-chapter 83-

Eventually the next morning arrived, I woke up snuggling with Phoebe as Kitty eventually pulled away as usual, and we waited a few hours for the army to catch up before we finally left. It was going to be a bumpy ride for the next few miles, too bumpy to even play cards, much less anything else. Watching everyone react to the bumps was sort of amusing in itself. We were going to head back to Bachusmon's and then Angemon would guide us towards wherever Ophanimon was hiding, but right now he was riding with us along with Selenia who swapped places with Chally. Zari was driving, Selly was sitting at the table with the flower girls and Kazemon, Saphy was sitting on one of the middle benches, and the two angel digimon were sitting up front.

"So what are we going to do when we get there?" Phoebe asked.

"No idea, just party in general." I said.

"Maybe I'll just take you two out on a date how's that sound?" I asked.

"I love it." She replied.

"Me too." Kitty agreed.

"Great, and that way hopefully we won't overdo it like last time." I said.

"Yeah, that was too much, but I think the newbies could use some attention, and Lillymon, once we get out of these bumpy rocks." Phoebe replied.

"Well before that we need to find an excuse to get angemon off the bus." I said.

"Oh, he'll be fine he's got angewomon to play with." Phoebe said.

"Ehh, I'm just content on snuggling with you and Kitty." I replied.

"What are you afraid the others will like him more than you?" Phoebe replied.

"You want to risk ruining what we have here because you can't be patient?" I asked.

"Let's say he is better than me and they find that out, well good luck getting them to keep playing with us. I know I'll always have you and Kitty, but, " I explained.

"Oh, ok, but maybe we can work something out tonight?" She said.

"Yeah, we'll see where we end up." I said.

Eventually we were off of the rocks and back onto smooth ground.

"It's not bumpy anymore." She said.

"So?" I asked.

"What if they start having sex?" Phoebe asked.

"Then we'll start playing around I guess, since you can't control yourself." I said.

"Ok." She said.

"What are you going to try to talk them into it?" I asked.

"No, I just wanted to know if you expected me just to sit here and watch them." She said.

"Hey Phoebe it's not bumpy anymore." Saphy said.

"I noticed." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah Lussy and Challey kept talking about your antics on here but so far it's been pretty boring." Selly said.

"They're right." Violet chimed in.

"Mhm." Kazemon agreed.

"Huh?" Lillymon seemed confused.

"Remember what we did two nights ago?" Violet asked.

"Yeah." Lillymon replied.

"Wait what?" Phoebe asked.

"Nothing we just made some love." Violet replied.

"You mean YOU GOT TO LILLYMON BEFORE ME?" Phoebe asked, completely surprised.

"Really?" I asked.

"It's just I didn't, I didn't see it coming." Phoebe replied.

"Awe Pheebles, not everything always goes according to your weird little plans." I said as I snuggled her affectionately.

"We have to fix this immediately." Phoebe said.

"No we do not." I replied.

"I saw the angels making love too, don't tell them though they don't need to know that we know." Kazemon chimed somewhat quietly so they wouldn't hear.

"So much love." Violet replied.

"Lillymon get over here." Phoebe said.

'Pheebles, calm down." I said.

"No, this is important." She replied.

"No it's not." I replied.

"Yeah don't come here." Kitty said.

"Ok, fine, but can we do something tonight atleast?" Phoebe asked.

"We'll see where we end up." I replied.

"Ok." Phoebe relented.

"Hey Kitty Kat, before I forget, why don't you try to find your old medal?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, um, let's see." Kitty replied as she to look through the cargo rack for her admittedly comically large bag of mostly rings and a few bracelets and necklaces, now joined by a second filled with her latest acquisitions from the tower.

"Don't dump it on the floor." I said before she had a chance to think to do so, twenty years with her I was well into the habit of catching her before she could do stuff like that without really thinking.

"Well I have to dump it out somewhere or I'll never find it." She replied.

"Well, just wait till we have another room then and you can dump it out on the bed." I said.

"Ok then." She replied before she laid back down next to me.

Eventually we arrived at the village that we had fortified several days ago, still empty, but it was a decent spot to stay for the night. Phoebe was kind of pent up at this point so I knew I was in for it.

"So what are we doing tonight Pheebles?" I asked after we retired for the night to the same house we stayed in and fortified the first time we stayed.

"I need a few minutes to try to find this thing." Kitty said as she brought her bag of rings in with her.

"Um, well first I kind of want to see this." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"How in the world did you get so many rings?" Phoebe asked as Kitty dumped her whole bag out on the bed.

"She just kind of collected them over the past 100 years or so." I said.

"Did you buy all of them for her?" Phoebe asked.

"Eh….. some of them." I replied as I helped Kitty sift through her collection, thankfully since the lanyard was still attached it wasn't too hard to find now that it wasn't burried in the bag.

"I think this is it right?" Kitty asked as she held it up.

"Yep, allright set that off to the side somewhere, let's get all this stuff put back in the bag." I replied.

"Is this real?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't remember." I said.

"Me neither." Kitty replied.

"Really?" Phoebe asked.

"I just think it looks pretty." Kitty replied.

"A few of them are real. Some are real gold, some are real gold-plated, some are glass, and some are real. A few are silver. She's got a bit of everything." I said as I helped her clean it all back up.

After that was done we set the bag on the floor for the night, not feeling like making a run through the cold to set it back on the bus at that moment.

"Ok now that that's done what are we going to do tonight?" I said as we all sat on the bed together.

"Can I be with you?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah he's been keeping us waiting all day hasn't he?" Phoebe asked.

"Mhmmmmm." Kitty agreed.

"You think you can handle me and Kitty tonight?" She asked.

"Sure." I replied as Kitty giggled.

"Go on Kitty he's all yours for a while." She said.

"Yay." Kitty said as she came up and hugged me.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"I asked Violet to bring Lillymon over tonight and she agreed." Phoebe explained.

"Really?" I asked as Kitty kept huggling me.

" I'll play with them first then you can play with them, then we'll play together, if you can handle it. Also you and Kitty can be alone for a little bit." She said.

"Yeahhh." Kitty agreed.

"But we're taking it easy at Bachusmon's?" I asked.

"Yeah, then you just have to worry about me and Kitty." She said.

"And I still get to wake up next to you?" I asked.

"Always." She replied.

"Ok then, come on Kitty kat." I said as I laid down on the bed.

"Thank you so much sister." She replied.

"Uh huh." Phoebe said as she left the room to wait for the flower girls.

"So this is what I get for making her wait all day." I said as Kitty got on top of me.

"Mhm." Kitty replied.

"It's not that bad." I said.

"It should be good, I know you love me." She said.

"It is." I said as I held her close.

"She is my one true love, but you're a very close second." I said.

"What about Ronnie?" Kitty asked.

"I loved her too, but you know she's not coming back." I said.

"I told her the same thing I told you Kitty Kat, that if it came between her or Pheebles, it's Pheebles every time and somehow you were both cool with that." I said.

"Cause I still get times like this." She said.

"Yeah, and I still cherish them. Come on, we gotta try to get in the mood." I said.

"Yeah, what form do you want this time?" She asked.

"Well you were in this one last time, so why not switch it up?" I asked.

"Ok." She replied before getting up and digivolving.

"I was going to say let's undress you first since it's easier in that form, but ok." I said as she set her weapon on the ground as she wouldn't need it for what we were about to do.

"Oh well, you're mine until those silly flower girls show up." She said as she got on top of me again and hugged me again, pressing her now much larger breasts against me.

It felt great, but looking back there really wasn't much about it that was worth mentioning, just another good time with her among many, many others at this point. When it was over we snuggled and talked a bit, unsure when the flower girls would come marching in, if they were even here yet, the house was oddly quiet. Phoebe doesn't make much noise moving around but she can be pretty loud in bed.

"I could lay with you and Pheebles forever." I said after regaining my composure after we finished.

"Am I enough for now?" She asked.

"Of course you are baby, I cherish the times we're alone together too, same with Pheebles. Those times are just as important. Times we can focus on us without her silliness." I said.

"And there's never going to be a third girl?" Kitty asked.

"I doubt it." I said.

"No Zari?" She asked.

"Well, I hope the thing with Zari really is just a crush, and it will go away. I mean, I may be closer to her than most of the group we have with us now but we haven't been together anywhere near as long as I was with you or Pheebles." I said.

"But how does she feel?" Kitty asked.

"You know, that's actually a good question." I said.

"And we've been together longer than you've been with anyone aside from Ronnie." She pointed out.

"I know that." I said.

"But I'm the virara." She said.

"Because Pheebles and I have kids that we need to get back to, besides we've been down this road before, you told me you didn't want to be my wife because then you might have to actually do something." I replied.

"Well, if there's anyone I want to be my husband, it's you." She said.

"And how do you feel about Pheebles?" I asked.

"She's allright, I think, we're friends right? What does she say about me?" She asked.

"I don't remember her saying anything bad about you other than the obvious." I replied.

"What's the obvious?" She asked.

"You know how you can be sometimes." I said.

"Yeah, ok, fair." She replied.

"Look babe, she can be a bit hard to predict at times, but I think it's pretty safe to say if she didn't like you she would never had suggested this whole virara thing and forced me to be with her and her alone." I said.

"But then there's the whole fluffy butt thing." She said.

"If she teases you like that she likes you, have you payed attention to what she does to me on a constant basis?" I asked.

"Hmmm, maybe you're right." She replied shortly before Phoebe opened the door and came in.

"They never showed up, they said they would come over." She said.

"Well, I don't know, maybe they're just late?" I suggested.

"Maybe. If they're not here when you're ready for the next round then we'll just continue without them." She said.

"Were you just waiting outside the room this whole time while we were ….." I said.

"No, I laid on the bed alone for a while and wow Kitty, you can be louder than me." She replied.

"I was trying to make you jealous." Kitty replied.

"I knew you were playing it up a bit." I said with a sigh.

"Kitty don't be silly that's not possible, I know Cj is mine, doing that, you're just embarrassing yourself." Phoebe replied.

"It's still fun though." Kitty said.

"So I just get one other round with you then?" I asked.

"Mhm." Phoebe replied.

"Did you tell them not to come?" She asked.

"No, I didn't even know you told them to come until you told me. Which you know you went out of your way to hide from me because I would've tried to talk you out of it otherwise." I said.

"Yeah, kind of. Watchu going to do about it?" She playfully admitted.

"I don't what should we do Kitty Kat?" I asked.

"Make her sleep outside in the cold?" Kitty suggested.

"If they don't show up, can we get them back at bachusmon's?" Phoebe asked.

"Well maybe on the…bus then?" She asked, looking up at me nervously as I cautiously approached her.

"Well I guess I still gotta hold you accountable, even though it didn't work at all apparently." I said.

"They could still show up." She replied.

"Yeah, very true. Soooooooooooooo." I said trying to draw up the tension.

"Ima tickle you." I said as I went to work as quickly as I could making her giggle adorably until she begged me to stop and I decided to relent, I wasn't really that mad at her after all, we were just playing around, then she turned and kissed me and we stood there for a moment in bliss.

"I love you." She replied.

"You ready yet?" She asked.

"I wish." I replied.

" Well then lay down because we'll have to make you ready." She said.

I laid back down on the bed next to Kitty as my beloved stripped naked.

"If they're not going to come tonight atleast I can always have you." She said as she seductively crawled onto me.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

We started making out, and that was when, of all times, Violet and Lillymon walked in.

"Are we that late?" Violet asked.

"Yeah, we're just starting round two where were you?" Phoebe asked as I kept making out with Kitty.

"Lillymon needed more convincing then I thought and we accidently went to the wrong house first." Violet explained.

"Whose house?" Phoebe asked.

"Henry and Claire's." Violet replied.

"Greeeeaaaat now they know something is up." Phoebe said.

"Sorry." Violet replied.

"Pheebles are you just going to be grumpy now? Do I need to tickle you again?" I asked, pulling away from Kitty, realizing this was going to go on a bit longer than I thought.

"No I uh….I'm not sure what to do now." She said.

"Kick'em out!" Kitty chimed.

"No, they came like they said they would." Phoebe replied.

"Cj, you go with them first I'll stay here with Kitty." She said after a few awkward seconds of silence.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, it's only fair." She said.

"How about we do this on another night and just go back to what we were doing?" I asked.

"You want me that bad?" She asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"I guess they could wait in the other room for us." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Or we could do this in the morning." She said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Or not at all." Kitty said.

"You don't want to play with Lillymon?" Phoebe asked.

"Not really." Kitty said.

"Well, I've been waiting for this for a long time." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles we don't have to sleep with every woman we come across." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"Stop treating it like it's so important." I said.

"Go sleep in the other room we'll see you in the morning." Phoebe said to them.

"Ok goodnight then, enjoy whatever this is." Violet said.

"I'll try." Phoebe said.

"Cj are you ready yet?" She asked, groping my junk after they left the room.

"Eh you're all sticky." She said.

"I wonder why." I replied as I rolled my eyes.

"But you're right. I shouldn't be pushing for this so hard, but I just want to have some fun." She said.

"I know, you're always going to be you. You just need to know when you can let off. Because right now, I don't care how pretty those flower girls are I just want you. You're the only one I'm married to right now you goofball, unless you decide to give Kitty a shot." I said.

"Not right now. I thought she didn't want to be." Phoebe said.

"I don't." Kitty chimed in.

"Just stay our sweet virara for now." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, that's what I want." Kitty said.

"OK then let's try to get back to where we were then." Phoebe said.

"They kind of ruined the mood." I said.

"Yeah." Kitty agreed.

"Well then we'll have to get it back somehow." Phoebe said.

"How?" Kitty asked.

Eventually we made love, then we fell asleep and the next morning eventually came. Not much of interest actually happened that day but traveling is just like that sometimes.

The next morning started as many others with me waking up next to my baby girl with Kitty curled up on my other side.

She adorably cracked her eyes open a bit later and then proceeded to kiss me.

"Goodmorning." She whispered back.

"So who do you want first Violet or Lilly?" She asked as we continued to whisper back and forth while Kitty remained asleep.

"Or how about we get dressed real quick, go to the bus and I fuck you silly in the nice hot shower? We haven't done that in a while." I said.

"Hmmmmm." She said, seemingly tempted.

"You know we still have quite a long bus ride ahead after we leave bachusmon's. You'll get her eventually." I said.

"They might get mad if we bail on them though." She pointed out.

"We could always make it up to them." I said.

"Ok, let's hurry before either they or Kitty wakes up." She said.

"That's my girl." I replied, slightly proud of her.

"Let's go then." She said as she quietly climbed out of the bed and started to dress herself.

-about an hour or so later, in the bed, on the bus.-

"I'm glad I let you talk me into that." Phoebe said as we held each other close. It was still a bit cold inside the bus so we were holding each other pretty tight.

"We should probably head back soon, before Kitty wakes up and starts freaking out." I said.

"Probably." Phoebe replied.

"Do you think she'll be jealous?" Phoebe asked.

"I think she is a bit jealous of you, yeah, just not enough to do anything about it, you know she does let it slip on occasion." I said.

"Awwwe." Phoebe replied.

"Then again, she's also not as horny as you." I said.

"I don't know, she taught you that whole wrestling thing didn't she?" She replied.

"Yeah but she doesn't make such a big deal out of sex like you do. She likes it, but she doesn't push for it every single day nearly every single time I'm available." I said, teasingly.

"Pretty much, unless we got something else going on." I said.

"Well what else are we going to do then?" She asked.

"I don't know." I replied.

"That we need to get –insert new girl here- to sleep with us somehow?" I said.

"No, you silly silly goofball, I told you, I'll stop acting like this when we get home." She said with a laugh, kicking my legs a few times out of frustration.

"Ok well, let's get dressed and get back to the house I'm kind of concerned about how Kitty will interact with the flower girls if she wakes up and we're not there." I said.

"Yeah, ok, let's go then." She replied.

A couple minutes later, back at the house. –

"You want to tell the flower girls what's up? I'll get Kitty up." I said.

"Ok." She said before kissing me and heading to the other bedroom. I went into the one Kitty was still sleeping in, curled up in her lillithmon form.

"Kitty kat? You awake yet?" I softly asked as I approached her, pausing for a few seconds until I felt the lack of response was enough to assume she wasn't.

"Come on babe it's about time to get up." I said as I gently rubbed her shoulder.

She finally opened her eyes several seconds later.

"Hi." She said.

"Hey babe." I replied.

"You're already dressed." She said.

"Yep, you should get dressed to." I said.

"Do I get a kiss atleast?" She asked.

"Yeah, ok." I replied before kissing her on the cheek.

"Now come on Phoebe's talking to the flower girls alone so we should probably get over there." I said.

"Ok, just a second." She said before crawling out of bed and reverting to her persiamon form, which was also a convenient way for her to redress herself.

"Ok I'm up." She said as she wrapped herself around me.

"Mhm, good morning babe." I replied as I hugged her back.

"Allright come on let's get over there." I said.

"Right." She replied.

We started to head over to the other bedroom, but we ran into Phoebe in the living room.

"Don't go in there they're getting dressed. Hi Kitty." She said.

"Goodmorning." Kitty replied.

"Oookayy." I replied.

"It takes them that long to dressed?" Kitty asked.

"They can't change form like you can so yeah." Phoebe replied.

"They mad?" I asked.

"Not really, they seemed to have a nice night together." Phoebe replied.

"What would they be mad about?" Kitty asked.

"We had some fun in the shower this morning instead of with them." Phoebe replied.

"Oh." Kitty said.

"Somebody should've woken up earlier." Phoebe teased.

