Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
With this chapter it's jumping over the mission to Ernest's research station, before returning to earth now, and ending up back on the base now. Said now looking exactly like the Enterprise D, in every way, shape or form. And just without the technical problems, as the tunneling between their base and White Rock Research Station. There is a set of jeffries tubes going horizontally that way, rather then vertically.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 65: Missions Begin And Final Farewells I
As the 4 of them talking, as Sam enters, as they prepared for the final decision, if there was another close call attack, and the one causing was being arrested. And for reckless endangerment of the civilians on board the ship. "How'd it go with the mini-sub?" she said and he said it carefully to her then at that question. "It was a little disconcerting out there, actually." he said and she froze. "Oh?" she said and he nodded sternly then to her.
"Weren't you supposed to be watching me from the control room?" he said and she said it. "Eric said he'd take over for me, he sat down right…, in front of the monitors.., and…, Daniel, what happened?" she asked and he said it. "I was in trouble, where the hell were you?" he said, his tone stern and she said it shakily, realizing, again, this was based on another Sha're. "What's going on, Daniel?" she said and he said it, as the 4 of them.
Were sitting there and they were watching at her carefully. "What's going on, well what's going on here, is I considered a case of total mental breakdown. You been here two weeks, and suddenly the isolation, is getting to you, and now. We see it immediately right now, you remember the symptoms of a nervous breakdown. Well all I know is, going out to find 300 year old food in the spacecraft when there's plenty of food."
"Right here in the habitat, isn't exactly normal." he said and she looked at him in shock at that news. 'Oh boy, yeah there it is, she's never going to convince us now, in truth, knowing her desperation.' they heard sternly to that remark, and Jackson nodded, knowing that came from himself, as whoever between them arranged this. They made the point, she was not cut out for being in the space station, or traveling by ship, around the galaxy right now.
"What do you mean, plenty of food? I was just here. There's nothing in th…" she said, and checked and saw food, "Ta-da…, a veritable horn of plenty." Walker said and she turned around slowly. "He must've hidden it." she said, shaking and he scoffed then, as he answered that. "You think I hid all this food, how exactly, there is no chance of that, and not when we can't leave the habitat, and I'm not a Jedi, though I'm a Ancient descent."
"But that's beside the point, abusing the powers are a critical no no, to being lightside users, and frankly, knowing your state of mind. I'm not likely, now, to start screwing with your head any worse then it is already."he said sternly and Daniel crossed his arms, as Stone was looking at her intently then and she paled at that remark. Now realizing the entire team all knew her psychiatric profile and she said it, shaking, to him then quickly at that.
"I don't know what's going on here, but twenty minutes ago I was standing right here and there was no food in the cupboards and no food in the refrigerator." she said and he nodded. "Why, Sam? Why would Eric do that? Why would he set you up?" he said to her carefully then and she started shaking in fear. "I don't know what happened. All I know is this food wasn't here." she said shakily and Walker said it sternly to her at that remark.
"Uh huh, okay there's my version to Goodman's report, as he said here, 'Contact teams meeting an unknown life form. Or U.L.F., must be prepared for severe psychological impact, stress reaction. When confronted by unknown life has not been sufficiently studied and cannot be entirely predicted. In advance, but the most likely consequence, of contact is absolute terror.'." he quoted and she paled, realizing how bad this looked.
"But you promised to watch out for me and you didn't, you went to find food, that we already have, hello red flag here. And while you're looking for food, I'm close to a black out, from another medical emergency. And out of hypoxia, my cord blacked, out, and Teal'C had to come in after me, get me out. It's Goodman's incident with rapid cooling effect with the helium here." Hoffman said and Henderson crossed his arms then.
"Which is why I'm dressed like this, repeated hot drinks, wrapped in blankets, Uncle Dave said, that I'm very lucky, beyond lucky right now. As were it not for Eric's fast thinking, I would be dead right now, out of asphyxiation right now. So again why you leave the camera room, when my anchor blacked out right now?" he asked, and she started shaking violently in fear, realizing Henderson, too, was another psychiatrist then.
"I'm telling you, I was standing here, and this food was not here." she said, shaking in fear "Calling Captain Carter, calling Captain Sam Carter, please return to reality." Jackson said to her and that did it. "Shut up!" she said at him and then said it to Daniel. "Okay, you can see what he's doing to me." she said and he said it. "Can I Sam, after Sha're, the sarcophagus, and Machello, as you were supposed to be watching, Sam."
"You were supposed to be watching, but you were not there at all." he said and broke it down. "It's been what, 9 months, since your father, I been living here, and these guys are my best friends, they never lie to me, I been coming into the habitat. And 9x's out of 10, after Svetlana contacted us, saying she locked onto something. And Maybourne got arrested now?" he asked and she started shaking violently, realizing how bad now.
"No I been doing this off and on, and for 10 months, I been down here 79 times in 10 months, this makes my 80th time. To them, I'm a natural at this, but the one time we bring you on board. But my locker is next to their's, my underwater suit, to them, I'm part of their team, just like I'm Andy's next in command here." he said and she paled, realizing he did it so often the effects didn't get to him, this was her first time and she cracked.
"As Dave would later say, to Brandon, well what I understand here, a thousand feet underwater and with no link to the surface. Said is just about the most dangerous place on the planet, if there's a problem, I need to know, right now, Commander." he said and she started shaking violently, as she saw the stern looks at her, realizing as a flyboy. A gate traveler, she was not well equipped to handle, in being underwater for days on end.
"But we're 145 fathoms down, and currently there is a blizzard going on upstairs, in your department, and it got more dangerous. As, you're the resident schizophrenic on board, one we're all waiting to flip out and crack up. I decided to give you a chance and then told David about your mental history here. Just who the hell are you kidding, when are you going to get over that?!" he asked and she went white and they nodded.
'That's the facts, you promised to watch out for me and you didn't, you think Eric said something. He didn't, you think that the cupboards are empty, when they're full..., clinically, is we would classify that as a psychotic break, alright." he said and she said it quickly then to this. "How about a mini-psychotic break." he said, walking around the table, while Alexander was standing, ready to catch him if necessary then, with his ankle healing.
