85. Magnominominous

-chapter 85-

I got up before the sun came up on sheer will power, Venusmon was still asleep, I gave her what was supposed to be one last kiss goodbye, but that proved to be enough to wake her.

"Are you leaving now?" she asked.

"Yeah, I said I have to head out early." I replied.

"One more?" She asked.

"One more?" I asked with a laugh as she threw the covers off and exposed herself to me.

"Oh hell, come here." I replied before getting on top of her, a few more minutes wouldn't hurt anything.

One more round of sex later I got dressed, kissed Venusmon goodbye, once again feeling just a bit sorry for her, got in Henry's car and tiredly started meandering back to the rest of the group. After what seemed like just a few seconds after the lights of the village disappeared over the horizon I found myself surrounded by a lot of ogremon and musyamon. I was pretty surprised to find out they were all working for Volkheim, who I really never expected to see again. With too many digimon surrounding me than my team of pokémon could deal with, I surrendered without a fight and let them take me hostage, knowing full well they were going to have to deal with Phoebe and Kitty and probably everyone else once they found out.

"I honestly can't believe my luck sometimes, we were just expecting to get any member of your group, not the extradimensional's pet, you'll be sure to get her out here." Volkheim said.

"First off, I'm her husband, not her pet, secondly if she comes out here she's going to kick your ass." I said.

"Not if your life is on the line." Volkheim said.

-Meanwhile-

Phoebe woke up sad and alone, as after the meeting last night she unsurprisingly completely failed to convince Kitty to sleep with her, as she succeeded in irritating both of us. She was hoping I'd come into the bus and make her feel less terrible, but obviously I was busy at the moment. Eventually, she decided to get up and face the day. She went and found Kitty, who was staying in a house with Saphy and Zari who already left for the morning.

"Kitty, have you seen Cj yet?" She asked.

"Leave me alone I'm still mad at you." Kitty said.

"I'm sorry you didn't get to play with him last night, but I didn't want to leave Venusmon like that, what if he just left you?" Phoebe said.

"He wouldn't." Kitty replied.

"I know, but what if?" Phoebe said.

"That's a stupid question! He would never do that!" Kitty said.

"Never mind, so you haven't seen him?" Phoebe said with a sigh.

"Wouldn't he go to you first?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know, he's kind of mad at me too." Phoebe said.

"Maybe because you made him sleep with somebody he didn't want to sleep with?" Kitty asked.

"I didn't make him do anything, I just gave him permission, if he slept with her that's his own choice. I just hope it will keep the goddesses on our side. I mean come on it's kind of worked out for the best hasn't it?" Phoebe asked.

"You know what he's going to tell me when we're alone again, he's gonna say he should have married me." Kitty said.

"Yeah well, why didn't he?" Phoebe asked.

"Because he was waiting for you! While you say you love him but you seem more intent on messing around with other women." Kitty said.

"That's not how it is at all, we share them together. Have I even once been with anyone without his implied permission? I spent last night alone because I didn't have any!" Phoebe said.

"No but you seem to like doing so." Kitty said.

"And you don't?" Phoebe asked.

"Only because I have to, to be with him." Kitty said.

"Maybe I should slow down just a bit." Phoebe relented.

"More than a bit, you perverted weirdo." Kitty said.

"I've been away from home for too long." Phoebe said.

"I never left home." Kitty said.

"What do you mean?" Phoebe asked.

"My home is with Cj." She replied.

"You mean the digivice?" Phoebe asked.

"Who's the dummy now?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah well, you don't have kids so, it's different for you. You don't have to worry about what will happen to them if you don't make it back." Phoebe said.

"Yeah well. They are Cj's kids too, and he's not going all crazy like you are." Kitty said.

"Arceus, you're right." Phoebe relented.

"Uh huh." Kitty replied.

"You really love him that much?" Phoebe said.

"Uh huh." Kitty replied.

"Sorry you know I can't read you." Phoebe said.

"Do you really need to, to see that?" Kitty replied.

"I'm just used to relying on it that's all." Phoebe replied.

"So, will you stop being mad?" Phoebe said.

"I guess." Kitty said.

"I knew he picked you for a reason, love you sister." Phoebe said as she hugged her.

"Mhm, now get off of me! You smell weird." Kitty replied.

"Now I just have to defuse Cj." Phoebe said.

"Shouldn't he really be back by now?" Kitty asked.

"He should've been back before sunup, yes." Phoebe said.

"Do you think you made him that mad that he just stayed there?" Kitty asked.

"He wouldn't risk compromising our whole operation over that." Phoebe said.

"Well I'm going to go look for him, are you coming?" Phoebe asked a few seconds later.

"Duh, can't let you take all the credit for saving his butt." Kitty replied.

"We're not even sure if he needs saving." Phoebe said.

"Why else would he go missing?" Kitty asked.

"Well, Zari is looking for me." Phoebe said as they left the house.

"Maybe she knows where he went?" Kitty asked.

"Let's find out." Phoebe said as she offered her hand.

"Wait you think he went to Zari before either of us?" Kitty asked, suddenly concerned.

"No I'm pretty sure he would've gone to you first actually, since I kind of made him mad." Phoebe replied.

"Really?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah." Phoebe said.

She teleported them both behind Zari so they could catch her by surprise.

"You're looking for me?" Phoebe asked.

"Oh fuck, oh, um, yeah, you've noticed Cj isn't back yet right?" Zari replied, surprised by their sudden appearance.

"Yep, we were just going to go look for him." Phoebe replied.

"How did you know? Were you expecting him to see you?" Kitty asked.

"No, I just noticed Henry's car isn't back yet." Zari said.

"Oh." Kitty replied.

"See told you." Phoebe said.

"You can't hear him at all?" Zari asked.

"No, wherever he is he's too far away." Phoebe said.

"Are you taking the bus?" Zari asked.

"Yeah." Phoebe said.

"What if the angels ask questions?" Zari asked.

"Tell them I made Cj mad so he drove off and we went looking for him since he still hasn't come back yet." Phoebe said.

"Ok, I'll tell the others that's the lie we're going with." Zari replied.

"Right." Phoebe replied.

"You two think you can handle it on your own?" Zari asked.

"I think we got it, if we're not back by this afternoon start looking for us with the mechanorimon." Phoebe said.

"Right, ok." Zari replied.

-meanwhile somewhere in the forest-

"So why do you guys want Phoebe so badly?" I asked.

"Isn't it obvious?" Jeffries asked.

"Not really, I mean she's cute, and she's a good girl, but, trust me she can be a real pain in the ass too." I said.

"She can travel between dimensions can she not? So she can take us to a version of our world that wasn't destroyed by silverwind." An older bubble man that wasn't Volkheim asked.

"Only the same way that you have, by taking a random chance on a portal, we can't travel at will." I said.

"Liar!" He replied.

"I'm not lying, she has powers, but not those kinds of powers." I replied.

"But I've seen it with my own eyes." He replied.

"She can teleport, that's not interdimensional travel dumbass. You mean you've been chasing us all this time, because you thought she could do that of her own volition?" I asked, finding it hard not to laugh.

"Where the hell is the lord doctor? Get the lord doctor over here!" A third bubbleman who up to this point had only been standing there and listening said

"But if that's the truth then, we're all trapped here." Jeffries pointed out.

"Not exactly." I said.

"Elaborate." The old one demanded.

"We might know somebody that can get us out of this place, but where we end up after that is anyone's guess." I said.

"Who?" The older one asked.

"Why the fuck would I tell you that?"

"What's going on?" Volkheim asked.

"He said that the interdimensional isn't actually an interdimensional." The third one explained to him.

"That's preposterous, he must be lying!" Volkheim said.

"He didn't say it like he was trying to lie." The third one said.

"If we could do that why the heck are we still here?" I asked.

"You could have a litany of reasons! You don't have to eat here, you don't age here, you could stay here forever amongst a menagerie of strange creatures most of which are peaceful. Do you have any idea how much people would pay to be able to live in a place like this?" Volkheim said.

"There's also no cars, very few guns, almost no public transport outsde if the trailmon system, very few settlements that could be called anything more than a village, and thank god eating is optional here because there is fuck all options for food that isn't magic cabbages. Oh and every once in a while the world undergoes a massive apocalyptic event that apparently wipes out most of the population and reshapes huge portions of the land." I said.

"It does?" Jeffries asked.

"They call it a reformation event. Most of the world gets reconfigured, some landmarks are destroyed, new ones replace them, you've seen some of the weird stuff here yes? Giant unmovable cars, random appliances, structures that are completely out of place or blatantly defy the laws of physics?" I said.

"Yeah." Jeffries nodded.

"More lies!" Volkheim said.

"I'm not lying, if you ask around enough you'll probably find a digimon that's survived one." I said.

"He's not lying boss, it does happen." One of his many ogremon lackeys spoke up.

"Thankyou." I replied.

"You've got to be kidding me, so we really do need to get out of here." Volkheim said.

"I have no idea when the next one is supposed to happen, could be a few weeks, could be many years, but yeah it'd be nice to not be here when it does." I said.

"That's quite enough out of you, ambush positions everyone." Volkheim said.

That's not going to work." I said.

"Shut up! " Volkheim replied.

Several minutes of being tied to a tree later, Phoebe untied me while Kitty kicked their asses.

"You got kidnapped, by the bubblemen, that's a new one. How did they even know we were here?" Phoebe said.

"No idea." I replied.

"Are you still mad at me? You probably had a good time with Venusmon last night didn't you?" She said.

"Just more annoyed than anything, you know I can't stay mad at you for very long. The sex was ok, she's really beautiful and loving, but." I replied.

"Surrender or I'll shoot him!" Volkheim interrupted.

"Just a second Cj." Phoebe said before her eyes started to glow. She used her powers to wrench the gun away from him, very nearly breaking his arm in the process.

"Somebody get me another gun!" Volkheim shouted in vain as everyone else was focusing on Kitty who was just causing chaos in general, I couldn't see her at the moment as she was behind some bushes along with the Bubblemen and what was left of their army, but I could hear the screams.

"But what?" She asked.

"She's not you or Kitty." I said.

"What about Zari?" She asked.

"Let's not bring her into this right now." I said.

"Ok." She replied as she started to untie me.

"Did you bring the bus?" I asked as she finally got me untied.

"Yeah it's parked pretty far away though." She said.

"Then I guess we're piling into Henry's car." I said.

"Right." She replied.

"NOT THE FACE NOT THE FACE!" An ogremon screamed.

She teleported us over to his car, I got in and started it up while she went to go get Kitty.

They both got in a few seconds later and we got the hell out of there as they still had a pretty substantial amount of digimon supporting them.

"Did they hurt you Cj?" Kitty asked.

"I'm allright babe." I said.

"Phoebe needs to talk to you." Kitty said.

"About what? We kind of already talked it out." I said.

"I'm going to try to focus on us more from now on, ok?" Phoebe said.

"Ok, and you're going to stop blurting out sex talk in front of our friends?" I said.

"I'll try, no promises." She said.

"Pheebles." I scolded her.

"Ok, I'll stop." She said.

"Ok then." I replied.

"So do we get a reward for rescuing you?" She asked a bit later.

"Kitty does, you're the reason that happened to me in the first place." I said.

"If it didn't happen to you it would've happened to whoever we would have sent instead. And we needed to fix that thing with Venusmon, you know it wasn't all my fault we were both drawn in by her at first." She said.

"Yeah, allright as long as it was just a one-time thing." I said after thinking that over for a bit.

"It was." She replied.

"And do we have to stop playing around with the others on the bus? I mean you know how boring it gets." She said.

"Yeah well what happens on the bus stays on the bus ok? Besides when we get out of here we might not need to go on long bus rides anymore." I said.

"True." She replied.

"Cj, are you going to reward her too? She's sorry enough. " Kitty said.

"You sure about that?" I asked.

"Mhm." Kitty said.

"Allright then. Pheebles." I said.

"What?" She asked.

"You have one hell of a sister in her, you know that right?" I said.

"I know I do." She replied.

"Airdramon." Kitty said as 3 of the flying digimon gave chase.

"I'll take them down real quick." Phoebe said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"If we don't they'll follow us back to the village or kill us before we can make it there." Phoebe said as she retrieved several shurikens from her digivice.

"True." I replied before she teleported out.

They flew passed her, focusing only on the car while she attacked them and brought them down pretty quickly. Once they were reduced to data clouds I turned back around and went to pick her back up.

"Ok, back to business, where did you park the bus?" I asked as she got back in.

"Somewhere over this way." She said.

"Shouldn't be too hard to spot." I said.

"That's why we left it behind." Phoebe said.

I dropped my beloved off at the bus while Kitty decided to stay in the backseat of Henry's car as we both made our way back to the village.

"So did you sleep with her last night or what happened?" I asked.

"No, I slept by myself. She made me mad too, sending you away like that." Kitty replied.

"Did she sleep by herself?" I asked.

"I think so, yeah." Kitty replied.

"So when do we get our reward?" Kitty asked.

"Well first we need to get the vehicles back to the village, then we probably need to explain everything to everyone and make sure things are still going allright with Ophanimon, then we need to find an excuse to sneak onto the bus, so probably an hour, hour and a half." I said.

"Did you have fun with Venusmon?" Kitty asked.

"It went ok but I'd rather be with you or Phoebe, I just don't feel that way about her." I said.

"You know Kitty Kat? I really regret not marrying you sometimes." I said after a brief pause.

"I knew you were going to say that!" She replied.

"You know, if you ever want, I'm sure we could both convince Pheebles." I said.

"Hmmmm, you know she'll never give that up. She loves you as much as I do if not more." She replied.

"Yeah well, the closer you get to her, the more she'll relent." I said.

"Maybe someday." Kitty said.

"Yeah, maybe someday." I agreed.

"You know we're far enough ahead of Pheebles we could sneak off in another direction and mess around a bit, just you and me before we get back to the city." I said.

"No, she'll find out." Kitty said.

"Maybe I want her to find out." I said.

"No!" She vehemently refused.

"Ok ok." I said.

"Guess I need to keep you in line too." She said.

"Eh you can try Kitty Kat, but I am driving the car." I said.

"Don't do it." She replied.

"It's tempting, it's really tempting." I teased.

"It is, but we shouldn't. I'm sorry." She admitted.

"Don't be, you're probably right on this. I guess it's just a good day for you huh?" I said.

"I guess so." She replied.

"So, how should we punish her this time?" I asked.

"I don't feel like punishing her this time." She said.

"Oh really?" I asked.

"She spent last night alone, that's enough of a punishment for her isn't it?" Kitty asked.

"You might have a point there, but I'm inclined to disagree, we gotta torment her just a little bit." I said.

"Don't hurt her." Kitty said.

"You know I don't mean that kind of torment." I said as I brought the car to a stop.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Letting her catch up to us." I said.

"Why?" Kitty asked.

"So she can follow us." I replied.

"I know that look that means you're planning on doing something smart." Kitty said.

"Either that or something dumb." I replied as the bus grew closer in the rearview mirror.

"Allright let's do this." I said as I turned to the west, Phoebe followed us, as expected. When we were far enough off the trail that the Bubblemen wouldn't notice us in case they gave chase I stopped.

"Come on babe let's get out." I said as I got out and slid the seat forward so she could get out as well.

"This is a bad idea." She said.

"Come on Kitty Kat, we don't have all the time." I said as I took her arm and helped her out. (the backseat was not particularly spacious hence why usually only Ninjamon rides back there.)

"You love me Kitty kat?" I asked.

"You know I do." She replied as the bus drew closer.

"Then I really need you to show it right now." I said as pulled her close.

We kissed and started to gently make out though I could tell she was very unsure about it all.

The bus stopped and Phoebe just sat there, watching for a moment before timidly getting out.

"Are you going to let me join or?" She asked, timidly.

"Yes." Kitty said as she suddenly pulled away from me, seemingly somewhat scared, which, honestly is the first time I remember seeing her scared, and I've seen her get shot and impaled before, she never gets scared.

"Are you afraid of her?" I asked.

"I'm afraid of hurting her." Kitty said.

"Cj please don't do this to me. I'm sorry." Phoebe begged on the verge of tears with a level of sincerity I hadn't seen from her in a long time.

I broke, she was just too precious. I just quietly pulled her into a hug and she hugged me back.

"I just wanted to know that you cared, that's all I needed." I whispered.

"Of course I care, you dummy." She replied.

"You don't show it." I said.

"I am now." She said.

"Yeah, you are." I replied as Kitty wrapped her arms around us both.

"Kitty Kat." I said with a laugh.

"Family hug." She said.

"It would be if Charley and Nina were here." Phoebe said.

"You consider her family now?" I asked.

"Of course, don't you?" Phoebe replied.

"Only for as long as I can remember." I said.

I've considered her family for well over half of my existence at that point, though I could no longer pinpoint exactly when.

"Good because you're stuck with her now." Phoebe said.

"Yep I suppose I am." I said.

"We are." She replied.

"Mhmm." I agreed.

"Also from now on, how about we both have to have Kitties permission as well or it doesn't count?" I said.

"She's always going to say no." Phoebe said.

"Not always." Kitty said.

"Yeah you will, unless it's permission to be with you." Phoebe said.

"Well then you're going to have to convince her to side with you." I said.

"And what are we going to do about Zari then? I know you have feelings for her, you can't hide them." Phoebe asked.

"Well when you're willing to let me marry Kitty as well, then Zari can be our virara I guess." I said.

"So you want two wives and one virara for the three of us?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, it's hard to think about anyone but you two right now." I said.

"You said it yourself we need to draw a line somewhere." Phoebe said.

"I know, and that's still true. Fuck it was so much easier when it was just you and me." I replied.

"Yeah well, it can't be that way anymore." Phoebe said.

"Mhm." Kitty agreed.

