EL Tigre the New Adventures Season 2 Episode 15 – The Tiger and the Dragon Part 1
Manny awoke to the sound of birds chirping and warm beams of the sun hitting his face. He stretched and rubbed his eyes trying to wake up, he gets out of bed and heads downstairs to brush his teeth.
"I wonder how Fridas doing." Manny thought as we have awake while brushing his teeth. He thought about how performance in her training against Marcus yesterday. She was very exhausted.
Miracle city was full of people walking down the streets heading off to work. Not much crime was going on at all. But the streets were heaving with polices officers in every corner.
Manny opened the door to his room and headed downstairs. To his surprise he saw his grandfather puma loco sitting on the couch watching tv.
"Grandpapi?!" Manny said surprised
"Oh! Hello Manny!" Puma loco said looking over at Manny "how have you been?"
"I've been doing ok, what about you? I haven't seen you in a long time Grandpapi." Manny said going over to the couch and sitting next to him.
"Well I've been pretty busy Manny. A lot has been going on since Tetsuo's attack. Not to mention the world government needs help with certain missions. That's also why you're father is rarely around also."
"What type of certain missions?" Manny said interested.
"Sorry I can't say. It's classified." Puma Loco said crossing his arms, closing his eyes and looking away.
"Oh come on grandpapi! Pleaassseee?" Manny begged.
"Nope, no way,"
Manny cheeks puffed and he turned away crossing his arms. "Alright, fine!"
Puma loco opened one eye and looked at Manny. He formed a smile and chuckled.
"But I know of a way you can help us out Manny." Puma loco said smiling.
Manny opened his eyes quickly and turned to Puma loco "REALLY?! Like how?!" he said excited. Puma loco lies back on the couch with both of his hands behind his head closes his eyes.
"I don't know if you can handle it Manny. it actually might be a bad idea." Puma loco said as he let out a small yawn.
"Can't handle it?! Oh come on grandpapi I've handled a lot more worse things! You know that!"
"True. But this one right here takes the cake. You're going to need all the help you can get." Puma loco said looking at Manny.
"Right, just tell me what the mission is and I'll take it!" Manny said smiling with confidence.
"Hmm…alright then," Puma loco said "in the north. In a town called terra. It's known for its Art of Earth style. But recently there have been people missing and disappearing into the mountains of terra town."
"Disappearing into the mountains?"
"Yes. It's been happening for quite awhile now. And people who are sent to look for them end up never coming back."
"Wow…that's spooky." Manny said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yes it is and it's another reason why I don't think you and you're friends should go." Puma loco said.
"Oh come on Grandpapai! Like we'd really lose to a bunch of kidnappers! We'll be just fine!" Manny said hopping off the couch "Just give us the location to terra town and we'll get done with it and no time!"
"Hmm…" Puma loco thought about it for a moment. At the same time he'd have no choice. No other hero is free to take the mission. Most of them had their own problems to take care of that and the same mission that Puma loco, Ryu, Rodolfo and the other's were on.
"Alright Manny you and you're friends got the mission." Puma loco said finally
"YES!" Manny shouted as he headed for the door. "I'll go get everyone! Wait here!" and then Manny left.
Puma loco rubbed his chin. He was starting to have second thoughts. He also remembered when Emiliano told him about his fight with Vossler willow that used powerful art of earth ability's. But maybe he was just over worrying.
In Town
"She isn't going anywhere." Carmela said with her arms crossed. "My daughter has been through enough as it is. She isn't going to be on any mission."
"I see." Manny said rubbing the back of his head "Well. Can tell her I said hey, and I hope she gets better soon."
"Yes I will. Bye Manny." Carmela closed the house front door.
"Well I guess Frida is out." Manny said as he walked down street with his hands in his pocket.
"Well at least maybe Ronnie can join us." Manny thought. As soon as Manny said that he saw Ronnie in a pizza shop nearby. She didn't look very happy either.
"Ronnie?" Manny said as he walked into the shop.