"That's not fair." she said and he snapped it out. "Sam!" he said and she said it shakily and he read it out then. "What?" she said then and he nodded. "Sam, I'm down there, my cord blacked out here, I can't breathe, I'm hyperventilating, the man saved me!" he said and she said it quickly. "But I..." she started to say and Daniel snapped it off, as he exchanged looks with Walker, who nodded in agreement, as Barnes, Alexander and Parker crossed their arms.
And as he said it sternly then, as he read out his entire annoyance of this. 'Yeah little brother finally had enough of this crap, her holding on to this.' they heard with a stern tone, and knew that was Parker's mental voice thought to this. "Wait a minute, now you want me to believe that the man set me up, why, this isn't 'Alice in Wonderland'. Remember 'just you and me babe'?" he said, as he moved around table as he walked up to her then.
As he went further, having had enough of her insulting his friends, trying to claim everything as his fault, that he wasn't strong enough. And this sabotage attempt, to him, said the very last straw. "The only one strong enough right now here, is me, but think it over Captain, would I throw you to the wolves to keep going, would I lie right to your face. In saying I didn't know where your husband is but I do know, knowing I get caught?"
"And I'm facing being arrested and tried for obstruction of justice." he said and she started shaking in fear, realizing that was it then finally as he went further. "Would I try to throw you up in my place, to free myself from this connection, knowing damn well. When you find out what really happened I'm facing being arrested for attempted murder, that is it unrealistic to think here that at this point, you are a danger."
"To yourself, you are a danger to all of us..., that your misguided anger towards me. For something not my fault, but your own commander, who's still in that psychiatric hospital right now, for something. That I don't know, happened 3 years ago, because his incompetence is so distorted in his head, that your own. Is so distorted in your head, just because I never told you, when that trap was meant for him, not for you."
"When it was that happened 3.5 years ago, after I left to get that back pay off 2 years ago, it's all out of sight, out of mind here, in my instructions here. In watching out for the key sentence, and yet you think I'm just being overly cautious, but the truth is. Unlike you I did college frat parties repeatedly, preventing a date rape, I don't know now how many times, it's been 16 years at the moment, since I got out of college."
"That this is so distorted in your head, like a drug here, you just can't let it go, because I never was there, that why should you. In truth, be there for me, that's what it comes down, revenge, pure and simple, you blame me. I was out there, you almost got me killed, the man tried to save my life, you now want me to disbelieve Eric?!" he said and she said it in frustration, finally admitting it then to him, wishing she listened to him.
And sooner, and yet her own pride just destroyed her life. 'There we go, he latched onto me, since we met and to him, why believe anything she says, after she lied to him. And one too many times, Aramis was never his fault, she should have the common sense. Just to know better, then to be drinking on duty, and the key sentence too.' they heard sternly in Jackson's mental voice to that and Hoffman nodded sternly to that response.
"Yes!, yes I want you to disbelieve Eric, I want you to look at me and believe me here, for one time, Daniel, don't you...? Just look at me, Daniel! Am I telling you the truth?" she said and he said it firmly, knowing everything Daniel and the quintet had gone through together. Nothing would ever be the same again, her or them and Teal'C, it would always be them. "You weren't there, Sam." he said in response firmly and she nodded firmly then.
In knowing she lost him to them, as the quartet crossed their arms. 'Here it comes, the tone that sounds like a threat to us, but she's not a deepsea diver, she has no idea what. In truth, she's doing and this next attempt, out of crazed jealousy, it could be me, Ted or Karen and it's enough to put her behind bars, if she attacks one of us now. Just to break him, if she had gone in there.' they heard then, as they heard a jealous tone then.
"You want to believe Eric, Daniel, then that's fine, because he's done everything but part the sea for you, since we've been down here, but I'm telling you that he is not telling you the truth." she said and Henderson crossed his arms. "You realize that sounds like a threat, you don't care about anything but yourself, to protect yourselves. You try to have me killed, and put the blame on them, and they catch it, before it kills me."
"Now here, this is not about Eric, okay, it never was, this is about you and me, it always was isn't it, you lied to me. And because you followed that bastard, you ignored the rules, that it, you never listen to me anyway. Continue to follow him, all the while treating me like crap, why should I put up with it. That I have a life here now, my place is with the team, Sarah, her parents, this is where I belong now."
"As Frank said, I'm not putting up with your crap forever, just because you can't admit your way is not the only way here now. But I'm not going anywhere, and you just committed a felony here." Daniel said and she looked at him then carefully. "You hate the fact that I'm getting us more then ever, all without stealing, by following their rules. But the cloning machines, the fleet, it's close to being ready now, more naquada now."
"To create it, in your version of the fleet, medicine to keep us strong and healthy, that why should I go back, we're bringing in everything but weapons right now. Technology to make the world a better place, shouldn't you be happy about that exactly. Or is it only your own safety that matters, instead of the safety of the entire planet." He said and she said it slowly, realizing Daniel had changed completely now then.
And into a completely different person at that. "He didn't tell you what's inside The Sphere, did he." she said and turned to Jackson. "You didn't tell him, did you? You didn't tell him what's inside the Sphere, did you?" she said and Walker repeated the remark as he said it sternly then. "And how would you know that, Sam?" he asked her then and Daniel froze and looked at her. "Sam, did you go inside The Sphere?" he asked and ended it then.
"Even if we did, we had the right mind, not to abuse the power, the way the NID did, Carter, as such right now, is this is not about us, it's about you. In fact it's always been about you, claim you're stronger then a civilian, and yet you ignore it. In the most basic guidelines, and get slapped with the penalty, all because. It's you never exercise, in common sense, you know the brass said no drinking on duty right now."
"But you're just not equipped to handle being underwater, or out in space, a spaceship for days on end, you need to be strong, both physically and mentally. He spent the last year training in the rigors of being in both, both physically. And mentally and mastered it, but look at you, 2 weeks, and you crack right now." Parker said sternly to her then and she swallowed hard at that remark, realizing they all mastered the power already.