"We'll deal with that when we need too, let's just enjoy this moment now." I said.

"You're right, I couldn't agree more." Phoebe replied.

I'm not sure how long we stood there like that, could have been a few more minutes, could have been a couple hours at most, but at some point we got back in the vehicles, sometimes the most magical moments aren't sexual at all. Eventually we made it back to the village where we had another short meeting with the rest of the group.

"Cj, you're allright!" Zari said as she came over and hugged me.

"Eh heh." I awkwardly replied as Phoebe jealously glared at her.

"So what happened?" Zari asked.

"He got captured by the Bubblemen." Phoebe said.

"Them again?" Henry asked.

"How?" Claire asked.

"I don't know how they keep finding us." Phoebe said.

"Do they know we're staying here?" Zari asked.

"I don't know. They don't seem to have as many digimon as they used to though." Phoebe replied.

" Ok, well, anyway, I guess the rescue went well?" Zari asked.

"It did." Phoebe said.

"They didn't stand a chance." Kitty chimed in.

"Did they follow us here?" Henry asked.

"I don't know, you might want to look around a bit and make sure." Phoebe replied.

"Did anything happen with Ophanimon yet?" I asked.

"Nope, nothing new as far as I know." Zari said.

"Ok well, if there's nothing going on right now, we're going to go have some quiet time on the bus and then I don't know." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Zari replied.

After that, it looked like it was going to be another long R&R day, so we quietly retreated to the bus where we just snuggled together in the bed.

"Anything either of you two feel like doing today?" I asked after we were there for about an hour and, as nice as it was I didn't really want to stay on the bus all day.

"We already rescued you once today." Phoebe replied.

"You really just want to lay here?" I asked.

"Yep." Kitty said.

"No sex?" I asked.

"Maybe later. I'm fine for now, I feel like it would just ruin the moment, we're already in a state of bliss aren't we?" Phoebe said.

"That's strange coming from you, but I can't disagree either." I said.

"Ok then, maybe sometime today you should hang out with Saphy a little bit?" I asked a bit later.

"Why?" Phoebe asked.

"You never spend much time with her off the bus and she's supposed to be your digimon. Hell Zari spends more time with her any more than you do." I pointed out.

"Is that really going to mean anything once we leave this world? I mean we've both agreed she needs way more experience before she becomes virara material, and she's not going to get that with us. If it wasn't for that portal incident things may have turned out differently, but at this point, I'm never going to be as close to her as you and Kitty are. So, while we're still friends, and she's still an important member of our group, and I will support her as such, but I just, I don't really see myself as her tamer nor do I see her as my digimon, and you know you don't see Kitty that way anymore either, you've gone way beyond that point, just like you don't see me as your pokémon anymore." Phoebe said.

"Allright, you got me there." I replied.

"If I'm not your digimon than what am I?" Kitty asked.

"You're our virara, whatever that means." I replied.

"Right." Phoebe agreed.

"Anyway, we're just, more than that now, silly. " I said.

"I see." Kitty replied.

"Anyway, we could go back to the library, maybe the newbies will be there again." Phoebe suggested.

"And you can ruin more of Kitty's storybook characters." I said.

"Exactly." Phoebe replied, jokingly.

"Maybe I can ruin one of yours." Kitty said.

"Well, there's Torch the growlithe." Phoebe said.

"That show has been around that long? I thought it was fairly modern?" I asked.

"I, actually I don't know. I didn't have a tv at home when I was a little ralts." Phoebe said.

"Me neither." Kitty said.

"You were a ralts?" Phoebe asked, jokingly.

"No, what's a ralts? I meant the tv part." Kitty asked.

"It's my first evolutionary stage and about the equivalent of a human baby up to the pre-teen stage depending on age. They usually reach the kirlia stage in their teens." Phoebe replied.

"Oh ok, but why no tv? They were all over that other world." Kitty asked.

"Well you see my parents and most of the gardevoir community at the time thought tvs were just a silly human novelty to keep people occupied while waiting in line at restaurants and pokémon centers. They didn't see the point in owning one nor were they entirely aware of how common they were. " Phoebe said.

"That's not entirely untrue." I said.

"How did they not know?" Kitty asked.

"Well, we only went to human cities a few times a year, so it's not like we were regularly shopping around or visiting their houses." Phoebe said.

"I don't think I've actually seen a working tv in this entire world, aside from the one on this bus, but it's not from here. Anyway back on topic, your mother didn't read you any stories Pheebles?" I asked.

There were no tv channels in the digital world and most digimon seemed to think tvs were just a decorative item, like a model car, or a little statue or something, which is why many houses here still had one, though non-functional.

"Let me think back for a bit, we did have a few human books, that's how my mom taught me to read." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"This is gonna be good Kitty Kat." I said, before pulling her close and affectionately kissing her on the cheek.

"Well don't start kissing now." Phoebe said.

"We're just snuggling a bit closer to hear your story." I said before kissing her as well.

"Ok." She replied.

"Well go on baby girl." I said.

"I'm still trying to remember." She replied.

"Will some tickling help?" I playfully teased.

"No, Cj." She replied.

"Allright I'll just shut up and let you think then." I said.

"Good." She replied before kissing me back.

"There was Percy Piplup." She said a bit later.

"And what was that book about?"

"He had books that taught shapes, math, and human words. And there was this other book too were you could "pet" growlithes and politoeds, and a magnemite." She said.

"A magnemite?" I asked, somewhat surprised since magnemites were not particularly common nor are they a pokémon most people would want to pet.

"It had a little metal plate embedded in the page to rub, and fake fur and leather and a bunch of other materials simulating different pokémon." She said.

"Those seem more like an educational book than story books." I said.

"Yeah, they were." She replied.

"You didn't have any story books?" I asked.

"We didn't have many books whatsoever." Phoebe said.

"There was a story of a group of young ralts that went too far into the forest and got eaten by a drapion that snapped off their psyhorns and that's all they found of them." Phoebe said.

"That's terrifying." I said.

"It's not a true story, as far as I know, but I think I told you this before Cj, drapions are very dangerous so as ralts we were all told stories like that so we would stay far away from them. Though they aren't the only pokémon out in the forest that can cause harm, they are the most feared and despised among gardevoirs. The entire point of that story is to scare young ralts so they won't end up like that." She said.

"Yeah you told me that before." I replied.

"What's a drapion?" Kitty asked.

"It's a big purple bug pokémon with pinchers for hands, and worst of all it's part dark type so it's resistant to mind reading and psychic attacks and we can't read them and have to spot them the human way, and it will eat whatever pokémon it can get a hold of, including foolish young ralts that they can easily sneak up on." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty said.

"Do we need to be afraid of them too?" Kitty asked.

"No, just the young ralts do. " Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty said.

"You have a story Kitty can use?" I asked.

"None I really want her too." Phoebe said.

"Awe I didn't want you to ruin wise old Mr. Wizardmon for me either." Kitty said.

"I'm sorry Kitty." Phoebe apologized.

"Actually let me think a little bit I might have one." Phoebe said.

"Can I just make one up for her?" Phoebe asked me telepathically.

"Yeah ok, go ahead." I thought, not seeing the harm in it.

"There's a story about a rapidash." Phoebe said.

"Really?" I said, knowing immediately what she was up to.

"What's a rapidash?" Kitty asked.

"It's like a unimon, but it can't fly, and it's on fire." I said.

"Oh, ok." Kitty replied.

"Also it will let people it trusts ride it without burning them." Phoebe said.

"Don't you have one?" I asked.

"Yeah, I could show her but we'd have to go outside first." She said.

"Maybe later then?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah maybe later, maybe I could even convince it to let you ride." Phoebe said.

"Ehhhh, in her other form maybe." I said, worried what her claws would do to the poor thing.

"Yeah in your other form." Phoebe agreed.

"Anyway back to the story, a beautiful princess was riding her rapidash over to the tower where a sad old man lived on his own because his mannerisms were very annoying." Phoebe said.

"What?" I asked.

"Like every time he tried to smell something he made a really annoying wheezing noise, every time he laughed he sounded like an evil villain, he yawned very loudly, and every time he saw a speck of dust he couldn't help but sneeze atleast three times." Phoebe said.

"What happens when he gets a stiffy?" Kitty asked.

"Nobody knew, nobody ever tried to give him one." Phoebe answered a bit too enthusiastically.

"Is that why the princess was there?" Kitty asked.

"No, she went to ask him a favor." Phoebe said.

"The king's mother in law was visiting and he needed someone so repulsive that she would start disparaging them instead of him." Phoebe said.

"I thought this story was supposed to be about a rapidash?" I asked.

"It is, just wait." Phoebe said.

"So anyway he agrees to go, for a favor and they both get on her rapidash and head over to the castle." Phoebe said.

"What favor? did she screw him?" Kitty asked.

"Ewww, no. I think it was money or something like that, maybe some classes on how not to make annoying noises everywhere you go." Phoebe said.

"Anyway, they made it to the castle and she gets off her rapidash but the guy can't because he is too old and sore. And the guy's name is Jack. So she starts going around asking everyone if they could help Jack off her Rapidash. " She continued.

"Whaaat?" I asked with a laugh.

"And of course everyone is like NO! because they either know the guy she's talking about or they assume she means the other thing. And then the mother in law arrives and the king is like, where's Jack? And the princess is like "nobody would help Jack off my rapidash." And the king, queen, and the mother in law look at her and are like "what?" And the princess just repeated herself, then she led them outside to her rapidash, with Jack nowhere to be found as he had found a way to get off on his own and decided to go off in search of the princess. Now the king and queen both know who this Jack guy is but the mother in law doesn't so she thinks the princess literally means the other thing." Phoebe said.

"I don't know where I'm going with this anymore." She told me telepathically.

"I don't know either." I thought.

"So the mother in law starts stroking it's balls and cock?" Kitty asked.

"Um no." Phoebe said.

"And then the king and queen start doing it?" Kitty asked.

"No no no that's not how it goes." Phoebe dramatized to make her feel better.

"and then the queen and the princess, and the mother in law get pregnant and have fiery human rapidash babys." Kitty said.

" I don't think it works like that but ok." I replied.

"You ruined it! That was such a classic, I can't believe you." Phoebe said, still playing it up while Kitty just layed there and laughed.

"Ok, now you're both even I think." I said as I cuddled the two of them.

Kitty decided to kiss me.

"Hey I want a kiss too." Phoebe said as she moved to kiss me as well.

I gave them both several kisses as I held them close.

"Hey Kitty?" Phoebe asked.

"Mhm?" Kitty replied.

"How about we claim our reward now and then head outside?" Phoebe said.

"Ok then if that's what you want, who's going first?" I asked.

"She can." Phoebe said.'

"You sure?" I asked.

"Mhmm." She replied.

"Allright then come here Kitty Kat." I said as I carefully helped her get on me.

"Oh fuck look at you babe, you're so beautiful." I said as I got my hands on her soft curvy ass.

"Look at you." She replied before kissing me.

"You gonna let me fuck your little fluff box?" I asked.

"Yeah." She replied as I wrapped my arms around her.

"Let's head out into the forest first. Otherwise all the digimon around will have twenty million questions about our pokémon and we'll have to go through all that spiel again." Phoebe said.

"Yeah that seems like a good idea." I replied as I followed her along.

-several minutes of walking later along with a teleport passed the wooden perimeter wall. -

"Ok this spot looks good, come on out Rapidash." Phoebe said before letting out her pokémon.

"Oh it's this thing." Kitty said.

"Yeah I thought you would've seen it before, but still, here she is." Phoebe said.

"It doesn't look like a unimon at all!" Kitty said.

I wasn't sure how to respond to that and by the looks Phoebe was giving me she didn't either.

" Should we let our other pokémon out to play or?" I asked.

"I don't think we should because the Bubblemen might still be looking around for us and they might come this way." Phoebe said.

"It's been a couple hours." I said.

"I know, but still." She replied.

"The Bubblemen are bad guys that are after us rapidash, but they're not that strong." She said to her pokémon.

"Oh hell, you know why they're after us?" I asked.

"Why?" She asked me.

"Ok get this, I got them to tell me, while they had me tied up, they're after you, because they think you can travel between dimensions at will." I said.

"I can't." She said.

"I know, I told them, I'm not sure Volkheim believed me, but now they want to get out of here before the next reformation event." I said.

"Those dummies! Where'd they get that idea?" She said with a laugh.

"I guess they saw you teleport and made some assumptions?" I asked.

"I guess." She replied.

"I might have let it slip that we might have a way out of here, but other than that they're totally in the dark." I said.

"Why'd you tell them that?" Phoebe asked.

"Because it was too funny." I said with an awkward smile.

"Sorry." I apologized.

"Oh, I think it will probably be ok. It looked like their army took a huge hit since the frozen city. They only had a few ogremon with them." She replied.

"Well maybe they haven't all made it here yet." I said.

-meanwhile, after recovering from the merciless beating Kitty inflicted on them and giving up the chase. We were more concerned with getting away from them than actually fighting them so there weren't any casualties.-

"Where are the rest of our forces?" Volkheim asked.

"A lot of them left after our failure back north, and some others got lost in the forrest I guess." Another bubbleman replied.

"How could they get lost? The trees aren't that thick, we could drive through no problem" Volkheim said, thoroughly annoyed.

"MONITAMON ALPHA! " Volkheim commanded.

"Yes sir?" The timid monitamon replied.

"Go take your cart and see if you can find our insectoid buddies and get them to fight for us again now that we're back in a warmer climate. Also if you see any of our other buddies send them this way. Recruit anyone you can." Volkheim barked.

"Yes sir." The cart driving monitamon said before taking off.

"Numbers are at the lowest since we started Lord Doctor." Jeffries said.

"Then we must focus on regrouping for now, we can't fail when we make a move on that village or we could be trapped here forever." Volkheim replied.

"And the extradimensionals?" Jeffries asked.

"We don't know if they're telling the truth or not, so we must assume everything is true and play it safe. Send the other monitamon ahead to scope out the village, time is of the essence." Volkheim replied.

-back to us-

"So Kitty, you want to go and switch forms and see if I can convince her to let you ride?" Phoebe asked as the equine pokémon gazed at her quizzically. Unlike most pokémon, aside from most of the avian variety, rapidashes can't speak and just make noises similar to horses. That said, like most pokémon, they are still more intelligent than their animal counterparts.

"To where?" Kitty asked.

"Just around." Phoebe said.

"She's really fast, she can keep up with cars on the highway." Phoebe said.

They are one of the fastest running pokémon in existence, though they need a lot of space to make use of that speed. Like normal horses they like big wide open areas where they can run around, which combined with their large size makes them unsuitable as pets for a lot of trainers. They also don't turn very well when at speed.

"Um ok." Kitty said.

"Rapidash, this is Kitty, you've seen her by now I'm sure." Phoebe said.

She nodded in response.

"Long story short, basically, she's my sister now and I kind of want to show her how to ride if that's ok." Phoebe said.

It shook its head.

"She'll change form don't worry about her claws. I wouldn't do that to you. Ok?" Phoebe said.

"Kitty go and digivolve already, show her." Phoebe said.

"Ok just a sec." Kitty replied.

She closed her eyes for a second before glowing and digivolving to her Lilithmon form.

Digivolution actually looks a lot like pokémon evolution except it's completely quiet, whereas when a pokémon evolves it kind of makes a dull burning sound. Like a blowtorch almost, the whole process also gives off a lot of heat but generally not enough to be a fire hazard. Also digivolution is completely reversible whereas pokémon evolutions are usually not with a few outliers such as slowpoke, where its evolved form is completely dependent on shelder's toxins, if for whatever reason something happens to that shelder and it comes off of those toxins, it reverts back to a slowpoke.

"Ok, there." Kitty said as she set down her weapon which I then stashed inside the digivice for safe-keeping.

Rapidash snorted.

"Yeah I know she's a bit bigger now, but now you won't have to worry about her claws." Phoebe said, relying on her powers to understand her.

It shook it's head.

"Hey, I trust this girl with CJ's life, I know I can trust her with you." Phoebe said.

It snorted again.

"Just think about it, and quit thinking about Japan, I will never for as long as I live, let that happen to you again. And I'm apparently immortal now so that is going to be a really long time sweety." Phoebe said.

"No dice?" I asked.

"She's thinking about it." Phoebe replied.

Eventually her rapidash conceded and got down on her knees.

"Allright now you can get on." Phoebe said.

"You sure this is a good idea? " I asked.

"If it isn't it will be fun to watch." Phoebe replied.

She taught herself how to ride sometime after we finally settled on a home, just as the world was beginning to rebuild from the disaster. Before I was even aware her world existed. A time where not much of interest really happened as we just spent it living as much like a normal post-apocalyptic married couple as we possibly could. Of course while trying to learn this ancient form of travel, she could use her powers to hover if needed, so she never had to worry about falling off. Kitty, on the other hand, didn't have those powers. Also rapidashes are a bit easier to ride than horses, once they like you. They are a fair bit more intelligent as well and generally don't spook as easily. Of course if they don't like somebody then they'll burn that person on contact.

Phoebe's Rapidash stood up, with Kitty on her back holding on for dear life.

"Ok why don't you just follow us rapidash? We'll just kind of wander around the area, Kitty, hold on as best as you can." Phoebe said.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Just around, we'll just stay within these rows of trees. " Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"And then we can talk about some things." Phoebe said as we started to walk.

"Like what?" I asked.

"I don't know, let's just see what comes up." She replied.

"I could call you a cutey over and over again." I said.

"That might get annoying after a while, besides I keep telling you, I'm not cute I'm sexy." She replied.

"But you've agreed that you're cute before." I said.

"Well I can decide to disagree at any time. She insisted.

"You doing ok Kitty?" She asked as her rapidash slowly followed us.

"Kind of yeah." Kitty replied.

"Kind of?" I asked.

