El Tigre the new Adventures Season 2 Episode 55 – Onwards to Battle
"Gregory Von Dolin?" Manny repeated, "Wait- where are we?"
"You're in my home." Gregory replied, "I had to get you quickly away from town before anyone else showed up, especially after that bastard bat was killed."
"You killed that thing by yourself?" Manny asked surprised
"All I did was shot it with my harpoon when it was more worried about killing you two." Said Gregory, looking into the living where his kitchen was as well. He then turns back to Manny "How are you feeling by the way?"
"Well I can still hear thankfully," Said Manny, as he picked his right ear with his pinkie finger. He then looks over at Marcus who was still resting. "Is Marcus ok?"
"Oh, he's more than fine. All he needs to do is keep resting and he should be ok. In the meantime do you want anything to eat?"
"Heck yeah, I'm starving!" Manny said with a smile across his face as he hops out of bed.
"Follow me. I have some chicken soup cooking in a pot." Said Gregory, as he left into the kitchen
Manny follows Gregory into the living room. Gregory was in the kitchen stirred the pot of chicken noodle soup. Manny looked around the living room. The floor itself looked extremely dirty. The couches looked worn out and very uncomfortable to sit. The living room itself was pretty spacious, and in the kitchen, there seemed to be a door the lead to somewhere in the house. The ceiling was just as dirty as the floor, and in some corners of the ceiling were thick looking cobwebs.
"I know it's not the best place to live," Gregory said, knowing that Manny was looking around the living room.
"Oh no I was uhh," Manny said trying to come up with an excuse.
"No no don't worry. I know it's not the best. I even hate it myself, being forced to stay here…" Said Gregory, as he lifted the ladle and tasted the chicken soup.
"Forced?" Manny said raising a brow.
"Soups ready," Gregory informed as he grabs a clean bowl from the cabinet and filled it with some chicken soup. Gregory places a clean spoon in the bowl and he turns around, and he turns, limps over to Manny and hands him the bowl of soup. "It's not much but it's all I have at the moment…"
"Hey don't worry about it! Thanks," Manny said taking the bowl of soup. He grasped the spoon and began eating the noodles.
Gregory limped over to the stove and grabs him a bowl, pouring some soup into it and limps back over to sit down on the couch.
"Thanks by the way," said Manny sincerely "For saving me and my friend."
"It was no problem at all," Gregory said, as he then took a spoon full of soup "So, you're El Tigre huh?"
"Yeah, that's me!" Manny said as a smile appeared on his face. He always enjoyed knowing that people knew who he was outside of Miracle city.
"I see, all the way from Miracle city to deal with a "werewolf problem" hmm?"
"Or so we thought at least…" Manny replied, staring down at his soup "Turns out they're being framed by those vampires."
"Don't worry I know the whole situation…" Gregory said softly
"You do?"
"Yes, they've been gloating that at me for a while now…" Gregory said as he stirred his bowl of
"What do you mean?" Manny asked confused "You've also said that you were forced to stay here."
"Well," As Gregory sat down his bowl of soup and was about to explain to Manny; coming from the other room was Marcus, yawning and scratching the back of his head.
"Where are we?" Marcus asked looking around the dirty room.
"Welcome to my home-umm…" Gregory cut off his sentence not knowing Marcus's name.
"It's Marcus," Marcus informed him "You're the guy that saved us right?" He asked
"That's right." Gregory nodded "My names Gregory Von Dolin; would you like some chicken soup?" He offered, showing him his bowl of chicken soup.
"Nice to meet you," Marcus replied softly. "And I appreciate it but no thanks." He said as he walked over to the sofa and sat down. Marcus didn't seem too bothered by how dirty everything was. "In all honesty, I need an ear drop over food or something."
"Well for me then," said Gregory as he continued eating.
"Do the others know we're here?" Marcus asked Manny.
"Uhhh, no I don't think so," Manny responded sitting down his bowl of soup.
"I was going to ask you about that actually," Gregory said as he sat down his bowl of soup "I can contact them to get them all here so we can discuss the plan I have in mind."
"Where are we exactly?" Marcus asked getting up from the couch and looking out the window. It was just beginning to get dark, and there were large thick trees that were spread out around the area. "Are we in the forest?"
