With Tutankhamun believed to be dead, Ankhesenamun is finally free to marry the man her duty long denied her, General Ka. When the pharaoh seemingly returns from the dead, he begins to purge the palace of traitors, starting with Ka. But just when she thinks all hope is lost, a twist of fate gives her a choice: to remain loyal to her dynasty, or chase happiness into the unknown.

Begins during Part II of the series when Suhad announces she's carrying the Pharaoh's child. Turns out, an heir born out of passion is the legacy that Tut truly wanted.
