A/N yeah I don't think I'm going to stop doing Author note openings. I'm just so use to doing it now. And I only don't do them when I don't have anything to say. Am I saying something important now? EL Tigre the New adventures Season 2 Episode 6 – The Battle against Barton Begins!
The seven heroes stood in Barton's hideout, surrounded by his mutant creations. The mutants slowly walked towards them, covered in green slime. The seven heroes got in there fighting stances ready for their attack.
"I need to get to Barton," Manny said eagerly
"Don't rush things Manny. You don't know what he might be planning or ready for," Rodolfo whispered to Manny.
Manny's hands trembled with anger and he glared up at Barton. Roberto looked over at Manny. He stared at him for a moment and smiled. "You have good kid White pantera," Roberto whispered to Rodolfo.
Rodolfo looked at Roberto surprised and he smiled "T-thank you iron fist…that really means a lot coming from you," he said smiling.
Barton laughed and smirked "KILL THEM!" he roared.
The mutants screeched and charged at the seven heroes. Marcus whipped out his sword and dashed at the mutants. He cut and slashed 3 of them, leaving huge cut Marks on their slimy bodies.
He turned around and looked at the mutants he cut. His eyes widen with shock, as the mutants body's regenerated themselves.
"Shit you got to be kidding me! These things recover?!" Marcus said in disbelief.
Three mutants jumped in the air to try and pin down Rodolfo. But Rodoflo using his speed, he kicked ever single of them out of his way making them splash into the wall. There slimy bodies slid down the wall and formed back to normal.
"This is not good," Rodolfo said calmly
Manny cut down every single mutant that came his way. Eager to get to Barton he slashed three mutants out of his way and hopped in the air going after Barton.
"MANNY, WAIT!" Frida screamed.
But then one of the green mutant monsters shoots its hand out and grabbed Manny by his leg. Manny looked back in shock to see the mutant that he cut down regenerated. The mutant Monster retracted his arm and slammed Manny to the ground making his roll on the floor.
"hmph foolish child," Barton said smirking.
"We have to get rid of these stupid green thingies," Ronnie said eyeing down all of the mutants.
One of the green mutants lunged at Ronnie from behind while she was detracted. Marcus saw this and ran over to her and pushed her out the way. "HUH?!" Ronnie said seeing Marcus getting caught by the green mutant. "MARCUS!" she screamed.
Everyone looked towards where Ronnie was. Three more mutants hopped on the first one that got Marcus and formed into a huge slimy ball.
"NO!" Manny said running over to the huge slimy ball with his claws extended and slashes frantically.
Barton smirked and chuckles "There's no saving him! Once this stupid fights over! He'll be one of my new androids!" he said grinning showing his teeth.
"YOU BASTARD!" Frida shouted glaring at Barton.
"DARN IT LET HIM GO!" Ronnie said running at slimly ball. Rodolfo stopped Ronnie and held on to her.
"No! You might get sucked in as well!" he said holding her tight.
Manny looked at the huge slimy green ball. He saw the small little bubbles started popping up all around it. Manny stepped back and watched as the green slimy ball started melting and more heat bubbles started popping up.
Barton looked down at the bubble raising an eyebrow.
"LET! GO! OF! ME!" Marcus screamed as he erupted from the slimy ball with fire all over his body. He was covered in green slime and it slowly started to come off of him as the fire was roaring all over his body.
"Great…now who knows how long this stuff will take to get off my clothes," he said looking at his shirt and pants. He looked at Manny, Frida, Ronnie and Rodolfo, Who were also covered in green slime.
"And this is what I get for wearing white," Rodolfo said looking at his white pantera outfit.
"Well it's a good thing I wear a lot of green," Ronnie said smiling.
"Ugh! My hair!" Frida said trying to wipe it out of her hair.
Manny laughed and smiled. Mostly out of relief.
"You all didn't really think I was really going to get taken by something as weak as that right? Marcus said chuckling.
Barton gripped the railing of his walkway and gritted his teeth. "Damn it all!" he said in a frustrated tone.
"These Stupid mutants aren't crap. They might recover from out attacks but looks like they have a real big fear of fire!" Marcus said grinning at Barton. "You might as well give up now Barty,"
Veins appeared all over Barton's head as stood back and ran through a door.
"There he's goes again running!" Manny yelled.
There were many more mutants then before. They all completely surrounded the seven of them. They had weapons sticking out there arms and bodies. All of the mutants roared with anger.
