A/N I'm going to start posting dates for the times I start a chapter to the date I finish it. I should have started this when I began the series actually now that I think about it. I started working on this chapter at 5:26pm. 6/14/17. Also I have a new cover for EL Tigre the new adventure for when I begin Season 3! Anyway here is Chapter 61 of EL Tigre the new Adventures! EL Tigre The New Adventures Season 2 Episode 38 – Ronnie
It was the last time she would ever see him. She couldn't bear it, to see him walk towards the front door of her home, carrying his brief case full of his belongings. He grasped his hands around the door knob, but before he could open the door he could hear the footsteps of someone walking toward him. He turned around to see a little girl with light brown hair, skin and bright green eyes stared up at him.
"Ronnie…" He whispered.
"D-daddy, where are you going?" Ronnie asked curiously
He looked down at her, teeth clenched and his hand trembling violently.
"I…" He said softly but with much fear and shame in his voice "Ronnie…"
…
"Daddy…" Ronnie whispered in her sleep. She lies in her bed holding her pillowing tightly. "Where…are you going?"
Ronnie was then awoken to the sound of her alarm clock going off in the background. She tossed and turned in her sleep, grabbing the covers to her bed and pulling over her head. The more she tried to ignore it the louder her alarm clock became.
Ronnie let's out annoyed groan and aggressively pushes the covers off of her, grabs her pillow and tosses it at her alarm clock while shouting
"DARN IT I'M AWAKE YOU STUPID THING!" She screamed. Her hit's the shelf where her alarm clock was placed, knocking to the floor. The alarm clock was still going off, and she lets out another annoyed groan.
"Now…I have to get up…and turn it off myself…" Ronnie said blowing her hair out of her face. "What a cruel morning…"
Ronnie stretches and hops out of bed. She walks over to where her alarm clock fell, picks it up and turns it off. She sits the alarm clock back on her shelf and sighs in relief.
"There we go…" Said Ronnie with a smile, once the noise from the alarm clock was off she started to think about her dream. She remembers staring at her father as he was walking out the door.
Ronnie shook her head, trying to shake the remembrance of her dream out of her mind.
"Alright, time to get ready for the day!"
She walks towards the bathroom and stood in front of her sink and stares at herself in the mirror. Her hair was a complete mess, her hair was curly and wild all around and only one eye was showing. She reaches over for her comb and slowly moves it toward her hair.
"Oh man…this is going to hurt…" Ronnie said hesitantly.
Ronnie lets out a few yelps of pain as she starts to comb her. "OW!" she screamed. Her eyes widen when she realizes that she couldn't remove the comb from her hair. "Uh-oh…" she said "Here we go again…"
After Ronnie battled with her comb to get her hair untangled she had brushed her teeth, and got dressed to begin her day. She heads for the door and was about to leave her home but stopped, she felt as if she was forgetting something.
"OH! I almost forgot my free pizza coupon!" Ronne said as she turns around and walks over to her dresser drawer and opens it. She reaches inside grabs the coupon, but before she closes the drawer something catches her eye. It was a picture of Ronnie with her mother, father and grandmother at her 3rd birthday party.
Ronnie picks up the picture and stares at her mother, father and grandmother. Then it suddenly hit her.
"Oh right…today's my birthday…" Ronnie said. She stuffs the picture into her coat pocket and headed out to start her day.

Ronnie had a smile across her face as she strolled down the side walk, passing diners that were filled with customers, people walking by having random conversations, smiling and laughing. Ronnie takes out the coupon for one free pizza and grinned ear to ear.
"Now what kind of pizza should I get? Should I get a pepperoni? Or should I get Meat lovers? Orrr maybe I should get meat lovers pepperoni with extra cheese!" Ronnie thought. But the thought of stuffing her face with pizza had been replaced with the thought of her mother, father and grandmother. Come to think of it, Ronnie hasn't thought about her family in awhile. Ever since she came to Miracle city she'd only thought about the recent events that had transpired since her arrival.
Ronnie shook her head trying to clear the thought of her family. Ronnie did all she could to not think about her mother, father and grandmother. It was memories that she wished to keep in the back of her mind. Anytime that she would think about them, she began to hurt. Ronnie would do anything that she could to not remember anything, but in the end it would just hurt her more.
Ronnie rubs her head, than leans against the wall of nearby large building. She sat down, places her elbow to her leg and placed her chin onto the palm of her hand. She reached into her pocket with other hand takes out her green ring.
The black mixed with shades of green shined as the sun reflects on it, again, Ronnie started to think about her Grandmother, and again, she thought about all the times she spent with her, thinking about when she was there when Ronnie needed her the most, always comforting her through her tough times.
