Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one is about Godzilla. Enjoy the 5700-word chapter. I do not own Godzilla; Toei and a few others do.
Raijin stared down Godzilla. The beast was strong, it was his kind… And one whom he could deal with.
Raijin was silent, he stared down the King of the Monsters. He had a lot of different ideas at the time.
He was eager for a fight… But he held up his hands.
"Another…" Godzilla growled.
"Another…" Raijin hissed; jaws slamming shut. "You…. Look like me." Raijin hissed, his voice a low whisper.
He was silent after this. Titans rarely spoke, they killed and communicated through violence and actions, blood, and battle.
But he? He knew better than to react… Better than to fight and it seemed Godzilla knew as well.
"What do you want?" Godzilla growled.
"Passage… There is a friend below." Raijin stated. "You smell of blood," Raijin added, stroking his tail through the water as a makeshift rudder.
He knew better than to fight, a LOT better. Godzilla dwarfed him and was older, his scales smelled of a beast that was far too old.
"Leave… It belongs to the rival…" Godzilla hissed, scales glowing blue.
"Which…? The apes?" Raijin stated, himself silent. "Why do they control the home? Why leave them?" Raijin asked.
It was more a small word than anything else… Small and hurtful but no less effective.
There was something left to deal with… The idea of it all has been too much for now.
It was odd now… Far too odd for now. Godzilla was king but he sensed something deep underground.
Granted? He was going to have issues with it… And he did.
"I am going… If I must fight? I will." Raijin stated before his scales lit up. "Out… Of. My. Way." Raijin hissed, scales glowing a deep red.
He would not flee unless he had to… And right now? Well, he wanted to impress upon his new enemy.
The two stared each other down as he knew a fight was coming at the time.
He had no time for this and he would not allow a fight to stop him… Not now, not later, and not ever.
No. This just would not do… Not at all, something which had been too done now at the time being.
He sighed to himself as he cracked his fingers… Both were tired at the end of the day; they had a lot more to understand.
They had plenty of different issues for now… Both were too tired and he had been eager to fight… They had something else to do for now.
Raijin was too much to distract if for no other reason as it came down to it. They had a lot more to try and think of now… But they were tired, they were curious as of now… It was too much.
He had a lot more on his mind than the other titan and he was all too much distracted for now at the end of it.
He smiled once more as he cracked his fingers… He would find a way.
"Fine… But I will find the spiked one…" Raijin stated, turning.
"Anguirus…" Godzilla stated before Raijin vanished.
Godzilla sat among the depths of the ocean. The one before him was not a child, not as much as others of his kind… But he was arrogant, prideful.
Godzilla did not care to send him to the afterlife… It was another of his kind, his species was almost extinct and he had no desire to kill one who might be the last.
But he was also king. The Apex Titan and Alpha of all upon Earth, if this one reached the Hollow Earth? He would be intruding upon Kong's home and causing issues.
As much as he hated the ape? He had given Hollow Ground as a gift, a sign that if Kong left him alone? He would leave him alone.
Godzilla would interfere… But only if he must, for now? He traveled… As an upstart had not learned her place.
(With Monarch)
The staff stared in awe at the monitors. The two had met… But there was no violence, no violent clash between two apex predators.
"Were they… Communicating?" The director asked.
"It appears so… But all I heard from them were roars." Another staff member stated.
"Titans do not speak the way we do… And we have never seen another of Godzilla's species." Came the voice of one Dr. Chen.
"Where is Raijin headed?" The director asked as the staff continued to type up data.
"Seems… Barbados." The staff stated.
"One of the Hollow Earth portals," Chen stated as Director Guillerman frowned.
"Is he looking for Kong?" Guillerman asked.
"Raijin seems to have been asleep for millennia. So unlikely… There are countless Titans underground, perhaps he is looking for someone." Chen stated as Guillerman frowned.
If Raijin breached Hollow Earth? There would be problems but he also did not know WHAT this titan wanted and WHY it was busy hunting.
The problem was complex but it was his job as director to answer these sorts of questions.
"Continue to monitor, warn everyone at the outpost, and close all shipping lanes… We do not know if he is friendly or an enemy." Guillerman stated before he frowned.
