Episode 23! – Departure! Int'll we meet again!
Manny yawned as he woken up from his nap in the hospital bed, he looked out the window seeing the morning sky and hearing the sounds of the birds chirping. He lies up from his bed moving his arms around seeing if they were still sore.
He felt no sharp pain at all. He got up from the bed and moved his upper body seeing his any parts were still sore. He moves his body left and right stretching working out kinks.
Frida knocks on the door and comes in "hey Manny" she said with a smile.
"Hey frida!" Manny said turning around to her with a smile.
She around not seeing Marcus anywhere "hey, where did Marcus go?" she asked.
"He said he was going for a walk, I don't know if he's coming back to the hospital or not"
"Ugh, he really knows how to get on people's nerves, seriously he can't leave the hospital till the doctors say's he can, and what if he's still hurt!
"Nah I'm pretty sure he's ok" Manny said getting his clothes.
"Hey Manny" Frida said.
"Yeah?" Manny said turning to frida while putting his shirt on.
"What do you know about Marcus anyway?"
Manny looked up at the ceiling thinking.
"I mean, we've been hanging out and working with Marcus for a while, and I don't know much about him" Frida said putting her finger on her chin.
"Well, I do remember him telling me one time that he was an orphan" Manny said.
Frida looked at Manny with a shocked expression "A-an orphan?" she said.
"Yeah, well…his parents are dead" Manny responded.
"D-dead?!"
"I don't really know what happened, that's really all he told me"
Frida looked down at the ground rubbing her arm.
Manny looked at Frida rubbing the back of his head.
"You want to go find him?" Manny asked.
"Huh?"
"Well we all haven't had a time to really hang out, with the city being attack an all"
Frida gives a cheerful smile "Yeah! Let's go do that!" she said happily.
Manny smiles and nods fully dressed as they both leave the room and headed out the building. Manny and Frida walked down the street, they see Rodolfo carrying a block of wood on his shoulders, he smiles seeing Manny and Frida.
"Manny" Rodolfo said smiling.
"Hey dad!" Manny said running over to him "you ok?" he asked.
"I'm just fine Manny no need to worry, what about you tow? How are both doing?"
"We're ok, just looking for Marcus" Frida said.
"Yeah, have you seen him anywhere?" Manny asked.
"Hmm, not really, he could be at his home" Rodolfo responded.
"Oh ok, thanks dad!" Manny said smiling.
"Oh by the way Manny, I wanted to tell you something" Rodolfo said looking at Manny.
Manny looks up at his dad wondering what he wants to tell him.
"Manny, I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you, you've grown into such an amazing hero, I didn't see you fight Django, but I could tell that you gave it you're all, and in the end you are victorious, Manny, I'm proud of you, and I love you"
Manny looks away blushing and rubbing the back of his head "Jeez dad…" Manny said embarrassed.
"Aww" Frida said giggling.
"Thanks dad…" he said smiling at his father.
Rodolfo smiles at Manny "No problem son" he said.
"Well, we got to go find Marcus, I'll see you later Dad!" Manny said running off, Frida smiles and waves following Manny.
Rodolfo waves back watching Manny and Frida run off, he takes a deep and happy sigh.
"He's going to be one hell of a hero when he gets older" Ryu said walking up to Rodolfo standing next to him.
"Yes, he will…" Rodolfo said giving a warm smile.
Elsewhere
Marcus walk down a path somewhere in the forest, the sun was beaming through the forest tress above him making spots of light on the ground. He looks up, seeing the sun being covered by the leaves and small branches on the tress.
He grips his sword tightly; he looks around the area around him and stairs at the tress.
He closed his eyes for a moment, thinking back to the times he used his sword in the past.
He opens them quickly. He takes his sword swinging it with intense speed and puts his sword back in his scabbard.
All the tress around him fell down. Leaves and small branches were cut and fell to the ground.
Marcus takes a deep breath and sighs "I'm really rusty right now" he said looking on the ground.
"Well shit, what do I expect, I haven't used my sword in so long" he takes a look at his katana, he puts his fingers on the blade and slides it down to the tip.
"What makes me want to use this sword again?" Marcus said in a soft tone. "I promised myself I wouldn't even use the sword but yet, here I am holding you again…but…"
Marcus went into a deep thought, he sighs and puts his sword back into the scabbard and turns around taking the path back to Miracle city.
As he makes his way back to town, he takes a look at Miracle city from a cliff, he remembers the first time coming to Miracle city standing there in that very spot, he felt like he was different person, even though he wasn't there long.
