While my muse refused to cooperate with my ongoing stories for the last week or so, I got this brainbug in an attempt to get back to writing A Tale of Blood and Steel. What if Inquisitor and Knock-off Saint Veil and company ended up in an alternative ME verse that is inspired by both ME and WH40K smashed together in somewhat 'bright' fashion?

Sanguinius manages to overcome Horus and with his final breath, he saves his sons and the Imperium, yet his soul is not taken by Dark Gods. Instead, he is reborn in a universe, where Humanity is only making it's first steps into the Galaxy, and is fighting the First Contact War. Imperium and Emperor are gone, but Humanity is here, and the Great Angel will never abandon it.
