Hilariously I woke up snuggling with Violet, as Kitty curled up like she usually does and Violet's body shape is just similar enough to Phoebe's that my tired brain assumed it was her.

"Goodmorning Pheebles." I said, tiredly as I kissed her on the head.

It was only then that I opened my eyes and came to the realization I was snuggling with the flowery digimon.

I let her go and rolled over to check on Kitty.

A few seconds passed before she responded.

"Yes please." She said, before getting up and changing to her persiamon form to quickly dress herself. I took a bit longer to quietly get dressed, then we headed over to the entrance to the other bedroom. I cracked open the door, confirming my beloved was still asleep before opening it further.

"Ok, go in there, stay quiet, you know what you wanna do." I whispered.

"Mhm." She replied.

Lillymon was awake, crying in the corner, in the fetal position.

"That's a good sign." Phoebe said tentavily, unsure what to make of the pitiful digimon. And she wasn't unsure very often.

"No." Lillymon replied.

"What's going on in here?" Kitty said as she finally decided to get out of bed.

"I saw everything." Lillymon said. "I killed so many."

"No you didn't that was deusmon." Phoebe replied.

"I heard their screams, as I killed their friends, their cries as they begged for their own lives, their last breaths." Lillymon said.

"You wanna talk to DarkVioletmon? She was just here a while ago." Phoebe said.

"No, please, no! Keep her away from me." Lillymon replied.

"She's not evil anymore, she's changed. We just call her Violet now. " Phoebe said.

"Ok, ok, calm down I'm just trying to help you." Phoebe said.

"Listen, we beat Deusmon, you don't have to worry about him anymore, he can't hurt anyone else. And, if you want to forget everything you've seen, I might be able to help with that." Phoebe said.

"You can?" Lillymon asked.

"Maybe, my powers, they're not as effective on digimon. But you wanna give it a try?" Phoebe said as she offered her hand.

"No, I, I just need some time. I can't forget, I shouldn't forget, " Lillymon said.

"Ok well, we're going to be leaving in a little while, you're free to come with us." Phoebe said.

"I guess I will, for now." Lillymon replied.

"Great, but if you come with us, you're going to have to deal with Violet eventually." Phoebe said.

"That's ok I guess, just not now. You'll help me, right?" She asked.

"Of course." Phoebe warmly replied.

"You want to meet the others with us? You might end up meeting Violet sooner than you want, but I mean, what else are you going to do? Just stay in here by yourself?" Phoebe asked.

I just, I don't know how to deal with everything I've seen." She said.

"Weeks? I was asleep for weeks?" She asked once Kitty's words sunk in a bit more.

"It was the only way we could keep you contained." Phoebe explained.

"Until now?" She asked.

"Well Deusmon left you somehow." Phoebe said.

"I need to lie down." Lillymon said.

"Well there's a bed in that room over there you can rest your head for a bit." Phoebe said. "Cj, can you and Kitty go talk to the others, I'm going to stay here and make sure she's ok."

"I promise I'll keep my clothes on. Yes I'm serious she needs help." She added a few moments later.

"Yeah, ok." I replied.

Kitty and I left the house a minute or two later.

"Do you think she'll really keep her clothes on?" Kitty asked.

"She usually keeps her promises. That, and Lillymon seems way too traumatized to be in the mood for that for a while atleast." I said.

"Traumatized?" She asked.

"Deusmon hijacked her body and killed who even knows how many innocent digimon, if she really saw all of it, she's hurting pretty bad."

"In her head?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, you're getting it." I said.

"Too bad white digiroot can't fix that." Kitty said.

" Phoebe offered to help her and she refused so, somethings, you know it's best to let them heal naturally. Somethings shouldn't be forgotten, no matter how horrible they are. All those empty towns, all those lives lost." I said.

"Atleast we won, now nobody else has to suffer." Kitty said.

"Yeah." I agreed with a smile.

"Now we just need to find out whatever happened to Ophanimon." She said.

"yep." I replied.

"And then you can show me that house and those babies you and Pheebles keep talking about." She continued.

" Hopefully, but we might have a few more worlds to go through yet, I have no idea." I said.

"Remember when your daughter was just a kid?" She asked.

"Which one?" I asked.

"Kinessa, or whatever her name was? Kinezya?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, she liked you, until she grew up and started taking her career more seriously. That girl, looked up to me so damned much, I don't she ever truly understood I was only in the U.S.C because it was the best chance I had at finding Pheebles. I never really had the heart to tell her. That said, I was genuinely proud of her. I wonder how Nina will react when I tell her about her. I wonder how she'll react to you too." I said.

"Do you think she'll be mad?" Kitty asked.

"Probably more curious than anything. I think you'll get along. She's probably going to ask you a lot of questions, I can tell you that much." I said.

"And Charley?" Kitty asked.

"I have no idea what he'll think of you, but I think you'll get along well once he gets used to you." I said.

"I hope so, anyway where are we going?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know, anyone in particular you want to try to meet up with first today?" I asked.

"What about Saphy?" Kitty asked.

"Ok, she's probably staying with Zari so we'll go to this house over here then and check on them." I said.

"Ok. But don't start kissing Zari." Kitty said.

"I'll tell Phoebe." She said.

"She'd find out anyway, cute to see you jealous though." I replied.

We went over to the house Zari was staying at. She was usually up early, so unsurprisingly she answered the door fully dressed.

"Kitty? You're up early?" Zari said.

"Yeah I finally got to wake Phoebe up today." Kitty replied.

"Where's Phoebe?" Zari asked.

"Lillymon finally woke up this morning and she didn't want to leave her alone in our house." I said.

"And you're comfortable with leaving them alone together?" Zari asked.

"Lillymon is in pretty rough shape so, as good as Phoebe is at that, I don't think she can pull that one off. That and she's still a good girl you know? She genuinely wants to help her." I said.

"I see. Well, I was just about to head outside and see if anyone else is up." Zari replied.

" Is Saphy up?" Kitty asked.

"What do you want Kitty?" Saphy asked from one of the other rooms in the house.

"I just wanted to see you ." Kitty said.

"Why?" Saphy asked.

"Because we're friends." Kitty said.

"Ookayy." Saphy replied as she approached the door way.

"We are, aren't we?" Kitty asked, somewhat concerned.

"Yeah, of course." Saphy replied.

"You get packed up yet?" Zari asked.

"Not much to pack, most of it just fits in the digivice." I said.

"Does Phoebe know you're here?" Zari asked.

"No, but I don't think she'll mind if we just talk." I said.

"Well why don't both of you just come in then? I guess we can talk for a little while." Zari said.

"Allright." I replied.

"Challey's with the newbies again huh?" I asked.

"Yeah, she's just trying to reconnect with them a bit, and she wants to fly in the mechanorimon I think too." Zari replied.

There was a period of awkward silence until she spoke up again.

"What do you think the next world will be like?" She asked.

"Who knows? We could end up in another kid's show and have to save the world from some ridiculously campy villain that, I don't know wants to shave people's pets?" I said.

"Really that's the best you could come up with?" Zari asked.