"Yes, we are," Gregory said getting up from the couch and limping towards the kitchen sink and opening the window that was above it. Gregory placed his fingers in his mouth and let out a loud whistle. A whistle that sounded completely different from a normal one.
Both Manny and Marcus wondered what he was whistling out for. Gregory held his arm out of the window. The two of them could hear the words "How're doing Winston," that Gregory whispered. Gregory pulled his arm out from the window, and standing on his arm was a bat, with red fur and black wings. Both Manny and Marcus eyes widen in shock as they see the bat on Gregory's arm. The two of them sprung to their feet. Manny transformed into El Tigre, and Marcus whipped out his sword and engulfed it with fire. Gregory stared at them for a moment and then said
"Is there something wrong?" asked Gregory, like Winston, the bat, was looking between Gregory and the two boys.
"IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG?!" Marcus bellowed
"YOU HAVE A BAT ON YOUR ARM!" Manny screamed, pointing at the little brown-furred bat on Gregory's arm.
"No no no," Gregory said quickly "You have it all wrong. This is not a vampire bat!" He reassured, "This is Winston." Winston's ears flickered around "He's a Flying Fox Bat."
"A Fox bat?" Manny said confused "A fox can turn into a bat?"
"No that's the species that Winston is," Gregory said letting out a small laugh at Manny's question while patting Winston's head. "He's one of the messenger bats that I have. He is also the one who fetches food for the house."
"Wait, how do you know that's not a vampire bat? Can't vampire's shapeshift and stuff?" Manny asked
"Yes, Vampires can shapeshift. But a Vampire can also have the power to turn a regular bat, into a Vampire bat. They have thicker black fur, and longer teeth and purple eyes." Gregory explained. "Winston right here is a perfectly normal bat!"
"Phew…" Manny said wiping his head "That sure is a relief."
Marcus crossed his arms and stared at Gregory "How do you know so much about—"Marcus was cut off by a grey bat that came flying through the window and crashing into Marcus's face and knocking him to the ground.
"Ah, I figured you'd be coming too as soon as I called Winston, Derpy," Gregory said with a smile
"Huh- Derpy?" Manny said looking down on the floor where Marcus fell.
Derpy was standing on Marcus's face as he looked up at Manny. He was a long bat with grey fur, and his eyes were all uneven, hence the name Derpy.
"Derpy get off that boy and come over here," said Gregory, Derpy flapped his wings and flew over to Gregory but missed his arms and went crashing into pots and pans. "He seems to be having an off day,"
"GAH! THAT BAT DROLLED ALL OVER MY FACE!" Marcus shouted frantically wiping Derpy's droll off his face.
"Yes, Derpy does that a lot," Gregory said, as he helped Derpy get out of the pots and pans. "I'm pretty sure your friends are worried about you. It's about time we contact them." He then reaches into the drawer and pulls out a piece of paper and pencil. "Can you tell me where your friends are?"
"Uhhh…" Manny scratched his head trying to remember the name of the street. "I can't remember."
"Rosebud Street, the big hotel that's a light color of red," Marcus said getting to his feet. He turned to Manny and shook his head "Come on it wasn't that hard to remember."
"Oh shush,"
"What do your friends look like?" Gregory asked
"One has blue hair and has red goggles on her head, her name's Frida," Manny explained. Manny went on to explain how the others looked with much detail as possible.
"Did you get all of that Winston?" Gregory asked Winston. Winston's ears flicked back and forth twice. "That's good!" Gregory began writing down something on the piece of paper. He then strapped it around Winston's leg. Winston then hopped on Gregory's arm and he carries places Winston next to the window. Winston hops off Gregory's arm and he was off, flapping his wings and taking off to town.
"We could've just went back ourselves," said Marcus
"Yeah you didn't have to send him out," Manny agreed
"That's a not a safe decision boys," Gregory said turning back to the two of them. "You killed Strawberry, their bat. That's one of Elena's pets." He said in a serious tone.
The two boys looked at each other in surprise, and then looked at back at Gregory.
"Did you just say strawberry?" said Manny
"How do you know the name of the bat and the vampire who owned it?" Marcus asked suspiciously.
"I know because I met them…" said Gregory, as he sat down back on the messy sofa "The son is the one who messed up my leg and gave me this limp," he said rubbing his left leg.