"It's kind of bumpy." She replied.

"Yeah, it'd be more comfortable if we had a saddle, but we're not really going that far so we should be fine." Phoebe said.

"Is this a normal thing in your world?" Kitty asked.

"It used to be how most humans got around in my world." Phoebe said.

"Same with mine but with horses, not rapidashes, and some people still do it for sport or as a hobby." I said.

"Mines the same way, especially in western Sinnoh, with rapidashes not horses of course." Phoebe said.

"And I hope you noticed by now after all the years on Paloran that on other planets people ride similar creatures." I said.

There weren't any horse-like creatures native to Paloran, just a lot of fish and some plants. "I've seen it in a few movies I guess." Kitty said.

"Yeah." I agreed.

"So how fast can she go?" Kitty asked.

"Pretty fast." Phoebe said.

"Faster than the bus?" Kitty asked.

"Do you wanna see?" Phoebe asked with a hint of mischief.

"I don't know maybe." Kitty said.

"Rapidash you want to show her?" Phoebe asked.

"Hey wait." Kitty said, but it was too late, the pokémon already took her cue and bolted.

"Too fassst!" Kitty yelled as they both headed off into the distance.

"Um, I guess that's a yes. Hold on!" Phoebe said.

"Really Pheebles?" I asked.

"Well I didn't know she'd just take off like that." Phoebe replied.

"If she gets hurt." I said.

"She won't, not that bad, you know it." Phoebe said.

"Well still." I replied.

"I didn't know she'd take off like that." Phoebe said.

"I believe you." I said with a sigh.

"You think they'll come back?" Phoebe asked after a few seconds of silence.

"I think we should follow them anyway in case something happens." I replied.

"Ok." She said.

"Slow down you crazy thing!" Kitty said as the horse-like pokémon galloped through the forest at well over 80 miles per hour. It had been a while since she had a good run and she was enjoying every moment of it, so she got a little carried away.

Even with Phoebe's ability to teleport she was simply too fast and we couldn't keep up, hopefully her rapidash planned on slowing down at some point.

I'm sorry but there's no way we can keep up I'll tire myself out." Phoebe said.

"I guess we'll just walk then, she has to stop eventually right?" I asked.

"Eventually." Phoebe said.

I retrieved my digivice from my pocket and opened up the status screen so I could atleast monitor Kittie's health, which was at 95% now since she lost just a bit from digivolving though this damage was never represented by any form of injury.

"What if she runs into the Bubblemen?" I asked as we walked.

"We're going in a completely different direction." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but, who knows with them, there could be a monitamon watching us right now." I said.

"I hope they weren't watching us on the bus." She said.

"That's why we have trash bags covering the back windows." I said.

"What if they can see through them?" Phoebe asked.

"Then we're screwed but what are we going to do about it?" I asked shortly before the digivice beeped.

"Oh shit." I said as I looked at the screen.

"What's that mean?" Phoebe asked.

"She just lost 15 percent of her health. She's down to 80%" I said.

"I didn't think rapidash would take off like that." Phoebe said, trying to defend herself.

"I know, I know, I believe you baby girl, it's just ten percent, she's probably fine." I replied.

"Come on let's go see what happened." I said.

"I'll take you as far as I can." She said.

"Just don't hurt yourself." I said.

"I won't." She replied as she took my hand.

She teleported us quite a bit closer but was then too exasperated to go any further.

"You go on ahead I'll catch my breath." She said.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Go make sure she's ok, I'll be fine. I just need a bit to recover" Phoebe replied.

And so I proceeded forward on my own where I eventually found quite a large hole in the ground, and just beyond that Kitty was pinned to the ground by Phoebe's rapidash which seemed to be unconscious. There was evidence that they had slid along the ground for quite some distance.

"Cj I need help." She said.

"Yeah I can see that, what the heck happened here?" I asked.

"I don't know how I'm supposed to get it off of me without hurting it more." Kitty said.

"How'd that happen?" I asked.

"It tripped on that hole." Kitty said.

"Well hold on, Phoebe had to stop to catch her breath she should catch up in a bit." I said.

The dex entry the states rapidashes weight as seen in the games is completely and utterly inaccurate, possibly due to a translation error, their real average weight is around two thousand pounds, so yeah, being pinned under one was no joke. Oddly enough the average height stated was pretty much spot on.

"It's squishing me!" Kitty said.

"Relax, you're not losing anymore health." I said.

Nor could she suffer from compartment syndrome.

"How much did I lose?" She asked.

"You're down to 80%." I said.

"Ow." She replied.

"Well you faired better than rapidash." I said.

"Arceus!" Phoebe said as she caught sight of us in the distance.

"What happened?" She asked after getting a bit closer.

"Your pokémon crashed." I replied.

"Rapidash!" She said, concerned, but her pokémon was out like a light.

"I guess I'll have to heal you up later." She said as she returned her fallen pokémon to its ball, which also freed Kitty.

"It wouldn't stop." Kitty said as I helped her up.

"I'm so sorry I didn't think she'd just take off like that without warning." Phoebe said.

"Can't you read it's mind?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah but by the time I saw that it was too late to do anything. What did you even hit?" Phoebe said.

"This hole over here." I said.

"Why is there a hole here?" Phoebe asked.

"No idea." I replied.

"Abandoned shelter maybe?" I asked as I stared down into it, realizing how lucky we were that neither of them fell in as it was deep enough that I couldn't see the bottom.

"You want to check it out?" Phoebe asked.

"Eh, we got nothing better to do, we might have to go get some rope though, I can't tell how deep it is." " I replied.

"Maybe it goes on forever?" Kitty asked as she came up alongside me.

"Maybe, I doubt it, but who knows with the way this world is." I replied.

"Pheebles can you remember where this place is?" I asked.

"Think so." She replied.

"Allright let's go get some supplies then." I said.

"Right, come on Kitty." She said.

"My legs hurt." Kitty moaned.

"Here I have some healing cream." Phoebe said.

"It works better if Cj rubs it on." Kitty said.

"Ohoho really?" I asked, knowing full well she was lying about that, though her legs looked a bit banged up, so she was probably in some pain.

"Well I think so." She said, playfully.

"Eh we'll get you healed anyway." I said.

"What about rapidash?" Kitty asked.

"We're going to need to get more cream. Silly girl what was she thinking?" Phoebe asked.

"Could you still read her?" I asked.

"Yeah, she's not dead, she just knocked herself out." Phoebe replied.

"Too fast." Kitty

"I didn't know she would take off like that I'm so sorry." Phoebe said.

"Ehhh, I'll forgive you this time." Kitty replied.

After getting Kitty patched up we headed back to the village and straight to the maker machines to get some rope made as well as a flashlight if we could. We ended up bumping into Henry and Claire as Henry was looking over his car to make sure we didn't mess it up.

"Does it look all right? We didn't push it that hard." I said.

"I'm not seeing anything to be worried about." Henry replied, halfway under the car.

"I tried really hard not to poke holes in the seats." Kitty said.

"The seats are fine." Henry replied.

"What are you three up to today?" Claire asked.

"We found a hole, in the forest, it's deep, we're going to go check it out." Phoebe said.

"You found another hole?" Henry asked, trying to make some sort of joke.

"You wanna come see?" Kitty asked.

"No like an actual hole in the ground. My rapidash crashed into it." Phoebe said.

"Your what?" Henry asked.

"It's one of my pokémon, rapidash." Phoebe said.

"It's like a fiery horse." I said.

"Oh, I see, it's that one." Henry replied.

"Yeah, you get it, you've seen her before." Phoebe replied.

"It crashed?" Claire asked.

"She ran into the hole and tripped over it, yeah, I guess she didn't see it. I'll get it healed up later." Phoebe said.

"Is she allright?" Claire asked.

"Well she's unconscious but, she'll make it. She might be a bit grumpy when we wake her up though, but she's going to need a talking too as well for taking off like that. Anyway, we're going to go see what's down that hole so if anyone needs us that's where we'll be." Phoebe said.

"Ok, except we don't know where that hole is." Henry said.

"Maybe we'll take a mechanorimon then for safety." Phoebe replied.

"Maybe you should." Henry said.

"Have you heard anything about Ophanimon yet?" I asked.

"Nothing new." Henry replied.

"Allright then, let's go." I said.

"We need to get a mechanorimon first." Phoebe insisted.

"Well where are they then?" I asked.

-several minutes later-

Kiera was apparently teaching them how to dance in unison, which was about as odd to see as it was hilarious.

"DO THE HAPPY ROBOT DANCE! SHAKE YOUR CHROME MOLYBDENUM PANTS!" They sang in unison, quite poorly as they all have the same monotone voice, but atleast their dancing was coordinated.

"What did I just witness?" I asked.

"The product of a few hours of boredom and a silly idea." Kiera said.

"Cute." Phoebe said.

"Can they be a bit less loud?" Kitty said.

"You could stand further away." Kiera replied.

"Did you show Zari?" Phoebe asked.

"Not yet you three are the only ones, Lussy and the others wanted to spend the day in the library.." Kiera replied.

"Are you going to put on a show?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, maybe, I'll see how far I get with this, anyway what are you up to today?" Kiera asked.

-a bit of what was now repetitive explanation later-

"So you don't know what's down there and you need to borrow one of these guys so we can find you if needed?" Kiera asked.

"Especially if there's any updates on whatever Ophanimon is doing while we're gone." Phoebe said.

"Ok, that's no problem. Pick whatever one you want." Kiera said.

"That one I guess." Phoebe said, pointing to the nearest one.

"Not him! He's the frontman!" Kiera replied.

"Front robot?" I asked.

"Whatever you get the idea." Kiera insisted.

"Ok the one behind him then." Phoebe said.

"Allright 673 go with them." Kiera said in an adorably authoritative manner.

"YES MAM." The mechanorimon replied.

"What you're their commander now?" I asked with a laugh.

"Maybe." Kiera replied.

"Are they coming with us to the next world? " Phoebe asked.

"They said they will if we want them too." Kiera said.

"Cool" Phoebe replied.

"Not sure how we're supposed to hide a half dozen 10ft tall giant robots though." I said.

"We'll figure it out. Maybe they can fit in the digivice?" Phoebe replied.

"I don't know. We'll have to ask Ophanimon." I replied.

"What about me?" Kitty asked.

"You're close enough to human in that form most people would probably just write it off as some sort of costume." I said.

"Really?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, but it really depends on what kind of world we end up in, you know? The dominant species may be human as we know it or just humanoid with any skin color imaginable, and possibly multiple arms and legs, or three eyes, or, well really the possibilities are endless, who even knows?" I said.

"What about Iceleomon?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah he's going to stick out like a sore thumb no matter where he goes isn't he?" I asked with a laugh.

"Yep." Phoebe agreed.

"Gonna need a biiiiiiiiig trenchcoat." I said.

"Yeah." Phoebe agreed with a laugh.

"We should probably get one here then, it could be really hard to find one in an analogue world." She said.

"A what?" I asked.

"Analogue, you know? Non-digital." Phoebe said.

"I get where you're coming from, I'm not sure it works like that." I said.

"Well I say it does." She replied.

"Ehehe ok if you say so." I replied.

"ready to go?" She asked.

"Yeah, see you later Kiera." I said.

"Hey, please don't have an orgy with the others in the library without me." She replied.

"We weren't going to have an orgy at all, but hey if you put on a show with the mechanorimon this evening maybe we'll invite you back to our bus for a night." Phoebe said.

"Really?" Kiera asked.

"If Cj and Kitty are ok with it." Phoebe said.

"Eh, ok, one night." I reluctantly agreed because atleast she was asking now, and a show could be interesting, and the whole group was quickly getting bored with no news on if Ophanimon would ever actually announce what the heck she was up to.

"Kitty Kat? Watcha looking at?" I asked as she seemed to be spaced out.

"What? I don't know." She said.

"Don't know what?" I asked.

"What?" She asked.

"What don't you know?" I asked.

"I don't know what you just said." She said.

"You don't know your own name by now?" I asked.

"No." She replied, confused.

"Can Kiera spend the night with us if she puts on a show with the mechanorimon?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't really like them, they're loud." Kitty replied.

"Well the rest of the group might enjoy it." Phoebe said.

"Didn't we talk about this already?" Kitty asked.

"Cj agreed though, and of course you can come too." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"Or you could say no and spend the night alone regardless of what happens." Phoebe said.

"Pheebles." I scolded her.

"She still needs my permission to be with you is that not right?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah." I reluctantly agreed again.

"Well ok then, that's the deal." Phoebe said.

"Fine." Kitty said.

"Great, now get to work on that show Kiera, we'll see you later." Phoebe replied.

"Right, bye." She said.

"Come on goofballs." Phoebe said playfully, already walking away.

"Where you going already missy?" I playfully asked her.

"Where do you think? Back to the hole." She replied.

-several minutes of walking later-

"So what do you think is down there Kitty?" Phoebe asked as we made our way back over there, with the village well behind us.

"Probably nothing." Kitty said.

"It's probably just an abandoned shelter, everyone there probably moved back into the village already." I said.

"Probably." Phoebe agreed.

"Except there's no ladder or other way to get in or out without just jumping into the abyss." I said.

"They might have taken it out to use for something else." Phoebe replied.

"Who knows?" I asked.

"That's why we're going to find out." Phoebe said.

"Maybe the village people know?" Kitty asked.

"Maybe, but it will be more fun to find out on our own." Phoebe said.

"Or atleast kill more time." I added.

"Right." Phoebe agreed.

We arrived back at the hole and after shining a flashlight down in it and still not seeing the bottom, we tied one end of the rope around the nearest tree.

"Ok who's going down first?" I asked.

"Kitty should, in case something is down there she's the most durable." Phoebe said.

"What could be down there?" Kitty asked.

"I don't know. Zombie digimon?" Phoebe asked.

"Ew." Kitty replied.

"I don't think that's a thing." I said.

"Me either. Give me a moment let me look." Kitty replied.

"I can't see the bottom." She said a few seconds later.

"I think that only works in your other form." I said.

"Oh, right." She replied.

"But yeah you should probably go down first since if anything goes wrong you'll probably survive." I said.

"Probably?" She asked as I started to tie the rope around her waist.

"You know you will." I said after tying her up and kissing her affectionately on the head.

"Here hold onto it like this and try to wedge yourself between the sides so you can control your descent." I said.

"What?" she asked.

"Hold on to the rope and um." I said.

"Try to keep your back against one side of the hole and your feet against the other side." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I agreed.

"Ok." She replied.

And so we carefully sent her down into the hole. The bottom wasn't far out of the flashlight's reach, we had plenty of rope left. Once we confirmed it was safe, Phoebe and I went down as well, leaving the mechanorimon to watch things up top and sort of serve as a beacon for the rest of our group to easily find us, as mechanorimon can locate other mechanorimon via radio.

It was a good twenty feet or so deep and opened up into a sizable room, just as I had thought, it seemed like it was once a makeshift shelter built by the digimon during the attacks of the dark rulers, but was now seemingly abandoned. A tunnel on the far wall became the next thing to explore. It looked like it was dug out by a drimogemon or two, a digimon that could best be described as a bizarre cross between a narwhal and a mole and is about as competent as an army of diglett when it comes to digging. To the point where it's probably responsible for constructing the vast majority of the shelters that allowed so many digimon to survive. So far this shelter wasn't really proving to be anything remarkable as we had seen a few before, but we needed something to do, so we pressed on and headed into the tunnel, making use of the flashlight since it's light could travel farther than Phoebe's and it was a little less taxing on her as well.

The tunnel turned out to be pretty long and after ten minutes of walking we hadn't found much aside from a few empty wooden crates and more tunnel.

"Well this is boring so far." Phoebe said.

"If I turn the flashlight off it will be pitch black." I said.

"Why would you do that?" She asked as I did so.

"Bored." I replied.

"But now what if a scary monster comes and sneaks up on us?" Phoebe said.

"Pheebles, baby girl, there's nothing down here." I said.

"Kitty is as blind as you are in that form and I can't hear digimon." Phoebe said.

"Well then I'll change form again." Kitty said as she reverted back to her persiamon form, briefly illuminating everything.

"Or Cj could just turn the flashlight back on." Phoebe said.

"Yeah I can still barely see there's no light here at all." Kitty said.

."Yeah?" Phoebe asked.

"I can smell though." Kitty continued.

"And?" Phoebe asked.

"You smell weird." Kitty said.

"Well, thanks for that." Phoebe said, unamused and with heavy sarcasm.

"She smells fine to me." I said.

"Yeah well, you know I can smell more than you can, anyway, there's no other digimon around as far as I can tell." Kitty said.

"Ok, well, Cj, it's been nice standing around in the dark, but are you going to turn the light back on or am I just going to have to use my powers?" Phoebe asked.

I went and turned the light back on.

"Thank you, now let's go we haven't reached the end of the tunnel yet." Phoebe said as I turned the light off again.

"Really?" She asked.

"I'm just playing with you." I said.

"Ok then." She replied before teleporting away with another short flash of light.

"Pheebles." I said.

"She ditched us!" I said as I turned the light back on.

"No, she's just over that way." Kitty replied.

"You sure?" I asked.

"I can smell her or, wait now I can't anymore what the?" She replied as she started sniffing the air around her.

"Well Kitty Kat, you ever wanted to make love in a pitch black cave?" I asked as I turned the light back on and put my arm around her.

"Um, I never really thought of it." Kitty said.

"Oh, well me neither until now, but something about it just sounds kind of hot." I said as I pulled her close.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah, you think you maybe want to?" I asked.

"Nooooo." She cutely refused.

"Why not?" I asked.

"I don't think Phoebe would like that." She said.

"Well that's what she gets for ditching us." I said as I squeezed her just a bit.