"Did you go in there or not, as with your frame of mind, you're dangerous to yourself, and to us?!" Walker said and she swallowed hard, as Henderson stepped forward and injected the sternest tone possible. With a patient that was beyond the point of desperation, acting like a beyond violent and dangerous person, in military officers. "You expect me to not take that earlier tone seriously, that attack one of us to break him, so he goes back."
"That what we have here, after that stunt, and the squid attack is the actions of a violent, driven to the brink of desperation, act. What have we got to do right now exactly, manifesting that power, with your frame of mind. Is a bomb waiting to go off, and one that we're getting off this ship, before you kill us. And everyone on board, did you forget already right now young lady, we have 25,000 people on board this ship."
"The habitat is connected to the battle bridge, which is connected to the saucer section, you're dangerous, to yourself and to all of us right now. That enough is enough, you just proved to me your desperation over Aramis is still the full frontal. And of your mind, and enough that anger is a time bomb waiting to go off!" Henderson said sternly, looking at her with a warning look, like he had Jack the year before at the time.
"You get the point, after you lied on Sha're's whereabouts, how can I trust you again, hmm, how, your attitude directly after I realized what made Teal'C sick." he said and she swallowed hard. "But let me tell you what I see here, I see, out of desperation, you're ignoring everything wrong with my emotional state. But let me be honest right now, you never knew this, or you're ignoring it right now, you don't care for my traumas, pretending everything is fine here."
"But taking the easy way out, you were that fast to agree to his decision, threw me to the wolves to keep going?" he asked and she went white. "Do I have to spell it out for you, Captain, after I said that, although she's dead, I just can't relax still. Not when I knows what those two bastards really are, and what they are, are a sick, twisted pervert. Answer this, if she raped me, why did they find several tears to my backside?" he said and she went white at that remark.
"Huh why, Hathor is a woman, to the medical department, those tears say man on man, sexual assault, man on man, and who is the black ops member of this team. Why did he freak out, after dad told us his record, huh, Segei, heroin, and said jail cell. First getting him addicted to heroin to betray what he knew, and then after that never worked. They tried to break him, but their worst nightmare is the interrogator falling in love with them, after seeing them now."
"From the chest up, unclothed, well that's my fear now, and the NID are full of soldiers like this, two known ones are these bastards right now. That's why I have my entire family over here, minus you, and that bastard, we're safe here. And then of course is they target the girls, I'm going to cut them down." he said sternly with a warning look then and she broke out in a sweat, the older man was her protector, but to Daniel, he was rapist, as she was shaking violently.
In never thinking he would ever say that as she shook her head violently. "No it's true, it's true Captain they raped me, the bastard raped me, and then threw me to the mine medic. That's why I nearly shot him, code for 'touch me one more time, I'm going to put a bullet in you.'." he said and she swallowed hard. "Never thought I would say this on the colonel, huh, well after your immediate betrayal, followed by the attempted assassination, I'm done, I'm so done."
"But no, it's not and never will be, as the doctor would later quote to Sarah, that's his Sarah right now." he said and Hammond nodded sternly at that. "Jack has schizophrenia: People with this disorder are often paranoid." he said and she looked at him in shock. "In Jack's world, these behaviours are accepted, encouraged, as such, his illness. In regarding Frank and then Hathor may have gone untreated far longer than is typical." he said and she shook her head then.
"Possibly since having his memory tampered with during Nem, at least that's when his hallucinations seem to have begun." he said, and said it quickly, as she started shaking in fear, now realizing everyone thought this about Jack then. "One, so far, that I am aware of, he's convinced that though dead, Hathor is still alive right now. And Daniel is the traitor here, when Alex, my military counterpart, sent him to get the GDO back." he said and she said it in shock.
"I phoned his new commander, one General George Hammond, according to personnel records now and Daniel's engaged and getting married, while your husband lives alone now." he said and she turned away from him and he went on then. "Now, which is more likely: That your husband, a military soldier with no training whatsoever in resistance to alien drugs. And is a claiming a civilian, who had is the traitor when he is wearing the scar, where he slit his wrist."
"And to the elbow during the gulf is pretending he never did that to his arm, again, or that he's pretending to be sane, when all evidence points to the contrary." he said and she said it carefully. "You're making him sound crazy."she said and he emphasized it. "Or, that he has lost his grip on reality, now the only way the Doctor can help him here. Said is to show him the difference between what is real and what is in his mind." he said and said it then sternly.
"His work is classified." she said and he nodded. "He mentioned a supervisor by the name of General West, maybe General West can clarify things for us. But I can't get to him without clearances." He said and she froze at that remark. "But quite honestly it doesn't matter anymore, I have a chance to start over." he said, as D.J. jumped on the table, and pressed his furry forehead to his, and he closed his eyes, stroking his back fur, and she swallowed hard.
"You never knew I never got over that did you, upon seeing her., well do you remember this." he asked, turning on the ending of the episode, as they moved quietly down the corridors. And looking for a way out. O'Neill yanks open a door, but finds only blank wall behind. "Damned cost cutting." he said to him and she nodded. "This facade is obviously part of a bigger Goa'uld facility, complete with Horus and Serpent Guards." She said to that remark.
"What? Horus and Serpent? That's kind of an odd alliance, isn't it?" he said to that as they entered the room. "I've never seen this place so deserted." he said to this and she nodded. "Guess they figure they don't need to keep up the act if we're unconscious." she said and Jack kicks the gate. "It's fake." he said and Daniel tries the weapons locker, but finds it empty and closes it with a sigh. 'No weapons, defenseless.' they heard to that reveal.
"I don't understand: Who would have spent enough time in the base to be able to reproduce it in this kind of detail?" he said and they exchanged looks and he froze then. "You don't think Apophis…" he started to say and heard a voice that sent chills down his spine."Silence!" they heard at the gate, the air suddenly shimmers and Hathor appears. As she moves towards Daniel. 'Oh god not again, get away from me.' they heard with a growl.
