Chapter 1 - Nana!

The world was on the verge of destruction and the only hope of saving it was two super-powered teenage boys. Ben Tennyson and Rex Salazar were facing off against a powerful being that somehow brought the two heroes together in the first place; once the Alpha Nanite got ahold of Rex's Omega Nanite and Ben's Ultimatrix abilities, it seemed to be unstoppable, but that had when Ben got an idea. By combining their powers, Ben managed to upgrade Rex's machinery, giving them the advantage, yet the Alpha would not go down that easily. With a blast of fire from its mouth, the united heroes were sent tumbling backwards as they separated and powered down. Despite the blow, they still stood up to fight. "We need a direct hit on the Alpha!" Rex stated.

"More insults? I've got a good one!" Ben offered.

"I've got an idea, but you've gotta trust me. When I fire, you gotta do your roly-poly thing!" Rex told him.

"You're not thinking of…" Ben trailed off.

"Yep." Rex smiled.

"Isn't that dangerous?" Ben wondered.

"Probably," Rex said, uncertain.

"On three?" Ben said, completely on board.

"I've officially decided I like you, monster guy," Rex declared.

"Same here, robot kid," Ben returned the sentiment. Their moment was interrupted by the Alpha coming at them. "One!" Rex brought out his Slam Cannon and encased the teen plumber in the ammo compartment.

"Two!" Rex began to take aim at the giant creature, using his high-tech goggles to locate his Omega Nanite. With his target locked, he shouted, "Three!" and the Evo teen fired, launching Ben as Cannonbolt at the Alpha Nanite. The Arubian Pelarota went right through the giant Evo, coming out from its back. The attack caused the creature to immediately combust, and Rex quickly ran for cover; when the dust settled, what used to be the Alpha Nanite was now missing its upper body and was taking the form of a smoke cloud. "Woohoo! Yeah! Oh yeah! He shoots, he scores! And the crowd goes wild!" Rex stopped his cheering when he noticed the smoke starting to take form again. "Whoa there, little nanite brothers, where do you think you're going? Alpha's not the only one who can tell you what to do!" Rex stated as he went up to the leg of the creature just as Cannonbolt rolled up beside him and changed back into Ben. Placing his hands on the Alpha Nanite and starting to do his thing, the cloud soon started to take the shape of a sphere.

"Wait, isn't your Omega Nanite gonna be in there too?" Ben asked him.

"I'll handle that!" Rex's big brother said, having appeared behind them. He aimed a cannon-like device at the cloud and fired. He looked at his monitor, searching through the cluster of nanites for the one mentioned. "Where are you, little guy…?" He finally found it and pulled it out of the Alpha Nanite and into a container just as the sphere began to condense and shrink. "Got it!"

Rex proceeded to condense the cluster of nanites until it reached the size of a small sphere, letting it hit the ground in a crater as he took a breather from exhaustion. "And that, my friend, is how you save the world," Ben commended him. Caesar went and started scanning the Nanite sphere.

"Very clever, little brother, the density of this sphere is over 30 grams per centimeter cube. It would be extremely difficult for the Alpha to slip through the molecules of this, assuming it survived compaction," Caesar explained. "We need to get rid of it now!" The scientist pulled out a large gun to use.

"Caesar, wait…" Rex urged.

"Rex, I wasn't able to fully repair the Void gun. I don't know how long my repairs will hold before it discharges. We only get one shot, and we have to do it fast! It's now or never, Rex!" His brother told him. Rex looked at Ben who nodded. Caesar fired his weapon, opening a red portal to a familiar parallel dimension. With the portal open, the teen heroes fist bumped as Ben prepared to depart with the Alpha Nanite.

"How are you going to carry it? That thing must weigh like ten tons!" Rex questioned.

"I'm not going to carry it," Ben replied as he used the Ultimatrix to transform into a Murk Gourmand. "Let's do this again someday," Upchuck suggested, receiving a thumbs up from Rex. The little alien extended its tongue and lifted up the super dense ball, swallowing it whole.

"Wow. That's just… wow," Rex stated in awe. Upchuck waved to his new friend as he stepped into the portal to return home. However, something was happening; the portal from the void gun started releasing electricity and changed from red to yellow, just like the rift that started all of this. "Caesar, what's happening?!"

"The portal is changing. The Alpha tried to break free from your sphere, and I'm guessing your friend couldn't contain long enough to get home," Caesar answered. The Salazar brothers watched as the rift started to expand and swirl around, leading to Caesar dropping the void gun and both of them running to get away from it. "This isn't good."

"What is it now?" Rex asked.

"I think Ben must be trying to fight the Alpha, and since this rift is still going, he might not be winning," the scientist said.

"What does that mean? What's gonna happen to him?" Rex questioned.

"I don't know, but I don't think he'll be going home," Caesar replied.

Rex pulled down his goggles to try and see what was going on in the phenomenon; he picked up two beings caught in the energy surge, one of them trying to grab onto the other, but was being smacked around. "I've got to help him!" Rex ran to the rift but was grabbed by his brother.

