A/N it's about that time for another EL Tigre the new adventures chapter! I know the updates can be slow at times but…well actually I don't really have an excuse. Sometimes I just get off and on when it comes to working on a chapter on a story. Especially when it comes to how the length of the chapter can be. I might have a new pole up on account soon about that. Anyway here is Chapter 60 of Season 2 Episode 37! Enjoy!
EL Tigre the new Adventures Season 2 Episode 37 - Frightened Justice Part 3
"You see Elizabeth. The way the world is going, it will need a strong, smart, and powerful leader. With my hands I want to build the right world, a world where everyone can live without fear and live in peace. But first, we start by eliminating the ones that fracture our dream…"
Elizabeth looked up at Barton. Her eyes widen with amazement, just like him, she shared the same dream. A dream of a wonderful world where there was no crime, killing or violence.
Barton turned to her and held out his hand smiling at her softly "Please…will you help me accomplish this? Elizabeth?" he asked in a hushed tone
Elizabeth smiled and reaches for his hand and grasped it tightly. Barton smiled down at her. Elizabeth smiled back.
"You'll do wonders Elizabeth…" Barton said confidently.
Elizabeth smiled warmly and closes her eyes, tears falling down her eyes and gliding down her cheeks.
Elizabeth opens her eyes. She noticed that she was reaching her hand out. She looks at the palm for her hand, and then closes it. She took a deep breath, wipes the tears from her eyes and looks at the view of Miracle city.
"Are you watching Barton? I hope you are…soon our dream will become a reality."

Miracle city was being evacuated. People were getting escorted out of their homes. Bomb squads were all over the streets and in the homes of Miracle city citizens searching for the bombs as quickly as they could.
"Damn this is bad…this is really really bad!" Frida said terrified.
"Shit! Those bombs could be anywhere!" Johnny said frustrated.
"And we don't even know where they are!" Carmen said panicking.
"Or how many bombs are hidden!" Manny said pasting back and forth.
"AHHHH! WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!" Ronnie panicked
"WILL EVERYONE JUST CALM DOWN!" Marcus roared at the top of his lungs. "WE HAVE ANYTIME RIGHT NOW TO START FREAKING OUT!"
"Well what the hell are we going to do?! Like Manny said we don't know where the bombs are!" Johnny said
"Well let's not search in places where normal bombs would be!"
"Well where would she put the bombs then?" Frida asked.
"Places that she personally wants to target…" Manny added in.
"Exactly, right now we need to look for key points in Miracle city that she wants to target! She wouldn't be after any homes because of her philosophy. She wants to target heroes." Marcus explained.
"So…where should we start looking?" Carmen asked.
"Yeah, and how many do you think there are?! Remember we still don't know where to look!" Ronnie said hastily while shaking Marcus.
"I'm thinking as fast as I can!" Marcus shouted at Ronnie. "Manny, Frida you two know this city better than any of us do, what would that crazy girl want to blow up first?!"
"Umm…well…I mean…" Frida started thinking
"Uhhh…uhh…" Manny started roughly rubbing his head
"DAMN IT MANNY! START THINKING FAST!" Marcus screamed at Manny.
"HEY I"M TRYING! I'M NOT USE TO THINKING THIS HARD!" Manny screamed back.
"WAIT! MANNY REMEMBER THAT HERO CONVENTION YOU WENT TO WITH YOUR DAD?!" Frida said grabbing Manny by his shoulders.
Manny's eyes suddenly went wide. "THE HALL OF HEROS!" he said quickly. "ONE OF THEM HAS GOT TO BE THERE!"
"Well what the hell are we standing here for?! Let's hurry!" Johnny said hastily.
"RIGHT!" They all said as they sprinted down the street straight towards the hall of hero's.

"Not a single bomb has been found yet. We and the miracle city police squad have searched every possible place the bombs could be placed, but as of now we've found nothing!" Cosmic Cleopatra explained. She and a couple of hero's were all standing together inside the hall of hero's building.
"We are on borrowed time! We shouldn't be holding a meeting right now!" Seven samurai said eagerly.
"How are we supposed to look for something we can't find? I've looked everywhere, cleo has looked everywhere! Everyone has looked everywhere! We don't know where the bombs are!" Silver sombrero said discouraged
"That and we don't know how MANY there are!" The industrialist clarified
"Exactly!" Silver Sombrero fretted
"AND WHY DOES IT SOUND LIKE YOU WANT TO GIVE UP?!" Cosmic Cleopatra snapped standing up from her seat
"It's not that it's-" Before silver Sombrero could finish. Manny and others busted through the doors of the hall of hero's and rushed in. Everyone turned to the front entrance and stared at the group surprised.
"Quick! We have to search the building! There could be a bomb in here!" Manny said quickly.
"What?!" Cosmic Cleopatra said with her eyes widen.
"A bomb here in the hall of hero's? Impossible!" The industrialist said confidently.
"What do you mean Impossible?! Have you not bothered to check?!" Cosmic Cleopatra said batting her eyes at the industrialist.
"Nobody could even get past its defenses while we aren't here! Even if they did they would be trapped inside and imprisoned will we arrive back here!"
"What the hell? How careless can you be you dumbass!" Marcus roared at the industrialist.
As soon as Marcus said that the defenses in the hall of hero's kicked in. The front entrances doors quickly closed and the large metal wall blocked off the opening. The same happened around the building. Any opening to the hall of hero's was completely closed off.
"The defenses are active?! Who activated them?!" Silver sombrero said shocked.
"Well…that would be me actually. It was shockingly easy for me to get into." Elizabeth said, her voice speaking through a loud speaker in the building.
"It's her!" Frida blurted out
"But is she here?" Ronnie yelped
"Damn it how the hell did she get in and the security systems didn't kick?!" The industrialist said in disbelief.
