A/N it is 8/9/17 9:10pm I am now starting the next Chapter of EL Tigre the new adventures. I didn't mean to write that like I was writing a journal log or anything. But then again I am seeing how long it usually is before the next chapter comes out. Anyway, here is Chapter 62/Season 2 Episode 39 of EL Tigre the new adventures! Enjoy!

EL Tigre The New Adventures Season 2 Episode 39 – Lucas

After Lucas and Ronnie arrived back home after their visit to Lucas's mother Rosetta, he goes into his bedroom to talk to his wife Valentina. He reached into the closet grabbed a grey T-shirt, blue jeans and green and grey running shoes.

"So, how did everything go with Rosetta?" Valentina asked sitting on their bed and staring up at Lucas.

"Oh it went well. After me and her talked we just hung out, told stories and ate some food." Lucas said putting on his T-shirt.

Valentina smiled "That's good!" She said happily

"She said you should try and stop by next time, she would love it if you did!"

"I would love to!" Valentina gets up from the bed and walks over to her husband and wraps her arms around his neck. "Stay home today…it's been peaceful for quite awhile…" she said softly, whispering into her husband's ear.

Lucas chuckled "You know my mom made a very good point in the conversation we had." He said placing his hand on hers.

"What do you mean?"

"She said that I shouldn't let my guard down even during peaceful times…you'll never know what might happen."

Lucas turned around and stares at Valentina "I don't want to lose you or Ronnie because of my carelessness…" he said staring her in the eyes.

Valentina simply smiled and rest her head on Lucas's shoulder. Lucas smiled as well, and wraps his arms around Valentina and holds her close.

"But…there're times I wish that…there wasn't any danger at all. I wish there was a place that we can go where it's quiet and safe…and we can just live peacefully…" Lucas whispered to her.

Valentina and looks up at her husband, she places her hand on his left cheek and kisses him softly on the lips.

"Lucas…I don't care where we are, or what's happening. Just the thought of knowing I'm with you and our daughter is by our side, I don't care what happens." She said placing her head on his shoulder once again.

"Valentina…" Lucas said smiling happily, he held her close, and once again their lips touched.

They broke apart; Lucas grabs his coat, gives her wife one more kiss on the cheek and leaves the room. Lucas walked over to the front door of their home and reaches for the door knob.

"WAIT! HOLD ON DAD!" Ronnie shouted, popping out of nowhere. Lucas jumps in shock and places his hand on his heart.

"Jeez Ronnie you nearly gave me a heart attack!" Lucas said looking Ronnie.

"Sorry! But this is important!"

"No Ronnie you cannot patrol with me."

"But you always say no!"

"Ronnie you already know the answer to that."

"Wait wait wait! Let me guess! It's because I'm too young right?!" Ronnie said pointing.

"Oh wow how did you know?" Luca said with a grin.

"But dad you always say that, when am I ever going to get to go out with you?!" Ronnie said turning away from her father with arms crossed. "There is hardly anything that ever goes on! I would be fine!"

Lucas sighed but smiled. He digs into his pocket and takes out the family ring.

"Ronnie, can you please turn around?" Lucas asked

"Hmph!" Ronnie said with her cheeks puffed.

Lucas chuckles and turns her around. Ronnie opened one eye and looks at Lucas's hand seeing the family ring. Her eye's glowed and she gasped. Ronnie instantly remembered the time that she had seen her father use the family ring, it was during a time that they all went out together

"Ronnie, I know you really want to come with me on patrol. But right now you way to young. I know you are sick of hearing that but right now you aren't ready. But…when you are older I'll teach you how to use this ring, this ring that has been in our family for generations and has been passed down through generations and generations. I want to be the one to pass this ring down to you when the time is right." Lucas said, smiling warmly at her daughter.

Ronnie looks at her father and hugs him. Lucas wraps her arms around Ronnie, returning the hug. Valentina stood next to the couch smiling at the two of them.

"Alright, time for me to head out." Lucas said letting go of Ronnie. He looked over at Valentina "Call me if anything happens ok?"

Valentina smiled "Of course." She said nodding.

With that, Lucas opens the door and heads out on the daily patrol.

…

"Man…I wish my mom didn't have me get up in the morning for that talk…" Lucas said yawning. "I could fall asleep if I don't keep my body active. I should have made some coffee before I left…"

"Hey Lucas, you're looking pale as usual."

