Episode 22 – Aftermath
3 weeks after Tetsuo's attack
Miracle city was at a slow, but steady recover, many citizens had pitched in to help rebuild homes and clean around the town. Many were still recovering mentally after the lives and loved ones that were lost in the attack. Flowers were placed at an area in the middle of Miracle city to all the lives at were lost. But, even at dark times like this. The people of Miracle city kept their strength, and courage strong.
Frida walked down the hospital hallways with flowers in her hand, she has bandage across her head healing the cut across her head. She sees that the windows that were broken from the shockwave were repaired with new placed glass.
She sees Ryu who was leaning on the wall with his arms crossed and not wearing his mask today.
"Hey coach" Frida said softly.
Ryu opened his eyes and looks at Frida "oh, hello Frida, how are you?" he asked.
"I'm just fine, how are they?"
"There still asleep, I thought within a few days that they would be up and running around"
"May I go in?"
"Ofcorse Frida"
Frida puts her hand on the door knob and gently opens the door, she sees Manny who was sitting in the bed next to window and Marcus was sitting in the bed to the left.
Frida walks over to the table that had vase that has dead flowers in it, she takes them out and replaces them with new ones she has.
Frida looks at Manny and Marcus who were covered in bandages on their wounds.
Frida sets her eyes on Manny, who was sleeping peacefully in his bed with the sun lighting shining on him. She softly glides her fingers through his hair with a soft smile across her face.
Her facial expression quickly changed when she felt a feeling rubbing below her, she closed her eyes clinching her fight tightly to the point a vain appeared.
"Hello nurse" Marcus said with eyes closed and a smile across his face rubbing Fridas butt.
"YOU…" Frida said with anger as she turned around punching him hard making the entire bed shake and room shake.
"HEY. WHOA!" Manny said waking up looking around quickly, he sees Frida standing there with her fist balled up and steam coming out of Marcus head.
"Come on Frida…you would harm an injured Man…how cruel of you" Marcus said lying on the ground.
"If it's an idiot like you then there's nothing wrong with it" Frida said crossing her arms looking away.
Manny laughs groaning a little holding his stomach, he looks around outside seeing people carrying wood and supplies.
"How long were we asleep?" Manny asked.
"Well…for 3 week" Frida responded.
"3 WEEKS?!" Manny and Marcus said shocked.
"Well, when you guys came to pick me up, you were so badly injured I can't believe you both even had enough strength to help me get back to Miracle city. You both collapsed the minute we reached town"
"Wait! What happened with Tetsuo!? Where is he?!" Marcus asked.
"He's gone" Ryu said coming in the room "Rodolfo defeated Tetsuo and the rest of us defeated his followers, but in the end the Tetsuo and Diego got away"
"Got away…yeah…I expected him to tuck his tail and run like a little bitch" Marcus said lying back down in his bed.
"So Diego's siding along with Tetsuo…to be honest I never thought he would go that far" Manny said looking out the window. "Wait, How's my dad doing?!"
"Everyone is doing fine, most of the heroes are helping out with the city" Ryu answered.
"I see…that's good…" Manny said sighing in relief.
"You all did a good job; I can tell by your scars that you both fought with your all"
Marcus chuckles "heh, ofcorse I did, I mean come on, Manny was so scared I had to do something" he said smirking.
"WHAT?! HEY I WAS THE ONE THAT HAD TO FIGHT AN ARMY WHILE YOU WERE KNOCKED OUT!" Manny shouted.
"OH PLEASE! I HAD TO SAVE YOU"RE ASS MORE TIMES THEN I CAN COUNT!" Marcus yelled.
"YOU WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?!"
"BRING IT ON!"
Manny and Marcus then started groaning holding their wounds as they were about to hop out their beds.
"You tow are hopeless" Frida said shaking her head.
"SUP GUYS!" Carmen said popping her head at the door, along with her was leng and toshiro.
"Hey Carmen!" Frida said smiling.
"CARMEN! Did you come all this way here to see little old me! Oh how kind of you!" Marcus said with hearts in his eyes.
"uhhh, yeah something like that" Carmen said chuckling rubbing the back of her head "you all seem to be doing ok"
"Ofcorse they are! Warriors that fight life threating battles and come back to tell that tail always are 100%" Leng said.
"OH! And here you all are, after your long fights I thought that I would bake you all a cake!" Toshiro said putting the chocolate cake on Marcus bed.
Manny and Marcus started drooling like crazy seeing the chocolate goodness in front of their eyes.
"Oh yeah, you guys haven't really eaten all that much have you" Carmen said putting her finger on her chin.
Manny and Marcus ate the cake like wild animals getting chocolate all over everyone
"HEY GUYS CALM DOWN! JEEZ!" Frida said covering herself.
Manny and Marcus looked at Frida and everyone who was covered in chocolate cake.
"Do…you all want any?" Manny asked.
Everyone shook their heads while whipping off the chocolate frosting.
"Heh, sorry" Marcus said chuckling and whipping cake from his mouth.
In Miracle city
Seventh samurai sat on top of hill where he can get a good view of Miracle city. He takes 3 deep breaths and rubs his shoulders working out some kinks that were bothering him.
"How are you seventh samurai?" Cleopatra asked coming over to him and stands next to him.
"Hmm, I'm fine, I'm healing well" he responded.
"It sounds like something's bothering you, Miracle city is saved, and the rebuilding is going well and fast"
"It's just…I wish the casualties were low…"
Cleopatra lightly crossed her arms and sighed "yes. I do to wish that many didn't suffer in this attack, but sadly, stuff like this happens, casualties when cities are under attack happens, it's a cold and harsh truth, but it will happen"
Seventh Samurai closes his eyes "yes, I know…" he said in a sad tone.
Cleopatra looks down at him and puts her hand on his shoulder "its tough being hero, but you're never alone to bare the pain" she said softly with a smile.
Seventh samurai looks up at her and forms a smile across his face.
"Thank you…" seventh samurai said softly.
Elsewhere
Emiliano was in his office writing reports on the attack that happened on Tetsuo's attack. He looks through files trying to find more information on Tetsuo.
"Hmm, there have to be somewhere here" Emiliano whispered. He looks through the T section in the documents and finally finds his name. He takes it out and opens it taking out the papers a reads through them.
"Tetsuo aragaki, mass murder throughout the city of las Angeles, New York, Washington D.C, japan, and Arkansas, he has committed multiple crimes of kidnapping, human experimentation, sacrificial acts, and homicide, he was taken and arrested in December of 2001, to Black water max security prison, the most lethal and most cruelest prison that ever existed, and was held there for 3 years int'll his escape, his escape from black water was the most shocking escape in history, to this date, his whereabouts are unknown"
Emiliano takes the papers and puts them back in the folder and lies back in his chair.
"Just what the hell is this monster after?"