This was of course all just a ploy to get Phoebe back over here, a ploy that worked like a charm, because of course she'd never teleport out of earshot, otherwise she'd never be able to tell how I reacted to her little stunt. It was also a great opportunity for Kitty to demonstrate her loyalty to both me and my beloved.

"Hey Cj what the heck?" Phoebe asked as she came back.

"It got you back over here." I said as I let go of Kitty so I could pull my beloved close, hug her, and affectionately but also somewhat teasingly kissed her on the cheek.

"Ok, well, can we continue now?" She asked.

"Yeah, ok." I replied.

"Keep the light on." She said a she led the way.

"Eh heh." I replied, still bored.

"And don't shine it on my butt." She said.

"I wasn't going to." I replied.

"You were thinking about it." She said.

"That doesn't mean I was going to." I replied.

"You would've, with the mood you're in now." She replied.

"Ok you win." I replied since she wouldn't let it go.

"Huh?" She asked.

"Hey Kitty look how tiny her butt is." I said as I pointed the flashlight at it.

"Hehe yeah her butt is all tiny." Kitty said laughing more at the spontaneity than the comment.

"100 years and I feel like I need to tell you to grow up." Phoebe said.

"Nope, never going to happen." I replied.

"That's fine I guess." She said.

"Really?" I asked.

"But you have to put up with me too." She said.

"I do." I said.

"I know." She replied in a mischievous tone before teleporting behind me and jumping up onto my back.

"Really Pheebles?" I asked.

"Mush!" She replied.

"Careful baby girl, don't smack your head on the ceiling." I said, as it was pretty low and uneven.

"Yeah this probably isn't a good idea." She said as she got off of me.

"Not down here, no." I replied.

"Mush anyway!" Kitty cheered.

"Don't you even think about climbing on me too." I said to her.

"I wasn't." She said.

"Good because I can't carry both of you." I said.

"Have you ever tried?" Phoebe asked.

"Is it worth hurting me and probably all of us over?" I asked.

"No, not really." She said.

"Ok well why don't you get off of me and we'll keep following this tunnel." I said.

"Hmmmmm, ohhhh, ok." She cutely replied before doing so.

"I don't want you to smack your head." I said.

"I know." She replied before grabbing hold of my arm.

"Ok, now what are you doing?" I asked.

"Well since I can't do that I'll just pull you along." She said.

"Okaay." I replied with a laugh.

"Come along Cj." She said in a playful manner.

"Ok baby girl whatever you say." I playfully replied as I let her "pull" me.

"Keep that flashlight pointed straight ahead and look out for big scary monsters." She replied.

"What kind of monsters do you expect to find down here?" I asked, not expecting anything myself.

"I don't know. The kind that's big and scary? With one eye, and lots of very sharp teeth, and it makes an awful screaming noise when it eats you or something I don't know." She replied.

"Would it really be a monster though and not just some kind of digimon?" I asked.

"Probably, but a lot of digimon look like monsters." Phoebe said.

"And it can't be that big either, the ceiling isn't that high." I said.

"Well maybe it's really angry too because it's all squished in here." Phoebe said.

"Then how did it get in here?" I asked.

"It was pushed? I don't know." She replied.

"Maybe it teleported?" Kitty said, making a surprisingly reasonable suggestion.

"Yeah and it can't teleport out because it's in too much pain from being so squished." Phoebe said.

"Wouldn't part of it get stuck in the wall though?" I asked.

"I don't know if that would kill a digimon or not. That stuff is really hard to predict. Either he wouldn't be able to teleport in all, or he could get grievously injured, or since the walls are mostly dirt it could possibly just be displaced. It all depends on how hard things are." Phoebe said.

"During the disaster there were stories of pokémon ending up inside walls and dying pretty much instantly." I pointed

" Well, that was less like teleporting, more like an interdimensional rift, there was a lot more energy involved and I don't really think what happened that day will ever be fully understood." Phoebe said.

" At least it brought us together." I said.

"Yeah, atleast." She agreed with a smile.

"Just like this place brought us together." Kitty said.

'Well, we first met here, I'm not really sure if it brought us together." I said.

"mmmmm." She moped.

"Oh Kitty Kat you know I love you, don't get all sad on me." I said.

"Can you hold my arm too?" Kitty asked.

"Sure." Phoebe replied.

"Not you, Cj." Kitty said.

"But he's not holding my arm, I'm holding his arm." Phoebe said.

"Here." I said before carefully locking my free arm with hers.

"Good?" I asked.

"Mhm." Kitty replied.

"Now we can be a train!" Phoebe said.

"What?" I asked.

"I don't know, just trying to make things more fun." She said.

"Well you're making them more interesting anyway." I said.

"Good." She replied.

It really was the antics and just spending time with both of them that made the journey, there was not much to see down there. After following the tunnel for several minutes we found the end, where there seemed to be a hole in the ceiling with some wooden planks built over it that I could only just reach.

"Push on it." Phoebe suggested.

"They're down tight, maybe Kitty could cut them, or maybe that's just a bad idea because it might be somebody's floorboards." I replied as I tried to move them.

"On the ground?" Phoebe asked.

"Who knows? I'm not even sure if this wood actually rots. I mean think about it we've never seen any rotted out buildings here, just ones that were shot up or burned down." I said.

"Or smashed." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, or smashed." I agreed.

"Maybe they never last long enough to rot since the reformations come every so often?" Phoebe said.

"We don't know just how often they happen though. Could be every decade, could be every century, and the reformations don't destroy everything, just a lot of things." I said.

"True." Phoebe replied.

"Should I cut it open?" Kitty asked.

" I don't know what do you think Pheebles?" I asked.

"Well, we came all this way and this is the only thing we found, let's find out where it goes." Phoebe said.

"Ok, but Kitty Kat, punch it a few times before you start cutting, atleast make sure nobody is standing on it." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

She looked up at it for a few seconds before jumping up and punching it.

"Was that good?" She asked.

"Yeah now listen." I said.

"Good because that hurt my hand a little bit." She said.

"Shhhh." I shushed her.

A brief period of silence followed, long enough that we were pretty sure nobody was up there.

"Ok now cut it." I said.

"Ok." She said.

Four attempts later she finally cut all the way through the boards, causing them to fall to the floor of the tunnel. Sunlight came in through the resulting hole.

"What the heck this is somebodies house." I said as I could see another ceiling through the hole, this one being all wood.

"I'll go see." Phoebe said as she stepped under the hole.

After taking a moment to seemingly gauge the distance, she teleported up there and safely made it inside.

"Yep this is definitely somebody's house, and I think, we're actually back in the village." She said as she apparently took a look around.

"Weird, anybody up there?" I asked.

"I don't see anyone. I guess they're not home." She replied.

"Fuck now we have to fix their floor." I said as Phoebe came back down.

"Yeah….. we kind of do. Anyway I got a good look around I can take you both up there now." Phoebe replied as she offered her hands.

"Ok we do this, we leave the house and I don't know go find Zari?" I asked.

"Ok, sure." Phoebe replied.

"They had to have known they build their house over a tunnel." I said.

"Yeah, they probably used it to escape." Phoebe said.

"Maybe they died anyway?" Kitty suggested.

"I doubt it, otherwise they'd probably all be dead." I replied.

"Ready?" Phoebe asked

"Yeah." I replied.

We took her hands, she teleported us up there and we left the house as quietly as we could. Most of the civilian digimon were out and about for the day so nobody seemed to notice.

"Allright Pheebles lead us to Zari." She said.

"Ok, can we be a train again?" She asked.

"Not in public." I said.

"Oh, don't be so shy." She replied.

"Let's just get going." I said.

"Oh ok, fine, but since we're not in the cave anymore." She mischievously replied.

I stood there, knowing there was absolutely not a damned thing I could do to keep her from jumping up onto my shoulders again, simply because I loved her too much.

"Mush!" She cheered once she did so.

"Okaayyy fine, but what way do we need to go?" I replied, completely defeated.

"That way, mush!" She said.

"How long are you going to keep this up?" I asked a bit later as numerous civilian digimon of various species started to look at us, seemingly more confused than anything.

"Until I get woozy from holding myself up. Mush!" She replied.

"Wait you're using your powers?" Kitty asked.

"Duh, I'm not going to make him carry all of me. Mush Cj, Mush!" Phoebe replied.

"I'm mushing, calm down, you crazy girl." I said.

"Can I ride too?" She asked.

"No." I said, vehemently.

"I'll get tired faster if I have to support both of us and he really only has room for one anyway." Phoebe replied.

"What about his other side?" Kitty asked.

"What?" I asked.

"No, Kitty there's no room." Phoebe said.

"You do realize, even if that would work your privates would be directly in front of my face and I wouldn't be able to see anything else?" I asked once I had a bit of time to think about what she meant by that.

"Oh….yeah, you're right." Kitty replied.

"Goofball." Phoebe said.

"It'd be like a reward for carrying both of us." Kitty said, jokingly with a mischievous grin, catching me by surprise as she was rarely ever like that, Phoebe was usually the inappropriate one.

"Not in public you weirdo." I said.

"Yeah that's, that's too far." Phoebe agreed.

"Sorry." Kitty said.

"We forgive you don't we Cj?" Phoebe asked.

"Uh huh, now where's Zari?" I replied.

"Why do you need to see her so bad?" Phoebe asked.

"Just for something to do? Are you against it? " I asked.

"We know you have a crush on her dumbass!" Kitty said, mischievously.

"Yeah, actually, and she likes you back." Phoebe agreed.

"She's still our friend." I said.

"Yeah but, you know I'm not sure how I feel about allowing her into all of this yet and I know Kitty is probably even more unsure. And if we go speak to her it's very likely that will come up, and I don't want to deal with that again right now so let's just keep you two apart, you have us, we should be way more than enough for you." Phoebe said.

"Mhm." Kitty agreed.

"Well, ok, she's such a touchy subject right now then let's go find Henry and Claire instead ok?" I replied.

"Ok and then we can go find her and we can all talk as a group." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, allright, let's do that." I said.

"Now mush!" She said as she pointed where to go.

"You strange strange girl." I said with a sigh.

"You know you love me." She teased.

"Yeah, I do, for some reason." I replied.

"What reason?" She asked, playfully.

"Too many reasons to say them all." I replied.

"Good answer, now go over this way." She said as she pointed in the direction she wanted us to go.

"Are you going to get off of me before we meet with them or?" I asked.

"I kind of want to see how they'll react." She replied.

"Sister, don't embarrass him!" Kitty said.

"They know how we are." Phoebe said.

"So? Just don't. It's not hard." Kitty said.

"Pheebles if you don't get off of me that deal with Kiera is off." I said.

"You can't go back on that the deal is with her not me." She replied.

"I can and I will and I'm sure she'll understand." I said.

"Do I have to get off of you right now?" She asked.

"Just don't let them see." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"And enough with all the mushing." I said.

"Ohhh, fine." She replied.

Eventually we found Henry and Claire as they went about whatever their business was today.

"Did you hear anything about Ophanimon?" Phoebe asked, now standing beside me.

"Nothing new, what are you all up to?" Henry replied.

"What was in the hole?" Claire asked.

"Nothing really interesting, it just had a really long tunnel that leads to one of the houses here. " I said.

"There was nothing in it?" Henry asked.

"A few empty crates and that's it." I replied.

"Yeah it was boring and empty." Phoebe added.

"So did you come back through the house or?" Henry asked.

"Yep." Phoebe said.

"Otherwise it would be a really long walk back here" I said, thinking it would have probably taken a bit more than half an hour to walk all the way back to the entrance and then back into the village..

"I cut a hole in somebody's floor." Kitty said.

"Really?" Claire asked.

"Yeah, we had to, to get out." Kitty said.

"Are you going to fix it?" Henry asked.

"I don't know how." Kitty said.

"We kind of need to figure out whose floor it is first." Phoebe explained.

"Does it matter?" Henry asked.

"No, but it would be awkward if they came home to us trying to fix their floor." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, that makes sense." Henry replied.

"They'll just come home to a hole in their floor instead." Claire pointed out.

"Yeah, but atleast we won't be there for them to get angry at." Phoebe said.

"So how are you going to find out whose house it is then?" Claire asked.

"Well, they'll probably say something about it eventually." Phoebe said.

"So they aren't home right now?" Henry asked.

"No, they aren't." Phoebe asked.

"Actually we're not even sure if the house is occupied." I said.

"Well it was furnished, so, I think it was." Phoebe said.

"It wasn't one of the ones we're using?" Henry asked.

"Nope." Phoebe said.

"So, which house is it?" Henry said.

"It's off over in that direction." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, if I remember right, I don't think there's any empty houses over there." Henry said.

"Ok well, we'll deal with that later, why don't we all go meet up with Zari?" Phoebe asked.

"You just want to have a group meeting?" Henry asked.

"Yeah." Phoebe replied.

"Ok then where's Zari?" Henry asked.

"Somewhere over this way. Come on Cj, let's go see your girlfriend." Phoebe said as she led the way.

"You're way more of my girlfriend than she is." I said.

"I know, try to remember that." She replied in a mischievous manner.

"And me." Kitty said.

"Yeah, you too." I replied.

"How many girlfriends do you need?" Henry asked.

"Trust me, between those two I have enough, if not complete overkill." I replied.

"Then what is this thing between you and Zari?" Claire asked.

"I don't know, and they aren't ready for it, so if she finds somebody else by the time they are, that's just how that works I guess. Not that it's that big of a deal." I replied.

"Right." Phoebe agreed.

"So you wouldn't mind if she started sleeping with somebody else?" Henry asked.

"Not really, no." I said.

"But you have feelings for her?" Henry asked.

"And she has feelings for him." Phoebe added.

"It's complicated. Let's leave it at that, Pheebles doesn't like talking about this." I said.

"I don't, because he's my Cj." Phoebe said as she hugged me possessively.

"Awwwe, Pheebles." I said, touched as I hugged her back.

"Love you." She said.

"Love you too baby girl." I replied.

Then Kitty went and hugged us both, just a bit too tight to be comfortable, possibly on purpose to make her presence known.

"Ok Kitty that's enough that's enough." Phoebe said.

"Mine." She said.

"Sort of." Phoebe half agreed.

"Are you done hugging it out yet?" Henry asked.

"Yeah, sorry it just kind of happens." Phoebe said.

Eventually we made it over to where Zari, Saphy, Iceleomon, Ninjamon, and surprisingly Lussy were training.

"What's going on? Did you hear anything about Ophanimon? " Zari asked.

"No, just a friendly group meeting out of boredom." I said as Phoebe decided to cling to me and kiss me on the cheek.

"Oh." Zari replied.

"Kitty can we fight?" Saphy asked.

"Maybe later." Kitty replied.

"Phoebe?" Saphy asked.

"I told you I'm not very good at that, you won't learn anything useful fighting me, but how is your training coming along anyway?" Phoebe said.

"I think I'm getting a little better." Saphy replied.

"That's good." Phoebe said.

"I'd like to show you." She said.

"Well maybe you can fight with Kitty in a moment." Phoebe said.

"She's definitely gotten stronger." Zari said.

"That's good." Phoebe replied.

"Also maybe we can hang out some today? " Saphy asked.

"Maybe, I don't know." Phoebe said.

"Please?" She asked.

"OK fine after this, arceus you're too cute." Phoebe said.

"So are you too going to hang out together or are you staying with me and Kitty?" I asked.

"Can I trust you to be alone with Kitty?" Phoebe asked.

"Better question is can I trust you to be alone with her?" I asked.

"You can trust me." Kitty interjected.

"And you'll keep him in line?" Phoebe replied.

"Of course." Kitty said.

"Allright then." Phoebe said.

"Saphy?" I asked.

"Ummmm." She said, completely unsure.

"If we do anything then you get the night alone with Kitty fair enough?" Phoebe asked.

"Eh sure why not?" I replied.

"And me?" Zari asked with a wink.

"No." Kitty protested.

"Fine." Phoebe said.

"Sister!" Kitty pleaded.

"Oh, relax it's not going to happen anyway." Phoebe said.

"So you're working with Lussy now too?" I asked.

"Yeah she just came over here on her own several minutes ago." Zari said.

"I need to get stronger too, and it just seems like a good day to train." Lussy said.

"It is, maybe you could train with us before you get too rusty?" Zari said.

"Ehhh, you know where that will lead." I said.

"You know it doesn't have too." She replied.

"Yeah, but the temptation." I said.

"You could fight me instead." Lussy suggested.

"Yeah, that's not even remotely fair." I replied.

"That's how you learn!" Zari said.

"Anyway what have you two been up too?" She asked Henry and Claire.

"We looked over his car, it's fine, and we've just kind of been wandering around, we talked to a few digimon." Claire said.

"Did they know anything interesting?" I asked.

"Not really no, most of them live pretty simple lives and the angels won't say anything about Ophanimon." Claire said.

"A few go out every day and gather wood, others gather cabbages, occasionally they throw new buildings together, sometimes they go out into the forest to play around. Sometimes they leave in search of new friends in other villages." Henry said.

"Have you seen Lilly and Violet around recently?" Phoebe asked.

"I think they just screw around all day, I'm serious they might have you two beat. I wanted to check on them this morning but, I could tell from the sounds they needed to be left alone." Zari said.

"Really?" Phoebe asked.

"Eh they'll either get really sore or board of it eventually." I said.

"True." Phoebe replied.

"What about Tabitha?" Zari asked.

"She's with Selly and Chally at the library." Lussy said.

"And Kiera's working with the mechanorimon on a little show." Phoebe said.

"Why are all the newbies split up today did something happen?" I asked.

"No we just all wanted to do our own things today." Lussy said.

"What kind of show?" Zari asked.

"A musical number." Phoebe said.

"You're kidding? With their voices?" Zari asked.

"This I gotta see." Henry said.

"We said she could stay with us to night if she could get them to put on a show so, we'll just have to see what happens." Phoebe said.

