Under the blazing heat of the sun in Arizona Arcee, Bulkhead and Bumblebee traveled in vehicle mode to a Mining site where something happened while the workers were digging and mining copper and other earth born minerals until they stumbled onto strange blue looking crystals then that was when they experienced an earthquake and they evacuated. Now the three autobots are now here because Optimus Prime thinks the strange crystals the workers found were Energon exactly what they needed,the Autobots arrived at the mining site which was deserted and the vehicles had remained in their spots unmoving and untouched.
The three transformed into robot modes and looked around at the rocky wasteland, "you really think the humans found Energon?"Bulkhead asked Arcee looked at the energon detector which showed that she was indeed getting a faint signal of energon however she was also getting something else, another signal something else was down there. "it appears true there's Energon down there but there's something else down there too, I'm not sure what it is."Arcee said as she deployed her blasters and aimed at the rocks and the small entrance then she started blasting then Bulkhead and Bumblebee joined her in blasting a giant hole in the rocks until it was big enough for an Autobot.
The three of them stopped firing and admired their work,Bulkhead stared at the entrance with hesitation as he remembered the last Energon mine mission,it was a couple of months ago Arcee and Bulkhead along with Jack and Miko went to an stripped Energon mine, and things went absolutely wrong,after a cave in, the four of them were trapped underground along with Megatron and Starscream, luckily they were able to escape with their lives.
Bulkhead was a little bit hesitant to go but then he reminded himself that Miko and Jack were at school and safe from harm, "Ok let's go."Arcee said as she Bulkhead and Bumblebee followed her into the mine,they turned on their lights illuminating the pathway ahead of them. Arcee kept her optics on the energon finder which showed that they were getting closer and closer to the source, Bumblebee buzzed a question "who knows what that earthquake was about, probably natural or they probably disturbed something."Bulkhead said making Arcee narrow her eyes now realizing that they should be absolutely careful otherwise they'll cause unwanted destruction.
Acree glanced at the energon finder and saw they were right near energon, the autobots looked to see they came across a dead end and saw a rather small cluster of energon crystals embedded into the stone wall in front of them. "There it is."Bulkhead said happy they found the crystals "it's a little small,but it's enough."Arcee said then a masculine voice spoke behind them "I couldn't agree more,mind if we take it?" The autobots turned around to see Breakdown along with Knockout and a few vehicons. The Autobots got into defensive stances glaring at their foes "i'm afraid we need this more than you jerks,so slag off."Arcee said with sass deploying her blaster and aimed it at the cons with Bulkhead and Bumblebee doing the same.
Knockout frowned at arcee as the vehicons aimed their weapons at her and Breakdown aimed his shoulder cannon at them Knockout's eyes widened at the fact that everyone was about to shoot each other in an enclosed space with energon nearby, "No wait you'll hit the energon!"Knockout exclaimed in horror making everyone freeze then suddenly they felt the ground shake a little bit,startling everyone "Woah!"Bulkhead said as he tried to stabilize himself "hey what's going on?!"Knockout said as he stumbled and fell and hit his face on a rock.
Arcee glanced at the energon finder and saw that something with energon was moving bellow them and see could swear she could hear the sound of drilling, "is one of you cons drilling?!"arcee asked "No!"Knockout groaned sitting up Breakdown was stumbling around until he lost his footing and fell over which cause his cannon to fire a middle directly at the ground causing an explosion and then the ground began to crack shocking everyone as the ground gave out underneath everyone causing them to fall approximately 5 stories down. They all screamed as rocks and debris fell and crumbled all around them kicking up a massive cloud of dust,then everything went absolutely quiet as the dust had settled, the sound of groaning echoed as Bulkhead, Bumblebee and Arcee stood up from off the ground covered in dust, "Is everyone alright?"Arcee asked curiously "I'm fine." Bulkhead said and Bumblebee buzzed and gave a thumbs up.
Then they heard another groaning and saw Knockout standing up, apparently he got trapped with them, which was good news for them,although they were wondering where Breakdown and the others were,where ever they were bulkhead hoped they were buried deep, Knockout looked at himself in horror " ugh I've got dust all over my finish,can this get any worse."Knockout then turned to see 3 angry authors pointing blasters at him "Oh scrap."Knockout muttered as Bumblebee shined his high beam lights around and saw that one way is blocked by rock but the other way appears to lead somewhere. "How far underground do you think we are?"Bulkhead asked looking up at the ceiling "Arcee to base come in..."Arcee said pressing her fingers to the comlink and all she heard was static "Far enough that we can't reach base."Arcee said making Knockout groan in exasperation "oh that's perfect!"
"Shut up this is all your fault!"Bulkhead growled as he got ready to hit Knockout but Bumblebee buzzed to get everyone's attention he pointed at the ground and everyone saw what appeared to be tank treads going down the tunnel, "those are treads right?"Bulkhead asked "Yeah but what made them?"Arcee asked "Couldn't have been us we weren't ready to dig yet."Knockout said "maybe it was the mole people."Bulkhead said although in a joking manner everyone looked at him weird "oh Miko told me about this movie she watched about these mutants that lived underground coming out to invade the surface, called mole people."Bulkhead said with a little shrug Arcee shook her head "well whatever made these tracks is still down here and it appeared to have energon,I don't know if it's Autobot or Decepticon or what but be ready for anything."Arcee said as she was about to head down the tunnel until Knockout stopped her "wait wait wait you're gonna go find whatever made those tracks, I say we should find a way out of here!"Knockout exclaimed making Arcee frown "first: you are our prisoner therefore you don't get a say in anything, second: we are finding a way out in the process maybe whatever is down here can help us back to the surface, so shut up and move it."Arcee ordered making Knockout frown and Bulkhead shoved him and the proceeded to walk down the tunnel following the treads.
Meanwhile Elsewhere
Breakdown and the vehicons all stood up and looked around to find themselves trapped with no way out "Grrr,great just great."Breakdown growled looking around and noticed that Knockout wasn't with them and neither were the Autobots. "Knockout come in come in!"Breakdown said as he tried to communicate with Knockout but found static answering instead, "Megatron?!"Breakdown called again but still static.
Breakdown grumbled as he began to look around "Decepticons we needed to get out of here, Knockout is most likely a prisoner of the autobots we need to find him."Breakdown said as he deployed his hammer "so let's start smashing and blasting."Breakdown said as he began to pummeled the nearest wall to him making it crack the vehicons charged up their weapons and began blasting at the wall sending clouds of dust everywhere.
