Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 85: Changes And The Search For Camelot IV
"This is what you're here to protect." Daniel said to Sam and Jack sternly. "It doesn't make any sense." she said and he said it sternly. "You trusted them. They lied to you, they used you, Sam." he said deliberately and she tried to say it then. "If he perfected xenogenesis..." she started to say and he snapped off sternly. "Christ, don't you get it, it's this place, it's hell, it's always was, this shit ends here." he said sternly to that remark then as he picked them up.
"What are you doing?" Jack asked and Daniel said it sternly. "We need to destroy these discs." he said sternly to him. "That's NID property." Jack said and he turned to him. "Well screw NID, we take this back, they'll just take the studies further, Annie, start downloading. Jared, Paul, Lou, burn the room to the ground, we're blowing the base away right now." he said sternly and Jack said it deliberately, realizing they had a perfect weapon now in bio weapon.
"We take the data back." he said and he announced his orders then. "Well sorry, my orders are to save the civilians, get the data, if it breeched containment. Start destroying all traces of the chromosomes, and bring it back to the medical department. Clearly Kieran lost control of the containment, but Harlowe uh uh, he's more careful then your NID scientists." he said and Jack looked at him in shock, as he answered him, realizing he was destroying their research then.
"Colonel, do you not see what's going on here, we could really use this in bio warfare?" he said and he snapped it off then. "I didn't see shit and I ain't paid to see shit, that I have my orders, and so do you." he said and Sam said it. "I don't think everyone is infected, or even capable of being infected." she said and he said it sternly then. "We have orders to contain this threat by any means necessary." he said and Lou suggested it to him.
"So let's evacuate the uninfected..., and blow this place, and Phobos base to hell." he said and Daniel nodded. "And we have orders to destroy this facility." he said and Jack said it quickly, realizing regardless to what they said, the medical squad were sanitizing the entire operation, whether they agreed with it or not. "Found this little chicken shit hiding under a pile of dead bodies." one of his officers said and Daniel crossed his arms then sternly to this then.
"Am I glad to see you guys, but that thing cut right through the door, I tried to use the grenade but it came at me too fast. Followed me through the Ark and started to kill everybody, it was horrible." he said and Sam said it sharply. "There's no wound on his neck. He's clean." She said and Daniel said it sternly. "Daniels's unit, Uncle Dillon's team and I say who's clean..., and who's not." he said to her sternly then and the man said it shaking.
"I mean, it wasn't my fault, he, I'm not a soldier, you shouldn't have left me..." he said and just as he was answering Brandon called out to him. "Commander, there's a storeroom to the south, it's got, like, 20 people holed up inside of it, we gotta do something." he said and Daniel nodded. "Your orders were to clear that sector, of the contaminated, so monsters, zombies, is it cleared, you get them all, baby?" he said and Brandon nodded smiling gently.
"Yeah I got them all, but the 20, I never found any cuts, no cuts, scratches or anything, they're blood is clean, normal human blood, after running, repeated blood tests. They're fine here, they're good, but I told them to stay put, till we come get them, lock the doors. And replicate food and water, till we come get them, so, they're okay, though they're just scared shitless." he said and Daniel nodded in approval. "Nicely done son, you did great." he said and he smiled.
"The infected, however, we kill them all, and let God sort them out, so team our orders are if they're showing darker then average blood, kill them all. All, all monsters, infected humans zombies, shoot them all, we then let god sort them out. Two shots to the head, lock and load team." he said and the 10 locked and loaded then, as Anna bagged the disks and stuffed them in her tac vest then. "This is wrong." An Edina teenager said in shock then and he said it then.
"I think.." he started to say and Daniel interrupted. "Son, you don't think, in situations like this, any contaminated with a retrovirus have to be put down, that's an order." he said and the boy stood frozen. "We're in the field, soldier." Daniel said sternly to them. "Colonel, if nothing's found them..." Sam said shaking, realizing he was destroying 5 years hard work. "You will obey the direct order... of your commanding officer." Daniel said sternly to him then.
