeah, but not tonight Pheebles you already promised Kitty." I replied.

"I know I know but, wow." Phoebe replied.

"Mhm." I agreed.

"I'm going to record her." Phoebe said.

"Knock yourself out." I replied.

"Listen, Bacchusmon, the big guy up there, he told me you're not allowed to go up there unless you take a drink. And that's a lot more than most get." Kazemon explained.

"What's he so afraid of? Isn't he a god?" Phoebe asked.

"Former god, and you know there's plenty to be afraid of these days, I assumed you've stumbled across your fair share of empty villages. We could be the last one in all the digital world, we can't take any chances and you're just going to need to understand that." Kazemon explained.

"Cj you told me not to drink anything no matter what." Kitty said.

"Yeah well, that might change. Pheebles?" I asked.

"We all know it's a bad idea." She said.

"But is it worth it to go up there and see what's going on?" I asked.

"I don't know maybe." Phoebe replied.

"Maybe only a few of us should take it and the rest could stay down here?" Zari suggested.

"I think that would be workable if that's what you want to do." Kazemon said.

"So who's going?" The gazimon chimed in.

"Cj." Phoebe said,

"Really?" I asked.

"You and Kitty should go, if anything happens up there it could just be part of your night together." Phoebe said.

"I thought you were little miss self-control?" I joked.

"Yeah, well, just go." Phoebe said.

"And if you end up banging kazemon, I can just read your memories and we can share the experience together while you're asleep. If I showed you my memories you can't tell if I'm being truthful or not." Phoebe said to me telepathically.

"I don't see how that's going to happen, I don't even think she's going up there with us, but whatever you say babe." I replied.

"Go up there, have some fun, but don't take too long." Phoebe said, kissing me after every line.

"Kitty Kat, keep him safe for me." She said while giving Kitty a hug.

"I'll try my best Phoebe." Kitty replied.

"Saphy, make sure she keeps her clothes on.' I said, half-jokingly.

"Right." Saphy replied with a laugh.

"Let's get you your drinks then." Gazimon said.

"Maybe I can get Kazemon then if she stays down here." Phoebe said to me, also telepathically.

"Good luck with that." I replied as Kitty and I followed the gazimon through the crowd.

"Just keep your clothes on Pheebles." I said, getting a laugh out of the others before we got too far away.

"We're going to come back and she's going to be naked with Kazemon." Kitty said.

"Oh who knows, you know she pretty much gave us a license to do whatever we want up there?" I said.

"Yeah well, let's see what's up there first." Kitty replied.

"Not the worst idea." I agreed.

We followed the purple rabbit to a bar of all things, towards the other end of the room. The only bar we had ever come across in the digital world so far.

"I need two specials for some first-timers." Gazimon said.

"Only two?" The bartender, a gotsumon, asked.

"Yeah, the others are skittish." Gazimon replied.

"Code 3?" gotsumon asked.

"Code 5 actually." Gazimon replied.

"Seriously?" Gotsumon asked. As he dispensed a raspberry colored liquid into a pair of glasses from a tap.

"Yeah, for the codes 1s that turned out to be code 6s earlier." Gazimon replied.

"What do all the codes mean?" I asked.

"It's nothing to be concerned about, don't worry. He'll get your drinks in a moment." The gazimon replied.

She served us our drinks a few seconds later

"Take it slow at first." Gazimon replied.

It was immediately clear it was alcoholic from the smell alone. The taste was anomalously intense, it felt like my entire being was composed of raspberry candy, like every nerve was just screaming "raspberry" over and over again, and little to no burning sensation from the alcohol. The delirium also set in anomalously quickly, things started to get blurry before I even set the glass down, until it was like I was seeing the world through privacy glass. It was only like this for a short time before it eventually faded and it was like was in a whole other room. Everything just seemed brighter and more beautiful, from the walls being more ornately decorated, to the music sounding heavier and more metal like there was a guy with an electric guitar somewhere, to the dress-wearing gazimon that led us over here, who's eyes seemed bigger and appeared to have grown a little bit of a bust under her dress, to my already very beautiful Kitty Kat who looked more beautiful in ways I couldn't describe. I wanted to see my Pheebles with these effects, but sadly I couldn't from where I was standing.

"Are you ok? Your thoughts are really slow like you're completely wasted. That stuff must have hit fast. Also that gazimon didn't have a chest so I'm not sure what you're looking at." She asked me telepathically.

"Can you come over here? I want to look at you. Everyone looks so much more beautiful, even the gazimon looks, well you'd have to drink this stuff to believe it. And Kitty is even more of a bombshell than normal." I replied.

"Arceus, you are wasted." Phoebe replied.

"Pheebles. Just try it." I said.

"No, and you should stop drinking it." Phoebe said.

"I'll see how slow they'll let me sip it." I replied.