"Rex, wait! We don't know what'll happen to you if you get in there. You could end up going to a parallel world!" Caesar warned.

"Like where Ben's from?" Rex asked.

"Maybe. Maybe not. There are too many unknown variables and too many dimensions to guess where you'll end up."

"So what? I'm supposed to just let him get sent to a whole new world where he could get stuck in forever? No way, hermano!" the EVO said. "I said I'd help Ben get home to his loved ones and after everything he did to help save our world, I can't leave him hanging like this! I don't care where I end up, I'm doing this!"

Caesar looked worried, but seeing his brother's determination, seemed to back down when the large rift started to decrease in size. "The rift is closing; Ben and the Alpha are about to enter another dimension."

"Guess I'd better get going then!" Rex said.

"I can't stop you, huh. Well, if you're serious about doing this…" He then brought out a small device and attached the container from before to it. Caesar took Rex's arm and stuck the device into it.

"Ow! What was that?" Rex asked.

"Just returning what's yours. You're gonna need all you've got if you plan on coming back," Caesar said.

"Oh, I'm coming back. You and I aren't done yet. Just do me a favor and tell my friends I'll be back soon, especially Six when he wakes up," Rex joked. "Adios, bro." Rex started running towards them before he quickly grabbed the void gun. "This might come in handy," He then generated his punk busters and jumped right into the rift.

Night in Jump City, people were going about doing their usual things, unaware of the many unusual things that would change their city, like the dimensional rift that opened in the sky and spat out Ben, Rex, and the Alpha Nanite. As the three fell, Upchuck pressed his badge and changed into an Arachnichimp. "Spidermonkey!" The alien quickly shot out his silk and created a web net to catch him and Rex while the nanite sphere fell through one of the gaps and crashed into the pavement.

"Ugh, this stuff is kind of gross," Rex stated.

"Rex? What are you doing here?" Ben asked.

"Here to help. You're welcome, by the way," Rex said as he generated his sword and cut the web, landing on the street; Ben landed beside him and changed back to his human form. "Where are we?"

"Talk later. First let's deal with that," Ben told him as he pointed to the cracked nanite sphere that was releasing red smoke. The two teens rushed over to it and Rex placed his hands on the gas, using his ability to conceal all the fleeing nanites back into the sphere. When done, he brought out his giant mechanical arm and picked it up. "You sure that'll hold it this time?"

"Yeah, I reinforced the sphere's density. This should keep it contained long enough for us to get home," Rex said.

"And how do we get home?" Ben asked.

"I did not think that far ahead," Rex admitted as he spun the sphere on his metal finger.

"I don't suppose your brother can open up another rift with that void gun of his," Ben said.

"You mean this one?" Rex said as he held up the aforementioned device. "I thought we could use it to get back."

"Great. Do you know how it works?" Ben inquired and received a no. "It's okay, I've used Null Void Projectors and I've got a few smart aliens that could figure it out." The two then noticed people staring at them, or more specifically at Rex's smack hand. "Uh, nothing to see here, people. Just a couple of performers practicing for a big show. Move it along." The civilians complied and went about their business. "We're attracting too much attention. We need a private place if we're gonna figure this out."

"Well, I'm open to suggestions?" Rex said.

The alien hero pointed over to a restaurant called Pizzeria. "Wanna get a pizza?"

Soon, the two teens were chowing down on pepperoni pizza and analyzing the situation. "Any chance this is actually your home dimension?" Rex asked.

Ben pulled out his badge and checked the holographic map. "No sign of any Plumber agents here, then again, this isn't Bellwood. This is Jump City."

"Jump City? You're kidding, right?" Rex questioned.

"No. I asked before I ordered the meal," Ben replied as took a bite of a slice of pizza. "But before anything else, let's deal with that ball. You must be getting tired from holding it."

"Not really, but go ahead," Rex said.

Ben pressed on his Ultimatrix and changed into the tiny genius alien. "Grey Matter!" The Galvin immediately started disassembling Caesar's Void gun and converting the parts into a containment unit and brought it out for the teen EVO. "Here, put it in this." Rex did so and Grey Matter closed the container; he then proceeded to use the remaining parts to make a smaller void gun. "Alright, let's fire this thing up and go home." Ben pulled the trigger but nothing happened. "Aw man. Well, it was worth a shot."

"Great. So, are we stuck here or what?" Rex asked.

"I just need to figure out why the void gun isn't working. If I could just find some Plumber tech, maybe that could help," Grey Matter speculated.

"Where are you gonna find that?" Rex inquired.

"My Earth had Plumber facilities everywhere and lucky for us, I know the location of all of them. If this earth is similar to mine, maybe we can use those facilities," Ben explained. "It's as good a place to start as any."

Rex finished his pizza and got up. "So, when do we leave?" Before the two could leave, they spotted a green flash of light fly across the sky and crash somewhere in the city, causing an explosion upon impact. "What was that?"

"My guess, trouble," Ben said.

