You know, I've been thinking about putting little poems in the begging of my chapter/Episodes, it seems like a pretty fun thing to start off reading, or just say random kawii stuff haha! Or just talk normally like this. Hmmm I don't know. Anyway! Enjoy!

Episode 14! – Leng and Carmen's Round! The Gauntlet challenge!

Everyone was still at the meet area waiting for the next challenge. Manny and Marcus were recovering from their early fight. Rodolfo and Ryu walked in and went over Manny, Frida and Marcus.

"How are you all holding up?" Ryu asked.

"Still in one piece, thank god" Marcus said lying down on the floor relaxing.

"Yeah, but still" Manny said lying across the bench. "EL Mal Verde, And Giant Robot Sanchez, they were different"

"Do you think…it's that Tetsuo guy? Messing with our challenges?" Frida said looking at Manny.

Marcus opens his eyes and stairs at the ceiling. "If so, no one else fights him but me" Marcus said closing his eyes.

"You can't do everything on your own Marcus" Rodolfo said looking at him.

"That's final" Marcus said turning his body away from everyone.

"UGH! You're so stubborn Marcus!" Frida shouted.

Marcus just kept silent and relaxed.

Carmen and Leng walked over to them with bags of food.

"Hey guys!" Carmen said waving to them.

"OH! Hey Carmen! Sup?" Frida said smiling.

"What's that you got in the bags?" Manny asked.

"We took the liberty of cooking some food for you all! You guys have to be hungry from all that fighting! So we cooked you something!" Carmen said smiling widely. "Well, leng cooked it all, heh heh"

"Please enjoy!" Leng said giving them the bags of food and bowing.

Manny, Frida and Marcus took the food and their eyes widen seeing all the well cooked food and tasty Chinese food that was in side.

"Whoa! Leng you really cooked all this?" Marcus said looking at him.

Leng looks at him and smiles. "Yes I did! Do you like it?" Leng asked

The three then ate the food that Leng cooked. Their eyes then went to puppy dog like eyes and swallowed the food.

"Soooooooo Gooooood" The three of them said as they started to eat quickly.

"Thank you! I am very happy that you enjoyed it!" Leng said bowing and smiling.

Carmen chuckles and giggles watching them eat.

Rodolfo smiles watching them eat when Ryu tapped him on his shoulder. Rodolfo turns around and looks at him.

"Something wrong Ryumaru?" Rodolfo asked.

"Yes, may I speak to you alone?" Ryu asked.

"Sure" Rodolfo responded as they left the meeting room.

They stood out in the hall by the entrance of the meeting room and closed the door.

"I think the three of them are right, about Tetsuo" Ryu said leaning on the wall.

Rodolfo quickly turns his head to them. "T-Tetsuo?!" he said in shock.

"Yes, in the Darkroot forest, Manny, Frida, and Marcus were attacked by him and were nearly killed; he also placed dark hado energy in Marcus chest"

Rodolfo looks at Ryu in Shock then rubs his head. "So, he's really back is he? But for what reason?" Rodolfo asked himself.

"Well, he seems to be targeting Marcus, and there's a lot about him that's changed" Ryu said looking at Rodolfo.

"What do you mean?"

"Marcus informed us that Tetsuo over the years has been sacrificing humans in a ritual to make himself "Perfect" and now he's become even stronger"

"How could he…that's sick and cruel!" Rodolfo said clinching his fist.

"And, as it seems that he might be interfering with the tournament, or who knows what he's doing" Ryu said with his arms crossed.

"Will have to keep a close watch on this tournament" Rodolfo said opening the door slightly looking at Manny, Marcus and Frida. "We can't let anything happen to them"

"And we have to do something about that hado mark on Marcus chest" Ryu said looking at Marcus.

"Yes, but he hasn't shown any signs of changes" Rodolfo said rubbing his chin. "I guess we have to wait and see, I'll get the agents that work in Miracle city, and you stay with Manny, Frida and Marcus"

"Right, you can count on me sir" Ryu said looking at him. Rodolfo then heads out the building.