"How come I didn't get a deal like that?" Lussy asked.

"You weren't making them dance. You'll get yours just not tonight." Phoebe replied.

"So who is going to see the goddesses tonight?" Henry asked.

"Not me." I said.

"Right." Phoebe agreed.

"Anybody want to volunteer?" Henry asked.

"I'll go." Iceleomon said, taking a break from his sparring session.

"You can't drive and you can't fit in the car." Claire said.

"Oh, right." IceLeomon replied.

"I guess we'll go then." Henry said.

"Selly or Challey might go." Phoebe said.

"Can they drive?" Henry asked.

"We've been teaching them." Phoebe said.

"Claire and I will go, I'm not sure I want to trust them with my car." Henry said.

"Ok, that's fine." Phoebe said.

He barely trusted us with his car.

"Anybody else got anything to say or ask?" Zari said after everyone was quiet for a while.

"Not really no." Phoebe said.

"Ok I guess this meeting is over then." Zari said.

"Ok, Kitty why don't you spar against Saphy for a bit, I'm going to talk to Zari, and Cj just watch them I guess." Phoebe said.

"What are you going to talk to her about?" I asked.

"What do you think?" She replied.

"You're not bringing her into this." Kitty said.

"We're not, not right now." Phoebe said.

"And don't sell me out again." I said.

"I won't." She replied.

A few minutes later –

Iceleomon continued to spar with Ninjamon, though the little dude still didn't look like he could actually win he was going a lot longer without getting too beat up, so that was something.

Phoebe, Zari, Henry, and Claire were sitting off to the side. I didn't know what Phoebe's intentions were but I trusted her.

Kitty and Saphy were preparing to fight as I tried to get Kitty's head in the right place.

"What are they talking about?" She asked.

"I don't know, just know I love you enough that despite how I feel about her, I won't let her in if you're not comfortable with it, and that makes it two against one so she really can't accomplish much." I said.

"Good." She said.

"Now, get your head in the game, give Saphy your best, but remember, you're not trying to kill her. This is a friendly match, not a battle." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"Just making sure babe, good luck." I said before kissing her on the cheek and backing away.

"Ready?" Saphy asked.

"Let's do this!" Kitty replied.

"Um Cj?" Phoebe ask as she teleported in next to me.

"That was a quick conversation." I said.

"Yeah well, that's because I just realized we left that mechanorimon behind out in the forest." She said.

"Oh, well fuck." I replied.

"So maybe you could go see Kiera and get one of the others to tell it to come back?" She asked.

"Yeah, I probably should. Is she still where she was earlier?" I asked.

"I think so." Phoebe replied.

"Kitty Kat!" I called out to her as Phoebe went back over to Zari.

"What?" She asked as they stopped sparring for a moment.

"I need to go get that mechanorimon back over here, I'll be back in a few minutes or so." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

So I wandered off in the vague direction Kiera was supposed to be in. The mechanorimon were easy to spot so finding her wasn't too much of an issue. All I had to do was get one of the four other mechanorimon to send a message to the one we left behind to tell it it could come back.

"So you forgot you left it out there?" Kiera asked after I explained the situation.

"It just kind of happened you know? Anyway how's the show coming?" I asked.

"You know they have feelings too." She said.

"Yeah, that's why I came to get another one to tell it, it can come back." I replied.

"Yeah ok." She replied.

"So the show?" I asked.

"We're making progress, but no previews you have to wait until tonight." She said.

"Ok. Well, see you there then I guess." I replied.

"See you, and get ready you're going to be up all night." She replied.

"Ok then." I said.

"I'll get a shower, I'll get my nails done, I'm going to make you want me." Kiera said.

"You're welcome to try, and I like girls that know their way around machines, but you know Zari is first in line and neither Pheebles nor Kitty are even sure they want her in on this. " I said.

"I accept that challenge." She replied.

" Look, if the next world is civilized, and you and the other newbies could pair off with somebody that's not complete deadweight, that's fine, this harem thing was never meant to last forever." I replied.

"Yeah but, we're apparently immortal now, and whoever we find wouldn't be, and if we had kids they wouldn't be either, but if you father them . . . . " Kiera replied.

"Woah woah woah, slow down, we are a very, very long way from even considering that." I said.

"But I'm just saying, since we're both immortal, would they be immortal too?" Kiera asked.

"I don't know, but like I said, Zari is first in line and I'm not sure if Pheebles and Kitty are ever going to get around to letting her in. I like you. You are gorgeous. There's no reason you can't walk into a bar and have half a dozen love drunk idiots cater to your every need. But if this is the route you want to take, you're going to be waiting a long time." I replied.

"Well then it's good I have all the time." She replied.

"We'll see." I said with a laugh.

"You better be ready for tonight." She replied.

"See you then." I said.

I headed back over to the others without anything remotely worth mentioning happening. Kitty and Saphy were still fighting, and Phoebe still seemed to be talking with Zari.

"Whos winning?" I asked.

"I don't know, what's my health?" Kitty asked.

"You shouldn't be losing much health this is a friendly match." I said.

"Well then I don't know." Kitty replied.

"How tired are you?" I asked.

"A little bit." She replied.

"Saphy, how tired are you?" I asked.

"She's fast." Saphy replied, trying to catch her breath and obviously more exhausted.

"Yeah Kitty Kat, I think you're winning." I said.

"Why?" Saphy asked.

"You're more exhausted than she is, you're wearing yourself out faster." I replied.

"She hasn't managed to land any hits though." Saphy said.

"That's impressive but you're still tiring yourself out faster than she is. If this were a real fight you'd eventually slow down to the point where you can't dodge anymore and she'd end up hitting you. " I replied.

"But I gotta give you some credit, most of the enemies we've faced haven't been able to hold out this long." I said, assuming they were fighting the whole time I was gone.

"Yeah, you're pretty good and you're getting better." Kitty admitted.

"Well that's good atleast." She said.

"Yeah and remember, once we get out of this world, we're probably not going to be facing other digimon, just humanoids with guns and what not most of the time, if even." I said.

"So you think I'm good enough?" Saphy asked.

"Well for those guys yes, but you can always get stronger, and we'll never know what we'll be up against exactly so, you should both keep training." I said.

"What about you?" Kitty asked.

"Well, if you want me to go over there and wrestle around with Zari . . . " I said.

"No with me." She said.

"You know that isn't fair you're way stronger than me." I said.

"You're smarter." She said as she mischeviously grinned at me.

"Kitty kat, what are you thinking? " I asked.

She suddenly tackled me.

"Hey no, bad kitty, come on now." I said as she laughed.

I did manage to keep her from pinning me for quite a while because despite her strength I still had a weight advantage, but she would not let me back up.

"Arceus are they really making love right now?" Phoebe asked from a fair distance away.

"No, he still has his pants on." Zari replied.

"Oh, well what the heck are they doing then?" Phoebe asked.

"Go over there and find out." Zari suggested.

"Um, we'll just see where this goes." Phoebe replied.

"No, stay down." She said.

"No, get off." I replied.

"Ew your arms are all wet." I said when I realized.

"Yeah, cause Saphy." She replied.

"I thought you hated water." I said as I let her pin me so we could talk.

"Yeah, but, it's to help Saphy and, it's not that much is it?" She asked.

"I guess not if it's just your arms." I replied.

"And now your shirt." She said.

"Mhm, thanks for that." I replied.

"Sorry." She said.

"Why don't you let go of me and get back to your training?" I asked.

"You'll stay away from Zari?" She asked.

"Uh huh." I replied.

"You promise?" She asked.

"For today atleast." I replied.

"Ok, love you." She said, kissing me, prompting me pull her into an even deeper kiss because she had me hard as a rock at that moment.

"Really right now?" Saphy asked.

"No." Kitty said as she pulled away.

"Yeah, we're just kissing." I said.

"Mhm." Kitty agreed.

"Having fun?" Phoebe asked after apparently teleporting over here unseen.

"Yeah, but we're about to move on right Kitty Kat?" I asked.

"Mhm." She said as she got off of me.

"Do I get a kiss too?" Phoebe asked as I got back up.

"Of course, it's only fair. Come here." I replied as I pulled her close.

"Come on Saphy, one more round." Kitty said as she walked away.

"You want to go to the bus?" I whispered to her after kissing her.

"No, I appreciate the offer, but you have to wait until tonight silly boy." She whispered back.

"You done talking with Zari?" I asked.

"No I had to teleport away from her again cause it looked like you two were about to mess around." Phoebe said.

"Well, I am rock hard." I said.

"Well tough, blue balls for you. Now you know how it feels." She teasingly replied with a laugh.

"Well fuck." I said.

"Not until later." Phoebe joked.

"You going to go back over to finish talking with Zari? What are you even talking to her about?" I asked.

"Just trying to see how things could go, if, we let her in." Phoebe said.

"Okaaay." I replied.

"You want her, don't you?" She asked.

"I wouldn't mind it, but I can get by with you and Kitty so, it's up to you girls." I replied.

"We'll see." Phoebe said.

"And Kiera apparently wants in too." I said.

"Well she's going to have to wait a long time." Phoebe said.

"That's what I told her." I said.

"Great, now you need to stay away from her too." Phoebe said.

"Aren't we supposed to be with her tonight?" I replied.

"Yeah, if she does that whole show thing, but, I mean, other than that." She said.

"Ok, well, you know, it's not like me and Zari so." I said.

"I know, I know that very well, I don't know what you did, but Zari is in love with you." Phoebe said.

"Yeah well, I love her back, but you know you and Kitty come first." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"So it's mostly up to you two, and especially you." I said.

"I know that too." She replied.

"Why is your shirt all wet?" She asked a bit later.

"Saphy got Kitty wet and Kitty got me wet." I replied.

"Oh." She replied.

"It'll dry." I said.

"Yeah, just don't hug me." She replied.

"Awe, but that's one of my favorite things to do." I said.

"Well wait until your shirt dries." She replied.

"We could go to the bus and get a different one." I said.

"No, you're not taking me to the bus, what would Kitty think?" Phoebe said.

"I would owe you one, whenever you need it." I said.

"Nope, you can wait until tonight." She replied.

"Ah come on really?" I asked.

"Cj I'm not changing my mind this time so let it go." She said.

"But Pheebles." I said while attempting to give her the eyes.

"Cj you need to wait for tonight." She said giving me the eyes.

"God dammit you're too cute." I said.

"Mhm." She cutely replied.

"Come here." I said.

"No your shirt's all wet you weirdo." She said.

"Maybe Kitty will hug you again after she's done playing with Saphy." Phoebe said.

"Maybe she'll go to the bus with me too." I said, teasingly.

"Forget it, you don't have my permission, and she won't do that to me either." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, you're right." I replied.

"Goodboy, now I'm going to go continue to talk with Zari and you're going to stay here and keep Kitty from hurting Saphy too much, and you are going to keep your thing, in your pants." She said as she quickly kissed me on the cheek.

I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her into another kiss.

"Don't get my dress wet." She said.

"Cj she just hit me what's my health at?" Kitty asked.

"You done?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Ok see you in a few minutes or so." Phoebe said before kissing me on the cheek and pulling away.

"Cj?" Kitty asked.

"I gotcha, don't worry Kitty Kat." I said as I got my digivice out.

"You're at 99% and healing. " I said, unamused.

"That's all? 1%?" Saphy asked.

"Probably not even since there's no decimal point literally any hit would make it say 99. It's just a punch I assume after all. You hit her in the side or something? " I said.

"Yeah she hit my side." Kitty replied.

"You sore? Do we need healing cream?" I asked, curious how much she wanted to be babied.

"Nooo, it hurt when she hit, it doesn't anymore." Kitty replied trying to hide the fact that she was really only making a deal of it for attention.

"Ok well, anyway, you're not supposed to be hurting each other, ladies." I said.

"It just kind of happened." Saphy said.

"Yeah you know she's all slippery." Kitty said.

"Allright, then carry on." I said.

"What's my health at?" Saphy asked.

"I don't know, this won't tell me yours, ask Pheebles." I replied.

"She's already back over there with the others, let's just keep going." Saphy said.

"You feeling sore anywhere at all?" I asked.

"Not really, just tired." Saphy said.

"You're probably fine then. Take a break if you get too tired or start feeling sore." I said.

"Ok." Saphy replied.

"So, you need me to stand here all by myself?" I asked.

"You can go bug Phoebe if you want, just keep watching." Kitty said.

"Any specific way you want me to bug her?" I asked.

"I don't know just make her go crazy." Kitty replied.

"I'll do my best." I said with a smile.

"Cj what are you doing over here?" Phoebe asked.

"Kitty told me to bug you." I said, playfully.

"No she didn't, you're lying." Phoebe replied.

"Well she said I could." I admitted.

"That's better." She replied.

"So I will!" I said cheerfully.

"Don't hug me you're still wet." She said, pulling away from me as I attempted to.

"How you doing today?" Zari asked.

"I'm allright, this conversation going good?" I asked.

"It was until you came over and interrupted." Phoebe said.

"So I ruined it?" I asked.

"No you just interrupted it." Phoebe replied.

"Ok so why don't we start a new one then?" I asked.

"About what?" She asked.

"I don't know, do you have any ideas?" I asked.

"Why do you wanna bug me?" She asked.

"Because I love you and you know you do the same to me." I said.

"Yeah I do don't I? I wish you weren't wet so I could squish you right now." She replied.

"Well I'm going to squish you anyway." I teased.

"No, don't you dare." Phoebe said.

"You can squish me, I don't care if I get a little wet." Zari said.

"Not today. He's mine." Phoebe said as she apparently forgot I was wet and possessively hugged me anyway.

"He's my. Still very wet, actually closer to just damp now Cj. Eheh." She said, with an awkward laugh indicating she was unsure whether she wanted to continue to cling to me or not.

"Awwe I wuv you too Pheebles." I teased as I hugged her a bit tighter and kissed her on the cheek.

"We should probably pay more attention to our digimon." Phoebe said.

"I told them to take a break if they got sore or tired." I said.

"Hey an angemon is coming over here." Zari said.

"Oh, maybe we'll finally get an update on Ophanimon." I replied.

"It's about time." Phoebe added as we let go of each other.

"Ophanimon wants to talk to us?" I guessed when he was close enough to hear.

"Uh, yeah, actually, and the digimon need to come too." Angemon said.

"I'll go tell the big guy." Zari said.

"Right." I replied as she got up and headed over in IceLeomon's direction.

"Kitty! Saphy! Stop playing around and come over here!" Phoebe yelled.

"What?" Kitty yelled back.

"Come over here!" Phoebe yelled.

They both started to make their way towards us so they apparently understood.

A couple minutes later everyone that was there was following the angemon back over to the palace, as they had nothing better to do at the moment.

"You think she's ready to send us out of here?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know, wouldn't she want our entire group for that? " I asked.

"True." Phoebe replied.

"What if she has decided to just send you away and split us up forever?" Kitty asked.

"Why would she go silent for all this time just to do that?" I asked her.

"Besides, Kitty Kat, you know we've been over this before, we have other options. I'm not leaving here without you, I promise you that." I whispered to her so the angemon leading the way wouldn't hear. While Phoebe quietly nodded in agreement.

"Maybe you got her pregnant?" Henry said, jokingly.

"If that were possible Kitty would have a metric ton of kids by now." I said.

"Nononono I should not be a mother." Kitty said.

"Yeah but all the guys you've been with, would you have said know if you knew, I mean, you probably didn't even know for the first few times right?" I said.

"Yeah." She shamefully admitted.

"Kitty babe, you know I love you. It's ok." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"You still all wet?" I asked.

"I'll fix it real quick." She replied before taking a moment to digivolve to her other form and back.

"There, all dry and clean." She replied.

"Sorry about that." Saphy said.

"It's fine. I thought it would happen before we started, but we're friends, so yeah." Kitty replied.

"Yeah she's good at getting others wet." Phoebe said, causing Saphy and I to stare her awkwardly.

"Really? Kitty's the only one that doesn't have her mind in the gutter?" She asked when she realized.

"You know exactly what you're saying." I replied.

"Yeah." Kitty agreed.

We were lead into Ophanimon's throne room, where three strange data clouds hovered in front of her. Data clouds without the silhouette of a defeated digimon.

"What's all this about?" I asked.

"It took a lot of code manipulation and a lot of time, but, I found a way I could allow to leave." Ophanimon said.

"As data clouds?" Kitty asked.

"No, listen, these clouds are special, if you absorb one, you should be able to take on human form which will hide any evidence of your actual origin. Atleast in theory." Ophanimon replied.

"Is it permanent?" I asked.

"No they can change back anytime, but please don't unless you have to it will blow your cover and I don't know what will happen if you do." Ophanimon said.

"Probably nothing, Pheebles isn't human and we've visited several worlds without any issue." I said.

"Yeah well, I can't take that risk considering we just avoided one apocalypse, I don't want to invite another. So if you three take these, and promise you'll use them, I can send you all out of here today." Ophanimon said.

"Ok." Kitty replied as she stepped forward and started to absorb the cloud that was closest to her.

"What gives?" She asked after absorbing the cloud and nothing more happened.

"Oh um, you have to de-digivolve, your human form is now your champion form." Ophanimon explained.

"So I can't be a mikemon anymore?" Kitty asked.

"Right, but you never go back to that form anyway right?" Ophanimon asked.

"Right." She replied.

"Ok, let's do this." She said before she started to change to her new human form the first time. She stayed about the same size, but lost all her digimon attributes except her hair which stayed red despite her appearing to be of what we would consider Arabian descent. That said, it was close enough. She also lost the jewelry she normally wore and her hair was no longer braided.

"So how do I Io. . . . ." She began to ask.

"You're butt-naked." I interrupted her as everyone stared.

"Oh fuck." She said.

"Change back." I said as she lit up in embarrassment.