People gathered around the crash area that was releasing green smoke; when it cleared, a red-haired girl with glowing green eyes and weighted handcuffs stepped out of the crater, looking perturbed. "Slopforn ivortmat! Slopforn! Ond gudshik zerrole!" The civilians there were becoming frightened by her angry state, and one decided to take a photo, but that made her angrier. The alien girl started swinging her restraints wildly, scaring the bystanders to flee; she proceeded to slam her cuffs against everything: cars, payphones, benches, the pavement. The two heroes watched the alien girl wreck everything in her path.

"Well, monster kid, you're the expert on aliens. What do you think her problem is?" Rex inquired.

"What makes you think she's an alien?" Ben asked.

"Well, I doubt there are EVOs in this world. Plus, what else would you call a girl with glowing green eyes that fell from the sky?" Rex pointed out.

"True. If I had to guess, she's distressed and looking for help. Aliens tend to cause trouble when they're in trouble," Ben mused.

"Then why not just ask for help? And why is she speaking gibberish?" Rex questioned.

"She's speaking her native language. I have something for that." The Plumber then pulled out his badge. "Stay back, I'm gonna try something." Ben then slowly approached the alien girl as she was about to strike the support beam to the second floor of the Pizzeria; when she noticed him, she repeated her earlier statement to him. "Uh yeah, Slopforn. Uh, listen miss, I can't understand what you're saying but I can help, if you'll let me." He held out his badge and pointed it at her, but she got a shocked look on her face and reacted by kicking the badge out of his hand and swinging her cuffs at him, knocking him to the ground.

The girl then went back to the pole and started whacking it while screaming, "Zop! Yark! Mesnef!" With each strike, the column took more damage and the balcony it was supporting crumbled.

"Hey, stop, those are civilians!" Ben urged her. She responded by bringing her cuffs down on him, Ben rolled to evade before using his legs to swipe her legs, making her fall back. "Sorry, reflex!" She got up just as he did and rushed to attack him again, but her strike was blocked by a giant metal hand as Rex knocked the alien back a few feet. "Thanks, robot boy."

"What exactly were you trying to do?" Rex asked.

"My badge has a universal translator. I was trying to use it to understand what she was saying before she freaked out on me." Ben explained as he looked around. "You see where she kicked my badge?"

"No, but I see a crazy girl coming back for more," Rex alerted him. Just as he said the redhead came right at them; Rex threw his smack hand at her, but she blocked it with her cuffs before smashing the mechanical hand with her restraints. Rex tried to strike her again, but she jumped onto the other fist and flew at the EVO to hit him again. "Oh yeah, she needs help alright."

"Can you just hold her off till I find my badge?" Ben requested.

"OK but I warn you, I'm better at handling EVOs than crazy girls. Just ask Breach," Rex said. He then brought out his blast caster and used it to constrict her. She tugged and Rex tugged back, releasing an electric shock to stun her.

"Hey, I said to hold her, not hurt her!" Ben reminded his friend.

"Gimme a break!" Rex exclaimed just before his machine broke into pieces and released the alien girl. "That's not what I meant!" was all he could get out before the girl sent him flying into Tennyson, who had just managed to find his badge.

"What happened, Rex?" Ben asked.

Rex tried to bring out another machine but his hands only sparked electricity. "Biometrics must be pretty low from fighting Alpha. Gonna need a moment."

"Guess we're doing this the hard way! It's Hero Time!" Ben declared as he slammed his hand onto his Ultimatrix; after a flash of green light the teen hero found that his form… hadn't changed at all. "What the?"

"Uncatalogued DNA detected. Function not available. Please stand by," the Ultimatrix stated.

"Aw, not now!" Ben groaned. "I got nothing!"

"Really not what I wanted to hear!" Rex said. The alien girl rushed to attack again when she was suddenly intercepted by a projectile that struck the crown on her face. The three looked to see where the weapon came from, spotting a spiky black-haired teen wearing a mask with a cape concealing his red, yellow and green uniform bearing an 'R' on his chest, standing on top of a car.

"Who are you?" Robin demanded as he took a stance. The orange-skinned girl didn't answer, she just switched targets and attacked the newcomer. The Boy Wonder dodged her strike that ended up cracking the pavement; she kept on swinging her cuffs at him while he dodged, both unaware of the cloaked figure that was observing the scene. Ben and Rex were impressed that the former sidekick was able to evade the alien.

"Wow, I thought only Six could move like that," Rex commented.

"I've only seen my cousin move like that," Ben noted.

Robin threw an explosive at the alien girl, but it did no harm to her. She then lifted a car with her foot and kicked at him but the bird boy ducks and watches it sail straight into a building and explode. "Hmm, stronger than she looks," His deduction left him open to his opponent's assault and getting knocked across the pavement. She didn't give him time to recover, jumping to hit him again but he was grabbed and pulled aside by Ben.

"You alright?" Ben asked.

"Thanks, but I've got it handled." Robin assured him as he brought out his bow staff. With a quick strike, the boy wonder sent the alien girl flying into a car. Robin held his staff, prepared for a counterattack when it shattered to pieces.

