You know I do hate that I never saved the original chapters to the first season of this series. All I have is chapter 10 and 4. I hated how I wrote the first 6 chapters of the new adventures and just never thought to save them. But oh well!
El Tigre the New Adventures Season 1 Episode 11 – Tetsuo Aragaki
Tetsuo Aragaki stood in front of both Manny and Marcus with a soft grin across his face. Marcus stared at Tetsuo with his eyes widen and jaw slightly hung open. He couldn't believe his eyes. The man who he believed to be dead was standing in front of him. Manny was confused. He looked between Tetsuo and Marcus, puzzled.
"I'm not surprised by your reaction," Tetsuo said as he slid his hair back with his right hand. "Being the last time that you saw me I was bombed with a hailstorm of bullets."
"Marcus who is this guy?" asked Manny, anxiously.
"Oh where are my manners," said Tetsuo, turning to Manny. He gave a bow with his left arm across his stomach. "My name is Tetsuo Aragaki. It's a pleasure to meet you El Tigre."
"Tetsuo Aragaki?" Manny repeated with a whisper.
"That's right," Tetsuo chuckled. He then placed his sharp gaze back onto Marcus. Tetsuo stared at Marcus's eyes as if he was searching for something. Then he said "You've changed Marcus. Everything about you that I use to know is gone, I can tell."
Marcus didn't say anything. Manny looked at Marcus. Marcus had this look of anxiety. He was sweating and he was breathing also picked up a bit. Manny had never seen Marcus like this before. Just who really is this man? And how do they know each other?
"Where's your sword, Marcus? Do you not use it anymore?" Tetsuo asked.
Marcus twitched. He clenched his teeth and glared at Tetsuo.
"What sword?" Manny thought. "Marcus has a sword?"
Tetsuo tilted his head a bit. "You are different now…you show so much more emotion now compared to back then. How times have changed." He said as he began to rub his chin.
"What the hell are you doing here? How the hell are you even alive?!" said Marcus finally.
"Well for me being alive…it'll probably be a shocker to you. As for why I am here, it's because of a couple of individuals. This is where I need your help." Tetsuo said as he slightly crossed his arms. "I need you to help me kill Kendra Calins."
Manny and Marcus's eyes widened.
"The International tournament was the perfect opportunity for me. Knowing that she'd show up with the rest of those fools I couldn't miss this." Tetsuo said, followed by a low chuckle.
"HEY! Just what the heck are you—"
"STAY OUT OF THIS MANNY!" Marcus roared, batting his eyes at Manny.
Manny went silent, shocked by Marcus's sudden outburst.
"Why the hell do you want to kill her? She's one of the finest medical healers in the world! That and she's a member of the league of hero's. Do you even know what you're getting into by threatening her life?!" Marcus said seriously.
"Of course I know what I'm getting into." Tetsuo replied "The reason I'm after her life is a lot more personal. Her being a part of the official medical team Life-Line is another reason why she must die. And I need your help in doing so Marcus."
Marcus clenched his teeth and bawled up his fist "No…" he said through his teeth.
Tetsuo raised a brow.
"I'm not helping you kill anybody. Especially one of the people helping those who need help! And…" Marcus looked up and glared at Tetsuo. "I can't let you do that…"
Manny smiled at Marcus and looked over at Tetsuo "THAT'S RIGHT YOU WEIRDO!" He shouted with a smirk.
"Hmm," said Tetsuo, as he rubbed his chin softly while looking up and down at Marcus. "You really have changed over the years, Marcus…you aren't like who you use to be at all. But everyone changes over the years of course…"
Marcus stayed silent.
"It's a shame really," Tetsuo said as he unfolds his arms. "I didn't expect to be killing someone who I call a friend here."
As soon as Manny heard that he extends his claws and glares straight at Tetsuo. Tetsuo saw this and simply let out a playful chuckle. He looked back at Marcus. He then said "Are you sure you want to get in my way? I didn't want it to come to this."
Marcus didn't reply. A stream of fire went up his arm.