"Oh, I was so hoping never to see you again." Jack said and they heard a disgusted response. 'How do you think I feel you sick bastard, that touch me again, I'm going to get that zat gun and fire at you.' they heard and Sam went pale in shock, as Raully and Trofsky, armed with zats, appear from each of the gate room's exits. Along with a dozen, armed Jaffa, Hathor makes her way down to Daniel and strokes his face, as she said it to him gently
"We have indeed missed you, our beloved." she said and he tried to keep from moving then. "Daniel, don't let her breathe on you." Sam said and they heard another disgusted remark at that. 'That all you can say, you never even bothered to check the bruising down my lower back, all you were thinking about was him.' they heard and she went white in fear, realizing he hated them both, first Hathor, then Shyla and then Machello.
"Do you like our guards? We managed to lure them from the remote outposts of our enemies. We are quietly building our forces before the System Lords even know that we are alive. But doing so is difficult when we have to operate with limited knowledge of the state of the empire." she said and Jack said it as he raised his hand. "Let me take a guess, it's just a wild guess, but that's where we come in, right?" he said to her then.
"We know more than you do." Sam said to that news. "Perhaps. We are prepared to offer you a life of luxury as servants in our royal court, for sharing information. Deny us…and you will not enjoy the alternative." she said and she stepped forward then. "You know…you really should do something about the breath." he said, and they watched Daniel roll his eyes then and Henderson nodded sternly, knowing everything he heard.
Was another piece to putting this man away for life then. "How do we contact the Asgard so that we might align with their forces?" she asked and he said it carefully. "Try Roswell, little place in New Mexico." he said and Siler covered his eyes. "Yeah just send her to a new nest why don't you, make his trauma worse, you little bastard: Maybourne." Haden said and Jack went white in fear then, never thinking of that, in how they would see that remark.
"What is the sequence of numbers necessary to open the barricade protecting your Stargate?" she asked and Daniel looked at her sternly. "If you will not give us the information that we desire, we do have another means of retrieving it." she said and they heard a scared tone. 'Implantation or worse, if said guard is like them, I'm not going to survive another round here, I'd rather be implanted here now in truth.'
'Then suffer another round with sick military officers like these lunatics.' Daniel said with a shaking tone of fear, as she snaps her finger and a Jaffa enters the Gateroom. In moving to stand before her. "An opportunity has presented itself, at a most…fortuitous time." she said as she brings out a fully grown symbiote, as she said it to them. "Our friend here is ready for a host: Tell us, which one of you shall it be?" she said and he said it then.
"Point taken here right now baby, you needed to report what he said to us, but first us, then sending her to Roswell, and she does Maybourne and his forces next. Army of human Jaffa, and they just converted entirely for the pheromone right now, it's the goa'uld version. And of Heroin, whether they want to admit that or not." Hammond said sternly and Jack started shaking violently in fear then, realizing his flippant attitude with her.
That it just cost him severely now. "Damn right it just cost you severely, just what the hell are we supposed to think after we arrested you!" Addison snapped sternly and he started shaking in fear, never thinking of how that remark could be viewed then to the brass. They all knew he was a drug addict, where heroin was concerned, and it didn't matter who it was. In the science department, it would be the same reaction, and he would react the same way every time.
"Next 10 months is a ro-test, he likes it there with us, he's never coming back here, even attempted sabotage via your movie never works." Henderson said and Hoffman nodded, knowing with him playing that side of himself again. That it was when with Michael, he was gentle father bear, but if she came to do a rotation, there, it's acting the stern psychiatrist. She was Sharon Stone's Beth Halperin, to his Norman Goodman, as they had that exchange.
"And that's all I need to know, I maybe playing a different version of my Sphere character, but I'm still me, and here's where snide comments. Now, come back to haunt you in the worst way possible, when the victim of that trauma never got over it. And the duo suffering an Othello complex, is really no complex at all, they're her's forever. It may not work on mind control, but that doesn't matter, it's still in their bloodstream." Hoffman said and the brass nodded sternly.
"That crap is alien heroin, and they been addicted to heroin, ever since the first time they tried it, it's like addiction to crack, same thing." Carson said and Jack swallowed hard in fear. "Do anything she says, for more heroin, she's their supplier, their source, the effects may wear off, but it's an addiction, one that never stops. Daniel resisted it, and they're pissed he did, tried to set him up twice, and we got them." Hammond said to this news.
And Sanderson crossed his arms. "I see why you turned him in for that, that remark after the episode could be seen as turn her sights on the NID next, and after Maybourne attacked you. It's they were going to keep trying till you broke, till our parents took drastic action, and went to separating you forcefully, Danny." they heard and he looked up at the voice. "Hey Derek, good to see you again man I missed you," he said and the older man hugged him tightly in response
"Oh my god, that remark wasn't flippant, it was a suggestion to orders to her, Maybourne!" Haden shouted and Jack went white as a ghost in fear. "Of all the teams to come in after them it was Makepeace!" Hammond said with a growl and he swallowed. "Dad, my biggest fear lays in the effects of the pheromones, hormone driven, but when a soldier. With a history of interrogator like tendencies, sees someone with my body build." Daniel said to him quickly then.
As Makepeace and his team, with Sam and Daniel, take cover at the edge of the clearing. Makepeace scans the clearing through his binoculars. "No sign of my men." he said and she takes them. "Or the enemy." she said, before Makepeace signals for the rescue team to move out. They cautiously cross the open ground, heading towards the Stargate. An SG soldier is suddenly thrown back as he hits an invisible barrier as the barrier, which briefly flares blue.
Is preventing any of the units from approaching the gate. "Cover your flank!" he shouted, as, in response then on the platform, transport rings shoot up out of the ground, revealing Trofsky and a handful of Jaffa. "Open fire!" He shouted, as the duo duck and cover their ears as the SG units open fire, but fail to penetrate the barrier. Trofsky, at the head of his Jaffa, watches and smiles. "What the hell is it?" he shouted over the noise to her and she quickly answered him.
"It's an energy barrier. We won't penetrate it." she said, before they heard it then. "Jaffa, ha'tak." he shouted and they all paled, realizing that was code for shoot to kill then. "Fall back! Fall back!" he shouted at that. 'No, no, no not again, not again, dad get me out of here, not again, Teal'C, dad, help!' they heard in a panicked mental scream and Barnes jerked and Haden nodded, and Sam started shaking in fear then, realizing she never noticed.
