Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle

Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

With this chapter, it's taking a leaf out of the movie version of Sphere, before they all got paranoid enough to start turning on each other. With 1/10th the ship's 900ft deep below the waterline, it's the events during Hoffman's case. That come to the fore, Daniel taking Goodman's position, her taking Halperin's position. And Samuel L. Jackson's character double, and Liev Schrieber's save his life, during his drop off.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration here. Also with this chapter Daniel is telling the public, the SGA has reactivated now, and with it.

That he's working trade to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. Chapter 40: Media Truths And The Trial III

"As this got the attention of the entire country, from one side to another, after they chose duty to their friends." he said, pulling it out and read it then. "After another detailed report from Commander, yes you heard me right, Commander Daniel Jackson, it seems. That Hathor left a permanent side effect, anyone dosed with the pheromones if their male. And are a soldier, and of Jack O'neill's caliber is placed under watch as of today now."

"The reason why now, if they see young man that filled out, like the young male cast of the Power Pangers, their hormones go absolutely crazy now. And attempted murder also by malpractice, and there is no over turning it. And that's the military side, but what of us, the civilian side are we as safe as we're lead to believe. "Man she really outdid herself this time, nice work Julia, well here we go, I hope that Q gave a perfect face time link up, so they can see me from here now." Daniel said smiling and Landry nodded in agreement….

Washington D.C. Supreme Court:

At the Washing Supreme Court building, everyone, both sides that now knew the truth that the show was just the head. Had appeared and Jack swallowed hard, knowing he was about to be tried and quartered for this. "All rise for his honor: Judge Darren Addams." the bailiff called out and they swallowed hard. "Who is this guy?" Makepeace asked and Sam swallowed hard. "He's preceded over more sexual misconduct cases then any judge from our parents age group."

"But your team mate, there's no getting out of this, after your record had you getting arrested for causing the deaths 120 people. It's enough there is no getting out of this, in your cases right now, Daniel wants nothing to do with us now. He hasn't made contact, since he left, and it's 16 days, since they left now." she said and Jack swallowed hard as he looked at Hammond, Ferretti and Sanderson, who were sitting there in the witness stands then and they all paled then.

"What you consider an eccentric family life, in the victim's case, with the actors playing the victim's family now, is really how a normal person lives. What's the problem, if it doesn't have guns and violence, it's not normal, that it Colonel?" the civilian psychiatrist, pursuing the subject at the case, said sternly. "Yes Dr. Banks I agree with you entirely right now, seems to me, the people playing the victim's family made their case, he's normal you're not young man, in truth."

"And it seems to us, what you consider flaky, and losing his mind, when he has reasons for everything to cover what you see as a psychotic break. But one wrong move, one false step and an entire gentle civilization is wiped out?" he said slowly and Jack started shaking in fear, now realizing everyone knew his thinking then, and they never been so disgusted. "You're killing an entire race of people, that how can he not care exactly?!" he snapped and he swallowed hard.

"Now that we know the show is real, that makes me wonder right now, after the last report came in, after he told Ms. Julia Donovan about this now." he said and they all paled then. "But why believe whatever you try to tell me, when his words give the pretense here. I don't have to hear him telling me his trauma, because the memory is too painful to think about. So I have this right now." he said sternly, and pulled out a two page journalist column out and read the report.

"Would you like to hear it, because this makes for an enlightening read." he said and they all paled, realizing Donovan, with Daniel's help, destroyed them. "After another detailed report from Commander, yes you heard me right, Commander Daniel Jackson, it seems. That Hathor left a permanent side effect, anyone dosed with the pheromones if their male. And are a soldier, and of Jack O'neill's caliber is placed under watch as of today now."

And they all paled. "Seeing as he doesn't want to talk further about this, or he doesn't want to see you, I don't see any reason. To call him here, knowing you would only pull a Silberman on him and anyone he's connected to. So get that out of your head here gentlemen, young lady, now so as such here right now. I'm leaving the key witnesses to handle it, and then judge this by said episodes on your show now, starting with Hathor." he said and they all paled further.

"Jackson's seeming like a very kind charismatic young man, and one that shows the true affinity of leader, who sees violence is only, only used as a last resort here. Now where does he get that from, with today's laws now in our country, that it seems to me. You go around trying to break laws, when his civil services record is so high, he can have you tried. And convicted, so you're that type of soldier now, you see your way as the only way here, despite direct orders now."

