EL Tigre the New Adventures Season 2 Episode 12 – Jobs and trickery
Miracle city was for once, very quiet and peaceful. The sun was beaming down on the citizens that were walking around and enjoying their day with friends enjoying tasty food and cold refreshing drinks. Teenagers were playing basketball in the local basket ball court, enjoying the peacefulness that was given to them.
"Now this is more like it," said Marcus, walking down the street with Manny, Frida, and Ronnie following along. "Not a single crime being committed. Not any stupid sorry ass criminal trying to rob a bank. Just the nice blue sky and the nice beautiful day, yes this is starting to turn out good,"
"You can't be so relaxed Marcus," Manny said. "Anything could happen even on a perfect day like this,"
"If something does happen I'll just let you take care of it,"
"Lazy ass,"
"Fur ball,"
"Oh would be great if even villains have a day off too. We sure dealt with a lot of crazy stuff over the week," said Frida.
"Yup and we kicked their butts!" Ronnie said.
"Hell yeah," Marcus said smirking with his hands in his pocket. "And you know what we deserve. The biggest bucket of ice cream we can afford!"
"YEAH!" said Manny, Frida, and Ronnie in unison.
"ALRIGHT!" said Marcus turning to them "anyone got any money?"
Manny, Frida, and Ronnie gave Marcus the look and slumps. "So you say something about big buckets of ice cream and you don't even have any money?" said Frida crossing her arms.
"Well damn…I don't have job," he said rubbing the back of his head "HELL! WE SHOULD BE PAID FOR SAVING THE CITY!" he shouted.
"Marcus. A hero doesn't ask for anything in return, it's about the people safety," said Manny.
"Right…like you would pass up a big wad of cash if you had the chance,"
"Good point,"
"I know I wouldn't," said Frida.
"I don't know. I'm with what Manny said," Said Ronnie "I love saving people and helping whenever I get the chance,"
The four of them sighed. Not having any money at all to by any ice cream.
"Shit. I guess we have to find some jobs…" Marcus said kicking a rock in annoyance.
"aww man…more work," Manny said sulking.
"Oh be quite, you think I don't want to do this. I need money now! I've been broke for the past years doing other work for free!"
"As matter of fact I need some money too. I don't remember the last time I even had a penny,"
"And I came here with no money at all. I just ran to miracle city like Leng did," Said Ronnie smiling.
"Well at least we are broke together right?" Marcus patting Frida and Manny's back and smiling.
"Ugh…" Manny and Frida groaned.
"Alright everyone, we all find jobs around Miracle city and we come back to this spot with all the money we earned. And after that…WE FEAST!" Marcus explained.
"RIGHT!" The three of them said as they all separated going into town.
"This will be easy!" Marcus said to himself with a confident grin across his face "There's no job that I can't do!"
Marcus Dupree – Job - Trimming bushes
"Ok kid. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to trim these threes bushes down neat and orderly. I don't want any of them looking uneven," The man explained.
Marcus crossed his arms and chuckled "way to easy, anyone can trim some bushes," he said waving his hand around.
"Alright that's good to hear. Here you go," the man handed him the sheers "I'm going to go back into my house and take a nap. Knock on the door when you're done," the man walked back into the house and closed the door behind him.
Marcus stood there for a moment and looked at the sheers "umm…what the hell is this stupid blade?" he examined it and then tossed it away. "All I need is this," he whipped out his katana and gripped it tightly.
"This is how you trim bushes,"
The sun reflected off Marcus sword as zipped past the bushes cutting off all the leaves that were on it leaving nothing but the branches and sticks up,
"Beautiful," said Marcus smiling. He looked around the man's yard, looking at his trees and lawn and his dog.
"You know. This whole area needs a trimming down," he held up his blade and narrowed his eyes at the dog. The dog looked up at Marcus and it yelped.
"Especially you,"
10 minutes later
The entire area around the house was cute clean of any green healthy grass. Everything was cut down the shreds. Green shards cut grass and leaves were covered all over the yard. All that was left of the yard was dirt and ground. And the dog didn't have any hair on it at all.
"I'll get paid extra for this!" Marcus said laughing and putting his sword back into his scabbard.