"Search the building for her! HURRY!" Silver sombrero ordered.
"Don't bother. Besides I'm not in the building at all." Elizabeth said simply. "It's stupid…why would I be in a building that's about to be blown to oblivion?"
"Blown to Oblivion?!" Silver Sombrero said breathlessly. He quickly turns toward the entrance doors.
"Don't even think about it. If you try and force your way out of here…KA-BOOM!" Elizabeth said giggling.
"I just don't understand, when did she do all of this?!" The industrialist said panicking.
"Do you honestly think I'm that stupid? I had this all planned out from the beginning. Tch you so called heroes are so pathetic, arrogant and only think of nothing but fame! I'm going to sit here quietly and watch you all panic as you get blow to noting!" Elizabeth said with hatred in her voice as she cuts off the loud speaker.
"I can't believe this…I can't believe this has happened! What are we going to do?!" The industrialist said placing both his hands on his head while sweating beads.
"This is your fault! You and your careless actions are going to get us all killed!" Silver sombrero screamed.
"You're saying it's my fault?! Who's the one who wanted to hold some pointless meeting?!" The industrialist said glaring at Silver Sombrero.
"Ugh! I'm so glad I left this stupid group! What I saw in these idiots's is beyond me!" Cosmic Cleopatra said rubbing her forehead annoyed.
They continued to argue, insults and threats being tossed back and forth between Silver sombrero and the industrialist, also with a few comments from cosmic Cleopatra.
"GOD DAMN IT WILL YOU ALL SHUT THE HELL UP?!" Marcus screamed. His voiced echoed in the room. Silver Sombrero and the industrialist turned to Marcus and looked at the six of them. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT?! SITTING HERE ARGUING LIKE A BUNCH OF KIDS WHILE WE ARE LITERLY SITTING ON A DAMN BOMB?!"
"Right, who knows how much time we have?" Frida added in just as angry
"Took the words right out of my mouth…" Ronnie said shaking her head.
"Seriously its wonder that a lot of these guy's fail at their day to day hero jobs…" Johnny said rubbing the back of his head.
"Just wait till you guys here about the time that I met these guy's…" Manny said with his arms crossed.
Silver sombrero and the industrialist glared at them "Hold on a second! Just who do you kids think you ar-"
"ENOUGH! AS HE SAID WE ARE WASTING TIME ARGUING BACK AND FORTH!" Seven samurai said through his teeth.
"So where should we start looking?" Frida said looking at Manny.
"Uhh…" Manny said looking around at the room. "No Idea…"
Marcus started grinning and let's out confident laugh. "Just leave it to me…" he said looking at Manny.
"Yeah…we're all going to die…" Ronnie said sadly
"H-Hey, now hold on second! I've been in situations like this many times before!" Marcus blurted out
"We're defiantly done for…"Johnny said twirling his hair.
"SCREW YOU!" Marcus screamed at Johnny.
Frida clenches her fist and starts shaking with anger and then screams "DO I NEED TO REMIND YOU THAT WE ARE GOING TO BLOW UP SOON IF WE DON"T FIND THIS BOMB!"
"But where should we start looking? It could be anywhere!" Cosmic Cleopatra said looking at Frida.
"The one thing we can exclude is that she didn't put it in obvious places bombs would be." Marcus said "Maybe…" Marcus puts his hands on the ground and closes his eyes.
"What are you doing?!" Silver Sombrero asked irritably.
"Damn it shut up! I'm trying to find the damn bomb!" Marcus said through his teeth. Everyone didn't say a word. Marcus remembered the time he had to do this before. He started Listening to the sound of building itself, listening to every bit of sound in the building, and then. He then heard 2 beeping noise coming from under their feet.
"Found it!" Marcus said yelled. "It's right under our feet!"
"Impossible! B-but when did that girl do this?!" The industrialist stuttered.
"No time to be shocked! We need to deal with this now!" Cosmic Cleopatra said. She holds out her hands, the snakes appear out from her hair and their eyes glowed purple. Everyone stood back as the ground, piece by piece, was coming apart.
The bomb lied in the ground. The size of it was the size of a basketball. The timer on it read 10minutes and 40 seconds counting down. There were five different wires on the left and right. On the right, there were one red, one blue, one green, one black, and one yellow wire, and on the left, one purple, one orange, one white, and one pink wire.
"Ok…so…anyone ever disable a bomb before?" Frida asked chuckling nervously.
Everyone looked at each other. Marcus smirks and shakes his head. He walks over to the bomb and takes out a pocket knife and kneels down to the bomb.
"HEY! What are you doing?! Do you actually know how to defuse a bomb?!" Silver Sombrero said with concern and fear in his voice.
"Have you ever actually defused a bomb before Marcus?" Manny asked curiously
"Of course I have!" Marcus said. His eyes completely focused on the bomb. Marcus then went into deep thought. "Ok…each side has different wires…she also said that if we tried to force ourselves out of the building this whole place would blow…so that means…" Marcus places the pocket knife down and carefully puts his hands around the bomb and gently lifts it. "Just as I thought…" under the bomb, were more wires, leading underground.
"More wires underground?" Cosmic Cleopatra whispered.
"This is the main bomb…the wires probably lead to more around the building…" Marcus explained. Marcus picks up the pocket knife and slowly moves it from the right to the left of bombs.
Ronnie bites her nails while sweating. Manny was watching nervously while sweating even more. Everyone was on edge, sweating and nervously hopping they wouldn't be seeing the bomb suddenly go off.
Marcus cuts the black wire. Everyone flinches covers there face expecting the bomb to blow up…but there was no explosion. They looked down at the hole to see Marcus and the bomb still there, but the bombs time froze on 6minutes.
"YOU DID IT!" Manny, Ronnie and Frida screamed.