"I don't like showers." Kitty replied.

"I know, but we could've played around on the bed." Phoebe replied.

"What's the plan now Pheebles?" I asked.

"Same as usual, walk around, wait for everyone else to shower if they want and get ready to leave." She replied.

"We should probably get your stuff back on the bus before we forget about it." I said.

"Yeah, we can do that really quick." Phoebe agreed.

So we took care of that and proceeded to walk around and see what everyone else was up to until it was time to leave, everyone wanted to take advantage of the washer and dryer we setup the first time we were here, which still worked so that was running constantly. While that took a little extra time, we eventually piled onto the bus with freshly clean clothes.

"Ok Pheebles, why don't you drive? Zari, you're with Kitty and I in the back." I said.

"No!" Phoebe objected.

"We're not going to do anything." I replied.

"pfff, you're going to keep me sex-starved all day, again." She said.

"It's one day Pheebles, not even, quit being so dramatic, besides, it will make tonight more special." I said.

"Ok, fine." She replied.

Um, I'm supposed to be on the bus today." Kiera said.

"I take it you're here instead of Celly?" I asked.

"Ok, fine." I said.

Everyone that usually rode with us eventually got onboard and then we started to move.

-in the bed, in the back-

"So why am I back here then if we're not going to do anything?" Zari asked.

"Kitty has something to show you." I said.

"Oh yeah um, crap where is it?" Kitty asked.

"Um…it's still around your neck." I replied.

"Oh." She said.

"See babe she won this medal for saving a whole lot of people, back when we were in the U.S.C" I explained.

"That's … that's a boronium star." Zari said, mildly impressed.

"Yeah, so, her being my lieutenant isn't so questionable now is it?" I asked.

"That's impressive, but, I mean, with her powers, it doesn't really seem. " Zari tried to say.

"Oh come on, give her a bit of credit. It's not like she was the only one on that ship with superhuman abilities, You know it I know it, theirs several alien races out there that have those." I cut her off.

"I know, but." Zari interjected.

"And she feels it every time she gets shot." I said, cutting her off again.

"It still hurts really bad." Kitty chimed in.

"Yeah, see? I remember it clear as day she collapsed when it was over, and she had to be sedated and carried to the med bay she was in so much pain. She wouldn't stop wiggling around, worst I've seen her up until she fell into that pit trap a while ago." I said.

"Okaaaay you have a point." Zari said.

"She did good, killing guys I probably trained." Zari said a bit later.

"Actually they were pirates." I said.

"Oh, well still, you did good Kitty." Zari said.

"Are you like part of their thing now?" Kiera got the courage to ask.

"Not officially." Zari replied.

"We're just friends." I said.

"With benefits." Zari added.

"No, you're just friends." Kitty objected.

"Depends whatever Phoebe wants to do." I said.

"Why?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know, but she has more say than you." I replied.

"Why?" Kitty asked.

"Babe we've been over this before." I said.

"Will you drop it if I hold you?" I asked.

"Maybe." She replied.

"You know I love you babe, and if you don't like this arrangement, we can talk." I said.

"No, it's fine." She replied.

"Ok then." I said as I pulled her close.

"So is this is just going to be a long ride or?" Kiera asked.

"Yeah pretty much, it was the same yesterday too." Zari replied.

"Because of Angemon?" Kiera asked.

"Yep." Zari replied.

"You want to play cards?" Saphy asked.

"I guess, since there's nothing else to do." Kiera replied.

"I want in, sorry but laying here is painful, I feel like I need to be moving." Zari said as she got up and joined the others at the table.

"That's fine." I replied.

Violet and Lillymon were talking to Phoebe up front along with the two angel digimon.

Kitty eventually nodded off to sleep in my arms and I just stayed there and snuggled with her.

-some time in the early afternoon-

"Guys, we just went passed the invisibility field, I can see it, we're almost there." Phoebe said.

"Hey Kitty we're almost there." I said softly, gently trying to wake her up again.

"We are?" She asked tiredly.

"Yeah, so, don't go back to sleep on me." I said.

"I'll try not to." She replied.

I kissed her on the cheek then got up to head to the front of the bus to talk to my wife and stare out the window.

"Hey Pheebles."

"Cj." She replied.

"There it is again huh?" I asked.

"Mhm." She replied.

"Have you been being a good boy back there with Kitty?" She asked, playfully.

"It's not that big of a bus you know? I know we have curtains back there, but if we got up to anything you'd hear it atleast." I said.

"True." Phoebe replied.

"Besides she's been asleep most of the time." I said.

"Oh, that's not surprising." She replied.

"No, not really." I agreed.

"Are you ever going to let us play with you or not?" Violet asked.

"Yeah, we just need a few more days." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, we're going out on a date tonight." I said.

"It means we're just going to spend some time alone together, along with Kitty." Phoebe said. "And he's going to take us dancing, and we're going to try to find some real food."

"Sure." I replied.

"But then after we leave this place we'll see what happens." Phoebe said.

"Eh, we'll see." I said.

We made it up to west most platform, where we had to leave the bus behind. A lot of various digimon were waiting, seemingly for us. Once again, it was nice to see signs of life after seeing nothing but empty cities for several days. They cheered as we approached them, Kitty started waving at them, some tried to bombard us with questions and others tried to keep those particular ones at bay. It was strange, walking down the platform with all those eyes on us, cheerful as they were.

"Is deusmon destroyed?"

"Did greymon Fred survive?"

"What about Gururumon Ricky?"

"Leave them alone, they just got back, you'll find out in a bit."

Eventually we found a hotel and everyone in our core group got a room. The fanfare only got more intense when the army arrived several minutes later. Said army gradually dispersing as friends were reunited. This infuriated Mervamon, as she could not keep them in order, but Dianamon and Venusmon were able to keep her from acting out.

"Hello again everybody, we're at a hotel back at the terminal city. Look at this, there's so many digimon out there, all of them wanting to know about our fight with deusmon a few days ago. They pelted us with waves, smiles, and questions as we walked from the bus all the way over here. I think you can see the goddesses over there, Mervamon does not look happy, anyway, I think that does it for today's update." Phoebe said as we observed the scene from our hotel room window, as she recorded it on her camera.

"I think it should settle down in a few hours. Atleast I hope so." I replied.

"I hope so too, otherwise how are we supposed to go on our date? They'll keep trying to ask us questions." She said as she shut her camera off.

"I guess we're famous again." I said with a sigh.

"I guess so." She replied.

"You were famous?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, you get used to it after a while." I replied.

"Can I bring Saphy in here?" Phoebe asked.

"We're not doing anything if that's what you're thinking." I said.

"No, but, she is still technically my digimon and I just feel like we should be together right now." Phoebe said.

"Allright, that's fine." I replied.

"Thanks." She kissed me on the cheek before heading for the door.

"Don't get devoured by the hoard." I joked as she left.

"So, um, just smile and wave right?" Kitty asked.

"Eh, sometimes it's best not to draw any attention to yourself. We couldn't really avoid it this time though." I replied.

"I'm famous now too right?" She asked.

"They aren't out there just for me and Pheebles." I replied.

"Can I go talk to them?" She asked.

"That's probably not the best idea. " I said.

"But they have so many questions." Kitty said.

"Yeah, but, a lot of them are going to be the same questions and it would be best just to answer them all at once, like maybe over the PA system at Bachusmon's or something, and you know the army will talk, they will have answered a lot of them by the time we get there." I said.

"If you say so." She replied.

"Ohh Kitty." I said as I gave her a hug.

"What?" She asked.

"You want to sneak a kiss while Phoebe isn't here?" I asked.

"What if she gets mad and yells?" She replied as we pulled eachother close.

"She won't get that mad over a kiss." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"Love you babe." I said after we kissed.

"Love you." She replied.

"And what's going on here?" Phoebe asked as she came back with Saphy in tow as if on cue.

"She caught us." Kitty said.

"Not that surprising." I replied.

"It's just a kiss Pheebles. You want one or are you going to get all huffy about permissions?" I replied.

"I'll just take one too." She playfully replied with a smile.

"There we go, come here baby girl." I said before pulling her into a kiss.

"Why'd you bring me in here?" Saphy asked, already suspicious and somewhat annoyed.

"I just wanted to see if you wanted to watch the crowd with us. Come over to the window, look at all this." Phoebe replied as she pulled her over there.

"Yeah, there's a lot of digimon out there." Saphy said.

"And despite everything that has gone horribly wrong with our travels, we saved them all." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." Saphy agreed.

"You know what that means?" She asked.

"That the universe isn't doomed?" Saphy asked.

"It means you're a heroin Saphy, we all are." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." Kitty enthusiastically agreed.

"And what does that mean for us?" Saphy asked.

"You should feel good about it." Phoebe said.

"I do, but, there's still a really long way to go for this world to recover." Saphy said.

"Yeah, but that's the easy part." Phoebe replied.

"So is there a specific time you want to head to bachusmon's or?" I asked.

"I was thinking we could try to find some decent, non-cabbage or mushroom based lunch first, after this crowd clears up anyway." Phoebe replied.

"And Zari is here." She said a few seconds later, seconds before there was a knock at the door.

"Did you invite her without telling me again?" I asked.

"No, I don't know why she came over." Phoebe replied.

"Did you guys ever think about how we're going to handle this situation?" Zari asked after Phoebe answered the door.

"We'll probably try to set them all straight at Bachusmon's I guess, if we can get there without getting hounded." I replied.

"Yeah I was thinking we should find a way to do some sort of briefing." Zari replied.

"I need to get out and run I've been trapped in that bus for too long." She said a bit later with a sigh.

"Hopefully they'll clear up in an hour or so." I replied.

"Hopefully, then again there's other ways to exercise." She said with a wink.

"No, not today. He's my Cj today." Phoebe shot her down as she hugged me possessively.

"Ok fine, I was just offering." Zari replied.

"Well, it's a no. He's mine." Phoebe said as I affectionately hugged her back and Kitty decided to hug me as well.

"Kitty not that tight, come on." I said in a bit of pain.

"Sorry." She replied.

"Heheh, I guess he's Kitty's before he's yours even." Phoebe said as I got my arms around them both.

"Mhmm." Kitty agreed.

"I guess we'll just wait for it to settle down then." Zari said.

"Mhm." Phoebe agreed.

"I wonder what Henry and Claire are up to, they already left the hotel." Zari said.

"Probably getting hounded for autographs." I said.

"You think so? I just hope we don't end up getting famous on a world the space police are on or they could find us really quick." Zari asked.

"How would we even know?" I asked.

"You wouldn't until it's too late." Zari replied.

"Eh, but we got the digibabes now." I said, which sparked a side conversation.

"Yeah." Kitty agreed.

"And IceLeomon." Saphy pointed out.

"And Ninjamon." Kitty said.

"Ehh, well, I guess he is ok at throwing his shuriken things, not as good as Phoebe though." Saphy said.

"And his tiny round body probably makes a pretty good projectile itself." Phoebe joked.

"Wahh?" Kitty asked.

"If you can throw him maybe." Saphy said.

-Meanwhile-

"You realize they deal with monsters on a regular basis?" Zari asked.

"So?" I asked.

"They'd probably just immobilize her with a bubble gun." Zari said.

"Well then what are we going to do then?" I asked.

"Just hope it never happens." Zari replied.

"Well, then again, we escaped your world." I said.

"That might be a good point." Zari replied.

"Anyway I guess I'll go see what the newbies are up to." Zari said.

"Ok, see you later maybe." I said.

"Maybe." Zari replied.

"Don't count on it, you're ours for the evening." Phoebe said after she left.

"Well we might see her at Bachusmon's I don't know, we're going there eventually right?" I asked.

"True, but you're dancing with me and Kitty, not her." She said.

"I know, you are my wife after all." I said as I gave her another hug which somehow ended in us holding hands and playfully dancing for a moment.

"Hey Cj, if we can pop outside for a bit, and if I teleport us up to the roof we can go looking for somewhere to get lunch and nobody will see us." Phoebe said.

"And if we get far enough away from the crowd it will probably get pretty empty." I said.

"Yeah because they're all gathered around here." Phoebe replied.

"And even if they spot us then, they don't have cellphones, the news won't travel fast enough." I pointed out.

"Right, so let's go then it beats staying here." Phoebe replied.

"I guess I'll get going to then." Saphy said.

"We can take you into town and you can have lunch with us, it's no big deal." Phoebe said.

"Um, ok." Saphy replied.

-several minutes later on the roof of a nearby building.-

"See any restaurants?"

"There's that terrible ice cream place we went to last time." I said.

"Um, that's a no." Phoebe replied.

"Hey Kitty? You ever go to a restaurant before we met?" I asked.

"You mean before we even met? Because that was a really long time ago." Kitty replied.

"I know." I said.

"Ask Saphy." She replied.

"Usually the better restaurants are run by burgermon." Saphy said.

"Oh yeah, those guys. I remember now." Kitty said.

"Really?" Saphy asked.

"Well it's been awhile." Kitty replied.

"Didn't some run that ice cream place?" I asked.

"No, that was an icemon. Is there any real food here?" Phoebe asked.

"Well it is all digital, then again that doesn't mean it's not real." I said.

"Let's hop around a bit and see what we can find." Phoebe said as she offered her hands.

We spent the next few minutes exploring what seemed to be the commercial district, where there were only a few digimon out and about, none of which thought to look up. There were a few restaurants around, but whether any of them had real-tasting food, was another question. The cabbages were amazing, but they were far from perfect and our whole group had grown tired of them.

"Ok so we basically have a bit of everything for options so, what do you all want?" I asked.

Apparently you could atleast get simulations of food from all over the world here, the presence of distinctly Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, and American restaurants, among ones from a variety of less familiar nationalities, told us that the host world of this digital world was atleast somewhat similar to our own.

"Whatever is real." Phoebe said.

"Meat." Kitty said.

"I'm ok with whatever." Saphy said.

"Ok well, you wanna try that burger joint we saw last time?" I asked.

"If it doesn't taste good can we just pay and leave and try somewhere else?" Phoebe replied as she offered her hands again to take us off of the roof.

"Yeah, of course." I said as we all joined hands.

We headed into the restaurant, unsure what to expect. The cashier, a snowagumon of all things, stared us down.

"The humans have returned." He said to a kotemon who was also on staff.

"Here we go again." Phoebe said

"What is your business here?" The snow agumon asked.

"We just want to get something to eat." Phoebe replied.

"Ok." He said to us.

"Go find them a table." He said to the kotemon.

"Follow me." The kotemon said.

As expected they showed us to one of several empty tables. The restaurant wasn't completely empty, but it wasn't crowded either. We tried to be less visible by sitting on the inside of the booth, with the digibabes on the outside since for some reason they always seemed to erroneously assume Phoebe was human instead of another digimon, maybe it was her scent, maybe digimon have a unique scent I couldn't pick up on, maybe it was more of a strand of code than a scent. Whatever it was exactly I never found out.

As is the typical restaurant experience, we all spent a few minutes looking over the menu. It was standard fair for the most part with a few oddities, just bread and various fruits and vegetables, apparently just by themselves, and various digiroots also being on the menu. Steaks were listed as beef steaks and all the familiar names of various cuts of steak were different. With the largest 40 ounce apparent porterhouse equivalent being called a "Dallas Special", but that was a difference we were used to in the pokémon world as well. As literally none of the cities familiar cuts of steak are named after have equivalents in the pokémon world. And as a general rule food that has a specific city as part of its name is very unlikely to retain that name across universes, since burgers were still burgers, and hell Burgermon were still burgermon, the host of this digital world did have an equivalent of Hamburg, Germany, and apparently Dallas, Texas, unless it was of course referring to a city of the same name in a different part of the world. Unfortunately there was not enough information to prove either way. Prices were listed in megabytes and for cheaper items, just kilobytes, of data.

"I think I'll just get a ground beef sandwich with cheese." I said.

"Not feeling very adventurous huh?" Phoebe asked.

"Hey at this point, if it's a real burger and not, um, flavored meat water, it's gonna be amazing. Even if it's literally in the form of a happy meal." I said.

"What has the most meat?" Kitty asked.

"What kind of meat do you want?" I asked.

"bird." She replied.

To be fair, in the space universe you could have a zoo full of all the different kinds of delicious birds. The important thing was to find one that was in regular supply for consistency sake, on paloran that honor fell to the Paloranian chubbi, an aptly named chubby and derpy flightless dodo-like bird, native to the jungles of the larger islands, they are also farmed for meat and eggs and are easy to raise as despite being completely and utterly defenseless they have no natural predators. They were what we normally had for chickens. Aside from occasional packs of sklizen eggs.

"So you want chicken then?" I asked.

"I guess." She replied.

"Well they have chicken sandwiches apparently. Or strips or, hell they even have fried chicken here." I said.

"Can I get it grilled, extra rare? I can't find where it says if I can or not." She said as she scanned the menu.

"Really? Is that even safe?" Phoebe asked.

"Normally, no, but she can't get sick. So." I said.

"You let her?" Phoebe asked.

"She likes it that way, for some reason." I said.

"And maybe some fish too?" She asked.

"Just pick one." I said.

"Bird." She replied.

"Ok then." I said.

"I have no idea what I want I don't need to eat so I just don't most of the time." Saphy said.

"Then you can get fish and I can have yours." Kitty said.

"It's not going to work like that Kitty Kat." I said.

"Awwwe, come on." Kitty replied.

"Do you even feel hungry?" I asked.

"Sometimes, when I see food." She replied.

"I'll just get an apple." Saphy said.

"Really, just an apple?" Phoebe asked.