"Man, what the hell was wrong with me?" Marcus said rubbing his head. "so damn cocky and arrogant, and I always said those were the types of people I hate the most, and yet I became one of them, what was the point of me coming here to begin with?"
Marcus sits down and looks at the view, he takes off his pink pearl necklace and stairs at it, the sun shines on it, reflecting light off of it.
"Well, there's only one thing I got to do" Marcus said getting to his feet and heading back into town.
Back in Miracle city
Manny and Frida were sitting on the sidewalk drinking cans of soda.
"Jeez where do think he went?" Frida said twirling her can of soda around.
"I have no idea" Manny said lying back on the ground.
"You think he got lost again?"
"ehhh, he probably did"
Frida then starts giggle and laugh.
"What's so funny?" Manny asked.
"Just remembering the first time you and Marcus met"
Manny looks at frida and then looks away "yeah, he was a pain in the ass when we first met huh?" he said taking a sip of his soda.
"Well, I guess, he wasn't too bad, and you got so mad when he tried to hit on me" Frida said looking at Manny.
Manny then spits out the soda in shock "no I wasn't!" he said looking at her.
"Yes you did! All he did was hold my hand and you got so defensive and hit him!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"What are you love birds arguing about?" Marcus said walking up to them.
Manny and Frida turned around to see Marcus standing there looking at them.
"THERE YOU ARE!" Frida said looking at Marcus.
"Yo" Marcus said waving to them.
"Where did you go? And you actually found you're way back to miracle city?" Manny said.
"One, I was just out taking a walk like a said, and tow, shut up"
Manny looks down at Marcus waist seeing the sword "Hey dude, Where did you get that sword?!" he said excited.
"Huh? Oh! This…it's mine" Marcus said gripping the swords handle.
"I didn't know you had a sword! How come you never used it?" Frida asked.
Marcus looks at it for a moment and sighs "reasons…" he whispered.
Manny and frida looked at each other then looked back at Marcus.
"Umm, Oh Marcus, We were just about to go out and do some stuff, want to come?" Frida asked smiling.
"uhh, guy's I actually have to tell you gu-"
"NOPE! You've had enough of your walks and stuff and you might get lost again! So come on!" Frida said grabbing Marcus hand and dragging Marcus.
"Hey where are you taking me?!" Marcus said looking at them.
"You'll see!" Manny said smirking.
Marcus looks at both of them with sweat coming down his face.
Later
Manny, Frida and Marcus were on the top of Miracle city's volcano, they were Manny and Frida were wearing handmade helmets, one was just a box and frida was wearing a cactus on her head.
"You tow…have got to be kidding me…" Marcus said looking at them with his arms crossed.
Manny and Frida hopped inside the shopping cart "Nope! Come on hop in!" Manny said smiling.
"This is the kind of stuff you see stupid people on the internet do, and yet I'm surprised I don't see you tow on there often"
"Just get in the cart!" Frida said.
"I'm not getting in the cart unless I have a helmet and not those stupid ones like you to have" Marcus said turning away.
Frida sighs and looks on the ground seeing a empty can of soup. She picks it up and puts it on Marcus head.
"What?! Are you serious?!"
"YUP!" Frida pulls Marcus in the cart face first.
"H-HEY! I never said I'd agree to this!" Marcus said wiggling is feet around.
"1…2…3! GO!" Manny and frida said as they pushed the cart down the long hill of the volcano.
The cart jet down the hill at immense speed, Manny and Frida put their arms in the air with yelling in and smiling.
"AHHHH! HOLY SHIT!" Marcus screamed sitting seeing how fast they were going.
The cart started to bump and jump in the air and land on the ground wobbling going faster and faster.
The cart hit ramp and flew into the air.
"WOOHOO!" Manny and frida screamed.
"AWW SHIT!" Marcus screamed.
The cart flew into Miracle city; the cart hit a rock that was sticking out the ground. Manny, Frida and Marcus flew out the cart.
They went through two buildings and hit a brick wall.
"ow…" Marcus said falling off the hole of the brick wall and lands face first.
"That Was Awsome!" Frida said falling off the hole in the wall.
"Man! It's actually been a long time since we did that" Manny said falling off the hole in the wall.
"You tow are insane, how the hell was that fun?!" Marcus said getting to his feet glaring at them.
"Oh stop complaining, you're just a little chicken!" Frida said giggling.
"What?! Am not!"