He was too distracted at the time, curious… Another Titan of Godzilla's species? He still considered issues for now.
He had been too distracted for now… Right now? He had issues to deal with for now.
For now? He was busy thinking of how this Titan might be, what issues might arise from it being on Earth, and what it might do.
He stared at the screen, Raijin was moving but underwater, far from humans, unlike Godzilla who rarely avoided them.
He guessed that both had different ideas of humanity. Raijin was silent for many years only to be asked to wake up by Ghidorah… The three-headed beast had tried to control all monsters on Earth, what would Raijin have done if he had met them? What would he do if there were other threats to Earth? Would he fight? Would he cause issues? What would occur?
He did not know; he could not possibly know and it bothered him to an insane degree.
Granted? At the end of the day? He was going to cause issues either way but some confirmation on whether he was going to do it on purpose or not was an issue.
There were plenty of issues, and plenty of ideas for them now. Raijin seemed weaker than Godzilla and the reports seemed to force them to believe Godzilla could and would stop them if push came to shove.
He was never going to be able to relax, never once would he decide to try and think of it all. He relaxed more to try and think of it logically, in a way that he could and should understand.
"Are there any Titans near Barbados?" Guillerman questioned.
"Varan…" They heard as he blinked.
"The guardian of the islands… Is Raijin hunting him?" He asked only to get a shake of the head.
"No. He doesn't seem like he's going towards their hunting zone, he's headed for the outer limits." He stated before he sighed to himself.
He thought of what was growing on his mind. He thought of something when it came to it… He was distracted for now and he had plenty on his mind and he relaxed himself before he cracked his mind.
(With Raijin)
Raijin seemed to be distracted for the moment and cracked his fingers, the beast relaxed within the costal warriors and then thought of what to deal with.
He was all too tired, and distracted at the end of the day, something about it all when it crashed to the ground.
There was something else to deal with for now. They had a lot more to deal with for now.
They were too thrown off… The Titan took a deep breath, he paused for a moment to gather strength.
The smell of the flying king was nearby. Varan was too much for him to hunt down, he ruled these isles for centuries and it seemed he had stayed here since then.
Perhaps he was still present. Raijin needed to find him and cause issues, for now, he was all too interested in finding out if he was ok.
He was going to hunt him and if he had to? He would assert himself for now but he would not kill him.
There was something to deal with and he needed help, he needed plenty of help for now as he thought of it.
He had a lot more on his platter… Right now? The little ones were coming to find him.
So, he could ask them for answers as he thought of it all, he had to end it.
He had a lot more to try and think of what was growing on his mind… He had a lot of different ideas as he shook his scaly head.
There was a lot more to try and do… And something below seemed to call him.
As did something within the cosmos, making him tilt his head towards the sky.
(Within the sky)
The beast headed towards Earth… Ghidorah had failed him, he would take no chances further…
When Godzilla had awakened, a few strands of DNA had made it into the cosmos…. And gave birth to another Godzilla.
A Spacegodzilla… The beast who had reigned space as Godzilla reigned land. It was clear between them that something had gone wrong.
Spacegodzilla wanted Earth and while Ghidorah had not known it? The crystal tyrant had decided that Ghidorah would be a great pawn for the plan if he won. Spacegodzilla would have challenged him for control of Earth.
Now? Now without Ghidorah to control it? Spacegodzilla had taken control of the minions of the great space dragon.
And he sent them to Earth… Eager to control it… And they would not be able to deny his claim on Earth.
He would rule… And he was all too eager to do it.
With a wave of his hand? Another Titan descended on Earth. The right hand of Ghidorah, the cyborg terror who had been enhanced by servants long ago.
The Titan was smaller than Spacegodzilla but no less powerful than most warriors, most Titans, spiked horns poked from his back, blades jutting from his toes, his back… And spiked blades sprouted from the edge of his hands.
With a horrid cackle, the beast flew towards Earth, eager to cut and kill. The beast would control Earth for him and he would reign.
(With Raijin)
Raijin finally sliced through the surface, his spines cutting through the water like butter. He had been too distracted but he looked to the side, expecting something.
