Tom marvelled at what he was seeing, an entire cave made of crystal formations and dragons of all different kinds flying around.

"Whoa, this is… this is…" said Tom, unable to find the right words. "I don't know what this is, a hidden world."

The dragon roared in agreement.

"You don't have to ask me twice; let's go!" said Tom excitedly.

His phone then vibrated, and the dragon looked concerned, no doubt the first time it had ever heard a mobile go off.

"No, no, no, it's just my phone," he assured him as he pulled it out, and then he saw the message he had just received. "Oh no. Mom is heading home? I've gotta go!"

Then quickly ran out of the cave; the dragon looked as if it was in two minds about whether to follow Tom or explore this new cave. In the end, he decided to follow Tom and chase after him.

Tom reached the mouth of the cave, but he soon realised that he had a new problem. He could not climb his way out of the fissure in time to get back to the dome before his mother.

The dragon appeared alongside him and growled.

"Yeah, I'm going to need a lift, Pal," Tom agreed.

The dragon invited him on his back, and they took off.

"She's leaving work now!" said Tom looking at his phone. "Can you… you know, step on it?"

The dragon roared happily and obliged by flying even faster than before. It moved so fast that Tom slipped off its back and would have fallen into the fissure rehab grabbed its tail. As they climbed at the fissure, Tom climbed his way back up the dragon's back.

Once they reached the top, Tom almost fell off a dragon once more, and when he looked down and discovered that they were now directly over the research station. The dragon and unleashing of electrical surge down upon the research station and the town, shorting out all the electrical systems.

Olivia had to pull out her torch in order to navigate the dark when all the lights went out.

Jun was reading a book in her room when her bedside light sorted out. She then got out of bed and looked at the window curiously.

James was also affected, unable to read his comic any more detail and wondering what was going on.

Tom was flying directly over the town when he saw his mother returning to their dome. He was so frantic about getting into trouble that he failed to notice his hair sticking out again.

"Oh man, she's almost home; hurry!" he said. Tom then looked up and saw that there were heading straight towards a wind turbine. "Look out!"

The dragon quickly pulled up and circled back around before they got skewered. He then quickly dived and landed down upon Tom's dome. Tom looked over the edge and saw that his mother was just about to enter the dome.

Fortunately, the skylight window was open slightly, allowing him to slip through.

"Tom, I'm home," said Olivia as she had just entered the house.

Tom just jumped down from the ceiling onto the couch just as the lights turned back on.

"Oh hey, Mom," Tom waved as he sat there casually.

Olivia just looked at his hair. "I don't think I'll ever get used to that hair. You look like you've been electrocuted."

She then walked away, and Tom gave a sigh of relief.

The next morning, Tom began making his way back to the cave, but he saw Chief Baker operating the motion sensors.

"Argh, I forgot about the sensors," he cursed.

He then knelt down and pulled his phone out, trying to think, when he heard a growling sound. He looked up and saw the shaved sheep glaring at him. Clearly, it hadn't forgiven him for shaving him a few days ago.

"You…" said Tom.

The sheep then charged at him, and Tom quickly jumped out of the way. He kept going until he rounded into Chief Baker from behind.

"Ow!" he said, slowly turning around to face the sheep.

The sheep just looked at him innocently and barred.

Chief Baker was not as amused and glared at him, and the sheep quickly ran away.

Tom then turned his attention back to his home and got an idea. "Looks like a job for Cinnabot538."

Alex was currently in her dome playing with her laptop when she saw Tom pacing himself against her window, making her jump.

"Shhh!" Tom whispered.

Alex looked as if she nearly had a heart attack and opened the window.

"Sorry, Alex, didn't mean to scare you," Tom apologised.

"Sneaking up on people is my thing," she said.

"I need some help."

"That's abundantly clear."

"I have to get past the fence line without setting off the sensors. Can Cinnabot538 do some high-tech computer thingy to get me through like he did with the maps?"

Alex crossed her arms. "Maps are one thing, Tom; hacking past the security firewall is a high-tech computer thingy that could get me into a lot of trouble."

"You're right; I shouldn't have even asked," Tom agreed. "I'll figure something else out."

He then turned and walked away.

"What, you're sure?" said Tom surprised, looking back at her. "I don't want you to get busted."