"That what it is, you see anyone here, and I mean anyone now going non violent as dangerous, if the person working with you doesn't decide violence they're crazy, is how a person going towards a non violent approach acts. That's not eccentric, or dangerous, he's not a soldier, but a doctor, one looking for a way to solve it. And without keeping a god damn gun in the house, knowing damn well, it could result in a child getting shot and because the accused here."

"Now, never practiced responsible gun protocol, if they're a soldier." the judge said and Jack went white. "I am just stating for the record, that I refuse to listen to the same psychosis rant, of everything is to be blamed on the subject of this trial. The psychotic ranting of why can he resist the queen pheromone, and the accused can't or further remarks. That's not the subject here, the subject and focus is are our male children, in their mid to late teens are truly safe."

"Or do we have to lock up any like the accused there in the military here starting now, that's it." he asked and Jack swallowed hard then. "Prosecution, you call it out, who do you want to start with here!" he asked and he nodded. "I like to call General Hammond to the stand please." he said and he nodded and took the seat. "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help you god?" he asked and Hammond nodded, as he answered him.

"I do." he said and he got started. "How well would you say you knew Jack O'neill the last 2.5 years exactly?" he asked and he explained. "That's 80% of his record was closed to me, prior to his coming under my command, but entire under me, I know everything. And frankly, his attitude wore my patience to the limit, but attacking my boy, he pissed me off right now." he said and they nodded. "What's Jackson's relationship to you?" he asked and he explained it.

"Before Ballard's interference, the year we met, he created his place in my heart, I took it upon myself to help him heal, your predecessor your honor, nearly signed the adoption papers. And he would have become my son, Ballard made sure that never happened, but I never. In truth expected the boy I nearly adopted. And to grow up to become 32 year old archeologist under my command." he said and he nodded. "Is there a record to this?" he asked and he nodded.

"Yeah, here you go, we decided on our own after the Tollan situation, we adopted each other fully, my daughter Katie sees him as a brother, my grand daughter's, he's Uncle Daniel. It wouldn't matter who between us it was, he would still grow up to be this now. A kind, courageous and charismatic young man, but that's exactly the problem here. His idealism is a giant thorn in the eyes of the command, who are like these gentlemen now, or just Carter."

"And it's because he grew up on values, the medical department, the academic community and I influenced and encouraged. What's considered an eccentric family gang, is really all non violence and to these hotshots. That if it doesn't involve a violent outcome, it's wrong, and he's a traitor right now, he's crazy, dangerous. Out of control and a loose cannon, in their eyes, as he doesn't use an option, that doesn't include violence." he said and they started shaking in fear.

"Uh huh, so you would say it's entirely the reverse, everything they see Jackson as, it's them entirely here?" he said and Hammond nodded. "Yes your honor, that's it exactly, he's already scored us hits right now, that are worth nonillions. Before the punchline struck the table, as we had two already, of why can he resist a queen's pheromones and they can't. Why can he resist the artificial charms, of the 17th century of France and they can't, and finally here now."

"If you mean what caused these two snap, that year is, and you can see it from my point of view, the ending, because the entirety is being shown to Dr. Carson." he said and they nodded sternly. "Then show us your record of this." he said and he nodded, as he put it on. "Be ready, this covers the aftermath to what happened on the episode, but he walked right into it. Said a vocal trap, but first he attacked him sexually and then for real." he said and the judge nodded.

"Well there's no use fighting either of us after he broke a window and attacked him twice, in my eyes, he's dangerous when he loses his temper. Nothing changes in my eyes no matter what he says to me, or they do now. Dan is clean: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, and, of the duo. I got an easier time with him, as he never raises his voice to me, go ahead and drag him in."

"Mckenzie, if you want, to try and change the reports regarding this, he too is about to suffer a psychosis regarding Daniel now. We saw the scars, General Hammond and I are only taking the psyche reports on Daniel. And from General Carson, as of now, but that just crossed the line buster. I don't give a damn at you're trying to convince me otherwise!" Janet snapped at the duo sternly at that.