The Man came out of his letting out a big yawn and rubbing his eyes. "That was such a good nap. How are things goi- WHAT IN GODS NAME?!" he said flabbergasted at the site of his once precious glorious yard cut down and destroyed.
"I did a good job huh? You don't have to worry about anymore weeds or annoying grass in your yard huh?" Marcus said smiling at the man. "Oh and your dog needed a haircut also, so I took liberty to give him a good haircut,"
"Poochie!" The Man cried "he's turned you into the naked mole rat!"
"I know someone who owns a naked mole rat," said Marcus rubbing his chin.
The Man gritted his teeth and he was foaming at the mouth. He narrowed his eyes at took a deep breath.
"GET OFF MY PROPERTY!" he roared at Marcus.
"Wait a second! What about my money?!"
"YOU GET NOTHING! YOU HAVE RUINED ME YARD! NOW LEAVE! OUT OUT OUT!"
The Man grabbed Marcus by his shirt and tossed him far away from his yard.
Marcus flew through the air and sighed "Damn it…"
Marcus Dupree – Money earned (0$)
Manny Rivera – job – Painting
"So here's what I want you to do," explained the blond haired women. "I need this whole room walls painted over with the color blue. Ok?"
"I got it, no problem at all mam!" said Manny nodding and smiling.
"Alright then, I'll be back in 7 hours. Have fun," she said getting her purse and walking out the room closing the door behind her.
"Ok. Get this whole room painted. The whole room…" said Manny, standing there holding the paint brush in his hand and a bucket of paint in the other.
"Let's do this!" Manny said as he started panting the first side of the wall. He pushed the brush up and down the wall. In an instant Manny was already bored to death.
"Man I wish Frida was here," he said in his head "this would be a lot more fun to do,"
Manny stood there for a moment and thought about how he would make this better. And suddenly it came to him. "I got it!"
Manny left the room and ran down to the storage where they were keeping more different colors of paint. He grabbed the cans and more paint brushes then went back up to the room. He pop the lids open and spun his EL tigre belt.
"Now let's give this room some real color!" Manny said as he grabbed the buckets of paint and plashed it all around the room covering it in different colors like blue, yellow, purple, orange and pink. Manny was completely covered in paint; his EL tigre suit was dirty with all kinds of colors.
"Now that is a work of art!" Manny said smiling at his glorious art.
"Excuse me. I forgot to pick up somethi-…oh my god…" the blond women dropped her purse to the paint covered ground in shock. "What have you done to my room…my carpet…?"
"Awesome isn't it? Really is an explosion of colors!" Manny said proudly.
"All that paint wasted…WHY YOU LITTLE!"
Before Manny could even say anything he was tossed out of the room.
"What did I do?! I made a work of art!" Manny shouted. "Jeez…everyone's such a critic,"
Manny Rivera – Money earned (0$)
Frida Suarez – Job – Washing Cars
Frida decided to pick one of what she thought is one of the easiest job in the world, washing cars. Luckily, she found someone who would pay her 200$ to wash his car.
"Thank goodness I found someone that would help me out. I just haven't found time to even do it," said the man dressed in tuxedo "you are a life savor!"
"Hey it's no problem at all, who in the world would not want to help you? Just leave it all to me!" Said Frida
The Man took Frida into his huge home. That had so many expensive things in it. She took down to where the door to his garage was.
"Alright, take all the time that you need and you will earn your money," explained the man in the tuxedo.
"No problem! Let me at it!" said Frida, ready as she could ever be.
"Splendid!"
He opened the door to garage. Frida's excided expression quickly changed from excitement to absolute shock and a confidence killer. In the man's garage was probably more than hundreds or thousands of different types of cars. Frida tried to see if she could see the end, but to her it seemed like there was no end.
"Alright then I'll just leave you to your thing! Bye now!" the man closed the door behind him and left.
Frida was quite for a minute and then she started walking down the row of cars.
"What is it with rich people in having so many cars?!" Screamed Frida, her voice echoing across the in the large garage. "And I'm supposed to be doing this for 200?! HAS THAT MAN LOST HIS MIND?!"
Frida sat down on the ground and sighed "Man…I wish Ronnie was here. She could clean all these cars in seconds…" she said in depressed tone. "How am I going to do this?"
She looked up out of the window of the garage and stared at the huge water tower that was in town. She kept staring till finally.