"Just hand me the phone before I change my mind."

Tom then handed her his phone behind closed the window behind her. He then leaned against the dome just as Chief Baker walked by, whistling casually. He nearly toppled over when Alex opened the window again, and she handed him back his phone.

"Okay, just tap the cinnamon toast icon; it'll deactivate the sensors long enough for you to run past," she explained.

"Thanks, Alex," Tom smiled. "Also, why cinnamon toast?"

"No reason. Why do you get past the sensors?"

"No reason."

"Guess we both have secrets, don't we," he said and closed the window.

Tom shook his head and began making his way back to the perimeter. Once he was certain that there was no one around, he activated the app Alex had installed. When he looked at the sensors, he saw that the red lights turned green.

"Thank you, Cinnabot538," Tom smiled.

He then began to leave town, unaware that he was being watched by both Jun and James.

"Okay, I admit he's up to something," said James looking at Jun. "but that does not necessarily mean he's hiding a dragon in the woods."

"No, that would be silly," Jun agreed. "He would hide it in a cave or cove somewhere."

James rolled his eyes. "Of course, he would."

The two of them followed Tom as he made his way into the woods.

Tom was almost at the cave.

"Going somewhere, Kullersen?" said a voice behind him.

Tom turned around and saw Jun with James standing beside her.

"Uh…" he said, not sure what to say.

"Are you two stalking me?" Tom asked accusingly. "That's so sneaky."

"We're sneaky; I think you have asked mixed up with yourself," said Jun.

"Yeah, you don't exactly have a moral high ground here," James agreed.

Jun's eyes then turned to the cave. "Ah, is that where you keep the dragon?"

"What?! Dragon? Come on, don't be ridiculous," said Tom. "There is no dragon."

"Then you won't mind if we take a look," James smiled.

"It's just an ordinary cave. There is no need to follow me like a lost sheep," said Tom.

"Tom, it's me. I've known you since grade school, remember?" Jun reminded him. "I know particularly well when you're lying. There is something in that hole."

"No doubt something big, with wings and covered in scales," James added.

"Wait, you know where I'm lying?" said Tom.

"You put on your charming, mysterious smile," said Jun. Tom then quickly remove the smile from his mouth. "Your confident shoulder swag." Tom then placed his arms behind his back. "Your smelly armpits."

"'Smelly armpits?'" said Tom as he went to sniff his armpits.

Jun then used this opportunity to get around him and headed straight towards the hole.

"Jun, wait!" Tom yelled.

"Never tell an Aries to wait," said Jun as she jumped down into the cave.

James looked at Tom and raised an eyebrow. "What made you think she wasn't going to go in the hole? Also, for future reference, your very terrible liar."

Tom groaned, and the two of them followed Jun inside.

"Whoa," said Jun as she looked around.

Tom looked around nervously, hoping against hope that the dragon wasn't home.

James looked at him curiously. "You seem a little anxious for someone who says there's not been inside."

"Oh, you never know what's inside the cave," said Tom nervously.

"Which is exactly the reason why we are investigating," James smirked.

They eventually reached the bottom of the cave, and Jun pulled out her phone, using it to shine some light.

"See, there's nothing down here," said Tom.

"Incredible," said James as he marvelled at the cave.

"Whoa," said Jun, equally stunned. "What is this place?"

"Uh, it's just a cave," Tom shrugged. "Seeing one, you've seen them all. Let's just go—"

They then heard a growling sound in the shadows.

"What was that?" said James.

Jun shone the light into the shadows, and there they saw, fast asleep, the dragon. It then awoke, and both Jun and James gasped. It then rose to its feet and began making its way towards them.

At first, they thought it was going to attack them, but then it pounced directly over them and slammed into Tom, and both of them believed it would eat him.

"Kullersen!" Jun yelled.

"No!" James yelled.

However, they heard laughter and saw that the dragon was playing with Tom.

"All right, all right, stop it!" Tom laughed. "Get off of me. Go on."

"You're laughing," Jun stared.

"Not the reaction I would have expected," said James.

The dragon soon stopped playing with Tom and looked at Jun and James with curiosity.

"That's a—" said Jun staring at the dragon, speechless.

"Sure is," said Tom.