"On the fly yeah? And it's not impossible, we could end up anywhere, any time period. We could even end up right back in another digital world." I said.

"What about the nexus?" Zari asked.

"We could end up back there, on the train, like none of this never happened, Zari, there isn't much that's not on the table." I said.

"Do you think Ophanimon will let us go with you?" Saphy asked.

"I don't think we're going to give her much of a choice." I said.

"Why wouldn't she?" Zari asked.

"Yeah, why wouldn't she?" I added.

"I don't know, but, it bothers me to think." Saphy said.

"Well we're not giving her a choice on that matter Kitty is mine now." I said as I playfully pulled her close.

"Mhm." Kitty agreed.

"And you know IceLeomon isn't going to want to be separated from his wives either. So don't worry about it, we beat Deusmon, she obviously felt that she couldn't on her own or she wouldn't have roped us into all this to begin with, " I said.

"So you think she's weaker than us?" Zari asked.

"That'd be my guess." I replied.

"But she's a goddess." Zari said.

"So?" I asked.

"I take it you never learned about divine class entities." Zari said.

"Well go ahead and fill me in." I said.

"They can warp reality. They can turn your guns into flowers, the ground into lava, etc. Even the space police generally leaves them alone. Because even if they can be defeated, the costs and lives involved isn't worth it." Zari said.

"Well, yeah, but, if she can do that then she could've just snapped deusmon out of existence. Why is she hiding? You saw what deusmon was doing in the space world, swallowing entire capital ships and planets. You're telling me that . . . . . . thing wasn't one of them too?" I said.

"Look just, don't get too cocky." Zari said.

"Well, we might not even have to fight her, we'll just have to see when we get there." I said.

"I hope we don't, it could end badly for all of us." Zari said.

"I don't think she's actually at that level, since she went into hiding, it's safe to assume she's not, or if she does have powers like that, she's not entirely well versed in how to use them and if she was that powerful she wouldn't need any of us and we'd probably still be on that train." I said.

"We never would have met." Kitty said.

"Yeah, but we did, and now I have you and Pheebles, and I'm never letting either of you go if I can help it, so." I replied.

"He has a point." Saphy said.

"Yeah, but that's no reason to let our guard down." Zari replied.

"That's true." I replied.

"So maybe we should go check on Henry and Claire now?" Zari asked after a period of silence where nobody could think of anything else to say.

"Yeah, let's see if they're awake yet." I said.

When we got to their place we saw the lights were still off, so we went to check on IceLeomon instead in case they needed some alone time.

Iceleomon was out in front of his house sparring with Ninjamon, who apparently got kicked out of Henry and Claire's.

"Did Henry and Claire kick you out?" I asked.

"They uh, wanted some alone time." He replied.

"Ok, fair enough." I replied.

"Are we leaving today?" Iceleomon asked.

"As soon as we can get everyone gathered up." I replied.

"We're mostly just waiting on Kazemon to get back here with the army. She was out all day yesterday trying to gather them up. From what I've heard from Dianamon there's still around 300 digimon, so assembling a force that large might take a while." Zari said.

"We could send the newbies to help." I said.

"Yeah, possibly." Zari said.

"Challey wants to fly, that should be simple enough for her to learn. No enemies or anything to worry about." I said.

"Yeah, we should go ask them to help so we can get out of here faster." Zari said.

"Right, why don't we go see if Lussy is awake then?" I suggested.

"You can handle that. I'm going to stay here and keep training until we're all ready to leave." Iceleomon said.

"That's funny, you think you can last that long." Ninjamon said.

"You got something to say? Pipsqueak." Iceleomon replied.

"Not today." Ninjamon replied.

"Don't get roughed up too much we got a lot of walking to do today and nobody is going to carry your ass." Zari said.

"Can I ride one without getting hurt?" Ninjamon asked.

"I don't know. Go ask one when Kazemon gets back." I replied.

"I'll have to look into it." Ninjamon said.

"Ok then let's go see the newbies." Zari said.

"Allright, let's go, come on Kitty." I said.

"What if Lussy is still asleep?" Saphy asked.

"Then we'll wake her up." Zari said.

"If she's still asleep go ahead, knock yourself out." Zari said as we approached the house the newbies were staying in.

Zari knocked on the door we heard some scrambling around inside before Kiera finally answered.

"Good awakening." She said after opening the door.

"Is Lussy up yet?" Kitty asked.

"I think so, but she's still in bed." Kiera replied.

"Well tell her to get dressed we're leaving as soon as Kazemon gathers the army up." Zari said.

"Fine." Kitty said.

"Ok, well, we're going to need some more time to get packed up." Kiera replied before leaving the door for a moment to get Lussy up.

Lussy approached the door later, in her pajamas.

"Goodmorning. Where's Phoebe? " She said.

"Lillymon woke up this morning, she's trying to comfort her." I explained.

"You mean BlackLillymon?" Illustria asked.

"No, when that thing left her she turned back into a normal lillymon." I said.

"Weird." Lussy replied.

"Get dressed and get packed we're going to be leaving today when Kazemon gets the army gathered up." Zari said.

"I was thinking we could take the mechanorimon down and just wait for them at the vehicles. It would save a day or so." Lussy said.

"No, we shouldn't leave them behind like that, its bad form." Zari said.

"If you say so. We'll be ready, we just need a few minutes." Lussy replied, somewhat disappointed.

"Good." Zari replied as Lussy left and closed the door behind her.

"Now what?" I asked.

"We could go check on Henry and Claire again." Zari suggested.

"Nah, they're not ready yet." Phoebe said after randomly dropping in.

"Everyone, this is Lillymon." She continued introducing lillymon to the others.

"I know, but Zari and Saphy haven't met her yet, and neither have the newbies." Phoebe said.

"Just wait until everyone gathers around, then you can introduce her to the whole group at once." Zari suggested.

"Ok." Phoebe replied.

"Hey Cj?" She asked a moment later.

"But first we need to introduce you to everyone." Phoebe said.

"You guys are still standing here?" Kiera asked as she opened the door.

"Yeah, we got lost in conversation, also this is lillymon." Phoebe said.

"Weird." Kiera replied as the other newbies were putting their coats on behind her, except for Chally. They were ready to come out a minute later and joined our group.

After that we headed back to IceLeomon's where he was just starting to wear Ninjamon down.

"Ok I think that's enough fighting. " Zari said as he looked pretty roughed up.

"I can win, I just need more time." Ninjamon said.

"No you can't, you never have, he has always beaten you to a pulp. You should stop." Zari pointed out.

"Well, he is getting better. He's getting harder to hit." Iceleomon said.

"You already look like you lost. Isn't this just supposed to be a friendly fight? You're not supposed to keep going until you can't get up anymore dummy." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, you should stop." Saphy agreed.

"If you say so. I guess you win today big guy, again." Ninjamon caved.

"Allright then. Maybe tomorrow you'll be even stronger." IceLeomon replied.

"How about any of you? You wanna try to beat me?" Iceleomon asked.

"No." Phoebe said.

"Not really." I added.

"Yeah it's not really a fair fight." Zari pointed out.