"I'm trying come on dammit." She said, extremely embarrassed.

"Yeah I probably should have mentioned they don't come with clothes. That would kind of be a dead giveaway. You know?" Ophanimon said as Kitty turned back into a persiamon and quickly returned to my side.

"You think?" Zari asked.

"You couldn't have said that earlier?" Kitty asked, annoyed.

"Looks like we get to go clothes shopping!" Phoebe said.

"Ok nobody else go human until we get some more clothes." I said.

"So you want to leave now or?" Ophanimon.

"No we need to get our group together and they need clothes before we leave. Also is there anything else you might want to tell us about these forms?" I said.

"Like what?" Ophanimon asked.

"Well can, she get pregnant now?" I asked, awkwardly.

"What's that mean?" Ophanimon asked.

"Can she have kids?" Phoebe elaborated.

"I don't know if she'd be a good mother or not." Ophanimon said.

"Why does it matter? I don't want to be a mother." Kitty said.

"Because I don't want to accidently knock you up." I whispered to her before affectionately kissing her on the cheek.

"Oh." She replied.

"But can she get pregnant and have kids now that she has a human form?" I asked.

"I'm sorry I don't know. I don't think I understand." Ophanimon replied.

"I still don't know, I wanted to make them as human looking as possible but whether that can happen is beyond me. Any further questions?" Ophanimon said.

"Not really." I said.

"Allright then I guess you should all come back here when you're ready leave, I'll tell my guards to let you in at the gate." Ophanimon said.

"Ok." I replied.

"I think we'll come back tomorrow then." Phoebe said.

"How come?" Claire asked.

"Because we're getting into the evening now, if the next world turns out to be a war zone we should atleast all be well rested. Besides this way we can still see Kiera's show." Phoebe said.

"That's fine with me, you can stay here as long as you need." Ophanimon said, unaware of the reality.

"Allright, we'll go tell the others then." Henry said.

"Ok. And then we can take you over to where Kiera has been working with the mechanorimon all day and see how good of a show she can put on." Phoebe said.

So we left the palace and headed straight for the maker machines while Henry, Claire and Lussy went off to inform the others of the change of plans. Saphy and Zari tagged along with us as well, Iceleomon was going to, but his wives led him away from the group, wanting to get some privacy to try out his new form as soon as possible. As they were both guessing this meant he would actually be able to screw them now as his thing had been too big for either of them and they had only ever had oral sex. Of course Phoebe picked up on this and advised that we all leave them alone.

"Where are they going?" Kitty asked.

"I think they're going to um, mess around with his new form." Phoebe said.

"Really?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, I can see it in their heads." Phoebe said.

"What if he gets them pregnant? Does that mean I can have kids now too?" Kitty asked.

"Hopefully they know better than that, but yeah if that happens then we'll have to assume you can and you'll have to use condoms every time you sleep with Cj in your human form atleast." Phoebe said.

"That's it?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, and maybe we'll get you some pills too." Phoebe said.

"Did you feel any different as a human?" I asked.

"Not anymore different then it feels when I change form. I don't know I wasn't in that form long enough to tell." Kitty said.

"You think she can feel if she can get pregnant or not?" Phoebe asked.

"I have no idea maybe she can feel if she has ovaries or something I don't know." I replied.

"You just need to be quiet now." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, I figured." I replied.

"I think I felt colder." Kitty said.

"That could've been because you were naked too."

"Anyway Kitty Kat, it looked like you were about the same size in that form so the same size clothes should work." Phoebe said.

"I think so." I agreed.

"But what am I supposed to wear?" Kitty asked.

"Zari and I can help you with that we'll help you and Saphy pick out a bunch of things, then we'll go to the bus and you can try them on and Cj can go get us more blue and green digiroot that we need to make more clothes." Phoebe said.

"Ok." Kitty replied.

"Why do I get the sucky job?" I asked.

"Because you love us and know nothing about women's clothing." She said.

"I know what makes girls look good." I said.

"Just go." Phoebe replied.

"I hope you like slip ons." I said to Kitty somewhat jokingly.

They weren't ugly, but aside from a few fancier dresses they were pretty much my beloved's entire wardrobe.

"They're easy to put on!" Phoebe said.

"And take off." I replied.

"Yeah, that too." She awkwardly agreed.

"Please go get some digiroot for us there's not much left in the bins." Phoebe said after a brief period of silence.

"By myself ?" I asked.

"Mhm." Phoebe said.

"What if I get hurt?" I asked, not because I was afraid but because going out into the forest alone to look for blue and green digiroot flowers seemed really boring.

"I'm sure you'll be fine." She replied.

"I can help them pick some things out if you two want to go out there together." Zari said.

"Oh, ok, let's go then Cj." Phoebe replied.

"Thankyou." I mouther to Zari.

Of course using the maker machines just by themselves was a lot different from the dedicated clothing stores as they would literally have to scroll through everything from kitchen sinks to electric motors to get to the clothes and it was hard to imagine how many different articles of clothing there were. That and there was no somewhat knowledgeable clerk running the machines, so it would take a lot longer. You also usually don't have to worry about supplying them with raw materials. The specialty shops definitely have their place, even though there isn't very many of them.

"So, um, they both have human forms now." I said once we had wandered out of town.

"Mhm. I wasn't expecting that at all. So are we going to break them in or what?" Phoebe replied.

I was wondering if she would ask me before I asked her.

"Well we, already had plans tonight." I said.

"Yeah well, Kitty will be there so Saphy might as well come too." Phoebe said.

"So we should start soon then, if we want to get some sleep tonight because we'll probably be in a different world tomorrow." I said.

"Yeah, we can't afford to be tired can we?" She asked.

"No, we can't." I said.

"Maybe we should just call it off until we know what the next world has in store." Phoebe said.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'll let Kitty sleep with us tonight though." Phoebe said.

"Ok." I replied.

"Now we just have to tell Kiera." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, she'll probably be pretty pissed." I said.

"Oh, she'll understand." Phoebe replied.

"You think so?" I asked.

"Yes, of course, it's for her safety too." Phoebe said.

"Allright well, guess it's going to be a boring night then." I said.

"Mhm, but it's for the best maybe in the morning we can play with Kitty." Phoebe said.

"Maybe, if she wakes up in time." I replied.

"You know, we're all alone out here so I mean, if you don't want to wait so long." I said.

"Nooo Cj." She said.

"This is probably our last day in the digital world, last chance to make love on the soft, bug-free grass. You remember what real grass is like? It's all scratchy and there's bugs everywhere." I said.

"On your world, not mine." She said.

"Yeah, but, we don't know when we'll get back to either of them. Next world will probably have the crappy scratchy bug kind of grass." I said.

Then she decided to kiss me.

"There we go." I said.

"Let's do it, but let's find the flowers first atleast, while I can use my powers." She said.

"Ok." I replied.

"I'll see how many I can spot from the air." Phoebe said.

"You can try." I replied.

The blue ones can be easy to spot, but the green ones kind of blend in with the grass and are the hardest to spot of all the varieties, they also look more like an onion above the surface than a flower though the actual root part is nearly identical to all the others.

She teleported up looked around as she hovered for a bit and then teleported somewhere else I couldn't see at the moment.

She came back about a minute later with several digiroots in her arms.

"There's a bunch of them around." She said.

They look like carrots but come in a variety of colors. They are technically edible, but they work the opposite way as the cabbages, the cabbages try to taste good, digiroot, regardless of color, tastes horrible, something every digimon learns eventually. So they're only ever used to craft various things, never to eat.

"You think that's enough?" I asked.

"Well we need to find some green ones and, some more blues wouldn't hurt, we should try to make it actually look like we did something other than each other." She said.

"True." I replied.

The green ones were harder to spot, possibly the hardest out of all the varieties, as they were very similar in color to the grass and looked more like onions than flowers. Phoebe could spot easily spot the blue ones from the sky, so finding them was pretty easy and after half an hour we had quite a big pile, as well as a few greens.

"You think that's enough now?" I asked.

"It's about as much as we can carry back." She said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Ok, starting like this is always so awkward." She said.

"Well come here, we'll start with a kiss and just work our way into it." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"You know I still love you more than anything baby girl." I said after we kissed.

"I really love you too." She said as I kissed her cheeks.

"Here lay down with me for a moment, we'll take our sweet time." I said.

"Not too much time though or Zari and our digimon will get suspicious." She said as I laid down on the grass.

"I know, but forget about them for now, remember when it was just us?" I asked as she laid down beside me.

"Every day." She replied.

"I don't want to go back, but at the same time, things were so much simpler then." I said.

"Yeah, we didn't even know there were so many universes." She said.

"Exactly." I said.

"But we can't go back now, we can only move forward and hope we'll make it back home someday." She said a few seconds later.

"Right." I agreed.

"So what's your biggest regret in all of this?" She asked.

"That we couldn't find you while Ronnie was still alive." I replied.

"But then you and Kitty wouldn't have gotten so close." She pointed out.

"True, that is a good point." I said.

"So maybe it was meant to be." Phoebe said.

"Maybe, who knows?" I replied.

"Well I know one thing for sure, we were never meant to live normal lives." She said.

"That's probably true." I agreed.

"What's your greatest regret, that you never hooked up with whoever?" I asked.

"No, I don't regret that at all because now you're in debt to me forever!" She teased.

"Fair enough." I replied with a laugh.

"What about letting Kitty be our virara?" I asked.

"Not at all, we're all happy this way." She replied.

'You know? I don't think I really have any regrets. I used to regret dragging us all into this, but, we saved atleast two universes and it all turned out so well." She said after a brief period of silence.

"Well, that's nice to know." I said.

"So were you able to read Kitty while she was human?" I asked.

"I didn't check, because she was naked and I couldn't focus." Phoebe replied.

"Weren't we supposed to have sex or something?" She asked.

"Eh, sometimes it's nice enough just to talk to you for a bit." I replied.

"Awwwe, Cj." She said as she got on top of me.

"Let's get started already, we can't be out here all evening. Come here, I love you." She said before kissing me on the cheek after we got lost in each other's eyes for a moment.

"Love you too, you sweet thing." I replied.

"Your sweet baby girl." She said, playfully.

"Oh hell yes." I replied before we kissed again.

"You gonna show me how sweet you are?" I asked.

"Mhm, are you going to show me?" She asked.

"You know it baby." I replied.

"Let's get it out then." She said as she made her way down.

"Ok." I replied somewhat surprised how fast this was escalating.

-several romantic minutes of lovemaking later.-

We snuggled on the soft grass completely naked for a few minutes, not afraid of any bugs in the slightest because there were none here, then we got dressed, gathered up all the digiroots that we could carry and headed back to the village.

"Here we found all these." I said, dumping them in an empty crate nearby the maker machines.

"You think that will be enough?" Zari asked as I tried to keep my distance from Kitty because odds were she'd be able to find out what we had been doing and wouldn't think twice about blurting it out.

"I hope so, it took us so long to find all of those." Phoebe lied.

"You pick out any clothes yet?" I asked.

"A few." Kitty replied.

"Yeah but we already ran out of materials." Saphy said.

"Well go load them up, we brought more." Phoebe said.

"Why didn't you?" Saphy asked.

"We didn't know you were out already." Phoebe replied as I started to shove digiroots into the machine's material port that seemed unnaturally bottomless to the point where I was somewhat afraid of sticking my arm down in it too far for fear it would just get sheared off and disappear into the void. Whether that was actually a thing that could happen was not worth testing for obvious reasons. Then again digimon used these machines all the time so they were probably safe.

"There you should be able to make some more now." I replied.

"Great" Saphy replied.

Saphy got a few shirts, some skirts, some pants, a few slip on dresses similar to the ones Phoebe wore all the time, but sized more for her, she also had her fancy dress as well as a coat which would probably also fit her human form. Kitty got as close of a copy to her persiamon outfit as she could, as well as some more normal shirts and pants, she also had a jacket she wore when we were up north, which she could easily wear as a human as well. She also had a fancier dress and a bikini for her Lilithmon form but her proportions were so different in that form she could only wear them in that form.

At some point Iceleomon showed up with his wives who were all trying to hide the fact they just screwed each other's brains out, but unlike Phoebe and I didn't seem to be fooling anyone, especially not Pheebles since she could read his wives atleast. Then again, maybe they thought the same way we did and we were all obvious as hell. Anyway, while they took their turn looking for clothes for him on the maker machines, the four of us headed to the bus so the digibabes could try on their newly acquired human clothes.

"So how do I look now?" Kitty asked as she emerged from the bus in her human form, fully dressed now.

"You look like somebody trying to cosplay as a persiamon." I said.

"Kind of ruins the whole point of the disguise. Doesn't it? " Phoebe said.

"I don't think most people will make the connection. Especially if the next universe doesn't have a proxy of digimon." I said.

"I mean it has always been a cute outfit, but." She said.

"But what?" I asked.

"I don't know thought she'd try something new?" Phoebe asked.

"She insisted on that one." Zari said." But she got some other clothes too."

"Yeah why don't you try some of your others on now Kitty Kat?" Phoebe asked.

"Ok." Kitty replied before heading back inside the bus.

"I like those flip flops, really sexy." I said, making her laugh before she disappeared from view.

"You have a weakness for girls in flip flops." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, I mean, fuck she has sexy feet in that form too." I said.

"You think she can sweat now?" I asked.

"Ok that's enough of that you horny bastard." Zari replied.

"Yeah that's enough." Phoebe said.

"See I can take that from Zari, you it's like a whole pot and kettle situation." I said.

"A what?" Zari asked.

"It's an old saying, it's like a pot calling a kettle black when they're both black." I said.

"Ok." Zari replied.

Saphy popped out a few seconds later wearing what were basically clothes a normal woman would wear, also she was inexplicably a blondie with short curly somewhat silvery hair and somewhat pale skin, still a cutey all in all.

"Saphy? You're a blonde?" I asked, not sure what I was expecting her to be as she has light aqua hair as an Oceanamon and as a Ranamon she nearly always wears a helmet I've never actually seen her take off. That said, in contrast to Kitty's, her human form was nearly unrecognizable.

"I guess this form is, yes." She replied.

"Awwwe, you're adorable!" Phoebe cheered.

"Um thanks." Saphy said, shyly.

"Yeah, you're as cute as ever." I said, unsure what else to say.

"Eh, you look allright, almost too normal." Zari said.

She was one tiny blonde that's for sure.

"So do I need to try on the others or am I good?" Saphy asked.

"Whatever you want to do." Phoebe said.

"I think this is good for now." Saphy replied.

"I'm going to change back. Zari can you help me train some more?" Saphy asked.

"Ok, it's getting kind of late for that though and Kiera's probably going to do her whole show soon with the mechanorimon" Zari replied.

"Oh, right, that's ok then." Saphy replied as she headed back inside the bus.

"Wait Pheebles before I forget, can you read them in their human form?" I asked, curious as to how human they really were now.

"Yes but no." Phoebe said.

"Huh?" I asked wondering what that was supposed to mean.

"I can hear something now, but it's like they're thinking in a different language, so I can't understand what I'm hearing, it's weird. But unlike with other languages the images in their head that I would normally be able to use get a decent grasps on their language, are indescribable as well. Yet they speak the same language we do. I don't understand it, it's beyond me. It's like if you just thought of nothing but radio static and snowy tv screens. I guess I can sort of track them now, but I still can't read them." She said.

"Ok, so, how about, I get Kitty you get Saphy tonight?" I asked.

"I don't know, you hornball we'll talk about that later." Phoebe said.

"What about me?" Zari asked.

"If we're leaving tomorrow we need to take it easy tonight, we don't know what we could be up against in the next world." Phoebe said.

"Awe so the thing with Kiera is off then too?" Zari asked.

"Yep." Phoebe said.

"You think she'll still do the whole show thing you asked for?" Zari asked.

"No idea, then again it's not really off, it's just kind of postponed." Phoebe replied.

"Yeah because we might need to fight like hell against alien robots tomorrow or we might end up at a five star resort, who even knows?" I asked.

"But you want Kitty." Phoebe said.

"You know I can't get enough of either of you regardless of what form she's in." I said.

"And Zari, Zari is great too." I added since she glared at me like she expected me to include her somehow.

"Maybe someday." Phoebe said as Kitty emerged from the bus.

"So how about this?" Kitty asked, now wearing a somewhat pinkish red shirt with no sleeves, and some

jeans of all things.

"Yeah now you pretty much just look like a sexy human woman." I said.

"Yeah, pretty much." Phoebe replied.

"So how long are you gonna stay in that form?" I asked.

"Only as long as I need to, sorry Cj, it kind of sucks, how do you even deal with this? I feel all weak, I can't smell anything, and I'm freezing, like do you always feel this cold how the hell? Next I'll probably have to go to the bathroom now or get hungry or something." She said.

"You get used to it." Phoebe said.

"You want to take a hot shower? It will warm you right up." I asked.

"No, I want to curl up with you and some blankets." She replied.

" Not right now, we have to tell Kiera that tonight has been postponed, and then we'll go a and lead the others to her so they can see the show too, we'll just have our own little party I guess, for our last night here.." Phoebe said.

"Do we really all have to go?" Kitty asked.

"Well I'm definitely not leaving Cj here alone with you. And yes, you should? You are a part of our group aren't you?" Phoebe said.

"Yeah, I guess. Ok, maybe later then?" She asked.

"Maybe." Phoebe said.

"Cj?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Can I go back to being a persiamon for now?" She asked.

"Whatever you're comfortable with." I said.

"Thanks, I'll go put these clothes away then." She replied.

"Allright we'll wait out here for you and Saphy." Phoebe said as she went back inside.

"You know Ophanimon probably intends for them to stay in those forms atleast as long as we're in the next world." Zari said.

"Yep." Phoebe agreed.