"YOU DARE TRY AND CLOSE DOWN THE AMAZING PIZZA SHOP! AND YOU ARE TRYING TO COMPETE WITH THIS CARD BORD BULLCRAP! HOOOOOW DARE YOU!" Ronnie screamed tossing the pizza at the owner.
"Why you little brat, you don't know anything about pizza!" the shop owner shouted back.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Ronnie screamed with her eyes wide "I DON"T ANYTHING ABOUT PIZZA?! I"LL SHOW YOU WHO DOESN"T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT PIZZA!"
Ronne puts her ring on and transforms. She looks over at Manny.
"Oh hey Manny," Ronnie said smiling "Sup?"
"So I guess you're pretty busy?" Manny said chuckling a little.
"Yup, about to kick some bad pizza guy butt! See ya!" Ronnie dashed off, and started destroying everything in the shop. "TAKE THIS YOU FRAUDS!"
Manny sighed and walked out the pizza shop.
"Hmm…so I guess all who's is…" Manny scratched his head.
"Yo." Marcus said standing behind Manny.
Manny quickly turned around seeing Marcus stand there with his hands in his pocket and his sword on his back.
"Oh hey," Manny responded
Marcus smiled "did you see what Ronnie was doing back there? That was hilarious."
Manny formed a smile "Yeah she doesn't kid around when I comes to her pizza."
"Anyway what are you up too?" Marcus asked.
"Well…you see there's this mission that Grandpapi let us do and I was trying to get everyone to join in. But Frida can't come and Ronnie is doing her thing soo…."
"I see. Sounds interesting," Marcus said smirking.
"Yeah…well I guess it's just you and me." Manny said
"Is there something wrong with that?" Marcus said tilting his head and raising an eyebrow.
"No no! I'm just saying that's all!"
Marcus laughed and walked past Manny patting his back "Well come on, let's go find out what we need to do."
Manny nodded and followed along.
Back at Manny's house
"I see, just the two of you huh?" puma loco said rubbing his chin.
Marcus shook his head "oh come on just the two of us could be enough. It's not like we're fighting an army or anything."
"Well alright. Manny will explain all that you need to know." Puma loco said getting to his feet. He snapped his fingers "I can't believe I almost forgot." Puma loco took off his hat and dug in it then took out a map. "Here's the map to terra town. You might want to pack. It's going to be a long journey."
Marcus took the map and opened it. "Holy crap, look at how much we have to go through." he groaned.
"We better pack a lot of stuff…" Manny said heading upstairs.
"Right, I'll go get ready. Stop over when you're done packing." Marcus said rolling up the map and walks out Manny's house.
"Well looks like I better get back to work." Puma loco said heading for the door. He stops and looks back "Be careful you tow…" he said as he activated his hap propellers and flew off.
Later that day
Both Manny and Marcus were fully packed and ready to go. They headed down the road to the miracle city gates with their back packs over their shoulders.
"Well here we go." Manny said as he looked at the map. "Dang…I never knew there was a town called terra." He said as they walked down the dirt road.
"I knew there was." Marcus said looking over at the map.
"Well I don't travel outside Miracle city much." Manny said rolling up the map.
"Eh true."
They were both silent after that they were both silent. Manny tried to think of something to talk about. He was never alone with Marcus much. When they were someone had always come to talk to them and most of the time Frida and Ronnie were always with them. Manny didn't know what to talk about, he was actually pretty nervous to try and get to know Marcus sometimes.
"Uhh…" Manny said looking around
"Hm?" Marcus said looking at him.
"It's going to be a long walk." Manny said kicking a rock.
"Yup, we need to find some good stopping points ahead. Hopefully some good fast food restraints too." Marcus said smiling.
Manny chuckled "Yeah! My stomach's growling already just thinking about it."
"What did you bring along to eat?" Marcus asked
"I brought some sandwiches, soda, chips and other stuff. What about you?"
"Well I pretty much brought the same stuff that you did, that and some sweets." Marcus said looking through his back pack.