But the excitement was cut short when the time on the bomb was suddenly counting down faster. Everyone let out a terrified scream as the timer on the bomb drew closer to zero.
"I THOUGHT YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING MARCUS!" Manny said hopping down in the hole and violently shaking Marcus.
"I ONLY DID THIS ONCE!" Marcus cried.
"NOOO WE"RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" Silver Sombrero panicked.
Manny panicked, and quickly extended the claw on his index finger then slashes all the wires on the left. Everyone completely froze when Manny cut the wires. They stood there not knowing what was going to happen. But to everyone's surprise there was no explosion. Marcus turned to the bomb. The timer was frozen on 3 seconds.
"D-d-i-i-is it defused?" Ronnie asked timidly.
Marcus and Manny blinked a few times. They both stared at the bomb, the timer didn't countdown.
"Holy shit…holy shit…" Marcus said places his hand on his chest where his heart was "I really thought I was going to die…"
Elizabeth blankly stared at the monitor she was watching them from. "…..what?" she whispered "You. Have. . Be. Kidding. Me."
"DAMN IT MANNY WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Frida screamed at Manny.
"YOU JUST CARELESSLY JUST GOT ALL THE GOD DAMN WRIES!" Marcus said gripping Manny's scarf.
"WELL DAMN IF I DIDN"T DO THAT WE"D ALL BE DEAD! AND YOU ARE THE ONE WHO ALMOST GOT US KILLED!" Manny screamed at Marcus. "YOU SAID YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING!"
"YOU THINK IT"S EASY TO DEFUSE A BOMB?!"
"Oh my goodness…" Carmen said rubbing her head "I swear my life just flashed before my eyes…"
"Freaking idiots…"Johnny said shaking his head.
"YAY WE DIDN"T BLOW UP!" Ronnie said cheerfully.
"Ugh…that was a pretty bad scare…" Comic Cleopatra said letting out a sigh.
"This is what happens when you let children do our jobs…" Silver Sombrero spat.
"HEY!" Marcus said turning to the Silver Sombrero "At least we were doing something you sombrero hat throwing bastard!"
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" Silver sombrero said, veins appearing around his head.
"That's enough. If you all need a reminding there are more bombs out in miracle city. We need to go and take care of this." Seven Samurai said opening the front door to the hall of hero's. "Come on! We must continue searching!"
Everyone walked out the hall of hero's building. Cosmic Cleopatra, Seven Samurai and the industrialist went on to help the Miracle city police force. The group walked out of the building, already feeling tired.
"Well…that was one…and very complicated tricky one…" Frida said tiredly.
"Heh…and we didn't even solve it. Manny just used his instincts and got lucky." Johnny laughed.
"Well I wouldn't call it instincts. More like panicking." Manny said rubbing the back of his head and smiling nervously.
"So…" Carmen said looking at everyone "Where should we start looking now?"
"Blank…" Frida said shrugging
Johnny sighs "Don't ask me…"
"Uhhhh…" Ronnie said rubbing her head.
"I'm sure we got lucky just guessing where the first one was…" Marcus said with his arms crossed.
"I was going to say the volcano but…that would be to obvious right?" Manny said asking Marcus.
"Yeah, and besides that would be too obvious…" Marcus said staring at the ground trying to think.
"UGHH! MAN THIS IS BAD!" Manny groaned in annoyance
"Now how are we, going to find out where the next bomb is located?!" Frida said thinking as hard a she could.
Across the street from the where the group where standing were a few police officers, the officers were leaning on the hood of their police vans looking fatigued and munching on some snacks.
"Yeah…drink coffee and stuff your faces while the city is in crisis…" Johnny said scowling at the officers.
The officers stood there with tired and anxious expressions on their faces. They rubbed the heads and gently sipped their coffee.
"This…is a very stressful…we've been searching all day…" The short officer said tiredly, taking sip of his
"We don't know how many there are or here they are…I mean if we jus- huh?" The chubby officer takes out his walkie talkie "Unit 13 here what's the situation?"
"Hey guys…they got something." Johnny whispered to them.
"Huh?" Manny looked over to the officers. When the group looked over at the officers. They had shocked expressions on their faces, their jaws dropped slightly.
"Who did you say was attached to the bomb?!" The chubby officer said in a quivering tone.
"Someone's attached to a bomb?!" Manny said with eyes widen.
The Officers looked over at the gang. The short officer saw Frida and hurried over to her.
"Ms Suarez, we've located the bomb but…you see…it's…" The short officer was hesitant to tell her. "The bomb…it's attached to your sister Nikita…"
Frida blankly stared at the officer in shock. Frida whispered "N-Nikita?!" she said with fear and worry in her voice. "Where is she?! TAKE ME TO HER NOW!" she screamed gripping the short officer by the collar of his uniform.
"You'd better hurry Frida Suarez." Elizabeth said through the walkie talkie. The officers looked down at his walkie talkie in shock "Unless you want to see how your sister looks like when she's bleeding like a stuffed pig.
"YOU BITCH!" Frida roared.
"Hey where the hell are they?!" Manny asked the officer quickly
"Heheh…come to Miracle city plaza. But you better hurry if you really love your sister." Elizabeth said giggling evily.
"What did she say?!" Frida said clenching her fist in frustration. "DAMN IT! COME ON GUY"S WE NEED TO GO NOW!" She ordered while glaring at the officers.
"Y-Yes mam, we'll drive you all there, come on!" The chubby officer said quickly. Everyone rushed to the police officers vehicles and hopped in. The chubby officer started the vehicle and they were off to Miracle city plaza.
At the Miracle city Plaza
"D-Dad…" Nikita whispered quietly.
"It's ok Nikita…everything will be ok…" Emiliano said calmly.
"Sis…" Anita said worriedly. "D-don't worry, they are going to get this bomb off of you."
