A/N Attention to El Tigre the new adventures readers! The very first chapter of El Tigre the new adventure's has been re-written, and so will the entire first Season of El Tigre the new adventures. Over time I will be writing each chapter of season 1, probably after each update of season 2. So that's all I wanted to update everyone on! So with that out of the way here is the 70th chapter of El Tigre the new adventures! Enjoy!
El Tigre the new adventures Season 2 Episode 47 – Look Towards the Future
"Damn that man…I'LL KILL HIM! How dare he try and harm my daughter! I WILL Hunt him down and kill him!" Emiliano vented.
Frida stayed quite. She was sitting on the sidewalk behind her father who was ranting on at his partner's about Tetsuo. Her whole attention was on Manny, Marcus, Ronnie, Johnny and Carmen. The paramedic's were tending to the wounds that five of them had suffered. All they could've done at for Manny Johnny and Carmen was to check if the wound was properly sealed since Diego had already sealed it himself. Ronnie was getting her arms checked out and Marcus was being tended to.
Frida turned to left, but quickly closed her eyes and turned away after seeing them place Dr. Chipotle Sr. into the body bag. She still couldn't believe that Diego would so such a thing.
"Hmm…to think he would do that to his own flesh and blood." Emiliano said watching as they drag Dr. Chipotle Sr. Body into the van.
"Diego…" Frida whispered
"Frida?" Manny said walking over to her. Manny sat down next to Frida "Are you…ok?"
Frida looked at Manny and smiled "Yeah…I'm fine. Is Johnny and Carmen ok?"
"Carmen's wound is fine. Johnny's going to get taken the hospital to get the bullet's removed."
"I see…at least there alive…" Frida said softly
"Yeah…" Manny nods
Frida looked over at Sergio who's been sitting down with his face buried between his legs. H hasn't moved from that spot since Emiliano had arrived.
"Sergio..." Frida whispered
"Wasn't Sergio and Diego best friends?" Manny asked
Frida nods "Yeah…I guess so…"
They walked over to Sergio. Once they were close enough they could hear the faint sobs coming from Sergio.
Frida sat next to Sergio and said "Hey…" She said softly.
Sergio didn't respond. He just continued to sob.
"Sergio…" Manny said "I'm…I'm sorry about Diego…"
Sergio got to his feet and wipes his eyes. He didn't say anything. He turned away from them and walked away.
"W-wait Sergio," Frida called out to him.
"Just let him go Frida…" Johnny said walking over to them with the help of Carmen "I don't think there's anything that we can say that's going to cheer him up…"
The group then went over to check on Ronnie. She was sitting on the back on the ambulance as the paramedic's tended to her arms.
"Hey guys…are you all alright?" Ronnie asked
"Yeah we're ok. What about you?" Frida asked
"Well…both my arms are broken, but hey at least I'm not dead right?" Ronnie said chuckling.
Frida and the rest of the group chuckled
"Yeah…that's true…" Frida said happily "We're all alive…" She said softly.
"MANNY!" Screamed Rodolfo
They all turned around to see Rodolfo, Puma Loco and Ryumaru run towards them.
"WE GOT HERE AS FAST AS WE COULD! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Rodolfo said frantically
"Yeah I'm fine I'm fine!" Manny said "The wounds ok!"
"Is it true that Tetsuo was here? Did he really come back?!" Ryumaru asked
"Yeah…he was here…we tried fight him off but…" Frida said hanging her head low slightly "Well you see what happened…"
They all explained to them in full of what happened. From there fight with Diego and Sergio, to Tetsuo arriving, to Marcus arriving and saving them, to explaining how Marcus fought Tetsuo, and to Sartana and Django who ended up chasing Tetsuo off.
"Diego…killed his own father?" Rodolfo said completely shocked.
"Well…from how Tetsuo explained it…Dr. Chipotle Sr. wasn't…technically his father at all…he was a clone or something…" Manny tried to explain
"BAH! It doesn't matter! THAT MAN RAISED DIEGO! HE IS HIS FATHER!" Puma loco shouted
"So Tetsuo used that to twist Diego's mind…" Ryumaru said as he sighed "Tetsuo also stole the body of another person here in Miracle city and switched the DNA of that person to his own…making himself another body to use and fight…so he wouldn't be using his real body to fight himself…who knows what other power's Tetsuo holds…"
"He needs to be dealt with permanently…" Emiliano said clenching his fist.