BING! "I got it!" she said springing to her feet and she ran over to the big garage door and flipped the switch, opening making the large white garage door open. She ran outside heading straight for water tower. When she arrived, she climbed up the latter going up. She reached the top and looked at the view seeing if she can see the rich man's house.
"There!" Frida said pointing at the house. "Now all I need to do is get this case open. It should have enough water to wash all the cars that are in there,"
Frida looked around the water tower searching for a knob or a switch she can use to release the water "Come on…it's got to be somewhere…AH! Here it is!"
She was tugging and pulling on the knob till finally she notices that knob was locked tight.
"Oh come on! Stupid locked thingy!" Frida raises her leg and kicks the knob out of frustration. When she kicked the knob the lock that was on it fell off and rusted breaking into rusted pieces.
"Oh…that worked,"
And then the water that was in the tank came busting out like a large tsunami. The water flushed down to the rich man's house a smashed into the garage door. Do to the pressure of the large amounts of water that smashed in, windows to the expensive cars were smashed and the cars swirled around inside the garage.
Frida lies on the ground. She lied up and soaking wet and looked around at the messed up cars.
"What was all that noise?!" The Man in the Tuxedo said. His jaw dropped seeing all his cars that were lined up perfectly, be destroyed and wrecked.
"My cars…" he whimpered "MY BEAUTIFUL CARS!" he glared down at Frida, his face turning red with anger.
Frida gulped and gave an innocent smile "Cars are clean…looks good huh?"
"GET OUT!" The Man roared.
Frida quickly got to her feet and ran away from the man's house "AW COME ON! HOW WAS SUPPOSE CLEAN ALL OF THAT?!"
Frida Suarez – Money earned (0$)
The three met up at the place where they were earlier. All three of them looked depressed and defeated. The silence was broken sighs.
"Judging by this I guess neither of you got any money?" said Marcus looking at Manny and Frida.
"Not even a penny…" Manny said shaking his head.
"I don't want to talk about it…" Frida said dripping wet.
"WELL SHIT! I CAN"T BEILVE THIS!" Marcus said punching a hole into a brick wall.
"Hey…where's Ronnie?" Frida asked.
Marcus ripped his hand out the wall "I don't know. I thought she was going to be back here along with us,"
Right as Marcus was about to speak again a green figure rushed passed them, bring a large amount of wind following from behind, the wind knocked Manny into Marcus making them fall down.
"Whoa…" Frida said slowly opening her eyes. "That was her," she looked down at her dress and shirt seeing that she was completely dry. "I'm all dry! Woohoo!"
Ronnie ran back over to where Manny, Marcus and Frida where and she waved at them.
"Hey guys!" Said Ronnie happily "Sup? Any luck with the jobs,"
The three of them looked down at the ground in disappointment and groaned.
"Ehh…I guess no luck huh? That sucks,"
"What job are you doing?" Manny asked, getting to his feet
"I have a delivery job! I got around and deliver stuff people order!" Ronne explained smiling.
"How much have you earned?" Marcus asked Dusting off his shirt.
"40 bucks so far!"
"40!" The three of them said surprised.
"Yeah, Awesome isn't it! I get done with my deliveries very fast so I get paid a lot," Ronnie said smiling.
"Awesome! We can buy all the food we want if you keep it up!" said Manny smiling
"Yup, well guy's I can't stay for long I have job to do! Later!" Ronnie then runs off in high speed.
"You know…Maybe we should have picked jobs we were good at," said Frida.
"What jobs did you guys get?" Marcus asked
"Paint," Said Manny
"Washing cars," Said Frida
"And…how did you all mess that up?"
"Well I got bored and started splashing paint all over the place…different colored paint. It was like a rainbow of blots," Said Manny
"And this rich guy had thousands of cars in this huge garage. There was no way that I could have done it. So I decided to try and wash all of them by using the miracle city water tower. All his cars are wrecked now," said Frida, kicking a rock.
"Wow…you guy's suck," Marcus said laughing.
"Well what job did you have that messed up Mr. Perfect?" Manny asked.
"Uh trimming bushes…"
"AND how did you mess up trimming bushes?" Frida asked putting her hands on her hips.