"Wait wait Duval has a son?!" said Manny shocked
"Those two girls are Duval's daughters?!" shouted Marcus in shock
"Yes and yes."Gregory said with a nod "More will be explained soon but I rather all your friends be here so I wouldn't have to repeat myself." He said as he stared out the window.
"We need to take care of this before it's too late…"
Elsewhere
The large mansion of the Genesis was filed with the sound of whales from Elena. She was sitting on the couch while her mother, Clara Genesis, was patting her back trying to comfort her. Duval was standing in front of the living room window just staring out at the view.
"STRAWBERRY NOOOOOOOO!" Elena cried into her mother's chest.
"Oh Elena my poor little girl," Clara said softly
Salem was sitting in a chair with his chin rested in the palm of his left hand looking over at his sister annoyed. Salem didn't really care about strawberry or any of the pets that Elena had. This wasn't her first loss either. But even if she's had multiple pets before she would always bawl her eyes out hysterically.
"I'm pretty surprised that they were able to beat it. I heard strawberry use his sonic screech. Those two should have been dead," said Lilith, sitting next to Elena and her mother
"HE WAS SO CUTE AND ADORABLE AND WHAAAAAAAAAAAAA I MISS HIM!" Elena continued to cry.
"She does this ALL the time…" Salem groaned quietly
"Salem! Be more comforting to your sister!" Clara scolded, glaring at her son.
"Tch- oh, whatever," Salem just looked away
"Salem," Duval said in a serious tone "Comfort-your-sister,"
Salem sighs and gets up from the chair and walks over to Elena. Salem lets out a groan and he wraps her arms around her hugging her softly.
"There there sister, everything is going to be ok…" Salem said, his tone sounding not the least be sympathetic.
Elena placed her head against her brother's shoulder and began crying harder. Salem looked down at her with a disgusted look on his face. Salem's black coat was getting ruined by Elena's tears and snot. "Alright, Alright!" he said trying to pry her off.
Elena grabbed a part of Salem's coat and used it as a tissue by blowing her nose into it. Salem let out a shout of disgust and pulled his coat away from Elena. "GRRR YOU COVERED MY GOOD JACKET IN SNOT!" He snarled at Elena.
Elena sniffled "Thanks Bro Bro," she wipes her eyes "That's a nice coat."
"ARGH!" Salem takes the coat off and tosses it on the chair he was sitting in.
"Salem!" said Duval "if the coat is dirty go throw in the washer."
"UGHHH!" Salem yanks the coat off the chair and heads and heads into the washroom.
Lilith looks over at her sister and lets out a small sigh, then gets up from the couch "I'll be right back," She said softly as she went upstairs to her room.
Clara looks over at her husband "Duval do you think that we should start taking this seriously? We're really underestimating these people," She said, still comforting her daughter. "Who knows how out of hand this can get if we just keep sitting on this."
"Hmm…" Duval began cracking his knuckles, thinking carefully on how to handle this situation "You're right dear," he said softly turning to face her "It seems my overconfidence has gotten the best of me finally."
"Oh don't worry about that dear. Your overconfidence is what makes you so charming," Clara smiled at her husband.
Duval smiled at her wife "Why thank you, my love," he said softly "There could also be a chance that those boys have come across that old coot as well. They've probably already plotting against us as we speak. I believe it's time to use something different."
Clara raised a brow "Oh dear, you're finally using them?" She asked curiously
"Might as well," Duval said with a shrug "Lilith did a good job making them with her unique curiosity so, what kind of a dad would I be to not use them?"
Duval opened the window, and he placed his finger in his mouth and whistled loudly. That's when the sound of howling could be heard coming from the distance along with heavy footsteps. Large wide hounds appeared below the window where Duval was standing.
"Dear do you still have that hat he was wearing?" asked Duval
"Yes, I do. I saved it just for this special occasion," Clara said getting up from the couch and walking over to the dresser on the left of the room. She opens the dresser and takes out the hat, holding it between her fingertips. She walks over to where Duval is standing throws the hat down to the hell hounds.
The hell hounds sniffed the hat instantly once it landed down on the ground. The hounds began to growl viciously.
"Find him and tear him apart, and if there is anyone else in there as well tear them apart as well!" Duval ordered
The hell hounds barked and sprinted down the direction where they smell Gregory scent. Duval closed the window and turned around to see Salem coming down the stairs sporting a new coat.