"A real dragon," Jun gasped. "I-I can't believe it. I mean, of course, I believe it; I've always believed it. But now that it's right here looking at me, I can't believe it."

"That makes two of us," said James as they slowly approached the dragon. "I've never seen a creature quite like this before."

"You can touch him if you want," Tom offered and then looked at the dragon. "You okay they touch you, pal?"

The dragon merely smiled, and they took this as permission. Both Jun and James slowly reached out to the dragon and touched him. Once their anxiety and fear evaporated, both of them just stared at the dragon in awe.

"I can't believe I'm actually touching a real living dragon," said James in disbelief. "If this is a dream, don't wake me up."

"Same here," said Jun. "I've been telling anyone who would listen for as long as I can remember that dragons are real. And I was right!"

"You were definitely right," Tom agreed.

"I'm sorry I ever doubted," said James.

"Wait, that means yetis and chupacabras must be real, too!" said Jun excitedly.

Tom and James looked at one another and then back to Jun.

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," said Tom.

"Yeah, one mythological creature a day is enough for me," said James.

"What's his name?" Jun asked, looking at the dragon.

"I haven't named him yet," said Tom as she scratched the dragon under his chin. "But he does have this lightning thing that is really amazing."

The dragon produced a small surge of electricity before collapsing to the ground and rolling onto his back.

"A lightning dragon?" said Jun.

"Yeah, So… so, I thought I call him Thunder," said Tom.

"Because Lightning is too on the nose?" Jun assumed.

Tom shrugged as he scratched Thunder's belly. "Yeah, I went back and forth."

"I think it's a good name," said James.

"Aww, you like the name Thunder? Do you?" said Jun as she scratched Thunder, and he growled happily. "I think he likes it."

She then got to her feet and reached for her phone. "Oh, I've gotta get a picture."

Tom immediately stopped her. "No, no, no, no!"

"You don't understand; my mom has to see this," said Jun.

"She can't," said Tom flatly.

"Tom, she thinks everything that I believe in is silly kid stuff. You don't know how it feels; she needs to know the truth. She needs to know that her daughter isn't crazy."

"Plus, we can hardly keep the scientific discovery as a new species," James added.

"Believe me, I want to tell my mom to guys, but we just can't," said Tom. "It's too dangerous for the dragons."

"We can't even trust her own moms?" said Jun.

"We can't trust the Rakke Corp, and both of our moms work for them."

Jun looked at her phone and reluctantly put it away. "Yeah, okay, you're right."

Tom and looked at James sighed. "I'll keep it secret as well."

"Thank you," said Tom gratefully.

"You just said dragons plural," Jun noted.

"Well, they know this much, Pal," said Tom looking at Thunder. "Shall we show them the rest?"

Thunder nodded.

"Yeah, I think so too," Tom smiled.

Thunder then spread his wings, and Tom mounted on his back.

"I was wondering if you are going to take it out on a flight," James Martin excitedly joined him.

Tom looked at Jun, who wasn't as enthusiastic. "You said that your chart addicted something big was going to happen. This is pretty big."

"Uh, well…" she said, backing away. "You know I really should go through my chart, make sure that it's safe for air travel and everything."

"Jun, Jun, it's safe," Tom assured her.

Thunder then used his tail to notch her closer to them. Jun then smiled and took Tom's hand, and Thunder immediately galloped, causing her to panic.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Jun yelled as Tom lifted her up so that she was now in front of him, and she quickly covered her eyes.

Thunder took off and dived deep into the cave; seconds later, they flew directly into the fissure.

"Why am I in front?" Jun screamed.

"Better view," Tom smiled.

Jun responded by having Tom wrap her arms around her waist so that she wouldn't roll to her death.

"I would be a lot safer if there were seat belts!" James yelled.

Thunder then dived down into the fissure before levering out into the lava waterfall area. Both Jun and James stop screaming to marvel at the site. Tears began to form in Jun's eyes, and she rubbed Thunder's head.

"Hey, you okay there?" Tom asked.

Jun nodded, brushing the tears away. "I've never seen anything like this."

"This place is amazing," said James.

"Just wait until you see where we're going," said Tom.

Moments later, they reached the crystal cave, but before entering, Tom covered Jun's eyes with his hands.