"Damn it!" Manny said extending his claws.
"Leave it to me!" Marcus said with fire around his hands "Everyone Get behind me! And stay clear,"
Everyone got behind Marcus. Marcus whole entire arm became engulfed in fire.
"ART OF FIRE! DANCING FLAMES!" Marcus shouted as he slammed his hand to the ground. Fire erupted from the ground around the 7 of them. The fire started moving on its own, engulfing all the mutants around them, moving around like a snake. One by one all the mutants melted, there green color turned black.
"Whoa! NICE ONE MARCUS!" Ronnie said smiling.
"Awsome!" Manny said smiling "Now let's get that bastard!"
Everyone nodded and went up the stairs leading up the railing where Barton was standing and they went through the door.
"This guy really is starting to piss me off! Now it's turned into a wild goose chase!" Marcus said angrily.
"We just need to catch up to him enough to corner him! And then we can just kick the crap out of him!" Frida said running as fast as everyone else.
Barton turned around and saw the seven of them catching up. "Damn it! How did it ever come to this!" he thought in his head. He stopped running, he opened a flap that was on the wall and pushed a red button.
A floor below Manny and frida opened and flew in.
"WHOOA!" Frida screamed holding onto Manny. "Crap!" he said extending his claws and stabs it to the wall of the floor they were falling to stop falling.
"Manny!" Rodolfo shouted looking down.
"We're ok!" Manny said looking up. Above Manny and Frida, the door instantly closed. Manny and Frida looked up in shock.
"Shit! Are you serious?!" Manny groaned. Frida sighed and looked down.
"We actually should have seen this coming," she said "well…I guess it's down we go,"
"Yup…well hang on," Manny lightly let his claws out the metal wall and slid down carefully.
Barton smirked and laughed "you all are so easy to bait!" he taunted. He hit the button again, making a door separating Marcus and Ronnie from Rodolfo, Roberto, Ricardo and Sebastian.
"SHIT!" Marcus yelled.
Barton glared at Marcus "I'll make sure all you suffer a good death, and then you'll all be working for me," he looking right into Marcus eyes.
Marcus looked at him and chuckled "if I really did lose to someone like you then I deserve to die," he said with fire around his hands "but in reality, I'll never lose to scum like you!" Marcus shoots a huge flame fist at Barton. In panic, he hit the button again making a huge metal door that blocked Marcus fire attack.
"So what should we do?" Ronnie said looking at Marcus.
"We need to find a way to get back to the others, and after that we head straight for Barton. But damn…how the hell are we going to get out of this?"
The tow of them was trapped inside the metal hallway. From front to back, they had nowhere to go.
Marcus thought for a moment and took out his sword. "Alright, I'm going to cut our way through all of this as best as I can!" he said gripping his sword tightly.
"Cut through all of this? Can you?" Ronnie asked.
"Yeah, let's just hope we don't end anywhere stupid annoying hell hole,"
Marcus took a deep breath, he held his sword tightly. With five swift cuts, he sliced down the metal door that was blocking their way.
"AWSOME!" Ronnie screamed. But once the pieces of the metal wall fell down, it showed three different optional directions.
"ARE SERIOUS?!" Marcus shouted with a vein on his head.
"Well…want to flip a coin?" Ronnie asked with nervous chuckle.
Where Manny and Frida are
After sliding down the trap door Manny Frida finally arrive at the bottom. Of where the trap door led, everything was damp, dark and wet. You could hear the sounds of water dropping in small puddles.
Manny and Frida looked down at the straight path that leads into darkness.
"Well…only one way to is forward," Frida said taking out a small flashlight from her pocket.
"I wonder how we are going to get back up," Manny said looking up from where they dropped from "DAMN THAT GUY!"
"Manny calm down, if you keep doing stuff like this you're going to get reckless," Frida said concerned.
Manny let out a deep sigh and nodded. "Right…you're right, sorry Frida," he said looking at her.
She smiled "Well…let's go," she said as she started walking and Manny followed a long.
That path they walked down was full of black muddy water. The more they walk, they could feel the mush below their feet, and it was begging to get harder to move by every step.
"God…this is getting difficult…" Frida said nearly tripping. "Darn it! What's in this water anyway?! I'm starting to think we got dumped into the miracle city sewer!"
Frida covered her nose "and why does this water smell so weird?!" she said disgusted "it smells like…like…"
"Blood…" Manny Said standing there. Frida eyes widen, they finally realized that every gush they were stepping was dissolved bodies of Barton's experiments that use to be human that stayed in water over the years. Barton made a system underground of his base to dump failed experiments.