"I can try." Kitty said.

"Not right now Kitty Kat." I said.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Because we're about ready to get going." I said.

"Ok, you think I could win though?" She replied.

"Considering you can digivolve and he can't, probably." I said.

"You sure about that?" IceLeomon asked.

"Chill out, we're not doing this right now. It's going to be a long day." I said.

"Yeah." Kitty chimed.

"Blacklillymon?" Violet called out from across the street.

"Ummm." Lillymon seemed to panic as she came over, Angela and the Angemon we just met yesterday trailing behind, almost looking like a couple.

"It's allright I'll handle this for you." Phoebe said reassuringly.

"Violet, she's just a lillymon now." Phoebe said.

"How?" Violet asked.

"I don't really understand it either." Phoebe said.

"You! You betrayed it." Lillymon said.

"You basically sentenced me to die, what did you expect me to do?" Violet said.

"It wasn't me, it was whatever that was. All I could do, was watch, ever since we defeated duskmon." Lillymon said.

"That's not possible, we defeated duskmon." Phoebe said.

" You don't remember?" Lillymon asked.

"Oh fuck you are that one palmon that went with us aren't you?" I said.

"What? Really?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, lillymon is her ultimate form." I explained. She didn't know , she only ever saw a few episodes of season 3.

"I take it she absorbed duskmon's data?" Saphy said.

"Yeah, that was before we even met you two and we tried to fight him with our pokémon, and it didn't go that well. I mean we won, but most of our pokémon were out of commission." I said.

"I guess we'll just add it to the list of things that have gone wrong." Saphy said.

"Yep, pretty much." I replied.

"What's this about? When did you have a palmon with you?" Iceleomon asked.

"That was pretty much when we just got here, we didn't even meet Kitty or Saphy yet, and she was the only digimon in the entire village that volunteered to help us." I said.

"So she was the bravest one there?" Iceleomon asked.

"You could say that." Phoebe replied.

"Are Henry and Claire ready yet?" Zari asked Phoebe.

"Um, gimme a second." Phoebe replied before closing her eyes for a moment.

" They're getting dressed, so they'll probably be out in a few minutes or so." She said a moment later.

"I killed, a lot of palmon because I was afraid of whatever was inside you." Violet said.

" it did too and so many others, you were right to turn against it. Hopefully we can both move past that now." Lillymon replied.

"Exactly we're all on the same team." Phoebe chimed.

"Right." Violet agreed.

"What team? What are we doing?" Lillymon asked.

"It's complicated. We beat deusmon, but now we have to head back south to find Ophanimon, and the goddesses aren't really fond of her, so they might fight, but, we just want to move on to the next world to get closer to getting back to our kids." Phoebe said.

"Are you in then?" Zari asked.

"I got nowhere else to go." Lillymon replied.

"Great, then you can join us on the bus, when we get back there." Phoebe said.

A couple hours later, after meeting up with Henry and Claire, Kazemon and the goddesses, and the entire army of digimon we still had at our disposal, our march down the mountain began. It wasn't nearly as treacherous as the march up. And honestly, not much happened that was worth mentioning.

We spent the whole day traversing down that series of surprisingly sturdy staircases and wooden platforms that seemed to go on forever. Over the side was an endless void of white caused by low lying clouds blending in with the distant, rocky, snow-covered ground. This went away once we were lower than said clouds.

Passing through them was the scariest part of it all, as that part of the staircase is seemingly perpetually foggy, because the clouds never move, a because of this there was also barely any buildings there, and it was even more difficult to navigate at night. So it was important to make it passed that point by dark. Thankfully we accomplished this easily enough.

We stopped somewhere halfway down for the night, where there were several small wooden houses to stay in. A little further up from the spot we stayed at on the way up. There was still quite a long way down.

Unknown to us, we were being followed by a single monitamon working for volkheim, equipped with a small 4 wheeled electric vehicle volkheim and the bubble men constructed while they were waiting around here. Actually, Volkheim and co put the time in to design and construct a small fleet of crude electric vehicles out of various parts obtained from the maker machines, which, due to the broken rules of the digital world had infinite battery life, which also meant they could get by with using a comically small battery. Aside from the small cart for the monitamon, the other vehicles had a strange design with a primitive-tank like suspension and steering, and many wheels so they could use as many motors as possible as the motors they could get were not suited for cars and somewhat limited in power, that said, with 8 motors, unlimited range and a combined total of 40hp, they worked and they were faster than walking. Each could carry two Bubblemen to about 30mph. With the smaller just as fast, it was just about enough speed to keep up with us.

"Cj I think I just want to be alone with you tonight." Phoebe said.

"Awwwe, really?" Kitty asked.

"Please don't start this again, you can come snuggle with us in the morning." Phoebe said.

"Ok fine." Kitty replied.

"It's been a really long day I just want to be with my husband." Phoebe said as she took her coat off.

"I wanna be with him too." Kitty said.

"Yeah, but, he's my husband." Phoebe said.

"Goodnight Kitty Kat." I said before kissing her on the cheek.

"Goodnight." She said, sounding somewhat sad.

"Hey don't worry we'll still have the morning." I replied.

"You're feeling tired too aren't you Pheebles?" I said as I laid down on the bed.

"Yeah." She replied as she closed the door behind her.

"I just want to be held." She said as she laid down next to me.

"Something bothering you?" I asked.

"No, I just want my husband to hold me." She said.

"I think I can do that." I said as I pulled her close.

"I know you can." She replied.

"I hope Kitty doesn't take it too hard." Phoebe said.

"Eh, she's probably halfway used to it by now." I said.

"I can't wait until we get back on the bus. Then we can play around some more, maybe even get Lillymon in on the whole thing." She said.

"Maybe, I can't wait until we get to bachusmon's." I said.

"Ohhh, then we'll have a big party." Phoebe said.

"Is it going to end up like last time?" I asked.

"Nah I think we'll just keep it between us, Kitty, and maybe Saphy and Zari. Chally doesn't like the hot tubs, and we have way too many girls now for us to play with them all in one night." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, it's weird how that worked out." I said.

"Well, it helps pass the time." Phoebe said.

"Yeah that's true." I said.

"And we're getting to the point where we'll have to say goodbye to the goddesses." I said.

"Yeah, I know, I'm going to let Venusmon have one night alone with you, if that's ok, as a farewell present." Phoebe said.

"That's allright, we'll deal with that when we get there." I said.

"Right." Phoebe replied.

"The only girl I want to think about right now is the one in my arms." I said.

"Awwwoooh, Cjaaay." She amorously replied.

"My sweet sweet queen." I softly said to her.

"Just keep holding me for a bit longer. Then maybe we'll play around some." Phoebe said.

"We don't spend enough nights with just the two of us anymore." I said.

"And you know I love you, I'm not just doing this to be mean to Kitty because she woke me up this morning." She said.

"I know." I replied.

"Now, why don't you help me out of my boots and we'll get started." She asked.

"You've been wearing them this whole time?" I asked as I somehow hadn't noticed.

"All day, just for you, for tonight." She said, playfully and cutely.