Bomb squads were all around Nikita, trying their best to figure out how to crack the defuse the bomb. The bomb was latched on around Nikita's upper body. The bomb itself resembled a beetle. The timer was its back and it had 15minutes counting down.
"Well, what's the hold up?" Emiliano asked the bomb squads captain impatiently
"Well we're trying to pry it open! If we can get it open we can defuse it!" The bomb squad's captain replied.
"Try harder damn it." Emiliano said through his teeth glaring the captain.
"We are trying sir we are trying!" The bomb squad captain said wiping the sweat off his head.
"NIKITA!" Frida called out to her sister. Manny, frida and the other's had arrived at Miracle city plaza. Frida opens the door and runs through the crowd of officers.
"F-Frida!" Nikita called out to her happily.
Frida looked at the bomb that was strapped around Nikita's body. The bomb was shaped like beetle, the legs were clasped around Nikita's body, the opening that bomb squad was trying to open was red.
"This is different from the bomb we defused…" Frida said staring at the bomb.
"Wait, what?" Emiliano said looking Frida and the gang
"Sorry but we'll explain what happened later!" Manny said walking over to Nikita and Frida "But right now we have a bomb to defuse."
"Right," Frida said determined
"Well that's a weird looking bomb…it looks like a bug…" Carmen said staring at the bomb.
"They've tried to pry it open but they haven't had any luck…" Anita explained.
"Pry it open?" Ronnie said confused. She looks at the hard back shell that was on the bomb.
The bomb squads caption began "We warned by her. If we tried to remove the bomb off of her it woul-"
"Blow up? Yeah we know. You can trust us on that…" Johnny said
"No…the bomb won't blow."
"Huh?" Frida said raising an eyebrow. "If it's not going to blow then, what will it do?"
"If we don't defuse this bomb, it will impale every single vital part of her body…"
The six of them stared at captain in shock. They turned towards the bomb, and the countdown was now at 9minutes.
Marcus stared at the hardback shell of the bomb. He can see tiny scratch marks around the sealing of the shell.
"They were too timid." Marcus said gripping his sword.
"Are you really going to try that?" Johnny asked raising an eyebrow.
"Huh?" Manny turned around and looked at Marcus ads he walked past. "Hey wait a second Marcus…" he whispered.
Marcus walked over to Nikita focusing on the hardback shell. Emiliano glares at Marcus as he did.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Emiliano said aggressively. "Don't you even try it you hear me?!"
Marcus didn't answer. Frida got up and stared at him. Marcus stared back.
"I'll ask you. Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Frida asked with much seriousness in her voice
"Frida…trust me with this…" Marcus said sincerely.
Frida sighed and she stepped out the way. Marcus grips the handle of his katana. Nikita stared at him with fear in her eyes.
"What? Are you going to try and cut the bomb off of her?" Elizabeth said through one of the walkie talkie's on the short officer "Do that and you'll kill her."
"No…I'm not going to cut it off her. Honestly I couldn't trust myself that much too even try…but." Marcus put his complete focus on the hard shell of the bomb. Nikita closes her eyes whimpering in fear.
Marcus quickly drew his sword; it took three swift slashes, and Marcus sheathed his sword. Nikita slowly opened one eye and looked down at the bomb. In X shape cut appeared on the hardback shell on the bomb, and it fell on the ground into four pieces.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!" shouted Marcus, staring at inside of the beetle bomb.
Elizabeth let out a mischievous giggle that turned into a loud laugh and said "Surprised?"
"Those aren't wires…" Manny said shaking his head.
Inside the beetle bomb were not wires, but many different color switches that were mixed around and bungled up. The bomb squad's captain stared at the switches in confusion. His eyes explored the switches nervously and he started to sweat.
"I…I I don't know what do…" stuttered the bomb squad captain.
"It's like a rubix cube." Said Ronnie walking over to the bomb stared at it.
Manny raised an eyebrow "A rubix cube? Yeah I never really solved one…" he looked over at Marcus.
"I never had the patience to solve one…" Marcus said and he looks over at Johnny and Carmen.
Johnny held up his hands and said "Hey don't look at me. I never even bothered with them." He looked at Carmen
"Actually I did solve one time with a trick. You see you smash it into pieces and put it back together, there! solved!" Carmen explained with a smile. Her smile soon faded and she chuckles nervously "Yeah we can't do that with the bomb…"
"Come on guy's this isn't anything to joke about!" said Frida shooting them a nasty glare. "We need to do something!"
"I'm already on it." Ronnie said, who with her speed, was already working on the rubix cube like puzzle. No one in crowd could see how fast Ronnie was moving the switches around. The timer was now at 5minutes. Ronnie's eyes were moving just as fast as her fingers were as she was trying to align the colors in order.
"Tricky…" Ronnie whispered "Very tricky…"
"What? Do you think you can solve it just by using your speed?" Elizabeth taunted. "Tch…get real…"
Ronnie ignored Elizabeth and kept focus. Ronnie started to think back to all the times she use solve puzzles, and how she always came out on top with solving what seemed like it impossible puzzles to solve.
The countdown was not at 3 minutes.
"Come on Ronnie…" Frida cheered on silently.
Ronnie stopped, and looked at what she was doing, and her eyes widen and her excitement grew "AHA!" she said forming a smile on her face. She picked up the pace and started moving around the different color switches. One by one the colors started align up.
Elizabeth watches, her jaw dropped slightly. "NO! WHAT?!" she shouted
Ronnie had finished. The switches were all completely aligned. The timer was on 2 minutes and it froze. The beetle bomb that was attached around Nikita had detached itself from her and fell to the ground.
"Done," Ronnie said smiling
Everyone that was in the plaza broke into a loud cheer. Emiliano, Frida and Anita embraced Nikita; they both hugged each other in happiness and relief. Frida looks over at Ronnie and then hugs her tightly.