"O-Oh My god…" Frida said as she was about to puke.
Manny's anger was flowing; he knew that there were horrible people in the world. But see someone like Barton still able to walk among innocent people made his anger grows to a point Manny has never reached.
"I'll…I"LL KILL HIM!" Manny screamed.
Where Barton is now
Barton panted as he finally made back to his laboratory. He panted and sat down his chair wiping the sweat off of his head. "I can't believe my luck…after all these years," he said banging his hand on his desk. "There's no way I can beat them…even none of my creations can…."
He looked over at a huge metal door, he took a few deep breathes and got up from his seat and walked over to the door.
"I made this…just in case for moments like this,"
He pressed the button on right of the door, the huge metal doors opened. Inside the room was iron suit, the color of the suit was black, with sky blue shards around it.
"This…is going to be so painful…I never thought that I would have to use this suit…but now I have no choice," Barton walked over to the table where suit lied. He took off all of his clothes and opened the suit, Inside the suit had needles at the bottom and on the sides. The needles had red fluid the connected at the bottom of suit.
Slowly he climbed into the suit, readied his body, and lied down, the needles piercing his body. He groaned with pain as the suit closed on him, the needles were now piercing his upper body.
The needles injected the fluid into his body, the fluid filled his body. The needles began sticking the nerve system of Barton's body, then a glow appeared in the fluid. Barton let out a whale of pain as the suit's start up was over.
And now…Barton was truly ready, he laughed…laughed louder than ever.
"I feel…like a true god…" he whispered "Come and get me…you so called heroes,"
Rodolfo and the 3 hero's location
"He has what?" Rodolfo said in disbelief.
"A suit made by the stolen powers of heroes of the United States," Roberto said to Rodolfo "I don't know how…but most of the time he shut us down when someone arrived to see him…we don't know who it is…"
"This is bad…with power like that…I'm starting to have doubts that we may not beat him,"
"Oh come on now Rivera. Don't tell me you're getting cold feet," Ricardo said to Rodolfo "yeah there strong as hell but we can't just give up right?"
Rodolfo chuckled "getting a confidence booster from my favorite heroes as a kid…thank you," he said smiling.
"Any time Rodolfo,"
"Do you know where should we go? Are there short cuts and secret passages?"
"Nope, the only place we've seen is the lab; he doesn't turn us on till we are outside the lab. He makes sure to make no mistakes," Roberto said.
"I see…well I guess there's only one way to find him now," Rodolfo said as he turned to the wall that blocked his path and with one kick, he knocked it down, Seeing that there were more walls that blocked their path.
"This is going to be awhile," said Rodolfo rubbing the back of his head.
Back to Marcus and Ronnie
Marcus and Ronnie took the left the path. The tow of them has been walking for a good 20minutes now.
"How long is this stupid hallway? UGH! I'm sick of this!" said Marcus as his temper slowly began to drop.
"How the heck did this guy build all of this on his own?" Said Ronnie looking at the hallway
"I don't know and I really don't care! Now I'm starting to see how frustrated Manny is getting!"
Suddenly on the left of the tow of them, a door opened. A glowing blue light came from out the door.
"Come in you tow, I have a lot to show you," Barton said ending what he said with a laugh.
"AH!" Marcus said gripping his sword and running in.
"WAIT UP MARCUS!" Ronnie said following Marcus. The door behind the tow closed. Barton sat in chair with his legs crossed wearing his suit that glowed blue.
"Hello…Mr. Dupree," said Barton with his voice sounding vibrate. "Welcome,"
Marcus let out a little chuckle "And who the hell are you suppose to be? Tron?" he said smiling.
"Dang, he sure does look like him," Ronnie added in.
"Mock me all you want Dupree…this is where you and your friends lives end. I will have your strength and you will work for me…just like the three of them,"
"If you really thing just because you're wearing some dumb suit of armor that glows in the dark you honestly think you can win? Then you really are some psychopath!" Marcus said pointing his katana at Barton.
"Now that we have him cornered we can finally kick his butt!" Ronnie said getting in running start position.
"if you believe you can win…then by all means…come and see if you can," Said Barton opening his arms.
Fire appeared at the bottom of Marcus feat, he dashed at Barton with his sword engulfed in flames. He swings his sword, but the second he does Barton's body dematerializes and disappeared.