"Oooh, so you've gotten better at using your art of fire. That's very interesting." Tetsuo said softly. "I guess I do have no choice." Tetsuo was fast with his movements. He quickly reached into the upper chest pocket of his suit and pulled out a revolver pistol and fires a shot towards Marcus's head. Marcus just barely dodged it; the bullet left a scar across his right cheat.
Manny rushed at Tetsuo. Manny fiercely slashed his claws at Tetsuo wildly but Tetsuo was avoiding all Manny's attack. Manny did a spinning kick. Tetsuo blocks with his right arm and grabs Manny with his left, and hurdles him into a tree, and Manny collided with the tree so hard that a chunk of leaves came falling down from the branch.
Tetsuo turned back to Marcus and as soon as he did Marcus threw a strong right punch that was covered in fire towards Tetsuo's face. Tetsuo leaned his head to the right avoiding it, feeling the immense heat from Marcus's hand; burning a couple of Tetsuo's hair. That's when the two went on a chain of hand to hand combat counters. Marcus threw three quick jabs that aimed at Tetsuo's stomach and chest but Tetsuo blocked them all. Marcus went for a knee to the gut but Tetsuo countered once again. Marcus then sends a flurry of right kicks towards Tetsuo which again, Tetsuo ends up blocking and avoiding. Marcus leaps off the ground and with his left leg covered in fire and raises it up high and brings it down near Tetsuo. Tetsuo backflips away and the fire from Marcus's attack followed after him. Tetsuo leaps up into the air to escape but he turns around to see Manny had ripped up the tree from the ground and swings it at Tetsuo sending him crashing to the ground.
"Ow…" Tetsuo groaned.
Manny tosses the tree away and both Manny and Marcus stared at Tetsuo. Tetsuo gets to his feet, pops his neck and looks over at Manny "That's a first…getting hit by a tree." He chuckled.
"What the hell?" Marcus said staring at Tetsuo with a surprised expression. "How did he survive that? When did Tetsuo get so durable?"
"So…is there anything else you two have to throw at me?" Tetsuo asked with his arms opened.
"YOU CAN HAVE THIS!" Manny shouted as he tossed the whole tree at Tetsuo.
Tetsuo backflips over the tree, lands on his feet, then turns around and sprints towards Manny. Manny was taken off guard by Tetsuo's sudden burst of speed and barely had dodged Tetsuo's powerful right hook that tore through the wind. Then Tetsuo slung his whole arm to the left whacking Manny across the head knocking him to the ground. Manny was dizzy. The impact of that hit was nothing like Manny had ever felt. It was if he was hit by a giant. Tetsuo took advantage of Manny's dizziness and rushed over to him, kicking Manny straight in the ribs and sends him into the air, landing behind Marcus.
"MANNY!" Marcus cried. Marcus quickly looked forward, seeing Tetsuo standing right in front of him. Marcus threw a quick right hook and Tetsuo catches Marcus's hand and clenches down. Marcus twitched in pain; he couldn't get out of Tetsuo's grasp. "Was Tetsuo ever this strong? I've never seen him fight like this!" Marcus said in his head.
"It pains me to see you like this…" Tetsuo whispered. "You've gotten so weak…"
"You goddamn son-of-a-bitch!" Marcus spat.
Tetsuo yanked Marcus forward and gave him a powerful knee to the gut. Marcus coughed up spit and his eyes widen. Marcus fell to his knees and placed both of his hands around his stomach. It was as if Marcus had taken a sledgehammer to the gut at full force.
"RIVERA-TIGER," Manny began. And as soon as Tetsuo looked up he was met with Manny's grappling hook that struck him straight in the face "RIFLE!" Manny roared. Tetsuo was knocked over and was sent rolling across the ground.
"Marcus, are you ok?!" Manny asked hastily
"Argh…damn it…DAMN IT!" Marcus groaned and coughed
Tetsuo slowly gets to his feet and rubs face softly. "You sound like a cry baby Marcus. It's pretty sad." He said placing his eyes back over at the two boys.