Thinking she was safe with Jack and Makepeace, but to Daniel they were his abusers now, and she only made it worse, the year before, by the detox. 'Oh dear god, her he can take, them he can't, easy son, calm down, calm down. It's over it's over, it was months ago, shh, it's okay baby, it's okay.' he and Henderson thought gently to that response, knowing immediately they get captured twice, it was the bedroom again, as Carson gripped his shoulders gently then.
Before D.J. climbed into his arms, and pressed his furry head to his cheek, and simply hold him, like he was a normal house cat then. "Grr!" Denali snapped at her sternly and she swallowed hard, realizing Daniel put everything in away that he and Nala could understand it. And they could considered her and Jack, Janet, as bad as Maybourne and Makepeace now. As they watched the rest of the memory then, before he got ready to slam her with the next one.
Watching as a giant turret shoots up out of the ground, manned by a single Jaffa, cutting off the rescue team's escape. That is followed by a second turret, which targets Makepeace, and he quickly reacts. "Into the tree line!" he shouted and they split up, as as turrets open fire on the retreating SG units. An energy blast from one of the turrets kills an SG soldier and knocks Daniel off his feet. 'Staff blast to the leg, attempted recapture.' Henderson thought sternly to that.
"I think that makes the point here Captain, finally, to him, your commander and Colonel Makepeace are sexual offenders and pedophile, and he suffered such a trauma. That we see this as you couldn't care less, you're too focused on your own life, your own safety. That you don't deserve that promotion, to Lieutenant Commander, but deserve to stay at Lieutenant right now. But have you in the last year since Jolinar ended up in your head, ever spend any time there."
"There in the infirmary after he got shot, not long after Machello, or were you hold up in your lab, because I guarantee here that the team were spotting shifts here. Taking a few hours each, and after he fell asleep with the book on his chest, they decided to wait. Just in case of nightmares, and they, Dr. Pulaski and her assistant all called no night terrors here." Haden said and she started shaking in fear, realizing to them, she was complicit with her own kind then.
And couldn't care less about civilians, only her safety mattered to her now, and to hell with everything else, Jack with her then, they had screwed up so severely here. That Daniel felt he was safer under a commander that would shove them back in that jail cell no questions asked. After a trauma like this, and knowing after Henderson heard that, he was going to kill him then, if he ever touched him again like that, as Landry said it sternly then to het at that response.
"But I'm not going back, so get that through your god damn head, Captain, my entire family is here right now, you decided the hell with me, your safety matters more. Yeah okay then, well then the hell with you guys and Frasier, your life, your happiness, my safety matters more." Daniel snapped and she started shaking in fear, realizing now that the truth was out, they never been more disgusted, and Landry nodded as he continued on at that remark then angrily.
"This is not what I signed up for, Captain, you get that, I joined in to not only get my wife back, I thought I would be aiding the war effort, by my knowledge, not dealing with this crap. You know dad was right, I was better off a consultant, at least then I safe on the base, but no. Not now, I'm not safe on the base, not at my own house and not there in North America. No matter where I go, Maybourne's going to find me, I can't go back, I'm never going back, so forget it."
"I'm staying right here, now get used to it!" he said, his voice shaking in unshed tears, and Sarah pulled him into a hug, and she pressed her forehead to his and Carson nodded. "James, just take that first part and combine it with the hallucinations. Before you admitted me to the hospital." Nash said and he nodded as they did a play back. "This is not what I signed up for: Every time a car backfires or a door slams..." Crowe said shakily then.
"I understand better than you could possibly imagine." Harris said gently as they went into his office and closed the door. "You need to calm down, John, now listen to me: We're closing in on the bomb, in large part due to your work. Now don't you think your fear
is a small price to pay?" he said to him and he said it then. "William, my circumstances have changed: Alicia's pregnant." he said and he froze in shock, as Jack went white in fear.
As Daniel looked at Sarah, and he swallowed hard, as Sarah pulled him into a hug. "I told you attachments were dangerous, you chose to marry the girl, I did nothing. To prevent it, the best way to ensure everybody's safety is for you to continue your work." he said and he said it. "Well, I'll just quit." he said and Carson crossed his arms. "You won't." he said and the military all nodded. "Why would he not?" they all thought together slowly at that.
"Why would I not?" he asked and his tone took on a sinister tone to it then. "Because I keep the Russians from knowing you work for us: You quit working for me, I quit working for you." he said and Sarah nodded sternly. "You may not be pregnant, but…." he said to her, wiping the tears off his face, and she nodded. "But same difference, but enough is enough, we're relocating where they can't reach us now." she said and he nodded shaking.
"That's why you never came back, it's the professor all over again, alright it's okay, we forgive you, but these bastards, need to be put away. As for you and me, we stay here, moving on with our lives right now, we're better off here. General Hammond, Dr. Carson, under the circumstances, with these lunatics going after everyone connected to him. We're all moving it here right now, for safety's sake now." she said and they both nodded sternly to her remark.
"Well there's a way to live in Antarctica now, like living in a normal city, only it's a skyscraper sized city here, but either way, why go back. It's too dangerous, it could be one of two things, our MIA system lord was just woken up and kills someone. After Commander Jackson came back not long after the professor was killed by accident, before I get it next. Or worse, they're staking out our university, and trying to take us hostage." the curator said sternly and Sarah nodded.
"Agreed here right now, we're staying here, the team is back together, if the U.N. want us to find technology that preserve life, look at the most obvious. Cloning is a thing of science fiction, but what if we could find the Marisposans, as we give them a little help. As in exchange for a few cells, to clone right now, we get a cloning machine or two, till Jean Luc finds the Bringloidli." She said and Picard nodded in agreement. "Agreed." he and Landry said together at that.
"And even when left to our devices, we breed like rabbits, issues, rabbits when left alone, they start multiplying and that's literally, we're the same way. Till we find uninhabited planets to put ourselves on and we're now the Earth colony ring." Daniel said and Landry nodded. "But that, the medication, better containment for science experiments, and better crop harvesting. The fleet built to our specifications, the possibilities are endless." he said and Addison nodded then.