"It's cheap, also how are we even going to afford this?" Saphy asked.

"We could take all their dishes outside, and you can use your powers to wash them all in like 30 seconds." I said.

"Hehe, really?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, you could do a few hours work for them in like nothing." I said.

"We really should have thought about this before." Phoebe said.

"Yeah well, the thought of real food was too compelling." I said.

"Yeah." She agreed.

"Mhmmmmm. " Kitty chimed in, having long gotten accustomed to real food as well.

" Ok we have water, some fruit juices, and various generic sounding sodas to drink. I guess I'll go for lemon lime this time around." I said.

"They have orange!" Phoebe realized.

"Yeah, I saw that, you can also buy an orange." I replied.

"Probably the big ones though, not the little berry sized ones like oran berries can be." She said.

"I don't think oranges can be that small." I said.

"They can't?" She asked.

"No they can be about as small as a medium sized oran berry and that's all the smaller they get." I said.

"I didn't know that." Phoebe replied.

"Unless of course they have different oranges." I said.

"Who knows?" She replied.

"Which drink do I like again?" Kitty asked.

" Oh fuck, if you're thinking about the one I'm thinking you're thinking about, that was orange too basically." I said.

"Really?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah we usually kept a box of Citrano number 7 in stock, ever heard of it?

"I think I've seen it around before." Phoebe replied.

" Well the Citrano numbers were about the only thing that stores consistently had in stock, as they had a good interplanetary distribution network. There was a lot of other brands and options, but, whether they would still be in stores when you ran out was another story. Any normal person would identify it as orange-flavored, it even came in an orange can from an orange box. Though the flavor itself probably wasn't based on oranges it ended up being similar."

"I guess I'll get orange too then." Kitty said.

"I guess I will too." Saphy said.

"Everybody is going orange?" I asked.

"Except for you Mr. lemon lime." Phoebe said.

" Eh well." I said.

"You just gotta be different." Phoebe teased.

"Well what if their orange is crap but the lemon lime is good?" I asked.

"With our luck they'll both be bad." Phoebe said.

"Probably." I replied.

"Um, can I get your drinks now?" The Kotemon asked.

"Three orange sodas, one Lemon Lime, no ice." I said.

"Ok, I'll go get those." The kotemon replied.

"Well I guess when that guy comes back we'll find out if we're getting the real deal or not." I said.

"Yeah." Phoebe replied.

"Maybe bachusmon can make soda?" Saphy asked.

"Probably, but we're not here for the drinks so much as we are for the food." I replied.

"But if the drinks are made from cabbage juice we'll know." Phoebe said.

"Yep." I replied.

The kotemon returned with our drinks a few minutes later.

"What food would you like to order now?" It asked.

"Um, give us a bit." Phoebe replied.

"Ok then, I'll be back in a bit." The digimon waiter said before walking away to tend to other customers.

"Well they're carbonated, that's a good sign." I said as I eyed the bubbly, clear drink in my glass. " I said.

"Yeah, cabbage juice isn't all bubbly like that." Phoebe replied.

"So who's going first?" I asked.

"You go, since you're the odd one out." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

I took a sip and was greeted with a drink that tasted like sprite but a bit more lemony.

"Holy crap, it's real." I replied.

"No way really?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, Drink yours." I said.

A few seconds later

"Arceeeeeus It's real oh my…..Cj. this is amazing." She said.

"Holy motherfucking shitballs Pheebles we got ourselves some actual fucking soda!" I said.

"Cj that means the food here is probably real too!" She replied.

"Holy shit this can't be happening." I said.

It taste different, from what I remember." Kitty said as she went and took a sip while we were busy getting all excited.

"Yeah, well, I highly doubt it's the same brand Kitty Kat, I doubt we'll ever see that brand again actually, but it's real so…yeah." I said.

"I mean it's good though." Kitty said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"oooh Arceus this is the best drink I've had in so long." Phoebe replied.

" Since we went to bachusmon's?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"God this is such a relief." I said.

"It makes that ice cream place look really bad." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, well, I guess some digimon must like it." I said.

"Probably." She replied.

"So this means I might actually get a cheeseburger." I said.

"Well we have to wait till that guy comes back so we can order it first." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"I might take Kitty shopping after this so we can try to make tonight even more special. You'll be ok on your own for a bit won't you Cj?" Phoebe asked.

"What are you shopping for?" I asked.

"Just some nice dresses and stuff. Kitty I promise I won't make you look silly this time." She said.

"Ok." Kitty replied, seemingly having forgotten the incident she was referring to.

"Do you expect me to dress up too?" I asked.

"You could, if you want to try to impress us." Phoebe replied.

"Eh fuck it, might as well, makes it more fun for you I guess." I replied.

"Of course it does." Phoebe replied.

"Can I go with you?" Saphy asked Phoebe.

"Yeah, I guess so, you can help pick out dresses for Kitty." Phoebe replied.

"Except there's one major flaw." I said.

"What?" Phoebe asked.

"If we separate I have to walk along the streets." I said.

"So? There's not as much of a crowd here it's almost empty even. You'll be fine." Phoebe replied.

"Allright then." I said.

"Are you ready to order yet?" The kotemon asked as it returned to our table.

"Yeah I'll have a ground beef sandwich with cheese and fried potato sticks."

"I want chicken grilled, extra rare, " Kitty said.

"Strips?" Kotemon asked.

"Sure, just make sure it's extra rare." Kitty replied.

"With fried potato sticks?" The kotemon asked.

"No, no sides." Kitty said.

"oookay." The kotemon replied.

"Can I just get a chicken sandwich, cooked normally?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, with potato sticks?" The kotemon asked.

"I guess so, or wait can I get an orange instead?" Phoebe replied.

"Um, yeah I think we can do that." The kotemon replied.

"I'll just have an apple." Saphy said.

"Ok, yeah, that's easy." The kotemon replied.

"It'll be out in just a bit." The kotemon said before running the order over to the kitchen.

"So you got chicken and an orange?" I asked.

"Why not?" Phoebe asked.

"It just seems odd." I said.

"I like oranges." She replied.

"I know I know, it's still strange though." I said.

"Well, anyway Kitty you were raised by a mudfrigimon right?" Phoebe asked.

"Mhm." Kitty replied.

"What raised you Saphy?" Phoebe asked.

"You wanna go there? Ok. I was raised by a marine angemon, in a group with some other aquamon, some gomamon, and some betamon and she taught us how to read and some other basic things." Saphy replied.

"So they were like your brothers and sisters?" Phoebe asked.

"ummm, kind of, but not quite, we played together, we were all friends, but I haven't seen any of them in a long time, I wonder if they're even still around. One of crimsonseadramon's goons said it destroyed my village. I hope he was mistaken, I hope they're ok, but I'm also kind of afraid to find out for sure." Saphy replied.

"Well it's your choice if you want, we have plenty of time now." Phoebe said.

"I don't know if I should though." Saphy said.

"Well, if you don't, and you end up coming with us when we leave this world, you'll never get another chance to find out. It's up to you." Phoebe said.

"I think it's a bad call." I said.

" How come?" Phoebe asked.

"Atleast the way things are now, you can always hope they made it, you go out there and find out they didn't, there goes all that hope." I said.

"But is it really worth not knowing what happened for sure?" Phoebe asked.

"How is that information going to help her in the future?" I asked.

"I don't know." Phoebe replied.

"There's nothing she could learn from it, there's nothing she could've done to change it. It's just unneccesary emotional pain that she could otherwise spend her whole life refusing to accept or just not have to process." I said.

"Sometimes closure is more important." Phoebe said.

"Well, either way it's important to move on." I said.

"Right." Phoebe agreed.

"I can't wait until our food gets here. If the drinks are real the food has to be real right?" I asked.

"I would think so." Phoebe replied.

"I just hope its extra rare." Kitty said.

"Even if it ends up being extra rare chicken water?" I said.

"Chicken cabbage more likely." Phoebe said.

"Mushrooms, cabbages can't grow up here." Saphy said.

"I don't want it to be any of those things." I said.

"But I want it extra rare." Kitty said.

"I know, I meant the other things." I said.

"Isn't that supposed to be her food anyway?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, but if hers is bad ours probably will be too." I said.

"I don't think it will be, why would they have real drinks but fake food?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, but who knows?" I said.

"How did they even make the drinks this good anyway?" I asked.

"I dunno." She replied.

"Hey Cj, what are we going to do about Ophanimon?" She asked a bit later.

"We'll just have to play it by ear Pheebles, there's not a correct side to take at this point. I don't want to fight her or the goddesses but at the end of the day, who has the power to get us out of here? Because that is who we're going to have to side with, if we're ever going to see our kids again. And then of course our friends have no reason to get involved in this at all. " I said.

"I'm going with whatever side you pick because I want to meet your kids." Kitty said.

"Awwe, thanks Kitty Kat." I replied as I put my arm around her.

"Hey our food is coming." Phoebe said as the kotemon emerged from the kitchen with a tray.

"Well that was fast." I said.

"Maybe too fast." Phoebe said as the kotemon approached our table.

"Do you think they made it all extra rare?" I asked.

"Ok I got your food here see if I can remember all this. " The kotemon said as it presented us with plates of food that did not look like it was made of cabbages or mushrooms.

"Here you go, and you, and you, and you." It said as it distributed the plates.

"Thankyou." Phoebe replied.

"You want a knife for your orange?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"We don't have knives." The kotemon said.

"You don't have a maker machine back there?" I asked.

"Yeah, but it only makes food ingredients, a wizardmon obsessed with human food made one for all the restaurants in this town, that's how we can serve authentic human food. We can put any kind of data into it and it converts it into ingredients, fruit, vegetables, meat, anything." The kotemon said.

"Wizardmon can make maker machines?" I asked.

"I think only some can, not all of them though. I've known a lot of wizardmon, used to be every village seemed to have atleast one and due to all the craziness going on many of them have moved over here like everyone else, and they all brought their innovations with them. Anyway, I gotta get back to work." The kotemon replied.

"Kitty can you peal this for me?" Phoebe asked.

"Mine too?" Saphy asked.

"You don't peel apples. " I said.

"Really?" Saphy asked.

"Most of the time anyway." I said.

"Here." Kitty said, setting her orange on the table and slicing it into three pieces with her claws, making an awkward thud sound that caused other patrons to look over at us.

"Um, that's not what I meant." Phoebe said.

"You were just supposed to cut the skin off." I said.

"Oh, sorry." Kitty said, nervously.

"It's ok, it's still edible. Actually, now I can just bite the center out." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty replied as Phoebe returned her orange slices to her plate.

"Thanks." Phoebe said.

"Mhm." Kitty cutely replied.

"Pheebles, I must be dreaming, because this actually taste like a real cheeseburger." I said.

"You're not dreaming. This orange tastes real too." Phoebe said.

"And the chicken?" I asked.

"I'll get to that in a bit. I want to enjoy my orange first." She replied.

"Ok, enjoy away." I replied.

"Mmh these are chewy." Kitty said.

"They're pink." I replied.

"Like they're supposed to be, you wanna try?" Kitty said.

"You know I can't. I could get sick." I said.

"But, Cj, its digital isn't it? Does it even have germs?" Phoebe said.

"What if it does is it worth the risk?" I asked.

"Wuss." She teased.

"Then you try it." I said again.

"She offered it to you not me." Phoebe said.

"Well you can try it too." Kitty said.

"Um…no thanks." Phoebe replied.

"Exactly." I said.

"Aren't you going to kiss her sometime tonight though?" Phoebe asked.

"Just drop it Pheebles." I said.

"Ok, whatever." She replied.

"Now, no more talking baby girl, I got an actual genuine-looking cheeseburger and I intend to thoroughly enjoy it." I said.

"Ok." She said.

"While you hopefully enjoy what you ordered." I said.

"I am, so far." She replied.

"Good." I said.

It was a good meal, the best we had in a long time. Then came the part we were secretly dreading, after we greedily devoured all the food we ordered like we were starving, we had to find an answer to how we were going to find a way to pay for all this because the data guns couldn't read the digibabes properly, and we were unsure what would happen if they tried to pull any data out of them, so we were basically broke. Obviously the dataguns with deusmon's data on them were off limits as well, because we didn't need that thing getting out again. Our food was gone, and the kotemon was approaching our table once again,

"So how are we going to pay for this?" I asked, quietly.

"Let's just try to play stupid first." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"On behalf of everyone who works here, your meal today is free of charge. Thankyou for protecting the digital world and providing a sense of hope that one day things shall return to normal." The kotemon announced.

"Thankyou so much." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah, thanks buddy." I replied.

"Everyone here should be thanking you." The kotemon replied before walking away.

"Well, that worked out well." I said, after it was out of earshot, feeling somewhat relieved.

"Yeah." Phoebe agreed.

"So we don't have to pay?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, this time anyway, but don't abuse it and don't expect everyplace to be like that, we got lucky they decided to be nice, that is all." I said.

"We're going to need money to go shopping too." Phoebe realized.

"Maybe Iceleomon can lend some data?" Saphy asked.

"Maybe, his data isn't all weird like you girl's are because he wouldn't let the U.S.C give him any." Phoebe replied.

"And then there's Ninjamon." Kitty said.

"I doubt he has that much." Saphy replied.

"Probably enough to buy Phoebe some clothes for this evening." Kitty said.

"But is he willing to part with it?" Saphy asked.

"I don't know." Kitty replied.

"You're getting clothes too." Phoebe said.

"I am?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, I bet after twenty years Cj wouldn't mind seeing you in a different outfit." Phoebe said.

"He doesn't mind the one I have." Kitty said.

"Yeah but, why not try something different? It would help make tonight more special." Phoebe said.

"Ok, fine. I'm not getting my ears pierced though, that hurts." Kitty said.

"We weren't even going to do that to begin with. I don't wear earings either, it's more of a human thing." Phoebe said.

"You're going to dress her up like you?" I asked.

"No, I have a few ideas, depending on what we can find, you'll just have to wait and see until tonight lover boy." Phoebe teased.

"If you say so baby girl." I replied.

We left a couple minutes later.

"Ok, so we'll go get some data from IceLeomon, buy a clean data gun and split the rest, then we'll split up and go shopping." Phoebe said

"If we can talk him into it." I said.

"Well he doesn't to digivolve, so what's he need all his excess data for?" Phoebe asked.

"In case he wants to gamble some more?" I asked.

"I don't think he'll do that again after he got stuck as a pandamon for a while." Phoebe replied.

"I remember that. He was so grumpy about it." Saphy chimed.

"It's been a hundred years since then almost." I said.

"Well still." Phoebe replied.

-several minutes of teleporting from roof to roof later-

"Oh yeaaaaaaaah, I remember that now." Kitty said, late enough for it to be a bit awkward.

"Remember what?" I asked as it had been awhile since anyone said anything.

"When he used to be a pandamon." Kitty replied.

"Kitty that was like ten minutes ago." I said.

"No it wasn't it was years and years and years ago I'm sure of it." She said.

"Yeah, you're right, but I meant when we were talking about it, it was like ten minutes ago." I said.

"Yeah you're a little late to the party Kitty." Phoebe said.

"Well what are we talking about now then?" She asked.

"Nothing, we're just letting Pheebles rest for a bit before she takes us to the next building." I said.

"Mhm." Phoebe replied.

"Did you want to talk about something?" Phoebe asked.

"How about how handsome Cj is today?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, he is really handsome but he could use some new clothes though." Phoebe said.

"I don't know." Kitty replied.

"Well I'm down to what like 3 useable shirts now?" I said.

"You keep getting hurt and ruining them!" Phoebe said teasingly.

"I don't get hurt that much come on." I said.

"I can show you all the bloody rags." She said.

"Why did you keep them?" I asked.

"Because we might need some rags, also because I might need to remind you how badly you get hurt sometimes so you won't get hurt like that again in the future." She said.

"Pheebles I know how much it scares you, but you know I'd never do that on purpose it just happens sometimes." I said.

"I know, but, that doesn't make it any less scary." She said.

"Yeah well, how do you think I feel when you push yourself to the point where you start bleeding out of your ears?" I asked.

"Yeah, I guess that's fair." She replied with a sigh.

" Come on, you ready to teleport yet?" I asked.

"Yeah, I've been ready for a while." She replied.

"Ok then, let's go." I said.

"Hands everyone!" Phoebe replied.

A few minutes later we made it back to the hotel to find that most of the crowd had dispersed, there were still a few groups of digimon on the platform gathered around and talking amongst themselves, and some trailmon on the rails going about their daily lives, but that was pretty normal for this city.

Finding IceLeomon was easy enough as he was near atleast one of his wives most of the time if not both and Phoebe could read them. He ended up being on the hotel roof. Cue having to walk up several floors only for Phoebe to say he was still higher up. As usual, he was sparring with his apparent best friend Ninjamon who was as determined as ever to win. This constant sparring was making ninjamon stronger, not so much in terms of power, but in terms of speed and skill, but he still had a long way to go. Atleast at this point he had a good chance of being able to take on any other champion.

Phoebe went to go talk to Ellie while the rest of us watched them spar, as Kaytori was busy sparring with Zari who seemed to have found a way to get the exercise she wanted. Most of the main group was here except for Henry and Claire, who decided to brave the crowds and went off exploring almost as soon as they moved their things to their hotel room.

"Ci what are you doing up here? Did you get back already?" Zari asked once she noticed me.

"Yeah, we're just seeing if we can bum some data off of IceLeomon so we can do some shopping." I said.

"How come you never have your own money?" She asked.

"I don't know we just keep ending up like that. Then again you don't have any data either do you?" I said.