He raised his scaly head, his head slowly tilting as he growled… Then came the bellow of a prince.
The call echoed across the shores of Barbados, the islanders and Monarch workers all turned.
Raijin raised himself from the ocean, looking over at them. The little ones were familiar to him, their cries were of fear and despair but he meant them no harm. The little ones bothered him but they were ants to him, he would not hate ants for biting a monster such as him, their attacks did not draw blood nor force him back.
He had been curious as to HOW this world had changed. He had something else to do for now and for good.
The cry was finally answered by the Titan resident of the area. It echoed towards him like a battle cry and he welcomed it, the prince of storms had come to talk… Not to fight.
But he would fight if the flying king did not welcome him as he had years before this one.
He slowly rose himself above the water, curious as to how it would end for now.
He was curious as to how he distracted himself for now. He had a lot more to try and think of now when it was all said and done.
Something like this was all too much… He had plenty of problems… But he was not going to have an issue with them.
He was all too eager to distract himself, for now, he was bothered but the little ones caused damage.
And he was too disturbed for now and he had a lot more to try and do now for the end of this.
Raijin looked over at the hill, too thrown off… Smells unfamiliar, this world is too odd.
But the screech was followed by a beast like him. He growled and let out a screech which was picked up by the beast in front of him.
Varan…
(With Monarch)
Guillerman looked at the monitor which showed all the data picked up by their drones.
[Titanius Varan]
Height: 280 feet.
Abilities: Flight, ability to create class 4 hurricanes, bioelectric lightning blast, poisonous spines.
The beast was covered in horns, a hulking brute of a titan whose wings were folded inside the fat of his arms. The Titan was not as tall and not as powerful as Raiin but showed no fear. The titan glared at Raijin, his tan-colored body turning to him as he hopped along the island, walking on all fours toward the water
Raijin snorted but roared over at him. There was a moment then several shrieks from Varan as he looked at him.
Both beasts continued this barrage of roars, appearing to communicate in their own words.
"Their communicating…" Dr. Chen stated, looking at them with interest.
There was a moment of silence, a nod from Raijin seemed to end this talk for now.
"What did he say?" Guillerman asked, looking to the side.
There were a few seconds of silence, none of them had seen a Kaiju, a TITAN talk to another of their kind. Not in extended dialogue as Raijin slowly yet surely waded up from the ocean.
He knew more than them, it was clear he was acting so very casual to Varan… Had these two met before? Had they dueled another time? Varan showed little fear despite Raijin dwarfing the reptilian Titan, it at least showed they had plenty of history.
They were talking, they were speaking, communicating. Raijin kept his distance but glared at the amber eyes of the titan, his scales burning crimson.
Varan snorted, backed off, issued a small shriek, and strode away, tail swinging in his way as the reptilian titan flew off. Raijin huffed but watched him before staring up at the drones meant to watch him.
The reptilian titan tilted his head, looking more like a crocodile that had just spotted fresh meat than a bloodthirsty monster. There was SOMETHING resembling intelligence as he snorted, turned, and leaped back into the ocean.
He was not to do something… Not yet, not before he caused issues with every single little beast and monster present, he was tired and he was beaten down at the time being, he was distracted too much to figure out a plan.
Right now? He had plenty of issues with planning to win, not that he would let that stop him so easily now, and for a good reason sadly.
The Titan knew something was coming, he could smell war on the horizon. The problem? Unlike Godzilla? He was rusty and out of practice when it came to attempting to win.
So? For now? He would find help and he could smell at least one other Kaiju nearby that could and should be able to help him when he was able to fight again.
The only problem was simple, he would be pushing himself toward his limit. He would happily cause issues for the false king if he could find him.
But if the false king had so many followers still? He would need help to win, that was going to be a problem and a half.
The issues would also be with how to fight off such a threat knowing the army still swamped him with soldiers and he was not Godzilla, he lacked followers besides Varan who at best? Would not be as reliable as most.
The other issue? He needed soldiers with skill… There was at least one guardian titan he could call on. The brother of the queen of monsters.
He hummed, Raijin was silent for a few moments and then went to flee into the deeper ocean waters, it would cause problems with him and he would not be amused easily.