But Ronnie's thoughts about her grandmother were interrupted by the sound of the ground rumbling and the sounds of citizen's screams. Ronnie quickly got to her feet and looks to the right seeing bystanders running away terrified.
"Uh oh…" Ronnie whispered.
Coming from around the corner was big, buff one eyed Cyclops that was wearing only cargo pants.
"Well that's new…" Ronnie said with an awkward smile.
The Cyclops snatches up a stop sign from out of the ground and turned around a whacking Manny with the stop sign, who was charging right at him for an attack. Manny landed on top of a hood of car.
The Cyclops hops in the air attempting to land straight on top of Manny, but was intercepted by Johnny who lunged forward and kicks the Cyclops right in the stomach knocking him back down to the ground.
"Thanks Johnny-OW!" Manny said holding his head.
"Didn't you see the stop sign?" Marcus said walking past Manny. "Accidents happen when you don't obey the stop sign you know."
"Oh ha ha very funny…" Manny said rolling his eyes and hopping off the smashed car.
"Tch, what a lame joke…" Johnny said shaking his head
"Go to hell…" Marcus said scowling at Johnny. "And where the hell did this stupid thing come from?!"
"I don't know. We stopped questioning everything that comes out of nowhere in miracle city." Frida replied.
"I'm actually really jealous. We never get anything like this back home." Said Carmen staring at the Cyclops
The Cyclops get's back to his feet, glares at the five of them. He sticks out his long tongue and makes a nasty slurping noise. He roars and was about charge at them, but the Cyclops was distracted by a flash of the green light, and before he could turn around to see what it was he punched right in the face, getting sent right through a shop owner's window.
"Sorry about that sir!" Ronnie called out to the store owner.
"It's ok I'm use to it!" The store owner responded.
"Oh there you are Ronnie!" Frida said with a smile. "We were wondering where you were!"
"Hey Frida, hey guys!" Ronnie said waving at them. "Yeah sorry I kind of over slept a bit."
"Don't worry I do it all the time." Marcus said "But I don't tend to make an effort to try and get up."
"Hey! Do you guys want to go get a pizza with me?! I got a coupon for one free pizza!" Ronnie said excited, as she showed them the coupon
"COOL! Yeah let's go chow down!" Manny said cheerfully while hopping off of the car he landed on.
"Did you guys forget about that thing over their!" Johnny shouted pointing at the one eyed brute stuck his head out the broken glass window.
The Cyclops eye began to glow red, static flowed around its face and loud noise came from its eye, and then he fires a large laser from its eye that hit's the ground where the six of them were standing.
The shockwave from the laser knocked everyone back, a dust cloud was created from the lasers explosion and when the dust settled, a small creator could be seen from where the bomb landed. The Cyclops lets out another might roar and leaps out of the store he was in and roars again.
"QUIT ACTING LIKE YOU WON!" Roared Manny, the Cyclops looked up in the air to see Manny and Marcus, Manny's grappling hook hand was spinning quickly ready for an attack and Marcus's hand was covered with a strong fire.
"RIVERA TIGER!" Manny began.
The Cyclops was about to fire another laser but let out a scream of pain when he was kicked straight in the gut causing the Cyclops to cough up blood.
"JET SHOT!" Johnny screamed.
The Cyclops was knocked on the ground landing flat on his back. Manny and Marcus combined there attacks and struck the Cyclops together.
"BURNING RVIERA TIGER PISTOL!" Manny and Marcus screamed.
The Cyclops's eye almost popped out, letting out a blood curdling scream. The Cyclops laid there, completely knocked out.
"Well…that's another job done for today." Said Manny with a revering back to his normal clothes
"Jeez look at that thing; he's got hair all over him." Johnny said staring at the Cyclops
"I really don't care what's on him just as long as we don't see him again…" Marcus said popping his neck a couple of times.
"Yeah I'm pretty sure we'll see this thing again…" Manny said for sure.
"Ow…jeez, stupid one eyed jerk…" Ronnie said getting to her feet
"You ok Ronnie?" Frida asked walking up to her with Carmen
"Oh yeah I'm fine! And look I made sure the coupon is ok!" Ronnie said showing them the pizza coupon that was completely intact while smiling proudly.
"Jeez Ronnie were you worried about that coupon the whole time?" Carmen said raising an eyebrow.
"Do you know how long I've worked to get this coupon?! IT"S MY PRIZED POSSESION! Till I use it of course…"
Frida and Carmen started laughing; Ronnie started to lecture them on the importance of coupons in fast food chains. Carmen smiles, sighs and covers Ronnie's mouth stopping her from talking on and on.