"Yeah, that's true, but you have a digimon I don't." She replied.

"Well, that's way more of Ophanimon's fault than mine." I said.

"True that." Zari replied.

"Are you done? Or are we going another round?" Kaytori asked.

"Yeah, just a minute." Zari said.

"No, Phoebe is going to freak out if she comes back and find you two talking." Kitty said.

"She will?" Saphy asked in disbelief.

"Kitty Kat, we can talk, it's ok." I said.

"I don't want to take any chances, you know I need her to like me." Kitty said.

"She already likes you don't worry about it. And she's probably already aware this is happening, if it bothered her that much she'd be running over here telling me off herself. Ok?" I said.

"Ok, but I want some attention too." Kitty replied.

"Ohhh, you'll get plenty of it tonight ok ? You shouldn't be so jealous." I said.

"Yeah we're just talking about normal stuff, nothing wrong with that." Zari said.

"Anyway Cj you think I can beat her?" Zari asked.

"Kitty? No, not if she takes it seriously, you're strong babe, but she's a digimon at the end of the day. " I said.

"Hehehe." Kitty grinned maliciously.

"No I mean Kaytori you dummy I know trying to fight Kitty is a bad Idea." Zari said.

"How's it been going so far?" I asked.

"She's pretty good, but I've been holding my own." Zari replied.

"I think you have a fair chance then." I said.

"That's all?" Zari asked.

"What can I say? I'm not a gambling man." I replied.

"Cj, I'm going to go back to the bus real quick to get the datagun." Phoebe said after blinking in out of nowhere.

"Right ok." I managed to reply before she went and pulled me into a kiss.

"Remember, you're my Cj." She said.

"Yes, I know, you sweet thing." I said as I hugged her.

"Kitty Kat keep it up you're doing great." Phoebe said.

"You think so?" Kitty asked.

"I know so." Phoebe replied.

"Saphy you staying up here?" Phoebe asked her own digimon.

"Um, I don't know, it's kind of cold." Saphy replied.

"Oh right you still need to get your coat back from Lillymon." Phoebe said.

"I might just get another one today." Saphy replied.

"All right then we'll have to get some data first, I'm off, Cj behave yourself." She said.

"You're the one that usually acts up." I said only to realize she teleported away already so I couldn't respond.

"She should only be gone for a few minutes." Saphy said.

"Yeah, but, she just likes to tease." I said.

"Ready then?" Zari asked.

"You bet." Kaytori replied.

"Kitty Kat you wanna stay up here or start heading back down or what?" I asked.

"Let's go back inside, it's cold out here." Saphy replied before she could.

"Ok Saphy we'll go back in." Kitty said.

"Cool." She replied.

I followed Kitty back inside where we started heading back down quite a few flights of stairs.

"You know we could annoy Pheebles a little bit by just sticking to one of the middle floors." I said as we made our way down.

"Why?" Kitty asked.

"Is that really a good idea?" Saphy asked.

"Well, she tries to push my buttons, sometimes I try to push hers. She won't get that mad she'll just get really cute like she usually does.' I said.

"What are we going to do there though?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know we could just sit around in the hall and talk I guess." I replied.

"About what?" She asked.

"Flying bannanas, I don't know, whatever is on your mind." I said.

"So not much of anything really." Saphy mumbled.

"Oh be nice." I said.

"Yeah, you big blue meany." Kitty said.

"You're taller than me." Saphy said.

"You're still a big meany." Kitty replied.

"Fine then what's on your mind Saphy?" I asked.

"This thing with Ophanimon." She said.

"Really? Have you realized yet that she might not be the goddess you imagine her to be?" I asked.

"I know that but I'm not sure if we can fight her." Saphy said.

"I'm not sure either." Kitty agreed.

"Well she's probably not as strong as deusmon." I said.

"Yeah, but deusmon was split up a lot between all the dark rulers, Ophanimon is only one and as goddess she can manipulate the background code more than any other. She could permanently delete us in an instant." Saphy said.

"Then why hasn't she? Why didn't she just permanently delete deusmon?" I asked.

"I don't know." Saphy said.

"Having that power is a completely different thing from knowing how to use it. I bet that if she can. She doesn't know how. " I said.

"Or maybe she just doesn't want to." Saphy replied

"Well all that aside we're not really going to just go in and fight her like we did with the dark rulers ok? The goddesses will go in first and we'll decide what to do depending on how that goes. It's like I told Pheebles, we're going to play this by ear, because at this point even though Ophanimon is not looking so good, we're not sure what side to take. Hopefully that will put you at ease." I replied.

"It makes it a little better I guess." She replied.

"Now Kitty do you have any concerns?" I asked.

"No, I trust you." She replied.

"Allright then." I said.

"Really you guys just had to make me come find you?" Phoebe asked.

"You just had to leave me in an awkward position." I said.

"I'm your wife, it's my job." She said cheekily.

"Exactly, and I'm your husband." I said.

"I love you." She said.

"Love you too." I replied.

"Come on then we need to get back up to the roof." Phoebe said.

-a couple minutes of climbing stairs and waiting for Ninjamon to take a break later-

"Hey IceLeomon can we have some of your excess data please so we can go shopping?" Phoebe asked.

"If you're will to fight for it." He replied.

"Um….uh…" Phoebe said, unsure as I got in front of her.

"Cj? What no, you're not fighting him. You'll get hurt." She said before I could say anything.

"I was going to nominate Kitty you goofball." I replied.

"Whaaaa?" Kitty asked.

"You'll fight him for us won't you babe? It's just a friendly match, don't hurt him too much." I said.

"Pwease." Phoebe asked adorably.

"Ok." Kitty said.

" Remember this is just a friendly match, hold back a little bit." I said to her, sternly.

"I know." Kitty said.

"Well what's the point of that then?" IceLeomon asked. "Give me all you got or don't give me anything."

"Nnng." Kitty made unsure noises as she looked at me.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked.

"Why wouldn't I be? She's still just an ultimate in that form isn't she?" IceLeomon asked.

"Yeah, but….oh fuck Kitty."

"What?" She asked.

"Just don't kill him." I replied.

"Right." She said with a smile as she brandished her claws.

"Saphy hey Saphy!" Ninjamon called out to his apparent crush. Saphy was huddled against the exit door so she could quickly escape the cold.

"What do you want?" Saphy asked.

"I almost beat him this time." Ninjamon said.

"Really?" Saphy asked, just a bit amused.

"It was close, really close." Ninjamon said.

"You sure? You looked a lot more banged up than he does." Saphy asked.

"Well that's cause…um, you left and I couldn't see you anymore." Ninjamon said.

"You should've been focusing more on him than me." Saphy replied.

"Yeah well…." He tried to explain himself but failed miserably.

"Oh just relax, Kitty will take care of him for you." Saphy said.

"I don't need her to take care of him for me, I know I can beat him myself I just, I need to get stronger." Ninjamon said.

"That takes time." Saphy replied.

"No kidding." Ninjamon agreed.

"Now watch, this should be quick." Saphy said.

Kitty charge at him as he closed his eyes, I don't know how but his punch connected and sent her into the little exit shack right by where Saphy and Ninjamon were standing.

"Arceus" Phoebe said, genuinely surprised.

"Huh, didn't see that coming." I said.

"You allright Kitty?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied as she peeled herself off the wall.

"I told you not to hold back." IceLeomon said.

"You got lucky." Kitty replied, feeling a bit annoyed now.

"Keep your guard up you know he can hit you now. That was a whole fifteen percent health loss you can't get hit like that too many more times." I said as she passed by.

"Yeah." She replied.

"I'm pulling you out at 30." I said.

"It won't get that low." She replied.

"It better not." I said.

"Let's try this again." Kitty said.

"It will just end the same." IceLeomon said.

"Well, you know what I mean." Kitty replied.

His punch missed this time, as she cut into his side drawing blood. Unphased by the severity of the wound he turned and immediately tried to punch her again, which again she managed to avoid by performing various acrobatic maneuvers that were honestly a bit hard to track let alone counter. She cut him several times before he was able to land a hit and get himself a bit of a reprieve.

"Careful you down to sixty percent." Ellie called out to him.

"Where am I at Cj?" Kitty asked.

"Um, 73." I replied.

"Just sixty percent?" Ninjamon asked.

"You've gotten him lower?" Saphy asked.

"My best was 55, she's going to beat me." Ninjamon said.

"Well she does have two whole levels on you." Saphy said.

"I need to find a way to digivolve." Ninjamon said.

"You are strong." IceLeomon said. "But I think I've found your weakness."

"Oh really?" Kitty asked before she went on the attack again.

Somehow he managed to get another hit in, slamming her into the ground taking her down to 61
"57." Ellie said.

"61." I said, now realizing IceLeomon was more competent than I thought.

"You can't dodge when you're in the air, all I have to do is get you to jump and I can connect every time." IceLeomon said.

"Well fuck." I said.

"How has this never come up before?" Phoebe asked.

"Think about it Pheebles, most of the enemies we fought so far are either too big to be able to move that fast or don't survive long enough to figure this out." I said.

"Can I start going for criticals now?" Kitty asked.

"No! Kitty we aren't trying to kill him." I said.

"I know that, I'm not going to absorb his data." She replied.

"No criticals." I repeated.

"Fine." Kitty said.

There's criticals?" Phoebe asked.

"They don't have organs but you know, you've see enough to know by now, you slash their throat, cut off their head, cut them into pieces, stab them in the eyes, if it's not an instant kill, it still does a hell of a lot more damage than usual and at the very least it cripples them." I said.

"Oh, kind of like when I castrated that centaurumon." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, that's uh, pretty critical." I replied.

"This is starting to hurt." Kitty said.

"Don't give up yet, come on we need that data!" I said.

"OK then Icey, come at me when you're ready." Kitty said.

"You want to go on the defensive now? Fair enough." IceLeomon said before running towards her.

"No, I just want you to come to me this time." Kitty replied.

"Allright then, brace yourself." IceLeomon replied.

"I don't need to." She replied as he ran towards her.

"You know? As clumsy as she can be sometimes she's pretty elegant when she fights." Phoebe said as they started going at it and started moving too fast to track. I just kept monitoring her health on the digivice. It didn't look like she was taking any hits.

"Once she gets in her groove she puts on quite a show." I agreed.

"Can't she hypnotize too?" Phoebe asked.

"Yes, but her other form is way better at it." I said.

"So that's why she hasn't done it in a while?" Phoebe said.

"Yeah, it just makes more sense for her to use her other form if that's what we need, a lot less digimon are immune to darkness love and she can completely control them." I replied.

"She makes it look so easy." Phoebe said.

"Well she also can't use telekinesis, telepathy, read minds, or teleport like you can. " I said.

"True." Phoebe replied.

"54." Ellie said, Kitty must have managed to cut him.

"Well she beat me." Ninjamon said.

"Not without difficulty though, look how fast they're moving." Saphy replied.

"49." Ellie said a few seconds later.

"Come on babe, you got this." I said.

"35." Ellie said a bit later.

"Ok that's enough Kitty pull out." I said.

"No, keep going. I know I can hit you. Dammit." Iceleomon said as he fell to his knees.

"Cj said stop that means stop." Kitty said as she walked away with just a bit of a limp.

"If you walk away you lose." IceLeomon said.

"You're at 35, you haven't managed to hit her since you started going at it again, you were going to lose, we're just saving you some pain." I said.

"How did you get that fast?" IceLeomon asked.

"I don't know." Kitty replied.

"Allright Pheebles you get his data I'll get Kitty healed up, maybe give her a nice massaage" I said.

"OK but keep your clothes on." She said as Kitty came up and hugged me. .

"Mm you did good babe. Let's take you inside and get you healed. Maybe give you a nice massage." I said, hugging her back.

"Mmm, yeah." Kitty replied.

"No if I have to wait for tonight so do you." Phoebe said.

"You can come join us." Kitty said.

"No, I want to make Cj wait for once." Phoebe said.

"nnng, you're no fun." Kitty said.

"It's ok we still have tonight, let's go." I said.

"You forfeited, you don't get the data." IceLeomon said as he managed to stand back up.

"Actually hold on a sec." I said, since IceLeomon was being belligerent.

"Lee Lee you lost, give them the data. It's only fair." Ellie scolded him.

"But,,,,ugh, rrr, fine, you win." IceLeomon said.

"Thankyou." Phoebe replied teasingly.

"Don't take too much please I really don't want to be a pandamon again." IceLeomon said.

"I'll try not to." Phoebe replied.

"Ok now let's go." I said, as he finally admitted defeat.

"Right." Kitty replied.

"Saphy go with Cj and Kitty make sure they don't do anything they're not supposed too." Phoebe said.

"Really Pheebles?" I asked.

"I know how you feel about her right now. If I have to show control so do you." Phoebe said.

"I know and I am." I said.

"Well then you won't mind taking Saphy with you." Phoebe said.

"I don't mind, what I mind is your lack of trust in me." I said.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"Yeah, ok then." I replied.

"Really ok?" Kitty asked as we made our way inside.

"People say things without thinking sometimes, as long as she's sorry." I said.

"She only said that because she loves you." Saphy said.

"Yeah, I know. And she's probably a bit jealous Kitty was doing an amazing job out there." I replied before turning towards Kitty.

"How badly are you hurt Kitty Kat? The numbers don't indicate pain very well." I said.

"I'm just sore all around." She replied.

"You keep holding your stomach." I pointed out.

"He punches hard." Kitty replied.

"Eh well, we'll get you healed up and then we'll probably leave and do some shopping for our date tonight." I said.

"Ok." She said with some excitement.

Several minutes later, back in our room-

"Ok is that enough cream? It says your back up to 95." I said.

"Well, my boobs kind of hurt now too." She said after she laid down on the bed.

"Eh-heh, I'm sure they do." I replied, not believing a word of it.

"Yeah, what are you trying to pull?" Saphy asked from the other side of the door.

"Oh right, Saphy is here." Kitty said.

"Yeah, she's been by the door this whole time." I said.

"Well she's been very quiet." Kitty said.

"She usually is." I replied.

"I thought she was going to go back to her room." Kitty said.

"No Pheebles told her to follow us remember?" I asked.

"I didn't think she was taking it seriously." Kitty replied.

"Babe, you're a mess." I said, affectionately.

"I did good though." She said.

"Yeah, you did. Anyway we don't have permission and Phoebe should be here any minute anyway. It's going to be a fun night, you're not going to miss this. And she's feeling jealous enough as is and now is not a time she wants to be pushed." I said.

"Huh?" She asked, confused.

"Nevermind that babe, just trust me it's a bad idea." I said.

"Ok, can we snuggle atleast?" Kitty replied.

"Yeah, atleast until she gets here." I said.

She ended up opening the door just moments after I finished saying that.

"Thank Arceus you both still have clothes on." Phoebe said.

"I told you everything would be ok." I said.

"You were about to get in bed with her." Phoebe said.

"To snuggle." I said.

"Yeah right." She teased.

"Really?" I said.

"Hey Kitty remember our first time when I came into that room and you were both playing with each other naked?" I asked.

"Huh?" She asked.

"Just nod and say yes babe." I said.

"Yes." She replied.

"Ok ok, I get your point." Phoebe said.

"Now come here Pheebles." I said as I pulled her into a hug.

"Hmm?" She asked, confused.

"I love you baby girl." I said before kissing her on the head.

"I love you too." She said with a sigh.

"Let me look into those big beautiful eyes for a moment." I said.

She looked up at me.

"There we go. Settle down, you know you're still my greatest treasure and I'd never hurt you." I said.

"Oh good grief." Saphy said.

We kissed and I held her for a bit.

"Are you two still on this planet?" Saphy asked.

"No, Saphy, be quiet." Phoebe said.

"So, you wanna have bit of fun now or?" I asked.

"No I'm still making both of you wait for both of us until tonight, nice try though. Naughty boy." She replied before kissing me.

"Well I tried Kitty Kat." I said.

"I saw." She replied.

"Ok then I guess we're going shopping now?" I asked.

"Yeah, let's go, come on Kitty." Phoebe said.

"Saphy you want to come too?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't feel like going back outside again, it's too cold." Saphy replied.

"Ok, maybe you could try to get your coat back from Lillymon?" Phoebe asked.

"What room is she even in?" Saphy asked.

"I think she's in the one on the other end of the hall." Phoebe said.

"Are they here?" Saphy asked.

"I don't know, you wanna go check?" Phoebe replied.

"Which side of the hall are they on?" Saphy asked.

"I don't remember, just knock on both and see if they answer." Phoebe said.

"Ok." She replied before heading down the hall.

"Hello?" Saphy asked as she knocked on the door on the right side. A few seconds passed without a response so she made her way to the left side of the hall to try it.

"Hello?" She asked again as she knocked on the door.

"Don't come in." Violet said from the other side.

"I just want my coat back." Saphy said.

"Well we're, we're naked." Violet said, awkwardly.

"Why?" Saphy asked.

"We're just having some fun." Violet replied.

Phoebe started giggling which infectiously spread to me as well and then even Kitty couldn't escape the plague of laughter.

"Are they going to end up together?" She asked.

"No idea, but it seems like it." I said.

"I can't wait until we get to play with them on the bus." Phoebe said.

"Really? I was thinking I can't wait to dance with you tonight." I said.

"I can't wait for that either, or for tonight." She said.

"There's not a lot you can wait for is there?" I asked.

"having to explain to Nina what the deal with you and Kitty is." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, that's going to be, interesting, but I think they'll get along." I said.

"I hope so." Kitty said.

"You better, she's our daughter and she has more right to have Cj as a father than you have to have him as a husband." Phoebe said.