"Hmm, Tetsuo aragaki, ambushes Miracle city, leaving it in ruins, rebuilding is slow, but steady" the man said wearing an American flag cape, with white pants and brown hair.

Occupation: Leader of the world government.
"He's a troublesome one; he really did a number on miracle city" the blond hair women said wear a silk white fur coat, sky blue eyes, with a red dress carrying a claymore.

Age: 23
Skill: Worlds best female swordsmen
Occupation: vice president of the world government
"Yes he did, but eldest miracle city's hero's fended him off, and now he's in hiding again, and while he's at his weakest, damn" William said tossing away the news paper.
"But what was he doing at Miracle city in the first place?" Rebecca said looking out the window of the room.
"He's up to something…we just need to find out what…"
"AHAHA! Oh who cares what he's after, and who cares about Miracle city, it's just waste of space of a city" Christopher Anderson said coming from down the hallway, wearing a dark pink coat, his hair was also pink, along with pink pants and long pink shoes.
[Christopher Anderson]

"I mean come on! How hard is it to kill that crazy bastard anyway?!"
Rebecca sends a sharp glare at Christopher.
"It's not that easy Anderson, Tetsuo isn't a walk in the park like the others you've faced" William said.
"Oh please! Look what happened to him at Miracle city, he got his stupid assed whipped"
William just looked at Anderson in frustration clinching his hands.
"ahaha! Oh man, it's always interesting with you around Anderson!" a tall man carrying a great sword on his shoulders with a large black beard, every time he walked objects around the room jumped.