"Nice!" Manny said with a big smile.
And then there was silence again. Yet again he didn't know what to talk about with Marcus. He didn't understand why it was so hard for him to strike up a good conversation with Marcus. To him it should be very easy but for some reason it was hard.
"You're awfully quite." Marcus said looking at Manny.
Manny flinched a bit and glared at Marcus "I can say the same for you!" he shouted.
Marcus chuckles "You're just adorable Manny."
"Shut up."
Marcus just laughs and smiles. Manny looks over at Marcus and looks at his sword.
"Hey Marcus…how did you get into using swords anyway? I mean you are practically a master of fire." Manny asked.
"Well I learned swordsmanship first before I started trying to control my fire ability. And let me tell you…it wasn't a fun task at all."
"I bet. Fire is very dangerous to control."
"Exactly, but I'm a fast learner. I got the hang of it…well some of it."
"I know what you mean. I still haven't tapped into the full potential yet. My EL Tigre powers have so much more to it and yet I don't know much about it." Manny explained.
"Yeah…and then there's…this." Marcus put his hand on his chest "That stupid hado thing that Tetsuo left in me a year ago…"
"Didn't Coach Ryu seal it?" Manny asked
"He did. But to be honest I can break the seal at any moment I want." Marcus said shrugging. "It's not strong seal as Ryumaru thought."
"You aren't planning on using that hado power are you?" Manny said looking at him.
"No way…will I ever use anything of Tetsuo…that son of a bitch…"
"I see." Manny said rubing his arm "he's still out there too…"
"Enough talk about Tetsuo already…" Marcus said irritably
"Yeah…sorry," Manny said rubbing the back of his head "Hey…about that thing you do with your eyes."
"Huh? You mean my Akuma no me?"
"Yeah…what's that all about? Doesn't hurt your eyes?" Manny said looking closely at Marcus eyes.
"No it doesn't. It just gives me a sharp boost in ability…well not fire ability. To be honest the Akuma no me was truly meant to see the spiritual aura of a ghost or demonic spirit. But the more I trained with it the more I learned there's more to it than that." Marcus explained
"Oh yeah you did mention you use to hunt ghost." Manny said with his finger and thumb on his chin. "Did you ever go and play the ghost buster theme in the background?"
"Great…now whenever I do fight some demonic spirit I can't knock the ghost buster theme out of my head!" Marcus shouted at Manny.
Manny started laughing and fell to the ground holding his stomach.
Marcus stopped walking. He turned around and scans the area behind him.
Manny looked up at Marcus and looked behind him as well. "What's wrong?" he asked.
Marcus kept looking and then looked at Manny.
"Nothing…I thought I heard something but I was wrong." Marcus responded rubbing the back of his head.
Night was starting to come upon them, and it was getting colder. Stars appeared in the sky and the moon was crescent. Manny and Marcus had made a bonfire in large open field. They sat down and started eating the food that they brought.
"These are good cookies! Did you make them?" Manny asked with his mouth full of cookies.
"Nah I bought them. Miracle city has a nice sweet shop." Marcus said taking a huge gulp of water.
"So what do you think kind of mission my Dad and everyone else is doing?" Manny said drinking a can of Pepsi.
"To be honest I'm not all that interested in knowing. It doesn't have anything to do with me so meh." Marcus responded as he lies back.
"Not really interested in much huh?"
"Not really. I'm pretty sure they can handle th-"Marcus quickly sat up and put his hand on sword.
Manny put down the cookies and looked at Marcus.
"We are not alone…" Marcus whispered. Manny slowly put his hands on his EL Tigre belt. "How many?" he asked.
Marcus activated his akuma no me. He saw a total of 7 people hiding in the shadows carrying axes, metal bats and machetes.
"7." Marcus whispered "I'll go in first…you know what to do."
Manny smirked and nods.
Marcus snatches his sword off the ground and hopes in the air. He spins in the air sending fireballs all around the area.