"Right, we made a commitment when we adopted her and we need to stand by it." I said.

"Exactly." Phoebe replied.

"That said, you'll probably get along fine just be nice to her, she won't mind having two mommies." I said.

"Um, no Kitty is her aunt not her mommy." Phoebe said.

'"Ok then, that's fine too." I said.

"I'm her only mommy." Phoebe insisted.

"Her bio mom loved her too." I said.

"Her bio mom?" Kitty asked.

"Her actual mom was murdered by team rocket, we were able to find her ghost even and she passed on entrusting her to us, meanwhile we don't even have a single clue as to who her father is." I said.

"It's you Cj." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, I guess so. She's a good kid, a bit on the eccentric side, but, yeah, I honestly can't see why either of you would have problems with the other." I said.

"Here's your coat back." Violet said as she opened the door just enough to slip it through.

"Um thanks." Saphy said.

"You'll get her one for herself won't you?" Violet asked.

"I think that's part of the plan yeah." Saphy replied, a bit overwhelmed.

"Of course we will, we're about to go shopping right now." Phoebe said.

"Ok here's how I want to do this. I'll take you and Saphy to a store for you and then Kitty and I will go to a different store for us, and then we'll meet you at bachusmon's tonight." Phoebe said.

"That long?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, it will make it more romantic, besides I want it to be a surprise." Phoebe replied.

"Also if you feel lonely before then I give you permission to play with Saphy and or Zari if you can pull it off before tonight, but you better have enough energy left for Kitty and I or I will be upset." Phoebe said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Um, yeah no." Saphy said.

"Oh Saphy, quit acting like you don't enjoy it." Phoebe said.

"She doesn't sound ok with that." I said.

"I'm not, thanks. Not in the mood at all." Saphy said.

"Yeah, well, she's just shy and even if she doesn't want to, you heard Zari earlier, she probably will. And I'm not saying right now either, you'll both have plenty of time to be in the mood." Phoebe said.

"I was in the mood earlier but you wouldn't let me and you also said that I was yours today." I said.

"I know, but that was before I had this idea and I don't want you to feel lonely, of course, you have to use protection with Zari though and give me permission to play with Kitty." Phoebe continued.

"Phoebe, you might be ok with it, but I'll be upset with him if he does that." Kitty said.

"It doesn't sound like she's is ok with that either." I said.

"I'm not, especially when she wouldn't let us do anything a few minutes ago. Don't go be with anyone else just because she won't let you have me right now. And don't bother giving her permission, I don't want to play with her I want you." Kitty said.

"I thought we were sisters. " Kitty said.

"Well, if we're still sisters you can have him tomorrow night then. And, you know, I never thought he would actually go through with it. I just wanted to be reassured." Phoebe said.

"And look how much he loves us he didn't even think about messing around with Zari." Phoebe teased.

"I guess." Kitty replied.

"Are we still going through with your idea or not?" I asked.

"The shopping separately and meeting at bachusmon's part, yeah." Phoebe replied.

"This is all nice and everything, but are we going shopping or not?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, let's go." Phoebe said.

"Oh and Cj the offer still stands." Phoebe said as we headed for the stairs.

"And I'm still not taking it." I replied.

"Yeah well, I just don't want you to worry, I want you to be happy." Phoebe said.

"I am." I said.

"Good." She replied.

"You're mine." She said as she playfully squeezed me again.

"Yep." I replied.

"Now mush!" She said playfully as she jumped up on my back using her powers to offset most of her weight.

"Um, no." I said.

"Oh come on pwease?" She asked cutely.

"You want a ride down the stairs? How lazy are you?" I teased.

"You could just throw her down the stairs." Kitty jokingly chimed.

"No, Kitty Kat I don't want to hurt her I just want her to get off of me. Also you need to remember she's a lot more fragile than you are." I replied.

"Do you really want him to hurt me?" Phoebe asked.

"Not really." Kitty said.

"Well then you can ride too." Phoebe said.

"No! Not both of you, Come on." I said.

"I can't, your fat butt took up all the room." Kitty said teasingly, once again thinking she was the funniest thing ever.

"Have you looked in a mirror recently?" Phoebe asked.

"I can't! You keep getting to them first and breaking them because you're so ugly!" Kitty teased.

"Well if you could you'd know your butt is way bigger than mine. Like waaaaaaaaaay bigger. Actually you know what I don't want you up here you might hurt Cj with your big butt." Phoebe said.

"Allright knock it off, and Pheebles get off my back, seriously, I love you, but I don't want to trip and send us both falling down the stairs, we really don't need that today." I said.

"Ohhhh, okaaay. " My beloved finally relented and let go of me.

"You don't mean any of that do you Kitty?" Phoebe asked.

"no." She replied.

"You promise?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah." Kitty replied.

"What do you think of Saphy's butt?" Kitty asked.

"Shut up." Saphy replied.

"I don't know, we'll just keep jumping around until we find a suitable store. Then we'll see you at bachusmon's." Phoebe said.

"Am I going with you or Cj?" Saphy asked.

"Go with him, keep him company, maybe give some input? " Phoebe asked.

"Ok, we're not fucking though." Saphy said.

"I didn't mean for that at all." Phoebe said.

"Yeah you better keep your hands off our man." Kitty said.

"That's what she plans to do." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah well. She better." Kitty said.

"Oh it's just Saphy, besides, we'll have him tonight for sure." Phoebe replied.

"CJ promise me." Kitty said.

"I promise." I replied.

"Good." She said.
We made our way down the stairs and out of the building, where she took us back up to the roof, from there we made our way over to some shops we had seen earlier.

"Ok I guess we'll go in here and prepay half the data we have, then Kitty and I will spend the other half at the other store." Phoebe said.

"You expect me to spend more on clothes for myself than both of you?" I asked.

"I don't know, maybe Saphy could get a new dress too or something?" Phoebe asked.

"Really?" Saphy asked.

"You know you might as well just tag along with us tonight." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles." I said.

"Not to the dancefloor or the bedroom but, you know what I mean CJ. We're not going to be the only ones from our group there anyway." Phoebe said.

"Eh, fair enough." I said.

"Exactly, now wait here for a moment." Phoebe said before heading inside the store and explaining what we were doing, since we only had one useable data gun.

"Why did she want us to wait out here?" Kitty asked.

"No idea." I replied.

She seemed to transfer the credits and then came back outside.

"Ok, he said that should be enough to get you anything they could make for you two, with extra." Phoebe said.

"Now, kiss us both and we'll see you tonight." Phoebe said.

"Right, come here you two." I said as I pulled them close.

"I love you both." I said after kissing their cheeks.

"love you." They happily replied.

"Right, come on Kitty let's find another store." Phoebe said as she took her arm and teleported away.

"And there they go." I said.

"Yep." Saphy agreed.

"Well let's get this over with." I said as I turned towards the store.

"Right." She replied as we headed in together.

"Hello and welcome to Noah Nohemon's custom tailoring. Your friend already paid for you, so. There's some books on that table there you can look through, pick out what you want and I can get it made in the back and we can start from there." The clerk, a devimon of all things, said as we entered. There were pictures on the walls of various digimon dressed up in a variety of outfits. An agumon donning a cap and football jersey, an icemon in a pink dress and a bow on its head, another icemon looking like some sort of street punk from the 90s, a goblimon that looked like it was trying to cosplay as Indiana Jones presumably by complete coincidence, an iceimpmon and a gazimon in a tuxedo, another gazimon in a dress, and several others.

"Is Noah here?" Saphy asked out of curiousity.

"He took the day off, I think he's talking to Amariel the wizardmon, over at bachusmon's. He's one of the ones that figured out how to manipulate the maker machines that made all these shops possible." The clerk replied.

"Did you have a name before all of this?" I asked Saphy.

"Yeah, but I haven't heard it since I was a rookie, ultimates are rare enough they usually don't need individual names." Saphy replied.

"Well, let's see what we have here then." I said as I took a seat on a convenient couch nearby and grabbed one of the books off the table containing pictures of more clothing than I had ever thought possible anything from basic white t-shirts, to biker jackets, to various pieces of what looked like medieval-era leather armor, things that looked like they belonged in a western film, things that looked like they belonged in an adult film, a literal giant potato sack, and a variety of military uniforms with various camo patterning, to business suits , and finally tuxedos which I guess was really more along the lines of what I was looking for, and that was just in a book full of shirts, there was another whole book for pants, on the table, as well as shoes, and another full of hats, wigs, and gloves. 3 copies of each so multiple customers could look through them at once. A few of them had interesting descriptions, some seemed to be pulled directly from an online retailer from the host world, some were in an unknown language, and others seemed to be written by a digimon without a full understanding of human clothing. Most lacked descriptions other than a generic "shirt, cotton", "shirt, cotton, sleeveless." With many having the same description but depicting an obviously different garment. All pictures were of white clothes but most had several basic color or pattern options available, which were apparently just examples as a disclaimer at the beginning said they could be ordered in any pattern or color.

"Any ideas?" Saphy asked.

"I think you'd look good in black, or maybe a dark blue, or dark green, anything else would probably clash pretty bad with your skin." I said.

"I meant for you." She replied.

"Pheebles likes green, Kitty likes red, but Phoebe despises it so."

"Brown?" Saphy asked.

"Nobody likes brown." I said.

-meanwhile, in a similar store further down the platform-

"You're going with red?" Phoebe asked.

"I like it." Kitty replied.

"I don't like red." Phoebe replied.

"Your eyes are red." Kitty replied.

"Yeah, but only my eyes, and I don't have control over that." Phoebe replied.

"You could color them." Kitty said.

"No." Phoebe said.

"Have you tried using nail polish?" Kitty asked.

"Have you? It doesn't work like that." Phoebe said.

"How do you know?" Kitty asked.

"Well go try it on yourself and see what happens." Phoebe suggested.

"But I like my eyes." Kitty said.

"Then just trust me it won't work. Anyway, why don't you go ahead, get in the changing room, digivolve and get undressed?" Phoebe said.

"I can get undressed faster in this form." Kitty said.

"Well then do that." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"Not out here, in the changing room." Phoebe said.

"I know, calm down." Kitty replied.

"I'll pick out a dress for you." Phoebe said.

"I can pick out my own." Kitty replied.

"I'll give you options how does that sound?" Phoebe said.

"Um, ok." Kitty replied.

"Can I get like a dark green tuxedo or do we not have enough money?" I asked.

"You have enough, don't worry about that." The devimon replied.

"Is there a specific shade of green you want or? Cause the examples in the book are just examples like it says on the first page we really can make them in any color or pattern you can imagine." The devimon said.

"just a dark green, matching tie, a white undershirt should be good." I said.

"You got an rgb code?" Devimon asked.

"Um." I was taken aback for a moment.

"Did you read the section about RGB color codes?" Devimon asked.

"Oh, um, try, 0, 50, 0." I said.

"OK." Devimon asked.

"If it's not right does it still cost anything?" I asked.

"No, we can recycle the materials it's no problem. We can just feed it back into the machine and use it to make the next one." The Devimon replied.

"Thread count? Did you pick out a specific style from the book or you need to go back and look?" The devimon asked.

"I'll go back and look." I replied.

"Did you want to get matching pants too?" The devimon asked.

"Yeah, the whole thing." I replied.

"Go and pick some out too then." Devimon replied.

"Right." I said.

"Saphy you make a decision yet?" I asked as I returned to the couch.

"I never knew there were so many different dresses." She said.

"You and me both." I replied.

"I need to measure your boobs apparently." Phoebe said as she held one of those measuring ribbon things.

"Really?" Kitty asked.

"Unless you want that gazimon at the counter to do it. They might be a boy, I can't tell." Phoebe said.

"Or do you know what your measurements are?" Phoebe asked.

"No clue." Kitty replied.

"Ok then hold still." Phoebe said.

"How'd you learn how to do this?" Kitty asked.

"The gazimon taught me." Phoebe said.

"That quickly?" Kitty asked.

"Mhm, I learn fast." Phoebe said.

"Did he measure yours?" Kitty asked.

"No, they just showed me, now hold still quit jiggling them." Phoebe replied.

"Atleast you're not going to have to explain to them that yours can grow so the top part of your dress needs to be more elastic." Phoebe said.

"It does?" Kitty asked.

"The only more embarrassing thing than that happening is them popping out so yeah, it does." Phoebe said.

"You got anything for me to try on yet?" Kitty asked.

"No, I needed your measurements first." Phoebe said.

"Ok, I think I got them now." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"You know, you do have nice boobs Kitty." Phoebe said with a sigh.

"Hey, no touching. Not when Cj isn't here." Kitty said as she covered her nipples.

"Fine." Phoebe replied.

"And why can't I pick my own?" Kitty asked.

"Have you ever worn anything aside from your normal outfit, your rings , and that bikini?" Phoebe asked.

"My uniform." Kitty replied.

"Yeah well, I try to wear a different dress every day if I can." Phoebe replied.

"So?" Kitty asked.

"I want to try to open your mind to some new looks, don't worry, you're going to look great and I'll still give you some choices to make." Phoebe said.

"Ok, I trust you, I guess." Kitty said.

"There you go, good Kitty Kat." Phoebe replied before leaving the changing room.

"It's a bit tight and maybe a bit too dark, try 0,60,0 next time." I said.

"Ok will do." Devimon said.

"Can I try one of these in black?" Saphy asked as she brought the book with her to the counter.

'"We've never had a ranamon or a human in here before, for that matter, so it might take a bit to get everything sized appropriately." Devimon explained.

"Ok." Saphy replied.

"All digimon of the same species are the same size?" I asked.

"No, but they're usually within the same ball park. Some are a few centimeters taller than others for example, anyway, I'll go get these made, you wait here." Devimon said.

"This might take a while." I said once he was out of earshot.

"We're not in a hurry are we?" Saphy asked.

"No, not really." I replied.

" What's rgb code?" Phoebe asked.

"It's just a basic color code, 3 numbers from 0 to 255, the first is the red value, second is green value, and third is blue value. All zeros is black, all 255s is white. So for example bright red is 255,0,0." The gazimon behind the counter explained.

"So if I want green it would be 0,255,0?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, but that is literally the brightest green." The gazimon replied.

"So if I wanted to try like a purple ish color?" Phoebe asked.

"We could start at 90,0,90." The gazimon replied.

"And then dark blue?" Phoebe asked.

'0,0,90." Gazimon replied.

"And let's go and try black too." Phoebe said.

"Allright." Gazimon replied.

"And, arceus, we'll try some dark red ones too." Phoebe said.

"And you want her to try these three?" Gazimon asked.

"Mhm." Phoebe said.

"That's twelve different dresses then." Gazimon said.

"Right." Phoebe said.

"It's good we can recycle the ones you don't want." Gazimon said.

"Mhm." Phoebe agreed.

"This might take a while." The gazimon replied as they headed into the backroom.

"You have makeup and nail polish too right?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah we can get to that in a bit. It's in the accessories book." The gazimon replied.

"It's still just a little bit tight, like it needs to be one size bigger or so." I said as Saphy walked out of the changing room wearing the black dress she ordered a few minutes ago.

"Huh…." I said as I saw her.

"Do I look good?" She asked.

"I think it needs to be just a bit smaller." Devimon said.

"You think so?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah hold on a second I'll get it to make another one." Devimon said.

"I can tell right now if he can get the size right, you're going to be smoking." I said.

"You think so?" She asked.

"Yeah I might have to keep you away from Pheebles actually." I said.

She blushed at me.

"Don't worry about it, she'll always love you more than me." Saphy said.

"I know, but she'll still bug me constantly about you and who knows what else." I said.

"Ok Kitty I got a bunch of dresses for you to try on." Phoebe said as she draped them over the changing room door.

"Hey some of these are purple." Kitty said.

"Mhm." Phoebe replied.

"I like purple." She replied.

"Good you can start with those if you want." Phoebe replied.

"Ok." Kitty said.

"I also got some red ones for you." Phoebe said.

"Ugly red, that's like old blood stain on the carpet red." Kitty said.

"Yeah well it's also not "make us look like we're at a Christmas party when we're standing together" red. Phoebe said.

"What's Christmas?" Kitty asked.

"Cj never told you?" Phoebe asked.

"It never came up." Kitty replied.

"Well, ask him to explain it to you sometime then." Phoebe said.

"This feels just about right." I said.

" Ehhhhh, I don't know, I think you'd be better in black then green." Saphy said.

"Well, they are usually black, but Pheebles likes green." I said.

"You said I should go with black." Saphy said.

"Yeah and you look great. Though you should probably get some fancier shoes to match." I said.

"Yeah I was thinking that too. I might try a green one though too." Saphy replied.

"Rgb code?" The devimon asked.

"Um…just try 0,60,0 again." I said.

"You don't want to match?" The devimon asked.

"We're not a couple." Saphy said.

"You realize that it's basically going to be imperceptibly lighter than mine." I said.

"Oh well." Saphy replied.

"Ok I'll go get one made right away." Devimon said.

"So what kind of shoes should I get?" Saphy asked.

"I don't know." I said.

"I thought you were the foot guy." Saphy said.

"Yeah well, I know fuck all about shoes and don't say that in public. I haven't even worn a tux since oh fuck probably since Phoebe and I's second wedding." I said.

"How many times did you marry her?" Saphy asked.

"Just the one time, but we've had like four weddings basically." I said.

"Why?" Saphy asked.

"We had a priest marry us while the disaster was going on, then when that was over my parents wanted a ceremony, then her and her parents that I didn't even know existed at that time wanted a ceremony at the gardevoir city, then we hadn't seen each other for a hundred years so we both wanted a ceremony, and she also wanted to use that as an opportunity to make Kitty our virara.