"Huh?"

"Morning Lucas," Said Jason Morgan. He wore glasses that had yellow lens, and a tan suit with a black shirt along with tan brown pants and black shoes. He had healthy light brown skin and his black hair was high fade and neatly kept. "You look tired and worn out already."

Height 5,9

Occupation: Leader of the Sword Cops of Washington

"Jason? Well this is a surprise. What're you doing back in California?" Lucas asked.

"It's a lot to explain actually. Come on, I'll tell you over a hot cup of coffee." Jason said patting him on the shoulder.

The both of them went over to a nearby diner. The atmosphere of the diner was very cheery. The light from the sun shined in through the windows. Lucas and Jason sat over to the window where the sun was shining through.

"This diner has the best view of the outside, which is why I love coming to this one specifically." Jason said staring out the window.

"I agree. Even on rainy days this place gives off a relaxing atmosphere." Lucas said nodding in agreement.

Jason ordered two cups of coffee. After a couple of minutes waiting the waiter brought the two cups of coffee to Lucas and Jason's table.

"Yes, this is just what I needed!" Lucas said taking a sip of his coffee.

"You looked tired, had to do something early in the morning?" Jason asked.

"Yeah, my mom wanted me to come see her first thing in morning." Lucas said with a sigh.

"She's still giving you a hard time huh?"

"Kind of, but she means well. She pretty much just told me not to get too relaxed even if it's peaceful and all."

"She has a point you know."

"Yeah yeah I know."

Lucas and Jason have known each other for a long time. Ever since he and Jason teamed up to take down one of Washington's well know villains 3 years ago. They've been best friends ever since.

"So anyway, what brings you back to Cali anyway?" Lucas asked again.

Jason took a sip of his coffee and looked at Lucas with a serious expression on his face. Lucas looked at Jason curiously.

"Well, I'm not the only one here actually. I have squad A of the sword corps here to." Jason said in a deep and serious tone.

"Squad A? Just what the heck is going on?" Lucas asked worriedly

"A very dangerous individual that goes by the name Micholash is believed to be hiding out here in California." Jason explained.

"Micholash?" Lucas said confused "Who the heck is that?"

"Micholash is one of the most wanted men in the United States; from what we've had been told he has an ability that can alter the brain of an individual…putting them into a state of false reality so fierce it could kill them as if it was real."

Lucas looked at his cup of coffee going into deep thought. He looked back up at Jason.

"So he's here in Cali, in this area?" Lucas asked hesitantly

"That's what one of the members of squad A told me. They're all over the residential area scouting out for him…" Jason said, taking another sip of his coffee.

"What does this guy look like?" Lucas asked.

"Short messy hair, his skin is even paler then yours, and…as for his facial features. He wears a mask, you know like the happy and sad logo you see in one of those plays or opera. The mask he's wearing is the happy one. We haven't seen his actual face at all…" Jason said in frustrated tone.

"Well that's defiantly troublesome…" Lucas said scratching his left cheek.

"Ugh tell me about it. An illusion so powerful that even if it's not really it could kill you, damn, this is going to be annoying to deal with." Jason said with a small laugh and takes a big gulp of his coffee "But we've been through far worse, ain't that right Lucas?"

Lucas couldn't help but smile "You're right about that." He said taking a big sip of his Coffee as well.

"Alright, I better get back to the squad. I'll be seeing you around Lucas, and hey, you make sure watch your back, this man is a sneaky bastard." Jason said getting up from the table and patting Lucas on his shoulder.

"Same to you Jason," Lucas said nodding.

Jason throws away his empty cup of coffee and leaves the diner.

Lucas finished his cup of Coffee but decided to sit at his table for a little bit longer. He started to think about this Micholash man. Just how dangerous could he be? Lucas might have the power to use speed at his will, but he never underestimated anybody. He was careful, observant, never makes the first move, he always studies his opponent and comes up with a strategy to defeat his opponents. But he started to think about Micholashs's ability. "In illusion so strong that it could trick the mind into thinking the person has died." It certainly was a intimidating ability.

Lucas gets up from his seat, throws away his cup of Coffee and leaves the diner, and as he was about to leave the area, a loud roar coming from down the road. Citizens who were walking on the street jumped at the sound of the roar.

"That didn't sound too good…" Lucas whispered to himself.