"I can see that," Ben said sarcastically.

Red immediately stood up from the car, cracking her neck to show that she had taken minimum damage from Robin's attack. She smiled and muttered "Zota," before jumping to attack again. Rex stood in front of the other teens attempting to generate any of his machines; the alien was stopped when a green ram struck her and changed into a green pointy eared teen wearing a mask.

"Ex-Doom Patrol Member Beast Boy sirs! How can I help?" He stood attentively before the three when he recognized one of them. "Wowzers! You're Robin, aren't you sir?"

"Well, you can start by not calling me sir," Robin told him.

"Who's Robin?" Rex questioned.

"Uh hello, Robin the Boy Wonder? One of Gotham's heroes? Sidekick to the Dark Knight? Ring any bells?" Beast Boy rambled.

"Ex-sidekick and Ex-partner." Robin clarified.

"Touchy subject," Ben then asked. "Don't suppose you know who I am?" The changeling shook his head.

"What about me? You gotta know me, right?" Rex asked, also receiving a no.

Beast Boy once again addressed Robin, his eyes full of admiration. "Well let me just say that it's a real honor to be-"

"Uh guys," Ben said as he pointed to the angry alien, who was lifting a bus with ease. She hurled it at her enemies with Beast Boy, Ben and Robin dodging while Rex managed to bring out one smack hand. Before he could catch the bus, a big man with one red eye, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and gloves stepped in front of him and caught it; the new guy placed the bus down and stepped forward.

"Nice catch," Rex commended.

"Yo! Who's here messing up my neighborhood?" the new guy exclaimed.

"She started it!" Beast Boy replied.

The alien girl slowly approached the men before slamming her cuffs onto the pavement one more time, causing a small tremor from the impact; this time, her restraints took some damage with the part that covered her hands falling to the floor. Her hands began glowing green as she aimed them at her adversaries, immediately firing multiple energy bolts at them. Rex quickly brought out his block party gauntlets and generated an energy barrier around him and the others; the alien kept firing, her blasts bouncing off the shield to the city around. Eventually, Rex's barrier broke and he fell to his knees; Ben grabbed him and ran behind the bus for cover as did the other three. "C'mon, give me something! Chromastone! Eatle! Upchuck!" Ben tried his watch again.

"Function not available. Please stand by." the Ultimatrix replied again.

"Still got nothing. How about you guys?" Ben asked.

"Not good, biometrics seriously low. If I don't get a break soon, I'm gonna black out." Rex answered.

"Looks like you're not the only one," Beast Boy pointed out. The alien girl finally stopped blasting as her hands were smoking and she fell to the floor in exhaustion. "She's about to tire out."

"If she doesn't wreck the whole city first." the big man said.

"I won't let her. I won't lose this fight." Robin declared. The Boy wonder, the shapeshifter and the big guy ran out to take the offensive but were immediately cut off by a large bird silhouette of black energy.

"Maybe fighting isn't the answer," the boys looked back to see a girl wearing a blue cloak behind them. She then drops the shield, and they glance at the tired-out alien.

"Stand down." Robin ordered.

"What, do you think you're the boss or something?" the big guy questioned.

"Just give me a chance," Robin requested. The others obeyed as the Boy Wonder approached the alien girl. Noticing him, she stood up and prepared to blast him again.

"Gokta." she said.

Robin held up his hands, showing he meant no harm. "Easy. My name is Robin, and I don't want to hurt you, I just want to help." he said as he slowly reached into his utility belt.

Still not trusting him, the alien girl kept her hands pointed at the young hero and said "Gokta! Gokta boo ogna."

"It's okay. Look." He showed her the lockpick. The orange girl glared at the Ex-sidekick, but he just smiled; seeing that he was no longer hostile, she relaxed herself, allowing him to work on unlocking her cuffs. He's successful and the cuffs fall to the ground as the alien massages her wrists. "There. Now maybe we can be-" He didn't get to finish because the alien girl pulled him into a full-on kiss; when she was done, she pushed him to the ground and spoke.

"If you wish not to be destroyed, you will leave me alone!" And with that, she immediately took off, leaving the other teens in shock.

"So, I'm Beast Boy. Who are you?" the green teen asked the others.

The six stood in the wrecked neighborhood, still recovering from what just happened. "She could speak English the whole time. Then what was with the rampage?" Rex asked.

"Maybe she just learned it." Ben suggested, still looking for his badge.

"Right. In the split second of a kiss, she learned to speak English. Maybe she'll learn Spanish from me with that trick," Rex said sarcastically.

"Aliens do have strange abilities," Ben said.

"Well, whoever she was, the girl sure knows how to make an impression." the big guy commented.

"I think we made a pretty good impression. Crazy Space girl is gone, the city is saved, mission accomplished, right sir?" Beast Boy asked Robin.

"Seriously, stop calling me that," the Boy wonder told him.

"Roger." the green dude saluted him.

"Look like we're done here. I appreciate the help." Robin said as he started to walk away.