"Ahhh good my boy, you're all dressed up to go out," Duval said happily
Salem looked at his father confused "Go out?"
"To meet your bride," Duval said with a grin
Salem's eyes lit up and a smile grew on his face "OH HELL YEAH!" he said excitedly.
That's when Lilith came back into the living room holding a box in her hand. She walks up to her big sister and says "Here you go Elena," she said softly handing it to her.
"What's this?" Elena said in a downed tone as she looks at the box that had holes in it.
"Just open it," said Lilith sitting on the couch next
Elena opened the box. Her eyes widened and she gasped. Inside the box was a bright yellow bat with thick fur, purple eyes, and long ears. Elena squealed and she takes the bat out of the box and begins cuddling it, placing it against her chest.
"Aww he's so cute the little bat," Clara said with a chuckle.
"OH LILITH, THANK YOU SO MUCH!" Elena cried placing her hand around the back of her neck and kissing Lilith on the cheek multiple times. "YOU'RE THE BEST SISTER IN THE WORLD!"
"Yeah yeah can you just please stop kissing me…" Lilith said with a groan
"How did you do it, Lilith?" Elena asked as she kissed the bat and cuddled her.
"Just like I made the hell hounds, killed them, brought them back and made them, let's say unique," Lilith explained. "I don't practice necromancy for nothing you know."
"So what shall we be naming this one?" Clara asked
Lilith looked over at the bat "Well since I'm the one who made I'm I think I sho—"
"PINEAPPLE!" Elena said with a cheerful goofy smile
"What the-Why do you always name your pets after fru—"
"PINEAPPLE!"
"Ugh…" Lilith just rolls her eyes
Clara just chuckles at Elena's goofiness.
Duval smiled, he turns to his son "Well, let's go get her son. I'm sure she's waiting on you." he said softly
Salem lets out a dark chuckle
"Let's father."
…
"You sure that bat knows how to get to them?" asked Marcus doubtfully
"Winston is not your ordinary bat. He's quite the intelligent one," Gregory reassured, "We are a long way from town after all."
"Just be patient Mark! I'm sure the little guy is guiding the group right to us with no problem at all!" Manny said petting Derpy on his head then scratching his chin "Isn't that right whittle Derpy?" he said in a cutesy tone
Marcus rolls his eyes at Manny being cutesy with Derpy. Derpy's ears perked up and he looked over at the window. Footsteps could be heard coming from outside along with some familiar voices.
"I don't know about this…it could be a trap," said Carmen a little frightened
"If it is we'll be ready for it," said Johnny aggressively
"Yeah, this time we're going to get the jump on those undead jerks!" Ronnie said hitting her fist into her left hand; she was all geared up in her Speed witch outfit.
"Everyone just be on guard," said Ryumaru
"I just hope Manny and Marcus are ok…" Frida said worriedly
As soon as the group walked up to the front door, Manny flings the door open with a smile on his face.
"YOU GUY'S MADE IT—"
"VAMPIRE!" Ronnie screamed as she zips up to Manny and punches him straight in the face knocking him to the ground. Once she realized it was Manny she placed both her hands around her mouth in shock "Ooooh…my bad," she said followed by a nervous chuckle
Both Marcus and Gregory looked down at Manny and then looked over at Ronnie and the group.
"Nice right hook," Gregory complimented
Once everyone was inside, everyone sat down on either the dirty couch and just stood in a corner, which is what Johnny, Carmen, and Frida did. Gregory got a couple of bowls of soup and handed it out to everyone.
"Thank you," said Ryumaru taking the bowl of soup.
"No problem!" Gregory said standing next to the counter
"Mmm, this soup is good!" Ronnie said taking sip after sip
"Yeah this doesn't taste any at all like the store kind!" said Frida with a smile on her face
"My own recipe," Gregory said with a smile. He was glad to know that his food was being complimented
"Here Manny, have some for you boo boo," Frida taunted holding up the spoon to him.
"Oh shut up…" Manny said glaring at her with his left hand on his hurt cheek.
"Daww the little kitty is mad." Frida teased, chuckling and snickering
Ronnie and Carmen giggled at Frida teasing Manny.
"Alright," Marcus said loudly, causing everyone to look at him. "Everyone's here. Are you finally going to start explaining things now? Like how you know so much about the vampire family?"