"Hello? Hey Big guy? Did you get your vision back yet?" The gazimon tried to get my attention.

"Um yeah everything is, is, um, hey you're kind of cute in that dress you know that?" I said.

"The more you drink the cuter I get." She replied.

"What about me?" Kitty asked.

"You're just an angel, like your beauty defies all laws of perceptional physics." I said.

"I don't know what that means." Kitty replied.

"I don't either." I said.

"Ok let's just get you two to the elevator, you can take your drinks with you, but take them slow. " Gazimon said.

"How can your boobs be so big without looking like they're too big?" I asked.

"You're not supposed to talk like that when others are around." Kitty replied.

" I know I know, but I had to ask. They look firm, but jiggly at the same time." I said.

"Well I don't know. Why is your, oh, um….did you stick something in your pants?" Kitty said.

"Just the digivice and my pokémon as usual why?" I asked.

"Nevermind." Kitty replied.

"It's making me look bigger?" I guessed.

"Yeah." She replied.

"What are you talking about?" The gazimon asked.

"If I may ask, did you always have boobs or is that just the drink? " I asked.

"Does she even know she has boobs?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, but you've probably realized the drink's effects by now." The gazimon replied.

"So you know then?" Kitty asked.

"If you two were to take your clothes off and start playing with each other right now it wouldn't even be the weirdest thing that's ever happened here. Keep that in mind, the elevator is over here, get on, I'll send you up." The Gazimon replied.

"So if I touched them would they feel like they look or would I just be touching air? Or would I still be touching yours but they'd still feel bigger to me?" I asked.

"I swear I get asked this every single time, ok, go ahead and touch them if you want I won't feel anything unless I drank it too, but I can't do that because I work here. The drinks are really weird like that, they kind of put your senses in an alternate reality." She explained.

"Nah it's allright I just wanted to know what would happen." I said.

"Allright then, just get on the elevator." She said.

And so we did. Curiously all the controls for the elevator were on a little panel outside of it. There was only one unlabeled button on the inside. The whole apparatus was apparently controlled completely from the ground floor.

"You want to have some time to play around a bit in there before I send you up? It's soundproof and nobody can see you." Gazimon said.

"Yeah." Kitty replied.

"Ok have fun. Just press that button when you're ready and I'll send you up." Gazimon said before she closed the door.

"Kitty Kat, why'd you say that?" I asked.

"I just want to see something." She said as she set her weapon on the ground, got down on her knees and unzipped my pants.

"Holy crap you're huge." She said.

"Yeah, I feel now. Shit that's like the size you really want it to be? This is weird, it's like mine, but not mine what the hell? And I can feel it, I know that's not the way it's supposed to be but I can feel your hands on it." I asked as she started stroking me.

"I don't know, but come on, really quick? Phoebe already said we could." Kitty said.

"Great where'd they go?" Phoebe asked.

"You're the one that decided they should go up there." Zari said.

"Yeah, but they got in an elevator and I can't hear him anymore." Phoebe replied.

"Well, it's Kitty so." Saphy said.

"No I can't read digimon normally anyway." Phoebe said. "That's how I could hear Cj across the room, normally that would never work with this many other people around."

"If they went up already could you hear them from the top floor?" Chally asked.

"I wouldn't expect to through the ceiling, no." Phoebe replied.

"Well they probably went up there then." Chally said.

"Except that's the thing, I lost him right after he would've entered the elevator, then again I guess it could just be a really heavy elevator. I don't know. " Phoebe replied.

-several minutes later-

After a bit of fun Kitty and I arrived on the top floor, fully dressed with drinks in hand, I hadn't taken another sip since the first and I didn't think it had worn off yet.

The room ahead of us was mostly empty with a wide marble pathway lined with about a dozen hot tubs and a door leading to another bar of all things on the other end, with a sign outside that said "office". Most of the hot tubs were empty, containing nothing but warm, clean water. Except for the one on the far side They were simple, white and square with about a 3 ft tall wall around them for a limited sense of privacy.

"It's just Cj and Kitty." Dianamon said.

"Where's everyone else?" Venusmon asked.

"You were expecting us all to come here?" I asked.

"Wow, you weren't kidding, he really can look at you without dying." Another digimon I assumed to be Bacchusmon said. He kind of looked like a big red pac-man with a tail and a cape

"Sorry we couldn't make it back to the hotel." Venusmon replied.

"You don't need a hotel, you can just spend the night here, I guarantee it will be fun." Bacchusmon replied.

"I get that, but half our team is still back at the hotel asleep." I said.

"So who all came then?" Venusmon asked.

Mervamon was leaning against Dianamon, apparently out cold.

"Me, Kitty, Pheebles, Zari, Chally, and Saphy, are hanging around downstairs." I said.

"Is she going to be ok?" I asked.

"I told her to drink it slow, but, you probably know how she can be by now." Bacchusmon replied with a laugh.