"Hmm, how am I supposed to see anything with you covering my eyes?" Jun asked as he tried to remove his hands.

"Hold on, hold on," said Tom. "We're almost there?"

"Is James keeping his eyes shut?" Jun asked.

"Don't worry there, shut up," James assured her as Thunder guided him into the cavern.

Tom then stopped as he looked to the cavern. "Wow, never get used to it, do you?"

"Get used to what?" Jun asked, starting to get annoyed.

"Yeah, we still have our eyes shut," said James.

"Oh, sorry, you can look now," said Tom moving his hands.

Both Jun and James opened their eyes and stared in shock as they looked at the crystal cavern with the dragons flying around.

"That's a lot of dragons," said Jun.

"looks like the whole world," said Tom.

"Here be dragons, literally," said James.

"Has this place been here the whole time?" Jun asked.

"I don't know; I'm getting when the fissure was formed, it opened the door," Tom assumed. "It's unbelievable."

Jun's eyes fell upon some tiny dragons flying past them, and one of them flew around her.

"Aww, hi there, little guy," said Jun scratching the little dragon. "I can't believe how friendly they are. I thought all dragons breed defiant terrorised villagers."

"Guess you can't believe everything you read," said Tom.

"Some dragons might be friendlier than others, and they could still be very territorial," James warned.

"You worry too much," said Jun.

Thunder then growled.

"What is it, Pal?" Tom asked.

"Tom! James! Look!" Jun pointed.

They followed her gaze and saw a group of dragons in front of them. These ones were very bulky and resembled rhinoceroses; they even had a massive horn on their heads that looked as if it was made of crystal. In fact, they could see was to be crystals going out of their legs and tail. On their back, they could see that it looked like a beetle shell.

These dragons began making their way to a large crystal and used their wall to chip away some. Then they began to eat the shards.

"They eat crystals," said Tom. "That makes sense."

"We are dealing with a new species; we don't know what they're capable of," said James.

"None of this is in any of my dragon books," said Jun as she moved closer towards these dragons.

Tom and James were about to follow, but Thunder quickly blocked their path, looking rather worried.

"Jun, Jun, slow down," said Tom. "Something doesn't feel right."

Jun wasn't listening and was getting closer towards the dragons. "Look at you guys, aren't you beautiful."

One of them turned to look at her, and it didn't look particularly happy.

"Hey, it's okay," she said gently. "I'm Jun."

The dragon didn't seem to care as it immediately roared at her angrily.

"I don't think these dragons like to be disturbed when they're eating," said James.

"Thunder, get us out of here!" Tom yelled.

Thunder quickly took off, grabbing Tom and James before heading towards Jun. The crystal dragon was now charging at her, and she quickly ran away from it.

"Jun!" Tom yelled, reaching out to her.

Jun grabbed his hand, and Thunder flew them to safety. Then a split second later, the dragon fired what appeared to be a firebomb straight at them, and soon the other dragons took part. One of these firebombs grazed them, and they began heading straight back towards the ground in a crash die.

"We're going down!" Tom yelled.

They hit the ground, and all of them were flung off in different directions.

"I guess some dragons do breathe fire," Jun groaned.

"Those are more like bombs," said Tom.

"I don't care what they are, but we should avoid getting hit by them," said James.

No sooner had he said that they found another body of firebombs at them, and they quickly ran in different directions.

Tom and James hid behind cover, but then they noticed the crystal dragons were now chasing Jun.

"Oh no, Jun," Tom gasped.

Jun ran dotting the firebombs and quickly hit behind a large crystal just as the crystal dragon smashed through one.

"Thunder, save Jun!" Tom yelled at Thunder as he flew overhead. "Save Jun!"

Thunded then quickly dived down towards Jun as the crystal dragon was moments away from discovering her.

"Thunder!" Jun yelled, jumping out into the open.

However, the ground beneath her collapsed due to cracks forming from the crystal dragon's heavy footsteps before Thunder could grab her. She screamed as she suddenly fell into an underground lake, which had no other exit apart from the hole in the ceiling.

"Okay, that's not good," she said.

She then suddenly saw movement in the water and first fought it was another dragon. However, it was, in fact, a fish, and she gave a sigh of relief.