All 7 of the ambushers and shouted screamed and moved out the way. Manny spins his EL tigre belt and launches his grappling hook at one of the ambushers hitting them right in the face knocking him out.
3 other ambushers charge toward Marcus. Marcus takes a deep breath and breathes a large wave of fire at them. The 3 ambushers fell to the ground rolling trying to knock the fire off of them.
"I knew this was a bad idea…I knew we shouldn't have done this!" he said in fear and turn around and ran.
Manny slashed the remaining ambushers with his claws and sees one of the ambushers running off.
"No you don't!" Manny shouted and launches his grappling hook at the ambusher and hooks it on to the back of his shirt stopping him from running.
"And where do you think you're going my friend?" Marcus said kneeling down and looking at the man.
"P-please don't hurt me! I was only following orders!" The man said terrified.
"Following orders from whom?" Manny asked griping the man's shirt tightly.
The man trembled and his hands were shaking "I…I can't say!" he in shaken voice.
"Oh is that right?" Manny said smirking. "Marcus…pin him down…"
Marcus pins down the man on the ground.
"I didn't want to do this to anyone but you leave me with no choice!" Manny said darkly as he reached into his pocket.
"What exactly are you going to do?" Marcus asked curiously
Manny smirks and pulls out a white feather. Marcus blankly looks at Manny "Really?"
"Yup," Manny lifts up the man's arm and starts rubbing the feather on his arm pit. The man starts laughing and wiggling around. "S-Stop! PLEASE! AHAHAHAHA!"
"Tell us what we want to know and I'll all stop!" Manny said smirking.
"OK! OK! I WAS SENT BY MY LEADER FROM TERRA TOWN!" The man screamed.
"What?" Marcus said a bit surprised "How the hell did they know we were even coming?"
"We…We had spy's in Miracle city. When you were talking to this guy on top of me he contacted our leader and he sent us after you tow." the man explained
"And who is the leader?" Marcus asked
"The leader is…I-is…Ah…AHHHHH!"
Marcus eyes widen and he hopped of the man. The man started rolling on the ground clenching his stomach. "AHHHH NOOO! PLEASE! I WASN"T REALLY GOING TO TELL! I WAS GOING TO LIE!"
"What the heck is wrong with this guy?" Manny said looking at the man.
Then suddenly the man completely stopped struggling. Starting from his stomach, solid rock slowly spread around his body. He let out one last small scream and then he was now completely stone.
"W-what happened to him?" Manny said in disbelief "He…he just turned to stone just like that…"
"Judging by how the way he was acting. Whoever the hell the leader is put some type of instant kill ability on this guy. If he gives up the location or tells who the leader is dies instantly." Marcus explained.
"T-that's sick…" Manny whispered.
Marcus sheeted his sword "Come on…we should get moving…no time to waste." He said slowly.
Manny nods and they both on the road again
Morning
The sun had risen. Birds were tweeting in the background. Manny rubbed his eyes and yawned. He looks over at Marcus who didn't look tired at all.
"Are we there yet?" Manny said in a drowsy tone.
Marcus stopped walking and looked forward. "Actually…yeah we are." He said pointing forward. Over the edge they were standing on was Terra town, a town that had large buildings, and above the town was by far the largest mountains that Manny and Marcus had ever seen.
"Wow…Man this is one hell of a town…it's more like a city than anything else." Manny said amazed
"And people are disappearing in there." Marcus said "Well let's go shall we?"
Manny looks at Marcus "Yeah,"
They walked into the town. It was almost empty, there were a few citizens just sitting outside their homes. Not a sound was made. Everyone was quite.
"Mommy...where's daddy? Isn't he coming home?" A boy asked tugging on her mother's shirt.
"I…I don't know sweetie…" The mother said rubbing her head "he'll be back don't worry."
"Oh man…" Manny said in a sad tone. He looked over at a kid sitting over by a wall with his face buried in his knees. Manny walked over to the kid and knelled down to him.
"Hey…" Manny whispered. "You ok?"