"No." the recently activated lieutenant said and Daniel said it sternly. "Now Soldier." he said sternly and the boy insubordinately. "Go to hell." he said and Daniel nodded. "Place him under arrest." he said sternly and the team grabbed him. "Mutinous insurrection is punishable..., by death." he said and the boy went white in fear then. "It was his first mission!" Jack shouted in shock, now seeing he was going to kill a young soldier breaking medical quarantine.
"And it's not gonna be my last, I need soldiers, I don't need anybody else, but soldiers." he snapped at them and then heard the security guard say it. "Drop the weapons, I mean it, I have no intention of being killed by a madman: Drop the weapons. Sorry you two, I choose common sense over megalomania in working on technology. That could kill me in the end here." the scientist/security camera man said sharply, pointing the gun at Jack.
And he started shaking, and carefully tilted his head, as Daniel swung, knocked the guy across the room and fired on the NID officer, and put him down. "Want to press your luck here, drop the weapons, you're outnumbered 10 to 2 and this research. Said is being destroyed whether you agree with it or not, the Brass's orders. I'm working for them, you idiots, this is not worth destroying the system lords, now or is worth killing us."
"That gets into the food, it's going to be anthrax and destroy every single life." The technician said sternly and Landry nodded sternly. "Agreed, mutiny against his own people is better than the alternative, in total truth here, and with that right now." he said and Daniel nodded sternly, as he looked at the guard, who looked like James Marrick. "So now you get a brain right now, yeah alright, we're doing a blood test, but Cam, watch him right now."
"He goes nuts and stays nuts right now, then he's being put down, that's an order, lock and load, and put the weapons down, now." he said and the duo both paled at that remark and they all nodded, as the technician sighed in relief, knowing by his turning on the NID squad. He just saved himself from being executed then by the medical sterilization team. "So you see your science projects like this one could very well destroy us, because you don't know it here now."
"Or worse, they mix the two together, but the serum turned you super human, before you gain your wings now, but Doom and Resident Evil combined now. Retro viruses, trying to create a group of enhanced super soldiers, and you chose a serial killer to test it on. But instead of becoming super human, he becomes a demon, and infects, one by one. Everyone on the base, by becoming zombies, or just monsters, now what?" Daniel said slowly and she swallowed hard.
"Harlowe should know, top geneticist here as you said, they created super viruses such as this, screwing with chromosomes, what if the next game now, off canon. That it does a T-virus, and it infects the outpost, and now, the people that see it, have to stop it. But you never saw shit, you ain't paid to see shit you had your orders, to secure the facility. And bring the data back, so basically, I have to kill you, before you wipe out earth, you idiot," he snapped at her sternly.
And she started shaking violently in fear, realizing them acting all ignorant of the danger, they were a threat and he would put them down if necessary. "That's how you see us, we're the ignorant marine leader, not seeing what a bombshell that virus is, if we bring it back. It'll destroy earth and you have to stop us, before that happens?!" Jack said in fear, never thinking his attitude, Makepeace's, would result in them on opposite sides of the line.
"Yeah that's right you asshole, you are Weems, or the team leader Rock is, having seen what the chromosomes do to a man like a serial killer. But now I have to destroy the records, because they continue these studies, it could wipe out all mankind, and you. Being the ignorant assholes that you are, claim you never saw shit, and you ain't paid to see shit. You had your orders to bring it back, that's what you're going to do, well you just sentenced yourselves to death."
"After killing a team mate, my baby brother, it could be a just recently activated cadet, as the youngest of the team, you murdered a child, a baby on his first god damn mission. For going against orders, your orders, we lose the next after the demons, genetically created demons. Said murdered my best friend, leaving you and me and Annie ends up in the middle between us, here, if Lou is the last one standing, or Jared is and Brandon is the youngest of the team."