"You're going to track down the alien?" the cloaked girl asked him.

"I have to find out if she's a threat," Robin answered.

"More like find out if she'll give him another kiss." the big guy muttered to himself.

Beast Boy ran up to the Ex-sidekick. "Hey sir…I mean Robin, do you maybe-"

"Sorry, I just went solo. I'm not looking to join a team." Robin replied and went on his way.

"Need a sidekick?" Beast Boy finished. The shapeshifter then turns to the other teens. "You guys wanna get a pizza?"

"Sorry dude, we just ate." Rex said.

"I shouldn't," the cloaked girl said before looking at Ben. "You dropped this," She uses her powers to bring Ben's badge over to him.

"Thanks. Well, see you guys around." Ben said. The teens each went in different directions with Beast Boy following the big guy, Robin and the cloaked girl on their own and Ben and Rex leaving together.

"So, what now?" Rex asked.

"Well now, we should try and get back to our worlds, but I'm still concerned about the alien girl," Ben replied.

"Why? She left, probably going back to her own planet." Rex said.

"Unless she can just fly there through space, she probably just went somewhere else in the city. And usually when an alien crash lands on Earth, they're either looking to start trouble or on the run from something more dangerous than them." Ben explained.

"Well, since she was cuffed it's most likely the second one." Rex guessed.

"So, the question is, what's she running from?" the Plumber inquired.

"Are we gonna find out?" the EVO asked.

Ben pulled out his Null-Void projector and tried to fire it again, still getting the same results as before. "Since our attempts to get home haven't been successful, it doesn't seem like we've got anything better to do. Plus, I'm a Plumber, an intergalactic police officer, this is kind of in my job description."

"DUDE!" The two looked back when they heard Beast Boy yell. They glanced up to see the giant orange alien warship hover over Jump City; it stopped above a small island and released a large cylindrical machine onto it.

"Is a giant ship in your job description?" Rex asked.

"It definitely is," Ben said before the two went back.

"Looks like Space Girl has friends," Cyborg said.

"Or enemies." Robin guessed as he rejoined the group.

The machine let out a beam of light from the top that changed into a holographic projection of a new alien creature that looked to be the cross between a lizard and a fish. "People of Earth, we come to your planet hunting an escaped prisoner, a very dangerous prisoner. Do not interfere, and we will leave your city with only minimum damage. But if you attempt to assist her, your destruction will be absolute." After giving the warning, the projection ended, and the pod started to open.

"That's a big ship," Cyborg commented.

Once opened, more reptilian alien creatures were lined up, ready to search for their escaped prisoner. "And those are some scary-looking aliens." Beast Boy said.

"They told us not to interfere." Raven pointed out.

The new aliens immediately began flying throughout the city to start their search. "You're still going after her, aren't you?" Cyborg asked Robin, receiving a nod to confirm.

"Can we come?" Beast Boy asked.

"I suppose I could team up just this once." Robin replied, the others smiling back. The guys started to go when they noticed Raven staying behind and stopped. "You coming?" He asked her.

She turned away from them and spoke. "I'm not the hero type. Trust me, if you knew what I really am, you wouldn't want me around." Robin placed his hand on her shoulder, getting her to look at him.

"I know enough," he told her.

"Besides, between crazy Space Girl and scary aliens, we'll need all the help we can get. If you're willing, I mean," Ben said, and Raven answered with a smile.

The invaders continued their search, causing property damage and blasting buildings in order to find their prisoner; the teens watched while keeping themselves hidden in an alley. "Alright, we need some way to track-" Robin was cut off by Raven.

"She's near," the cloaked girl said, getting the guys to look at her in bewilderment. "I can sense things."

"I'll see if I can pick up her scent," Beast Boy, changing into a bloodhound and began sniffing around.

Ben hands his badge to Rex and asks "Need a hand with that? Or nose?" He presses his Ultimatrix, changing into the Vulpimancer form and joins the search.

"Dude, you can shapeshift too?' Beast Boy changed back to ask before going dog again.

"Why didn't you use this against the girl?" Robin asked. Wildmutt answered but his native language could not be understood. "What's he saying?"

"Beats me. I don't speak alien dog," Rex replied.

Ben presses the dial, and he soon transforms into the evolved Vulpimancer. "Ultimate Wildmutt! I said, 'I tried but her DNA was unknown to my watch, and it caused it to temporarily deactivate." Ben said. The others looked at him in confusion from his response.

"So, are you an alien too?" Raven asked.

"In a manner of speaking, I'm actually a whole bunch of aliens. I'll explain later." Ben said.

"Wait a minute. Not only can you transform into a lot of aliens, but you can also make them stronger?" Rex asked. "And you didn't do that when we needed something good to beat Alpha?"

"Well considering that he could copy my alien forms, there's a chance he could've done the same with my ultimate forms," Ben replied.

"Well, I don't see how this'll help track the space girl. You don't even have eyes, ears or a nose at all. Just these gills." Rex said as he went to touch the gills only for Wildmutt to grab his hand.