"Come on Ronnie let's put that coupon to use, we've defiantly earned a group snack!" Carmen said giggling while holding her hand over Ronnie's mouth while making Ronnie walk along with her. Ronnie started letting out muffled rants about coupons and pizza.
Frida was about till she looked down on the ground and saw a picture lying face down on the ground with a date written on it. She picks it up and flips the picture over, she gasp, seeing Ronnie on the picture with her mother, father and grandmother.
"Wait, Ronnie!" Frida hurrying over to Carmen and Ronnie "You dropped your picture!"
Ronnie turned around seeing Frida quickly walking up to her and handing her the picture. Ronnie stared at it blankly for a few seconds and looks up Frida with a smile.
"Thanks Frida that was a close one!" Ronnie said sincerely "I don't know what I would do If I'd lost this picture…"
"Hey, it's little Ronnie!" Manny said pointing at the picture.
"Aww she's so cute!" Carmen said chuckling
"Wow Ronnie I see where you get looks from!" Marcus said looking at Ronnie's mother in the picture.
"Oh defiantly," Johnny said nodding an agreement.
"Hey Ronnie…that date on the back of the picture. Today's your birthday right?" Frida asked.
They all looked at Ronnie and Ronnie stared at Frida
"Yeah…it is." Ronnie said nodding and looking away
"It is?! Oh cool! How old are you now?" Manny asked.
"I'm turning 15…" Ronnie responded.
Marcus smiles "Ronnie today is very special day. I wonderful lady such as yourself should be treated to a nice and delicate meal." Marcus holds his hand out to her "Allow me to treat you."
"No thanks." Ronnie said bluntly
"GAH!" Marcus suddenly turned to stone
"HA that's what you get for sounding corny as hell…" Johnny said with a smirk. "Hey Ronnie, I'll fix you up something amazing and original!"
"Nah I'm good…" Ronnie said bluntly again.
"GAH!" Johnny said turning to stone as well.
"Look guy's…there's nothing to celebrate alright? Today is just another passing day. Come on; let's go eat cash in this coupon!" Ronnie said, sounding as if she was forcing herself to sound excited.
The rest of the group didn't push on the subject with Ronnie's birthday, and they all headed off to the pizza parlor. Once they arrived, Ronnie cashed in her coupon and was brought a large pepperoni pizza that almost took up the whole table.
After they had finished eating the large pepperoni pizza, Ronnie had eaten a total of 4 slices, had fallen asleep from being so stuffed with pizza.
"And I thought I could eat a ton of pizza…" Manny said staring at Ronnie amazed
"Seriously where does it all go?" Carmen said nibbling on piece of pepperoni
"Jeez Ronnie is knocked out cold is she?" Frida said leaning over to her and pokes her nose.
Ronnie then started snoring lightly.
"Oh my gosh she's so adorable," Said Carmen chuckling at Ronnie
"Man…she's even cute when she's sleeping!" Marcus said with hearts in his eyes.
"Do you ever think of anything else besides girls?" Manny asked narrowing his eyes at Marcus.
"At least I think of girls…" Marcus said scowling at Manny.
"WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?"
Marcus started whistling innocently while looking away from Manny.
"Jeez you guys can get into really bad huh?" Johnny said watching Manny and Marcus.
"Oh shush you're one to talk." Carmen said smacking Johnny in the back of the head.
"Ow! Was the smack to the head really necessary Carmen?!"
"Always," Carmen said with smile.
"HEY!" Ronnie suddenly shouted
They all looked at her; Ronnie stared back with eyes half open. "Who ate the last slice of pizza?" she asked in drowsy tone than she fell right back to sleep and proceeded to snore.
"That's one pizza obsessed girl…" Manny said staring at Ronnie.
"Hey guys…we should totally throw Ronnie a surprise birthday party." Frida whispered.
Manny smiled "Yeah! That would be awesome!" he said excited
"I'm down for it!" Johnny agreed
"Let's do it, she defiantly deserves it." Marcus said nodding.
"Heck yeah, birthday party for the birthday girl!" Carmen said shooting her fist into the air.
"Alright, Manny, you stay with Ronnie and make sure to distract her. Johnny and Carmen you guys go get the cake and decorations and when you do meet us Ronnie's place!" Frida said
"We got it! Come on Johnny!" Carmen said grabbing his hand and they leave out the pizza parlor.
"Marcus you and I are going to go out and pick presents for her!" Frida said pointing at Marcus.
"Alright let's do it." Marcus said nodding and getting up from his seat.
"Wait! Hold on! Where should I take her?" Manny asked hastily.
"Anywhere, just keep her away from her house of a couple of hours!" Frida said "We'll see you soon!" and Frida and Marcus left the pizza parlor to go out shop for presents for Ronnie.