"Indeed that's my opinion as well, nothing you tell me, regarding Daniel is ever going to change things. The way I see this is that with you suffering the come down on this pheromone, it's the reason you want to clean up the mission. Is not because you want to get the GDO back, but because you want to return. And to her, but did you forget something Colonel O'neill, as the resident Jaffa here."

"That make me an expert on Jaffa, but no immune system, your system crashed and combined with the pheromone. You're close to having your immune system fail on you, after you just got it back. 2) is the fact that effects of the technology suffer certain narcotic like side effects. And 3) as her pheromone is carrying narcotic like effects, like the drug on Harrison Ford's movie, part 2."

"All of this together is the reason you wish to return to her service, and you're both drenched in sweat. So I see this as you want another dose, just to take the pain down several meters, you're drenched in sweat, both of you are. Your immune system has crashed Colonel O'neill and you're suffering the side effects, and of the technology, you're not well." Teal'C said to them firmly at that.

"That's not true, this was our mess, we got to clean it up!" Jack snapped at him and Teal'C said it sternly. "You want to show us: Drs. Frasier, Warner, Generals Carson, Hammond, Captain Carter, and I. You are thinking straight, you must get that temper under control. Because lashing out like this is not helping your case now gentlemen, this behavior is not rational, but irrational right now."

"Also you kill me and you kill yourself, as the resident Jaffa on the base, do you understand this, O'neill. But to co-exist with your symbiote, you must train by a real Jaffa, learn to meditate in a healing trance. And you do not and you get ill, Drugs and illnesses have no effect on me, because my symbiote protects me. To understand this you need to properly train." he said sternly to them and they paled.

"Glass half full syndrome in that area, not only are they obsessed with Danny being the turncoat, on us and don't want to admit now. That they're not strong enough mentally and emotionally in front of us. But they kill our Jaffa expert and they kill themselves. And Teal'C has proven what side he is on, she didn't and they haven't, not yet." Carson said crossing his arms and Teal'C nodded firmly.

"Daniel proved he was beyond loyal to us, as was Teal'C, no scientist could decide to keep up the charade of double agent like this, ever. But when he talks about us, his tone turns loyal, like a son to his father, George. That's true loyalty, he'd do anything to give us an edge to help us to fight them. And the joint chiefs just like us, as well as Peter, Darrel and Dillon, true bonds."

"Daniel's the one, the only one, using every piece of knowledge in the arsenal to help us understand the latest ones we came into contact with now. He came up with a way that brings him and the girls and trio back safely. I'd call this high moral fiber in doing the right thing right now, despite trauma. It's he's doing his job right now." he added and Janet nodded to him in agreement to his thoughts.

And Hammond crossed his arms at that. "Lovely timing for that truth to come out now, and thank you for telling us that. But as General Carson said, you barely killed yourselves here right now, but by killing Teal'C. Then you kill yourselves, because without him, you have no clue how to do this. But removal of your immune system you're sick and your body is in detox right now, Colonel."

"You're right Teal'C, I didn't get a good look at them earlier, but he's soaked in sweat. And we just saved him from dying, because she removed his immune system earlier. So just got his immune system back, the come down from narcotics and the pheromone. And he just used the damn thing before she destroyed it, but the technology and natural stimulates don't mix here."

"But the irrational touch is because like I said, when CIA grants sanctuary to an enemy turncoat, they never trust them. They watch them like a hawk, Daniel was doing his job and he's obsessed with her being our ally. But that obsession could point a different way, said way is that she got to him. Total loyalty to his queen, but he wants to return to her duty." Sam said and Hammond nodded to her.

"Yes and I agree with you Captain, Teal'C, it's clear to me, but combining those three things together. They're not leaving the base and not until they're clean of the effects of the pheromone. But again, Daniel was faking that cut on his arm, it's faked, Dr. Frasier proved the point of true friendship and loyalty. However that cut on yours is 6.5 years old, in my eyes, you're dangerous, Colonel."

"Now that we saw that scar, when I activated you, I wanted you under psyche evaluation, that's one mistake I'm not making the same mistakes twice. But starting now, Daniel is watching you every time you lose it. That you're ending up in the brig, in the infirmary until you calm down." Hammond said sternly as Maggie came running into the room with an empty bag of his blood type and the knife.