He almost yawned, his jaws almost snapping shut like a snapping turtle. Raijin was bored as much as he was tired, he had plenty of issues with trying to take back his throne.
As son of Dagon? He was a soldier, he was Prince of Titans as Godzilla was king, and he was given a mantle to live up to.
Yes, it seemed he had a lot of different ideas for now… And he would need to figure something out at the time being.
He was all too much for now. The false king challenged the surface world.
So, the false king… The Skar King? Would DIE if he was able to get his friends together.
(With Monarch)
"Did Raijin just talk to Varan?" The staff heard. "Talked? Had a conversation… I thought it was impossible." They heard.
There was silence… Very silent. They had not seen two titans besides Godzilla and Mothra speak to one another. They were smart but not considered human-like in intelligence.
Now? it seemed they were learning to speak, to talk… And it was surprising to them at the time as to WHAT was currently pushing them towards the next point of progress.
What did Raijin want? He seemed to cut a deal with Varan, something Godzilla did not do on account of being the king. It seemed Raijin was recruiting for something.
But what happened to be the question… And it was clear that they needed to be done for now… Something like this was too much for now.
(With Raijin)
Raijin continued to swim through the ocean, his entire body twisting like he was a top. He was all too much to deal with for now as he cracked his fingers.
He was amused… But he had been cut through enough… And if the Skar King was coming? He would be ready.
He would be ready for it now, they had plenty left to deal with… And he was annoyed.
Raijin snorted as he realized Godzilla knew as well, the call was to him and him alone. Raijin only heard it because he could understand the call to begin with and he could smell Hollow Earth at the time.
Sadly? There were a lot of different issues now, a LOT more than he could handle alone, hence him looking for backup.
The problem was he did not know who would listen to him and his authority was limited compared to Godzilla. He would be unable to force them to comply and while he wanted power? He would prove it without force.
Plus? There was nothing causing issues enough to force him to fight and on top of that? To fight to begin with was going to cause issues if he was too tired to fight back at all.
To be fair? There was little he knew he could do if push came to shove, little he could do now. He had a lot more to try and think of what was growing on his mind.
There was something to be done as he smiled, his entire mind cracked in half. But he knew more and more he had plenty of work left.
(Within Hollow Earth)
Shimo was tired… She was tired, she was massive, the first titan… The one who had lived before she looked to the side. She HATED the ape who controlled her, she HATED him but he was too much worn down at the end of it.
Shimo knew the monster wanted her to attack. Because he did not care about anything besides power.
She glared out from behind the lava. She had hatred in her eyes but not for the ape with the axe but for the one with the sash.
They were too much as she growled at the Skar King. She wanted nothing more than to crush him under her claws and if given half a chance? She would have.
Then he brought out the crystal, the damn stone which made her mind bleed, she screamed in abject pain, slamming her head into the lava-rich soil, scales flaring as if her heart was dying.
He forced her towards the ape with the axe. She was not stupid, he was stronger than Skar King, much stronger, and if it was going to be an issue? He would have lost; he would have lost by a landslide in Shimo's mind.
But the false king did not care, he directed her fury towards the ape who was not her enemy. She was forced to charge up her frostbite blast as she felt every part of her body continue to feel pain.
If she was not in blistering agony? The Skar King was going to die, she would kill him.
The ape attempted to block her hit with the axe… But it was useless, her power had frozen Earth itself and she was stronger than any warriors.
Ice spread over his hands, throwing the axe from his hands, and sending it skidding through the stone and shattering a small building-sized stone. The great ape Titan was sent flying, his hand burning with agony as he screamed.
The Skar King laughed and giggled insanely as she was forced to fire again and again, like a living artillery cannon. He fled as everything turned to ice around him, galloping forwards as the other Titan Kongs… The Skar King's army pursued.
Shimo, free from the burden of pain, turned and slammed her tail into the Skar King, slamming the tyrant into the wall.
He climbed to his feet, blood dribbling from his busted lip as Shimo roared.
"KNEEL!" The Skar King roared, aiming the crystal at her. "Weak! Pathetic!" The Skar King said, grinning as Shimo was forced to slam her face into the ground.