"And on his first god damn mission as it turns you, into a god damn monster, me into an angel and I kill you and destroy the bases." he snarled at him sternly. "Whoa, there it is, by drinking the serum, you're now Doomguy, and these little shits are the asshole Lieutenant Weems. Or Rock as they chose him to play the ignorant team leader, I'm holding the spot of your sister. And the guys are the trio and Brandon, the youngest of the god damn team as he went section 8."
"Just put the god damn weapon down, right now, because after sticking around this god damn long, you murder innocent civilians, ones not even infected. By the god damn retrovirus, you had a total section 8 and are being dragged up for a courts martial. And captain's mast when the brass hear this, from him and me." Anna said sternly and they all started shaking in fear. "I think you took the game too seriously, but that's the best synopsis I ever heard of here, guys."
"If they keep screwing with bio genetics." Harlowe said sternly and Matheson, Carson and Landry nodded in agreement. "Agreed, but she and my baby boy are both second to third generation archeologists, they're biogenetics, and forensics archeology. As is David, now and this why Lou and Jared, chose sides without thinking twice about, though if. In truth, Charlie was still alive, he'd side with Danny in a heartbeat." Dr. Matheson said sternly and Jack paled.
As Brandon looked down, now seeing Daniel, as 16 years older, saw him as baby brother, he was still a teenager of going on 20, and to him, it was his job to protect him. He loved him like a kid brother that the older man murdering him for only following medical orders. He was avenging him, if he had anything to say about it. "Yeah buddy, I love you like a kid brother, my job to protect you guys, this was your first mission." he said softly then and he nodded gently to him.
As he ran his hand through the hair at the back of his head, and he gave him a hug, and he tightened his arms around him in response, and Landry smiled in affection. "You get the point here, you little bastard, murder a child now, and for only following medical orders. And we see this as you had a total breakdown, and need to be put down, if you get infected with it. And because we're not allowing that to continue and destroying it." Adam said sternly to him then.
As Jack swallowed hard, now seeing this finally, in his eyes for what it was now at last, them screwing around with biogenetics was going to kill them and destroy earth. And Daniel was the archeologist turned soldier meant to prevent this, he was the person. Now, that was portraying the Doomguy now, and he himself, was the asshole Lieutenant or Sergeant. That got infected with the virus or whatever, and his refusal to break orders, said he was threat to earth now.
And Daniel had to neutralize that threat, and by any means necessary, in the eyes of the medical department. "That's not delusions of grandeur, or megalomania, but fact, look at yourselves, there are a lot of things, we do, we wish we could change. And sure as hell can't forget, but the whole concept to chain of command, underminds the idea. Of free will, so as soldiers, we have to do some very awful stuff, or following orders as we were trained to."
"It doesn't make it easier and certainly doesn't make it right, but it does put half the blame on the guy giving the orders." he said, quoting him word for word, and he started shaking violently in fear then. "Well there is a single chance, going against direct orders saves the planet, such as when we went to stop the orbital attack, only now here. In order to prevent a real hell on earth, I have to go against you, but seeing as you assholes already stabbed me in the back."
"By false testimonies, I see no reason not to kill you myself, if you're not thinking outside your programming, as a soldier. My heart and soul are clear here, I never murdered a child, a baby with his whole life to live, nor did I murder innocent people. Charlie, Jared and Lou certainly never did, nor did Paul Reynolds and Frank, or just Andy Dixon. The 8 of us were calm clarity, we're angels, you, by doing this, murdering a child, a baby, just starting his career now here."
"And non infected people, just sentenced yourselves to death, because this was not our orders by the brass. We don't have orders to kill innocent people, and you did just that, that you went against direct orders. Then killed a team mate, you just suffered a total breakdown, and need to be put down." he said and he swallowed hard. "Nicely done baby, if he doesn't return to earth for court martial, he's being ordered for execution, if he kills a team mate for following orders."