Everyone turned their attention over to Gregory in shock in curiosity.
"You know about the vampire family?" Ryumaru asked
"That I do," Gregory said putting down his bowl of soup. "I've met the son and the two daughters."
"They have a son?!" Both Carmen and Ronnie said in unison.
"They have two daughters?!" Johnny said excitedly. This caused Johnny to get a couple of glares from Frida and Carmen.
"Uhh yeah…we actually ran into them while we were picking up the food," said Manny
"What were they like?!" Johnny asked hastily
Marcus made some gestures around his chest "Beautiful…" He said softly
"Grrr you lucky punk!" Johnny said ruffling his own hair around
"MUHAHAHA! She even let me bury my face in it!" Marcus said thinking back to the moment and his eyes turned to hearts
"Yeah…and after that, WE ALMOST GO KILLED!" Manny shouted at Marcus
"UGH you two are unbelievable!" Carmen said to Marcus and Johnny annoyed
"I don't get it…" said Ronnie "What's so attractive about big breast…their just lumps of fat to feed babies."
"Exactly," said Frida "It's so stupid!"
"Kids please!" Ryumaru raised his voice. He turned back to Gregory who was laughing a bit himself. Ryumaru sighed "Please continue Mr. Uhh…"
"Oh, right I didn't introduce myself, my apologies on that." Gregory cleared his throat "My name is Gregory Von Dolin. I'm a monster hunter."
"A MONSTER HUNTER?" The kids said all together
Gregory nods "I've been at this job for 34 years, I'm 58 now, killing any monster that threatened either my home town or different towns," He leans off the counter and walks into a room that was in the kitchen. "Follow me."
The group moves from where they were sitting or standing and follow Gregory. They entered a dark room, it was cold and with each step, they took the floors creaked loudly. Suddenly the lights came on, and along with that the shocked expressions of the ground. The whole room was filled with diverse types of weapons. Spears, crossbows, axes, steel long swords, greatswords, different sets of body protection, the list goes on.
"WHOA!" Manny and Frida's eyes lit up.
"LOOK AT ALL THESE WEAPONS!" Carmen said running over to look at the swords.
"Dang…you just about have everything in here…" Johnny said walking around, staring at the crossbows.
"This is all the weapons I've used throughout my monster-hunting career," Gregory said staring body protection armor
"So this is what you used to save me and Manny huh?" Marcus said staring at the 8-foot long harpoon launcher. "You carried that?"
"When I saw those two vampire girls walking the street I knew that I had to carry that…" Gregory said sliding his hand down the harpoon.
"Oh, you still didn't tell us about how you came across those vampires," said Manny, looking over at Gregory "Not to mention...you said you were forced to live here…"
"Right…" Gregory said turning to everyone "It was about 2 months ago. I arrived in Victorian city on lead I got about those bloodsucking monsters. I arrived in town. I asked around about the locals who lived around town, till one person told me about the mayor…Duval. He told me he had his own island, living in a large mansion." Gregory pulled up a chair that was next to his workbench and sat down "I took a boat to their island…and…well…"
[Flashback]
Gregory sailed his small boat through the waters to Duval's personal island. His boat hit land, and he grabs his crossbow and other items that can fight against the vampires and then exit's the boat. Gregory looked up. Up the hill, there was the large mansion that the genesis family lived in. One light was on the top floor, the middle, and the bottom. Gregory thought out his plan carefully. He would silently move around the mansion looking for an entrance to break into, then, he would carefully move around in the mansion going room to room to look for any of the genesis family to take out silently till he got the head vampire that was Duval.
"Right…" Gregory whispered, holding a crossbow in his hand as he moved towards the mansion.
Gregory moved up the hill to the mansion until he got to the front entrance. Gregory placed his ear against the large front door of the mansion to see if he could hear any voices, but not a word could be heard.
"I think you're in the wrong place old man…" said a young, but aggressive voice
Gregory quickly turned around, when he did, everything quickly went dark. After that, he found himself laying on a soft carpet, and staring up at bright chandelier lights.
"Oh look he's waking up!" Elena said excitedly
"Why not just kill him? He's an intruder, after all, father," said Lilith "I see no point in keeping him around."
"Now now Lilith, it's rude to say such cruel things to our guest," Duval said standing in front of Gregory's head and staring down at him "Oh my goodness Salem did you have to hit him so hard?"