"Well aren't you sweet?" I asked playfully.

"Mhhm." She replied.

"Just stay quiet, we don't need to get Kitty all worked up." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"And I wanna start by kissing you first." I said.

"We can start anyway you want." She happily replied.

"Maybe I'll just tickle you then." I said, teasingly.

"But then I'll get loud and who knows what Kitty will do?" She asked.

"Eh, good point." I said.

I kissed her head, her cheeks and finally her lips

"I love you." I said, completely enamored.

"I wuv you too, but I know you can kiss me deeper than that." She replied.

We started to make out, which led to making love, passionately, but quietly, not wanting to bother Kitty. Then we fell asleep sometime later.

The next day came, I had another quick session with her and Kitty, and then at some point we resumed our trek, we stopped at some of the lowest houses for the night as it was late in the afternoon and if we kept going we'd have to stop in the middle of nowhere, with little more than a tent for comfort. We weren't in a hurry anymore so it just made more sense to take the more comfortable option. It was a bit too early to turn in so we had a bit of free time to just hang around.

"What happened to last night?" Zari asked.

"Tired." Phoebe replied.

"They didn't even let me in last night." Kitty said.

"We let you in in the morning." Phoebe said.

"After I had to spend the whole night alone." Kitty said.

"You pretty much sleep on your own most of the time anyway." I pointed out.

She doesn't like being held when she's asleep because she has accidently hurt one of her exs that way before.

" Yeah, well it's not the same." She said.

"Anyway what about tonight?" Zari asked.

"You really want his cock don't you?" Phoebe teased.

"Pheebles." I scolded.

"What? I can read her very clearly." Phoebe said.

"Let's find something else to do." I said.

"Like what?" My beloved asked.

"We got a few hours of daylight left, we could let some of our pokémon out." I said

"Yeah, I guess so, that sounds nice actually." Phoebe said.

"I wonder what our digimon army is going to do with its free time?" Zari asked.

"I don't know, you think they know any games?" I asked.

"Don't they have to set up camp first?" Phoebe asked.

"True. It looks like that's what they're doing now." I replied.

They were all busy setting up their tents on the ground, just a few flights of stairs down. A few of which were intended for larger digimon and were as big as a small house. We had a great view of it all from where we were at the time.

"Hey Phoebe maybe I could do some training?" Saphy asked.

"You should train against Kitty, I've told you this before I'm a psychic type, I'm not good at fighting up close." Phoebe said.

"Kitty Kat you want to help her train?" I asked.

"Um, yeah I guess." Kitty agreed.

"We're friends right?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah." Kitty replied.

"So you'll help me get stronger?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, I guess." Kitty said.

"Just remember don't hurt her." I said.

"I know, I'm not that dumb." She grumpily replied.

"Yeah, and I know your history." I said before kissing her on the cheek.

"You should go down there so nobody accidently falls off." Phoebe said.

"Yeah that's a good idea there's not a whole lot of room up here." Zari agreed.

"Yeah let's go down there." Saphy said.

"Allright." Kitty agreed.

"Love you, might go down there in a bit I have no idea." I said.

"I'll see you tonight." Kitty replied.

"For sure." I agreed.

"Kitty Kat." Phoebe said.

"What?" Kitty asked.

"Don't get hurt." Phoebe said.

"I'll try not to." Kitty replied before they both walked away.

"I think I see Iceleomon down there, already fighting Ninjamon again." I said.

"That little guy never gives up." Zari said.

"I hope he doesn't bother Saphy too much." Phoebe said.

"He really does have a thing for her doesn't he?" I said.

"Yeah, but sadly she's almost three times his height, so." Phoebe said.

"It would be funny if he digivolved into something handsome." Zari said.

"Yeah, and give Cj some competition." Phoebe said.

"Competition for what? I have you and Kitty and maybe Zari?" I said as I playfully pulled Phoebe close.

"Maybe." Zari replied.

"And that's enough for me. These other girls are fun to play with but we're going to have to split up eventually, unless we get our ship back, or a mansion or something. Hell we're already going to have to make major renovations to our house to keep you and Kitty comfortable. And that's going to be a huge undertaking, you know how long it's going to take to get all the supplies through from the pokémon world?" I said to Zari.

"Not that long, portal facility traffic isn't that bad, just a few extra hours maybe." Phoebe said.

"If they find the right portal." I said.

"They'll know the number." Phoebe replied.

"Portal facility?" Zari asked.

"Yeah, our worlds are connected by a bunch of portals housed in this huge building, it's been that way for a couple years, you'll see it if we ever get back there." Phoebe replied.

"Ok." Zari said.

"Anyway, you wanna go down there too?" Phoebe asked.

"I'm kind of content to just stay up here and watch them play for a bit, we got a great view over the railing here." I said.

"Yeah, it is kind of pretty." She said.

"And it will be sunset in an hour or so I think." I said.

"That's about right." Zari said.

"Sounds romantic." Phoebe said.

"Exactly." I replied.

"Ok, you've won me over." Said my beloved.

"I guess I'm in too." Zari said.

"Maybe we will have some fun with you tonight." Phoebe replied.

"Maybe." Zari replied.

"Ok why don't you go ahead and digivolve Saphy." Kitty said.

"Are you going to as well?" Saphy asked.

"I think I'm faster in this form, not as strong, but faster." Kitty said.

"And since you're not trying to hurt me it should be more of a challenge." Saphy said before kicking off her boots and coat so she could digivolve as they weren't part of her form and wouldn't change when she did so, she slipped her coat back on afterwards but it was a bit small for her Oceanamon form.

"Right." Kitty replied.

"I about need a different coat for this form." Saphy said.

"I don't even bother taking it off just to digivolve, it just falls to the ground anyway." Kitty said.

"You're not afraid of it getting stuck inside you or something?" Saphy asked.

"You know how much jewelry I wear? It's never happened before." Kitty replied.

"Allright come on, try to attack already." Kitty said.

"Right." Saphy replied before their battle began.

-back up on the stairs-

"And there they go." I said.

"It's looks like Iceleomon's wives are going at it too." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, hey Zari maybe you should try sparring against them, they've been training too." I said.

"Not right now, not in the mood to get all sore and bruised and shit." Zari replied.

"Fair enough." I replied.

"Is Iceleomon watching them fight or is he still messing around with Ninjamon?" I asked.

"I can't tell, too high up." Phoebe said.

"We should get some chairs." Zari said.

"Yeah, there's some around that restaurant over there, let's go grab a few." Phoebe said.

We stole some wooden chairs from a nearby abandoned restaurant as well as a brazier to light up to get some heat, there were many scattered along the staircase that the digimon used for presumably similar reasons. With HellBlade, my hounddoom's assistance we quickly got a fire going. A fire at our backs and a beautiful view before us, we were set for the evening.

Then the newbies came over.

"Is that supposed to be on fire?" Lussy asked.

"Yeah, that's what they're for." I replied.

"You've never seen one?" Phoebe asked.

"I've seen them all over this place, I had no idea what they were." Lussy replied.

"It's how they used to light some places before electricity." Chally said.