"SHUT UP!" Manny snapped. "YOU'RE GOING TO BE THE ONE WHO'S CRYING AFTER I'M DONE WITH YOU!"
"Whoa, little tiger boy is mad. Try to make me cry then." Tetsuo said, forming an ear to ear grin.
Manny growls similar to an actual tiger and sprints over at Tetsuo. Marcus called out to Manny to stop but it was too late. Manny was going to send a flurry of slashes at Tetsuo, but Tetsuo caught both of Manny's claws with his bare hands. Tetsuo clenches down on them, bending them completely. Tetsuo let's go of Manny's right hand with his own, and then distorted light red energy flows around Tetsuo's hand.
"Critical hit Devastator!" Tetsuo shouted as he swung his right hand at Manny directly with the distorted energy wave.
It was as if Manny was hit by a truck. This direct hit was nothing like Manny had ever been hit by before. Manny was sent flying; flying past Marcus and hit collided against a thick tree. Manny was out cold.
"M-Manny…" Marcus winced, "DAMN IT TETSUO!" he roared.
"He was starting to annoy me," Tetsuo said, as she shakes off his right hand. "I'm disappointed in you Marcus. Just what in the world have you been doing all of these years?"
Marcus stayed silent. His rage was beginning to build. He had already had enough of this. He could hear Tetsuo's footsteps as he gets closer to him. He just needed to get a little closer.
"You look so pathetic right now," said Tetsuo, standing in front of Marcus. "Compared to what you use to be, it's a shame that you ended up this-"
Marcus snapped his eyes open and glares up at Tetsuo with his Devil's eyes. Tetsuo looked down at Marcus off guard and he had no time to react to Marcus's sudden quickness. Marcus's right hand was covered in fire and he throws a heavy right hook at Tetsuo punching half of his face off. Tetsuo lets out a cry of pain as he stumbles back with both of his hands covering his face.
"Now…if you don't want me to burn off the rest of your damn body, you'd get the hell out of-"But Marcus was cut off by the sounds of Tetsuo's cries of pain turning into sheer laughter.
Tetsuo removes his hands away from his face. Marcus could see the damage he had done. The whole left side of Tetsuo's face was melted away…but then, it started to come back. The burns were going away, his hair was re-growing, and then his eye was coming back. Tetsuo now looked as if no damage was done to him at all.
"W-What the hell…h-how did you?" Marcus stuttered.
"Wonderful isn't it?" asked Tetsuo "You were asking how I survived that hailstorm of bullets. Well, this is how." He said with open arms.
"What the hell happened to you Tetsuo? How did you…what did you…"
"Well…it was just a simple little parasite that was planted in my body, and thanks to a good old scientist and his obsession with re-growing tissue," Tetsuo said as he softly rubbed the re-grown side of his face.
Marcus was speechless. Then it all came flooding in this head. No matter what he would do to Tetsuo, it wouldn't matter. He was practically immortal.
"Wanna see something else?" Tetsuo asked. He stuck out his arm and pulled up the sleeve to his purple suit. Then, the strings of flesh that was around his arm began to tear apart and morph, till finally, it transformed into a large thick blade. Tetsuo grinned at Marcus's reaction; it was as if his eyes were about to pop out of his head. "Cool huh?" Then the blade transformed once more. Instead of long a long blade, Tetsuo's fingers were morphing into long twelve-inch claws. "These are my favorite surprisingly."
Suddenly Tetsuo dashed forward with great speed and was already in Marcus's face. "These claws are better than your little pet over there."
Tetsuo had slashed Marcus four times across his body.
Marcus let out screams that could've been heard across the city. Marcus then fell flat on the ground twitching in pain as the blood covered the green grass he laid upon.
"My goodness you're so stubborn Marcus…" said Tetsuo, staring down at Marcus who was laid out on the ground covered in scars. Blood was scattered across trees and on the grass. "Just pass on peacefully. Fighting like this is not smart."
Marcus's body was shaking. His vision was blurry and he was breathing heavily.
"This is sad…" said Tetsuo, shaking his head sadly. "You use to be so much stronger and fiercer. Now you're just this bloody mess in front of me."