"It's just a fish," she said, relieved as it swam away.

Unfortunately, there was more movement in the water.

"Another fish," she said hopefully.

However, she knew that it was far too big to be a fish, and she quickly backed away as a Dragon's head emerged from the water. This dragon appeared to have a very long neck, and its head resembled that of the Chinese Dragon; it even had a small beard on its bottom lip with red scales.

She quickly tried to get away from it, but the surface of the crystals was just too slippery. Then a second head appeared, looking exactly like the first except blue. Then it flew out of the water, revealing that it was a two-headed dragon. Its main body had yellow scales and two large wings, one red and the other blue.

"Whoa," Jun gasped. "A two-headed dragon."

Then suddenly struck the ceiling with both its head causing the entire chamber to shake, and the crystal from the ceiling fell down towards her.

"And it's trapped in here with me!" she screamed and quickly jumped in the way.

Aboveground, both Tom and James were hiding from the crystal dragon. The two of them very carefully and quietly made their way towards the large crystals.

Tom then struck a nearby crystal in order to signal Thunder to join them. This also caught the attention of the crystal dragons, but Thunder was quiet enough to sneak around and soon joined up with two boys.

"There you are, Pal," said Tom stroking the lightning dragon. "Where's Jun?"

Thunder then gestured for them to follow him.

"Okay, okay, we'll find them together," said Tom.

"Playing cat and mouse with a bunch of dragons," James added as the two crystal dragons appeared.

They slowly and carefully walked away, ensuring the crystal dragons didn't spot them. Then they heard a roar and sound as if he was coming from below them.

"I hope whatever that is, it's not Jun," said Tom.

"The way our luck is going, I bet it is," said James.

They then quickly move towards the roar.

Jun was utterly terrified as the two-headed dragon flew around as crystals began falling from the ceiling.

"Will you stop that!" she yelled at them.

The two-headed dragon then landed on a nearby rock, and Jun could see how majestic they were for the first time.

"You're the most beautiful creature I've ever seen," she said. "But staff almost crushing me!"

"Jun, you down there!" Tom's voice yelled.

She looked up and saw Tom, James and Thunder looking down at her from the hole in the ceiling.

"Tom! James! I'm trapped, and there's a two-headed dragon in here!" she said.

"Two heads, nice," said Tom.

"Two-headed dragon, huh? Why wouldn't there be a two-headed dragon?" said James, not looking at all surprised by this point.

They then felt something hit the ground and assumed it was the two-headed dragon at work. Thunder then grabbed the two of them, reminding them that this was not the time to be mesmerised.

"Right, Pal," said Tom and looked back at Jun. "All right, we'll blast you out."

"No, no, no!" said Jun quickly. "That would collapse the ceiling and crush us both."

"Then how do we help?" Tom asked.

Jun turned to the two-headed dragon still flying around the cave. "I don't think you can. I have to train this dragon."

They then heard the dragon roar, which didn't inspire much confidence.

"It doesn't look like it's in the mood," said Tom.

"Jun, we know nothing about dragons, let alone how to train one of them!" James reminded her.

"Tom did. It can't be that hard!" she said.

"Hey!" Tom protested.

"Besides, I don't have much choice, we can't get out of here without each other, and if it keeps slamming into the ceiling, it's going to kill us both. I didn't just read Tom's chart, I read my own, and I think that this is my destiny."

"I don't know, your destiny looks really angry," said Tom.

"Unfortunately, we've got our own problems," said James as he looked behind him.

Tom looked up and saw that he was right. The crystal dragons were getting closer towards them, judging by the number of firebombs that erupted close by.

"We've got to ditch these guys," said Tom looking down at Jun, and the three of them quickly ran off. "We'll be back."

Jun took a deep breath and turned to the two-headed dragon.

"Okay, my whole life has been leading up to this moment," she said. "Mighty dragon of the crystal pool, I am Jun Wong! I command you to come to me; together, we will escape this prison! Hear me and obey!"

The two-headed dragon then landed, and the blue head unleashed a freezing mist upon the ground she was standing on.

"Uh-oh," said Jun realising this was bad.

The red dragon's head then unleashed then fired some hot steam upon the frozen ground. The quick temperature change caused the rock beneath Jun to shatter, and she found herself being flung backwards.