"That was faked alright, empty bag of blood and he had a scar where it was being aimed at, you two, we know you're going to try to twist this truth. But no chance at that, gentleman." Maggie said sternly and Carson and Hammond turned to her. "Why exactly Lieutenant Henderson?" Hammond asked and she explained that. "It gets better general, I checked the chemistry lab and found a block of gold."

"This knife next to it and I heard her declaration, our new Jaffa as they got him out of the sarcophagus here, before she destroyed it at the time. A couple of etchings of marks, her symbol, it just makes the remark. And of espionage stick, he, Daniel, said he's her consort, her pharaoh, but that means no marks. Of any kind, no injuries, or symbols, but her jaffa, however O'neill is the first one."

"That was lying by the hot tub once she spawned, what's that say to you General Carson?" She asked and they paled at that as he answered her. "They were competing for the rank of first prime and that sums it up. Daniel it was date rape and he was stage acting for us and them. They really had turned on us, well, until you're both passed my scrutiny, you're both deactivated as of now."

"But Daniel has gone to Chulak to get the prototype back, he's with Bra'tac, he's finishing the mission for us and it's on joint chiefs. The president's orders you two, so as Dr. Frasier has said you're under arrest. And for crimes against earth, helping the enemy is an act of war, attempted murder. And of our only ally against them and two assault and battery charges on a team mate now."

" Mckenzie is being left out of this right now, but you're both NID, turning to an NID turned psychiatrist, I work for the pentagon and joint chiefs, you two." Carson said and Hammond finished that. "Done, and to repeat that, as of now, until the effects wear off you are hereby deactivated. And undergoing a very intense psyche evaluation as of now." Hammond said sharply for him and they paled at that.

"Us, what about him, he just tried to slice his wrist and left to go on a suicide mission, this was our mistake, we got to clean it up." Makepeace snapped at him quickly and he shook his head. "I can see in that remark, you don't want to admit you're not strong enough in the job mentally and emotionally. And want to turn this around, but it's not going to happen, gentlemen, you're on stand down."

"And until further notice, besides, the joint chiefs feel this mission should go based on intellect and not athletics. And there are better ways to do this without leaving a trail of destruction in your wake. Besides he's not alone, he's with Bra'tac and six members of the base dressed in the priest robes. That the three of you used regarding Ry'ac." Hammond said and Jack repeated the remark.

"He's a traitor general, he's going to sell us out." he said and Hammond crossed his arms. "Is that your opinion or is it just this new psychosis talking right now, Colonel O'neill, as you're in enough trouble already. Because you just committed treason and attacked a team mate and want to show. Now that you're thinking straight, with General Carson taking charge." he asked him sternly at that remark.

"He tried to kill himself a bit ago and he was going on a suicide mission, he is a civilian who has no training for this type of thing. I over heard the conversation with her after they freed me and I was listening closely to it, Sir. The 'my queen' remark was sincere?" Jack snapped desperately, and they nodded. "Then what do you call this exactly, Colonel?" Hammond asked as he typed in the codes then firmly.

As they saw him acting like double agent, before it switched to him with a bag of blood and the knife. And as he tore it open and dipped the knife into the bag and slid the tip of it gently across his wrist then. "That was not faked, he really had slashed his wrist when I walked in there, General." Jack snapped at that in desperation at the remark and they nodded firmly as Sam looked at her female trio as she said it to them.

"I'd consider this delirium now, that not only is he drugged and hallucinating, he and Makepeace are determined not to see the truth. With them coming down off the effects of this crap, it's clear they're determined to hang on to this. This fevered psychosis on Daniel." she said and Janet and Anna nodded. "Too bad we don't have a queen or the offshoot that can explain the side effects of this."

"Janet is it just possible that the effects act like amphetamines and the longer exposed they start becoming irrational and violent. In the same way they did regarding the game side effects. A psychotropic reaction and in the withdrawal the victim gets more violent?" Anna asked her and she nodded. "Yeah extremely high Anna, though thats the case, that explains why they want to go to her."

"Just because they're addicted to whatever this crap is and the drugs effects on them are wearing off. And they don't want to let go of the effect, so they want to get their fix and prove their thinking straight with General Carson. If that's not desperate, nothing is here."Warren said trying to control his stomach at this in shock.