"Uh, yeah sort of." I replied with a laugh.

"You're all naked!" Kitty said when she realized.

Even Venusmon had nothing but her eyes covered.

"I knew you were friends, didn't know you were that kind of friends." I said.

"We aren't." Dianamon said.

"Relax buddy, I can't even do that kind of thing, not every digimon can, but I can make damned good drinks." Bacchusmon said.

"Well I mean there's not really anything going on between us, but I just, didn't think I'd find you all naked." I said.

"That's fair." Dianamon replied.

"There's towels and changing rooms on the left if you want to get in yourself. I was going to have you all drink first before you came up here but you guys seem legit, I'll go tell Kazemon to let the rest of you up here." Bachusmon said before heading into his "office".

"What are we going to do?" Kitty asked.

"Look I know you don't like the water but, maybe we should, I mean Pheebles is going to come up here." I said.

"You guys should strip and come in here with us. It's just like it used to be when we were goddesses." Dianamon said.

"Yeah. I never thought I'd see this place again." Venusmon agreed.

"I think we'll take this one here, if that's allright." I said.

"Yeah, that's fine that's better than just standing there." Dianamon said.

" I might join you." Venusmon said.

"I would, but somebody is using me as a pillow." Dianamon said.

"Yeah you should probably get her out of the water so she doesn't drown." I said.

"Yeah, we probably should. " Dianamon replied.

"Let's get her out then Venusmon." She said as they both stood up and revealed their amazing breasts without a care in the world. Which made me glad I had played around with Kitty in the elevator or I would've gotten another hard on right then and there.

"Yeah, that's bachusmon." I replied.

"Um…..deusmon? And Cj and Kitty were supposed to have the night alone together?" Phoebe asked.

"You're going to need to sleep somewhere and you can move that to a different night." Bacchusmon said.
"Yeah, it's ok sister, just take a drink you have to see this. His cock is huge. You won't want to miss this." Kitty said.

"Well they're not, they're, well they're kind of filling up now." Phoebe said.

"She's not human?" Bacchusmon asked.

"Humanoid. Similar to human, but not quite, could mean anything from having a normally unnatural hair color to having extra limbs or organs. She can't put up with anything warmer than room temperature and she likes it way colder than that." I explained.

"She probably loves it here then." Bachusmon said.

"Yeah I sleep outside here, but that water would kill me." Chally replied.

"Well you're not the only one that likes it that way, there's a lot of ice loving digimon up here after all. I can set one of these to cool the water down for you, it will take a few minutes, but they can get the water to just above freezing." Bachusmon said.

"It doesn't have to be that cold 50 would be fine." Chally replied.

"Ok then I can do that." Bacchusmon replied.

"I'll probably just go back to the party on the other floor actually." Chally said.

"That's fine too. It's not a party if you're by yourself." Bacchusmon said.

"That guy seems nice." Chally said.

"Yeah I'm just waiting for the catch, what is all this going to cost us." I asked.

"For friends of those three? Absolutely nothing." Bacchusmon replied.

"He has good hearing." Kitty said.

"Yeah, seems like it." I said.

"You ready to go again yet?" Kitty asked.

"Wait until Phoebe gets back." I said.

"Again?" Chally asked.

"We messed around a bit, on the elevator." I said.

Phoebe, Zari, and Saphy came back all wearing towels.

"I guess we're doing this." Phoebe said as she set her towel on the ground and climbed in next to me.

"Yeah there we go, now I got both my ladies here." I said.

"Kitty I'll make this up to you somehow I swear." Phoebe said.

"I believe you." Kitty replied.

"And Saphy and Zari." I said.

"I've seen you all naked so many times I feel completely comfortable right now." I said.

"I'll be back with some drinks for you." Bachusmon said.

"Ok." Phoebe replied unsure.

"Well, if you say so Cj." Phoebe replied.

"Hey, you know I can't do hot tubs, so I'm just going to go back downstairs." Chally said.

"Ok then, don't worry, we'll make it up to you too Chally." Phoebe said.

"Hi." Dianamon said as she approached with Venusmon.

"Hi" Phoebe replied.

"Thought we would join you since this silly boy was too shy to do so earlier." Dianamon said.

"Yeah that's definitely a Cj thing. Is Mervamon ok?" Phoebe replied.

"She's out for the night, sadly, she drank too much." Dianamon said.

"Hehe, ok." Phoebe replied.

"She'll just have to miss out on all the fun." Zari said.

"This is going to drain me dry." I said.

"Don't worry about that the drinks will help. You'll have plenty for all of us." Venusmon said.

"The worst thing is that we really are going to have to stop at some point." Dianamon said.

"That and Chally and the newbies couldn't make it." Phoebe said.

"Could you imagine if ninjamon was here right now?" Saphy asked.