"Ronnie, thank you so much!" said Frida happily "You were amazing!"
Ronnie's cheeks became read "Heh…It wasn't anything special." She said embarrassed.
"And thanks to you to Marcus." Frida said looking over at Marcus.
"Nah it wasn't…I mean…" Marcus rubbed the back of his neck trying to avoiding looking embarrassed
"Yes. Thank you both. I should start having more faith in the younger generation of those of the future. Again…thank you both…" Emiliano said sincerely.
"Jeez…" Ronnie said as her face started to turn red.
Elizabeth watched them. She clinches her fist and grits her teeth and says "I can't believe this…how I could have been so foolish!" she banged her hands on the table. "DAMN IT ALL! HOW DARE THEY SMILE! HOW DARE THEY GET TO BE HAPPY?" She started to panting, taking in light breathes. She slowly starts to calm down and she looks over at the red teddy bear in the corner.
"You know. Sometimes I forget how deadly you can be when you use that katana Marcus." Said Manny staring at Marcus sword
"This is nothing honestly. To be honest I'm super rusty right now and I really need to brush up on my training." Marcus explained gripping the hilt of his katana.
"Hey Ronnie, what was the trick with that bomb anyway?" asked Carmen
"Well the whole puzzle was built for anyone who was a pro at solving a rubix cube. She made to where anyone had any particular knowledge of how solving one with any short cuts or special ways would easily fail." Ronnie explained.
"And you knew the trick?" Manny asked.
"Yup, you have to align them the in wrong way. Then align them backwards, and then align them in the right way and then align them here and there…" Ronnie went on and on.
"Wait…what?" Marcus said confused.
"Align them were and what?" Frida said
"How did you understand something so complicated?" Johnny asked
"Oh! The same trick was used on my…uh…" Ronnie suddenly became quite, she thought about her grandmother.
"Huh?" Manny said looking at Ronnie "What?"
"I saw the same trick get pulled on someone else. Yup," Ronnie said quickly
"Oh…well, anyway that's another bomb down!" Manny said pumped up
"Let's not get too excited. Remember, there could be more bombs hidden somewhere." Johnny said looking down at the beetle shaped bomb
"No…" Elizabeth said through one of the officers "That's all the bombs that I prepared."
"Huh? That's all?" Carmen said surprised
"She only prepared two?" Manny said confused
"To be honest, I didn't expect any of you to defuse the second one. You had much luck on your side with the first bomb, but the second…humph…I know who the smartest one of the group is now at least…" said Elizabeth, her voice horse and trembling a bit.
"Yup!" Ronnie said grinning.
"I mean I could have figured it out…" Marcus said crossing his arms with an angry expression.
"Sure you could…" Said Manny, rolling his eyes
"By the sound of your voice it looks like you give up huh?" Said Frida using much sass in her voice as possible.
Elizabeth lets out a short laugh "No…not by a long shot…I'll just dispose of all you myself…" she said sinisterly. Then the walkie talkie cuts off.
"Hmm…she sounded pissed…" Johnny said looking at Manny.
"Very…" Manny responded
"So what should we do? Wait for her to come to us?" Carmen asked looking at Manny.
"That's the only option to be honest. We don't know where she is." Manny responded.
"We will find her." Emiliano said certainly "I'll make sure of that. Units 4 and 8 head out! We are going on a hunt!"
"SIR!" The men of units said together. They all hurried to the vehicles and got in, and they all drove out of the plaza heading their separate ways.
"She could be anywhere though…" Said Ronnie watching the vehicles leave out
"Any ideas of where she could be?" Marcus asked turning to Manny.
"No clue." Manny said "Like Ronnie said she could be anywhere."
The ground rumbled, and flames could be seen coming from one of the police vehicles.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Emiliano roared.
More explosions were heard coming from the same direction. The seven vehicles that were driving out were blown apart. Standing on the building watching the vehicles burn and the smoke rise into the sky, was Elizabeth Moore, holding mini grenade launcher in her hand.
Elizabeth was suddenly tackled to the ground of the building, the weapon knocked out of her hand and both her arms pinned down. Ronnie was on top of her and she glared right at her.
"You sick twisted bitch!" Ronnie screamed at her "HOW CAN YOU JUST KILL SO EASILY WITHOUT EVEN THINKING OF WHO THEY ARE?!"
"You are so naïve…" Said Elizabeth, staring emotionlessly into Ronnie's eyes
"What? I'm naïve?!" Ronnie said confused
Elizabeth uses her middle finger to press a button on the palm of her glove and a surge of electricity went through Ronnie's body; she let out a cry of pain as she was and fell over twitching.
"RONNIE!" Manny called out to her as shoots his grappling hook to the building, pulls himself up and lands on the roof.
Elizabeth reaches into her coat pocket and pulls out at flash bomb and tosses it to the ground near Manny. The flash bang goes off blocking Manny's field of vision and his ears were ringing.
"AH! DAMN IT!" Manny said placing his hands around his eyes.
Elizabeth rushed over to Manny, bawls up her fist and slugs him right in the face knocking him off the roof.
Elizabeth froze; she could feel the cold blade held against her neck. Marcus was standing behind her pressing the sharp tip of his katana against her neck.
"That's enough. You aren't going to get any further." Marcus said. He looked down at the ground at Manny "Hey Manny! You ok?!"
"I'm fine!" Manny responded holding his head "Flash bangs aren't a joke at all!"
"What about you Ronnie?"
"I'm fine!" Ronnie said as the static went up her body "OW!"
"Will you kill me?" Elizabeth asked casually
"Don't be stupid…" Marcus said batting his eyes at her.