"I'm just glad everyone is ok…" Rodolfo looked at them. "Where's Marcus? Is he ok?"
They all turned towards the spot Marcus was laying at. Marcus was currently being treated and they preparing to take him to the hospital. They all went over to where Marcus lying to see if he was doing ok.
"Hey...we patched up your wound the best we could. We're about to get ready to take you to the hospital." The female Paramedic said to Marcus. "Hey…can you hear me?"
"Damn it…" Marcus whispered "Damn it all…damn it…"
Marcus had the words Tetsuo spoke to him echoing in his head.
"You will always lose the people you care for…no matter where you run to the burden will always be on your back…don't forget the people whose lives you took with that sword…"
Marcus slowly gets to his feet. He turned around and started to walk away.
"Wait, where are you going? You need to go to the hospital!" The female paramedic called out to Marcus.
"Just stay away from me…I don't need any more help…" Marcus said holding his wound.
"If you keep moving it's going to re-open!"
"Marcus!" Frida said as he walked over and stood next to the paramedic
"What are you doing?! You're hurt!" Ronnie called out to him.
"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Marcus shouted "JUST GET AWAY!"
"WHAT THE HECK IS YOUR PROBLEM?!" Manny screamed at Marcus
"I SAID STAY BACK!' Marcus formed fire around his arm and formed a wall of fire at that blocked the group from getting to Marcus.
"WHAT THE HELL'S GOTTEN INTO YOU?!" Johnny shouted to Marcus.
"MARCUS!" Ronnie yelled
But when the wall of fire died down, Marcus was nowhere to be seen.
"We need to find him!" The female paramedic said frantically "He nearly bled to death and if he moves around he'll re-open his wound!"
"I'll go search for him." Ryumaru said "He couldn't have gotten too far. Leave this to me."
"Right," Rodolfo nods
Ryumaru leaped on top of a building and continued to look for Marcus on the high grounds.
"Why would he act like that all of a sudden?" Frida whispered
"Tch I don't know…that stupid jerk." Johnny said
"I don't get it…what's gotten into him?" Carmen wondered
"I just hope he's ok…" Ronnie said worried
"Don't worry…he'll be ok. Ryumaru will find him soon…" Rodolfo said patting Ronnie's shoulder.
Manny didn't know what to say. He could only stand there and worry. That, and wonder why Marcus would act so aggressively towards them. He could only hope that his friend would be found soon.
…
He walked down the sidewalk with his hand clutching around his wound. He was breathing heavily and his vision began to blur. Everything around his was either blurry or spinning. He leaned up against a wall of nearby building and groaned at the pain of his now reopened wound. He closed his eyes as his whole body began to shake.
"He's right…" Marcus thought. He opened his eyes slightly and stared down at his blood covered hand. "It'll…always be like this for me…no matter where I go…it'll always be like this…"
"Where am I going?"
Marcus looked up. The entire area around him was dark. He looked back down at his hand and saw that his whole body was covered in a white blurry glow. He leans off the wall and continued to walk again, and with every step he took it would echo.
"That's right…nowhere…" Marcus thought. Marcus lets out a small laugh "People like me…will always go nowhere…I'll keep on going nowhere…till I die…"
Marcus began to shake violently. His breathing began to slow down. The echoes of Marcus's feet hitting the ground began to fade away. He stopped walking. He his body fell numb and his legs began to weaken.
"I…I don't want to keep going anymore…there's nowhere for me to keep going."
Marcus blurry light began to slowly dim out.
"This…is how it should be…"
The second Marcus was about to close his eyes. He heard the sound of a door opening. An immense light came from the direction of where the door opened. He looked to the right, seeing a girl with blond short hair and wearing a red dress stare at him.
He couldn't believe it. It was her.
"E-Emily…"
He couldn't stand anymore. Marcus fell forward, flat on the ground. His eyes began to feel heavy. He could hear the sound of Emily rush over to him. He could feel her warm presence near his cold body.
"Hey, listen to me! Don't die on me here! You're going to be ok! JUST HANG ON!"
Marcus looked up at her. Her voice didn't sound like Emily at all. But Marcus couldn't keep his eyes open.
He closed his eyes. And his body became motionless.
…
"I just don't think we can keep leaving Miracle city like this anymore…" Rodolfo told Emiliano. "We're getting nowhere in this investigation…"
"Have you even found anything out so far?" Emiliano asked.