"Or sometimes just for ambience. It also gives good heat too." I said.

"Yeah, enough to make it comfortable to sit here but not enough for me to want to take my coat off." Phoebe said.

"What are you guys doing here anyway?" Selenia asked.

"Just watching everything going on the ground. What are you doing out here?" Phoebe said.

"We're probably just going to go practice with the mechanorimon." Lussy said.

"Yeah, that way Chally can get a little more familiar with them." Kiera added.

"So which one of you is going to be on the bus when we get back?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, we'll have a bit to figure it out don't we?" Lussy asked.

"Yeah, I think Cj is going to miss Chally though if she's not there." Phoebe replied.

"Why do you keep throwing me under the bus?" I asked.

"I dunno." Phoebe playfully replied.

"Well don't worry too much I'll have to be back on at some point." Chally said.

"I know, but he loves sucking your toes so much." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles, cut it out." I said.

"It's not a secret, relax, we all know." Phoebe said.

"That doesn't make it less embarrassing." I replied.

"Well it should." Phoebe said.

"It doesn't." Chally replied.

"You're going out of your way to embarrass them." Selenia said.

" Pheebles, baby girl come on that's enough." I said, starting to get annoyed with her.

"Ok fine." She replied.

"I don't get you sometimes you know that?" I asked as she playfully giggled at me.

"I'm just teasing you." She said.

"by thinking of the most embarrassing things you could possibly say?" I asked.

"No those aren't even close to the most embarrassing things I could say." She said.

"Well um, we'll let you know when we decide who's going on the bus, but daylight is limited so we need to get going." Lussy said.

"Ok, we'll see you later then, be careful Chally, don't get hurt." Phoebe said.

"I'll try not to." Chally replied.

"Wouldn't want anything to happen to your pretty toes." Phoebe teased.

"Can you like just push her chair over or something?" I asked Zari.

"Why don't you?" Zari asked.

"Because it looks bad if I do it." I said.

"No wait don't please, I'll stop." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, now that they're gone. Pheebles, you gotta stop doing that." I said.

"Sorry." She replied.

"You don't mean it." I said.

"Well, . . . . . I love you." She said.

"I'm starting to wonder if you're actually a bigger mess than Kitty." I said.

"Ok, that kind of hurts." Phoebe said.

"Then stop doing that." I said.

"Fine." She replied.

"Let's just forget that happened and go back to having a relaxing evening." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"Now that the newbies are heading out there we'll have a whole other thing to watch." I said.

"Mhm." She replied.

"See it's not that embarrassing is it?" She said once we got comfortable.

"Ok." Phoebe sheepishly replied.

"You and your big puffy coat." I said as I cuddled with her.

"I know, you took over half a universe to find me." I said.

"Mhm, that's right, and I'd do it again, and again, because you're my Cj and I'll always love you." She said.

"What do you want Pheebles?" I asked.

"Nothing, I'm just trying to make up for earlier." She said.

"Hey look, there go the newbies." She said a few moments later as they flew overhead after taking off from a higher platform a few flights of stairs up.

"Which one is Challey's ?" She asked.

"No idea, probably whatever one is wobbling the most." I said.

"They're all wobbling about the same." Phoebe said.

"Then I got no idea." I said.

"And there's four of them so they must have taken one of the goddesses'." Phoebe continued.

"I wonder what they're up to right now?" I asked.

"No you gotta move that tent over to the left, it's off center, it makes the whole thing look un-uniform. " Mervamon demanded.

"But." A wargarururmon objected.

"Just do it!" Mervamon interrupted.

"Does it have to be that perfect?" Dianamon asked.

"Yes, if it's not perfect then the enemy will be much less intimidated." Mervamon said.

"What enemy?" Dianamon asked.

"Ophanimon's forces for one." Mervamon said.

"We don't even know if they exist." Dianamon pointed out.

"Well, we can't take chances. We've come this far, it's too late to let our guard down. Also where's Venusmon?" Mervamon said.

"She was starting to get hot in all her clothes so she went to her tent, she doesn't want anyone to see her." Dianamon said.

"I see. I guess it's for the best, we're running out of daylight, and we can't accomplish nearly as much with all these boys eyeing her." Mervamon replied.

"Construction on the south block is well underway." Kazemon flew in to report.

"Good, how is the symmetry?" Mervamon asked.

"Good, I think, but you might want to see for yourself." Kazemon said.

"I will, once this idiot fixes his problem. A BIT MORE TO THE RIGHT, PAY ATTENTION COME ON, WE'RE SHORT ON DAYLIGHT." Mervamon said.

"Yes goddess." The poor wargarurumon replied.

"Seriously Mervamon ease up, we're not going to get attacked." Dianamon said.

"How do you know that that angemon isn't some sort of spy planning on leading us into a trap?" Mervamon asked.

"We don't, but, he actually has to be leading us to do that and we're not even moving right now." Dianamon pointed out.

"Kazemon, why don't you go find those angels and keep an eye on them." Mervamon said.

"Really? They know I'm on your side." Kazemon said.

"Just do it, don't question it." Mervamon said.

"Ok, fine." Kazemon said.

"That's yes goddess." Mervamon insisted.

"Yes goddess." Kazemon unenthusiastically replied.

"Come on Dianamon let's go check out the south block." Mervamon said.

"Ok." Dianamon replied.

Several minutes later-

Kazemon spotted the two angelic digimon conversing

"So you were the last one to leave Skyland?" Angemon asked Angela.

"Yeah, as far as I know, I was alone up there for quite some time." Angela replied.

"How is it?" He asked.

"It's still a wreck, I'm not sure what you were expecting. I can't repair the whole place by myself." Angela replied.

"And when did you come down here?" Angemon asked.

"The alarm went off, Kitty, you know, Kitty?" Angela asked.

"Yeah, kind of. She's one of the chosen right?" Angemon replied.

"Yeah, she fell into a trap and almost died." Angela replied.

"A trap? Set by who?" Angemon asked.

"The humans, it was an accident." Angela replied.

"The humans made traps?" Angemon said.

"Yeah, they're pretty intelligent actually." Angela replied.

"Did they work?" Angemon asked.

"Yeah, they claimed quite a few mammothmon and tankmon. It made that particular battle a lot easier than it could have been." Angela replied.

"Maybe Ophanimon was right to choose them then. Those interlopers."

"I thought she brought them in here." Angela replied.

"No, Ophanimon might have said that to keep everyone calm, but the truth is, they found their own way in, either intentionally or perhaps by mistake. I don't think we ever found out before Darkdramon found Skyland." Angemon replied.

"Then they weren't chosen?" Angela asked.

"No, she chose them, after they went and took down duskmon without any digimon she thought she could save her energy and give them a shot. Then as we've all seen they showed up at that hotel as planned, some naughty things happened and Kitty ended up partnering with Cj." Angemon replied.

"Yeah, some naughty things." Angela blushed.

"Don't tell me you've done it with them." Angemon said.

"Ophanimon doesn't have to know." Angela replied.

"You've defiled your holiness. And now you're asking me to defile mine by keeping it a secret?" Angemon said.