"Daniel, I. . . . Um, look, what I said on the planet, I didn't mean those things. I…" they heard Jack voice say to him, and he stepped in. "Didn't you, Jack?" Daniel interrupted, his voice tight. "You sounded pretty sincere to me." he said with a growl. "No. I was angry, on edge. I don't know why, I just was. I'm sorry I said those things, Daniel. I wish I could take them all back, but I can't. I know you think that I don't respect you,
"But I do, I don't want you to leave SG-1, we need you on the team. You're too valuable for us to lose." he said and Daniel finally turned to Jack and what he saw in the archeologist's eyes made his heart sink like a stone. "Valuable?" he said in a dangerously quiet. "Respect? Was it respect you showed me every time you disregarded my input, ignored what I was saying, and told me to be quiet and do what you told me to?"
"All the times you refused to believe me, refused even to consider what I was telling you, was that respect? Was it respect when you dismissed my claim that I'd been to an alternate reality, thinking instead that I was delusional? Were you being respectful when your first reaction to me telling you about the message Sha're sent through the ribbon device was to suggest that I'd imagined the whole thing and let's not forget."
"The Enkarans and the Gadmeer, where was your trust and respect for me then when I told you that I thought there was another way to solve the problem other than blowing the entire Gadmeer civilization to hell?! You wouldn't even give me the chance to try! I had to go behind your back and just about let myself get blown up in the process! And then there's that whole situation on Euronda, when you ignored me.
"In everything I was trying to tell you, not even giving me the common courtesy. And of allowing me to state my concerns, instead, you insulted and belittled me repeatedly, humiliating me. And in front of an entire roomful of people. Is that your idea of respect?!" he snapped at him then as each word cut through him then to that, of Daniel's bitter, angry words. Said were like lashes from a whip on Jack's soul, leaving raw, bleeding wounds.
The last example cut deepest of all, for he was still ashamed by his actions on that occasion as not only did he treat Daniel terribly, he also made a colossal error in judgment. And because he was too stubborn and short-sighted to see past his damned military instincts. And look at the situation from Daniel's point of view as Daniel continued, his voice shaking. With repressed tears then angrily at him, as he looked ready to shove him back forcefully then in anger then.
Now seeing how far gone his anger at him really was, Hathor had finally destroyed him forever, the him he knew was gone, if he ever was that man. Had been effectively destroyed by Hathor in Daniel's eyes, and in his place was the man he'd been before Abydos. But to Daniel he wasn't that man at all now. "And what about Machello's little Goa'uld killers, Jack? You didn't even try to find out if there was some external force causing my hallucinations."
"Instead, you just accepted the belief that I was nuts and let McKenzie lock me up in that padded room, abandoning me there, leaving me alone, and scared, and fighting for my sanity. What that respect, Jack? Was that a display of how valuable I am to you?" he shouted at him then and Jack almost cried out from the pain caused by the archeologist's statement, of all the things he'd done to hurt Daniel, leaving his friend.
And in that mental facility had been the worst. For as long as he lived, he would never forgive himself for not pursuing every possible cause for what was happening to his friend and leaving Daniel alone in that awful place. And what made it even worse was the knowledge that, if their positions had been reversed, Daniel would not have rested until he found out what was causing the illness, he would have instantly believed that something unknown and deadly was the cause.
And he would never have left Jack alone in that place unless he was going off to find the answers, to help his friend. 'Should have seen this coming you little bastard huh, Daniel is sick and tired of your cold hearted remarks here.' Henderson said sternly to that remark as Daniel went further. "How can you stand there and say that I'm valuable to you when you're rarely willing to accept, my advice or recommendations without acting like you're pissed about it."
"It's become abundantly clear to me that my knowledge and skills are of no value to you except for my ability to kill the enemy. When I try to explain something to you, you turn a deaf ear, when I attempt to reason things out. That you have no patience to let me work. You'd rather I be a good, obedient soldier who does nothing but follow orders than a thinking. Feeling human being who only wants to do what's right!" he snapped at him and he tried to say it then quickly.
"Daniel, that's not true! I—" he started to say and he shouted it at him "Shut up! Just shut up!" Daniel screamed, his chest heaving, and he went further in anger at him finally then. "When was the last time you told me that I'd done a good job? When was the last time you really appreciated my abilities as an archeologist and a linguist? And when, Jack, when did you ever tell me that you valued my friendship, that you actually gave a damn about me?"
"Where was that so called friendship every time you hurt me with your words, with your lack of respect." he snapped at him and Jack swallowed, never thinking every thing he was saying, was pushing him closer and closer to the edge. And till he finally threw every resentful, hated remark at him he felt at him at the time. Daniel always forgave him, only now, the forgiveness wad through, what Jack had done destroyed everything he accomplished the previous 20 years now.
"And trust, and faith in me? I died, Jack. I was lying there, dying, and you couldn't even tell me how you felt about me. Instead, you called me a pain in the ass, then oh so grudgingly admitted that maybe, possibly, you might have admired me just a little. Well, thank you so very much, Jack. Those are just the words that a man dying in agony wants to hear!" he screamed at him and Jack staggered back at that as if Daniel had physically struck him, certain that remark,
That if he looked down at his chest, he'd see a knife sticking out of his heart, as Daniel's last hate filled words had cut past every last one of his defenses. And pierced straight into his soul, he felt like the worse kind of slime, Daniel was right. He wasn't a friend, as nobody would hurt a friend like he'd hurt Daniel, as Daniel glared at Jack. And seeing the man's face turn white, anguish filling his eyes, he threw the final remark to say their friendship was over.
"I've had it, Jack. I've had enough. I'm tired of being verbally beaten up, of being ignored, ridiculed, insulted and made to feel like I'm worthless. So, just get the hell out of my office and out of my life!" he growled at him angrily then and Jack felt his heart shatter into a million pieces as he realized that no amount of words. Were going to fix what he had done here the last two years, he had destroyed his friendship with Daniel, overwhelmed by the grief and guilt.
"George we'll talk later, he needs time to cool down." Landry said and he nodded, as they switched off the monitor. "Alright you convinced me here, these people are out of their bloody damn minds right now, like the doctor decided here. And you keep saying, no loud noises, no explosions, no alarms, we keep it as quiet as possible here. I think we can send the alarm status to our tricorders, so complete silence now." Vala said and Landry nodded in agreement then.