"But when we're there she'll have no way of knowing. Unless you buy into that crap about getting attention from an unwanted deity there's not much point in forcing them to stay in their new forms." I pointed out.

"Not to mention there might not be any humans in the next world so relying on them as a disguise is almost worthless." Phoebe said.

"So they don't really have to stay in that form very long." I said.

"Right." Phoebe replied.

Kitty and Saphy came back out together and we started following Phoebe over to where Kiera was.

"With you girls in my arms I feel Iike a damned Rockstar." I said as I walked with Pheebles in one arm and Kitty in the other, just for the hell of it.

"Ok." Phoebe said with a laugh.

"Then you got me and Saphy too." Zari said.

"Not really." Saphy objected.

"But I only have two arms." I said.

"I think if we all worked together we could each grab a limb and carry you." Zari joked.

"I don't know, he's pretty heavy." Phoebe said.

"You could use your powers." Zari said.

"Yeah, then we probably could." Phoebe said.

"Pretty sure Kitty could carry me herself, she'd just need you to keep me balanced." I replied.

"No way! You can walk. Lazy!" Kitty said, teasingly.

"Really KItty kat? You're calling me lazy?" I asked.

"Um, I don't know." She said, sounding somewhat embarrassed.

"Aren't you the one that falls asleep all the time?" Phoebe asked her.

"Yeah even Pheebles has my side on this." I said.

"Sorry." She replied.

"Eh it's allright. I still love you both." I said as I squeezed them close.

"Ok closing act, take it from the top." We heard Kiera say as we approached her.

"Hey wait a minute." Phoebe said.

"Cut! Cut Cut! No previews!" Kiera said.

"Affirmative!" One of the mechanorimon said.

"What?" She asked once the mechanorimon stood still.

"I just want you to know that we're probably going to postpone tonight so we can get more sleep, because I don't know if the others told you yet but we could be heading into a new world tomorrow." Phoebe said.

"Oh we're finally getting out of here, ok. What about the show though?" She asked.

"You can still do the show, we'll just postpone your reward until we know we've made it somewhere safe." Phoebe said.

"Ok, good." Kiera replied.

"Is it ready?" Phoebe asked.

"Almost, if you want to go and gather everyone." Kiera said.

"Are you going to record it on your camera?" Kiera asked.

"Great." Kiera replied.

Thankfully, even though they don't act very intelligent, the mechanorimon had a genius level memory so they didn't have to practice too much. If it weren't for that writing and putting on a show in this short of a timespan would've been nearly impossible.

"Ok, we can do that I'll go get my camera and we'll get everyone gathered up too. You keep working!" Phoebe replied.

"That's what I've been doing for the past several hours." Kiera said.

"Wait before you leave." Kiera said before we could.

"What?" I asked.

"Do you think these guys could get human forms too?" Kiera asked.

"I don't know, you could ask Ophanimon but that might mean we have to stay here a few more days. It took her awhile to make them for these two and IceLeomon. And you'd be asking for 5 more?" I replied.

"I'll talk to her about it then, either after the show or tomorrow." Kiera said.

"Ok, sounds cool, but we might not want to wait for it." I replied.

"As long as we don't have to stay here too much longer, the goddesses will get antsy, or the Bubblemen could find us." Phoebe said.

"Right, we'll see." Kiera said.

"Allright, let me just get my camera real quick." Phoebe said before teleporting away, presumably to the bus for a minute or so before coming back with her camera.

"Allright I got my camera, come on everybody, everyone else is over at the library." Phoebe said.

"You don't think we should bring the mechanorimon with us?" Zari said as we left Kiera and began to walk towards the church where the library was.

"Do we really want to wait here another few days?" I asked.

"It's not hurting us and you know they are a valuable asset." Zari said.

"But Zari, the Bubblemen are here, they could find this place at any time, and if they do, they might blow our whole secret with the goddesses out of the water." Phoebe said.

"That and the goddesses might get tired of waiting around too." I said.

"Mhm, did it seem like they were while you were with Venusmon?" Phoebe said.

"I don't know, you're the one that can read people." I said.

"I wasn't there though." She replied.

"Exactly." I said.

"So, if the mechanorimon get human forms, do you think they'll have the same voices as humans?" Saphy asked.

"Wouldn't be a very good disguise if they did." I said.

"Arceus I hope not." Phoebe said.

"Was my voice the same?" Kitty asked.

"Pretty much yeah, you're already pretty close to human though, and so is Saphy, but maybe slightly less and IceLeomon quite a bit less, but the mechanorimon, are not even remotely human at all. So who even knows what they would look like." I said.

"What do you think Iceleomon's human form is like?" Zari asked.

"Probably a total muscle head, we'll see it eventually I'm sure. Or you could ask his wives, they already slept with him" Phoebe said.

"I thought that was why they abruptly headed off into the forest earlier." Zari said.

"Yep." Phoebe replied.

"And then you went with Cj." Kitty said.

"Oh really?" Zari asked.

"Yeah her smell is all over him." Kitty said.

"So you had enough time to go out there and have sex and for your boobs to go back to normal, but we were almost running short on digiroot?" Zari pointed out, only to be ignored.

"Kitty keep quiet about that." Phoebe said, somewhat embarrassed.

"I don't wanna." She replied, mischievously.

"Well do it because you love Cj and don't want to embarrass him." Phoebe said.

"That doesn't stop you." I replied.

"True." She admitted, now even more embarrassed.

"Exactly!" Kitty teased.

"I guess I'll just have to take you out there then." I said.

"Mhm." Kitty eagerly replied.

"Not right now!" Phoebe said.

"Yeah, we gotta see the show, and then it will be dark so." I said.

"You should just come and sleep with us tonight instead." Phoebe said.

"Ok. I'll be quiet about it." She replied, fully satisfied with that answer.

"Good sister." Phoebe said.

"But we won't." Zari said.

"I will, I don't know about her." Saphy said.

"Yes you will!" Kitty said with threatening malice, briefly showing her darkside for a moment.

"Ok, dam, didn't know you could get all scary like that." Zari replied.

"Should we say something?" Phoebe asked me telepathically, somewhat concerned.

"Nah its fine, she got her point across." I said.

"She's never like that with you is she?" Phoebe asked.

"No, never, Zari just kind of got out of line." I replied.

"Yeah, she kind of did. Then again so did she and I didn't snap like that." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, well, she's not you." I replied.

"Are you two talking to each other in your brains again?" Kitty asked.

"Babe, we're just talking about how adorable your new form is and how we can't wait for tonight." I said.

"Awwe, ok." She said as Phoebe tried not to laugh.

"I love her, she's an idiot, but I love her." I thought.

"I know." Phoebe replied with a hint of jealousy

"Oh baby girl, since she can't hear this, you also know you're always my number one." I said as I pulled her close and huggled her a bit.

She made a happy noise while squeezing me back just a bit like the cutey she was.

Anyway eventually we made it to the church and the library inside without much further discussion of note, and then Phoebe led our entire group back over to Kiera and the mechanorimon.

"Lilly? Violet? Where have you been all day?" Phoebe asked.

"Together." Violet answered awkwardly.

"Where'd you find them Henry?" Phoebe asked.

"They were staying in the house across from ours, I don't think they left all day." Henry said.

"Are you coming with us to the next world? Ophanimon might need to get you a human form if you want to come. It's up to you though." Phoebe said.

"We can go together?" Violet asked.

"Yes." Phoebe replied.

"Ok then we'll go." Violet replied.

"Yeah." Lilly agreed.

"Then you need to talk to Ophanimon, she won't let you leave without a human form." Phoebe said.

"Where is she?" Violet asked.

"In her palace, I'll show you later it's cloaked so you can't see it unless you're right next to it." Phoebe said.

"I need one too." Tabitha said.

"Then you can come too." Phoebe said.

"She might not let me go though because I'm an angel digimon." Tabitha said.

"Well I don't know what to say then." Phoebe replied.

"But I need to get out of here with you I can't get caught in this battle with the goddesses." Tabitha said.

"Well, we'll see what we can do after the show ok?" Phoebe asked.

"Ok." Tabitha replied, anxiously.

"Anyway, Lilly, Violet, I get that you two are in love but you might want to slowdown just a little bit." Phoebe said.

"That's rich coming from you." I teased.

"You be quiet." She said to me.

"Why?" Lilly asked her.

"Because you need to find other things you enjoy because sex will get boring after a while if you have it all the time." Phoebe said.

"Maybe we just need Cj to help add some variety." Violet teased.

"What?" I asked.

"No. Cj is my Cj, and even if I let you play with him, you'll still get bored." Phoebe said as she hugged me possessively.

"Awwe, love you too Pheebles." I said before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Eventually we made it back over to Kiera, who was still doing some last minute rehearsal things. All the mechanorimon were now wearing a variety of comically large hats upon the glass domes on their "heads"

"Ok, guys, I don't know how well this is going to go, I've never seen how the whole thing works together and makes a show. So that part might go completely wrong, but, here's the best I was able to do today. Here goes nothing, 683, Act one, scene one." Kiera said as she stood in front of the rest of the group.

"RIGHT NOW?" 683 asked.

"In like ten seconds let me join the others first." Kiera said.

"AFFIRMATIVE." 683 replied as Kiera joined the crowd.

"DO THE HAPPY ROBOT DANCE! SHAKE YOUR CHROME MOLYBDENUM PANTS!"

"ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU READY FOR THE SHOW? ARE YOU READY ARE YOU READY ARE YOU READY TO GO? I'MA I'MA I'MA I'MA SHINY METAL MAN, NOT ANOTHER SODA-FILLED ALUMINUM CAN. EVERYWHERE I GO, PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK THE SAME THING, SHINY METAL MAN CAN YOU BRING US THE BLING BLING? WALKING DOWN THE STREET, PEOPLE PASSING ME BY WONDERING WONDERING IF SUCH AS SHINY MAN EVER CAUGHT THEIR EYE. SUCH A SHINY SUCH A SHINY SUCH A SHINY METAL THING, DO THE DANCE DO THE DANCE DO THE SHINY ROBOT DANCE, YOU CAN DO IT TOO IF YOUR SHAKE YOUR SHINY METAL PANTS." 4 of them sang in unison and in perfect harmony, she actually got three of them to change the pitch of their voices, which was, kind of unexpected, in fact up to that point I didn't even know they could do that because they only ever spoke in the same overly loud monotone robotic voice we've all come to somewhat despise.

"NO." The fifth one said, causing the others to stop.

"HOW DARE YOU DEFY THE COMMAND TO DANCE!" The middle right one of the other four said, it was wearing a beret.

"I WILL NOT DANCE, IT IS NOT COOL." Said the defiant fifth one, which distinguished itself by wearing a comically large baseball cap.

"YOU ARE A FOOL, DANCING IS COOL! YOU MUST DANCE WITH US" The beret wearing one, who now seemed to be the apparent leader of the other four said.

"NO! I WILL NOT, PERISH THE THOUGHT! DANCING WILL MAKE MY SERVOS RUN HOT!" The rogue said.

"THEN YOU WILL LOSE THE COOLNESS COMPETITION ON WEDNESDAY." The leader said.

"NO YOU WILL LOSE, I WILL BEAT YOU WITHOUT DANCING." It before walking off to the left, leaving the stage, so to speak, as there was no stage we were just in an open area of the village with some floodlights focused on it as it was about to get dark. then the other four walked away to the right. As some civilian digimon came up to see what was going on. One that was wearing a top hat, and had no lines up to this point, removed its hat and came back alongside the one with the baseball cap.

"FATHER UNIT, I HAVE MADE IT HOME." The rogue said.

"AFFIRMATIVE, HOW WAS SCHOOL?" It's "father" replied.

"INADEQUATE." The rogue replied.

"INADEQUATE? THAT IS SUBOPTIMAL! WHY WAS IT INADEQUATE?" The robotic father asked.

"THEY SAID I WOULDN'T WIN THE COOLNESS COMPETITION ON WEDNESDAY BECAUSE I WON'T DANCE." The rogue replied.

"SON UNIT, THAT IS NONSENSE, THERE ARE MANY OTHER WAYS YOU CAN ACHIEVE VICTORY ASIDE FROM DANCING!" The rogue's father replied.

"BUT I DO NOT KNOW OF OTHER WAYS." The rogue replied.

"THEN WE MUST SING A SONG ABOUT ALL THE WAYS!" The rogue's father said.

"BUM-BUM BUM-BUM BUM-BUM BUM-BUM." A third mechanorimon started to make a rhythm off "stage"

"YOU CAN TELL A BUNCH OF JOKES, YOU CAN TALK, TO A DUMMY, YOU CAN DO A LOT OF SINGING, YOU CAN BE KIND OF FUNNY, YOU CAN BURP THE ABCS YOU CAN BALANCE PLATES ON YOUR HEAD, OR YOU CAN BE A MEDIUM AND TALK TO THE DEAD. " The father said as the one providing the rhythm ceased making noise.

"THAT IS A LARGE NUMBER OF THINGS." The rogue said.

"AFFIRMATIVE." His? Father replied.

"THANKYOU FATHER UNIT I BELIEVE I HAVE MADE MY DECISION." The rogue replied.

"DO YOU NOT WANT TO HEAR THE 2ND VERSE?" His father asked.

"NEGATIVE, IT IS NOT NECESSARY! I MUST GET TO WORK." The rogue replied before leaving the stage again.

The father turned towards us.

"SAD." It said, before trudging off the stage looking quite depressed for a machine whose only facial feature was a single large eye.

"She came up with this on her own?" I asked my beloved, as I was kind of impressed.

"Well she did have almost the whole day." Phoebe replied as I looked around and realized I had no idea where Kitty went.

The mechanorimon providing the rhythm for the song earlier started up again, as the one with the baseball cap came back on by itself a few seconds later with a cardboard box full of various props, and started to attempt to do some things, a few of which were in the song. First it pulled out a normal-sized dummy, as in the puppet, not the crash-test or clothing store variety. You'd think it'd be a decent ventriloquist, as it didn't have a visible mouth but could still speak somehow, however it couldn't fit it's hand inside the dummy and somehow managed to comically smash the poor thing to pieces in the process.

"I TRIED TO BURP, BUT REALIZED I HAVE NO MOUTH." It said, after apparently trying to do so.

Then it pulled several plates out of the box and tried to balance them on top of its dome, temporary replacing its hat. This ended up with it comedically smashing all the plates on the ground, where they combined with the smashed bits of dummy. Then it pulled out a cabbage and tried to karate chop it, but just smashed it. So far all it had accomplished was making a huge mess. The mechanorimon providing a rhythm stopped again. The one with the baseball cap put it's cap back on and walked off the stage, looking defeated. A variety of local rookie digimon set to work cleaning up the mess providing a brief intermission of sorts.

"Where'd Kitty go?" I asked.

"I don't know, I was watching the show, you can't find her? The crowd isn't that big it's just our group and maybe a few local digimon." Phoebe replied.

"She probably just got bored and went back to the bus or something." I said with a sigh.

"She doesn't really like the mechanorimon, I know that much." Phoebe replied.

"Nobody likes how loud they can be sometimes." I said.

"That is very true." Phoebe agreed.

"Anyway Kiera got the locals to help with her thing?" I asked.

"Yeah, from what I can hear from her, Kiera convinced them to take part, I think some are going to be in the show later even." Phoebe said.

"And she was just a refuel tech before this?" I asked.

"Well, remember she kind of joined us last minute, we didn't really vet her as much as the others." Phoebe said.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Because you and Saphy had to mess around with her in the pool." She teased.

"You weren't there.' I said.

"I know, its allright. Oh, hold on she's coming to talk to us." She said.

"She is?" I asked.

"Enjoying the show so far?" Kiera asked not even a second after I asked that.

"Yeah, it's allright, more than I was expecting." I replied.

"You've earned your reward, but not tonight." Phoebe added.

"Are you still recording?" I asked my beloved.

"No, I stopped when they started cleaning." Phoebe said.

"So, how innapropriate does the show get?" Phoebe asked.

"Not very why?" Kiera replied.

"Just thinking about showing it to Charley, when we get home." Phoebe said.

"He'll probably be terrified by them." I joked.

"Noooo, he's smarter than that." Phoebe replied.

"How old is he?" Kiera asked.

"One, he's half gardevoir though so he acts more like a three year old." I replied.

"He's still our little bitty baby." Phoebe said, quite adorably.

"Mhm." I agreed as I huggled my beloved affectionately.

"I miss him sooooo much." Phoebe continued.

"Hey baby, don't dwell on it too much we'll get back home eventually." I said, not wanting her to get upset.

"Yeah, I know." She replied.

"Well, anyway it should be ok for him to see, and, um, I think I might have to tell them to start act two since they're about done cleaning. Silly robots. Never know what they're going to do." Kiera said.

"Ok, we'll stay here." Phoebe replied.

"Um real quick, where did Kitty go?" Kiera asked.

"No idea, she snuck off while we were watching the show, knowing her she's probably curled up on the bed of the bus taking a nap." I replied.

"Ok, well that's too bad I was hoping she'd stay too." Kiera said before leaving.

"Yeah well, she's not a really a fan of the mechanorimon, too loud for her." I said.

"Eh, that's allright, I wish they had a volume switch too sometimes." Kiera replied.

"I just wish she would have said something before leaving, but oh well." I said.

"Maybe she just wants to be by herself for a bit." Phoebes suggested.

"Maybe." I replied.

"Yeah, looks like they're not starting on their own, also I need to put the lights on, gotta go." Kiera said, heading over to the mechanorimon as the "stage" fell silent and the mess on the ground from the last act had been cleaned.

"You think Kitty is ok? She kind of snapped at Zari earlier." Phoebe asked.

"Oh she's fine." I said.

"I hope so, I can't read her and it bothers me." Phoebe said.

"I never could read anybody." I replied.