"Vulpimancers rely only on their sense of smell to get around, and those aren't gills, that's where the nose is." Ben clarified.

"Okay, back to the task at hand. There's a sonic analyzer built into my arm. If she's around, I'll hear it." Cyborg said, showing the monitor on his cybernetic arm.

"Good." Robin said.

"We got her trail!" Beast Boy exclaimed after changing back to himself.

"And I can hear her heartbeat." Cyborg said.

"This way!" Ben said before he and Beast Boy ran off with the others following after them. The trail led the teens to a video store that had a hole burned into the wall. Inside, the alien girl was stuffing her face with the offered snacks; she was so busy eating she didn't notice the other teens coming up behind her.

"Uh…those taste better without the wrapper." Beast Boy commented.

The alien girl stopped her eating and turned towards the others, her hands glowing with energy. "Easy there, we're not here to hurt you, we just want to help." Ben said as he stood defensively in front of the others.

"What are you? Some kind of deformed Vulpimancer?" the alien asked.

"Rude. I'm an evolved Vulpimancer." Ben replied.

"Did they send you to track me down?" She inquired.

"Who's they? The lizard guys? No, like I said we're not here to hurt you like before," Wildmutt repeated. His chest symbol let out a yellow energy that passed right through the red-head and scanned her up and down.

"Unknown DNA sample acquired. Scan complete." the Ultimatrix stated.

"Sorry, just ignore that," Ben said.

Robin stepped forward with his hands up. "It's alright. We're friends, remember?"

"Friends? Why? For what purpose did you free me?" red questioned as she moved closer to the teens, getting them to cautiously step back.

"Just…trying to be nice." Robin replied.

"Nice. We do not have this word on my planet. Closest thing is rutha, weak." Space girl explained.

"Well around here nice means nice, and if you want us to keep being nice, you'd better tell us why the lizard king took you prisoner." Cyborg demanded.

The alien finally calmed down, withdrawing her attack and looked down sadly. "Not prisoner. I am…prize. The Gordanians deliver me to the Citadel, to live out my days as their servant."

"And the Citadel are?" Raven inquired.

Space girl gave a simple answer. "Not Nice."

"Then you're not going with them. Not if I have anything to say about it." Robin declared.

"Uh, don't you mean we?" Beast Boy asked. The group was interrupted by an explosion that knocked them over; in the wall, a group of the Gordanians were peering through the hole with their weapons ready.

"Seize her!" One of them ordered. The Teens smiled before rushing right into the fight. Cyborg got one with a double axe strike to the back, Beast boy morphed into a rhino and bulldozed through a few of them, Space girl smashed through a bunch of them using her great strength while Wildmutt slashed at a few of them. Rex brought out his usual smack hands and struck some of them down, Robin took out a few more using his bo-staff and Raven sent a horde of them flying using her powers.

Another explosion sent the red head flying out of the video store and she retaliated by firing her energy bolts. One of the invaders escaped her shots and flew up to her, tanking her punch and knocking right into the pavement. The Gordanian stood over the redhead, his spear electrically charged as he prepared to strike her. Robin noticed her in trouble, grabbed the alien he was fighting and hurled it at the one about to hit Space girl. The two share a glance before going to take out more Gordanians. Cyborg was pushing against one of them who grabbed his leg with its tail and knocked him on his back; Cyborg dodged a blast and got on his feet but was immediately bombarded by many other blasts. Cyborg's clothes were ripped to shreds, revealing the rest of his cybernetic body; he responded by jumping up and punching the Gordanian's spear, breaking it before grabbing him and throwing him into a bunch of other Gordanians.

More of them came and shot at Cyborg some more, Rex rushed to his aid and used his block parties to protect him. "You alright bro?" he asked him.

"Yeah, thanks man." Cyborg replied. Rex's shield began to crack from the onslaught, Beast Boy came as a Pterodactyl and flew Cyborg to safety while Rex followed using his own wings.

Wildmutt jumped over the Gordanians and pressed on his dial. "Jetray!" He exclaimed once he changed into the Aerophibian and started zapping the invaders out of the sky.

Raven used her powers to levitate a street lamp and whack the Gordanians with it. Having had enough, the invaders decided to retreat, flying back to their ship.

"I believe your expression is…thanks." the redhead said to her new friends.

"Aw man, my suit." Cyborg complained.

"So, you look way cooler without it." Beast Boy complimented him with a thumbs up.

"Yeah, like I'm taking fashion advice from the guy in the goofy mask." Cyborg said.

Looking hurt, the changeling looks over to the cloaked girl. "Goofy? My mask is cool…isn't it? Raven?" Both her and Cyborg shook their heads no. "But what about my secret identity?"

"What secret identity? You're green." Raven pointed out. Seeing her point and coming up with no argument, the shapeshifter took off his mask.

"Is this how fighting aliens usually goes for you?" Rex asked Ben.

"Like you wouldn't believe." the Plumber replied as he changed back.

"What I can't believe is that this is the kind of thing that made you into a world-famous hero," Rex commented.

