These seem to be completely random acts of terror.
So far, the only thing they have in common is this phrase:
"Greetings From Genosha"

On a wall, a car, a letter. We even found it on a birthday card.

They are all small acts, nothing on the scale of Genosha itself.
But some group is making a statement.
Get to work, people! Find them! Before it gets worse.

Her light pictures weren't pretty any more. Bodies, crushed buildings,
things no one wanted to see. But she made them, because she couldn't stop, and others sent them around the world.

"Greetings From Genosha"

It helped, spreading a little of the chaos and destruction that lived in his head, out among the humans. He always returned with something for the others; food, clean water, medical supplies, blankets. He wasn't a great teleporter, like Kurt Wagner, who was his hero, but he could do something. And every little bit helped.

"Greetings From Genosha"

John Peters, human, age 47. Blew up half the hospital where he worked. Left a note saying "Greetings From Genosha".
Crap! A human?
His son was a mutant. They never found his body, but they knew he was there.

karen Rogers, human, age 23. There's footage of her sister getting vaporized. Blew up a reservoir. Took out Boston's water supply.

"Greetings From Genosha"

It was a meme, that grew and spread around the planet.
Riots, car jackings, planes, bombings, and worse.
The MLF tried to claim it, but everyone knew they were lying.

The list kept growing. It included humans and mutants alike.
They never found an organization.
Just people in too much pain.

"Greetings From Genosha"

Magneto's back. He says he doesn't know how he survived.
And that Xman, Rogue, she's back there with him. After her rampage hunting Gyrich and Trask failed.

The mega-Sentinels used some kind of energy beams. It wasn't atomic radiation. The place is actually habitable, in that sense. But the UN and US aren't sending any more aid. They're on their own.

"Greetings From Genosha".

Xavier's back. Do we trust him?
No. But he was the only friendly resource we had.
Magneto EMP'ed the planet. To stop those "prime Sentinels", he says.
Well, he hasn't lied yet. Unlike Xavier.
And he hasn't done anything else.
Maybe it's _not_ the start of the Mutant War.
Did you see the reports on those things?
Yeah. They take over _people_. Plain humans.
Remember he warned everyone about the robots years ago, like in the movies.
Those things are a hell of a lot worse.
Yeah. It's the planet against the Sentinels, or it should be.
We need help.
Talk to them both, if they'll talk. See if they'll help.

"Greetings From Genosha"

"How are you going to bandaid this one over, _Professor_?
He warned us, and warned us, and warned us, and we didn't listen.
It's cost me my wife and my son. I can't do this any more.
I'm leaving. Magneto is right."

"Greetings From Genosha"

"Whatcha gonna do, Jeannie? Go with Scott?"
"No. He can't stand to look at me. I'm her ghost. Odd, since she was my clone."
"I go where you go, Red. Ya know that."
"I do now."
Their second kiss was longer and better.

"Greetings From Genosha"

They tracked the Cat 2 hurricane across the Pacific. It ignored the weather patterns. The newscasters and weathermen all said it was the mutant Storm. She had gotten her powers back, too late. She was heading for Genosha, and she was ... Well, upset was putting it mildly. The storm abated before it hit the island. Perhaps Rogue had gone out and talked her down. A hurricane would do Genosha no good.

Even powered down, Storm was scary. She leaked lightning, and thunder was in her voice. She was what the Sentinels called an Omega mutant.
Now the world knew the term and that there were two: Magneto and her.

She told Magneto and the Xmen "There is no peace in my heart." Her unsettled powers reflected that. They were trying to help, but it was hard. Genosha was a constant reminder, but she refused to leave.

"Greetings From Genosha"

Boy, the final Genoshan press conference was a doozy.
In front of the ruins of the Citadel.
Magneto, Rogue, Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler.
Half the Xmen. The big guns. There with him. Permanently.
And Sebastian Shaw and Emma Frost, in her new diamond form,
from the old UN Interim Council, now the Ruling Council.

Genosha was off limits to everyone except the UN observers.
The curtain went up. Not quite a rogue nation state.
"For security purposes. I'm sure you all understand."

"Greetings From Genosha"

There were comments that the Xmen and Xavier's school looked ridiculous in the wake of the disaster and the split. Who was left?
Wolverine, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, Angel, Morph. Some guy called Cable, MIA for a year. What a pack of losers.

They were careful to not tell anyone about Jean being an Omega mutant.
Or about Phoenix. Or about Morph's ability to become any other mutant on the planet, including her, Storm, or Magneto.

"Greetings From Genosha"

Eventually, Xavier bowed to the inevitable. That Shi'ar footage had killed him. He turned the school over to Jean and left. Back to the Shi'ar, or somewhere on Earth? No one knew. Frankly, no one cared.
Alien-loving liar.