A car was suddenly tossed into air and was heading straight for a group of people.

"NO!" Lucas said quickly digging into his pocket, and places on the family ring.

With a flash of green light, Lucas transformed, his suit was black with lightning bolts around going around the upper body of the suit and bolts going around his legs.

Lucas started to move, and when he did, it seemed that everything around him was moving extremely slow. He dashed forward, places his hand around the car and sits it down on the other side of the road.

"HEY! IT"S LIGHTNING KICK!" One of the citizens shouted.

"Hurry, get to safety!" Lucas shouted.

The citizens nodded and ran off. Lucas looked toward where car was tossed. Coming into view was a 8 feet tall man, hair covered his chest, arms and legs. His muscles were thick and his fists were wide, and his head was shaped like an egg. His eye balls were completely black. Purple static was sparking around his fist, and a black and red aura was resonating around his body.

"Hmm…not bad…" Said Goro, in a low, deep and threatening voice

"Wh-Who the hell is he?" Lucas said with a shaky voice "That can't be Micholash…hell no!"

Goro looked over at Lucas "Who are you?" he said staring at Lucas.

"That's my line!" Lucas said glaring at Goro

"Hmm…" Goro "Oh wait, you're that speedy hero guy…are you apart of that speed family bloodline right? Interesting…it's an honor…"

Lucas narrowed his eyes at Goro. Lucas went through a few calculations in his head, thinking about what to expect, or how Goro might attack.

"Man…this power feels weird…hm? I'll get use to it? ok..."

"Who the hell is he talking to?" Lucas thought.

Goro stomps his foot on the ground, and under Lucas feet were cracks in the ground the glowed purple. Lucas dodged it with ease of course, Lucas expected spikes to shoot out of the ground to his surprise the ground where the cracks were sunk in.

"Huh?" Lucas said confused.

"Wait? What was that supposed to do?" Goro said scratching the top of his bald head. "Huh? Oh yeah I'll try that now!" Lucas bawled his and throws a punch, and glowing purple light shoots out of the air and jets towards Lucas.

Lucas narrows his eyes at the glowing purple light that was already near his face. Using his speed he tilts his head to the right, and the glowing purple light pierced through 4 cars. The cars soon exploded at the same time.

"Oooh I like that one." Goro said with a smirk across his face. He nods "Yeah, I can't wait to learn this power. Of course, I'm not going to get cocky with it, just show me the ropes."

"That beam was just as fast as me!" Lucas said shocked.

"Huh? What? But we just started!" Goro said annoyed "What? Fine…ok, but if I run into anything else I'm cutting lose!"

Goro's entire body turned into black and purple smoke. And just like that, Goro was gone. Lucas stood there staring at the spot where Goro was standing.

"HEY! LUCAS!" Jason said running over to him with a sword in hand.

"You're a little late Jason…" Lucas said looking at him. "Don't worry…he's gone."

"Huh? Who was he?" Jason asked.

"No idea..." Lucas said shaking his head. "That sure was weird. He was talking to himself throughout our fight…"

Jason looked over at the purple hole in the ground that was slowly disappearing. He sighs and rubs the back of his neck.

"Was anyone hurt?" Jason asked.

"No, everyone got away in time…"

"That's good; whoever the hell that guy was is defiantly dangerous. I'll be having squad A scout the area the rest of the day, who knows if he's plotting to attack again,"

"Call me if anything happens, that guy I fought really rubbed me the wrong way. His powers were…well…I really don't know how to explain it…" Lucas said rubbing his chin. "Anyway, I'm heading back home. With that weird bastard running around I don't want to be away from my family."

"I understand, be careful on your way back." Jason said nodding.

Lucas took off his ring, reverting back to his normal clothing, and hurried on home.

…

Ronnie was sitting at the kitchen table, watching her mother watering the plants that she had placed in the kitchen window.

"Hey, mom," Said Ronnie "How did you and dad meet?"

"How did we meet? Well…" Valentina sat down at the table with Ronnie. "It all started when this random criminal held me hostage at gun point. That man took me to the top of this tall building and threatens to throw me off if I tried anything funny. So when the cop got to the top of the building, that criminal threw me off."

Ronnie gasped.

"At first I thought I was going to die…but before I knew it, I fell into his arms. I looked up, seeing him. The first thing he said to me was "Wow, you have really beautiful eyes." Valentina said giggling.