"Coward…" Shimo hissed. "You can't even fight your own battles," Shimo stated, her scales lighting up and down.
"He was beneath me…" Skar King said as Shimo snorted.
Shimo was tired, too distracted for now as he thought of it all now. He had a lot more to try and think of when it came down to the side.
Shimo growled but stayed silent, she could not kill him even if he wanted to, really distract himself enough that he died.
If nothing else? There was something to be said about HOW this was working out and HOW it was being done.
He was tired now. He turned to look to the side as he cracked his fingers.
He had been too distracted and Shimo growled, knowing what was occurring and what would be done as she paused, knowing that Skar King would fail.
He always failed; he would continue to fail as he had centuries ago against Godzilla. The monster that he was did not care about a single person, there was just too much for now as he thought of it all.
He would fail but Shimo would be dragged along when it came down to it. Skar King was nothing more than a tyrant and he did not care at the end of the day, something like this was all too much for her who simply slumped to the ground.
Shimo was all too tired, she knew the piece of trash was going to be a problem in the coming days either way and she was nothing more than a slave.
They had plenty of things to think of and she was all too tired for now far beyond chaotic for now and unwilling to admit to dealing with work the same way they had to.
Granted? He was going to be distracted for now, something for now.
He had a lot more to try and think of it all when it came crashing down.
She was silent, distracted for now… But she would have murdered him without a single second left for now when it came crashing down.
But? She had problems, she could and would continue to have problems for now… And she did not know how long it would take for her to get the courage and ability to do so.
So instead? She simply slumped her head and dreamed of the titan being murdered and herself slumbering for now.
(With Raijin)
Raijin continued to swim through the ocean, tired but no less training himself for the coming battle. The Prince of Titans was aware of the things within Hollow Earth calling to him.
He was tired, too distracted by what was coming. He had to find his next follower, Baragon, the lord of tunnels… He would not bow as easily but it was going to be hard to convince himself not to fight.
He had a lot more to try and think of something for now. Raiin continued to swim, tensing himself to dive below the water.
Before he could do so? There were a few seconds of silence, a light tensed inside the sky and then a beam of light slammed into him.
Raijin spun, his body burning as the creature growled. The titan seemed to be in horrid pain for a few seconds before he collected himself, turned, and recovered.
He was enraged by this. The titan pulled himself out of the water, his body dripping with water as he readied himself for battle.
The titan who did so perched atop a stone amid the water. It smirked, a hellish smirk crossing its beak as it let out a cry of pride.
Raijin roared, his body rearing up as he faced down the enemy titan. He looked over at the enemy, amused for now as he guessed that the titan meant to kill him.
This titan had green scales that were as bright as emerald, a visor as crimson as blood, and a blade-tipped tail. He had been curious as to who this was and Raijin found himself curious as to how this would occur.
If nothing else? There was a period where he found solace in it all now.
Something like this was going to push the young prince but? He welcomed it, he wanted nothing more than to fight, nothing more than to crack his skull.
So? It seemed he was going to do so either way now. He had nothing more than a desire to fight and prove his power, nothing further than to fight, flex his muscles, and strike down this enemy to his power.
If need be. He would ensure they died in pain for trying to hunt him and he would ensure victory went to him.
He sighed to himself, tired… And distracted for now. He was beaten down at the time being… Raijin was eager for a fight either way.
The enemy titan roared, a shriek in between a bird and a machine as their single eye locked onto him.
Raijin roared in response once more, charging forward at his enemy with his claws extended towards them.
He growled, leaping into a tackle that the enemy titan dodged, teleporting in a flash of light as Rajin snorted. He turned, pivoting around towards him as he thought of his options.
He could either kill them or he could deal with the exhaustion written on his face. Raijin turned, his scales glowing crimson as he prepared to fire his atomic fire at them.
He knew damn well that he could deal with them, his scales blazed with energy as a blast of atomic fire hit them in the side.
The massive monster was thrown into the ocean, screaming in pain as its body burned. He chuckled, his body snorting as Raijin waited for their move.
He turned and looked over at them, he was curious as to what was going on in his mind… They were strong enough to fight but they seemed to be pushing him in a fight he was not used to.