Manny sat there and looked at Ronnie who was fast asleep, and her snores were getting louder and louder. Manny sighed and taps his fingers on the table.
"Jeez, she might just sleep the whole day in here…"

Johnny and Carmen stood outside of Ronnie's. Carmen was holding the decorations while Johnny, instead of buying a cake; he himself had baked one for Ronnie.
"Oh man I can't wait till Ronnie tries the birthday cake I made her!" Johnny said excitedly.
It was chocolate cake with sprinkles all around it with whip cream around the top along with chocolate chips
"Yeah that cake looks delicious! You did a really good job with it!" Carmen complimented while licking her lips.
"Now where're Marcus and Frida? They should be here by now…" Johnny wondered
"HERE WE ARE!" Frida shouted running over to Johnny and Carmen followed by Marcus. They both were caring Ronnie's presents and gift wrappings. "Sorry we're late! We were having a hard time trying to figure out what Ronnie would like."
"What did you guys get her?" Carmen asked looking at the bags
"Well I got her these cool goggles!" Frida said taking the green goggles out of her bag "I know she wears a helmet and all when she transforms but I thought it would go good with her look since its green!"
"Oh those are pretty nice!" Carmen said with a smile while looking at the green goggles.
"So dumbass what did you get Ronnie?" Johnny asked bating his eyes at Marcus.
"Yeah what did you get her? You wouldn't even show me." Frida asked curiously
"I got her a very useful…something that she will defiantly need in the future." Marcus said dramatically while digging into the bag.
The three of them stared at Marcus puzzled.
"THIS!" Marcus said taking out a green bikini. "This bikini will defiantly come in handy when we go to beach!" Marcus had goofy smile across his face.
"Oh for the love of…"Frida said letting out annoyed sigh.
"THAT IS PERFECT!" Johnny said grinning ear to ear.
"Johnny!" Carmen yelled glaring at Johnny.
"Anyway, come on guys let's get everything decorated!" Frida said, trying to get off the topic of Ronnie's bathing suit.
"Wait how are we going into Ronnie's home?" Carmen said
"Oh shoot! I didn't think that far ahead!" Frida said face palming.
"Uhh leave that to me." Marcus said setting down his bags then reaches into his pocket pulling out to metal pieces. One was dented and the other was not.
"Lock picking?" Frida said raising an eyebrow.
"Yup," Marcus said walking over to Ronnie's door and starts picking around the lock.
"Jeez this feels kind of wrong…" Carmen said uncomfortably
"Well there's no other way to get in unless you want to break a window." Marcus said while picking around the lock.
The locked clicked, the door was now unlocked. The four of them went into Ronnie's apartment. Ronnie's overall apartment was a pretty decent size. The living room was spaced out and the walls were a beige color, with one couch and one recliner, and wooden table in the middle. The living room was also connected to the kitchen, which was pretty small with blue tiled floors and white painted walls.
"Oh wow…this is pretty nice apartment." Frida said placing the bags on the wooden table. "Defiantly better then Marcus's gloomy apartment."
"Hey it isn't gloomy on purpose!" Marcus responded.
"It's got a real nice comfortable feel to it!" Carmen said walking around the apartment.
"Hey guy's let's not get to nosey now," Johnny said placing the cake on the kitchen counter.
"I'm not being noisy!" Carmen said opening the hallway closet door. When Carmen opened the door and a book fell out and dropped right on her head.
"OW!" Carmen shouted while rubbing her head.
"See? That's what you get for being nosey." Johnny said grinning at Carmen.
"Oh hush up." Carmen said picking up the book. "Hey! It's a photo album!"
"Really?! Open it up!" Frida said hurrying over to Carmen. Carmen opens the photo album and instantly they both said "Awwww!"
"Oh my god…" Johnny said rubbing his head
"Aren't we supposed to be setting up decorations?" Marcus said staring at Carmen and Ronnie with his arms crossed.
"Hey I got an idea! Let's use some of these pictures for decorations!" Frida said smiling at Carmen.
"Yeah, that's a good idea!" Carmen said excited
"Alright guys! Let's get to it!"
"RIGHT!"
…
"Duuuude…how long is she going to sleep?" Manny groaned
Ronnie was snoring louder than earlier and, she was drooling on the table.
"Aren't you going to wake her up?" Asked a waitress named Clare who was walking by
"Well I would but I want to give my friends time to set up her surprise party." Manny explained. "So her sleeping this long is not all bad haha…" he chuckled.
"Oh today it's her birthday today?! How come you all didn't say anything?" Clare said shocked "We could have done something special for her!"
"I think that free pizza was good enough." Manny said letting out a small laugh.
"I guess that's true, she's just been such a good customer ever since she arrived here in Miracle city. She even saved our restraint from people who were trying to force us to close down…" Clare said holding her clipboard close to her chest.
