Danny enters his school, ready for another day of teachers, homework, and everyday bullies. As well as meeting his two best friends.
"Danny!"
He looks up to see his friend Charlotte Morningstar. Danny smiled as he hugged his childhood friend. Charlie, as she called herself, was a lot different than most girls. No one understood why she would wear a small black bowtie and black suspenders, with an untucked white, long-sleeved dress shirt. Over this was a fitted red tuxedo jacket with dark red lapels and a pair of red fitted pants. She also wore black and white saddle shoes. Some thought she was a ringleader from the circus.
"Good morning, Charlie. How's your dream coming?" Danny asked.
"Great! I work out the draft of the hotel. Just need to keep up my job and I'm good to go!" She smiles.
"Glad to hear that." Danny smiles.
"Me too."
Danny and Charlie turned to see their other best friend, Emily Seraphim. She was dressed in a short-sleeved, sky-blue dress. The dress boasts puffy, dark blue shoulders, a captivating design centered around a black crystal on the chest, and intricate dark blue crystal patterns adorning the bottom with stylish black boots. Many thought she was trying to be a princess, but Emily just stated that she liked the dress.
"Hey, Em, how are you doing?" Danny asked.
"Great. It's so good to see you both again." Emily said.
"Emily, we met up yesterday." Danny chuckles.
"I know. But it's just not as fun without you two." She said, smiling.
The three were very different from each other, but they all were good friends. Not only that, Charlie and Emily were some of the prettiest girls in school. And they were friends with the number one loser in the whole school.
"So, you girls up for our usual meeting after school?" Danny asked them.
"You bet! I can't wait to share my ideas for my hotel!" Charlie smiles.
"In due time, Charlie. First, we have to deal with the many "dates" we get." Emily pointed out.
"True. But I already have a girlfriend." Charlie said.
"And she doesn't like me that much," Danny said, sighing.
"She'll warm up to you someday," Charlie said, trying to make him feel better.
It wasn't that Charlie was unsure. Her girlfriend, Vaggie, didn't trust Danny for some reason. She had no idea why. She stated that she trusted Emily more despite not liking her that much.
Emily sighs. She had tried to get to know Vaggie, but she just kept giving her the cold shoulder. Still, Charlie was nice and friendly and a great friend. They heard the bell ring and the three headed off to their own classes.
Later, Lunchtime,
Danny spotted the girls and went to join them at their table. However, he was stopped by none other than Dash Baxter.
"And where do you think you're going, Fenton?" He asks, smirking.
"To sit with my friend, who doesn't even care about my status," Danny said, rolling his eyes.
"Too bad, Fenton! You're sitting with the rest of the losers." Dash said, grabbing him.
"Put him down, Baxter."
Dash looked behind him, surprised to see Charlie close by.
"Hello there, sweet stuff," Dash said, letting go of Danny.
Charlie ignored him as she walked around to help Danny up.
"Are you okay, Danny?" She asked.
"Yeah. Thanks." Danny smiles.
"Come on. It appears that we need to remind everyone that you're free to sit with us," Charlie said, shaking her head.
Dash looked surprised before Charlie glared at him.
"We don't care what his status is. He's our friend and he's allowed to sit where he pleases." Charlie said.
"And we told you many times before, you're no king!" Emily said, having watched the whole thing.
Danny sat down, seeing a new tray of food waiting for him. Danny smiled and thanked the two girls. Dash growls before walking away.
"He's never going to stop, is he?" Charlie asked.
"Nope," Danny said, shaking his head.
The three sighed, not understanding why this school needed to split into groups. Charlie and Emily didn't care about that. They welcome Danny into their friendship because he was alone. They remember it the very first day they both met him.
Charlie and Emily were meeting up at their usual hang-out, talking about ideas they could do when they finally moved out of their parent's place.
"Still working on that Hotel?" Emily asked.
"Yeah. Trying to picture how it would look as well as find a job to fund it." Charlie said.
"I'm happy to hear that! Sera is really busy and Dad is barely around." Emily said, sighing.
"At least you're welcome in my family. My dad can be a little goofy, but he means well." Charlie smiles.
"Yeah. Still can't believe you were a circus family at one point." Emily said.
"Well, Dad mentioned it was fun, but he was ready to settle down after I was born." Charlie smiled.
"Is that why you still wear that suit?" Emily asked, giggling.
"Oh, hush!" Charlie laughs, knowing she was joking.
"HEY, KID! GET OUT OF HERE!"
Emily and Charlie turned and saw a boy duck under the owner before diving between his legs. He ran past the counter, grabbing a piece of bread off it. He ducked under the table before around back, leaving some money on the counter. Charlie and Emily looked surprised. Why would this boy steal some bread, only to leave money behind? They both looked out the window and spotted a well-known group. They noticed the boy who took the bread and saw the group laugh and push him to the ground. Then the leader of the group, which they later learn was Dash, took the bread and broke off a tiny piece. He gave it to him, saying that was all he was getting. Both of them didn't like that. Once the group left, Charlie and Emily walked out to meet him.
"Hey, are you okay?" Charlie asked, shocking him.
"Y-Yeah." The boy said, surprised.
"Did they force you to see a loaf of bread?" Emily asked.
"N-No..." The boy said, looking away.
They could tell that the boy was scared. They looked at each other before nodding.
"Come on, we'll treat you," Charlie said, shocking him.
"Yeah, you look hungry," Emily added, smiling.
"But the owner..." He started.
"We'll deal with him. I'm Charlotte. But you can call me Charlie." Charlie said, smiling.
"I'm Emily. But you can call me Emmy, or Em, or E, whatever you want," Emily said, helping the boy to his feet.
"And you are?" Charlie asked.
"Daniel, but everyone calls me Danny." The boy said, looking a bit shy.
It was on that day they became good friends and nothing kept them apart.
Present Day,
"Girls? Girls!"
They snapped out of their thoughts, hearing Danny calling out to them.
"Sorry about that, Danny," Charlie said, blushing.
"We were thinking about the day we met you," Emily said.
"You met when I stole that loaf of bread?" Danny asked, knowing that wasn't the best way to meet them.
"Yep, and we treated you to a lot of food." Charlie smiles.
"Well, Dash and his goons did steal my lunch that day. I was hungry." Danny said, sighing.
"Never thought I see anyone eat that fast," Charlie said, giggling.
"Hey, I was hungry!" Danny said, blushing.
"At least the owner understood once we told him the story," Emily said.
"And he tried to ban me for it." Danny sighs.
The three decide to move past that. After all, their real plans start after school. They just had to deal with a few more classes. It was sad that they didn't have the same classes together. Still, they treasure their friendship. And no one could break that apart.
Okay, this is a bit different. In this story, Danny, Charlie, and Emily are already friends. And Danny never met Tucker and Sam. Don't worry, they are still in this story, but they won't be the same people, sorta. This chapter pretty much covers how close the three are. Even though everyone can't understand why Danny would hang out with two of the prettiest girls in school, Charlie and Emily welcome him as their friend.
Now, I want to let everyone know something. Charlie and Emily are human in this story, but I am going to give them their powers. Danny will get his powers the same way, but this time Sam will not the be cause. I have an idea for Charlie. She finds out an old secret about her family, and she finds an artifact that gives her demon powers. Not sure about Emily, yet.
And remember, Fanfiction hasn't added Emily's name in the character List. I saw Sera's, Adam's, and even Lute's, but not Emily's. That's why I'm stuck using OC for her.