Ryu walks through the doors to the meet area and goes over to the group.

Manny turns his head over to Ryu. "Hey coach, where did my dad go?" Manny asked.

"Oh, he had some stuff to take care of, he'll be back soon" Ryu responded.

"Man your dads been pretty busy lately" Frida said eating some shrimp.

"Is he always this busy?" Marcus asked with his mouth full.

"Well not really, well I don't think he is?"

"OH! Thanks for the food Leng!" Frida said smiling at him.

"YEAH THIS WAS AMAZING!" Marcus said smiling.

"You can really cook!" Manny said finishing his food.

"Thank you, Thank you; I'm all glad that you enjoyed the food!" Leng said bowing again.

"Where did you learn to cook like this anyway?" Carmen asked.

"My mother always made sure to teach me the ways of cooking, making sure that on any journey I go on I would be able to cook for myself" Leng said remembering those days.

"Wow, that's really neat" Frida said giggling.

The alarm of the building went off for the next group to fight in the second part of the tournament.

"Well theirs the alarm, we should all get going" Frida said standing up and stretching.

"I wonder whose fighting next" Manny thought as they all headed down to the room where the huge TV was.

Soon everyone else arrived in the room and turned their attentions to the huge TV screen. The TV then started glowing and the names of everyone that are in the room started to shuffle.

"Come on! Let it be me!" Okami shouted

"You want to go next?" Zoe said looking at him with her arms crossed

"I'm bored as shit! Hell yeah I want to go next!"

The screen stops showing Leng and Carmen.

"OH MAN! HAHA! HERE WE GO!" Carmen shouted excited

"FINALLY IT'S MY TIME TO SHOW MY STRENGTH!" Leng said with fire in his eyes.

"Please enter the battle arena for your challenge" The women on the loud speaker said.

"Good luck Leng and Carmen!" Frida said smiling.

"Thanks! You ready to do this leng?" Carmen said looking at him.

"LET'S GO!" Leng shouted as he ran fast into the battle arena.

"HEY WAIT UP IDIOT!" Carmen said running in following him.

"Hmm…the last time I saw Lengs strength when we were in the desert" Marcus said in his head. "Let's see how you're full strength is Leng"

Leng and Carmen arrived at the battle arena. It was completely different from the one Manny and Marcus was in, there were multiple doors all around them.

"Huh? So do we pick a door or something?" Carmen wondered looking around at the doors.

One of the huge TVs appears in the room and the shuffles the challenges, as it shuffles it finally stops and the name of the challenge glows on the TV.

"The Gauntlet Challenge?" Carmen whispered to herself.

"A gauntlet challenge! NO PROBLEM!" Leng said as he got in a Wing Chung stance

All of the doors around the arena slowly opened, out of the doors came bandits, but the bandits skin were purple, and their eyes were glowing bright red.

"Huh? What the hell is up with these guys?" Carmen said as she took out her silver pole.

Everyone in the meeting room was watching from the huge TV room.

"Hey, those guys look just like Giant Robot Sanchez and EL Mal Verde!" Manny said pointing at the screen.

"You right! What the hell is going on?" Marcus said glaring at the TV.

Leng and Carmen stood back to back as they were getting surrounded by the demon bandits.

"I don't know what's going on, but we can't let these weirdoes's take us down, and we sure as hell can't lose!" Camren said as she was preparing to attack.

"You can count on me!" Leng shouted as one of the Demon bandits rushed at Leng at full speed and swinging his axe at Leng, the tip of his axe was at the tip of Lengs forehead; suddenly Leng smacked away the axe shattering the metal part into pieces.

Leng the unleashed a flurry of punches and to the demon bandits face and through one last punch at the demon bandits face, a bone breaking sound was heard coming from the demon bandit as he collapses on the ground and starts twitching widely.