"Who tried to force you guys to close down?"
"It was another pizza restraint that was run by a crooked owner. There pizza wasn't even made naturally and they knew it. They sent thugs after us to scare us to close down. And then Ronnie came in to help us. She beat up those thugs with ease and she went to go take care of that crooked owner of that terrible pizza restraint."
"So that's what that was about." Manny said thinking back to when he saw Ronnie tearing up that pizza place when he and Marcus were about to head out on a mission to terra town.
Clare nods "Yup. She exposed them and everything, and that crooked owner is now in jail. And it's all thanks to Ronnie right here." She said smiling at Ronnie.
"Now that's a passion for pizza." Manny said
"PIZZA WHERE?!" Ronnie said suddenly and tiredly.
Clare and Manny just stared at her for a moment.
"How come you didn't wake up to the last times we said pizza?" Manny asked
"Pizza?" Ronnie said again.
Clare started giggling. She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a pizza badge "Here you go Ronnie. I know it's not much but I hope you like it!"
"OH COOL! A PIZZA BADGE!" Ronnie said happily and places the badge on her coat.
"Happy Birthday Ronnie!" Clare said with a smile "And thanks for all that you've done for this restraint."
Ronnie blushed "heh…no problem…and thanks for the badge!" she said smiling at her.
"No problem Ronnie. Well I'll be off now and again happy birthday." Clare said waving at them and walking off back to kitchen
"Hey by the way, where did Frida, Marcus, Johnny and Carmen go? Ronnie asked looking at Manny.
"OH! Uhhh they had to go and take care of something and they wanted me to stay and watch you and stuff!" Said Manny innocently smiling at Ronnie
"Oh ok…" Ronnie said as she went back to staring at her badge.
After getting the badge Manny and Ronnie had decided to leave the pizza parlor. Ronnie and Manny had various conversations, Ronnie asked about Manny's EL tigre belt, about his family bloodline and if Manny and Frida were dating, which Manny responded with a flustered answers which pretty much meant no.
"You're so cute when you're embarrassed!" Said Ronnie giggling
"No I'm not!" Manny responded, his face completely red.
After awhile of walking they both had become quiet. Manny looked over at Ronnie who was whistling cheerfully. Manny decided to break to silence by asking her something about her family.
"So…where did you get your ring? Was it from your mom or dad? Or…"
"M grandmother…"
"Oh? So your grandmother was a super hero?"
"Yup, and so was my dad."
"That's cool! Umm…if I can ask uhh…where are your mom and dad?"
Ronnie started to think about her father. The more she thought about him, the angrier she got.
"Away from me…" Ronnie responded coldly.
"Uhh…" Manny didn't quite understand "What do you mean?"
Ronnie started to think about her mother. Her anger started to build up faster. She bit her lip, thinking about the last time he saw her father. A lump appeared in her throat and she could feel the tears trying to build up in her eyes. She looked at Manny and glared at him. Manny flinched and took one step back from her.
"What do I mean? I MEAN MY FATHER LEFT ME THAT"S WHAT I MEAN!" Ronnie snapped. Some tears escaped her eyes and she quickly wipes them away.
They both stood there staring at each other. Tears streamed down Ronnie's cheeks and she quickly rubs them away.
"R-Ronnie…I…I'm sorry…I didn't know…I…" Manny stuttered trying to find the right words to say to her.
"I just want to go home…I don't care about my birthday…I just want this day to be over…" Ronnie said trying her hardest not to shed a tear.
"Ok…" Manny whispered sadly.
Manny felt terrible. He made Ronnie think about some bad memories that she didn't want to try to remember. He regretted even bringing up the topic. The only thing he could really do is walk her home. It was silent stroll back to Ronnie's home. But what would do about the surprise party?
They both arrived at Ronnie's home. Ronnie placed her key into her door knob and unlocked the door. She turned to Manny
"You didn't have to walk me home…" Ronnie said silently
"Well…i…" Manny didn't really know what to tell her.
"I'm sorry I snapped at you…I didn't mean to…"
"It's fine. I shouldn't have brought up…"
Ronnie opened the door to her home "Well…bye…and thanks for walking me home." She said
"Wait Ronnie, umm…can I come in?" Manny asked, trying not to sound desperate or weird.
"Uhh…sure, I don't care…" Ronnie agreed and she walks into her apartment and Manny followed, closing the front door behind him. Ronnie walked into her living room, and when she did her eyes widen. She looked up to see a banner that read happy birthday Ronnie, and her entire living room was decorated in birthday decorations. On the wall were the pictures of family that were in her photo album.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY RONNIE!" Frida, Marcus, Carmen and Johnny screamed.