"Pfff, I know that." She said.

"Besides, you know, if you could read her she'd probably drive you crazy anyway, that girl can be a total mess sometimes." I said.

"Yeah, you're probably right." Phoebe replied.

"Ok everybody now we are moving on to act two." Kiera said, pausing our conversation as the mechanorimon with the baseball cap walked out of the darkness back to the "stage" which was basically just the ground immediately in front of the crowd, now illuminated by the floodlights as the sun was setting. There were more locals gathered around than members of our group now, even some angemon and angewomon came to see what was going on and even seemed to be enjoying the show.

"683, act two scene one, go ahead and continue doing all the other acts after this, I shouldn't have to come up here again." Kiera said.

"Yes ma'am." 683 replied.

"So, just imagine he's walking down the street, I didn't have time to make like a backdrop or something." Kiera nervously explained before retreating back to the crowd.

"I AM A LOSER WITHOUT ANY TALENT! CRY! SOB!." 683 said as it paced back and forth before sitting down and pretending to sob. It literally said those last two words out loud, leaving me unsure if that was intended to be funny or if it just didn't know it was supposed to act those words, not say them.

Am I on now?" A floramon asked. As it briefly poked it's head into the lighted area.

"Yes, you're on, go do your part." Kiera said from the crowd, nervously.

The floramon then entered the stage and pretended to be sad for some other reason. It was also generally doing a better job at it than 683.

"What's wrong with you?" The floramon asked while sobbing.

"I CAN'T WIN THE COOLNESS COMPETTION, BECAUSE I CAN'T DO ANYTHING COOL." The mechanorimon replied.

"Did you try burping the abcs?" The floramon asked.

"I CAN'T BURP, NO MOUTH." The mechanorimon replied.

"Um what about dancing?" The floramon asked.

"NO THAT IS THE EXACT THING I DO NOT WANT TO DO." 683 replied.

"Did you try singing?" The floramon asked.

"I DON'T KNOW ANY GOOD SONGS." 683 replied.

"WHY ARE YOU HERE?" 683 asked.

"I'm not allowed to take part in the coolness competition because I'm not a robot." The floramon replied, still sobbing.

"WHAT IS YOUR TALENT?" The mechanorimon asked.

"I can sing." The floramon replied.

"CAN YOU SHOW ME?" 683 asked.

""Dance baby dance everytime I see you dance I want to get into your pants I wanna have some sweet romance with you baby baby baby you are driving me so crazy the way your beauty seems to phase me the way your body sways it sways me and I know that rhyme was lazy, but you're making me so crazy. Baby." The floramon sang.

"Oh god it's that song." I said.

"She's actually not that bad at singing." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but, that song, that song was everywhere. I'm surprised you managed to avoid it." I said.

It was an intergalactic hit that was played way too much.

"Yeah well, I was busy." Phoebe replied.

"WHAT IF YOU GET INSIDE ME AND SING WHILE I ENTER THE COMPETITION?" 683 said.

"Are there any rules against that? That seems like it would be cheating." The floramon replied.

"I DON'T THINK SO, WE WILL MAKE THEM THINK I AM THE ONE SINGNG." 683 replied.

"How?" The floramon asked.

"WE WILL USE MY INTERCOM SYSTEM." 683 said.

"Your what?" The floramon asked.

"GET INSIDE I WILL SHOW YOU." 683 said, as it got on its knees, took off its cap and opened up its dome.

"Um, ok." The floramon said before projecting some vines from its arms which it then used to climb into the much larger digimon.

"PRESS THE BLUE BUTTON AND SING!" 683 commanded as it closed its dome and put its hat back on, effectively hiding the floramon from view.

"Um, just a second. This button?" The floramon asked.

"YES." The mechanorimon replied.

"Dance baby dance everytime I see you dance I want to get into your pants I wanna have some sweet romance with you baby baby baby you are driving me so crazy the way your beauty seems to phase me the way your body sways it sways me and I know that rhyme was lazy, but you're making me so crazy. Baby." The floramon sang, now amplified a bit over the mechanorimon's intercom system, creating the passable illusion the mechanorimon itself was singing. Thankfully, its voice, like most rookies, was somewhat childlike, and a lot more pleasant to listen too than the mechanorimon. With that, the other four mechanorimon strode onto the scene, out of the darkness.

"HEY LOOK IT'S THE LOSER." Said the one in the tophat.

"NEGATIVE, YOU WILL BE THE LOSER." 683 replied.

"HAVE YOU EVEN FOUND SOMETHING ELSE TO DO ASIDE FROM DANCING?" Top hat asked.

"I CAN SING." 683 SAID.

"SO CAN I, AND WE CAN DANCE AS WELL." Top Hat insisted.

"I CAN SING BETTER THAN YOU." 683 said.

"NEGATIVE WE ARE BOTH THE SAME KIND OF MACHINE DIGIMON, OUR VOCES ARE IDENTICAL." Top hat replied.

"THAT IS WHERE YOU ARE WRONG, YOU WILL SEE." 683 said.

"SAVE IT FOR THE COMPETITON TOMORROW." Another one wearing a fedora interjected.

"YES, TOMORROW YOU WILL SEE US WIN." Top hat said.

"UNLIKELY." 683 replied.

With the scene over, 683 walked off to the left, all the mechanorimon walked off to the right. Only for them walk back in a few seconds later.

"IT IS NOW THE NEXT DAY." 683 broke the forth wall to announce to our group and everyone else that decided to come and watch.

Three rookie level digimon dressed in cardboard robot costumes came out of the darkness and entered the "stage", playing the roll of filler entrants in the competition.

"Ohhhh, how cuuute." Phoebe said.

Some of the other ladies reacted similarly, others stayed quiet, Henry and Zari laughed at how bad the costumes were. IceLeomon didn't get it.

The three rookies, also considered to be actual machine digimon in the universe the show was in, went first in the competition.

Starting with an agumon that breathed fire everywhere, somehow not setting its own costume on fire or anybody else for that matter. A tentomon that tried to do some complicated aerial maneuvers but apparently never tried to do them in its costume before so it didn't really work out well for it and it actually ended up crashing into the ground, thoroughly embarrassed, but unharmed. The crowd laughed as others helped him off the "stage". Finally, a gazimon recited a few basic algebraic equations, to which nobody really knew how to react, some didn't get it and were slightly impressed, and the ones that did didn't find it very entertaining.

"Is it supposed to be funny or?" Phoebe asked.

"I don't know." I replied.

"It was kind of supposed to be a joke yeah, I guess it kind of fell flat and that poor tentomon wasn't supposed to crash either." Kiera replied nervously.

"Eh, fair enough, you only had one day to come up with this whole story." I replied.

"Mhm." Phoebe agreed.

The group of antagonistic mechanorimon entered the "stage" next, for what would be there song and dance number which basically an extended version of the one they sang at the beginning of the whole thing.

"DO THE HAPPY ROBOT DANCE! SHAKE YOUR CHROME MOLYBDENUM PANTS!"

"ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU READY? ARE YOU READY FOR THE SHOW? ARE YOU READY ARE YOU READY ARE YOU READY TO GO? I'MA I'MA I'MA I'MA SHINY METAL MAN, NOT ANOTHER SODA-FILLED ALUMINUM CAN. EVERYWHERE I GO, PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK THE SAME THING, SHINY METAL MAN CAN YOU BRING US THE BLING BLING? WALKING DOWN THE STREET, PEOPLE PASSING ME BY WONDERING WONDERING IF SUCH AS SHINY MAN EVER CAUGHT THEIR EYE. SUCH A SHINY SUCH A SHINY SUCH A SHINY METAL THING, DO THE DANCE DO THE DANCE DO THE SHINY ROBOT DANCE, YOU CAN DO IT TOO IF YOUR SHAKE YOUR SHINY METAL PANTS. HERE IS OUR STANCE, IF YOU CAN NOT DANCE YOU WILL MISS YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A BIG TROPHY AND MAYBE SOME ROMANCE SO SHAKE YOUR SHINY METAL PANTS AND DO THE SHINY ROBOT DANCE, AND MAYBE JUST MAYBE YOUR SKLLS WILL THEN ADVANCE." The 4 of them harmonized together while dancing in perfect coordination.

"HE'S A SHINY METAL MAN." 3 of them sang repeatedly while their leader, the one with the top hat started "breakdancing" Until they eventually stopped a lot of the digimon that had gathered around us to observe this whole spectacle genuinely cheered for them and applauded eventually causing members of our own group to join in as well. To be fair, it was quite a scene.

"romance?" Phoebe asked.

"Had to make it rhyme somehow." Kiera replied.

"At some point I gotta introduce you to the beasty boys." I said as I couldn't help but laugh at the thought of them performing Intergalactic.

"Who?" Kiera.

"Remind me if we come across any of their cds. " I said.

"I probably won't remember by then." Kiera replied.

"Fair enough." I said.

"Don't worry I'll remind you." Phoebe said.

"That's why we have Pheebles." I said.

"The only reason?" She asked, teasingly.

"No, I love you, you dummy. Duh." I replied as I carefully hugged her so she wouldn't drop her camera.

"Awwwe, now I got it on tape." Phoebe replied.

"So? You already know how I feel." I said.

"Yeah, but now I can hear you say it whenever I want." She teased.

"Or I could just tell you." I replied.

"True." She relented.

"I love you I love you I love you." I said while kissing her on the cheek between each one.

"Ok that's enough, I'm trying to record." She replied with a laugh.

"Final act is about to start guys please don't get distracted." Kiera pleaded.

"Right, sorry." I replied.

"Of course sweetie I'm recording every second of this." Phoebe said.

The four antagonistic mechanorimon shuffled off to the side, still in the light, but off to the side, while the baseball cap wearing hero quietly walked out of the darkness and into view in the center of the lighted area.

It started to play a melody like a 1980s keyboard in square waves, that was surprisingly recognizable as a crude version of another intergalactic hit that most of our group had probably heard before.

"The stars above, the earth below, where is our love, can you tell me so? The stars in the sky, they're all a glow, oh wohwohwoh-woh-wohwoh Where is the passion? Where is the fire? Where blows the winds of desire? The stars are, burning in the sky." The floramon that was still inside him sang while the other four mechanorimon and the other contestant digimon glared at him, their jaws dropped, if they had them. Most of the crowd were easily captivated as the small flowery digimon continued to sing. The song was a timeless classic and when it came to an end they cheered even more than they had for the other four mechanorimon. Once the cheering had subsided Kiera stepped into the light to address the crowd.

"As the judge of this coolness competition, I declare 683 to be the winner. Anyway, that's the whole show, goodnight everyone and thanks for watching." She said, nervously.

"No more?" One the locals asked.

"That's all I had time to come up with." Kiera replied as the crowd started to disperse.

"I'm going to have to do something about that "get into your pants" line, from that one song the floramon sang." Phoebe said as we started to head for the bus once the crowd opened up a bit more.

"The what now?" I asked as she came out of absolute nowhere with that.

"That one song they sang, the dance baby dance song, that one line is completely inappropriate for little Charley to hear." She said.

"If you say so." I replied.

"And she sang it twice." Phoebe said.

"What are you going to do just cut it out and make it look weird?" I asked.

"I don't know, what's your idea?" She asked.

"We could dub over it?" I said.

"Huh?" Phoebe asked.

"We'll just record another line over it." I said.

"Like what?" Phoebe asked.

"We'll get Kitty to sing it." I said.

"Sing what?" Phoebe asked.

"We'll figure that out after we explain this to Kitty." I said.

"I could sing it too." Phoebe said.

"True" I replied.

"So, let's just figure this out together." She insisted.

"Allright I just thought you'd want to hold the camera." I replied.

"Naaaaah, you can hold it for me." She replied.

"Ok then, now we just have to figure out where the hell Kitty went." I said.

"We're not going to fix it now?" She asked.

"Eh we'll fix it tomorrow if we have time." I said.

"You think she's just waiting for us on the bus?" Phoebe asked.

"I wouldn't say waiting." I replied.

We made it to the bus a little bit later and found Kitty fast asleep on the bed.

"Well now she's hogging the bed." Phoebe said.

"Kitty kat, babe, come on wakey wakey." I said as I gently shook her.

"Cj, dammit, I must've fallen asleep, I didn't mean too I swear. " She said, tiredly.

"You slept through the whole show." I said.

"I didn't like it so I came back here." She said.

"Too loud?" I asked.

"Mhm." She agreed.

"I said you could spend the night with us, but you're not taking up the whole bed, so move." Phoebe said.

"Grumpy." Kitty replied.

"I was hoping I'd get to play with your human form." I said.

"You'll keep me warm afterwards?" Kitty asked.

"As long as you want to snuggle and don't turn away. You don't have claws in that form you shouldn't need to worry about that." I said.

"Ok." She replied.

"Sister, can I please be alone with our husband?" Kitty asked Phoebe.

"Oooooookaay, Just for the first round, not all night. I'll come back when you're finished, have fun." Phoebe said reluctantly before kissing me on the cheek.

"Wait a minute." I said.

"What?" Phoebe managed to ask before I pulled her into a kiss.

"Thanks for this." I said.

"Yeah, thanks sister love you so much." Kitty said, playfully.

"I'm just making up for our little romp in the forest earlier." Phoebe said.

"Yeah, but, you know you don't have too." I said.

"I know." She replied.

"So thanks." I said.

"Oh and remember, use condoms until we know she still can't get pregnant." Phoebe said.

"Right." I replied.

And with that she left us alone.

"I guess we should just start fucking then right?" Kitty asked.

"Yeah, we shouldn't keep her waiting too long." I replied.

She got up and changed to her human form which was also conveniently already naked.

I pulled her close and we started to make out. I loved her, so it just felt natural at this point as I got myself acquainted with her new set of curves.

"You're still beautiful babe." I said.

"That's good." She replied.

"Are you still as strong though?" I asked.

"You want to play around and find out?" She asked.

"Naked?" I asked.

"Yeah, duh." She replied.

"Allright." I said as I started to undress.

"Here get on your knees on the bed." I said

"What are you doing?" She said as I did the same.

"Give me your hands." I said.

"Ok." She replied before complying.

"Ok, on the count of three let's see if you can push me down." I said.

"Ok." She said with a laugh.

"3 2 1 , go." I said as I began to try to push her onto her back as well. She tried to resist but eventually I overpowered her, which wouldn't have happened with either of her other forms.

"Ok, you win, dammit, this form sucks." She said.

"So she really did make you human." I said.

"I guess so." She replied.

"Well, you only have to stay in this form long enough to get to the next world, you can change back as soon as we're there." I said.

"Good." She replied.

"Besides, maybe it's not all bad, maybe it made you more sensitive." I said.

"I can't smell a damned thing." She replied.

"I meant, sensually." I said as I gently caressed her right nipple.

"Oh." She replied.

"Well that still feels good atleast." She said.

"You wanna see if it feels any better?" I asked as seductively as I knew how.

"Ok." She replied.

I pulled her into a kiss and we started to make out, which eventually led to sex.

-several minutes of love making later-

"Did that feel any better for you?" I asked as I snuggled with her.

"Maybe just a tiny bit better, I feel all wet though not down there just all over." She said.

"Oh honey, you're sweating." I said.

"Why?" She asked, having never experience such a thing before.

"Well we're naked and it's warm and we're all rubbing on each other so it tends to happen. Fuck she really did make you human. It's kind of hot thought really." I said.

"So now I can sweat on you instead of the other way around. We'll just have to try this out a few more times to see if I like it more then." She replied.

"You're gonna have to take that up with Pheebles." I said.

"Yeah I know." She replied before sweetly kissing me just as Phoebe came back in.

"Is round one over?" She asked.

"Yeah." I replied.

"Mhm." Kitty agreed.

"You have fun?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah." Kitty replied.

"Yeah." I said, equal parts tired and satisfied.

"This form sucks though." Kitty said.

"She's completely human, she has no powers in this form whatsoever." I said.

"I can sweat now." Kitty said.

"You didn't use protection like I asked." Phoebe pointed out.

"Didn't need to, she got me off with her feet." I replied.

"Mhm." Kitty replied.

"Doesn't matter you still put it inside her at some point didn't you?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah, but." I objected

"Then you should've used protection, if she gets pregnant we're screwed!" Phoebe said.

"Pheebles do you want to stand there and complain or do you want to take off your shoes and snuggle with us?" I asked.

"Both." She said.

"Grumpy." Kitty said.

"Yeah, she is a bit grumpy." I agreed.

"Pheebles if it bothers you that much we'll use it next time or she'll just change form or something ok?" I asked.

"Ok, that's good enough. Now move over, I want some bed too." She replied.

She squeezed into bed next to me and I pulled both my ladies close.

"Love you baby girl, goodnight." I said before kissing her on the cheek.

"Love you too. I just wish you would listen more." She replied.

"Sometimes I wish you would too." I said.

"Yeah well, we really can't have her getting pregnant right now, when we get home maybe, but not right now." Phoebe said.

"Really?" Kitty said.

"I don't mind, I know Charley would love to have someone around to play with that's more his age." Phoebe said.

"I don't know, I probably still can't even get pregnant and, I don't feel like I'd ever be a good mother. I've dated guys with kids before and you know, it ended badly." Kitty said.

"I can help you with that. They'd be my kids too." Phoebe said.

"So Charley is also mine?" Kitty asked.

"Ummmmm, we'll deal with that when we get home." Phoebe said, awkwardly.

"Yeah we could end up in the middle of a warzone tomorrow and I know both of you are going to want to play around in the morning so let's get some sleep." I said.

"I can help you sleep." Phoebe said somewhat mischievously.

"No, because you need to sleep too." I said as I gently seized her arm before she could do so, knowing her well enough to see that coming.

"Yeah, ok." She replied as I let her go.

Eventually we fell asleep until the next morning.