"Well the only thing we found out so far is that the user of the ark darkness was behind that man Manny fought back in merry town. He was given a portion of the ark of darkness power by a man wrapped in a robe with green hair."
"And that's it?"
Rodolfo sighed "That's it sadly…"
"Humph…you all are wasting your time. You might as well let the hero's at Washington take care of everything. Seriously, we getting involved with the investigation isn't going to help at all." Emiliano complained.
"They could really use the help Emiliano. Just like Miracle city Washington has its issues with crime and villainy. They can only focus on so much."
"The same could be said with us! Look what happened! Our kids could have been killed by Tetsuo because we weren't around! Ugh! Honestly why did the president ever agree to allow our hero's to go out and except jobs! This has made crime even more of a problem!"
"I understand your frustration's Emiliano,"
The conversation went on.
Inside the rooms where the group was held, they listened to Rodolfo and Emiliano go back and forth at each other.
"Do they always talk this loud?" Johnny asked annoyed
"They're pretty tame right now…" Manny replied
Frida chuckles "Yeah…I'm just be glad it's not about Manny and me this time."
"They always use to argue about you two?" Carmen asked curiously
"Oh yeah all the time," Frida said "My dad use to complain about Manny being a big influence on me or something like that."
Carmen giggles "The rebel girl falling in love with the bad boy, that's so cute!"
"Oh stop it!" Frida said blushing "Me and him or just friends! No falling in love or anything!"
"Suuure!" Carmen continued to tease
Manny looked over at Ronnie who was just staring out the window.
"He's going to be ok Ronnie." Manny said to her.
Ronnie just sighed
"I mean…someone that stubborn isn't going to just fall dead…" Manny said trying to cheer her up.
"I know…I just…why would he snap at us like that?" Ronnie said sadly
"Who knows…" Johnny said laying his head back on his pillow "That Tetsuo guy was whispering something to him…I guess It got to him…"
"Did you hear anything he said?" Frida asked
Johnny tried to remember and then said "Something about a burden…and lives." He said scratching his head "That's all I could hear…"
"Lives and a burden, what the heck was he even trying to get at?" Carmen said confused
"I don't know…" Frida said rubbing her arm "I honestly don't want to think about it…or about Tetsuo…"
"Yeah…" Manny said nodding "Let's just relax right now…" he said lying back on his bed. But then suddenly a thought just came back to Manny. It was something that Tetsuo said to him.
"You mean to tell me you haven't broken the seal yourself yet?"
"I don't get it…" Manny thought "The tiger spirit told me he couldn't break it...why the heck would he lie?" Manny stared up at the ceiling of the room. "How am I supposed to break it?"
Manny looks out the window of the hospital room
"I just hope you're ok Marcus…"

It was dark, and the rain fell endlessly down from the dark cloudy skies. The sound of thunder made the ground rumble violently. Marcus sprinted down the street as fast as he could. The only thing that was on his mind was that he needed to get away; he needed to run as fast as he could. He didn't care where he went, or where ended up. The only thing on his mind was escaping. Nobody was going to help him; nobody was going to assist him.
He made a right turn and hopped a fence. He ran straight for an abandoned store and ran around the back. Marcus grabs the door knob of the back door of the store and turns it. But of course he wasn't surprised that the door was locked.
"Shit…" Marcus cursed. Marcus jumped at the sound of footsteps hitting the wet ground coming towards his way. "No way…how is already here! How does he know i…" Marcus didn't think, he just turned around and ran.
He looked behind him. All he could see is a shadowy figure with red eyes following him. No matter how fast he ran. He couldn't gain any distance. As soon as he looked forward he felt a cold icy blade stab him in the back. Marcus let out a sickening groan as he fell to the wet pavement.
"N-No…not now…please…not now…" Marcus pleaded.
The shadowy figure walked over to him. He yanked the blade out of Marcus's body violently.
"I'm sorry…I'm sorry…" Marcus said with tears coming out of his eyes. "Daddy…loves you…Daddy will always love you…"
Marcus felt the cold blade stab through the side of his neck piercing through his throat. Marcus couldn't even speak at this point. Blood was dripping from his mouth and the wound on the side of his neck. He gave up. There was nothing he could do.
The shadowy figure just stared down at the lifeless body of Marcus. He turned towards the left and stared at the glass window of a building. Only to see his red eyes stare back him. Marcus stared at himself in the glass window.