"Whoa…sick…" Carmen said smiling at Leng. Carmen turns to the other direction seeing a three bandits running at her, she clinches her pole as the pole suddenly turns into a huge club and swings it at one of the bandits it to the metal wall nearly busting through it.

her pole then turns into too duel pipe like weapons and smacks the other bandit in the head cracking its skull and smacking the other demon bandit in the leg busting his knee busting its bone and her pole turns back to normal and she smacks him in the ribs area sending the demon bandit up into the ceiling.

"HIYAAA!" Leng shouted as he sends more punches and kicks to three then to five bandits breaking their arms and legs. He grabs one of the bandits legs and raises It high in the air and kicks his left leg making the bandits left leg collapse to the bandits body weight and his whole left leg breaks.

Leng then kicks the bandit away sending him hurdling into a metal wall.

"Holy crap…those two are awesome!" Manny shouted getting excited. "It's like watching a kung fu movie!"

"I know right!" Frida said as she couldn't take her eyes off the TV screen watching Leng and Carmen.

"I never seen someone master Wing Chung like this before, at that age too? Amazing" Marcus said smiling watching Leng.

"These guys are brutal, freaking badass! That Carmen girl is sexy when she's kicking ass!" Okami said as his tail started waging.

Toshiro just nods and smiles "just what I expected from such a skilled fighter like Leng" Toshiro said watching.

"Tsk…whatever" Zoe said remembering the time she got hit in the head by Carmens pole.

Leng and Carmen takes deep breath as every bandit they fought were defeated. They look around and see no other enemy's were standing or moving at all.

"So is that it? Didn't seem like much of a gauntlet if you ask me" Carmen said leaning on her pole.

"I'm not sure" Leng said as he got back on guard. A huge door behind them opened, they turned around quickly, on the top on the door read the flashing letters "Precede on"

Leng and Carmen looked at each other as they proceeded on to the next area.

The area the both went into was another different one; there were multiple holes on the ground in different spots. And the doors were bigger then the last area.

"This looks interesting" Carmen said looking around. "And I assume that those doors are going to bring out the heavy artillery?"

"AH! THERE GOING TO SHOOT AT US?!" Leng shouted terrified.

"No leng is just a saying!"

"Oh dear lord!"

The area around them then started to shake, the huge doors opened to creatures with grey fur and 2 heads with glowing yellow eyes. Carmen and Lengs eyes widened seeing the creatures.

Marcus eyes widen also, having flash backs of his fight with Tetsuo. He remembers seeing creatures the ones Tetsuo made in his lab.

"What the hell are those things?!" Manny shouted in shock.

"Their horrible!" Frida said looking at them on the TV screen.

"Chimeras" Marcus whispered.

Manny turns around and looks at Marcus. "Huh?"

"The forms of turning human or animal into a have Beast have Man, Chimera"

"So that's what those things are?" Frida said looking at Marcus.

"Yeah…and only person I know that can do that is…" Marcus clinched his fist and pictures Tetsuos face in his head.

"Him?"

Marcus looks at Frida and then looks at the screen.

Leng jumps back and back flips away the creatures speed was unbelievable, the creature swings his large paw at Leng, Leng ducks and dodges the creature's attacks and sends three lethal blows at the creature's heads but showed no sign of pain or fear.

Carmen spins her staff around blocking and dodging the chimera's attacks, she steps back and jumps high and spins her body around along with her staff and smacks both of the Chimera's head with impacted, the Chimera shows no sign of pain.

"What the hell is up with these things?!" Carmen shouted in frustration as the chimera swings it spiked tail at Carmen but she dodges and jumps back and leng does the same as they were both back to back again.

"Calm yourself Carmen, showing frustration in battle will result in defeat" Leng said as he takes deep breaths.

"Yeah yeah whatever patience is a virtue" Carmen said as he snaps her staff in have as it transforms into huge spiked clubs. "I'll show these dumbass monsters whose boss!"

Carmen rushes at the Chimera at full speed and leaps over it, she lands behind it and takes both the spiked clubs and swings them below the chimeras legs making it fall to the ground.

Carmen leaps into the air doing a front flip, she then jets down dropping both spiked club bats on the chimeras stomach making blood come out its noses and mouths.