"Been doing this since I was ten and I'll apparently still be doing this when I'm thirty," Ben commented, getting Rex to look at him questionably. "Went to the future once."

"This isn't over," Robin told the others. "Now that we've interfered…"

"Trogaar will strike harder. It is only a matter of…" Space explained but was interrupted by the Gordanian hologram appearing again.

"Fools! The Earth scum were warned. Your insolence will be punished. Your city shall be destroyed." The hologram ended and the warship flew right over the city, preparing to fire a large cannon.

"Great." Raven said as the teens stared at the ship.

"So, after trashing a pizza place and a perfectly good video store, now we've managed to make a humongous space gecko mad enough to vaporize our entire town?" Beast Boy questioned.

"Go team." Cyborg said with no enthusiasm.

"I've done worse," Ben said.

"All the fault is yours!" Space girl yelled at Robin. "I commanded that you leave me alone, but you insisted on the being nice!"

"My fault? You blast me! You kiss me! But you never stopped to mention they have a gigantic particle weapon?" The Boy Wonder argued back as a spark came between their eyes.

"We're doomed! I can't believe I let you talk me into this!" Beast Boy yelled at Cyborg.

"Say what? I was ready to walk before you…" Cyborg started to argue back.

"Are they seriously doing this now?" Rex asked as Ben just put his hand on his face.

"QUIET!" Raven yelled, getting the other four to stop arguing and look at her. Her timid nature immediately returned, and she simply waved "Hi."

"Thanks for being the mature one." Ben said to Raven. "As for the rest of you, I can't believe you guys, we're in a crisis and you're here arguing like six-year-olds? I mean what am I, your babysitter?" The alien hero raised up his watch to emphasize his point. "Now if this whole thing is too much for any of you to handle, my friend and I can take it from here; but if not, then pull yourselves together!"

"Uh, what he said." Rex added.

"He's right. It doesn't matter how we got into this mess. We're in it, and we will get out of it, together." Robin declared. Everyone nodded, agreeing to work together. "Come on, we've got a city to save."

"Now that's more like it." Ben said.

Inside the mothership, the large cannon was still charging while many of Gordanian sentries were securing the bridge. When they left, a black sphere phased into the ship and opened up to reveal the seven teens sneaking abroad. "Uh-huh-huh. That dark energy stuff gives me the..." the shivering shapeshifter started to say til he noticed Raven glaring at him. "I mean, it's cool." He tried to play it off, giving a thumbs up while sweating.

Robin glanced from the corner to make sure they were clear. "We have to get to the firing controls. There isn't much time." He whispered as he kept going, being followed by Space Girl, Ben, Beast Boy, Cyborg and Rex; Raven hesitated, waiting behind and looking down sadly.

"Mind telling us why you're always by yourself?" Cyborg asked as he and Rex checked on Raven.

"If it's about what the kid said, trust me, I've felt weirder," Rex joked.

"It's not just that, but you heard him. I don't exactly fit in." the cloaked girl replied.

"He's green, he turns into monsters, half of me is metal, she's from outer space and this guy makes machines from his body..." Cyborg pointed. "You fit in just fine. The three then went to catch up to the others.

The teens kept going til they stopped, and Robin checked for the guards again. "I bring you…apology." Space Girl said to him.

"Don't worry about it. I'm sorry I yelled too." Robin said to her.

"And again, you are nice. On my world, only my K'Norfka has shown me such kindness." She spoke.

"Well, things are different here." The Boy Wonder told her. The two shared a moment, smiling with the alien blushing a bit.

"Uh, if you guys are done, we've got company!" Ben alerted the others as multiple Gordanians came at them from the front and the back. He quickly activates his Ultimatrix and changes into a Methanosian. "Swampfire! I was going for Humungousoar, but I can work with this."

At the control room, other Gordanians were still operating the weapon while their leader observed from his throne; once it was fully charged, one of them turned and alerted "Lord Trogaar, the weapon has reached full power!"

"Then begin the firing sequence." Trogaar ordered as he turned his throne around and stood, appearing to be a bit larger than his subordinates. His orders were followed as the Gordanians started up the countdown and their cannon began to light up. "The Earth scum shall learn, it takes more than seven juvenile heroes to defy the mighty Lord Trogaar!" His moment of triumph was ruined by an explosion that burst open the door, with the teens standing ready.

"We're not seven heroes, we're one team." Robin declared. Trogaar roared, ordering his followers to attack.

"Rex, get to the control panel and shut down the weapon!" Ben yelled.

"On it!" the EVO replied as he brought out his fun chucks and started smashing away the alien lizards. Robin got one in the face with a flying kick. Cyborg slammed his fists onto the ground, causing a shockwave that knocked a few of the invaders over. Beast Boy changed into a kangaroo and kicked down two Gordanians. Space Girl socked one in the head with an energy charged punch. Swampfire let out a stream of fire that blasted a few on the Gordanians aside. Beast Boy continued to use his Kangaroo form to take out more enemies before Trogaar came up behind him and smashed the ground, sending him flying into the wall; just before he could be struck again, Raven appeared in front of him, creating an energy shield to block Troggar's fist. The Head Gordanian kept punching until Raven was brought to her knees and couldn't hold up the shield. Just as he prepared to smash the both of them, a large metal foot struck him in the face and knocked him away. Trogaar recovered and saw Rex changing from his mechanical feet to his slam cannon.