"What in the world?" Marcus said confused. Barton then reappeared in front of Marcus, he grabs him by the shirt and punches him violently in the stomach, and Barton's punch was so strong that it was almost seen nearly on Marcus back. Barton the kicks Marcus away making him slide across the floor.
"You, glowing blue bastard!" Ronnie said dashing at Barton with her speed. She threw multiple fast punches and kicks at Barton. But Barton blocked every single one coming at him.
"ahaha…I can see your movements clear enough little girl," Barton said catching and gripping Ronnie's hand and squeezed it tightly.
"OW!" Ronnie groans as she heard one the bones in her hand snap. Barton throws a punch at Ronnie, but Marcus quickly stepped in and blocks Barton's punch with is sword.
"Don't you know it's wrong to hit a girl you stupid son of a bitch!" Marcus shouted with his right hand covered in flames and throws a hard punch at Barton's face. Barton slapped Marcus hand away and kicked him in chest sending him and Ronnie rolling on the ground.
"Muahaha! I never felt so damn strong! So this is how it feels the hold the power of a god!" Barton said looking at his hand with an insane look in his eye. "I…AM THE FUTURE! I AM INVICIBLE!"
"Oh we'll see if you're invincible…" Marcus said putting katana back into its holder and both his hands were covered in fire.
"ART OF FIRE! DOUBLE FIRE FIST BERRAGE!" Marcus launched a barrage of massive fist like fireballs at Barton.
Barton held out his hand gliding across the air making a blue force field blocking Marcus attacks.
"SHIT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Screamed Marcus
"Neither you nor anyone else can lay a scratch on me! NOW BOW DOWN!" Demanded Barton
"GOT TO HELL! ART OF FIRE! BLAZE OF GLORY!" Marcus screamed shooting out a gust of fire from his mouth at Barton. Barton didn't move he stood there letting the fire engulf his body.
"I told you," Barton began. He jumped out of the fire into the air doing front flip kick to Marcus head making him bounce his head off the metal floor. "Fighting me is futile,"
Ronnie tried to get a sneak attack in by doing spin kick to Barton's head, Barton ducked and caught Ronnie by her leg and slammed her into the metal wall.
"F-Fuck…" Groaned Marcus slowly lifting his head of the ground
"You're not as strong as I thought you were when I first saw you," Barton said looking down at Marcus as he kicked him over to where Ronnie was lying.
Marcus coughed and held his head feeling dizzy "shit…all because of that stupid ass suit…" he said trying to let the dizziness go away. "Ronnie, are you ok?"
"Just fine…you?" She responded lifting her head to look at Marcus.
"Pissed off and dizzy…we need to think of something to beat that suit,"
"It really looks indestructible to me…"
"Bullshit…we just have to find some type of way to get close to him,"
Ronnie glared at Barton and she got to her feet. "Ok…I never tested this but I'm going to do it," she said taking a deep breath.
"Do what?" Marcus wondered.
"it's an ability that I was scared to use when I learned it…but now this is an emergency so…here I go,"
Ronnie closed her eyes. she took a heavy deep breath. Her heart started beating. The pace of her heart beats sped up rapidly. Green aura formed around Ronnie's body.
"Adrenaline rush!" Ronnie whispered.
Adrenaline Rush, is an ability that allows Ronnie to increase her heart beats pace using her speed. Making her blood flow rapidly as well, once in this state, her body is as light as a feather. But her strength is increased tenfold. There are 3 versions of this ability that Ronnie has, Adrenaline rush, hyper adrenaline rush, and Maximum adrenaline rush. All have different type of effects. But they all share a fatal side effect.
Once her ability has ended, a massive strain will pierce her body, lungs, and her heart.
Barton looked at Ronnie with a confused expression. Suddenly he was kicked in the back of his head, and then hit in the face, stomach, legs, back, and another hit to face sending him hurdling into the air and crashing to the ground knocking over his desk and tools.
Marcus looked at Ronnie in amazement, then he used his Akuma no me ability and then stares at Ronnie. He sees her inner energy bursting all around within her body.
"That's insane, such a flow of energy…" Marcus said watching.
"D-Damn it! What the hell was that?!" said Barton completely shocked. But the second he was about to get to his feet Ronnie landed on his stomach hard using her knees.
"ARRGHH!" Barton screamed in pain. Ronnie hopped of Barton and she clinched her fist tightly. Her fist started to shake widely, veins started appearing around it.