Ronnie chuckles "Aww!"

"Well, to be honest I tried to be smooth." Lucas said walking into the kitchen "Then again I wish I would have said something better."

"Daddy!" Ronnie said running to Lucas and hugging him.

"You're home already? You usually don't get back till evening." Valentina said looking over at Lucas.

"Well, some stuff is going on and I decided to come home early." Luca said while patting Ronnie's head.

"Oh? What's going on?"

"Well, there are these weird villains that are running around. One of them I had already fought and another who's in hiding. They could be anywhere and I wanted to be here at home where I can make sure nothing happens." Lucas explained

"Lucas…" Valentina said smiling softly.

"YAY daddy is home early!" Ronnie said excited. Lucas smiles down at Ronnie.

"Well it's time to start getting dinner ready," Valentina said getting up from her seat.

"Hey Ronnie, want to go watch your favorite cartoon?" Lucas asked

"YES!" Ronnie said hopping up and down in happiness.

Ronnie and Lucas went to the living room and sat down on the couch, and watched Ronnie's favorite cartoon.

…

Night time had come, Ronnie was fast asleep and Lucas and Valentina were still awake. Lucas was lying in bed staring up at the ceiling; Valentina had a lamp light on, and is reading one of her favorite books. Valentina looked over at Lucas, seeing that he had a worried expression on his face.

"Are you ok dear?" She asked softly

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine, just thinking is all." Lucas said quietly

Valentina puts her book away, turns off the lamp light, and she cuddles up to Lucas and rests her head on his shoulder and stares at him.

"What are you thinking about?" She asked softly.

Lucas sighed and looks at Valentina "Just…I'm just worried is all. I just don't want anything to happen…" he said in worried tone.

"You worry too much Lucas, but then again that's what I love about you, so caring." Valentina said rubbing his cheek.

Lucas smiled, and Valentina kissed Lucas passionately. They both lied in bed and held each other closely. Once they were about to doze off to sleep, Lucas's phone had gone off. Lucas groaned and lazily reached over, picked up his phone and answered

"Hello?" Lucas said tiredly.

"Lucas! We found him! He's shown himself!" Jason quickly, sounding out of breath and hurt.

"What did you say?" Lucas said quickly lying up.

"Micholash!" Jason bellowed "He's in town! He's already killed five of my soldiers and has killed ten innocent!"

"J-just hold on! I'll be right there just keep stalling him till then!" Lucas said hopping out of the bed and quickly getting dressed.

"L-Lucas?" Valentina said rubbing her eye's "What's wrong? What's going on?"

"I need to head out, that man Jason told me about is in the town and he just killed five of sword cops that were stationed!" Lucas said grabbing a random shirt from his closet and quickly putting it on.

"O-oh…"

Lucas looked over at Valentina and paused for a moment. He went over to her, places his hand on her cheek and kissed her.

"I'll be back soon ok?" Lucas said confidently with a smile.

Valentina smiled back and nods "Ok…I love you…" She said quietly.

"I love you too." Lucas replied. He grabs the family ring off the table, and heads out the room, but he stops. He looks toward Ronnie's room walks in, seeing her daughter sleeping peacefully in the bed.

He walks over to her, kneels over and kisses her on her forehead. Lucas walks out of Ronnie's room and leaves the home. He places his ring on his finger, transforms and sprints down the street using his speed.

…

"AARGH!" Screamed one of the sword cops, as blood gushed from his chest. The sword cop fell flat on his back. Goro steps on the sword cops chest hard, and blood shoots out of his mouth.

"D-Damn it!" Jason screamed in frustration. Jason was badly beat up. He had a deep cut above his forehead and bruises all around his upper body.

"B-Boss…what the hell do we do? Our swords aren't cutting through his skin at all!" Said a young sword cops soldier named Adam.

Jason pants "Just wait for-"

"JASON!" Lucas said arriving on to the scene.

"heh, speak of the devil…" Jason said. He coughs falls on to his knees. "DAMN IT ALL! DAMN IT! THAT MONSTER KILLED MY MEN!'"

Lucas looked around at the scene. Five bodies lay across the ground. One of the soldier's legs was completely smashed and his face mangled. Another soldier lied on the ground, blood leaking out from his head, the other two soldiers were laid back on the wall, and they're faces smashed against the stone wall.