"You want to find out what it's like? It's worth it!" Angela replied as she teasingly rubbed his crotch.

"Hands off." Angemon replied.

"Awe I was nervous about it at first too, but you'll get over it." Angela replied before backing away from him.

"No, because we're not doing it." Angemon said.

"Ok fine then, I was just trying to show you how good it feels." Angela replied.

"Maybe just one time." Angemon finally relented, the curiosity too much for him to resist.

"Ok well let's go inside first." Angela replied before taking his hand and leading him towards her house.

"So where's Violet and Lillymon?" Angemon asked.

"They went out on a walk together, they're working through some things." Angela said as she led him by the hand.

"So she's a dark digimon, that is seeking redemption?" Angemon asked.

"More like she's a normal digimon with memories of the darkzone, part of her never belonged there in the first place." Angela said.

"She's been corrupted?" Angemon asked.

"Yeah, exactly, you know how it happens." Angela said.

"Yeah, and I know of the destruction corrupted digimon tend to reek." Angemon said.

"Well she has been traveling with the humans longer than I have, and they don't seem to mind her. And I haven't seen her do anything destructive at all." Angela said as they arrived at her house.

"Now, how do we get you undressed?" She asked after leading him inside.

"I don't know, never needed too before." Angemon replied.

"Let's see." She said as she got down on her knees.

"We undo this maybe, and then pull this down and there we go." She said as she uncovered his penis.

"That's what that looks like?" Angemon asked as he somehow had literally never seen himself naked before.

"Yeah." Angela replied, understanding his confusion as she started to stroke him with her hand.

"Fuck, what was it? Probably around 55 years ago or so, fuck it was a long time ago, I was still with Ronnie then. We were carrying, 15 containers, of black cargo, bound for a set of coordinates around a completely uninhabited planet in the middle of bumfuck nowhere where we would eventually find another ship waiting to take it off our hands to cart it off to fuck knows where. We weren't even allowed to know what the hell was inside those things, but whatever it was, pirates wanted it, bad. To the point where a pair of scout ships started following us as soon as we were out of radio range of the station, those fuckers had to know what we had. They followed us for a while as the turret crews kept trained on them, they wouldn't establish radio contact despite multiple attempts, but they didn't seem to have any weapons so we weren't authorized to fire on them. Since they weren't armed and actively posing a threat, there wasn't anything we could do about them. Then a pair of frigates jumped in in front of us.

"Frigates?" Phoebe asked.

"It's like a multi-purpose ship, it's bigger than a corvette, it can carry people, cargo, it's got some weapons but not nearly as much as a battle ship or destroyer and usually can't stand up to them, though some are specialized to function as missile boats, mine layers, and a lot of other niche rolls. The Apocalla was technically a frigate actually, built to carry strategically important cargo through potentially hostile space. But these we were we up against were pirate frigates, obsolete, stolen, or possibly hacked together from hulks that were probably meant to be scrapped, haphazzardly repaired fuck knows how many times, maintenance is neglected because they usually can't afford to keep them properly maintained. We could barely recognize them as an obsolete Zelusian class that at that point was thought to had been retired two whole decades ago. They're scary primarily because you don't know what condition their reactor is in and everyone on board is more afraid of the whole thing suddenly exploding than whatever it has for weapons and there were several reports of larger pirate ships suddenly exploding due to having reactors that really shouldn't be in use anymore due to metal fatigue and hairline cracks and various other issues. But pirates typically don't care about stuff like that, if they can get inside it, and it can still fly, they'll use it up until the reactor starts to go up and they frantically run for the escape pods. That said, they were not interested in fighting they were interested in boarding. Their scout ships jumped out because there wasn't anything they could do at that point, and the frigates opened fire with a handful of autocannons and plasmatic gattlings, not enough to get through the shields." One finally tried to communicate, only to demand we hand over all personal and cargo on board. At that point everyone in the cargo bay was gearing up to fight, Kitty included. We returned fire as well, focusing on the nearest one as they both attempted to board us, one portside, the other starboard. The one on the portside jumped out right before it shields were almost completely depleted.

"Why didn't you just jump out?" Phoebe asked.

"Because they would've followed us and we were too far away from anything else to get any help, and leading them straight to what is probably a top secret facility or experimental ship is not a good idea either. And they couldn't of destroyed us as they didn't have enough firepower to keep reducing our shields. Their main guns were already crippled, because they can't afford to fix them." I replied.

"Oh, ok." Phoebe replied.

"Anyway by the time we forced one of them to retreat the other was already launching its boarding pods. A few hundred enemy combatants made it on board, and fuck I wish I could show you the camera feed, it looked like it was going to be a drawn out fire fight but then Kitty just started cutting them down. We probably could've have taken them down without her, but thanks to her we only lost 3 men that day. Eventually the pirates had the sense to surrender and I think we stuffed 33 of them in to the brig, where they were kept for a few weeks as we still had to make the delivery. And the ship we were delivering to would not take them. Anyway the other frigate stayed as long as it could, long after it's shields were depleted but we had it beat in terms of firepower and it eventually took some pretty heavy damage from our guns and it had to bail as well before we completely destroyed it. "

"So what happened to the prisoners?" Phoebe asked.

" We followed protocol, as soon as we got back within com range we started informing command about what had happened, gave a full damage and casualty report, along with other protocol things, and as is usual we were immediately ordered to stop at a shipyard for repairs, once there they were handed over to the proper authorities, a full scale investigation was launched they gathered all the evidence, all the damage, camera footage, everything they could think of, and after a series of trials and everything they eventually ended up in a bigger jail and while the ship was being repaired, the families of the three that died in the attack were informed, funeral arrangements were made. A lot of the crew treated it like a vacation. I would've attended those funerals, but they were so spread out it was impossible to attend all three of them, so I couldn't attend any of them without showing favor, which as captain, is not a good move. Anyway, the higher ups eventually saw the footage and decided Kitty had earned a medal, I had to coach her through the ceremony and everything, and I don't even know what she did with it. Maybe it's buried in that bag of rings she has on the bus, I'm not sure." I said.

"She had one at one point, I don't know if she still has it. She might have lost it. And Zari it's not really that surprising, she fights like hell, and plasma rifle shots that would serious maim if not immediately kill a normal soldier are just minor injuries to her and she used that to protect the others. Eventually the fun came to an end and we had to actually get some sleep, all huddled together on that modestly sized bed.

The next morning came and went and soon we were traveling again, off the staircase and onto some rocky, snow-covered ground that was too rough for most vehicles to drive on, including our own. Progress slowed a bit as even just walking, the path of least resistance was a bit difficult to find, as well as trying to maintain a heading. We were ahead of the army with the newbies even further ahead trying to spot our vehicles from the air, while the goddesses, or mostly just Mervamon, decided that wasn't important and stayed with the army instead. This also meant that the newbies were able to use all six of the mechanorimon, so all four of them were in the sky today. I was with Kitty and Phoebe and Zari went off with Saphy and the flower girls. Henry, Claire and Ninjamon were somewhere to our west, IceLeomon and his wives to our east and getting somewhat ahead of everyone else, probably because they weren't freezing their asses off and Kazemon was still following the angels around, as per Mervamon's orders. They themselves were sort of following Henry and Claire, but lagging behind.