"Better play that episode back, before we start on our next move, we can talk in person to your father, before you lose your temper a second time. We just jump traumatizing episodes on the show, starting now, for a while, as the tv show is nothing but traumatizing situations. And you were certainly right, going in there without playback is completely psychotic here. As is being the ones to go in, without securing the area." he said and Daniel nodded, as they played it.
In their version of Sphere back, from the second Sam came to do a rotation then, as this episode was going to press the limit of their mental capacity. Till someone had a nervous breakdown, after, instead of gold sphere crashlanding in the Antarctic. It was bronze one this time, and this one far more powerful, as the entire team passed the test. And without killing each other and she flunked it, as they watched him coming back from the craft then.
Before noticing something was wrong then. "Sam, something's happened to my hose." he said, quickly checking his hose then, as his mask starts whitening. "Sam, I've got bubbles coming out…., Sam!" he said frantically to her, and hearing this then. "Sam, can you tell me what to do. It's fogging me all up here." he said and still no answer, as he was trying to get back. "Sam, there's something wrong here, I've got to get out of here..."
"I've got to get out of…, Sam where the hell are you!" he shouted at her then, before Walker, quickly got on the radio then, to get his attention. "Hey, watch out for that rock. It's me, it's Eric." he said and he said it quickly. "Eric..." he said quickly, and he said it quickly. "Come around the rock... go to the right of the stanchion." he said and they heard it. "My ankle's stuck, I need help Eric, I'm stuck!" he said quickly and Barnes shook his head.
"He's hyperventilating, we need to get to him, now." he said and they nodded. "Hang on we're coming to get you, Daniel." Walker said and Teal'C, Parker and Walker jumped in and grabbed him, and they quickly got him up the ladder. And as Henderson pulled him up, and they removed his helmet then. "Alex, we need a medical team in here right now, close asphyxiation!" Parker shouted into the radio, as they pulled him away from the ledge then.
"Damn it, is she trying to kill him, where is she!" Henderson snapped angrily then to this then. "His ankle got stuck between two rocks, we had to dislodge it to get him free." Walker said and they and Gordon nodded sternly then. "At least it's not a bloody snake, but this was a real emergency, but there it is, the fan was busted right now. He's half frozen, hypothermic shock." the nurse said sternly and they all nodded to the news then.
"That and a rapid cooling effect, his fan shorted out, and he suffered rapid cooling from the helium, that could kill him!" Parker snapped and he and Barnes nodded in shocked fury at that remark. "Possibly didn't short out on purpose, his fan was sabotaged and possibly his cord with it. If you never jumped in when you did, he'd be dead right now, Karen, guys." Gordon said sternly, checking him over, as they turned him on his side then.
"Knowing Captain Carter's mental state as of right now, she's desperate enough to try something as dangerous as this, it's a psychosis, If she can't have him no one can, if he doesn't work the base, he doesn't now. Work the program at all, she's desperate, as without the knowledge he carries. They've no idea which planets belong to Shyla's kingdom and which do not." Teal'C said, removing his helmet and they and Haden nodded.
"Daniel easy buddy, slow your breathing down, you're back on board." Walker said and Parker turned around. "There's why alright, there's a puncture in the god damn hose, someone cut his cord." Redford snapped and they nodded in fury at that. "Just wait till he relaxes, but he's needing what our book selves decided, warmth. And rest, for a few hours, but she finally just snapped right now." Barnes said sternly and he nodded then.
"Crazed jealousy, they refuse to share him, and here's another example, if they can't have him, then no one can." Henderson said sternly and she ran her hand through Daniel's hair gently. "Move Eric, Dave." he said to them, as he sedated him, as he relaxed then, though he was still shivering. "Shh, just rest son." Henderson said and nodded to Gordon then. "He's passed out here, infirmary, now." Gordon said and he nodded, as they moved him there.
"Dave, I saw this on the radio, she was talking to O'neill, and I heard this." he said and turned it on then. "Sir it's been months, since he left right now, I tried again and again to talk to him about this, he's still refusing. To consider going back to the SGC, he's happy here right now." they heard and she paled, realizing in her frame of mind then, she was as much a threat to him as Jack was right now, as they heard Jack's response then gently.
"Then we have to do something, claim after the accident, that being a navy seal is just not for him, he's better off in the Air Force." he said and then heard it then. "I can try right now, but I get caught, we're going to jail for this." she said and he nodded. "I realize that, but without him, it's worse than jail, if we walk onto a planet. And when they're there." he said and Haden crossed his arms sternly as he answered that remark then.
"And you got caught alright you little brats, you're being committed for another 10 months for trying to kill my officer." he said and she started shaking in fear, realizing this meant another trip back under Hancock. As every time she never let go, they kept sending her back to him. "And where's Tom when we need him right now, he just threw these guys to the wolves, and he becomes the movie exactly." Barnes said sternly to the remark.
"Contact George, tell him, we caught them red handed, she was on the radio, just hours prior to his turn for the drop off. And we found his equipment sabotaged, we just wait for her to return." Haden said and he nodded sternly, as he went to do that, as Henderson said it. "Eric, I need some help here, once he comes too, after passing out, and before we got him up here, as he lost two hours here in his memories right now."
"And switching locations here." Henderson said and he nodded. "Good thing you're the fatherly psychiatrist, he bonded to you a little too tightly, choosing out 8 doctors. That he chose you and only you could get him to relax, if not Carson, he has you. Now, right now, Dave, but first O'neill's sexual assault, and now her, who's next." he said and Henderson nodded gently, as they got him out of his clothes, into bed and wrapped up then.
"It just got worse, look at this, Derek." Redford said, untying his boots and removing his left boot and they saw his ankle swollen. and red from the sock up and Gordon nodded in fury. "That's why he collapsed, it's either he sprained it or dislocated it." Walker said sternly as he removed his sock, and saw it black and purple and at angle they knew immediately now. "Dislocated ankle that said rock you told him to watch out for, he got stuck in it."