"My mom…and my dad…I haven't seen them in days…I miss them…" the kid whispered
Marcus gripped his sword, and veins appeared around his hand as he did. He looked over at the mountains and he glared.
"Manny…come on. Let's do this." Marcus said determinedly
"Right, let's go." Manny said cracking his knuckles
Manny and Marcus headed up the road that leads to the large mountains. The trail kept getting longer and the path kept going up and up. Paths went from right, left, right again and then straight forward. Manny stopped walking and looked around. The woods were awfully thick and full of large trees. He could see large building like rocks also.
"So where are we suppose to looking?" Manny said
"Not sure really…" Marcus said rubbing his head and looking around "I'm really sure we are not going to let them get me on so easily I can tell you that for sure."
Manny and Marcus attention turned to the path up ahead. They could hear two people talking and coming towards them.
"Hope In the trees, hurry!" Marcus whispered to Manny. They both hopped into the nearest trees and hid there. Two men carrying swords with them walked and had the symbols earth in Japanese on their clothing.
"How Many more people do we need anyway?" The tall one said.
"I don't know and I really don't care. As long as we get paid I'll keep doing it." said the short one.
"No one's even traveling up these mountains anymore. We might have to go into town and get more people." The tall one said swinging his sword at a tree cutting it.
"Not a bad idea actually," The short one said smirking.
Manny gritted his teeth and extends his claws. "These bastards…" Manny whispered. He laid his hand on a week branch and it snapped, and then fell to the ground.
"Huh? What the hell?" said the short one and he looked up.
Manny dropped down from the tress and landed on the short one. "ACK!" screamed the short one in pain.
"HEY! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Roared the tall one, he raises his sword in the air attempting to strike at Manny. But Marcus hoped down from the tree and spin kicks the tall in the face sending him to the ground.
"Argh! Who the hell are you punks?!" The short one demanded to know.
"Shut up!" Manny said throwing a right hand punch at the short knocking out a tooth. "Where the hell are the people you are keeping as slaves? AWNSER ME!"
"You bastards, we aren't telling you anything!" The short one said glaring. Manny extended his claws and sunk them into the man's shoulder. The man screamed in pain and blood leaked out of his shoulder.
"TELL US!" Manny demanded glaring at the man.
"Better hurry up. Or we might end up doing something we don't want to do." Marcus said darkly.
"F-Fine…just up the hill there's a passage way blocked by a huge rock. It leads to where the base is…but it's not like you can actually beat our leaders…" the short one said smirking.
Then the tall one started laughing "trying to be bold like the other fools that tried to come rescue them….but they all ended up dead…" the tall one continued laughing.
Marcus whacked the tall one in the back of his head with scabbard knocking him out. Manny takes his claws out the man's shoulder and punches him in the head knocking him out as well.
"They'll pay for this!" Manny said clenching his fist.
"Up the path, a large rock blocks the secret passage way. Shouldn't be too hard to find," Marcus said
Manny and Marcus continued up the path. The kept getting longer going up and path gotten wider, they reached the top. A large mountains wall was towering, over them. It was so tall it almost covered the sky.
"Damn…" Manny said shocked "is that the mountain we saw when we arrived here?"
"No…it's completely different actually." Marcus said walking down to the wall. "a large rock…blocking the path." Marcus repeated.
He eyes examined the area. He then spotted a large thick bolder that stood out the most by the mountain walls.
"Over there!" Marcus pointed out the large bolder. They headed towards the bolder. The more and more they close to it, the bigger it got.
Manny looked at the bolder, it was so large that It blocked the sun.
"How the heck are we suppose to move this?!" Manny said rubbing both of his hands on his head. Manny looked over at Marcus and then down at his sword.
"Can't you…slice it?" Manny asked.
"I've never really cut anything this big before." Marcus said scratching the back of his head.
Then the large bolder began to move. Manny and Marcus panic and they ran behind the nearest object and hid. The large rock lightly got off the ground and moved to the side. Out of the secret passage way came a tall women, probably 6,1 with long silk black hair, tanned skin, wearing a white rob carrying a long katana.