Barton slowly got to his feet, wobbling, and almost losing his balance, he looked up. Ronnie was already in front of him. Barton widened his eyes.
"JACK HAMMER PUNCH!" Ronnie screamed punching Barton in the stomach, the punch was not one, but actually ten fierce punches hidden by her speed.
Barton spat out blood, he stomach bruised and his ribs broken. He hit the wall with impact causing him to almost go through the metal wall.
Ronnie stood there. Her body paused and her aura was gone. Her eyes widen in terror as blood flowed out of her mouth. Her heart beat stopped an immense aching pain hit her lungs and she collapsed to the ground unable to breath.
"RONNIE!" screamed Marcus loudly getting to his feet and running over to her.
Ronnie wasn't moving, having used Adrenalin rush for the first time. The side effects hit her fatally.
"Shit…Shit…SHIT!" Marcus repeated over and over. Looking at her with her Akuma no me. Her heart wasn't beating.
"Ronnie! Please hang in there please!" Marcus begged.
Ronnie coughed, blood splattered from her mouth. Her heart began to beat but there was a slight delay when it began. She slowly took light breaths.
"Thank god…thank god," Marcus said holding her close. "You're ok…"
"I…I…I…over did it…didn't I?" she said opening her eyes a little.
"Yeah…you did…you didn't have to do that," he said rubbing her head.
"I'm sorry…" Ronnie said closing her eyes taking light breaths.
Marcus chuckled "don't worry about it," he said smiling "Your ok…and that's all that matters,"
"How cute," said Barton
Marcus quickly looked up. he saw Barton was out the dented wall. And he glared at Marcus with a smirk across his face.
"You can't be serious…I thought she got him," Marcus thought
"ahahaha…she was impressive indeed, she gave me quite a bit of a scare though. She damaged me heavily…but thanks to this suit. I won't have to worry much about me getting hurt too much,"
Marcus laid Ronnie down gently, keeping her out the way as he walked over to Barton taking out his katana.
"You're a real scumbag piece of shit you know that?" said Marcus glaring straight into Barton's eyes with his Akuma no me. "I'm going to slice you in tow!"
Barton just shook his head and shrugged "you can try," he said taunting Marcus.
Marcus calmed down, letting his anger drift away. He got in a sword stance, gripping his katana tightly. Marcus Akuma no me glowed, and red glowing light took over his body.
He took out his sword. And dashed at Barton, Barton tried to read Marcus movements but was having a hard time.
Marcus swung his sword multiple times trying to hit Barton, Barton blocked everyone one of Marcus sword hits and threw a kick to his head. Marcus ducked and back flipped away.
Marcus gritted his teeth and glared at Barton.
"You're something Mr. Dupree, but you're not good enough though," Barton said grinning.
"Screw you!" Marcus shouted
Barton held out all five of his fingers, beams shot out from all five of his fingers, Hitting Marcus shoulder, arm, stomach and leg.
Marcus fell to the ground screaming in pain and dropping his sword.
"Once I take care of you, I can kill the second EL Tigre boy, white pantera, and those traitors Cyborgs!"
Marcus looked up at Barton, seeing him charge up his beams.
'RIVERA TIGER PISTOL!" Manny shouted launching his grappling hook at Barton.
Barton sees Manny's grappling hook coming at him and he hops out the way.
"So you made it out, Rivera," Barton said glaring at Manny. Manny landed on the ground on his feet glaring right back at Barton.
"It's about time you guy's showed up," Said Marcus holding stomach.
"RONNIE!" Frida said running over to her.
"She's fine…she'll be ok. But please stay with her Frida," said Marcus. Frida nodded.
"It's switched now huh Marcus? Now I'm the one coming to save your ass," Manny said smirking at Marcus.
"Oh shut up…" Marcus said getting to his feet.
A huge red hand came busting threw the metal wall.
"Well I have to say that's a lot quicker than me kicking down walls," said Rodolfo coming out of the hole in the wall.
"Actually we should have done this from the begging," said Roberto.
"Wait then I would have had to stretch my entire arm to knock all of them down at once. Witch I actually wish I could," said Ricardo.
"We all wish we had better flashy moves," Said Sebastian.
"Damn it all…what is with my luck today?" Barton said clinching his fist. "They all found their back here…"
Manny narrowed his eyes at Barton "You Barton," Manny began "you will pay for every cruel thing you have done, to the hero's and citizens of Miracle city!"
The six them stood together facing Barton.
"We will defeat you!"