"Oh my god…" Lucas said with his voice shaky.

Goro looks over at Lucas and smiles "Oh it's him again," He said grinning at Lucas.

Lucas bats his eyes at goro and clenches his fist. Goro was about to open his mouth and speak, but was met with a strong kick the jaw. Goro was sent flying into a truck that was parked.

"YOU MONSTER, I"LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS!" Lucas roared at the top of his lungs.

"Whoa…now that was one heck of a kick! Your speed really is something!" Goro said rubbing his jaw.

"His speed…it really is amazing is it?" Said a man with a distorted and deep voice

Jason eyes widen "I-it's him…" he said breathlessly

He walked towards them, his body completely pale, his body skinny, as if he hadn't eaten in months. He wore blue skinny jeans but didn't wear any shoes; his hair was long and messy, and on his face he wore a happy face opera mask.

"Lightning kick right?" Said Micholash "I like your outfit…it looks pretty cool…"

Lucas stared at Micholash for a moment. He couldn't believe how Micholash appearance was. Was this really him? He looked starved and weak, but yet this is the man that has caused so much torture to others.

"Don't let him fool you!" Adam cried. "HE"S A DEMON! HE"S A MONSTER!"

"Make up your mind will you?" Micholash said scratching the back of his head. "Demon, monster, just make up your mind already, although I guess they're the same thing."

"Hey Micholash, let me get this guy! Before you made me retreat!" Goro said getting to his feet.

"Nah, you already had your fun with these men over here," Micholash points to the dead corpses of the sword cops. "I want to see what this speed guy is all about."

"Tch…fine…" Goro said sitting down on the ground.

Micholash lets out a raspy chuckle and looks over at Lucas. He then tilts his head curiously at him. He walks over to Lucas, slowly as if he was talking a stroll down the park.

Lucas didn't know if he should attack. Micholash looked so sickly and weak.

Micholash stopped walking and begins to laugh and then he said "I can sense the confusion in your heart. You, lighting kick," he points toward Lucas "You are a coward…"

Lucas blinked in confusion

Micholash clenches his fist and whispered "Intimidation…"

A black and purplish wave flowed out of Micholash's body, and blows through Lucas. Lucas just stood there, his eyes widen, and he began to sweat, his knees began to feel weak and he fell back. Lucas tried to say word, but the fear he felt made it hard for him to make words.

"And just like that…that's all it takes…" Micholash said, placing his hands in his pocket.

"L-Lucas, what the hell?! LUCAS!" Jason called out to him.

"I….i….i…I-i…I can't beat him…" Lucas stuttered, sounding as if all the breath from his body was gone.

Intimidation, a technique that shows the danger that one can cause to individual and at the same time releases the fear that that opponent has within them, causing the opponent to feel helpless and scared to the point where the opponent could be traumatized.

"So…this is how scared you really are? Aren't hero's suppose to be fearless or something? Man you're a disappointment." Micholash said shaking his head and laughing.

"LUCAS GET AHOLD OF YOURSELF DAMN IT!" Jason screamed at the top of his lungs.

Lucas couldn't hear him. He was terrified and only thought "I hope he doesn't kill me, please don't kill me!"

Adam picked up his sword and charged at Micholash, clutching his sword tightly and screams at the top of his lungs. Goro quickly caught Adam by his head.

"ADAM! NO DAMN IT PUT HIM DOWN!" Lucas yelled.

"He should have just stayed down…"Goro said clutching Adam's head, completely crushing his skull.

"ADAAAAM!" Jason cried "NO DAMN IT! NOOOOO!"

"Well that's over and done with." Micholash said stretching "Goro, let's go. It's time for us to leave."

Goro lets a deep and heavy laugh, and he and Micholash started sinking into the ground in a purple light, and just like that…they were gone.

Jason screamed in frustration, he had lost his entire squad in one night. Lucas sat there, speechless; he had just let the enemy escape after killing innocent people, and the entire squad A of the sword cops die.

Lucas succumbed to his own fear.

A/N 8/31st/ 2017 well damn, again I posted a chapter on last date of the month. But you know something? I actually got this chapter out faster than usual. Usually it takes me longer like two months or something. But anyway it's here! By the way…Persona 5 is another reason why this chapter took a little longer to get done…ooooh how I love Persona 5…anyway that's all for this! See you all in the next!