Marcus let out a loud scream of fear. He quickly lies up gasping for air. His body drenched in sweat. He pants as he quickly felt around his neck for a wound. There was nothing. He had that dream again. That dream from years ago.
Marcus started to remember. He remembers fighting Tetsuo, and after that…
"Oh…" Marcus said placing his elbow on his thigh and resting his head on the palm of his right hand "Wait…where am I?"
He turned to left, seeing a girl with dark brown skin and afro pig tails staring at him in shock and fear. She wore a purple t-shirt with black shorts.
"Who…are…" Marcus said
"MOOOOOOM!" The girl screamed running downstairs.
Marcus just stared at the spot where the girl was standing for a moment. "Uhh…"
He then heard the sounds of footsteps coming up the stairs. To Marcus's surprise, it was Cosmic Cleopatra that was to greet him. She wore a light brown sweater with white pants.
"Y-You're…"
"Nice to see that you're awake," Said Cosmic Cleopatra
"I…when did…how did…"
"Can you turn those off?" Cosmic Cleopatra said pointing at Marcus's eyes "You're scaring my daughter."
Marcus instantly knew what she was talking about. Every time Marcus was to have that dream. He would always wake up with his Devil's eyes active. He calmed down for a moment. And his eyes went back to normal.
"That's better," Cosmic Cleopatra said with a smile "Can you move?"
"Uh…yeah…" Marcus said taking the covers off of him and sits on the edge of the bed. He stands up wobbling a bit but was able to keep his balance..
"Your clothes are finished washing. There in the dryer." Cosmic Cleopatra informed him
"Thanks…" Marcus said "Hey uh…how long have I been out?"
Cosmic Cleopatra started to think "Let's see if my math is correct. I found you outside my home around 2:pm, so it's 11:pm now. You've been out for about 10 hours."
"10 hours? I see…"
"I also contacted Ryumaru just in case something went wrong. He was looking for you for awhile. I told him that I found you and I patched up your wounds that re opened." Said Cosmic Cleopatra
Marcus looked down at his stomach wound. He saw that it was patched up a lot neater than when the paramedic's did.
"I didn't want to get my hands all that dirty so I just used a bit of magic to not touch it…"
"Thanks…" Marcus said looking up at her.
"No problem. Anyway, I know you must be hungry. So come on downstairs." Cosmic Cleopatra said turning to left and walking downstairs.
Cosmic Cleopatra's daughter Angela came back upstairs with Marcus's black shirt and slowly hands it to him.
Marcus takes the shirt and smiles at her "I appreciate it." He said softly.
Angela blushed and quickly headed downstairs.
Marcus placed his shirt back on and walked downstairs. He passed a bunch of pictures of Cosmic Cleopatra with her daughter; Cleopatra with Marcus believes to be her mother and father, and Cosmic Cleopatra with her daughter and what looks like to be her husband.
Cosmic Cleopatra's living room was pretty spacious. The light brown couches were placed up against the beige walls and the television was placed on the far left next to the living rooms windows. On the right was the large living room table that had three chairs placed underneath.
"We have turkey, vegetables, mashed potatoes with gravy and cornbread; what would you like?" Cosmic Cleopatra asked as she brought the pans of food into living room and placing it on the table.
"You don't need to do that. I'm not really all that hungry…" Marcus said
"Kid, you lost all that blood and nearly bled to death. Get over here and eat something." Cosmic Cleopatra demanded, her voice sounding very serious.
"Y-YES MAM!" Marcus said hurrying to sit at the table.
Cosmic Cleopatra smiled happily and placed a plate in front of Marcus and filed it with a big turkey leg, mashed potatoes and cornbread. The smell of the food lingered around his nose. The food smelled amazing and Marcus's mouth started to drool.
Cosmic Cleopatra stared at him for a moment and then said "Well, dig in!"
Marcus picked up the turkey leg and took a big bite out of it. He didn't hold back at all and started eating like crazy. Cosmic Cleopatra giggles at Marcus. She goes into the kitchen to fix herself some coffee. This feeling, this warm feeling was very familiar to Marcus. It was like Marcus was back home, eating dinner with his family. It was like he was eating a home cooked meal cooked from his mother.
After three helpings of food, Marcus sat over on the sofa relaxing and letting his food digest. Cosmic Cleopatra sat across from him sipping on her cup of coffee.