"Uh, okay, confidence in the command like a wizard usually works in the stories," she said.

She then got back up and attempted to try yet again. "Think, Jun, think. What else do dragons like?" She then looked at her necklace, got an idea, and quickly removed it. "Treasure!"

She then helped the necklace out towards the dragon. "Behold great beast, my priceless treasure." The dragon did look interested in them and flew closer towards her. "Oh yes, here we go. That's it; now, succumb to me and become my servant. I will reward you with—"

The red dragon head then grabbed the necklace.

"Hey, stop that!" she yelled as the two dragon heads wrestled for the necklace.

The blue dragon head won the tug-of-war and then swallowed the necklace whole.

"No!" Jun cried.

The red dragon's head merely burped.

"You're not supposed to eat it!" Jun cried.

The red dragon head moved its head closer towards her, no doubt wondering if she had more. She quickly backed away but was soon met by both dragon heads.

"Uh, why is it any of this work in?" Jun groaned as he ran away with the dragon chasing after her.

Tom and the others, meanwhile, were trying to lose the crystal dragons, who were smashing through everything in their wake.

"We've got to shake these guys," said Tom.

"I'm open to suggestions," said James.

Tom looked at Thunder. "Wait a second, why are we running? You can fly!"

With this new knowledge, Tom and James jumped onto his back, and Thunder took off.

"See you later, suckers!" Tom yelled.

"How about we don't make them any more mad than they are?" James suggested.

"Come on, it's not like they can chase after us," said Tom.

Tom, however, was proven long as the beetle shells opened up to reveal a pair of bug-like wings. They then flapped their wings and began flying up towards the.

"You were saying?" said James.

The crystal dragons then began firing more firebombs at them, forcing Thunded to perform some fancy manoeuvres to avoid getting hit.

"Okay, I've just had about enough of these guys," said Tom and looked at Thunder. "Let's light them up!"

Thunder began charging and then opened his tailfin, allowing him to perform a quick U-turn. He then blasted the crystal dragons, with a few likely blasts knocking both down. The last one looked up at him and growled before spreading its wings and heading towards them. However, Thunder shot straight down at it last with a lightning blast.

"Yeah, eat some lightning!" Tom yelled.

Unfortunately, the crystal dragons quickly recovered and were soon back on their tail.

"Man, these guys are tough," said Tom.

"I hope Jun is faring better than us," said James as the crystal dragons fired at them once more.

Jun was not faring any better; the blue dragon head lifted her up and appeared to be playing a game with its second head.

"Put me down!" Jun demanded as the red dragon head took a permit blue counterpart. The dragon responded by tossing her into the air, and the blue dragon's head caught her upside down. "I am not a chew toy! Stop!"

The blue had finally released her, and she fell back into the pool.

"I am trying to save you!" she snapped. "You need to listen to me!"

The two-headed dragon roared, breathing out cold mist and hot steam, making her hide.

Jun sighed and sat down. "I was so sure that my chart was the same as Tom's. That these dragons were destiny, so why isn't this working?"

While she was busy contemplating, the two-headed dragon made its way towards her.

Jun gave a small chuckle. "You remind me of the mythical stories my Aunt Po used to tell me. I know dragon trainer, am I? You have no reason to listen to me; this isn't my destiny."

The blue dragon's head then moved closer towards her, and she rubbed its snout. The red dragon head looked immensely generous and snapped its blue counterpart.

"Okay, all right, enough of that," said Jun as she rubbed both dragon heads. "You have two heads; I have two hands." Then, she came to the realisation and turned to look at both dragon heads. "You don't want to be commanded by a wizard or tricked with treasure, do you? You want to be respected and revered, just like the dragons in my Aunt Po's stories."

She then looked at the blue dragon's head. "You are the moon. Cool, quiet and thoughtful." She then looked at the red dragon's head. "And you are the sun. Hot, fiery and soulful. Together you create balance. I am Jun Wong, I am humbled by your majesty. I ask for your acceptance and friendship."

She then closed her eyes and extended her hand. The two-headed dragon paused and then two-headed looked at one before the dragon's blue head lowered its head and put its snout in the palm of her hand. Jun opened her eyes and gasped and was soon met by the dragon's red head, and she placed her hand over hand on its snout.