"Ok, um, is that normal?" Saphy replied.

"No, no it's not." I said.

"Anyway I guess it wouldn't hurt for me to get some nicer shoes as well." I said.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah I gotta get like the full outfit." I said.

"You think I should get nail polish too?" Saphy asked.

"If you can put it on yourself, I don't know where Phoebe went." I said.

"You wouldn't help me with it?" Saphy asked.

"Sorry, but I'm not comfortable with that and Pheebles probably wouldn't be ok with it, and I know Kitty wouldn't be." I said.

"Fine, I'm pretty sure I can do it myself then anyway." She replied.

"Wait did you want to be in this form or your other one?" I asked.

"Well it's a bit late to change it now isn't it?" Saphy asked.

"Well we have time." I said.

"Nah, I'll just stay in this form." Saphy replied.

"Ok." I said.

"Unless you think I'd be cuter?" Saphy asked.

"Eh, I kinda like what I'm seeing right now just fine." I said.

"Allright then." Saphy replied.

"I still think this red is ugly." Kitty said.

"Yeah I think the purple is better, but that might be because it matches your nails." Phoebe said.

"No this is a lot darker than my nails." Kitty said.

"Well still, same color, different shade." Phoebe said.

"Anyway, you probably know this, but Cj likes blue." Phoebe said.

"I do know that, and I don't hate the blue." Kitty replied.

"And we could get you matching nail polish and." Phoebe said.

"Are you going to be blue too?" Kitty asked, cutting her off.

"Actually there's something I've been wanting to try." Phoebe said.

"What?" Kitty asked.

"You'll see, but it's your turn now." Phoebe said.

"Are you going to get implants?" Kitty asked.

"No, you goofball, just wait and see. Now try on the blue ones." Phoebe said, trying not to laugh.

"Why would I get implants? You know mine expand." Phoebe said.

"I don't know, it'd just be surprising." Kitty said.

"It'd also be a giant pain in the butt and anybody that knows anything about gardevoirs would either know they're fake or think I'm always horny." Phoebe said.

"But you are." Kitty said with a laugh.

"I am not, you goofball. Anyway are you going with the blue then?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, I guess so." Kitty said.

"Ok, now you just have to pick out a style." Phoebe said.

"How?" Kitty asked.

"Well with your boobs the way they are you might want to consider something that can show them off a little bit." Phoebe said.

"Only thing I can say is don't get anything with ridiculous heels. They take awhile to learn how to walk in and they won't be comfortable for you." I said.

"Girls complain about it all the time." I said.

"What girls? Phoebe never wears them." Saphy said.

"Well I meant in like movies and such." I said.

"Oookaaay." Saphy said.

"Like that Final Chase movie where that girl has to chase that terrorist guy down at a party and she ends up going barefoot because she can't keep up with him in heels." I said.

"Yeah I remember that actually." Saphy said.

"So many different shoes." She said as she scrolled through the book.

"Well, my wife has the datagun and I don't know where she went exactly so if you could hold onto it for a bit we could come back tomorrow and pick it up?" I said.

"That should work fine. Or this afternoon maybe?" Devimon said.

":She doesn't want me to see her or our virara until tonight, she's trying to make it special." I said.

"Saphy you ready yet?" I asked.

"It's still drying." She replied.

"What's a virara?" Devimon asked.

"It's complicated." I said.

Saphy came out of the changing room a bit later.

"Aren't you going to wear yours?" She asked.

"I'll change into it tonight, I already know it all fits good, we still got a while until then. You gonna stay dressed like that the rest of the day?" I asked.

"I might wear my coat over it." She said.

"That'd be wise." I said.

"Also can we get another coat like this for our friend ?" Saphy asked.

"Sure, I just need a few more minutes." Devimon said as he took her coat into the back with him.

"Don't let Ninjamon see you like that I don't know what he'll do." I said.

"Really?" she asked.

"You know he already crushes on you and now you're a total bombshell." I said.

"Yeah, I'll try to stay away from him. He likes all the girls though, not just me." Saphy said.

"Yet he keeps saying your name in particular." I said.

"Yeah well, atleast I can keep him from bothering the others." Saphy said.

"Fair enough." I said.

We waited just a few minutes more before Lillymon's coat was ready. Then we took it and headed out.

"So what do you wanna do now?" Saphy asked as we made our way back to the hotel.

"Find some way to kill the afternoon that doesn't involve sex." I said.

"How are you going to do that?" Saphy asked.

"Eh, I guess I'll start off by seeing what Zari is up to." I said.

"Really you are going straight to her?" Saphy asked.

"I'm not really sure who else to go to, she's pretty much my closest friend after Pheebles and Kitty." I said.

"What about Henry and Claire?" Saphy asked.

"I don't know where they went." I said.

"Maybe this whole staying separate until we get there was a bad idea." I said a bit later.

"You don't think you can make it anymore?" Saphy asked.

"No, I know I can, I'm just in for what could possibly be a really boring time." I said.

-meanwhile-

"Kitty come on you don't want your boobs popping out I can't get it any looser than this." Phoebe said.

"You see this is why I stuck with my normal clothes, because they fit perfectly." Kitty said.

"Well we can try a different style that might be more comfortable for you." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

-a couple hours later-

"I'm ready." Kitty said.

"Ok I'm coming in." Phoebe replied.

"well?" Kitty asked.

"Are you comfortable?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah." Kitty replied.

"Ok, I think we finally found you a dress. Now we need to get you some shoes and we'll just get your nails done before tonight ok?" Phoebe asked.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"Oh and um….maybe a bra wouldn't hurt." Phoebe said.

"How come?" Kitty asked.

"Um….your nipples are kind of poking through." Phoebe said.

"Oh…..yeah ok go get me one." Kitty said.

"Yeah I'm on it." Phoebe replied before closing the door and heading back to the counter.

-several minutes later-

"See if this fits." Phoebe said.

"Only one?" Kitty asked.

"You wear it under your dress, it doesn't matter what it looks like that much." Phoebe said.

"Well it's black anyway, so that's not bad." Kitty said.

"And now I get to walk you through the wide world of shoes." Phoebe said.

-another hour later-

"Ok now, those shoes should do, now I think it's finally my turn?" Phoebe asked.

"I hope so I'm getting tired of this room." Kitty said.

"Cj is probably done by now." Phoebe said.

"I miss him already." Kitty said.

"Well think how much fun it will be when we see him at bachusmon's tonight and show him our new looks." Phoebe said.

"I wanna see him now." Kitty said.

"It's only a few more hours until sunset, you won't have to wait too long. This is hard for me too, but it will be worth it, Anyway are you going to wear that dress all day or you know, it's going to be awhile yet, you could change to your normal clothes until tonight." Phoebe said.

"ok." Kitty said before changing form.

"Or yeah you could do that, good thing we didn't paint your nails yet." Phoebe said.

"We can do that before we go to bachusmon's right it won't take long?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah we could, and maybe we could change your hair too." Phoebe said.

"What's wrong with my hair?" Kitty asked.

"Nothing, I just want to see what it'd look like if you wore it down." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty said.

"Now go tell the gazimon we're buying these I already got a dress and shoes to try on myself, I know what I want, so this shouldn't take long." Phoebe replied.

"Right." Kitty said as she collected her new clothes and left the changing room.

"I'm buying these." She said to the gazimon.

"Ok. I can get you a sack." The gazimon replied.

"Thankyou." Kitty said as she put her new clothes in the sack so they'd be easier to carry.

"Also when she comes back out tell her I went to see Cj." Kitty said before leaving, seeing the opportunity to escape.

"Right." The gazimon replied.

She headed over to the store we were at, but we had already left at that point so she ended up sprinting until she caught up with us further south along the platform as we tried to find a bridge to safely crossover the rails, something we didn't have to worry about on the way over here.

"Cj!" She yelled when she saw me.

"Kitty Kat? What are you doing? Where's Pheebles?" I asked.

"Um. I kind of ditched her Ehehe." She said as she caught with us.

"Hehe, really? You're going to be in trouble." I replied, teasingly.

"Not that much trouble." She said.

"What's in the bag? new clothes?" I asked.

"Mhm, you got some too?" She replied.

"Yeah in my own bag. Saphy is wearing hers actually." I said.

"I just have my normal clothes in mine." Saphy said.

"I see." Kitty replied.

"Am I cute or what?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, pretty cute. Maybe enough that Phoebe will want a night with you and I can get CJ to myself." Kitty said.

"I think that's pretty wishful thinking." Saphy said.

"Oh Kitty kat." I said with a sigh. " as much as I adore the fact you did this just to see me, you should probably get back to Pheebles. You don't want to ruin tonight do you?" I asked.

"No." She replied.

"Allright then, love you babe, I'll see you in that new dress tonight ok." I said as I hugged her.

"mmkay, love you." She replied.

"I don't want to let go." I said.

"Me neither I ran all the way over here not sure if I would find you or not but then I got your scent from the store and now here you are." She replied.

"But I have to, for now." I said with a sigh.

"Awwe.." Kitty moped.

"But I think Phoebe is right it will make it a bit more romantic when we're allowed to meet again." I said.

"I hope so." She said.

"Where are you going anyway?" She asked.

"Back to the hotel, not sure where else to go at the moment." I replied.

"Maybe we'll end up there too, I don't know." Kitty said.

"I don't know what she's planning either, but we should stick with it. I love you Kitty, but you should get going." I said, not knowing how much time she had until Phoebe realized she ditched her.

"Ok." She replied.

"And tell her you left too, or she will find out later for sure." I said.

"Awwe, but she might get mad." Kitty said.

"She won't blow up at you I promise, she'll understand." I said.

"If you say so, see you tonight hopefully." Kitty replied before trudging away.

"Love you babe." I said.

"Love you." She replied.

"You know sometimes I do regret not marrying her." I said to Saphy once she was out of earshot.

"But then what would your situation be with Phoebe now?" Saphy asked.

"They'd both be my wives I guess." I said.

"Would she let that happen?" Saphy asked.

"You mean Kitty? She'd have to, I would've made it a condition on us being married." I said.

"Why didn't you?" Saphy asked.

"Because I didn't know how Phoebe would react, and, as wonderful as Kitty is, I didn't want to risk losing her." I said.

"She must really mean a lot to you." Saphy said.

"You have no idea." I said.

"You love her more than I ever could." Saphy said.

"You haven't known her nearly as long. Anyway enough drama, let's just find our way back to the hotel." I said.

"Right." Saphy replied.

It was going to take us longer to get back than it took us to get there since we couldn't jump from roof to roof anymore, and the perspective was different enough from the ground that we were also a bit confused as to where the hotel actually was. Anyway once we made it back we went our separate ways. I ended up taking a shower, not because I needed one, but I needed to kill some time and I was quickly getting bored. After that I took the long and arduous journey up the stairs to the roof, only to find that everyone that was there earlier had left. So back down the stairs I went.

I headed over to Zari's room and knocked on the door a few times, she didn't answer so I figured she must have left to do some exploring. Saphy heard me and emerged from her room.

"I think everyone left." Saphy said.

"So we're the only ones here?" I asked.

"I think so, except for Lilly and Violet, they're still boinking." Saphy said.

"You checked?" I asked.

"I had to give her her new coat." Saphy replied.

"Have they been doing that since we got here?" I asked.

"No idea." Saphy replied.

"They'll wear themselves out eventually." I said.

"At this rate, yeah." Saphy agreed.

"Well I guess there's not much reason to stay here then, I'm gonna go back out there, you want to tag along?" I asked

"Might as well, unless you want to join them?" She replied.

"Can't, made a promise to Kitty." I said.

"You think Phoebe would get mad if I joined them?" Saphy asked.

"You want to join them, join them, I'll just head out there by myself then." I said.

"Ehhhh, nah I'll stick with you for now." She said.

"Ok then let's go." I said.

"You think we'll run into anyone out here?" She asked a few minutes later after we left the hotel again.

"I don't know, you know how big this place is." I said.

"What if we bump into your ladies?" Saphy asked.

"Phoebe can see me coming she'll probably just teleport away from us. Then again it depends on how committed she is to her plan." I said.

"Do you think they'll end up back at the hotel?" Saphy asked.

"I have no idea." I replied.

"Where are we going?" She asked.

"I don't know, any shops you wanna visit, did you take up any hobbies while we were separated?" I asked.

"I guess I can't go swimming in these clothes." Saphy said.

"Wouldn't be the wisest idea. Surely there's something else though right?" I replied.

"You wanna fight?" She asked.

"That also wouldn't be good for your dress, it won't heal like your normal clothes." I said.

"Yeah, if you could touch me." Saphy replied.

"Yeah well, I don't need Pheebles freaking out about me getting hurt again so." I said.

"Do you have her camera?" Saphy asked.

"I think she keeps it in her purse so, no." I said.

"Awwe, we could have messed around with that." Saphy replied.

"We could probably go back to that store and get you one." I said.

"Nah, it's ok." She replied.

"Weird seeing you two alone together." Henry said.

"What's with the dress?" Claire asked.

"We got new clothes for Bachusmon's tonight." Saphy said.

"Where have you guys been?" I asked.

"We got some actual real food to eat, way better than that icecream shop we went too last time, I can't wait until we get back to a real world, then we checked out a few shops and now we're just heading back to the hotel. Where's your ladies?" Henry replied.

"I think they're still shopping for clothes. For tonight, atleast Phoebe is I think Kitty got hers already." I replied.

"Why aren't you there with them?" Claire asked.

"Phoebe doesn't want to see me until tonight, she thinks it will make it more romantic." I said.

"It kind of does, hey, maybe we should do that." Claire said.

"If you can find a data gun." I said.

"Except we don't have any data to spend." Henry said.

"How'd you get data? " Henry asked.

"We fought IceLeomon for his excess since he doesn't want to digivolve, there might be enough left over for you, you'll have to find Phoebe though cause she has the only useable data gun." I replied.

"And she is?" Henry asked.

"Three platforms in that direction, probably at another clothing store that isn't Noah's, that's the one we went too, so probably one north of there. If she's still there. If she's not I have no idea. Also Noah's has some credit, so maybe you can just go there if we had enough left over and Phoebe didn't think to retrieve it or just hasn't yet." I said.

"Is there anyone back at the hotel?" Henry asked.

"No, that's why we left." I said.

"You haven't seen Zari around?" Henry asked.

"Not for a few hours." I replied.

"Ok, well I guess we'll head over there then, to Noah's." Henry said.

"Good luck. Big sign out front, can't miss it." I replied.

"This is going to be fun." Claire chimed in.

"Now where are we going?" I said with a sigh after they left.

"I don't know." Saphy replied.

"You think there's a toy store?" I asked.

"Why? You want to buy some toys?" Saphy asked.

"Not really, I outgrew toys a long time ago, but maybe there's like a model train display or something we can stair at for a while." I said.

"model trains?" Saphy asked.

"I haven't seen any in forever." I said.

We wandered around for several minutes doing some window-shopping. Their was a bike shop, which was odd because we hadn't yet seen any bike-riding digimon, even though most of the bikes seemed to be made for rookie digimon with the one on display in the window being advertised as being intended for Icemon, a kid sized bike that was way over built and very heavy-looking.

"Hey Cj if you're really that bored you still have my permission to play with Saphy, I won't tell Kitty." Phoebe said to me telepathically, prompting me to scan the rooftops for her.

"Really Pheebles, where are you?" I asked.

"Is she talking to you?" Saphy asked.

"Oh, I guess I said that out loud, yeah, she is, which means she's nearby." I said as she started to scan the rooftops as well.

"Quick looking for me you goofball." Phoebe said.

"I thought we weren't supposed to see each other until tonight." I thought.

"Well you're wearing the same clothes you had since we got up this morning so I guess it doesn't count." Phoebe said.

"Oh, so you can see me and I can't see you?" I asked.

"Mhm, and Saphy really dresses up nice, I'm impressed, we might have to let her join us tonight." She replied.

"Anybody back at the hotel?" Phoebe asked.

"Just Lilly and Violet and they're apparently just going to fuck each other all day." I replied.

"What are you wearing right now?" I asked.

"That's for you to find out tonight silly. Did you get anything for tonight?" She replied.

"Yeah, you'll just have to wait and see. Did you see Henry and Claire? They want to go out tonight too." I said.

"With us?" Phoebe asked.

"I think just on their own, but they want the data gun so they can buy clothes too." I replied.

"I'll go see them after we're done here." Phoebe said.

"Are we done here?" I asked.

"I don't know, Kitty told me she snuck away to see you." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, she did, don't get too upset with her for it." I said.

"I'm not. She says she loves you by the way and we both miss you very much." She replied.

"It's only been a few hours for you and a half hour for her." I said.

"Well still." She replied.

"What are you and her going to do until tonight?" I asked.

"I don't know. We got all we need for tonight, but now we're kind of bored." She replied.

"Same." I replied.

"Lilly and Violet are messing around?" Phoebe asked.

"Yep." I replied.

"You know I've been wanting to play with them." Phoebe said.

"I know. And you know I made a promise to Kitty so." I replied.

"Let me talk to her, we're all kind of bored right now." Phoebe said.

"No Pheebles, no sex, come on, we need to stop relying on it so much." I said.

"You're making me both love you and hate you at the same time." She replied.

"As big as this place is there's gotta be something else to do." I said.

"We could go to bachusmon's early." She replied.

"We could, we could check out other stores. I could do your nails." I said.