Rex took his aim, and the back part broke a piece of the ship; he fired, hitting the Gordanian leader with his own ship and sending him flying into the wall. When the smoke cleared, Trogaar was still standing, cracking his neck before rushing at the EVO. Rex switched to his black whip and tried to strike Trogaar, but he dodged, grabbing the tendril and pulling on it. "Not again!" Rex said as he was brought over and slammed across the control room. Swampfire came and struck the Gordanian commander in the chest, shifting his attention. "A Methanosian. You'll make an excellent addition to the Citadel along with the Tamerenean." Trogaar sneered.

"Dream on, lizard lip!" Swampfire said, shooting fire at the invader. Trogaar held up his arms to defend himself, when it stopped, he lowered his arms and smirked to show that he hardly took damage from the attack. "Tough guy huh? Then let's turn up the heat!" He pressed on his symbol and changed into his evolved state. "Ultimate Swampfire!" The fiery plant alien grabbed the explosives on his arms and threw them at Trogaar, detonating them upon contact. The Gordanian withstood them and jumped through the smoke, immediately slashed at Swampfire's right arm, and severed it. Before the Methanosian could recover, Trogaar struck him with his tail and knocked him on his back. Robin then jumps onto the Head Gordanian back to stop him, but Trogaar grabs the Boy Wonder and hurls him off; Robin rebounds and punches Trogaar in the face then proceeds to kick him.

Robin tries to attack again but Trogaar grabs him and throws him into the wall. "Robin!" Space Girl gasped just as Trogaar came after her. She retaliated by throwing energy bolts at her adversary; he tanked her blasts and jumped, grabbing her, and slamming her to the floor. She struggled against his grip, socking him in the face and making him stagger after releasing her. Cyborg soon joined him and hit Trogaar with his own punch. The Alien and the Cyborg double teamed him, punching him two more times. Still on his feet, Trogaar smirked as he struck Cyborg in the gut and Space Girl in the face. He punched the two one more time, sending them towards Robin; as Cyborg landed, his right arm shifted a bit before changing back to normal.

"Can you rewire that into some kind of weapon?" Robin asked him.

"I can try," Cyborg replied.

Trogaar and many of his subordinates stood before the three teens just as Ben came to their side. "Get away from my friends!" Raven ordered as she helped Beast Boy up. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Unleashing her powers, she caused a big explosion in the control room and sent the Gordanian ship plummeting into the sea. In the aftermath, nearly all the Gordanians were knocked unconscious, with Trogaar being the only one standing. Enraged, he approached Raven and Beast Boy and extended his claws. Rex stood in front of the two with his big fat sword ready just as Trogaar was about to attack; the Gordanian cried out in pain as he collapsed from being blasted in the back by Swampfire and Cyborg's newly formed arm cannon.

"And stay down!" Ben exclaimed.

"Alright, I'm only going to say this once. Booyah!" Cyborg cheered.

After the Gordanians defeat, the teen heroes minus Space Girl were standing on the small island where the giant holo-project was placed and staring out at the city as the sun began to rise. "That's quite a view." Raven commented with her hood down, showing her face.

"It is pretty sweet." Ben agreed.

"Somebody ought to build a house here." Cyborg said.

"Would be a nice place to live," Rex said.

"Yeah, if you like sunshine and the beach," Beast Boy joked while nudging Raven.

She laughs and tells him. "You know, you're kind of funny."

The changeling gave her a bright smile with stars in his eyes. "You think I'm funny? Dude, I know some jokes!" he said, getting in her face and making her uncomfortable.

The alien girl came up to them dressed in new clothes. "Please…I look nice?" she inquired.

"I still don't know your name," Robin said.

"In your language, it would be Starfire." She introduced herself.

"Welcome to Earth, Starfire." Robin told her.

"I thank you all for your bravery and help, and I wish to ask permission to stay here, where the people are most strange, but also most kind." Starfire requested, both her and Robin blushing.

"You don't need our permission," Raven said.

"But if you want our friendship, you've got it." the Boy Wonder replied.

"Guess we could all use some new friends." Cyborg said.

"Besides, we kind of made a good team." Beast Boy commented.

"I thought we might want to keep in touch, so Cyborg and I designed these." Robin brought a handful of small communication devices, each for one teen other than Cyborg and himself.

"Made them out of my own circuits." Cyborg stated.

"When there's trouble, you know who to call." Robin said.

A/N: Alright, confession time! Someone pitched this idea to me and ever since they did, I could not stop thinking about it and so I had to write it down just to get it out of my head. I actually think this'll be an interesting story, and I also can't stop thinking about it now that I've started. In any case, I hope this was a good first chapter. Until next time, TTFN AntiHero out!