Marcus slowly, but surely was able to get to his feet; his legs wobbling and blood dripping down to the ground from his arm.
"This is hard to watch," said Tetsuo.
Marcus's eyes glowed red. His Devil's eyes were active. Marcus takes a deep breath and breathes a wave of fire at Tetsuo. Tetsuo held out his arm and his whole hand transformed into a large black shield. The fire connects, and then Tetsuo rushes forward with his shield held high. Tetsuo then shield bashes Marcus knocking him to the ground. Marcus lies up, forms fire around his arm and sends a flaming fire first towards Tetsuo. Tetsuo side steps the fireball and walks towards Marcus slowly. Marcus was crawling back, trying to get away from Tetsuo.
"Are you trying to crawl away from me Marcus?" Tetsuo asked slowly walking towards Marcus.
"I can't win!" Marcus thought. He was panicking out of his mind "There's nothing I can do! I can't beat him!"
"You know...if I didn't know what you were truly capable of…I'd kill you right now and just put you out of your misery," Tetsuo said as he picking Marcus up by his face. Tetsuo bawls up his fist and punches Marcus straight in the stomach. The impact of the punch had knocked Marcus out cold. Tetsuo releases the grip from Marcus's face and let's fall to the ground unconscious. Tetsuo stared down at Marcus for a few seconds before he said: "You can come out now."
"About time…" said a voice that seemed to come out of nowhere. "I thought you were going to kill the boy." Then he appeared from above. He was wearing dark purple robes and a black top hat on his head. He had long brown hair that reached shoulder length and long nose. He carried a staff in hand that had a red crystal on the tip. On the back of his outfit was a symbol of two magician's holding their staffs together. "I was beginning to wonder what was the point of all this," said Jasper

"You can say I was just releasing stress," Tetsuo said as he continued to glare down at Marcus. "I honestly went a bit overboard."
"You think?" said Jasper, as he walked over to Marcus's unconscious body and stood over him. "I'm surprised this kid is still alive."
"Hmm…even if he's weaker he's still durable surprisingly," Tetsuo replied.
"Well, enough small talk," said Jasper as he placed the palm of his right hand over the red crystal. Black and orange static started sparking around the red crystal until it started to swirl and then became an orange ball of energy. "This is The Orb of Discord." Jasper said with a smile "This Orb will corrupt even the purest of hearts along with their minds. They'll be granted with great power as well, but they'll be under my control."
"It looks like we have no choice but to use that," Tetsuo said with a disappointed tone.
Jasper lowered the staff and placed the Orb of Discord above Marcus's chest. The Orb of Discord hovered above Marcus's chest, till it sunk in. Marcus's body twitched and he lets out a loud groan. Orange crack marks appeared around Marcus's, and the orb glowed brightly till it went dim.
"There," said Jasper "As soon as he wakes up he'll be on our side. I'll make sure of that."
"How many of those can you use?" asked Tetsuo, as he stared
"As many as I want," Jasper replied with a grin. "The Orb of Discord is a wonderful dark magic ability…something I tend to try out on myself soon enough."
"Good, I have a couple of ideas on who to use it on this week." Tetsuo nods. "By the way, are you sure that the cameras can't see us?"
"Positive," said Jasper confidently. Do you see this purple fog around us? This completely hides our presence. But we do need to hurry out of here. Abaraxes is probably already suspicious." Jasper then looks over at Manny, who still had his back against the tree he collided with. "What about him?" He asked, staring at Manny.
"Hmm…he wasn't too much trouble," said Tetsuo, deciding on what to do with Manny.
"Hey…what's going on with that kid?"
Tetsuo stared at Manny. Resonating off of Manny's body was a faint green aura. Then, Manny slowly gets to his feet, snaps his eyes open and growled. Tetsuo and jasper stare at Manny in complete shock. Manny then lets out a fierce roar that echoed across the Darkroot Forest. Everyone even from Miracle city heard the echo of Manny's roar.