"AH! Goliath my man! How are you doing, big guy?!" Christopher said smiling widely.
"Always good, it's also good to see after almost a year we are having a meeting, I suspect that it's about what happened to Miracle city?"
"Indeed, we also have even bigger problems ahead of us as well, but we will talk about that later" William said pulling out some papers.
"As I said will, Tetsuo is no problem at all, I can take care of him anytime" Anderson said sitting on top of a dresser laying back.
"you were the one who was put in charge of taking Tetsuo in custody to begin with, yet you have ass that like you do everything else" Rebecca said with anger in her voice.
Christopher looks at Rebecca with grin across his face "well yeah I know that, but I'm just waiting for a good opportunity to come up, you know like how I took care of Marlon and chio back at Mob town" he said chuckling.
"Or, you're just lazy no good useless man whose nothing more than a coward"
Anderson glares at Rebecca and then forms an angry grin "you know, I kind of wish that I lived back in the old days, you know, when hoes like Rebecca knew there place" he said with anger in his voice.
Rebecca takes out her sword and hopes over the table dashing at Anderson swinging her sword, Anderson quickly moves out the way, Rebecca's sword slices through the dresser that Anderson was sitting at and cuts through It and the ground under it.
"Ahaha! Did I hit a nerve?!" Anderson taunted.
"Oh boy…" Goliath said rubbing his forehead.
A vein forms across Williams head and grits his teeth in stress.
"You're nothing more than a joke Anderson, once a thug always a thug!" Rebecca said gripping her sword.
"Me a joke huh? Look at you, "world's best female swordsmen" my ass, you couldn't even get a scratch on me" Anderson said laughing.
As soon as he was laughing parts of Anderson jacket was cut, small strands of Andersons hair fell down, and a small cut formed on Anderson cheek.
Rebecca forms a smile across her face.
"You were saying?" she said putting her sword away.
"You damn bitch…"
"Anderson…Rebecca…Enough" William said with more than one vein across his forehead. William opens his right eye intensely, the entire building started to rumble.
Cracks and windows started to shatter and cracks formed around the floors.
Anderson and Rebecca started to sweat in hesitation.
"Yes sir…" Rebecca said going to the table taking her seat.
Anderson stood their looking at William clinching his fist and teeth.
William took deep breaths and looked down at the papers he took out the desk.
"Not to mention, there hasn't been a single sighting of him, it's been 8 years since then, and yet this man hasn't even made a move, but…" William said picking up one paper and reading it.
"Do you mean what happened to that boy's family?" Goliath said crossing his arms.
"Yes, we need to be on high alert of him…we can't let history repeat its self"
"Whatever happened to the boy?" Rebecca asked.
"he left the foster home, a day after he arrived, and he hasn't been seen ever since, people say that he's dead, but I don't believe it" William responded.
"What's the kids name anyway?" Anderson asked.
"His name is Marcus Dupree; he was only 8 years old when his family was killed"
"What did the killer do?" Rebecca asked.
"The killer only took the mother and fathers eyes" William responded.
"The eyes? Why the hell did he only want his eyes?" Anderson said in a disgusted tone.
"We don't know, Marcus gave a description of the killer, he said he was a tall grey and black figure with big red eyes, that's all he said…"
Everyone in the room was in silence, William takes the papers and puts them back in his desk and sighed.
"Sir?" Rebecca said in concerned tone.
"I feel, as if something big is going to happen…and it's nothing good" William said turning around in his seat looking out the window.
Back at Miracle city
Manny was lying down in bed with his eyes closed relaxing. Marcus however, wasn't, all he did was stare at the top of the ceiling with both his hands behind his head.
He didn't blink; he was in a deep daze. And then slowly he closed his eyes.
[Flashback]
[Marcus, age 12]
He sat in sun flower field, his skin was pale, and his eyes had black sacks under it due to lack of sleep, his eyes were red, he carried a sword that he always gripped tightly.
He heard the sound of footsteps going through grass.
He gets to his feet quickly turning around about to draw his sword. He sees a blond haired girl in a red dress, with a warm smile.
"It's ok, it's just me" she said walking to him.
Marcus stayed quiet; he took his hands away from his sword and sat back down on the ground.
She sat down next to him; she looked up seeing that there wasn't a single cloud in the sky.
"It's a beautiful day isn't it?" she asked.
Marcus just turned her head to her and looked at her.
"I always love to come out to the sunflower field on days like this, when the weather is just right"
Marcus looked out to the sunflower field, he sees the wind blow carefully, seeing the sun flowers dance to the wind.
"Do you know why I love sun flowers so much?" she asked.
Marcus turned his attention to her.
"because" she gets to her feet and goes over to a sunflower and picks it "sun flowers show hope, and life, they are full of light and happiness "she then turns around walks back over to Marcus and hands him the sun flower.
Marcus examines the sun flower, seeing the bright yellow colors around the pedals.
He looks up, seeing the girl give a warm smile to Marcus, her blond hair and red dress blowing in the wind peacefully, the warm and relaxing air hitting their skin.
Then, Marcus gives a warm smile back to her.
[End of flashback]
Marcus opens his eyes, he puts his hand on the pink pearl necklace and lies up, and he takes a deep breath and hopes out of bed.
He looks at his hand, he thinks back to the fight with Django, he felt as if, he wasn't doing anything, he felt as his he didn't do his part right.
He clinches his hand tightly.
Marcus opens the cabinet that was in the room, seeing his clothes were hanging on the close rack.
Manny slowly opens his eyes seeing Marcus getting his clothes.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Manny asked.
Marcus turns around and looks at Manny "what's it look like I'm doing, I'm going to get dressed" he responded.
"Aren't you still injured?"
"I'm just fine jeez"
Marcus goes to the bathroom to get dressed.
He comes out fully dressed and heads for the door.
"Hey, are you alright?" Manny concerned.
Marcus stops as his hand was on the door knob, he gives a small smile and chuckles.
"I'm just fine, just going for walk that's all, I just need to do some thinking" Marcus said opening the door and leaving the room.
Marcus walked down the hallway, he looks out the window seeing the city, people all over the place rebuilding buildings and fixing areas around the city.
He walks out the hospital building and heads down the road.
People were walking by holding supplies and people driving construction vehicles, people cleaning the streets.
A smile comes across Marcus face, seeing Miracle city doing all they can to rebuild.
Marcus stops walking, seeing the house that he rented when he arrived at Miracle city.
"Wow, I can't believe that this house is still here" Marcus said unlocking the door and going in.
He goes upstairs to his room and opens the closet door. He takes out a case that has a lock on it; he grabs the key putting it in the keyhole and unlocking the case.
In the case, was sword, a long katana that had a golden hilt, he took the sword out the case and took it out the scabbard.
He griped the sword tightly, he closes his eyes, thinking back to times he used the sword, the times that he himself was once a weapon, a weapon to spill blood.