Leng ducks the chimeras punch and then hits the pressure points off the chimera's body, the chimera for moment was stunned but Leng took advantage of the those short moments and hits the chimera in the jaw and sends blows of punches and kicks to the body. The chimera then started coughing up blood and the sound of its bones breaking was heard.

Leng the sends an uppercut to the chimera and sends him into the air. Carmen turns around and sees the chimera was about to land on her and smirks.

"Hey batter batter! Hey Batter!" Carmen kept repeating "SWING!" Carmen swings the spiked club at the Chimera with full force nearly breaking the chimera's body in have as blood appeared out its back and drops to the ground.

"HOOOOME RUUUUN!" Carmen shouted running across the field in circles.

"Carmen what are you doing?" Leng asked.

"BASE BALL! WHAT ELSE?"

The next door opened in front of them.

"Another?" Leng said looking at Carmen.

"Hopefully it's the last" Carmen said yawning putting the staff behind her back.

They both then head into the room, the doors close behind them. There weren't any multiple doors like the last rooms, it was quite empty.

"Huh? Is this supposed to be some kind of joke?" Carmen said bagging the bottom of her staff in the floor.

"Where is everything?" Leng said looking around and walking around.

Smoke then appeared out from the ground to the left and to the right. Out of the smoke came a full sliver body human like figures, they had no face, no ears, or noses.

"Ummm…well that looks…kind of creepy" Carmen said as she just stared at the no face figure.

"This is very weird" Leng also just stared at the no face figure.

Then, the no faced figure on lengs end got in a Wing Chung Stance. Leng was shocked as he stared at the no face figure.

The no face figure on Carmen's end made a staff come out the ground and got in a fighting stance and pointed the staff at her.

"You got to be freaking kidding me…" Carmen said glaring at the no face figure.

"Mimics huh?" Ryu said watching the fight.

"Huh?" Manny said looking up at Ryu wondering what he meant.

"Mimics are just enemy's that copy ones fighting style, obviously they must have been watching Leng and Carmen this whole time, Watching and Studying their fighting Styles, Maybe even weaknesses"

The mimic that is copying Carmen's fighting style rushed at her quickly, it spins the staff around swing hits at her three times, Carmen blocks the three hits with her staff and lowers her staff going for a leg sweep but he mimic jumps and spins around smacking the staff across Carmen's forehead leaving a scar then it kicks her in the stomach sending her rolling.

She stops rolling and quickly gets to her feat; blood poured down her face and started dripping across the floor widely.

"Fucking piece of shit, you're going to pay for that" Carmen shouted as he snaps her staff in tow and the morphed into tow daggers. The mimic looks at Carmen as it snaps its staff in two and does the same.

"W-What?! Are you screwing with me?! DAMN IT!" Carmen shouted she charges at the mimic, the mimic does the same as there blades collide at the same time.

Leng as his Mimic were having a brutal and fierce fight, Leng throws three powerful punches, the Mimic blocks the punches and Leg sweeps Leng off his feet making him fall, Leng catches his balance by popping his body off the ground and sends fury of kicks and punches.

The Mimic blocks his kicks and grabs Lengs leg and spins him around and slams him into a metal wall. Leng shouts in pain and the Mimic pins him to the wall and sends fury of punches at Lengs chest, stomach and face, one punch was so hard it made a scar across lengs fore head as if someone took a knife and cut his head.

Leng falls to the ground dizzy and dazed by the punches, the Mimic hops back and waits for Leng to get his feet and gets in a Wing Chung stance again.

"T…This was tougher then I thought; now I know how my opponent feels…" Leng said as he wipes the blood off his face with his sleeve. "So…you copy all my moves and fighting style? Am I correct?"

Leng glares at the Mimic as he puts his hands together and takes deep breaths. "Master, this is the moment I've been waiting for, to test my true ability's"

Carmen looks over at Leng and raises an eyebrow. "That could be the only way to beat these annoying as things" Carmen said as she put her staff back into place.