"That little weirdo would be face down in the tub completely out of it." Zari laughed.

"Yeah." Saphy said.

"You just tell him to drink the whole fucking thing and see what happens." I said, nearly bursting into laughter.

"You don't know how long it's been since we've had a night like this." Dianamon said.

"Actually this is my first." Venusmon said.

"Oh wow, yeah it is isn't it? Cause most guys can't look at you for more than three seconds without creaming themselves, and that's with your clothes on." Dianamon asked.

"Yeah." Venusmon replied.

"Allright, I got enough drinks for all of you. Enjoy, I gotta go check on the other floors then I'll probably turn in for the night I'll call Kazemon up here to get you more drinks if you need them. I see exactly where this is going so I'll just give you all your privacy." Bacchusmon said as he returned with a tray loaded with drinks.

"Yeah, bring her up here." Phoebe said.

"She'll be excited enough just to come up here. If she wants to engage in whatever this is that's up to her." Bacchusmon replied as Venusmon started passing out drinks since she was closest to the entrance.

"She implied she's never been up here before." I said.

"Right, well, this room was sort of intended to be a meeting place for the olympos twelve, hence the twelve hot tubs, in case we all got back together again, but that has yet to happen, and these three are the only ones that have returned." Bachusmon said. " I never invite anyone up here, even my own staff."

"Well you're hiding the whole city so." Dianamon replied.

"Yeah, I got a group of Wizardmon handling that for me, pretty cool trick huh? Even the dark kings themselves would struggle to find this place, much less their armies. I was hoping we could all reunite sometime after this whole thing is dealt with and we won't have to hide anymore." Bachusmon said.

"Maybe someday. I know we touched on this earlier, but do you have any idea where Ceresmon is? I was kind of half expecting her to be here with you." Dianamon asked.

"Yeah actually, she was here for a while but you know she's always been a plant digimon at heart. And eventually she got sick of the cold, a few days ago she took a bunch of survivors with her and headed back south, including another group of wizardmon, so hopefully she was able to set up another sanctuary there. She said she would send a messenger when she could, haven't received any word yet though." Bachusmon said.

"And you haven't seen any of the others?" Dianamon asked.

"Merukimon said he was going to head up here somewhere, which is exactly why I moved up here, but you know how he's always been, if he doesn't want to be found, he's not going to be found. I've no doubt he's still kicking around. Probably keeping tabs on the enemy and causing trouble for them whenever he can. The scouting forces I sent out aren't just looking for survivors, but also him as well." Bachusmon replied. "They're still out there looking though, I get messages from them every day. I got a few harpymon and birdramon braving the cold to make that whole operation possible."

"Anyway this is goodnight, try not to make a mess of the place." Bachusmon said.

"Goodnight, thanks for everything old friend." Dianamon replied.

With that, Bachusmon headed to the elevator.

"Well, now that he's gone, who's going first?" Phoebe asked.

"You and your cute grey butt." I said.

"You should drink first, trust me." Dianamon said.

"Everybody have a drink?" Venusmon asked.

"You want to toast?" Phoebe asked.

"Feels weird with only half our group here." Zari said.

"Not to mention that we're all naked and Cj is the only boy here." Saphy added.

" We've all seen eachother naked before." Phoebe said.

"Well yeah." Saphy said.

"We've done all the things before." Phoebe said.

"Toast to Cj's big weiner?" Kitty suggested.

"To deusmon's destruction." Dianamon suggested.

"Sounds good to me." Zari agreed.

"Yeah, there we go." I said.

"Yeah." Phoebe agreed, followed by Saphy and Venusmon.

"Oh and before we do this just take a sip, don't down the whole thing don't end up like Mervamon over there." I said.

"Right, especially you Saphy." Phoebe said.

We raised our glasses together and imbibed some of the liquid within.

"I think this is the best drink I ever had in the whole time we've been here." Phoebe said.

"Yeah it kicks the cabbages to the curb it's way better than that pathetic excuse for icecream we had earlier." I said.

"Ok why are my boobs so big? Why is your dick so big, what the?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah it kicks in really fast too." I said.

"This is weird, this is really, really weird." Phoebe said. "Even the room looks more beautiful."

And then you'll be with me and Saphy, and then there's only three of you to share between the four of us so we'll just switch for every round, and then I think, I'll have a round with Kitty, and Cj will have a round alone with Saphy. And then the rest of you can do whatever you want but I'm having a round alone with my Cj, and then, I don't even know. We'll have to work Kazemon into that somewhere hopefully when she gets here. "Yeah well, you're not supposed to, this is just intended for parties. It's called a love finder, it uses a lot of bachusmon's power and just a touch of mine actually." Venusmon said. "It makes almost everyone of whatever gender you're interested in look more attractive so your judgement won't be clouded by superficial things. It's supposed to help people find real love and then they're supposed to stop drinking it. " She said.