Elizabeth slowly turned around to face Marcus "You hero's are all alike…you think you're doing something to help people but it's nothing but an excuse."
"Say what?!" Manny shouted glaring up at her.
"I wouldn't really classify myself as a hero, I do what I want." Marcus stated "I understand what's right from wrong."
"No you don't." Elizabeth said scowling "You don't understand at all…"
"And what's there to understand?!" Manny said hopping back onto the roof "Or is all of this about Barton?"
Elizabeth shoots a deadly look at Manny, and Manny glared back.
"The only way to free the world from fear is to kill the corrupt filth within in! AND THAT"S WHAT I'M GOING TO DO! I"M GOING TO MAKE BARTONS DREAM A REALITY!" Elizabeth cried.
Marcus eyes widen and he stared at her. He couldn't believe what he heard. Those words that she spoke sounded so familiar to him.
"RIVERA! MARCUS!" Emiliano called out to them, both Manny and Marcus looked down at him. "Hurry up and restrain her!"
Elizabeth took advantage of their slight distraction and leaps off the building and lands on the ground and sprints off.
"DAMN IT MARCUS!" Manny screamed at Marcus
"THAT LITTLE- COME ON!" Marcus yelled, he and Manny leaped off the building and ran after her.
Elizabeth reached into her coat pocket and pulled out five red balls, turns around and tosses it to the ground near Manny and Marcus.
"SHIT LOOK OUT!" Manny said as they both hopped back and the small red bombs exploded making a big dust cloud.
"Damn it she's always got something up her sleeve!" Marcus said fanning the dust away from his face.
The two of them could see Elizabeth running towards a large abandoned house. She quickly opened the door and went in.
"Hey…it looked like she was headed toward that abandoned building. " Manny said looking at Marcus.
"It could be trap…she made it way to obvious she went in there." Marcus said rubbing the back of his head.
"I know a way we can get around to her without her noticing. "
"Sounds good...but…"
"Huh? But what?"
"HEY GUYS!" Frida called out to him, she was followed by Ronnie, Carmen and Johnny.
"You two ok?" Carmen asked
"Yeah we're fine." Manny replied "We know where the girl is headed. We're going to try and corner her."
"Alright let's get her!" Frida said determined
"Wait a second!" Marcus said, and they all looked at him "Can you four hold off the police force for a couple of minutes?"
"What?!" They all said together
"Why?!" Manny asked confused
"I need to talk to her…" Marcus said with a bit of uncertainty in his voice.
"You want to talk to her?!" Johnny said raising his eyebrow "I'm pretty sure she's way too young by the looks of her Marcus."
"SHUT UP YOU IDIOT! That's not what I meant." Marcus said glaring at Johnny. "It's just…I just feel like it's something I have to do…"
"What do you mean? What are you trying to do?!" Frida asked frantically
"GOD DAMN IT, JUST TRUST ME!" Marcus shouted at her. "I need to do this…"
They all looked at him. Frida sighed and rubs her forehead "Fine…" she gave in.
"I don't know what you're trying to do but it better work."Johnny said
"We'll do the best we can but Frida's dad is furious…" Ronnie said scratching her cheek.
"I don't think we'll hold them long Marcus. But we'll do our best." Carmen said looking at Marcus.
"Thank you guy's…seriously." Marcus said nodding at them "Alright Manny…"
Manny sighed "Alright follow me." He said heading down the alley way and Marcus followed along.
Elizabeth sat in the corner in a room on the fourth floor in the abandoned building. She held a switch in her hand and stared at it. She sat it down and reached into her coat pocket pulling out the red teddy bear, and holds it close to her chest.
"I'll be with you soon Barton…" Elizabeth whispered softly.
"So I'm guessing by what you said you're planning on offing yourself?"
Elizabeth quickly opens her eyes and looks towards the opening of the room. Both Manny and Marcus entered the room. Elizabeth sat down the red teddy bear and picks up the switch, she glared as her as she placed her thumb slightly on the trigger.
"You weren't as prepared as you thought you were huh?" Marcus said "You bluffed half of what you said, and you highly underestimated us."
Elizabeth didn't say anything. She just sat there staring at two of them
"You said you placed bombs all over the city to get everyone distracted so you can just focus on the main targets you wanted. It's pretty clever actually." Marcus walked a little closer to her.
"Stay back!" Elizabeth said timidly
Marcus looked Elizabeth right in the eyes. To Marcus, it was like looking into a mirror. The look she was giving him was too familiar to him. He stared at that look all the time years ago.
"You know something…I remember the first time I saw you. You bumped into me on the street remember?" Marcus asked
"What about it?" Elizabeth asked, her voice timid and on the edge
"You and I…we have the same eye's…" Marcus said softly.
Elizabeth looked at him perplexed and so did Manny. She then scowled at him and grits her teeth.
"What the hell are you talking about? What do you mean we have the same eyes?" Elizabeth hissed
"Well what I mean by-"
"WE KNOW YOU ARE IN THERE! COME OUT NOW OR WE WILL USE AS MUCH FORCE AS POSSIBLE!"
Manny and Marcus looked out the window. They saw squad and cars and swat teams all huddled together armed, and Emiliano standing behind them holding a bull horn.
"Dad wait, Manny and Marcus are in there!" Frida pleaded
Emiliano ignored her. His entire focus was on Elizabeth, and his patience was already gone.
"Well sorry Marcus…" Ronnie whispered looking up at the window where Manny and Marcus were. "He didn't even give us a chance.
"Damn it…" Marcus said under his breath.
"Oh look…just people I wanted." Elizabeth said happily "I'll take them with me too."
