The grandiose halls of the Palace of Hades Izanami echoed with the whispers of ancient power. Within its shadowed corridors, the enigmatic figure of Hades Izanami, ruler of the underworld, stood with an air of authority that commanded attention. Before her, two figures awaited her command: Relius Clover, the enigmatic scientist, and Hazama, the sly and cunning manipulator.
"Relius, Hazama," Hades Izanami spoke, her voice resonating with a chill that seemed to pierce the very soul. "I have a task for you."
Relius Clover, ever the inquisitive mind, arched an eyebrow. "What is it, my lady?"
"We have received reports of anomalies in a realm known as Remnant," Hades Izanami explained. "I need you to investigate."
Hazama scoffed, his lips curling into a sneer. "Why should we waste our time on such trivial matters?"
"Because," Hades Izanami replied, her gaze unwavering, "there may be something of interest to you, Hazama."
Relius Clover's interest was piqued. "Remnant? What exactly are we looking for?"
Hades Izanami's eyes gleamed with anticipation. "There have been sightings of creatures known as Grimm, as well as a prestigious institution called Beacon Academy."
"Grimm?" Relius mused, a spark of curiosity igniting within him. "Fascinating..."
Hazama rolled his eyes. "And what do you expect to find there, besides mindless beasts and foolish children?"
Relius turned to Hazama, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "Perhaps there's more to these Grimm than meets the eye. And as for Beacon Academy, who knows what secrets it holds?"
Hazama grumbled, clearly unimpressed by Relius' enthusiasm. "Fine, I'll go along with your little expedition. But don't expect me to enjoy it."
With a nod from Hades Izanami, Relius and Hazama prepared to depart. Relius' battle doll, Ignis, hovered behind him, its mechanical form ready for whatever lay ahead.
As they approached the dimensional portal, Relius turned to Hazama with a smirk. "Come now, Hazama. Where's your sense of adventure?"
Hazama scowled but said nothing as they stepped through the portal, leaving the Palace of Hades Izanami behind and venturing into the unknown realm of Remnant.
As the dimensional portal dissipated behind them, Relius and Hazama found themselves standing in the courtyard of Beacon Academy, surrounded by puzzled stares from the students.
Hazama, never one to shy away from sarcasm, remarked dryly, "Well, looks like we've arrived at the right place."
Relius, on the other hand, remained silent, taking in their new surroundings with intrigue. The architecture of Beacon Academy was unlike anything he had seen before, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for what lay ahead.
Annoyed by the constant staring, Hazama couldn't resist throwing out a few unpleasant words at the students, causing some to quickly avert their gaze while others glared back.
Just as the tension began to escalate, they were unexpectedly approached by two figures: Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon Academy, and Glynda, one of the professors.
Ozpin, with his usual calm demeanor, addressed them, "Ah, I see we have two new faces joining us. Are you perhaps the new transfer teachers?"
Hazama was about to retort with some choice words, but before he could, Relius smoothly interjected, "Why yes, indeed we are."
Hazama shot Relius a look of incredulity, but Relius simply smirked in response.
"You can't be f—-" Hazama began, but he was quickly cut off by Ozpin's curiosity about Ignis, who hovered silently beside Relius.
"Ah, and who might this be?" Ozpin inquired, gesturing towards Ignis.
Relius took the opportunity to play along with the misunderstanding. "This is Ignis, my mute assistant," he explained, gesturing towards the battle doll.
Glynda raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical, but Ozpin seemed intrigued by the idea.
"Well, we certainly welcome you both to Beacon Academy," Ozpin said with a smile. "I'm sure you'll find plenty of opportunities for research and exploration here."
Hazama muttered under his breath, still not entirely convinced by the ruse, but he followed Relius' lead as they were led into the depths of Beacon Academy, their true motives shrouded in secrecy for now.