"Manny?" Frida gasped
"Huh? Hijo?" Rodolfo whispered
Everyone who was inside the Darkroot forest paused to ponder on what they had just heard.
Then, Manny had vanished from both Tetsuo and Jasper sight. That's when Tetsuo suddenly felt a powerful punch that connected to his left cheek. Tetsuo was sent flying, busting through two thick trees. Jasper looked over at Tetsuo who was laid out across the ground. Jasper turned over to see Manny was gone again. Jasper had quickly formed a purple spear around his body to avoid anything hitting him. Manny had a flurry of green fire around both of his hands and had hit the spear just only three times leaving cracks on it.
"What? That's impossible! Normal attacks can't break this spear!" Jasper screamed.
Manny roared and hits the spear one last time completely shattering it. The impact sent Jasper flying, hitting his back against a tree with a thud. Jasper groaned and looked up staring at Manny. Manny was in a tiger-like stance. His whole body was covered in a green cloak of aura, and a green streak of fire was coming from out of his eyes.
"What the hell is that power?!" Jasper said in a panic.
Manny leaped forward but was met with a swift kick in the face by Tetsuo who was able to get back to his feet.
"Well, this certainly is troublesome," said Tetsuo, wiping the corner of his mouth where he got hit. "This was not supposed to be so annoying."
Manny landed on his hands and feet after the kick and shoots a menacing glare at Tetsuo. He growls and starts pacing around as if he was an actual tiger. Tetsuo and Manny had a star down for a couple of seconds. Then Manny's lets out a shout that turned into a shockwave blowing Tetsuo back a couple of feet. Manny pounced forward with his arms out. The claws that bent up by Tetsuo suddenly manifested large green claws of fire and Manny slashed at Tetsuo viciously. Tetsuo had transformed his arm into the black shield he used earlier but Manny had cut through it. Manny arches his arm back and slugs Tetsuo directly in the face, and his head connecting with the ground making a large creator in the ground.
Manny clutched Tetsuo's face tightly around his hand and runs his head through the ground. As soon as he saw a tree coming his way; Manny lifts Tetsuo off the ground and slammed his head against it, and began doing that repeatedly. Tetsuo punched Manny in the gut sending him rolling on the ground. That's when Jasper had finally had decided to step in. Jasper points his staff at Manny and an orange binding of chains had shot out from the red crystal and wrapped around Manny. Manny let out a roar frustration and tried to break free. He was close to breaking free till Tetsuo charged up another attack but before Tetsuo could even have a chance to launch his attack, the green aura around Manny's body began to glow as if he was about to blow. Manny broke free from the chains while letting off a powerful shockwave of green energy that blew back Tetsuo and Jasper. Trees were uprooted and leaves were blasted off the trees that were sent flying from out of the ground.
Dust was covered around the area. Manny was standing in the middle of it all breathing heavily. He looked to the left seeing Jasper coughing on the ground. He looked to the right expecting to see Tetsuo. But he was not there. Manny suddenly felt a strong hand grasped around his neck, he roared and growled as he was held up high into the air.
"Not bad." Tetsuo said, "You really surprised me."
"LET GO OF ME!" Manny said in a deep primal tone.
Tetsuo's right arm went from a subtle hint of white to pitch grey solid structure. Tetsuo hits Manny two times in the stomach, and four times in the upper body. Manny's eyes widen and he blanked out instantly. Tetsuo drops Manny to the ground and his arm went back to normal.
"What a wild one this is…" Tetsuo said, letting out an exhausted sigh.
"DAMN IT ARAGAKI!" Jasper screamed. "YOU SAID THIS WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM!"
"This was also a surprise to me. I didn't expect him to be this strong," said Tetsuo, staring down at Manny.
"Well," said Jasper getting to his feet and walking over to Manny's unconscious body. "He's also perfect for my orb of discord!" he said as he placed his hand over the tip of his staff. Orange static surged around and out came another orb of discord. Jasper placed the Orb of Discord on to Manny's chest. As soon as it touched Manny green aura sparked around his body and the orb of discord had vanished. "WHAT?"