"Trying to wrench free from it, the weight of the pack ripped his ankle out and dislocated it then, and dislocated his ankle. Alright I'm putting his legs out for 96 hours, and we just keep close to him in the galley. When he confronts her rapid cooling effect, dislocation, then we deal with her, just stick close to him. He's not getting on that ankle, till he's passed the danger zone." he said sternly and they nodded.
"Stick close as this is going to hurt right now, as I get it back into place." he said and they nodded, as he carefully popped the ankle back, into place then. As the pain suddenly became too much and he turned on his side, and Gordon snapped his fingers. And they nodded, and he injected the dose into his leg and she massaged it into his knee and Henderson said it gently. "Easy, easy baby, shh, it's okay, I know it hurts." he said, as after it took hold.
They wrapped his ankle, and got him into a set of thermal p.j.'s. "I think the hallucinations took total control, or better after he said the fears of Shyla's kingdom. It completely destroyed their minds, they're going to anyway possible here. To bring him back now, but not a chance, George and I terminated his records. And with the Air Force then, desperation to protect themselves to the point of murder." Haden said and he nodded.
"Dave, I'm staying with them, he's as close to me, as he is to the guys and Teal'C, so the 4 of us are staying with Daniel till he's ready to return to duty right now. But this was a real weak attempt right now, at trying to sabotage him right now. Being a Naval personnel, we knew what to do after being on board this ship for the past year." Parker said and he nodded, as they, Alexander and Collins were in the infirmary with him then.
"I'm starting to think like the gold one, this bronze one, is a mental test of strength, they're both created by the Ancients, and while our book selves flunked that test. That our team passed it, it could be the Q or it could be the Ancients, I don't know. In truth right now here, but the media jokes on the computer in exchanges. Said are going too far here guys." Walker said and Daniel closed his eyes as he tried to keep from laughing.
"Eric was that really necessary, your sense humor matches his own right now, and with you being his sparring partner later right now, he has you to bond too now." Sarah said amused and he smiled at her. "In which case, it's easing the tension, they did enough of a job, he's better off here, as such, here's the shade of difference between science fiction. And reality ceases to exist, if it matches the book exactly." he told her and he nodded then.
"If it does, we're strong enough to understand the dangers, but just imagine if the NID had that power, just like said weapon, he's creating next year." Haden said and they exchanged looks. "As Lya said, our race in the red and red complacent soldiers haven't learned anything. Since the last encounter right now, but it's defensive to mankind, all mankind. Not just this country, if we start taking on more offworldly program members." Landry said and Daniel nodded smiling then.
"We got two already, who's next anyway right now?" Daniel said and Walker smiled. "With our luck, the person that helped your idea along, but with him, is Johnny's team. And the rest of the TNG cast, but hopefully the movie, that's First Contact never went true. Or we got trouble and the assimilation is the NID, but quite frankly, it couldn't happen. To a nicer group of people, but first Shyla, then this, come on people, just give it up."
"You're never going to beat him here, he's too good, but you're having a stress related reaction, this was his, out of losing his patience with you guys. Now can it before you kill each other, only too late, you're half dead already." he said and Henderson hid a chuckle as he saw Daniel look down as he was shaking in laughter. "Half dead in the earth human genomes, now cool it, before he finishes it, as for you son, I know it here."
"Alright pull yourself together baby, but keep it up wise guy and…" Henderson said smiling to him then and Daniel nodded. 'And he's really going to give me something to laugh about, yeah there's uncle Doctor. He's a more playful version of Carson, but try to keep it together right now, he always knew right now.' he thought softly, knowing the older man was overly protective then, thanks to Jack and Makepeace and as Carson squeezed his shoulder.
"Ente, is there a base pharmacy logged to the family of the patient, on our medical roster?" Pulaski asked and they heard a gentle tone then. "Yes Doctor, once you log in said medicines, to my memory banks, I can send what's needed. And to their family, or spouse, as refills as you see fit now, but only authorized personnel. Are allowed in my inner walls now, so no one gets hurt, deck 7 extension 23, is the same here now."
"As my grand daughter, that trying to get back up there, is harder then getting down." it said and they nodded. "The outer walls are basically the hallways, where we can see outside, in the living quarters, the inner walls are the technicians passageway, crewman passage. That's the only way to get around, unseen without getting arrested by the enemy right now. That we're running a fast practice run of this, before it got worse here right now, but as to that now."
"Is after Wesley barely broke his ankle jumping in there, I'm not surprised the duo were that irritated." she said, as they looked at their recently activated cadets. "Wesley, boys, young lady, you're pre academy cadets, nobody is going in there, and stay away. And from the drop off point, but we hear a clang in there, whoever did it is grounded from training. And for a month here, you understand me." Picard said and they nodded. "Yes Sir." they all said together then.
"Count by 24 hours, to get the right time frame here, but first age, then the time in hours you want it set for." Daniel said and Henderson nodded. "So what's best here in your eyes baby, with you needing to be under medical supervision for a month?" she asked and he nodded then gently. "With the mission on a time delay, anywhere from a month to 6 weeks." he said and she nodded gently. "Well after a month we can release you for light duty." she said and he nodded.
"How long is this going to take exactly, his recovery, because like Alicia, I never hated anyone more then I hate those two and Carter. But with him recovering from this, and I'm not leaving him right now, anymore then she did the Professor. But with time, patience and the love and trust of friends and family, he's going to recover from this now. We just need to make sure, it's a no stress environment as he heals now?" Sarah asked her and Henderson crossed his arms.
"As James said with the Professor, with the right medication, low stress environment, but easing the tension, good diet, plenty of rest. The flashbacks will fade in time, but nobody do anything to trigger it here right now, it's keeping everything toned down." he said and they nodded, as Daniel pulled out the third syringe then, and thought it over, in the age, before nodding, as he set it to 10, and 1,008 hours, and pressed the button and its lights.
Then went green, before he pressed it to his knee to his knee cap and Pulaski nodded, as they heard a hiss as the hypospray released the dose then and she and Henderson nodded. "So 1,008/24=42 days, yeah okay got it, well that helps, time delay for 6 weeks now. And then back to being an adult in strength." Shore said smiling, and Landry smiled at that. "So count by 24, and the full year is 8,760 hours, okay I get it." he said and Daniel nodded smiling gently then