Right now? Raijin wanted this fight and he would get his fight.
The beast tossed itself at the reptilian titan, slicing at him with his blades as Raijin brought up his hands to catch them. Shockwaves came which tossed the water around them like rice in a pot, Raijin pushed the titan back and spun, slamming his tail into the beast's face.
They fell, slamming into the water as Raijin descended upon them, claws bared to cut through their flesh if given a chance.
He was all too amused by their power, they were strong. Yet? He was given less power as he tried to fight him as best he could.
Raijin was greeted by a laser which hit him in the face. He turned and growled, roaring in agony as the beast hooked its blades into his flesh.
Raijin screamed as he thought of himself, he was all too angry. How dare this usurper attempt to kill him, he was curious as to HOW he would win this fight.
All he knew? He was curious as to how this fight would go and he would kill them.
The crash into the ground was too much for now. He pushed himself to his feet, cracked his fingers, and then paused about what to deal with.
He was all too eager to fight for now and he knew what was growing on his mind. They were both coming to a head now and this fight was coming to a head sooner or later.
The beast roared at Raijin as blood came from his shoulders, his skin split on his arms and he growled, pain for now coursed through him.
Black thick blood fell into the ocean as he paused, growling. Fine, he wanted a fight?
He grabbed the beast by the head and slammed his fist into his head, causing the monster he would soon get to know as Gigan to collapse into the water.
He dodged another slice across the hips and slammed his head into Gigan's face, sending Gigan wading back before Gigan raised his head to fire a blast from his eye.
Raijin was curious as to what Gigan was attempting for now. He had cut himself up for now on fighting this titan… Yet he powered through the pain to blast Gigan once again with his atomic breath, sending him toppling into the water.
Raijin gripped his wounded shoulder and growled, the muscle and sinew within cut deep if he could not have healed. The reptilian titan did not believe he would have managed with his arm.
Instead? He turned and dove into the water, his body slowly healing as he left Gigan motionless in the water, content with what he had done.
He did not notice Gigan's face light back up as he paused, squawking, and glaring into the sky. He would not fail his master and he would not allow them to get in the way.
He was all too distracted for now; he had a lot more to try and do for now… Like how he distracted himself for now.
Raijin needed to find Baragon at the end of today as he thought of himself and how well he would heal up in time.
His eyes glowed as energy shot through him. if nothing else? He would be prepared for what was to come, he would not falter.
The thing that he had been too much distracted by was that it seemed another titan was calling to him within Hollow Earth, he was curious as to HOW this would go.
Raijin growled and vanished into the ocean. He was all too eager to get to work on it now and if there was the promise of another fight in the future? Bonus for him.
(With Monarch)
All the staff present were busy checking on what their readings were. The titan had come from space… Like Ghidorah.
They had plenty of questions and it seemed Raijin had killed him in combat, he had present ideas for now and it seemed they were part of a bigger game.
"Is Raijin moving towards any other known cities or Titans?" they heard as one of them turned towards the side.
It was clear, clear beyond all too much for now… Something like this was harsher and harsher to deal with… But now? There was a lot more to deal with and he knew what was growing on his mind.
If nothing else? There was work left to deal with, things they could not stand and it was more than enough.
Something within him to the end told him Raijin was doing his best to find help when it was all said and done.
Raijin was silent, he had not spoken to the beast as he thought of what Raijin wanted before he sighed to himself.
The titans surprised him, he would be lying if he had been shocked Raijin had beaten him.
"Who was that titan?" They heard as he sighed to himself. "They have a lot more questions at the time being." He stated before he shook his head and thought of it all.
There was something to be destroyed. If Raijin and Godzilla were hunting for something? Did it tell Monarch anything? It did not seem they were hunting Kong, not again. No, it seemed Raijin was recruiting titans for something.
He had a lot of questions but he obviously could not try and distract them or talk to them at the end of the day.
Author Notes
Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed.
The next chapter will be mostly about Raijin and Shimo…. Mostly because Shimo has NO characterization and such.
I am including the other Titans and making the Skar King more dangerous.
The next scene will also be shorter.
Until the 2-10 month wait and the 900–6500-word chapter, Lighting Wolf out!