"No, I'll do them myself before tonight, you can do them next time. You can't see me until tonight, especially if we can't have sex." She replied.

"Ok, well, I was going to see if we could find a toy store with a model train display." I said.

"Why?" She asked.

"I don't know, just something to do." I said.

"Do digimon play with toys?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, they have a bike shop right here, I don't remember seeing any riding bikes though have you?" I said.

"Maybe we've seen them but we just didn't realize it?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know." I replied.

"Are you still talking to her? Or do you just think that bike is really cool?" Saphy asked.

"Mhm, sorry if it looks like I'm spaced out." I said.

"It's fine, as long as you're not talking about me." Saphy replied.

"We're not, we're just talking about what we're going to do until tonight." I said.

"So she's bored too?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, pretty much. She won't talk to me in person though she's commited to not letting me see her until tonight." I replied.

"Weird." Saphy commented.

"Well she's trying make it all romantic and such." I replied.

"Cj, tell Saphy she looks really cute." Phoebe said.

"She says you look really cute." I said.

"Well thanks, I guess." Saphy replied.

"She says thanks. Anyway Pheebles, we should probably move this along if you don't want to carry this conversation on in person." I thought.

"Ok well in that case Cj, I love you, and we'll see each other tonight." She said.

"Right, love you too my sweet adorable little baby girl." I replied.

"You don't have to lay it on that heavy you big goofy goofball train loving weirdo. " She replied.

"What?" I asked.

"I don't know, I love you, bye." She said before "hanging up".

"Allright, let's see what other stores we can find." I said.

"Conversation over?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, for now." I replied.

"Are we still looking for a toy store?" Saphy asked.

"I don't know it was just a dumb idea, let's just see what's out there." I said.

"Ok." Saphy replied.

It looked like it wasn't going to be a particularly exciting evening.

We weren't entirely aware of it at the time, but the army and most of the civilians were flocking towards Bachusmon's in a sort of frenzied victory celebration so the rest of the town, while not entirely empty, was pretty quiet.

Eventually, while we were wandering up and down the platforms window shopping, we ran into the newbies who were all wearing sunglasses for some reason.

"What's with the sunglasses?" I asked.

"Why are you and Saphy alone together and why is she in a dress?" Illustria asked.

"You like it?" Saphy asked.

"It's allright." Lussy replied.

"It's kind of cute." Kiera chimed.

"So, um, what's with the sunglasses?" I asked.

"A digimon running a shop a few platforms over gave them to us for free, you can get some too if you want. Now why are you and Saphy wandering around together?" Lussy asked.

"And what's with the dress?" Selenia chimed.

"They're going on a date tonight and she doesn't want him to see her or Kitty until then. I have this dress I just got it, for tonight."

"For their date?" Lussy asked.

"No, I'm just tagging along, I got nothing better to do." Saphy said.

"Doesn't sound like much of a date then." Selenia said.

"He's taking both of them out at once too, weird." Kiera said.

"Well we'll just find her somebody else she can dance with while we're there I guess, I don't know." I said.

"Like another digimon?" Lussy asked.

"Yeah probably, unless any of you want to." I said.

"Aren't there like a bunch of hot tubs on the top floor?" Lussy asked.

"Yep, and a whole other bar, but I think you have to be invited up there, and usually only the goddesses are allowed. I'm guessing Chally told you?" I asked.

"Mhm." Lussy replied.

"Hehe, and what happened after I left?" Chally asked.

" That was a fun night and a really awkward morning." I said.

"Mhm." Saphy agreed.

"But we're not doing that again, if that was what you were wanting to know. Instead I'm just going to take both my ladies out." I said.

"Ok, if you're sure about that." Lussy replied.

"I'm pretty sure." I said.

"Have you found anything else here besides sunglasses?" Saphy asked.

"Is Saphy one of them now?" Kiera asked.

"No she's just kind of tagging along with me as a friend since everyone except the flower girls are out exploring." I said.

"What are the flower girls doing?" Lussy asked.

"Well if you want somebody to play around with right now that's how they're spending their afternoon." I said.

"Are they a couple now or?" Selenia asked.

"I have no idea, we'll have to talk to them when they have their clothes on." I said.

"Well, maybe we could all hang out some time then?" Lussy asked.

"Are you all going to bachusmon's tonight?" I asked.

"I guess." Lussy replied.

"I think pretty much everyone is so we'll probably see you there." I said.

"Allright." Lussy replied.

"How risky is it?" Selly asked.

"Huh?" I asked in return.

"Like are digimon having sex in there all the time or?" Selly clarified.

"Um depends what floor you're on. First floor is basically just a nightclub." Hot tubs are on the top floor, I think seven and 8 are just bedrooms, and I don't know what the other floors are, never been on them." I said.

"We've heard a rumor they just have a perpetual orgy on a few of them." Lussy said.

"It can get pretty wild." I said.

"Maybe you can play around with some digimon." Saphy chimed, somewhat mischievously.

"Maybe." Lussy replied nervously.

"Well you know you're free to indulge in whatever." I said.

"Mhm." Lussy agreed.

"You think we can hang out now or is Phoebe going to get mad?" Lussy asked.

"Eh, we got time sure why not. Where you all going?" I asked.

"Nowhere in particular. We were just heading back to the hotel actually." Lussy replied.

"Well, nobody is at the hotel so, not much reason to go there." I said.

"Ok then where are you going?" Lussy asked.

"We were just looking around at all the shops." I said.

"Did you see a toy store?" Saphy asked.

"What kind of toys?" Lussy asked.

"The appropriate kind." I said.

"I don't remember seeing one, why?" Lussy asked.

"Because maybe they'll have a train display we can watch for a while." Saphy said.

"Really?" Lussy asked, unamused.

"I don't know I'm just trying to come up with a vague objective to kill time." I said.

"And that's what you came up with? Trains?" Selenia asked.

"Aren't there like real trains here?" Kiera asked.

"Yeah, but they're sapient. Watching them for a few hours would basically be stalking right?" I asked.

"I don't know." Lussy replied.

"It would definitely be weird." Selenia said.

"Weirder than watching normal trains?" Chally asked.

"Obviously, watching normal trains isn't really weird at all." Kiera said.

"It isn't? All they do is carry people around the space stations all day." Chally said.

"Yeah, they're pretty boring." Selly said.

"You know they don't just have them on stations." Kiera replied.

"It's the only place I've seen them." Chally said.

"Mhm." Selly agreed.

"How many planets have you been on?" I asked.

"A lot, just not one with a train system." Chally said.

"I've been on stations most of my life." Selly said.

"Well if the only ones you've seen are the ones on the space stations, yeah those are pretty boring. " I said.

On most stations that have them they just run a ring around the station perpetually, using automated controls, on extremely large stations they might have a few point to point shuttles to the inner areas connecting with the stations along the ring, but all those do is go back and forth, as far as trains go, they are about as boring as it gets.

"Yeah. I thought so." Chally replied.

"But, on my world, there was a time where train travel was all the rage. Though eventually cars and aircraft technology caught up." I said.

"A lot of planets are like that." Lussy said.

"Ah well, like I said it was just an idea for something to do to kill time." I said.

"I guess sex isn't on the table?" Lussy asked.

"Right, we're trying not to rely on it you know, we still have some very long bus rides ahead of us so, it's not like there's going to be a shortage anytime soon. We got a whole city to explore there's got to be a way to kill a few hours." I replied.

"Yeah, but probably not as fun." Lussy replied.

"Well yeah, but it will make our date tonight more special." I replied.

"Yeah I guess that is sort of a point. Ok let's see if we can find your little toy trans. " Lussy agreed somewhat teasingly.

"Anything else you want to look for?." I asked.

"Where'd you get your dress?" She asked Saphy.

"Was it Noah nohemon's?" Saphy asked.

"Yeah, but it wasn't free." I replied.

"Where'd you get money?" Lussy asked.

"We used some of Iceleomons extra data that he let us have after Kitty fought him for it." I said.

"She beat him?" Lussy asked.

"It's not that surprising is it?" I asked.

"But he's so much bigger than her." Lussy said.

"That doesn't mean a lot when it comes to digimon." I said.

"Oh well, you wanna see what else we can get for free?" Lussy asked.

"Not really, unless we really need it. We're not here to take advantage of people." I said.

"Is there anything we really need?" Selly asked.

"A bigger bus?" Lussy asked.

"No." I said.

"Or maybe just a second bus?" Lussy suggested.

" That's a really huge ask you know, busses aren't cheep, if they can even make something that big." I said.

"Now that said, if we end up on a dead world and find another bus that's just there for the taking, might as well." I said.

"What kind of world do you think we'll end up on next?" Lussy asked.

"There's no way to know. I'm kind of hoping we'll get sent back to the nexus, but who knows." I replied.

"The nexus?" Saphy asked.

"It's a bizarre railway that seems to go on forever, it connects to multiple worlds via their rail systems. It's a weird place that seems to exist in some sort of infinite void full of dark tree like things. That's where we came from before we ended up here." I said.

"So there's magical trains?" Lussy asked.

"Sort of yeah, his name was Jack, no idea what happened to him or his crew they disappeared shortly after we got here." I said.

"He could talk?" Chally asked.

"Yep, like the trailmon except more normal looking." I replied.

"A talking train? That's not a digimon?" Kiera asked.

"Yep, I don't understand it either, but it is what it is anyway why don't we all start heading in some vague direction instead of standing around?" I asked.

"Ok sure, come on ladies." Lussy replied.

We started to make our way up the platform, taking in the sights.

"Why don't you show us where she got that dress?" Lussy asked.

"Ok, I guess we could head back over there. If you're really that curious." I replied.

-several minutes of walking later-

"Here it is." I said.

"It's a bit smaller than what I was expecting." Lussy said.

"Well everything is custom made in the back, so they don't have a whole lot on display." I replied.

"Henry and Claire are in there." Selly pointed out.

"Yeah they decided to go out tonight too." I replied.

"They have data?" Lussy asked.

"What we didn't spend." I explained.

"That's not really fair." Lussy pointed out.

"Well, I don't know what to tell you. We ran into them first." I said.

"First come first serve." Saphy added.

"Yeah, pretty much." I agreed.

"Well, maybe they'll be generous enough we don't have to pay." Lussy said.

"Maybe we don't really need new clothes." Chally said.

"But maybe it would be nice if we could get some." Lussy said.

"You can try it, I wouldn't count on it though and try not to make our group look like a bunch of entitled assholes." I said.

"We saved their asses they could show some gratitude." Lussy said, really starting to show her bratty side.

She grew up the daughter of a wealthy nobleman, on her planet anyway, so she was just a bit spoiled, but a civil uprising occurred that neither the U.S.C or the Zelusians wanted to get involved in, though her home planet is technically in U.S.C space, her whole family had to flee to survive and she pretty much lost it all. She went off on her own for her own safety, and became a bounty hunter as a means to survive. Surprisingly, she is a competent fighter, maybe not at Zari's level, but definitely more than normal, which is what got our attention.

"Yeah, but still, you didn't even beat half the dark rulers you know, we took down a lot of them without any of you." I said.

"Really?" Lussy asked.

"What's going on here? Considering some shopping at my store." A nohemon I could only assume was Noah spoke with the voice of a crow, though it was the scarecrow itself that appeared to be talking.

"Yes, I just got back from Bachusmon, they are extremely busy today, it took me twenty minutes just to get away from the crowd around the entrance. You are the group of humans they keep talking about yes?" Noah replied.

"He said I need to ask Noah, who is at Bacchusmon's." Lussy said as she came back out of the store.

I was back to walking up the platform alone with Saphy.

"We were starting to wonder if you were going to show up, bachusmon told me to send you upstairs right away." Gazimon said.

We made it to the hot tub floor where all the hot tubs were empty and Bachusmon and the goddesses, along with Kazemon, were all in the bar at the back.

"Well, it's simple really. People have a lot of questions, we need somebody to give them answers, and well, this is one of the best places in the whole city to give them. So when we go back down, we're going to kill the music, and put you all on the intercom." Bachusmon said.

"Ok, but I want Zari up there too." I said, knowing she would be way better at this then me.

"Zari?" Bachusmon asked.

"The one with the red skin." Mervamon clarified.

"Awe, right, well gazimon already knows to be looking out for you humans and sending you up here so she'll turn up eventually right?" Bachusmon asked.

"Yeah, I think so." I replied.

"Good then we'll wait till she shows up, but I want you both ready for when I kill the music." Bachusmon said.

"Right." I replied.

"Allright, that's all I brought you up here for. Kazemon if you could show them out." Bachusmon said.

"Come on you two." Kazemon said as she led us back to the elevator.

"I don't know I haven't found her again since she teleported." Kitty replied.

"Honestly, I don't know, but our main objective is to leave the digital world. At this point, we really can't take a side." I said.

I got up, abandoned my drink and went after my beloved. Who strangely seemed to be doing her best to keep me moving but also stay in my line of sight. She led me up the stairs, to the second floor which had more of a ballroom type atmosphere than the nightclub vibes of the first. It wasn't as busy as the first but there were still quite a few digimon couples slow dancing around. Stranger still, despite how loud the music was on the first floor, once the doors to the staircase closed behind us none of it could be heard. The staircase was quiet. And as soon as we opened the doors to the second, we heard the much softer, calmer, slow dance music playing on this floor, it was almost like we were in a completely different building. We both stopped and decided to take in the sights for a bit until I decided to use the opportunity to gain some ground on her but she saw that coming and we were moving towards the stairs again after circling the whole room for some reason. Further up the stairs, the door to the third floor was an interesting read, advising digimon not familiar with sex to not enter, as well as digimon below a certain age and above a stated size, as there was apparently a perpetual small digimon orgy going on inside, thankfully none of which could be heard through the doors. The fourth floor was similar, but advised digimon below a certain size to not enter as it was a perpetual orgy room for bigger digimon, who would probably squish them. There was no stated size limit, but as you could imagine they'd atleast have to be small enough to fit in the staircase. We did not open either of those doors and just kept heading up the stairs.

"How high up are we going?" I asked, knowing she could hear me as the staircase was quiet.

"Just keep following." Phoebe replied telepathically.

"How elaborate is this game of yours?" I asked.

"You'll see." She replied, again telepathically despite being within earshot.

" Do I need to say anything?" She asked.

We headed up there, working our way through the crowd and joined them on the stage.

"I can't give you an exact answer on that, but we had to fight our way up this huge staircase, and quite a few ended up falling over the edge, and as we progressed further up, it eventually became impossible for us to get to their data clouds before the enemy could. I can't guarantee you that's what happened to them, but that is the truth for most of the ones that didn't return. Our deepest apologies, there wasn't much we could do." I said.

"Wizardmon up front, what's your question?" I asked.

"How many were lost?" A wizardmon asked.

"Here, mervamon made me keep track." Kazemon offered to take the mic, I handed it to her.

"Out of five hundred we led out there, 187 are unaccounted for. Some fell off the staircase like he said, others must have gotten separated and overwhelmed somewhere inside the city." Kazemon said.

"And deusmon is gone?" Bachusmon seized the mic to ask.

"Deusmon is gone, yes." I said, not wanting to mention the lockbox full of data guns, in case some got curious. Zari picked up on this right away and nudged me, I just shook my head at her.

"The data guns?" Bachusmon asked off mic, figures the goddesses must have told him.

"I figured telling them would just draw attention to them, don't worry about it, we fully plan to destroy his code. We just don't know the safest way to do so at this time." I said.

"Ok, I guess that's fair enough." Bachusmon replied as Phoebe teleported onto the stage, still in her disguise.

"Who are you?" Dianamon asked.

"It's Phoebe." She replied.

"Why?" Dianamon asked.

"Um, the devimon in the back?" I said, back on mic.

"Is it possible some just got lost in the frozen city?" He asked.

"Yeah, I guess it is, it's a big city, we didn't search every square inch of it. They might even find their way back. Never lose hope." I replied.

" Why didn't you take the time?" The devimon asked.

Kazemon offered to take the mic again and again I gave it to her.

"Look I flew over the whole city 3 times and rounded up anyone I could see, if we searched all the buildings we would have been there for weeks." Kazemon said.

"But why the hurry?" Devimon asked.

Mervamon took the mic.

"Listen bub, the angels of Ophanimon could have attacked at any moment so we needed to get a move on." She said.

"The angels are back?" Devimon asked.

"We never got attacked, but they are still out there." Mervamon said.

One of Phoebe's shurikens went whizzing by, I followed it to where it struck Angela in the arm as she fired one of her arrows which probably would have hit me if Kitty didn't see it and tackled me.

I saw the arrow buried in the stage.

"We'll talk about it later." I said, realizing she was out of her disguise, but deliberately trying to stay out of my line of sight.

"Take them to the basement!" Bachusmon demanded.

"Don't kill them, seriously don't, we kind of do need them." I said.

"We won't, for now." He replied as Dianamon and Mervamon went to apprehend Angela.

"I can assure they shall join our cause once they see how wicked Ophanimon truly is." Mervamon said over the mic.

"WE need to talk to her, maybe we can sort this whole thing out peacefully?" Phoebe asked.

"She would never surrender her goddesshood like that." Mervamon said.

"How do you know? After all, if she's still around, she has gone into hiding, she's afraid." Phoebe pointed out.

"We've been looking for an oppourtunity to get back at her a lot longer than you have, but she never left Skyland and only a few of us had any chance of getting there. Now Skyland is in ruins and she's apparently somewhere to the south. We have to capitalize on this, it could be our only chance. SO all of you, drink and be merry, because in a few days, we're going back to war!" Mervamon said.