"That which are ordained by us, you never did anything wrong by going against his own direct orders, ordained by someone in intelligence. Before leaving on this mission, if there is a mission, we told you our own, and you told your unit and her. Because once you bring the data back, we're destroying it, so these little assholes never turn it into a bio weapon." Addison said sternly then and they started shaking violently in fear, realizing they all saw it that way now finally.
"Well that unit, lead by me, is me, Lou, Jared, Brandon, Charlie, Paul Reynolds, and Cam and Johnny Sheppard, and Annie is waiting to hear from me. On direct orders, while he, leading whoever was killed on mission, during this scenario. Are the ones that get turned into monsters now, that I'm not surprised now, that the sick pervert of his team. Was the first to go off the deep end, as we all paired off, though the 8 of us are one side, the sextet on the other."
"And one by one, his side starts dropping like flies, us, we're still in one piece, as Anna pieces together, what the hell caused this, after we check the god damn tape decks." he said sternly, sounding like a total professional then and Jack swallowed hard then. "But that gives me an idea, we use this as one of the training scenarios, if his followers in cadets. Kill a team mate, they're being neutralized and they flunk the test." he said and the entire brass nodded sternly.
"So said movie for real baby, you being the young Corporeal, and cub, just came off his training shift, as just as you're all going on sabbatical, for 2 weeks, the leave is cancelled. And your sister is waiting to hear from you, as once with her, you're not a Seal, but archeologist again." Matheson said and he nodded. "As Ford said, we done all we can as doctors, now time to return, as soldiers, I'm back now here." he said sternly to this and they started shaking in fear then.
"But my baby brother, for only following medical orders, now you pissed me off, mutiny is punishable by death, I had my own orders, and those orders are. If this data is too dangerous to bring back, it's being destroyed, and destroy the bases, both of them after killing all infected. And checking the others, on both bases, it's not to kill innocent people, anyone going against orders, is being put down, treason, is punishable, by death." he said and Jack's eyes widened.
And in fear then. "Very good, you show the career attitude of a medical soldier now, anyone that went crazy on this mission and stays crazy. Said is now a liability and has to be put down, when you had direct orders to retrieve it, save the civilians. That check them for the retrovirus and bring them back, anyone not infected, are saved. The fact these little shits, had their own orders, and to them this was another perfect bioweapon, had a total breakdown now here."
"But if they go crazy during this and shoot a team mate, and stay crazy, they're being put down." Addison declared and Jack went white. "So to you my job is a hindrance, compared to your's, well maybe if you exercised a little more caution here. You would not be half Earthling now, so basically your ignorance results in killing you halfway here." he said and she gulped. "And this was definitely in the report, or don't you remember here right now, Captain, hmm."
"I said this on the planet, before we went there at the time, as I examined the MALP, evidence, seeing Philippe as he was next to her, Philonius and Aramis with him. Yes okay, they're taking delivery drop off at the gate, that must be the ruler's daughter, her leader. Of her guards and her family priest, they're a Catholic planet, French Catholic, he's a jesuit as well. So I'd say 17th century France right now." he said, carefully reading out his observations, and they both paled.
"If anything is that valuable inside that box, they must be doing monthly deliveries, to prevent a system lord attack right now, to protect themselves here now. As the planet we're going to now, has the power to manipulate your love interests and they're a. Although simple people, they're highly medically advanced, I can tell, if they lived this long. As they created some highly powerful drugs, and eat right now, so this says it all, children are safely outside the mines."
"As this is saying they love children, on this planet, so if there are more now, they clearly see baby in an adult body, as quite adorable', before. 'Well they clearly like me here, they see me as something important to the princess, okay they speak French here. Jean Claude, Alexander, 16 to 17th century France now, yeah, okay here, he's clearly now. "Only now I get the last laugh here." he said and they swallowed hard, while Sam and Jack started shaking, while realizing. Now, they never paid attention to the breakdown and information, before and after they got arrested. The way Shyla held his hand then, the smile he exchanged with Pyrus, and they all went white in fear at that. Realizing he knew where they were, and after deliberately putting himself in harms way, the guard did the rest of it now.