"Very interesting…" Tetsuo said rubbing his chin. "It seems as they he can't be affected by the Orb of Discord."
"THAT'S IT!" Jasper raised his staff ready to impale Manny. But before he could he paused and looked up. The dense purple fog he created was beginning to disappear. "DAMN THIS LUCKY LITTLE BRAT!"
"Shall we?" said Tetsuo
"Yes…but since I can't use the orb of discord…" Jasper points his staff at Manny. Jasper began to mouth out a chant, and symbols appeared out from his staff that circled around Manny's body. Manny's body twitched and jolted, then the aura from his body began flashing off and on till after a couple of seconds. Then finally it stopped.
"What was that?" Tetsuo asked curiously.
"It was a binding seal." Jasper replied "I couldn't send in a controlling type spell…so a binding spell that relies on the victim's mind and body are perfect for him. We don't have to put up with that wild tiger in our plans again."
"Unless he breaks the seal," said Tetsuo
"He won't." Jasper said "He's just a kid. He won't break this spell in a decade. That and Abaraxes wouldn't dare touch my seals…he knows what would happen if he does."
"I'll take your word on it. Now let's go."
As soon as the dense purple fog had lifted. Tetsuo and Jasper were gone. The cameras were back on Manny and Marcus.
"I FOUND THEM!" said a crewmember
"Oh thank goodness!" said Dolton rubbing his head.
"Are they ok?" Rebecca asked anxiously.
"The one on the left looks to be badly wounded…" said William "How much do we have left on the first phase?"
"Just ten minutes," Abaraxes replied.
Manny was the first to move. He opened his eyes and slowly lied up. He winced at the bruises he received from Tetsuo "Ow…" Manny groaned. He looked around and saw Marcus lying across from him. "Oh no…M-Marcus," he slowly gets to his feet and walks over to him. "Marcus, come on speak to me!" he shook him a bit.
"Err…ah…" Marcus winced.
"Oh thank goodness…" Manny sighed in relief. "Come on we got to get out of here and find my dad."
Manny helped Marcus get to his feet. He placed his arm over his shoulder and the two of them began walking. They didn't know where they were at all.
"I hope my dad is close by…" said Manny, hopefully.
"T-Tetsuo…where is he?" asked Marcus, managing to squeeze out a couple of words.
"I don't know, when I woke up it was just the two of us," Manny replied.
"Damn it…" hushed Marcus
"Marcus," Manny said looking at him "How did you know him? Who was that guy?"
Marcus stayed silent
"Come on speak to me. I've never seen you act like that before. Whoever he was this guy is extremely dangerous! I've never fought anyone like him before…"
"I can't…" Marcus whispered "I'm sorry…but I can't..."
"Marcus…"
The two of them would travel through the Darkroot Forest. They were lucky to not run into any creatures that lurked through the forest. The two of them found themselves in the middle of an open field. On the left, was a large entrance that seemed to be covered by vines, and standing in the middle of the field was Manny's father.
"DAD!" Manny called out to him.
Rodolfo turned around and his eyes lit up. "MANNY!" He cried as he ran over to his son. "ARE YOU OK? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU? WHERE DID YOU GO?" He said frantically
"I…I…" Manny didn't know where to begin. He looked over at Marcus who was fading in and out of consciousness "Dad we got to help Marcus! he's hurt really bad!" Marcus was barely even able to stand.
"R-Right! I have all of the stones so we can pass through the exit!" Rodolfo said hastily.
As they were about to go through the other contenders had arrived. Dylan, Lily, Yusuke and Yukari, Leng and her sister Ju, Django, Carmen, Toshiro and the art of earth users.
"They actually made it out?" Dylan said looking over at the three of them. "Tch, barely…"
"So that was the stench of blood we were smelling dad!" Okami said pointing at Marcus.
"Jeez what the heck did they run into that banged them up so badly?" said Roz.
"Oh man…Marcus is really banged up…" said Carmen, worriedly.
Suddenly, bursting out of nowhere was a group of bandits that had belonged to El Oso's gang. That, and they were carrying El Oso on his back, who was covered in vines and tangled up.