"Ok look, I got carried ok? I ended up cutting all the leaves, grass and even the dumbasses dog. I turned into a dirt paradise for him. He should be grateful,"
"You even cut the hair off he doggy?! Marcus how could you!" Frida said bopping Marcus head.
"Ow! The dog is fine. He's a naked mole rat now but it's ok,"
The three of them sat on the ground leaning on the wall.
"So what are we going to do now?" Frida asked. "I really don't want to rely on Ronnie paying for us,"
"I guess we could try and find more jobs," Said Manny staring at the sky
"No one in Miracle city wants to higher idiots like us," Marcus said tossing a rock in the air and catching it. "I could try robbing a bank like EL oso does all the time,"
"Dude, don't do that!" Manny said batting his eyes at him
"soooo…you all are looking for jobs eh?" said the man in the ally that was next to where the three of them were sitting.
Manny, Marcus and Frida looked into the ally seeing a man dressed in a black coat and wearing a black cowboy hat. "I can give you three jobs,"
"A guy with an evil voice wearing an outlaw outfit and hiding in an ally sounds legit." Said Marcus with his arms crossed and looking at the man
"Who are you?" Manny asked
"My name is of no importance. But what is important is the job I have for you all to do, if you're up for it that is,"
"Depends on what the job is." Marcus said narrowing his eyes at the man
He smirked "I need you three to head into the most dangerous town In Miracle city. CALEVERA!"
"Calevera?!" Manny and Firda said in shock.
"What the hell is a Calevera?" Marcus asked looking at Manny and Frida
"Calevera is the most dangerous town in Miracle city. Full of the most vicious and cold hearted bandits and villains." Frida explained.
"Jeez just when you think Miracle city doesn't have enough problems it has its own town for bad guys."
"Why exactly do we need to go there and what for?" Manny asked glaring at the man.
"You see…there's a villain there in Calevera that needs to be "taken care of" and I don't have the muscle or strength to do it myself. I've seen what you two can do. That's why I want to hire you two to do it."
"I'm not killing anyone. I'm no killer." Said Manny
"Hey if you want me to do it then I'll do it." Marcus said smiling
"Marcus!" Frida said looking at him
"So what are you paying?"
"2,000$" The man said
"2,000?!" The three of them said shocked.
"Yes that's right. If you "Take care" of this certain person, you will be paid handsomely,"
"Man…2,000$ just think of what we could get with all that money!" Manny said with dollar signs in his eyes.
"Think of all the churros we can buy!" Frida said with churros in eyes
Marcus didn't say anything. He was blushing widely with hearts in his eyes and chuckling like a pervert.
"So…is it a deal?" The man asked
The three of them looked at each other and they nodded.
"Good, very good," The Man held up a photo showing them the person that he wanted taken care of. He had long black hair, brown skin, a very pimply face and many teeth missing from his mouth.
"A face only a mother could love," Said Marcus and he took the picture of the man. Then the three of them left off the calevera.
The Man in the ally smirked and laughs "I got them now."
Elsewhere
The Three of them arrived at the hill top looking at the dirty crime infested town that is Calevera. Gun shots could be heard, echoing across the area and the sound of people laughing like madman.
"So this is Calevera? Doesn't look like much to me," said Marcus scratching his head.
"Are…are we really going to kill him?" Frida asked nervously.
"No way we are killing him. we are just going to knock him out and just say we did." said Manny.
"Well," Marcus got to his feet "What are we waiting for? Let's go find this guy,"
The three of them walked down from the hill heading to the entrance of Calevera. The second they walked in eyes were on them. Every bandit or villain that was there stopped what they were doing and stared at Manny, Marcus and Frida.
"Well…I guess we are very popular here huh?" Frida said chuckling and sweating nervously.
"Hey I remember some of these guys. Leng kicked the crap out of them," Said Marcus "glad to know they are all better."
Some of the bandits growled and death glared at Marcus and Manny. But for some reason they started smirking and grinning.
"Huh…what are they laughing about?" Frida wondered.
"I don't know, but let's hurry up and find this guy already." Said Marcus as he walked up to a random bandit "Hey you. Seen this guy anywhere?" he showed him the picture.
The bandit spat on the ground and looked at the picture and chuckled "in there," he pointed to the large bar in the middle of the town.
"Well thanks!" Marcus said smiling "you heard him, let's go," he said as he started walking towards the bar.