"Where the hell are those stupid buffoons?" She said clinching her fist. Her voice had the tone of a strong and powerful leader, like the voice of a strong and fearless commander. "They should have been back now."
"Well Madam…those two don't know how to do anything. They are simple minded." Said the tall pale white skinned man
The women lightly started sniffing. Then she shifted her eyes around the area.
"Something wrong Madam?" the pale skinned man said.
"Hmm…nothing, forget those fools. Let's continue with what we were doing." She said irritably and they both went into the passage way. The large bolder started to close.
"Crap! Come on Manny hurry!" Marcus said hopping out of hiding spot and heading to the passageway followed by Manny.
They manage to squeeze through the passageway just in time before closed shut right behind them.
"That was close…" Manny whispered
"We're in…" Marcus said looking straight forward.
"Dude…that women..." Manny said looking at Marcus.
"Yup," Marcus said nodding. He looked ahead seeing path leading to the light.
They walked forward slowly, heading towards the light path. Then they broke through the light path. Below them were thousands of people….carrying large rocks, covered in dirt sweat and blood. Even children were doing slave labor, and they looked worse, covered in cuts, their nails broken and their fingers bleeding. Every where they looked all they could see were people working and working, they witnessed one old man collapse on the ground. In the background they could see a large glowing blue object in the background.
"Dude…what the hell is this?" Manny said with his eyes twitching in shock and voice shuttering.
"This is sick…" Marcus whispered shaking in anger. "Who the hell would…"
Manny looked up in the air. He yelled in panic as he saw a large bolder heading right towards them.
"GET OF THE WAY!" Marcus said pushing Manny out of the way and tumbled down the dirt hill. The large bolder crashed into the cliff blocking the entrance of the secret path.
They tumbled down the dirt hill hitting a few rocks along the way and fell on to an even harder solid ground.
"Ah…damn it…" Marcus groaned rubbing the back of his head.
"Doing fantastic…" Manny said sarcastically
"Well…it's good to see you two trespassers are ok." The women said walking towards Manny and Marcus along with 10 others guards and the pale man.
"Well well…this is interesting…" The pale man said "The great EL tigre…in our land…what an honor this is."
[Alistair shade]
Height – 5,6
Ability – Art of Water
"EL Tigre? That kid from Miracle city? I had a feeling I would run into him sooner or later. If not him maybe White pantera…it doesn't matter. They'd be dead anyway."
[Noriko]
Height – 6,1
Ability – Art of Earth
"JUST WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU AFTER?! PUTTING ALL THESE PEOPLE THROUGH THIS! YOU CAN"T EVEN CALL YOURSELVES HUMAN!" Manny screamed
"Well I don't want to break a nail…so that's why I got other people to do it for me…" Noriko said staring blankly at Manny.
"YOU SICK BITCH!" Manny hopped to his feet and charged at Noriko.
"Alistair will you please?" Noriko said looking at her nails.
"Certainly madam," Alistair said pointing his finger at Manny
"MANNY STOP!" Marcus shouted
"Art of water, pin point blast," she whispered. A beam of water shoots out from Alistair's fingertip. Marcus pushes Manny out of the way, but the water Alistair blasted out of his finger cuts Marcus cheek and runs up the rock wall behind them leaving a large cut in the solid rock.
"What the…how did he?" Manny said confused "it's just water…"
"Don't underestimate elemental users Manny. He focused his water to his finger and configured into a pint point shot…so concentrated it could cut even rock…" Marcus explained
"Nicely explained, you know you're elemental arts." Alistair said licking his lips.
"So let me guess…You're here to rescue these pitiful townsfolk…" Noriko said glaring at Manny and Marcus. "Let me tell you two something…you won't save anyone, you're not strong as me, you won't beat us, you'll suffer the same fate as the rest who tried to come here."
Manny and Marcus got to their feet and narrowed their eyes at Noriko and Alistair.
"In summary…we are going to brutally kill you two…"