"HEY! PUT ME DOWN!" El Oso demanded.
"Y-Yes sir," One of the thugs said as they slowly sat down El Oso. El Oso tears the vines off of his body, takes a deep breath and shouts "HAND OVER ALL THOSE STONES MAN! IM ONLY GOING TO ASK ONCE!"
Everyone was quiet. Dylan let out a chuckle that turned into a laugh. Then he said, "Who is this weirdo again?"
"I SAID HAND THEM OVER!" El Oso roared again.
"I thought he was only going to ask once," said Ju "He doesn't stand by his statements I see…"
Outside the Darkroot Forest. Tetsuo was watching the whole scene from the stadium out of sight. Standing next to him was Jasper, holding his staff.
"Alright…this is perfect," said Jasper "I can make this guy take out all of these problems to our plan right here and now. Once I activate the orb of discord I can go straight into his mind and twist it the way that I want!"
"Let's see the Orb of Discord do its work," said Tetsuo, Intrigued.
Jasper tapped the staff to the ground once, and the red crystal on the top of his staff glowed orange, and so did Jasper's eyes.
The orb of discord on Marcus's chest glowed and Marcus let out a loud cry that caught everyone's attention.
"M-Marcus?" Manny said as Marcus fell to the ground clutching his chest tightly.
"What's going on with that kid? Is he going crazy?" said Christopher
"I guess the Darkroot Forest really messed with that kid mentally," Goliath
Marcus could feel Jasper enter his mind. He could hear Jasper whisper to him in his head. The inside of Marcus's mind was dark, and there was a small candle in the middle of the open space. But, Marcus's Devil Eyes went active. Within Marcus's own mind Jasper could feel a strong, powerful demonic presence. He turned around and saw a figure standing behind him. The figure was seven feet tall with long horns and bright red eyes with different patterned pentagram from Marcus. Jasper's eyes widen with fear. The figure reached forward and grabbed Jasper by the head and clenched down tightly.
Jasper screamed and Tetsuo looked at Jasper perplexed. The whole spell was broken and jasper fell back. He was staring into nothing, sweating and stuttering the words demon.
"What? Demon?" Tetsuo said confused. He then turned back to the screens.
Marcus was still clenching his chest and wobbling around the area. Then Marcus dropped to his knees. Manny and Rodolfo didn't know what to do, and everyone who was around the area was confused as to what was wrong with him. Marcus let out another shout, but this shout was deeper, more monstrous. After that roar, Marcus's skin color changed from a light milk chocolate brown to a light shade of violet. His short low cut hair went from black to bright red. Horns began to appear from Marcus's head. The horns were at least four centimeters. Marcus's whole physic had changed as well. His muscles had grown wider along with his upper-body.
Everyone in the stadium was chattering quietly, watching this scene unfold. Everyone who was at the exit of the Darkroot Forest stared at Marcus, who was breathing heavily.
Marcus looked up, his bright devilish eyes were locked on a random thug.
"Marcus?" Manny said reaching his hand out. But Manny blinked once and Marcus had vanished.
Manny looked to the left, seeing Marcus right behind the thug he had eyed down. In Marcus's hand…was the thug's heart. The thug had placed his hand around the hole in his chest and began breathing. Marcus crushed the thug's heart in his hand, then turns around and shoved his whole hand into the thug's chest. The thug could feel a surge of fire go through his body. The thug let out a screeching cry of pain before an explosion of fire engulfed the spot they were standing at.
Everyone at the stadium gasped and a few people screamed. Marcus stood in the middle of the roaring fire. He turned towards the rest of the contestants with eyes completely widened.
"I don't think so…" Lily whispered as placed her back against some bushes and sunk in, disappearing.
Marcus let out a booming roar and went after the other thugs. With one swipe of his hand, he decapitates one of the bandits, breathes fire on another burning him away to ashes, and grabs one by the foot and repeatedly slamming him to the ground over and over till he couldn't move anymore.