"That was easy." Manny said following Marcus. Frida followed from behind and she gave one last look at the bandit was smirking evilly.
The three of them approached the entrance of the bar and opened the slide door to the bar and walked in.
It was full of large giant like bandits. Come carrying overly large guns and they all stared at Manny, Marcus and Frida.
Marcus looked at the paper of the man they were after and looked around. He sees Bagre. The Man they were looking for.
"HEY! Bagre!" Marcus yelled "Sorry to say this man but you're coming with us."
"Bagre?" Manny said snickering "ugly mug."
"Wow nice name dude." Frida said giggling.
Bagre chuckled and took a big gulp of his beer and turned around to them and smirked.
"Actually little kids, it's the other way around."
The doors behind them closed instantly. And a larger more wooden door appeared blocking their way. The three of them turned around and looked at the door and back Bagre.
"What the hell is this?!" said Manny glaring at Bagre.
"What do you think it is?" said the man from the ally that gave the three of them the job.
"H-Hey, it's you!" Frida said pointing at him "You're the guy that gave us the job to get this guy!"
"Correct indeed. But actually…what I really wanted was to get you three. To finally get my revenge!"
"Revenge? We don't even know who the hell you are!" said Marcus glaring at him.
"Oh you know very well who I am…THE THREE OF YOU DO!" his voice suddenly got higher. "YOU RUINED MY GRAND ENTRANCE TO MIRACLE CITY!"
"Dude…that voice." Said Manny
"It's so squeaky." Said Frida chuckling. And then her eyes widened.
The Man pulled off his coat and tossed it into the air.
"DO YOU REMEMBER ME NOW? TORO CHICO! MASTER OF THE BULLS!" he screamed glaring at Manny, Marcus and Frida.
The entire bar fell dead silent. Manny, Marcus and Frida stared at Toro Chico blankly. And the bandits in the bar who were working for Toro Chico looked at him with shock at hearing his voice.
"So…Squeaky…" Said Bagre
Then the entire bars silence was broken into the laughter. Everyone who was in the bar was laughing till they couldn't laugh anymore.
"He sounds like a stuff chew toy!" said one bandit.
"How dare him coming in here with that voice! Buahahah!"
"How old is this kid?! His balls haven't even dropped yet!" Said another bandit
Toro Chico shook with anger. His face turning red and then "SHUUUUUUUT UPPPPP!" he screamed so loud that the pitch was like a microphone out of tune when you bump into it. Everyone covered their ears and groaned in pain.
"Argh! My ears!" Manny groaned and fell to his knees.
"This must be how a dog whistle sounds like! Ahhh!" Frida screamed holding her ears.
"DAMN IT! AHHHH! BE QUITE YOU DUMB LITTLE TWERP!" Marcus shouted, he couldn't move his arms.
Toro Chico stopped screaming. He took deep breaths and panted "Wow…I guess my voice is pretty good." He said chuckling.
"You dumb little punk! You nearly blew all of our ear drums out!" Bagre said glaring at Toro Chico
"Well you're the ones who were laughing at me!"
"Man…that was horrible…owwww." Manny said rubbing his ears
"Squeaky voice of doom," Frida said picking her ears.
"You're going to pay for that one you rotten squeaky chew toy!" said Marcus as fire appeared around Marcus hands "ART OF FIRE! FLAME FIST!" he launched a huge fireball at Toro Chico.
"AH! HELP ME! IT"S WHAT I'M PAYING YOU ALL FOR!" Toro Chico said hiding behind Bagre.
"Yeah yeah I know." Bagre said taking out a huge shield from his back and slamming it to the ground. Marcus fire fist collided with it. Fire bursting all over the place.
"What the heck?" Marcus said confused
The huge shield Bagre whipped out was clean and unharmed by the fire.
"Fire proof shield I got here. You aren't going to get me with any of your fire ability's kid." Said Bagre
"Tch!" Marcus said. "I got more than fire to kick all your asses." He whipped out his sword and pointed it at him
Manny spun his belt transforming into EL Tigre "Looks like your little plan of trying to "Take care" of us backfired!"
"You made the biggest mistake your life you squeaky voice little kid." Marcus said glaring at Toro Chico "I'M SUPPOSE TO BE ON VACATION!"