"Hello again everybody, it's freezing cold outside and we're all heading back to our vehicles after beating deusmon. We're passing back through this really rocky area again, Kitty has managed to trip and fall on her face 3 times so far since we started our journey today, making it a total of 14 times since we left the bus behind." Phoebe said as she went back to documenting our travels to pass a bit of time.

"You're keeping track?" I asked.

"Mhm." She replied.

"Owe." Kitty said after she took a bad step and tripped over herself. The snow was soft, and while some rocks poked above the surface, it was hard to judge were the rocks were going to be along with what size and shape and even how stable they would be underneath it. Caution was necessary to not trip, and caution, was something Kitty did not have a whole lot of.

"Kitty Kat?" I yelled out behind me.

"I smacked my head on a rock." She cried back.

"Again? Make that four and fifteen times." Phoebe said.

"Geez a fucking 3 percent health loss just from that? Dam, you did smack it hard. Kitty you gotta be more careful. You've lost a whole five percent just from falling today, and we've still got a ways to go babe." I said as I looked at the digivice.

"How many did I lose on the way up?" She asked.

"Like 7, and you just lost 3 right there. So, you're already set to beat your record, atleast for the most part you've been catching yourself." I replied.

"Cj, Charley is going to see this, watch your language." Phoebe said as I helped Kitty get back up.

"He's going to learn it eventually you know that right?" I said.

"Cj." She sternly scolded me with a look of seriousness I hadn't seen in a long time.

"Whatever, Kitty kat, you ok? You have a headache or anything? You don't seem to be bleeding." I asked.

"I'm fine just help me up. I hate this place." She said as she put her arm around my shoulder.

- a little while later, once Kitty was confident enough to walk on her own again.-

At this point, Phoebe ran out of things to record by then and no longer had her camera out.

"Ok, I think I can take it from here." Kitty said as she gently pulled away from me.

"Why don't you walk in front of us so if you do fall again we have a chance at catching you?" I asked.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"Yeah so you can look at her big fluffy butt." Phoebe teased me telepathically.

"Really? We're freezing our asses off and you're still going to tease me?" I asked.

"I'm your wife, it's my responsibility." She replied.

Kitty fell three more times but atleast she didn't take any further damage. As we got further away from the mountain the rocks gradually got a bit smaller and easier to walk on so it was also a bit safer for her.

"Yeah, but we gotta keep going, we gotta get there by nightfall." I said.

"As soon as I see the bus I am taking your hand and we are teleporting over there and we're going to turn it on and put the heat on full blast." Phoebe replied.

"Just don't bleed out of your ears again." I said.

"That's not possible from just teleporting." She said.

"It still tires you out if you go too far." I replied.

"I would lose the ability to concentrate enough to teleport before it would become dangerous to me." She explained.

"I know, but I love you and I wanna be sure you're not taking any unnecessary risks." I said.

"I'm not, we'll just get back to the bus and into the heat sooner that way." She replied.

"Ok then." I said.

"And then you can snuggle with me on the bed while we wait for the others to show up." She said.

"Or we could go pick them up." I said.

"We can't risk getting it stuck that's why we left it there to begin with." She replied.

" We'll see where they are when we get there." I said.

"We might not even be the first ones there." I said.

"Someone might find it first." I said.

"The newbies will probably since they're up there, then they'll tell everyone where it is." Phoebe replied.

"That's kind of the plan yeah, have them spot it and guide everyone else to it." I replied.

"But they won't get on the bus." Phoebe said.

We weren't sure on the exact direction it was in when we left the staircase and now that there were several rocks around us that were taller than we were, we were even less sure.

"So we could still be the first ones on." She said.

"Ok, I guess I could try." Kitty said.

"She was your lieutenant?" Phoebe asked me telepathically.

"First Zari now you huh? Well there wasn't any snow on the ship and you remember what I told you yesterday?" I said.

" Yeah I know about that but you expected her to be capable of executive level decisions?" Phoebe said to me telepathically.

"No, I never put anyone in her charge, that said, compared to what we were usually up against she was a one eh man, woman … catgirl? army anyway? I had two other lieutenants you know? I picked them the right way. They ended up marrying each other, wish you could've met them." I thought in response.

"Where is our bus? Let's just get out of here already. Can't you teleport us further ahead?" Kitty turned around to ask Phoebe.

"I could, but we still wouldn't make it to the bus and then I would be tired and we'd have to stop and rest and then we'd be out here that much longer and if I teleport that far, too many times, I might black out. And that's if we're even heading the right way, more than likely we'd end up somewhere passed it. and if we end up by some large rocks it could be hard to tell." Phoebe said.

" There's not many over there though." I said.

"True, but there could be some, we didn't really explore it that thoroughly." Phoebe said.

"True." I replied.

"Also you can black out from teleporting? I thought you just lost the ability to concentrate" I pointed out.

"Well…I get really tired and need to rest and yes I can't concentrate when like that. I'm not going to start bleeding from my ears again it won't get to that point. If I can see the bus Cj, I should be able to get to it so don't worry about it." Phoebe said.

"nnng, I hate this place. I hated walking through it the first time and I hate it now." Kitty complained.

"Oh Kitty Kat, think about it this way, even if everything goes wrong and we're somehow stuck in this world for eternity, we'll never have to come up here again." I said.

Saphy was using her powers to turn the snow into slush, making it all that more stable, and easier for her, Celly, the flower girls, and Zari to walk on, because of this they were out in front of everyone else on the ground.

"Why didn't you do this on the way up?" Zari asked.

"I don't know, I didn't think of it." Saphy replied.

"How much longer do we have to be out here? It's really cold." Lillymon asked.

"Yeah, and you don't have a coat.." Violet agreed.

"We need to get you a coat." Zari said.

"There may have been some shops back up there." Saphy said.

"Oh yeah, fuck we should've thought of that." Zari said.

"Now you tell me." Lillymon said.

"We should get back to the bus by tonight, hopefully then you can warm up." Zari said.

"By tonight? That's so far away." Lillymon replied.

"Well we don't have a better option at this point." Zari said.

"Here, take my coat. You look miserable." Saphy said.

"You sure about that?" Zari asked.

"I can do way better in the cold than she can." Saphy said as she helped lillymon into her coat.

"Thankyou." Lillymon said.

"I want it back once you get your own." Saphy said.

"Sure thing." Lillymon replied, grateful to have some relief from the cold.

"Lillymon you can fly right?" Zari asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Would you mind popping up there every few minutes or so the see if you can spot any of the others?" Zari asked.

"Sure." Lillymon replied.

"Great, that would help a lot, actually." Zari replied.

-meanwhile-

Ninjamon was short enough that if he accidently stepped into a hole, he could disappear in the snow entirely, much to Henry and Claire's amusement, though this didn't happen very often as he was more cautious than Kitty. Instead, sometimes he'd run off ahead and find somewhere he could hide on purpose, so he could jump out and surprise them. This was funny the first few times but by now it had gotten old.

