Twenty years before the dwarrow leave Ered Luin to quest to Erebor Gandalf encounters a portal and helps the beings who come through. Tiefling slaves from Thay used ancient magic to escape captivity, now they travel across half of Arda to found a new homeland and create an alliance with the Dwarrow. The two races come together, learn about each other and defeat a dragon. Hopefully.

Before Oakenshield and his men met Bilbo, they asked another halfling rogue to aid them in defeating Smaug. I wrote this based on Cumberbatch's interpretation of Smaug and not the book.