"Shut up and die you fire brat!" said a Bandit hopping in the air attempting to whack Marcus in the head with a mallet. But right at as the bandit was about to swing, cut wounds appeared around his body and blood gushed out of his body and fell to the ground.
"Now I'm pissed." Said Marcus gritting his teeth
"Ready when you are." Said Manny
"I'll be over here. I smell some good food and I'm starving!" Frida ran over to where the food was.
"AIM!" Bagre roared.
All the bandits that were in the bar took out there guns and pointed them at Manny and Marcus.
"OH NO! WATCH OUT!" Frida screamed.
"FIRE!"
Everyone opened fire on them. Marcus activated his Akuma no me. Everything to him seems to slow down. He gripped his blade. All that could be seen at this moment was Marcus sword swinging and slashing sword around and one by one bullet's fell to the ground cut into pieces.
The bandits looked at Marcus in fear and shock. The floor was covered in cut up bullets.
"Holy crap…" said Bagre sweating bullets "he deflected all those bullets…there were at least hundreds of them at once coming at him."
"ALRIGHT MARCUS!" Frida cheered on
"Wow dude. That was Awesome!" Manny said smiling widely. He then looked at Marcus shoulder that had a bullet wound. "Dude…you missed one,"
"I can feel that Manny." Marcus said holding his shoulder "Now…I'm really pissed."
"FORGET THIS MAN! WE CAN"T COMPARE TO THOS TWO ANYWAY!" A bandit hopped out a window and ran off. One by one every other bandit that was in the bar did the same. And after that, the bar only had Manny, Marcus, Frida, Bagre and Toro Chico.
"Well that sucks for you tow." Manny said looking at Bagre and Toro Chico.
"I knew that they were tough…but I didn't think that he was that crazy." Toro Chico said shaking in fear.
Suddenly Bagre screamed in pain and blood burst from his chest. Marcus had just cut down Bagre with one slash.
"AHH!" Toro Chico screamed and fell on his butt.
Fire appeared around Marcus hands and Manny cracked his knuckles.
"Oh no…" Toro Chico whispered
WHACK! POW! SLASH! KICK! PUNCH! WHAM!
"Oohhhh…" Toro Chico groaned in pain.
"Hey guys! Check it out!" Frida showed them the wallet she picked up from Bagre. She opened up seeing it was full of Money. "Look at all the money!"
"Score!" Manny said putting his fist in the air.
"Hey umm…is he…" Frida pointed at Bagre
"No no, he's alive…I didn't hit any vitals…I should have though." Said Marcus putting his sword back into his scabbard
The three of them left the bar. Bandits where surrounding the building watching the fight and they all backed up in fear
"I didn't even get a punch on the big guy." Manny said with his hands on his pocket.
"Yeah well you're not the one with the bullet wound." Said Marcus annoyed.
"Come on guys we got tons of money! Let's get back to town!" Frida said happily.
"Ugh…my god…what a day…" Marcus groaned "I"M SUPPOSE TO BE ON VACATION!"
Later on
"He was here again?!" Said Ronnie slamming her hands on the table
"Yeah…the only thing that was dangerous about him was his squeaky ass voice." Said Marcus with his shoulder bandaged up.
"Nearly blew our ears off!" Frida said taking a big bite out of her burger.
"It wasn't too much trouble though." Manny said drinking his soda
"Maaaan…I wish I was there…I want to beat the crap out of that kid that stole my whittle bull." Ronnie said putting her head to the table.
"Ahh don't worry Ronnie. You'll get a crack at him one day if he ever turns up." Marcus said patting her back.
"Yeah, I guess that's true." Ronnie said sitting up. "Thanks." She said smiling.
Marcus had completely finished his meal and got up from the table.
"Well guy's I'm going home. It's time for me to rest." He said yawning.
"Same here, all that work had really got me tired." Frida said stretching.
"To be honest I had fun today, besides getting dirty with paint." Manny said chuckling.
"See ya guy's later!" Ronnie said waving and walking home. Manny and Frida did the same. And Marcus headed on home. The sky was filed with a bright orange glow from the sun.
Suddenly a breeze blew by, and Marcus heart skipped a beat. He stopped walking. Memories came rushing by in his head and he slowly raised his head looking up at the sky seeing the sun set.
A smile grew upon his face.