Leng closes his eyes as he imagines himself in the training area of his home, he feels the warm breeze of the summer wind hit his body, the chirping of the birds.

"Release restraint…LEVEL 1!" Leng shouted as a huge creator formed around, veins appeared around his head as he instant dashed in front of the Mimic and viciously uppercut the Mimic on the jaw nearly breaking the Mimics neck.

He then dashes in the air kicking the Mimic in the back of the neck, he dashes again in full speed and punches it in the stomach making a huge hole in its stomach and sends fury of combos at it.

"FINAL BLOW!" Leng shouted as he punched the Mimic in the face sending him to the ceiling and out the entire arena. Leng starts to breathe hard as his restraint cools down and he falls to his knees and collapse to the ground.

Everyone who was watching the fight jaws nearly dropped.

"Holy crap…" Manny said in disbelief

"That speed…I couldn't even see him move…" Marcus said with his eyes widen.

"I never knew he was…so strong" Frida said as he her eyes were glued to the TV.

"Leng!" Carmen shouted as her Mimic kept attacking her. "CRAP! THAT'S IT!" Carmen shouted as she started getting more aggressive and attacking harder. Carmen then crushes her staff in her hand and balls it up.

The Mimic just stared at her getting in a fighting stance.

"Oh? Didn't read this move huh? Well here take a look" Carmen said as he tosses the ball to the Mimic.

The Mimic catches it and observes it. The ball starts to vibrate harshly and spikes shoot out the ball piercing the Mimics entire face. The Mimic the collapse to the ground and the ball comes out of his head and Carmen goes over to it and picks it up as she giggles.

"Should have done that to begin with" Carmen said as she goes over Leng and looks at him. "Leng! Are you ok?!"

Leng twitches a little and clinchés his fist. "I-"I'm fine…it was first time using that move…and it just hurts my body that's all…" Leng said as he tried to move but couldn't.

Tetsuo looks at both Leng and Carmen as his eyes twitches. "It…looks like I underestimated these tow, and my experiments were…well a somewhat sweet and sour success" Tetsuo said grinning as he rubs his chin.

"But oh well, there's always my other experiment" Tetsuo steps on a platform and goes out to Carmen and Leng.

"Congratulations! LENG AND CARMEN! YOU ALL HAVE WON THE GAUNTLET CHALLENGE! AN OUTSTANDING VICTORY!"

Carmen picks up Leng as they head back into the meet area; they walk through the doors and Carmen Lays leng across one of the soft. Manny, Marcus and Frida go over to them and looks at Leng.

"Is he ok?" Frida asked looking at him.

"He's fine, he just needs time to rest, he really used up a lot of energy" Carmen said looking at Leng.

"You tow were amazing!" Manny said smiling at Carmen. Carmen looks at the three of them and smiles widely. "Thanks, it was freaking crazy" Carmen said as she lies back on one of the soft benches.

Marcus looks down and thinks about the Chimeras he saw in the arena.

"There's no doubt about it…he's here…somewhere" Marcus whispered.

Ryu looks at Marcus. "Something wrong?" Ryu asked.

Marcus looks at Ryu and shakes his head no. "Everything fine, just a little worried about leng is all" Marcus lied.

Ryu knew what Marcus was thinking, he knew that he was thinking about Tetsuo. And also deep down, he was thinking about the hado Mark placed on his chest.

Tetsuo taps his chin with his finger just staring at Marcus with a grin on his face. he then sits on his desk and starts chuckling insanely and puts his hand on his forehead.

"Oh Marcus, you just don't know what you have, you just don't know the power you now poses, and I'm going to see it in action, oh indeed I will" Tetsuo said as he reaches in his gym bag and pulls out another piece of the dark hado.

He then shifts his eyes over to EL oso who was in the background picking his nose.

"And I know just how to test it"

I really enjoyed making this episode! Leng is just so fun to write! Same goes for Carmen! Just so exciting! Anyway! I hoped you enjoyed this Episode/Chapter and stay tuned for the next EL Tigre The New adventures!