Cosmic Cleopatra smiled at him "Was the food good?" She asked
"It was amazing…it was…marvelous…" Marcus said smiling
Cosmic Cleopatra chuckles "It must have been awhile since you had a home cooked meal huh?"
"Actually…yeah it has been awhile." Marcus replied softly
"Well I'm glad to be the one to give you your first home cooked meal in awhile." Cosmic Cleopatra said smiling at him.
"Thanks…again. I don't really deserve all this kindness…" Marcus said staring down at his hands as they were intertwined.
"Well after what you went through with that monster Tetsuo you deserve a lot more."
Marcus clenches his hands tightly at the sound of Tetsuo's name.
"Your friends told Ryumaru me that you fought against him. Then Sartana of the dead and Django pops out of nowhere to save you guys. But then after everything settled down you stormed off. What was the problem if I might ask?" Cosmic Cleopatra said placing her coffee down on the living room table.
Marcus hung his head low a bit "I…just needed to get away. It was mistake coming here to Miracle city I should have left when I got here…"
Cosmic Cleopatra looked at him a bit confused
"You should have just left me out there…" Marcus said painfully
"Hmm…so you're saying that I should have left you out there to die is that right?" Cosmic Cleopatra said
Marcus stayed quiet.
"How would your friends feel about that?"
Marcus's eyes widen.
"You didn't think about that, did you?" Cosmic Cleopatra said picking up her cup of coffee and taking a sip.
Marcus clenched his teeth.
"Marcus was it?" Cosmic Cleopatra began "How old are you?"
"16…" Marcus responded weakly
"I see. You're 16 years old and with a body full of scars. At first I thought you got so many because of the fight. But those scars were ones that healed over the years. You must have gone through a lot..." She said
Marcus just sat there. He sat there with his hands shaking lightly. He then whispered in a hesitant voice "I…i…I did things that…I'm not proud of i…" Marcus buries his face in his hands "How could I deserve this kindness form people when I've…I've…"
Cosmic Cleopatra places the half empty cup of coffee and lays her back against the sofa.
"You know…I don't know what you did, but it's not the end of the world for you." Cosmic Cleopatra began.
Marcus looked up at her
"You aren't the first person that's done terrible things or made terrible mistakes. It's what makes us human. What's most important is that you want to right the mistakes you made. Everyone in life deserves a second chance. Don't worry about what you did in the past. Just worry about what's most important in the future, and keep looking forward."
"Right the mistakes…keep looking towards the future…" Marcus repeated. "That's right…" he thought "I came here to Miracle city to start a new path for me. That's the only reason I picked up my sword again, so I can protect the people that I care for..."
"I've made dumb decisions too. Team up with those stupid idiot's…" Cosmic Cleopatra said referring to silver sombrero and the industrialist.
Marcus chuckles "Didn't you try to sacrifice Manny to some weird dragon 3 years ago?"
Cosmic Cleopatra gulps "W-well…I mean…IT WAS THERE IDEA!" she said frantically
"Uh-huh."
"I don't want to talk about it!" Cosmic Cleopatra said crossing her arms and looking away
Marcus let out a chuckle which turned into a small laugh. Cosmic Cleopatra couldn't help but laugh along with him.
"Truly…from the bottom of my heart…thank you…" Marcus said sincerely
"Anytime," Cosmic Cleopatra said smiling warmly at him.
It had been awhile since Marcus had felt such relief. Marcus took a deep breath and exhaled. He gets up from the sofa
"Leaving so soon? It really has been awhile since I've had a man in the house." Cosmic Cleopatra said in a flirty manner
Marcus blushed "Uhh I uhh…well…"
Cosmic Cleopatra giggles "I'm kidding I'm kidding!"
"Heheheh…" Marcus's cheeks were red and he rubs the back of his head.
Marcus walked out the front door of Cosmic Cleopatra and looked up at the star covered night sky.
"Byeeee!" Angela said waving at Marcus with a big smile on her face.
Marcus turned around and waved at Angela
"You take care of yourself Marcus." Cosmic Cleopatra said with a smile
"I will. And thanks again!" Marcus said returning the smile.
And with that, Cosmic Cleopatra closed the door.
Marcus looked up back up at the star covered sky. He couldn't help but smile happily.
"Look towards the future…" Marcus said as he began walking down the street.
"I really do like the sound of that…"
