Hello, my fellow fanfic readers 'n' writers! Since stats are back online, I figured I might as well start this off. This, of course, is that continuation talked about in the preceding mini-story (please read that if you haven't and are starting with this, it gives a little extra context). The summary says it all, really: this collection follows my main OC Nickel, and in it we'll get to learn more about him (and the other OCs that appear sometimes) as we go through.
The collection is mostly chronological; that is, there are certain points that notably progress things, but some will simply be isolated situations that can be arranged in almost any way (between important events).
The true first chapter will be the next one, as this one will simply introduce the main character and the primary original deuteragonist, who we'll see a fair bit of.
And again, there will be OC x Canon eventually. You have been warned.
Nickel Leonell the Cat: Fourteen years old.
Rather tall at 3'7.5"; surprisingly thin, gangly; long fur, vermilion in colour; amber eyes; white muzzle; long tail
Electric blue hoodie, navy blue shoes with white stripes and white trim, white TENS fingerless gloves with red wires
Has a quiet, deceptively bassy voice with an American-British portmanteau accent - sometimes one side will be heard more than the other; hails from Briterica Island, to the south of the City. Enjoys performing accents from varying dialects and utilising unnecessarily convoluted phrases on occasion. Finds TENS cathartic even when there's no pain; he doesn't really need that function of his gloves. Is a fan of electric abilities (hence favouring the Lightning Wispon). Kind of shy, has a little trouble talking to new people, but intelligent and relatively quick-witted (sometimes snarky) when you get to know him. Has a form of aphenphosmphobia by way of hypersensitivity. Likes video games a lot. Does not like earthquakes at all.
Plays a little bit of piano in his free time - favourite piece is Liszt's Liebestraum No. 3 (an abridged version), but enjoys playing covers of Green Hill Zone and Fist Bump.

Lily the Cat: Six years old.
A little short for her age at 2'1.5"; long fur (not quite as long as Nickel's); xanthic in colour; pale azure eyes; peach muzzle; long white-tipped tail.
Short blue denim jumper, white suede-lined shoes, white gloves with blue bow each.
Has a moderately high voice. Polite and soft-spoken, but a little giggly when she gets excited. Actually not that shy, though certainly a little around famous people. Usually uses titles when referring to those significantly older than her (that is, "mister A", "miss B" et al.), though she eventually stops doing this to Nickel. Likes fluffiness a lot. Does not like spiders at all.
Tries to be serious whenever Nickel quips a joke, but most often ends up corpsing.