Manny and Frida started laughing and holding their stomach.
"WILL YOU BOTH SHUT UP?!" Marcus screamed tackling Manny putting him in a head lock.
Manny laughed more rolling around with Marcus trying to get lose.
"You tow are so funny! Haha!" Frida said laughing and smiling.
"So you three are the ones making all the noise?" Ryu said looking at all of them with his arms crossed.
"Oh, hey coach" Frida said turning her attention to him.
Manny and Marcus quickly got to their feet.
"You all do know that we are trying to repair the city. Not destroy it" Ryu points at the building that Manny, frida and Marcus went through.
"They said they would kill me if I didn't go along with it" Marcus said.
"WHAT?!" Manny and Frida said glaring at Marcus.
Ryu chuckles a little "you know, instead of trying to break everything. You all seem to be very well now, how about pitching in to help rebuild?" he said.
"Sure!" The three of them said.
Ryu smiled as they went to get supplies. Afterwards they helped put back together buildings, and other destroyed parts of Miracle city. They worked till night time.
"Damn!" Marcus said sitting on the ground drinking a bottle of water "it's been a long ass time since I worked like that"
"Lazy bum" Manny said laying flat on his back.
"Oh please, like you actually have done any labor before"
Manny lets out a little laugh and stairs up at the sky seeing many stars that covered the sky.
"Hey Marcus" Manny said.
"What?"
"If I may ask, how was your family like?"
A warm smile comes across Marcus face. He lies back on the ground putting both his hands behind his head staring at the sky.
"My father was amazing, he would always give me confidence in what I was doing, and he was the man that I always looked up too. Not to mention he was my teacher also for awhile. My mom was so kind, she would comfort me during hard times, she was dream mother that any kid would wish to have, and her cooking was incredible. My family, was amazing"
Manny looked over at Marcus seeing his calm face and warm smile.
"Well, I've done my part of work today" Marcus said getting to his feet "I'll see you later Manny"
Manny lies up seeing Marcus walk off.
"Oh! And one more thing, there's something I have to tell you and Frida tomorrow"
"Huh? What is it?" Manny asked.
"I'll tell you tomorrow"
Marcus said waving and going home.
"What does he want to tell us?" Manny wondered.
The next day
Manny and Frida walked down to Marcus house, wondering what Marcus wants to tell them.
"So what's this about?" Frida said as they both stopped at Marcus house.
"Well he did say that he wanted to tell us something" Manny said leaning on the street light pole.
The doors to Marcus house opened, Marcus stepped out his house carrying his traveling bag and closes the door behind him locking it.
"Huh? Are you going somewhere?" Frida asked.
"Oh there you tow are" Marcus said looking at Manny and Frida.
"Where are you going?" Manny asked.
Marcus looked at Manny and Frida and clinches his sword.
"I'm leaving Miracle city" Marcus said.
Manny and Frida looked at Marcus in complete shock "W-WHAT?!"
"But wait! Why?!" Frida asked
"It's time I need to get back to my roots of skill, I need to get stronger. That and I need to take care of some stuff back home. The reason I came here to Miracle city was just to compete in the tournament, after awhile I thought about settling here. But to be honest there's no way I can, not how I am now" Marcus explained.
Manny looked at Marcus a smiled a little "I understand" he said nodding.
"So, you're really leaving?" Frida said in a sad tone.
"Yeah…but it's not like I'm going away officially" Marcus said turning around and started walking off "I'm going to come back, just give me some time"
Manny lets out a small laugh watching Marcus walk off "you're not the only one who's going to be training" he said smiling widely.
"Right!" Frida said smiling "TAKE CARE MARCUS! COME BACK SOON!" Frida said waving.
Marcus smiles and waves, he leaves Miracle city with smile across his face, knowing that he has friends that he come back too in a time of need. Marcus takes a look behind him seeing Miracle city from the cliff he stood on when he arrived there.
"Don't worry guys, I promise I'll be back" Marcus said to himself as he takes out his sword and holds it out.
"But I'll be stronger then before"

Well everyone that was the last of Episode of EL Tigre the New Adventures. Man I can't believe that I made it this far on this story. I would like to thank everyone that has been reading and staying with this story to his day. I'm glad you all have enjoyed EL Tigre the new adventures to the last episode of season 1. I'm also talking as if this is the last episode of the series. NOPE! This series is beyond from over. I'm also going to do a self review of season 1. That's just something that I need to do. ANYWAY! Thanks again for the support everyone has gave this story to the end.