"MARCUS STOP!" Manny cried in horror.
"OH-OH MY GOD!" Carmen screamed as her hand was over her mouth.
Marcus placed his demonic glance on Carmen. Carmen gasped and her eyes widened. Marcus zips over to her and raises his hand.
"NOOO!" Manny shouted.
But Leng intervened. Leng had kicked Marcus straight in the face. But Marcus barely budged from that kick. He slowly turned to face Leng.
"DON'T YOU DARE ATTACK YOUR FRIENDS!" Leng screamed at Marcus.
Marcus was about to attack. But suddenly a glowing green rope wrapped around Marcus's neck and pulled him forward. The green rope belonged to a man or woman, wearing a robe that resembled the marking's on Abaraxes body. Marcus was yanked to the ground, and then four more of these men or woman appeared out of nowhere.
"Begin the binding process!" said one of the men or women dressed up in robes. The voice sounded feminine.
They all clapped their hands together, and a green symbol appeared on the ground where Marcus was laying. Suddenly a spear had appeared around him. Marcus roared and began punching at the spear.
"Begin the draining!" said the female voice again.
"Adhira-we can't! the binding isn't working!"
"WHAT?"
Within the spear, a red glow of energy began swirling around inside. Marcus let out a booming roar that broke trough the spear, followed by a powerful shockwave that blew off the women's hood and she flew back, landing on her feet.
The women's skin was light brown, her hair was long and black. She also had a small mole on the top left of her cheek and a red dot on her forehead.
"What is this kid?" said Adhria Bimala

Marcus stared down Adhria. He walked slowly toward her. But Manny ran forward and stood in front of Marcus. Marcus stopped walking and placed his sinister gave upon Manny.
"Marcus…stop…please…" Manny pleaded sincerely. "Snap out of it! Don't you see what you're doing? You have to fight this!"
Marcus wrapped his hands around Manny's neck. Manny gagged and placed his hands around Marcus's wrist.
"M-Marcus! F-Fight it!"
Marcus clenched down on his teeth. He dropped Manny and stumbled back. He roared and growled. Marcus placed his hands on his head and let out one last roar before he dropped to his knees. Marcus's skin color had returned to normal along with his hair. Marcus then fell forward completely passing out.
The cameras zoomed in Marcus's face. The crowd as screaming and murmuring over what they had just witnessed.
The people in robes used their bindings and wrapped Marcus, securing him tightly.
"Alright, let's take him to the league," Adhria ordered as they levitated Marcus into the air. "All contestants use your stones to open the exit and finish the first phase. If you don't have any stones you are disqualified!" she stated as she and her team levitated off into the air with Marcus.
"W-Wait!" said Manny, but Manny had fell to his knees. His body was exhausted.
"Manny we need to finish the tournament," Rodolfo said helping his son get to his feet.
"B-Bu…But dad…Marcus!" Manny said looking at him. "That wasn't him! Something happened to him! There was this guy with blond hair and a purple suit! They must have done something to him! Dad please you got to believe me!"
"Manny calm down! Don't worry, I do. But we must leave this to them. Whatever happened with Marcus they'll probably be able to help him." Rodolfo reassured him.
Manny gave one more look up to Marcus as they took him out of the Darkroot Forest. All of the contenders including Manny had exited the Darkroot Forest. Tetsuo, who was watching from the Stadium, stared blankly at the big screen.
"Well, that was something I wasn't expecting," Tetsuo said as he rubbed the back of his head. He turned back to Jasper "Are you done freaking out yet?"
Jasper was still shaken up. But he was able to get back to his feet and have somewhat of a clear head. "I've never seen anything like that before…the power…the overwhelming power…" Jasper muttered.
"Humph…" Tetsuo turned back down to the people who were beginning to exit the stadium. On the big screen, they showed all of the contenders that have completed the first phase.

Tetsuo turned away from the stadium and looked out into the view of Miracle city.
"I'm really glad that I came here…things really did turn out interesting…" Tetsuo said as he lets out a dark chuckle.
The first phase is complete. The international fighting tournament continues