"G-guys, y-you all…" Ronnie stuttered.
"Oh come on! A friend of ours can't go a day without having a birthday?" Frida smiled.
"What do you think about the decorations? We stumbled upon the photo album totally on accident by the way! And we thought that these will defiantly look good with the decorations!" said Carmen, showing Ronnie the pictures of her family on the wall.
Ronnie stared at the pictures on the wall.
She saw the one where her Mother was holding Ronnie when she was 3 years old and her father was behind her mother with his arms wrapped her mother's neck holding her, and they were smiling happily. There were also solo pictures of Ronnie when she was 3 and a couple of pictures of when she was baby learning how to crawl. There was also the picture that Ronnie took when she was eating her first pizza with her grandmother.
But there was one picture that she saw that was on the wall. She slowly walked up to the wall and stared at the picture of her when she 6 years old sitting on her father's lap, and her grandmother standing next to the two of them
That was the last picture that she ever took with her father and her grandmother.
"Ronnie? Are…you ok?" Frida asked. They all stood there staring at her.
It was all coming back to Ronnie. The memories started flooding back into her mind. Ronnie couldn't hold back anymore. The tears started streaming down her face and Ronnie to her knees and began to cry.
"R-Ronnie!" Carmen said rushing over to her. Ronnie had her hand over her mouth trying to hold back her sobs. Frida rushes over to Ronnie and kneels down to her.
"Ronnie…" Frida whispered

Carmen and Frida sat next to Ronnie who was now calm, but exhausted. Everyone was waiting for someone to say something. Manny looked at Marcus, Marcus looked at Johnny, Carmen looked over at Frida and Frida just sat there holding Ronnie's hand tightly.
"Uhh…so I guess the decorations were good? Hehe…" Johnny said, trying to lighten the mood up.
"They're nice…" Ronnie said tiredly, while rubbing her ring. "This…is all really nice guys…I really appreciate this…"
"Ronnie…" Frida looks at her "What's wrong? There's something else that's bothering you…you can talk to us you know…"
"Yeah…we're here for you Ronnie…" Said Carmen rubbing Ronnie's back gently.
Ronnie looked at everyone, and then looks down at her ring.
"Guy's…I truly do appreciate all of this, and I'm sorry if I made you all think that you messed up by doing this. It's just…I don't like celebrating…because…it just…It just…hurts…" Ronnie said struggled to explain.
"It hurts?" Johnny said puzzled
"What do you mean?" Frida asked curiously
"When I think about my birthday…I think about…my mom, my dad…and my grandmother. It just hurts too much…to the point I can't handle it."
"Ronnie…talk to us…whatever's wrong…you just can't keep it bottled up." Frida said placing her hand on Ronnie's hand. "Please…"
Ronnie looked at Frida, then at looks at Carmen and the others.
"Alright…" Ronnie said. Ronnie said gripping her ring tightly with index finger. "Well…before we begin…I need to tell you guy's something…my name isn't Ronnie…"
"Huh?" Marcus said surprised
"It isn't?" Manny asked
Ronnie shook her head no. "My real name is Veronica. Ronnie was the nick name my dad gave to me," She explained.
"Why did you change your name?" Frida asked
"Because I didn't want people looking for me…when I ran away…"
"You ran away? Why?"
"Well…I didn't want to be put into a foster home…so I just…left…" Ronnie said, her voice becoming horse.
"What happened to your parents Ronnie?" Carmen asked.
"I mean…you don't have to tell us if you don't want to…"
Ronnie was hesitant. She had never told anyone of her childhood and the events that transpired. For years she had kept everything to herself, and trying to forget everything that had happened in her childhood life. Frida gently tightens her hand around Ronnie's. Ronnie knew she could trust them; they are here for her when she needs them the most.
"I want to; no…I need to…" Ronnie said confidently.
Ronnie took out the picture of when she had her 3rd birthday party. She stared at her mother, father and grandmother.
"It's…amazing…how things can just change in the blink of an eye can it? It all changed me for me…so quickly…"

Day: Saturday
Time: 9:30am
She loved doing what she did every morning. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping, waking up next to the love of her dreams, and cooking breakfast for the family she cares deeply for. One of her favorite things of the morning was calling her down for breakfast, to see her bright smiling face and bright green eyes stare at her.
"Veronica! Breakfast is ready!" Said Valentina, her brown eyes glimmered along with glowing happy glowing smile.
Valentina:

"I'm coming mom! Come on dad it's time for breakfast!" Ronnie said hurrying out of her room.
Ronnie: Age 5
"Alright dear I'm coming!" Lucas said opening the door to the parent's room and stepping out with a smile across his face.
