Potter Beach House
Severa was peacefully asleep, enjoying a dream of herself sitting among the clouds when a sudden thud followed by the sound of voices jolted her awake. She groaned and rolled over, shielding her eyes from the sunlight streaming in through the window. Blinking away sleep, she squinted at the figure looming over her, gradually recognizing Sirius with his characteristic grin.
"Morning, hot stuff," he greeted cheerfully, prompting Severa to push his head away as she sat up, her confusion evident. Her gaze then shifted to James, Remus, and Peter, who stood at the foot of her bed, wearing equally goofy smiles.
"What the hell...?" she muttered, rubbing her eyes to clear her vision. Severa's mind raced as she tried to make sense of the unexpected visit from the boys. She glanced around her room, noticing the blinds open, letting the sun light up the room.
"What the hell...?" Severa muttered, rubbing her eyes to clear her vision. Her mind raced as she tried to make sense of the unexpected visit from the boys. She glanced around her room, noticing the blinds open, letting the sunlight flood in.
Before she could gather her thoughts, Severa felt hands wrap around her ankles and yank her out of bed. Startled, she let out a yelp as she tumbled onto the floor, the blanket tangled around her legs.
Sirius and James were both laughing uproariously, while Remus wore a sheepish grin. Peter stood off to the side, trying to suppress his giggles.
"Come on, Baby! We don't have all day," Sirius exclaimed, offering her a hand to help her up.
Severa scowled playfully at them, brushing herself off. "You lot are mental," she declared, but a smirk tugged at the corners of her lips. She untangled the blankets and stood up, looking between the four.
"What the hell do you lot want?" She placed her hand on her hips and gave them her best 'Euphemia Glare,' her eyes narrowed in mock seriousness.
James chuckled nervously, exchanging glances with Remus and Peter. "We thought we'd kick off your last day here with a little adventure," he explained, trying to sound casual despite Severa's intimidating glare.
Sirius jumped in, undeterred by Severa's display. "Yeah! We're heading up to Acrane with you. Thought it'd be fun to explore." Severa's eyes widened. She shook her head, her hair flying around like crazy.
"No! That's not gonna happen!" She brushed her hair out of her face. "You can do anything but that!"
Remus stepped forward, a placating gesture with his hands. "Severa, come on, it'll be fine. We'll stick together."
But Severa's expression remained resolute. "You don't understand. Acrane is my new School for the summer. I wanna make my name known without...y'all."
Peter, usually quiet in these discussions, spoke up tentatively. "Maybe... maybe she's right, guys. We shouldn't push it."
James shot him a grin. "Oh, come on, Pete. Where's your sense of adventure?" He and Sirius took a step forward, both grabbing Severa's hands and shaking them giving her huge puppy dog eyes.
Severa met them with blank looks, not phased by their eyes. She yanked her hands back and pushed the four out her room. As soon as they were out, She took a breath, Today was the day.
Today was the day she went to Arcane Atelier and started her next chapter, and she couldn't feel any more scared. You may not see it on the outside, but on the inside, She was fucking horrified. She raised her hand and placed it over her heart to calm herself.
After a series of deep breaths, she tended to her morning routine, brushing her teeth and splashing her face with cold water to shake off any remaining drowsiness. After combing her hair and donning her uniform, she scrutinized herself in the mirror, ensuring she was ready for the day ahead.
With a final nod of reassurance to herself, Severa grabbed her bag and headed out of her room. Each step felt heavy, laden with the weight of anticipation and nervous energy. She navigated the familiar corridors of the home, her mind racing with thoughts of what lay ahead.
As she approached the kitchen, Severa took another deep breath, steeling herself for the unknown. Today was a new beginning, a chance to pursue her passion and carve out her own path. Despite the fear gnawing at her insides, she knew she couldn't let it hold her back.
But as she pushed open the door to the kitchen, her anticipation was abruptly interrupted by a sudden commotion. Before she could react, a whole egg whizzed past her head, narrowly missing her by inches. Startled, Severa spun around to find the boys frozen in the midst of their culinary chaos, their eyes wide with shock as they stared at her.
Severa's heart raced as she assessed the situation, a mixture of frustration and amusement bubbling up within her. Despite the unexpected interruption, she couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of the moment. With a playful gleam in her eye, she arched an eyebrow at the guilty culprits before her.
"You boys wanna explain that?" Severa's tone was laced with amusement as she crossed her arms, watching the boys scramble to clean up the mess they had made. Fleamont and Euphemia entered the kitchen just in time to witness the aftermath, Euphemia's expression stern as she approached the boys.
Fleamont, however, offered Severa a reassuring gesture, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. His warm smile spoke volumes, a silent encouragement for her to carry on despite the chaotic start to the day.
"You ready?" Fleamont's question was accompanied by a gentle nod, his unwavering support giving Severa the confidence she needed. With a determined expression, she returned his nod, a spark of excitement igniting within her despite the lingering nerves.
Fleamont efficiently shrunk Severa's trunks down to a manageable size as Euphemia finished delivering her reprimand to the boys. With everything in order, she took Severa's hand, leading her towards the door. Just as they were about to leave, Sirius dashed forward and clasped Severa's other hand, causing her to turn back to him in surprise.
Severa arched an eyebrow at Sirius's unexpected gesture. "What?" she inquired, curiosity coloring her voice. Sirius held her gaze for a moment before planting a quick kiss on her cheek, accompanied by his trademark grin. "Don't miss me too much," he teased, releasing her hand with a wink.
Severa settled into the back seat beside Euphemia as Frank steered the car down the familiar streets. The gentle hum of the engine provided a soothing background to the anticipation building within her. Euphemia glanced over at Severa, her eyes brimming with excitement.