And she started shaking violently in fear, realizing she never paid attention now. "Never paid attention to the debriefing mission here, or his status report, before he went. Now to meet her at the time right now young lady, huh, that it right now. Well why doesn't that surprise us, like these little brats, you're another Tony." Landry said sternly and she swallowed hard at that, realizing her own arrogance slammed her and with the worst then death penalty, putting her.
In this position and in this hospital, because she was as ignorant of his skills, as Jack was right now at the time. "Dillon and Adam, they were looking to create an antiserum from his blood work, seeing if we can synthesize a class A antibody. Henceforth the research on the sarcophagus, seeing only what you want to see, and wanted you to see. Being you know where you are, and are as ignorant as the little bastards you listen to here."
"Is Pyrus is a tyrant, the technology destroyed him, and Daniel is clearly addicted to it, so you had a reason to kick him off the team, confine him to the base. But the plan backfired, because Daniel set you up, he knew if you been targeted by them. You did something you deserved here right now, and you did, after not telling us. That Sha're is on Abydos, has been ever since the orbital attack right now, at the time here now."
"And as Daniel broke down his mission status report for me, and before you went there, Captain, telling me here, in secret, he knew who they were. After revealing he been there the entire time, before and after you came back. And from Calais and Montpellier, he already been to see Pyrus now." Hammond said and she started shaking, then and in fear, realizing that was her only chance to save herself, get him off the team now.
"Like you said kiddo, it's not their job, or your's, to alert them it's tanked, they should be paying attention, and check it first, so not your fault here. You did warn them about their attitudes, and they pay the price for their long lack of vision." Jackson said sternly and she swallowed hard in fear then. "Is there such a reason, they would be looking for you exactly?" the Baron asked him and he nodded. "My door opener, it's the primary." he said and he nodded.
"So I assume you came blue, it's to signify your original command, you are scholar ran with military help, your military commander, as an Admiral is being chosen for you. But for now, you're being run by the mental/medical departments for now." the Grand Duke said and he nodded. "My boss in the civilian side, she's retired, I'm now in charge, but lately I been gathering followers, starting with my sister." he said and he nodded.
"Nice wording, I was the first to follow you, and we started, like a conga line, picking up followers here, growing in size till we reached 74,880 here." Anna said and Landry started laughing and Catherine nodded with an amused smile. "This is what happens when the scientist side grows this strong after 2 years, the hotshots are outnumbered. And by 1,000 to 1 now, we have a happier life this way, then the other way." Catherine said smiling and Haden nodded.
"So first they assault you, and then claim you are traitor, and passing this device to the red headed bimbo that is Hathor. Can I assume that suggesting you be the one to get the reason you left, was a chance to have you removed. And you turned this around, and used it as a way to get a technology payoff, to fix the bust. These red soldiers wanted from these people, they just passed through my planet last week."
"Alerting us that you're a good man, and these men are primitives, for attempting to hold them and the woman at gunpoint." she said and Jack went white in shock, realizing she meant the Tollans, and everything they wanted was destroyed here now. "Yes your grace, that's them alright, he and the woman, her name is Lya of the Nox. See I actually learned something from them, but time and patience, after walking into you now."
"Resulted in a devious way to get them back, they never knew, she and her people, him, and my benefactors, you call them angels could be two of the races against them. The bad gods right now." he said and the doctor smiled and Landry chuckled at that response. "Indeed this woman and the angels are, the third is a alien race focused on our Scandinavian counterparts." he said gently and Daniel nodded in amazement to this.