Lucas: Age 33
Height: 5,7
Son of the first speed witch and current owner of the speed ring
Lucas was a very pale individual; his hair was black with a mixture of grey. But what made him stand out were his bright green eyes.
"Good morning mom!" Ronnie said cheerfully as she sits at the table smiling at her mother.
"Good morning Veronica did you sleep well?" Valentina said while pouring some orange juice into a glass.
"Yup, I slept great! I had this weird dream that I was getting chased by this giant piece of broccoli!"
"You were getting chased by broccoli? That's what happens when you eat a whole box of Pizza Ronnie." Lucas said stepping into the kitchen.
"And you're still going to eat your vegetables." Valentina said patting Ronnie's head and places her plate of scrambled eggs and bacon on the table.
"Darn…" Ronnie said pouting as she starts eating her eggs and bacon.
"Can't avoid it that easily sweetheart." Lucas said chuckling.
"Ahwhillwonday!" Ronnie said with her mouth full of food.
Lucas and Valentina chuckle at Ronnie. Valentina walks over to Lucas and places his plate of eggs and bacon on the table then kisses his cheek.
"Don't forget that you're supposed to be seeing your mother today Lucas." Valentina said patting Lucas on his cheek.
Lucas's eyes widen "Oh shoot that's right!" he said quickly sitting up from his seat. "How the heck could I forget?!"
Ronnie looked up at her father puzzled.
Lucas looked down at Ronnie and smiled "Do you want to come with me to see your grandmother Ronnie?" asked
"YEAH!" Ronnie said excited hopping out of her seat and hurries to her room to get ready.
"Oh man…" Lucas said rubbing his head roughly a bit.
"Lucas how many times are you going to mess your hair up?" Valentina said walking over to him and fixing his hair.
"What do you mean? Even if it's all messed up I can still look good with it." Lucas said suddenly grabbing Valentina by her waist. Valentina let out a shocked gasp and she started giggling.
"Well you aren't lying about that." Valentina said staring into Lucas bright green eyes.
Lucas smiled staring into Valentina's bright brown eyes. .
"EWW WILL YOU TWO GET A ROOM!"Ronnie screamed. Luca and Valentina jumped and quickly separated and they both blushed. Ronnie broke into laughter at their reaction.
"Alright little one let's go," Luca said blushing and gently yanks Ronnie's hood over her face.
"Be careful you two!" Valentina said waving at them as they left the house.
Both Luca and Ronnie hopped into the Lucas car and drove down the street. Ronnie had a smile across her face and she hummed a song, excited to see her grandmother. Ronnie enjoyed seeing her grandmother. She's loving, funny, caring, and tough for someone of her old age. Ronnie's grandmother was the original owner of the family ring before she passed it down to Ronnie's father Luca. Ronnie looked over to her father, her smile turned into a puzzled expression when she saw that her father had a worried expression on his face.
"Dad, are you ok?" Ronnie asked
"Huh?" Luca said looking over at Ronnie and quickly looked back at the road. "Oh yeah I'm fine Ronnie I'm fine."
"Are you afraid to see grandma?"
"Am I what? No o-of course not! Why would I be? I mean she is my mom after all Ronnie!"
"Well I do see you sweat and shake a lot when she yells at you."
"Ugh…" Lucas groaned, rolling his eyes but let's out a small chuckle.
Ronnie smiled as they finally had arrived at her grandmother's home. Lucas had pulled in the driveway and soon as he did, the front door to her mother's home had opened.
"Well this is surprising! My idiot son actually remembers to stop by finally. Let me guess…Valentina had to remind didn't she?" Said Rosetta, standing at the door way. She wore light pink shirt with white pants, and her hair was completely grey, and her eyes were of course bright green.

"Jeez give me a break mom." Lucas said annoyed
"HEY GRANDMA!" Ronnie said hopping out of the car running to her.
"OH THERE"S MY LITTLE VERONICA!" Rosetta said picking up Ronnie, spinning her around then hugging her. "Oh it's always good to see my little veronica!"
"How are you doing grandma?" Ronnie asked happily.
"I'm doing fantastic Ronnie how about you?!"
"IM DOING GREAT!" Ronnie said wrapping her arms around her grandmother hugging her tightly.
"You know mom we could have done this later in the day instead first thing in the morning…" Lucas said lazily
Rosetta narrowed her eyes at her son and flicked him on his nose.
"OW!" Lucas yelped and Ronnie laughed. "You didn't flick my nose!"
"I'd flick on your thick skull next now get inside already!" Rosetta said roughly as she entered the house. Lucas rolls his eyes and followed along. Rosetta's living room area was pretty spacious. She had a white 7 foot couch along with one recliner on the left and one on the right.