"So you've never seen star wars?" Henry asked.

"I'm not even sure if it existed on my world, so no." Claire replied.

"Do you know what a vcr is?" Henry asked.

"I think my Grandma had one, but it broke when I was like 8 and she never got another one." Clarie replied.

"Ok, so you used to teach history right?" Henry asked.

"What about it?" Claire asked.

-"Who killed Bill Dervan?" Henry asked.

"Who's Bill Dervan?" Claire asked.

"The president, around 1960. He was assassinated, it was all over the tv. My grandparents wouldn't stop talking about it. It was a national tragedy." Henry replied.

"Yeah, ok well, in my world that never happened. That name seems familiar but, if I remember right he was a president, but he served his terms out normally and died of natural causes long after his terms ended. We had this other president in the 80s though, Tom Timmons, he was shot in his limo, like his entire cavalcade was attacked and a lot of people thought he was kind of crook, to elicit such violence and after he passed a lot of the rumors surrounding him turned out to be true, he was taking money from a lot of people he really shouldn't have, and well, the whole country just kind of moved on. " Claire replied.

"Atleast your world has an 80s." Henry said.

"Yeah, it's all luck of the draw I guess." Claire replied.

"Ok, well um, what about the Woodstock riots? " Henry replied.

"The what?" Claire asked.

"In 1970 the police tried to shutdown Woodstock because of excessive drug use, it backfired horribly resulting in the Woodstock riots. "

"Yeah, I don't know anything about that. " Claire said.

"Ok, what about movies?" Henry asked.

"What about them? Wait, is Ninjamon still following us?" Claire asked.

"I don't know let's see." Henry said as they both turned to search the area behind them.

"Whats up?" Ninjamon asked.

"Just making sure you're still there and not about to run off and hide in the snow again." Henry replied.

"Nah, that's gotten old hasn't it?" Ninjamon asked.

"Yeah, you get it, good." Henry replied.

"Have you tried talking to Kazemon? I think she's just a little ways behind us if you want to try to chat her up." Claire asked.

"But what would Saphy think?" He asked.

"You realize you and her are not a thing?" Claire asked.

"I know, but, maybe someday." Ninjamon said.

"You have a lot of growing up to do before that ever happens." Claire replied.

"And that's if Phoebe and Cj don't suddenly decide they want her again." Henry said.

"Oh I'm sure they still play around with her though." Claire said.

"Yeah, probably, only so much to do on that bus." Henry said.

"Huh?" Ninjamon asked.

"Nevermind it, I'm sure you'll find somebody someday, but as for Saphy, don't get your hopes up." Claire said.

"nnn, I guess I will try to go talk to Kazemon then." Ninjamon said.

"Great, see you in a bit." Claire replied.

Both of them were happy to have some time alone together.

"I can't believe we got rid of him that easily." Claire said once he was pretty far away.

"I kind of feel sorry for him." Henry said.

"You think maybe there's females of his species?" Claire asked.

"I'd assume so, I don't really want to picture it. It'd be like Mr. and Mrs. Pacman." Henry said.

"Your world has pacman?" Claire asked.

"Little round yellow guy, eats dots." Henry said.

"Yeah." Claire agreed.

They were both making their rounds before silverwind happened." Henry said.

"Well atleast you got that." Claire said.

"I've only played it a few times, but yeah, it was pretty cool." Henry replied.

"Come on, get moving, I want to get out of this place by tomorrow!" Mervamon commanded bachusmon's army, who were traveling in a loose formation a mile or so behind the rest of us.

"Is this really necessary? I think they get the point." Dianamon said.

"Of course it is, if we don't keep them in line some could wander off and get lost, or ambushed, or who even knows?" Mervamon said.

"But there's no enemy forces in the area." Dianamon said.

"We don't know that for sure. What about that Volkheim guy the humans mentioned?" Mervamon said.

"I'm going to go talk to venusmon." Dianamon replied.

"Where is she?" Mervamon said.

"I think she went with those human girls, you know the ones that borrowed our mechanorimon?" Dianamon said.

"So they're way ahead of us then? And what's she doing there she's supposed to be here." Mervamon asked.

"She said you could probably handle these guys on your own. I think I can still catch up to them." Dianamon replied.

"Well, that's true, but she could've said something to me before taking off like that." Mervamon said.

We were at the point where we were so bored we were singing.

"We're running with the shadows of the night." Phoebe began.

"But we've sung it like 20 times already." She replied.

"Ok let me think for a bit." I said.

"What about that one song that plays during the credits of The Mt. Moon Mystery?" She asked.

"I know I've seen it a thousand times but I don't remember it completely." I said.

"This made my dad my son in law and really changed my life, for my daughter was my mother for she was my father's wife. To complicate the matter even though it brought me joy, I soon became the father of a bouncing baby boy. My little baby then became a brother in law to dad, and so became my uncle though it made me rather sad. For if he was my uncle then that also made him brother to the widow's grown up daughter who of course, was my stepmother. " I said.

"Father's wife then had a son who kept them on the run, and he became my grandchild, for he was my daughter's son. My wife is now my mother's mother, which really makes me blue, for even though she is my wife, she's my grandmother too!" I said.

"OK ready for the end?" I asked.

"Sure." Phoebe replied.

"Because in this weird family situation, as husband, of my grandmother, I am my own grandpa." I said.

"I still don't get it." Kitty said.

"Ok next song." Phoebe said.

"Ummmm." Kitty said, completely unsure.

'Yeah, a few." She timidly replied.

Singing helped pass the time.

It was close to sunset when the newbies spotted the bus. They located everyone else and gave the signal, a few hard to miss laser beams targeting the ground. And we started to follow them, until Phoebe could see the bus for herself and as she said she wasted little time grabbing both me and Kitty and teleporting us over to it, before quickly retreating to the bed to recuperate.

"Great, it looks exactly as we left it." I said.

"Ok that was a bit far, but we made it." Phoebe said between breathes as she flopped onto the bed, not even bothering with her coat or boots. Then again at the moment it was as cold on board as it was outside.

"I told you to take it easy." I said as I started the bus up to get some heat going, relieved that the battery still had charge and the water which is heated by said battery, hadn't frozen in the tank.

"Yeah well, now we have plenty of time to mess around before the others get here." She replied.

"That's why you exhausted yourself?" I asked.

"Well why not? Once it warms up anyway." Phoebe replied.

"She's a mess now." Kitty laughed.

"Hehe, yeah, kind of.." I agreed.

"Aren't you going to come back here and snuggle?" She asked.

"Yeah, just let me take a quick look around for the others." I said as I did so.

"Kitty wait for him so he can snuggle with both of us." Phoebe said as Kitty started to head back there.

"Ok." She replied.

Eventually I joined her on the bed and we snuggled together even after the others eventually arrived. The army set up camp a bit further away so they could do so before it got dark, so the goddesses were absent for the night. As many people slept on the bus as could fit, including Zari's group and the angels so we didn't get up to much that night. I just kept snuggling with my ladies.