"Are you excited?" Euphemia's voice held a note of eager anticipation as she awaited Severa's response. Severa tore her gaze away from the passing buildings outside the window and met Euphemia's gaze with a nod.
"Yeah, I am," she replied, a hint of enthusiasm coloring her voice. Euphemia continued to chatter about what to expect at Arcane Atelier, but Severa found herself drifting away, lost in her own thoughts.
As the SUV came to a stop in front of a towering school building, Severa's attention snapped back to the present. Her eyes widened as she took in the huge campus, a couple of students about in the courtyard beyond the imposing front gate.
A surge of excitement coursed through her veins as Severa realized that this was the moment she had been eagerly anticipating. She steadied herself with a calming hand over her heart, stealing a glance at Euphemia, who had already gotten out of the car and was waiting for Severa to join her.
With a deep breath to steady her nerves, Severa stepped out of the vehicle, her resolve firm as she followed Euphemia towards the front gate of the school. As they entered the bustling front hall, Severa couldn't help but feel the weight of curious gazes upon her.
Ignoring the scrutiny, Severa focused on the task at hand, her steps steady as she walked beside Euphemia toward the headmaster's office. The hum of anticipation filled the air, mingling with the chatter of fellow students.
As Euphemia instructed Severa to wait outside the headmaster's office, she felt a mix of anticipation and apprehension swirling within her. She watched as Euphemia disappeared behind the office door, leaving her to wonder what awaited inside.
Twenty minutes later, the door swung open, and Euphemia emerged, accompanied by a distinguished-looking man in a sharp two-piece suit. He extended his hand with a warm smile. "Hello Severa, my name is Headmaster Thorne."
Severa returned the handshake, her gaze flickering between Headmaster Thorne and Euphemia, who seemed to be preparing to depart. Her heart sank as Euphemia spoke up, her words ringing in Severa's ears. "Severa, This is where I shall leave you."
Severa's mind raced with confusion. Leave her? But they had just arrived, and already Euphemia was leaving her behind. As Euphemia walked away, Severa stood rooted to the spot, watching her retreating figure with a sense of disbelief.
Finally, Headmaster Thorne broke the silence, his voice drawing Severa's attention back to the present. "Come, Severa," he said, gesturing for her to follow him. "I'll show you to your dorm."
With a mixture of trepidation and determination, Severa took a deep breath and followed Headmaster Thorne as they made their way through the school, students sending her an array of different looks.
Finally, they arrived at one of the dormitory buildings, where Headmaster Thorne began to outline what Severa could expect. "Since you arrived a bit later than the others, you'll have a dorm room to yourself," he explained, leading her up a flight of stairs. "I believe this will be beneficial, especially given your enrollment in the Fashion course."
Stopping in front of a door marked with the room number '452', Headmaster Thorne handed Severa a key along with two papers. "Settle in, lunch is in four hours," he informed her before departing, leaving Severa to contemplate her new surroundings.
With a sense of anticipation, Severa unlocked the door and pushed it open, revealing her new abode for the summer. She stepped into the room, taking in the sight of her own space within the bustling school. With a determined smile, she set about making herself at home.
After settling in a bit, Severa Grabbed the two papers Headmaster Thorne gave her, one a map of the school, the other her times' sheets, and made her way out of her dorm and to the main courtyard.
She saw Students in different color uniforms walking around, sitting with others wearing the same color or different. She looked down at her map and read where it told her what the colors meant, she knew red was for the art course, blue for photography, and black was for Fashion, but what were green and white for?
As she was reading the paper, she was suddenly knocked to her feet by what felt like someone jumping on her back. She found herself sprawled on the ground, papers scattered around her. Blinking in surprise, Severa turned to see Emma on her back looking down at her with a huge grin.
As Severa attempted to gather her bearings after the unexpected collision, she felt the weight lift off her back and looked up to see Emma, a familiar face, grinning down at her.
"You're here!" Emma's excitement was palpable as she enveloped Severa in a bear hug, despite the awkwardness of their positions. Severa let out a muffled protest, struggling to free herself. "Get off of me," she managed to gasp out as Emma finally rolled off.
Before Severa could fully regain her composure, Emma pulled her into another enthusiastic hug. "I thought you weren't gonna make it," Emma exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.
"But here you are!"
Severa couldn't help but smirk at Emma's infectious enthusiasm, feeling a wave of warmth wash over her at the sight of her new friend. As Emma continued to chatter excitedly about her initial doubts regarding Severa's arrival, Severa couldn't help but be grateful for the unexpected reunion, realizing that she wasn't alone in this new chapter of her life at Arcane Atelier.
Just as Emma's chatter threatened to continue indefinitely, another voice interrupted with a teasing tone. "My, my, it seems little Emma has found herself a new friend." Severa turned towards the source of the cocky remark and found herself locking eyes with a figure she could only describe as a descendant of Aphrodite herself.
Standing before her was a strikingly handsome young man, exuding an air of confidence that bordered on arrogance. His features were chiseled, his hair slicked back in a way that seemed effortlessly perfect. Severa couldn't help but feel a pang of annoyance at his smug demeanor.
Emma, seemingly oblivious to the tension, beamed at the newcomer. "Oh, Severa, this is—" she began, only to be abruptly cut off by the boy's smooth interruption. "Ezra Wood," he interjected smoothly, taking Severa's hand and pressing a kiss to her knuckles. "Pleased to make your acquaintance." His voice dripped with charm as he sent her a flirtatious look, one that brought to mind another charismatic yet infuriating individual Severa knew all too well.
Suppressing a sigh, Severa withdrew her hand, maintaining a polite nod despite the nagging sense of déjà vu that washed over her. She couldn't help but wonder if Ezra Wood was cut from the same cloth as the flirtatious troublemaker Sirius, and she resolved to proceed with caution around him.
She was in for a trip