"I should have also remembered my Aunt Po's stories about the Taoist concept of Wu Wei," she said.

The dragon's blue head then lowered its head before inviting her to climb aboard.

"Wu Wei," she said as she climbed on. "Effortless action for maximum effect."

The dragon then tossed her back into the pool, and the two dragon heads chuckled.

"Okay, all right, all right," said Jun smiling. "Wu Wei is something you strive for but never achieve, right?"

The dragon's blue head then picked her out of the water and then tossed onto the red dragon's neck.

"Okay, enough banging our heads against the ceiling. Let's think of another way," said Jun.

Then suddenly, the entire place shook.

"Earthquake!" Jun yelled as more rocks fell from the ceiling. "We've got to think faster."

Tom was still flying around on the back of Thunder with James behind him. The crystal dragons were still chasing after them firing firebombs at them.

"Lose them in the spiky crystals!" said Tom.

Thunder did just that, but the crystal dragons just didn't give up.

"These guys won't give up," said Tom.

"We can't keep dancing around like this; sooner or later going to get lucky," said James.

Tom looked at Thunder. "Thunder, do you have any ideas?"

Thunder looked around, saw a particularly large crystal nearby, and quickly flew towards it.

"This is not what I had in mind!" Tom yelled.

"And this is not how I wanted to die!" James yelled.

Thunder then began charging with electricity.

"What are you doing?" Tom asked. "We're going to—"

Thunder then fired a lightning blast in front of him, and then he and his passengers disappeared. This caught the crystal dragons completely by surprise, and unable to stop in time, they crashed into the crystal. They had the crystal so hard that their horns got wedged into its surface, and they couldn't pull them out again.

"What?!" Tom yelled as Thunder reappeared. "You never told me you could do that. There again, you don't talk."

"He may not be able to talk, but that doesn't mean he's not intelligent," said James.

They then started to fly back to Jun.

Jun was now flying on the two-headed dragon, and they began to attempt to escape from the underground cavern.

"Look out!" Jun yelled as more rocks fell from the ceiling. "We're going to get crushed if we don't get out of here. Wu Wei… minimum effort. Use your ice and heat blasts together just like you did before."

They then flew close towards the hole in the ceiling.

"Hurry! Wu… ice!" Jun yelled at the dragon's blue head.

Wu didn't seem to understand the order, but Jun demonstrated by blowing. Now fully understanding, Wu unleashed his ice blast upon the ceiling covering the rocks and ice.

Jun then turned to the dragon's red head. "Wei… heat!"

Wei then unleashed his heat blasts at the ceiling, causing the rocks to shatter due to the quick temperature. This allowed them to fly out of the cavern and just as Thunder arrived.

"Yeah!" Jun cheered triumphantly.

"Whoa, you did it," said Tom as he flew up to her. "You survived and bonded with the dragon."

"Two dragons… kinda," she said.

"You weren't kidding about the two-headed dragon, were ya," said James as he stepped on the dragon in question.

Wu then spat out Jun's necklace, which she caught.

"Thanks," she said and wrapped it around her neck.

"So what it's… I mean their names," Tom asked.

"Wu and Wei," she said, and Wei then suddenly grabbed her leg and tossed her onto his neck. "It's gonna take a while before they earn those names, but we'll get there. Right guys?"

Wu roared angrily at Wei.

"Stop that," said Jun and then looked back at Tom and James. "What happened to those Gembreaker dragons?"

"Good point, actually; we should get going," said Tom.

"Yeah, I imagine they won't be too thrilled with us," James nodded.

They then began to fly away.

"So, what does Wu and Wei mean?" Tom asked curiously.

"Oh, it's a Chinese thing. I'll enlighten you later," she said.

Thunder then snarled, sensing something close by.

"What is it, Pal?" Tom asked.

The dragons then flew towards a massive pile of crystals that had shattered and covered the ground.

"Whoa," said Jun. "Did the quake not those down?"

"I don't know if it was the quake or whatever made that hole," said Tom, pointing.

They followed his gaze and saw a massive hole in the wall, and it was clearly not naturally made and had been dug out recently. The dragon snarled at the hole, clearly leading like whatever made it.