"Hey! Just what the hell are you thinking? You do all of this and then you're just going to blow yourself up with everyone around here?! WHAT DID INNOCENT PEOPLE EVERY DO TO YOU?!" Manny ranted
"YOU THINK THOSE CURROPTED BASTARDS OUT THERE ARE INNCOENT?! YOU"RE BLIND! THEY DON"T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ANYONE BUT HOW MUCH MONEY THEY EARN! AND DON"T GET ME STARTED ON THE HERO"S!"
"AND WHAT ABOUT THE HERO"S?!" Manny retaliated
"THEY"RE WORSE! ALL THEY WANT IS ATTENTION! THEY SAY THEY WANT TO HELP PEOPLE BUT THEY"RE TRULY IN IT FOR THEMSELVES! AND THE SAD THING IS PEOPLE EAT IT UP! " Elizabeth spat
"THAT"S NOT TRUE!" Manny screamed. But then he thought about the golden eagle twins, and the soul reason they became heroes was to get whatever they wanted, and people still loved them.
Elizabeth shoots a death glare "Oh? You don't know what the hell you're talking about…it's always been like this. Cops abusing their power, letting criminals off the hook, barely being of any help or usefulness, they only want to throw their weight around and look important! IF THEY REALLY CARED THEN MY MOTHER AND FATHER WOULD STILL BE ALIVE!" She screamed and her hand that was holding the switch was shaking violently "Death and murder was all that was ever around! And no one lift a finger to do anything! CAN YOU REALLY CALL THAT JUSTICE?!
"NO YOU CAN"T!" Manny roared, shouting from the top of his lungs. Marcus and Elizabeth looked at Manny. "I know…I know there are people in this world who do the wrong things and use their powers for the wrong reason. YES! I know there are police officers are corrupted at times! BUT DAMN IT THERE ARE PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD WHO TRULY CARE AND DO WHATEVER THEY CAN TO PROTECT LIVES AND THE PEOPLE THEY CARE ABOUT!" He thought about his father, random people who did what they could to protect their families, and every hero that is in Miracle city went through his head, he thought about Ricardo Sanchez, Sebastian Micelle, and Alex Roberto. And lastly he thought about his ancestors and the first EL tigre.
"YOU HAVE 5 MINUTES!" Emiliano said through the bull horn.
Elizabeth just sat there staring at Manny as if she was in a trance. Manny stood there panting lightly.
"I…i…no…they don't…they don't…" Elizabeth stuttered "HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO BEILIVE THAT HUH?! WHERE WERE THEY FOR ME?! THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS EVER THERE FOR ME WAS BARTON! I PROMISED I WOULD HELP BARTON CLEAN THE WORLD OF THE CORRUPT AND THA-.
"What you're doing is no different from the people who took you're family form you." Marcus said beaming at her.
Elizabeth's eyes widen and her mouth hung open "N-No…that's…"
"Barton took the lives of so many innocent people for his own gain. And today, you tried to take away the life of Frida's sister, a girl who wants to help clean up Miracle city and make it into a safer place to live. Tell me…how that is different from what evil people do in this world. You're just another corrupt person."
"NO! NO I'M NOT! YOU SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH!" Elizabeth cried. "I AM NOT CORRUPT! YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND A GOD DAMN THING! YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING! THIS WORLD IS NERVER CHANGE! THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE IS TO-
"Shed blood huh? No." Marcus shook his head "I once thought that same thing. I once thought if…if we just rid the world of wrong doers…we'll be once step closer to a world where all can smile, laugh, and not have to worry about anything…but let me tell you…it's not worth it at all…long ago…I was no different from the people who took the lives of others…I was just…a monster…I was the most corrupt person to be honest. It's not worth it I'm telling you." Marcus voice was shaking "It's not worth to have blood on your hands…no matter how much you wash and wash it'll still be there damn it! IS THAT A WAY FOR YOU TO LIVE?! TO KNOW THE BLOOD WILL ALWAYS BE THERE?!"
Manny just looked at Marcus. He had never seen such a side of him before. Elizabeth dropped the switch to floor, and the tears came pouring out of her eyes, then she broke down and started crying uncontrollably.
Marcus kneeled down to her "That's why I said earlier…that we have the same eyes…" he said gently. Elizabeth looked up at him, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Marcus…" Manny said in a hushed tone.
Outside
Emiliano looked at his watch "There time is up…" he said
"Please dad just a little more time!" Frida begged
"I waited long enough." Emiliano said impatiently. Emiliano was about to give the signal, but before he could, the doors to the abandoned building opened. Stepping out were Manny, Marcus and Elizabeth. Elizabeth eyes were red from the all the crying that she did, she looked worn out and her hair was a mess.
Five of the swat team members rushed in to try and snatch her.
"BACK THE HELL UP!" Marcus said in booming voice. Five of the swat team members stopped dead in the tracks. "THIS GIRL IS UNARMED! YOU DON"T DARE TO TRY AND MAN HANDEL HER! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!"
Everyone looked at Marcus baffled. Elizabeth looked at Marcus more surprised than anyone in the area.
"What the hell are you talking about?! This girl is dangerous!" one of the swat team members said.
"Is she armed now?" Marcus asked slowly but his voice full rage.
"No bu-"
"Then back the hell UP!" Marcus shouted, his left hand went ablaze with fire. "I'll be the one to take her to nearest cop car, NOW MOVE!"
"S-Sir?" another swat team member looked at Emiliano. Emiliano stared at Manny and Marcus.
"Fine," Emiliano said "Over hear…" Emiliano went over to one of the cop cars and unlocked the back door.
Manny and Marcus walked Elizabeth over to cop car, she turned around and looked up at Marcus.
"B-Bu-But why would you?" Elizabeth asked frightened.
"Like I said to you before…I do what I want, and I understand what's right from wrong." Marcus explained softly
"I…i…all I can say is, thank you…I use to feel alone…but…" Elizabeth tried to speak she got chocked up and the tears started falling again "Can…can the world still be a good place to live in…even if things are unbalanced?"
