I hadn't intended to write a follow up to Arrival, but this has been nagging me the last few days!

A little alternative take on the beginning of the entire canon. This is my first story in this fandom, feedback appreciated!

A post-Picts and Martyrs recounting of the adventures of the Swallows, Amazons, and Ds in which buried treasure, hostile natives, danger at sea, desertion, grown-ups, growing up, and the most difficult of choices all play parts. The first chapter, Return to the Lake.

Dick, Dot, Mrs Callum, Mr Jenkyns Dick opens his mail-order parcel of chemical equipment as a mystery guest is invited to dinner. Chapter 2 needs a trigger warning. It contains an oblique reference to crime against children.

This is another transplant from lj. In fact this is a crossover with the Marlows. Perhaps there is an element of wish-fulfillment here. I think maybe lots of women ( and for all I know, men) subjected to unwelcome attentions and constrained by social pressures not to make a fuss would like to think that the perpetrator feels bad about it afterwards. I bet they don't.

A small fic with one character - a cheerfully weepy Molly Blackett. This piece was written for constantlearner as a forfeit in a private challenge that, if I were to tell you about it, you would never believe us anyway. She has now asked me to share it here; I hope you enjoy it.