Rosetta sat on the couch while Ronnie sat next to her. Rosetta picked up her cup of coffee and takes a sip. Lucas sat down on the recliner that is sat next to the lamp.
"So Lucas, have you been training with the speed ring like I asked you to?" Rosetta asked looking over at Lucas.
Rosetta looked down at Ronnie and she looked up at her and smiled cheerfully. Rosetta sits down her cup of tea, grabs the Tv remote and turns it on to a random cartoon.
"Ronnie, sit here for a bit while me and your father talk in private." Rosetta said smiling and rubbing Ronnie's head.
"Ok!" Ronnie said cheerfully and watched Tv.
Both Rosetta and Lucas walked out the living room and enter the backyard. Rosetta sat down on one of the outside chairs and places her chin on the palm of her hand.
"So, how's your training been?" Rosetta asked.
"It's been going well…" Lucas said quietly.
"That's good to hear." Rosetta said nodding. "You've been doing pretty well with the hero work as well?"
"W-well, of course," Lucas said with nervous chuckle
Rosetta stares at her son and smiles "Ronnie has really grown has she? She's just a little bundle of joy." She said softly.
"Yeah…she's growing so fast…" Lucas said whispered. "She really takes after her mother I know that for sure."
"She does thank god, imagine having her come out looking like you with your pale skin…"
"Oh come on mom really?!"
"What? It's true."
Lucas couldn't help but smile and laugh, and Rosetta laughed as well.
"Things have been pretty quite around here lately hasn't it?" Rosetta said, staring off into the distance.
"Yeah but I'm not really going to complain about it." Lucas responded "I mean every once in awhile we get someone coming around trying to cause trouble but it's pretty rare. That's what I really like about living here."
Rosetta sighed "Have you really been training Lucas?" She asked again.
"Well…" Lucas rubs the back of his neck "Every once in awhile yeah but…I mean the people that come around are pushovers. They aren't a real threat or anything. So I mean why really bother…"
"Lucas you of all people should know that you can't just let your guard down. Just because it's all peaceful you'll never know what might happen." Rosetta lectured.
"I know I know…" Lucas said rubbing his head "I just want to live a peaceful life is all."
"Lucas, that's what a hero fights for. They fight for peace and for all to live in harmony. Like I said, it might be peaceful for now. But you never know who might have sinister intentions. The peace we have now might be interrupted at any time."
Lucas sat there, listening to her mother. He knew that her mother just cared for her son, daughter law, and her granddaughter's safety. Lucas knew that she was right, he shouldn't be so careless.
"I understand mom…I'm sorry." Lucas said, slightly hanging his head low.
"You don't have to apologize to me Lucas. Just make sure you keep your guard up that's all I'm asking." Rosetta said getting up from her seat. "Now, we should get back to Ronnie shall we?"
Lucas looked up at her mother; he smiles and nods "Yeah." He responded.
For the rest of the day, the three of them spent the rest of the morning hanging out. Rosetta sat down with Ronnie, telling her all the stories of when she was a young hero, and even funny stories of when Lucas first used the speed ring, that and also embarrassing stories of when Lucas was a kid.
The time was now 3:pm. Lucas and Ronnie stood at the front door of Rosetta's home.
"Well it was good seeing you Lucas." Rosetta said smiling at him. She looks down at Ronnie and pats her head "And it was defiantly good seeing you as well."
Ronnie smiled at her "It was good to see you to grandma!" she said hugging her.
"Same, we'll stop by next week." Said Lucas
"I'll be glad to see you both. Try and bring Valentina over to." Rosetta said waving at Lucas and Ronnie as they get into the car and drove off.
"It was really good to see grandma! I can't wait to see her next week!" Ronnie said smiling ear to ear.
"Yeah…" Said Lucas silently
Ronnie turned to her father and tilted her head a bit "Are you ok dad?" she asked.
"Ronnie…what do you think of me…at hero stand point I mean…"
"I think you're a great hero dad! You go around saving people that need saving and protecting me and mom! You're great at being a hero dad!" Ronnie responded confidently with a big smile across her face.
Lucas let out a sigh of happiness and smiled. "Thank you Ronnie…" he said happily.
"No problem dad!" Ronnie said smiling at him.
Seeing Ronnie smile, always lit up Lucas's day. Even during time's that he felt defeated, having the love of his life by his side along with a loving daughter.
It made him feel as if he could do anything.

Ok ok ok ok ok….so…ummmmmm. Yeah I took me a whole mouth in a half. Why did I take me so long? Well ummm…I have no excuse. Well to be honest it was mostly me changing some parts of this chapter up with different scenes. And again…I am a gamer. So I spent some of my time playing games…so yeah.