Marcus looked at Manny.
"Call me crazy…but yeah." Manny answered "When you have people in the world that make you smile, laugh, and feel happy and belong, in even the most unbalanced of places. Hell, look at me. I lived in this spicy cesspool and crime and villainy ever since I was baby. But…" Manny turned around and looked at Frida "When you have someone who is with you all the way…an unbalanced world and society doesn't feel so unbalanced."
Marcus nods and smiles "Couldn't have said it better…." He said happily.
"I see…" Elizabeth said smiling "Thank you…thank you so much…" she said sincerely, and with that, she got into the back of the car, and Emiliano closed the door.
"Good job…all of you." Emiliano said looking at the tow of them
"She had bombs around the building." Marcus said holding up the switch Elizabeth had "You might want someone to take care of that, there just regular bombs, not like the ones we've dealt with so it'll probably be no problem."
"I see," Emiliano said taking the switch. "We'll have this taken care of."
"HEY!" Frida called out to them, she and the others rushed over to Manny and Marcus. "Guy's what happened in there? What did you do?"
"Like I said, I just wanted to talk to her." Marcus said simply. "I needed to." He walked past Frida and others "I'm beat…I'm heading home…"
"Marcus…" Ronnie said worried.
Johnny just looked at him. He moves his hair out the way and smiles a bit "He's not just some jerk after all." He said in his head.
"Man…did you see the way he looked when he was yelling, talk about Scaaary!" Carmen said shivering a bit.
Manny watched him as he walked off "Hey guy's I'll catch up with you later." He said as reversed his belt and went back to his normal clothing. He then hurried and caught up with Marcus.
"Hey." Manny said to Marcus walking next to him.
"Nice words you said back there." Marcus said
"I could say the same for you."
There stroll was quite as they both kept walking on. The air was cool, and the sky was dark, the moon was out along with the stars in the sky. They both had arrived on a small bridge that was over a stream. The water sparkled as the moonlight shined upon it. Marcus leaned against the railing of the bridge looking at the stream of water.
Manny was a bit hesitant, he wanted to ask Marcus a few questions but he was not sure if he should.
"Hey umm…" Manny whispered
"She was from my home town." Marcus said suddenly. Manny looked at him surprised.
"Washington?"
Marcus nods and continued "Washington D.C. It wasn't like it was back then now…but…man it was hell. There was no order at all, people had to rely on factions from different sides of the state, the factions of the west, the factions of the north, east, and south, each had a leader." Marcus explained "It wasn't long before one of these leaders got bored of just having one side, and decided to start a war. People were pretty much just collaterally damage, not even a second thought. That girl grew up in that mess…I know how she feels…"
"I…I mean I didn't know…"
"It's fine…" Marcus said chuckling a bit. "You were curious I bet."
"Well…I was also worried about you." Manny said leaning his back on the railing with his hands in his coat pocket. They stood there quite. The sound of the stream was the only thing that made any noise.
"How come…you always say you aren't a hero?" Manny asked breaking the silence.
"Well, I don't wear any dorky outfits or tights." Marcus said with a smirk.
"Hey what's that suppose to mean?!"
Marcus laughed "Calm down I'm joking." He smiled and said "I just never thought of myself as a hero. Like I said to that girl, I just do things that I feel is right. I know it's not really a good explanation but it's just the best way I can put it."
"I get what you mean." Manny said nodding. "Heh…you know, my family didn't always have good guys in it."
"Hm?"
"Yeah, each generation had one bad guy in it, mostly on my grandpapis side." Manny explained with smile across his face.
"Is that right? Well that explains a lot with you grandpa."
"Yup, and first EL tigre…well he didn't know if he wanted to be good or evil."
"What about you?" Marcus asked.
"Well…I mean being good is…nice and all…but then I mean it can be fun being evil sometimes…" Manny thought.
"I'll take a wild guess and say undecided huh?"
"heheh…yeah…" Manny rubs the back of his head chuckling.
"You know…it's hard to say about my family history. I mean I only know so little. I know about my devils eye…and on my mom's side she was from a different clan. I would want know more but from what I remember…they didn't want me to know much about it. I have cousin who is from my mom's side of the family. She is just as oblivious to history just as I am, and my grandfather…I don't know where to find him." Marcus explained, he had his hand placed in his right palm.
"That's…frustrating huh?" Manny said
"A bit…sooner or later I'm going to find out as much as I can. I'm pretty much self-taught when it comes to my devils eye. But hell do you know how hard it was to even break to the next level of it? It's still incomplete…"
"Well…maybe I can help?" Manny said with a smile "Yeah! I mean we never really trained together in awhile! What do you think?"
Marcus stared at Manny, seeing the glimmer in his eyes. Marcus couldn't help but smile.
"Yeah…I would like that, thanks Manny." Marcus said happily.
Manny chuckles happily "What are friends for after all?"
They stood there for a little while longer. Marcus thought about what someone said to him, someone who he held in his heart. He thought about the words Emily spoke to him.
"You'll never be alone…you're a kind and caring person who always thinks about how other's feel. You'll meet people in your life that'll care for you…just as much as you care for them."
Marcus simply smiled.
"Yeah…I do care for them…"

A/N 5/19/2017. Time: 3:06am. Well…this was a very long chapter, I apologies for the long wait. I am currently trying to take care of some stuff and also I am running a Youtube channel, which I will be focusing less on. Also, the reasons to why the chapter took longer to come out, I had rewritten a bunch of different endings and different scenarios in the chapter, and it held back its final stage of development. But as you could see I come and ending I am very satisfied with. So with this done I have some other things to work on as well, such Coraline, La tigresa, Steven universe and so on. So I bid you all…well I bid you all a cya later haha! Stay golden!