"Ok ok before there's a riot, any further questions?" Bachusmon asked, seizing the mic from her before she riled up the crowd even more. They all seemed excited about the whole thing.

"You allright?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Not used to heels are you?" I asked.

"Nope." She replied.

"Couldn't help but notice when we were dancing. You can take them off if you want" I said.

"No I'll just lay on the bed while you look around for stuff, like you were last time." She said as she lazily pulled herself up onto the bed without actually getting back up.

"I already looked all around the room, I was actually just checking the ceiling." I said.

"Why would it be on the ceiling? That's silly." She asked.

"I don't know I was out of ideas at that point." I said as I laid down beside her not even really sure where to begin with this one.

"I wonder what's with all these balls ?" I asked.

"I don't know, she never told me this part." Kitty replied.

"They are all different colors." I said.

"Are they in the bathroom too?" I asked a bit later, as the bathroom door was closed.

"Go find out." Kitty urged.

"Eh, might as well." I said as I got back up.

A few seconds later-

"Yep, she even filled the sink and shower tub with them, I wonder if she is planning to clean all this up afterwards or?" I said.

"Why?" Kitty asked.

"Because somebody is going to have to at some point, and it's kind of rude to just trash the room like this and she's usually more polite than that, unless she's trying to embarrass me." I replied.

"I think it's an improvement." Kitty said.

"You fell on your face the moment you walked in here." I said.

"I know, but, it's really colorful, if only they could be on the walls too." She replied as I rifled through the tiny ball pit that was once a shower halfway thinking something might have been buried in it, but it turned out that it was really just full of balls.

"What was she thinking with this one?" I asked as I scanned the ball-covered floor.

"It has to be something with the balls." Kitty said.

"Yeah I figured that much, is there like a code on them? Something hidden under them? I've been digging around in the tub there a bit. I didn't find anything, just more balls." I said.

"Is there one that sticks out?" I asked.

"I don't know." Kitty replied.

"Hey wait a minute, this one is purple." I said.

"Really? I like purple." Kitty replied.

"That's great, but do you see any other purple ones?" I asked.

"Um…no." She replied after looking around the room for a moment.

"She wrote a seven and an "A" on it." I said.

"I see a dark yellow one." Kitty said.

"A dark yellow one?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied.

"Where?" I asked.

"Come back out here." She said.

I left the bathroom to see what she was talking about.

"It's in that corner." She said as she pointed to it from the comfort of the bed.

"Kitty Kat." I said.

"Yeah?" She replied.

"That's orange babe." I replied.

"Sorry." She replied.

"Eh, you still found it though." I said.

"What's it say?" She asked.

"Um, twenty two,"B", I said after picking it up." I said.

"Here hold my balls." I said, half-jokingly, as I handed her the purple and orange balls.

"Um, ok." She replied.

"There's got to be more of them in here." I said.

"Right." She replied.

"So we're looking for purple orange and some other odd colors." I said.

"You want to help find them?" I asked.

"I am. I found this orange one." She said.

"You gonna get out of the bed?" I asked.

"Do I have to?" She asked.

"We'd get this done faster if you did." I replied.

"Ok." She replied.

"I'm going to keep looking around in the bathroom, you can look around out here this time." I replied.

"Fine." She replied.

And so we spent the next few minutes looking around for oddly colored balls that stuck out from the rest, which ended up being purple, orange, pink, and teal, among all the red, blue, green, and yellow ones. All of them had a letter and a number written on them in what looked like black marker. Once we had found quite a few of them, simply putting them in numerical order revealed a message.

"Twenty one, another room number. The day we were at that beach in Japan." I said.

"Fuck I don't remember what day it was." I said.

"What's japan?" Kitty asked.

"It's a country. We went there once, a lot of weird stuff happened, fuck that was where we finally killed Gengar." I said.

"Gengar?" Kitty asked.

"He was an evil and somewhat psychotic pokémon, it's a really long story. " I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"Here get your shoes back on we gotta go back upstairs." I said.

"Right." She agreed.

"I'll let you hold onto me so you don't fall again." I said.

"Ok. Thanks." She replied.

We made it to room twenty one a minute or so later.

"I remember the beach, I don't remember what the date was though." I said to whoever was waiting on the other side of the door.

"I can't let you in unless you give me the date." Saphy said.

"Yes you can." Phoebe said.

"Really?" Saphy asked.

"He remembers the fun we had, the date isn't that important." Phoebe replied.

"Pheebles are you going to clean up all those balls?" I asked.

"Yeah, don't worry about that Cj, I'll take care of it right now actually. Saphy let them in." Phoebe said.

Once again she teleported out before Saphy opened the door.

"Allright so what's this room's gimmick?" I asked.

"You'll find out in a bit." Saphy said.

"Are you going to fill it with water?" I asked.

"Please no." Kitty pleaded.

"No, I'm going to head back to the party while you try to find the next clue." She said.

"How many more rooms are there?" I asked.

"She doesn't want me to tell you anything." Saphy replied.

"Ok well see you then." I said.

"Bye." She replied before leaving.

We could tell from the size of the door alone this was a room intended for larger digimon, the room was much larger than the others, the ceiling was a lot higher up, the bed was huge and extremely firm, and the bathroom was basically just one big shower. And for some ridiculous reason it had four useless TVs in a row instead of just one large TV. In case we needed more proof that digimon don't understand what TVs are.

"Oh, it's a big digimon room." Kitty said.

"I figured, with the door and everything." I replied.

"It's like the one we ended up in last time." She said.

"Yep. I think we were on a higher floor though." I agreed.

"I don't remember." Kitty replied.

"I don't remember much about that night after we left the hot tubs either." I said.

"I hope this night is even better." She said.

"We'll just have to see how long Phoebe wants to drag this out." I said.

"Ok looks like we got all these papers on the bed." I said.

"With words and triangles on them." Kitty added.

"The triangles are words too Kitty Kat." I said.

"Oh…." She replied.

"What's it say? Triangle?" She asked, half-jokingly.

"Looks like we got some kind of word puzzle, she's cranking up the difficulty." I said.

"Great so we're going to be doing this all night." Kitty said.

"I don't think she'd make it that difficult, I mean she wants us to succeed." I said.

"Does she though?" Kitty asked.

"If we take too long she'll probably give in." I said.

"Then why bother with this then?" Kitty asked.

"Because I love her and she went through a lot of effort to put this together and just sitting around and waiting is boring." I said.

"Hmm, these two pages say the same thing except the last word." I pointed out.

"But one is in triangles ." Kitty said.

"Yeah. There you can learn a bit of gardevoirian too." I said.

"There's no way I'm going to remember this." Kitty said.

"Ah well, it was worth a shot. Anyway, I guess the different words somehow form part of the answer." I replied.

"Ok so what are they all then?" Kitty asked.

"Let's get that sorted out." I said.

-several minutes later-

We came up with a list of seemingly random objects.

Tree, stick, river, boy, girl, water, fire, snow, house, sun, moon, stars, grass, armor, clouds, berries.

"Well, I'm lost." I said, not seeing how to make anything of this whatsoever.

"Sorry I forgot an important piece. Here." Phoebe said from behind me.

She teleported away again before I could see her but left behind another piece of paper on the floor.

"Ok, what's this then?" I asked as I saw it and picked it up.

"I don't know." Kitty said.

"That's ok, I don't either." I replied.

"What the heck Pheebles?" I asked as I read the page.

"What?" Kitty asked.

"Ok so we match the word to the picture and then the number on the picture…..and…..she drew a stick figure with a penis…..really Pheebles?" I asked.

"I know your listening in." I said a bit later.

"And that one has boobs." Kitty said as she came over to see for herself.

"Yep." I replied.

"And then each of those numbers represents a character in this key chart and then apparently that string of numbers on the bottom is the answer. She got really complicated with this one." I said.

-a few minutes later-

"Come to the second floor north bar." I said as I solved it.

"Awe she probably wants to dance." I said a bit touched.

" Is that the bar the no kissing guy was at earlier?" Kitty asked.

"I think he was at the south one. Come on let's go." I said.

We headed down there to the bar where she was waiting, still in her disguise.

"Are you even In there?" I asked.

"Of course I am." She replied.

"Atleast I can still hear your cute voice." I said.

"Well Kitty Kat I want my husband back now if that's ok." Phoebe said.

"OK." Kitty replied.

"What's the question this time?" I asked.

"You didn't take the stamina drink yet?" Phoebe asked.

"No I did not, and it was probably for the best.' I said.

"Yeah, probably." She said.

"You still wanna dance with me?" She asked.

"If you come out of that silly disguise." I said.

"I will, then we'll dance, then you'll take that drink and we'll head upstairs." She said.

"With me?" Kitty asked.

"You can join us after one round ok? I let you have one alone with him I want one too." Phoebe asked.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

And if this stuff works like I think it does we're going to have a lot of rounds tonight." Phoebe said.

"Is that ok Cj?" She asked.

"That sounds perfect." I said. "Now show me what you've been hiding from me all night."

"Close your eyes." She said.

"Kitty you don't have too you've already seen me." Phoebe said.

"I want to anyway." Kitty said.

"Ok." Phoebe replied.

"No more tricks Pheebles." I said.

"Of course not, you can open your eyes now." Phoebe said.

I did so, slowly, not really knowing what to expect.

"You dyed your hair." I said.

"Yeah it's black now, you like? It took a lot of dye, like a lot." She said.

As a gardevoir her hair is thicker and more brush-like than a human's, though it is still fun to play with. It is also why all gardevoirs of both genders seem to have perfect hair.

"I think I could get used to it. Fuck you're so beautiful Pheebles, I really missed seeing you." I said.

"And her dress?" Kitty asked.

"It's nice. I kind of expected you to go with green." I said.

"Then we would match and it would be cute and everything. But I went with black to match the hair." She replied.

"So now you're my little monochrome baby?" I said.

"Mhm, for a while atleast." She replied.

"That's really cute." I said.

"Now let me hug you." I said as I playfully gave her a squeeze.

"Cj. I wuv you too." She said with a laugh.

I playfully kissed her a few times and then we got lost in eachother's eyes.

"Ok ok, Slowdown naughty boy, we're not back at the room yet." She said.

"What?" She asked.

"I've no idea I just can't take my eyes off of you for some reason, you sure you're not using your powers?" I asked.

"I'm sure." She replied.

"I think I'm going to go down to the other floor where the music is faster, if you just want to be alone." Kitty said.

"Ok, I guess I'll come get you when we're ready, don't go back to the hotel I really want you with us ok?." Phoebe said.

"Yeah and don't get completely wasted babe." I added.

"Right." She said as she walked away.

"Love you." She replied.

"See you later sister." Phoebe said.

"See you." Kitty replied.

"And now we're alone, like old times." Phoebe said after she left.

"Yep." I replied.

"I never feel alone with you at my side though baby girl." I said.

"This date has definitely been an interesting one." I said.

"Let's get a drink and then we'll do some dancing." She said.

"Stay away from the south bar though the bartender is kind of a prick." I said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"He went off on Kitty and I for kissing." I said.

"I don't know." I replied.

"So are Zari and the newbies still here or did they head back to the hotel?" I asked a bit later.

"They are partying on the first floor, I don't know where Saphy went, but I bet she's there too and IceLeomon is dancing with his wives over there." She replied.

"Oh, I didn't see them." I said.

"You were too busy focusing on me." She said, teasingly.

"Yeah that's probably true." I agreed.

"Fuck I love you." I said after a brief period of silence.

"Love you, always and forever." She replied.

"Bartender is busy." I said, realizing we were still waiting to be served.

"Yep." She replied.

"I hope I didn't ruin your fun time with Kitty earlier." She said a bit later.

"Nah we still had some pretty good sex after you left, but why were you there?" I replied.

"I over reacted and thought you were cheating on me for a moment, I didn't know you hadn't had your one round with her yet." She explained.

"Well Zari did kiss me on the cheek." I said.

"That wasn't your fault though. Honestly I don't know what to think of her." She replied.

" Well, why don't we get you and Kitty settled a bit more and then if she's still single by then and we still feel the same way . . . maybe." I said.

"That's a big maybe." Phoebe replied.

"I know." I said.

"What do you have for wine?" Phoebe asked.

"All of them." The bartender replied.

"Um, Cj whats the human world thing that taste like rawstberrys again?" She asked.

"Strawberries?" I said, caught somewhat off guard.

"Brand?" The devimon asked.

" I don't know, um, surprise me." She said.

"Sure thing mam." The devimon replied before walking away.

"Strawberry wine, seventeen." I sang.

"What?" She asked.

"It's an old love song. I don't know the rest, they had a commercial of a cd collection with it on it when I was a kid and that's what I remember it from." I said.

"That'd be awesome if they played it here, it's a slow dance song and well, you were seventeen when we first met weren't you?" I said.

"Mhm." She replied.

"You crying baby?" I asked.

"Just think of all the time that's passed since then and we're still in love." She said as she hugged me tight.

"Yeah. I'm never letting you go baby, ever. " I said as I hugged her back.

"With all those questions you must have been thinking about that all night haven't you?" I said as I continued to hold her.

"Mhm." She replied with tears in her eyes.

"Oh Pheebles, I'm still all yours you know?" I said.

"When we get our drinks." She said.

"Especially if they start staring that means it means more." She said.

"Your drinks." The bartender said, causing us to separate.

"Well that didn't last as long as I hoped." Phoebe said.

"Eh, we got the whole night to snuggle." I said.

"True." She said seeming a bit unsure.

We left the bar and found an empty booth on the west side of the room.

"To our love." I said with a smile, proposing a toast.

"Cheers." She happily replied.

"So you have dark blue toes tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah I thought about black, but I know you like blue, so I just put both together." She replied.

"Ok." I replied.

"You can play with them later." She said.

"I know, but I want to dance with you first, you know there's more to romance than just sexual intimacy." I said.

"I know and Cj, I want this to be the most romantic night we've had in a while. You know we've saved atleast two entire universes, we deserve to celebrate a little." She replied.

"I already spent some time celebrating with her, Pheebles, you know she means a lot to me, but I'm still yours at the end of the day, you know that and you know I make sure she knows that. "Mom liked it, but she never let me try. And when we visited neither of us were drinking anything so I didn't ask about it then either." She added a bit later.

"Yeah because that one night we had in japan that we don't even remember put us off alcohol." I said.

"Anyway I got, about half a beer left." I said.

"Eh, feels like more of a beer night besides, Kitty tried to order one earlier, bartender didn't know what she was talking about. Didn't we just teach him how to make the splacht extract not the drink? " I asked.

"I dunno." She cutely replied.

"So when did you start drinking?" She asked a bit later.

"When I was in the U.S.C, hanging out with classmates during training and such. Sometimes Ronnie came too of course" I said.

"Hell there was a bar on the Apocalla too, in the cafeteria they only served those who were off-duty though, except for one guy whose species was naturally alcohol dependent. He could drink hard liquor like anyone else would drink water, it was insane, and he wouldn't even get drunk off of it. It literally rains a form of alcohol on his home planet on a regular basis and they have entire lakes that are alcoholic and the whole place of course smells like booze. It's crazy." I said.

"That does sound crazy." Phoebe said.

"Yeah there's a lot of weird planets out there." I said.

"Fuck he died like 30 years ago." I said.

"Awwwe." Phoebe said.

"It happens Pheebles, you know it, I know it, I bet you watched several of the people you went to for help to find me get old and die too." I said.

"Yeah, a few. I had them under mind control though, I didn't really get attached to them." She said.

"I think angemon is to blame, he must've convinced her to go along." She said a bit later.

"Really? She taught him about sex though and she's a higher level." I asked.

"Well still. I thought she was ok with it all. And well. We haven't interacted much with angemon yet, but we need him to get to Ophanimon." Phoebe said.

"I guess we shouldn't have let them spend so much time alone." I said.

"I don't know. I think Zari is talking to them now actually." Phoebe replied.

"I think she mentioned that to me too." I said.

"Then again it's not really fair, I don't think she's ever worn heels before has she?" Phoebe asked.

"Nope, it's pretty hard to convince her to wear anything, but her default clothes. She doesn't like the inconvenience of actually having to dress herself." I said.

"So it's not really a fair judgement then?" Phoebe said.

"Nah, it's fair, you know, she's a good dancer, but she's also always been a bit of a kluts." I said.

"Yeah, ok, I guess." She replied.

"You know that room you filled with balls? She tripped almost immediately after we entered." I said.

"She's not mad at me for that is she?" Phoebe asked.

"Nah, she's allright." I said.

"How well does she hide her anger?" Phoebe asked.

"Not very well, she rarely gets angry though, just disappointed, if she is upset with you you'll know." I said.

"But nothing, you love her, and she very obviously loves you, you're both in love with eachother." She said.

"And I still missed you while I was alone with her all those years." I said.

"And then there's Zari." Phoebe said.

"Well I'm obviously more attached to you both more than her." I said.

"Well we've been over this before let's get you and Kitty sorted out first then we'll see about her." I said.

"Right." She agreed.

"Maybe she'll have moved on by then." I said.

"Pheebles, we need to draw a line somewhere, you know that." I said.

It didn't taste like orange juice, actually it was more like a fruit punch type thing. That said I didn't even need the drink to feel affection towards my baby girl, so there wasn't much point in waiting for it to kick in.

"You know we're going to run out of condoms and or healing cream." I said.

"You don't need condoms for her she's a digimon. That said I'll get a bunch more from the maker machine so Zari and Chally can play." Phoebe replied.

"And it was for the most part, and it was lovely until we got tired, but the bus gets very very boring if everyone stays in their clothes." Phoebe said.