"We're actually the chosen human grouping the angels created, to neutralize the bad gods now, only now in creating a severe lesson in humility. We become the chosen hotspot for red soldiers such as these, though quite frankly here. They may claim themselves to be good people, by persecuting, but their actions say other otherwise. To everyone, but them in this network, they are dangerous and unpredictable."
"But when they start targeting a good man for wanting to move on with your life, this is where we have to destroy their minds out of fear. And till everyone sees them as needing to be locked up in a sanitarium for life." Pyrus said and Jack started shaking in fear. "That's how the brass, that's benevolent admirals like yourself, see them as crazy, dangerous out of control and have to be locked up, but if the effects now."
"Are permanent, then like the scar on his wrist, your powers medically are the symbol of his psychosis, and they have him under scrutiny for life." he said to him then and he nodded. "I see, well aside from Cologne, every country ring is like us, 17th century, ranging from drugs, to enhanced harvesting techniques now. Italy contains technology necessary to create better prison cells and sanitarium ones now."
"But my recommendation is you never going to Cologne now." he said and Daniel leaned forward. "Why exactly?" he asked and she crossed her arms. "Their marquis, is like the duo that just did you, but his tastes are for what you call cadets. And a little younger, if you have anything like this on your planet, he invites his targets over. For banquet, drugs them heavily, and erases what you call a fortnite in their memory now."
"Every night the same thing." she said and he nodded. "Let me guess, you're going to war against Germany, to take out this Marquis?" he asked and they nodded. "If you help us, we can double to triple the amount, in drugs, enough to cover your entire planet. The changing elixir is that key actually though Danny, but we just switch the elixirs, and you proved their sickness over this wench never ended right now, as you now."
"You got to us first, and you're doing us 8 first, but my lady in waiting is looking for her forever right now, as am I, but I like men 60 to 120 moons younger." she said and Makepeace started shaking in fear, realizing that was why she marked him then. "Moons, you count time by moons here, then I am 390 moons old." he said and they nodded. "But your targets are on mission for sum weeks at a time, just run the clock out here."
"Till they ran out of time, as their door openers close at the last 10 minutes, but they're drug addicts." he said and she smiled. "Our elixir, both versions, matches brandy, my boy, but everything in drugs we create, contains the power. And of the sarcophagus technology, so anything using the technology, in healing now. It takes the sarcophagus to undo it, and the answer it, in the unasked question here."
"I spoke to the resistance themselves, over use of over 50, in a broken one, and 100 in a working one, starts doing damage, spiritually and mentally. But up to the sum level you took in, are about to, it just makes you more honest. And makes you speak your mind, no matter how much it hurts, so if she throws my daughter in your face. Just tell her the truth, you know Aramis chose her now." Pyrus said sternly and he smiled sternly.
"So there is no reversal, it takes 27 to 30 to undo it, one after another, but if the first thing that comes out is the sarcophagus. It's now a doubled edged sword, the sarcophagus is the only cure, but now they're trapped. And my father made the vital rule of no drinking on duty, but honestly do they ever listen?" he said and the doctor chuckled and Jack started shaking violently in fear, realizing he never did at the time then.
"Then we make sure not to mark your friend, if your counterpart and your friend, the Jaffa are loyal only to you, but if we find something beyond cruel. As she deserves this, as we get her too, along with the trio, for this illness now. And when you're exhausted and run yourself into a wall, in physical therapy. As I just send your father a message, you are on bedrest, as you give your muscles a rest." Pyrus said to him then.
"Yes Sire, but there it is, in your eyes I'm a teenager, but I got to you first and you are a very kind monarch." he said and he smiled in affection then. "We are improvising this till we, or you, decide enough undercover." Shyla said and he nodded. "Alright so that's your father, you, your Graces, my Lord, my Lord Baron, Counts. So 8 of 24, if it was anyone but you now, their idea may just work, if they choose you, I got to you first now."
"I'm spending weeks getting to know you, I see you as not dangerous at all, but very kind and welcoming, but they're trained to see everything they don't understand.