"What? Now I can't hit somebody hard? Ugh…" Salem scoffs
"You…you're all…monsters…" Gregory said in a delirious tone
"Well, that's not nice at all," said Clara, sitting on the red couch sipping her wine "Especially when you come to our island armed with all those terrible weapons."
"Agreed," Duval said kneeling down "You know I do find it funny that you brought some of the most clichéd "Vampire killing tools" to try and harm me and family. You do know all those only work in movies right?"
"What are you going to do with me?" Gregory asked staring at Duval
"Would you like something to eat or something to drink?" Duval asked politely
"Don't you make a full out of me you dirty undead scum!" Gregory spat "Whatever you're up to-ARGH!" Gregory cried. Salem had just pierced Gregory in the leg with his hand.
Salem yanks it out, his hand covered in his blood and he begins licking it.
"SALEM!" Duval roared smacking his son in the back of the head
"OW! WHAT?" Salem shouted
"YOU'RE GETTING BLOOD ALL OVER THE FLOOR! WATCH WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"
Salem let in an annoyed growl and he went into the bathroom to wash his hands.
Gregory let out a couple of groans as he held his bleeding leg in pain.
"Oh, Duval he's bleeding all over the floor," Clara said in disgust
"I'll handle it dear don't worry," Duval said grabbing Gregory by the collar of his shirt and picks him up with one hand. "And I'll get Salem to clean this all up."
"WHAT? Oh, come on!" Salem said just coming back from the washroom
"You heard your father," Clara said in a serious tone
Duval walked to the front door and opened it. He walked right outside and took a deep breath.
"Ahh…that wonderful smell of blood, I can't really blame Salem. But for my own well state of mind, I have to keep my composer," Duval said softly
"What are you planning? What are you doing here?" Gregory asked breathlessly
"I have a good long term plan in mind that I'm going to enjoy doing. But…that's none of your business," Duval clenched his teeth, shooting out from his back were large blue wings that flapped only once and he jets right into the air.
Gregory let out a loud shout of fear as they went soaring through the sky. Duval stopped flying. He stared at Gregory and he smirked "This is where the flight ends. I'm sorry that the flight wasn't longer, I heard you shouting with joy as we flew BUT I'm a busy man…so…goodbye."
Duval lets Gregory go and falls to the ground on his side in the forest. Duval had flown all the way back to Main Island in seconds. Gregory looked up, seeing Duval fly back to his private island.
Gregory lay on the ground staring up at the night sky. That's when he closed his eyes…feeling drained and tired.
[End of Flash back]
"I woke up an hour later. My wound wasn't deep thankfully but he hit a nerve that caused me to not walk properly. I went into town and tried to warn everyone about Duval. But that was a foolish move…nobody, of course, believed me at all. At every that cruel son of his Salem would play tricks on me, taunting me, mocking me, that and the daughters made me stay in this place. And that's the story…"
"Those vampire guys are so messed up!" said Manny, scowling
"I don't get it…why didn't they just kill you?" Marcus asked confused
"Because, of Duval's overconfidence," said Gregory "That's his fatal flaw, Duval might think he's careful…but leaving me alive this long and toying with me was their biggest mistake, and with all your help, they'll see why."
"HECK YEAH!" Ronnie said shooting her fist up in the air
"Right, we're going to show those undead punks why they shouldn't mess with us!" Johnny said determinedly
"So what are we going to do? I mean—" But Frida was interrupted by a loud thump that hit the side of Gregory was home. "WHAT WAS THAT?!"
Another loud thump could be heard and the whole house shook. Growling could be heard coming from outside the house. Manny opened the door and looked down the pathway to the living room. A big black bulky red-eyed hellhound that was foaming at the mouth was standing at the doorway to Gregory's home.
"HOLY COW!" Manny screamed
The hellhound turned his attention to where Manny was standing and bolted towards him. Manny had quickly shut the door, the hellhound rammed it's body into the door, almost breaking in.
"Is that a dark beast?!" Frida asked terrified
"NO!" Gregory said quickly as he reached for one of his weapons "That's a hell hound!"
The hell hound had his face almost through the door till Gregory pointed his crossbow at the hellhound and fired. The bolt hits the hound straight in the eye and lets out a loud wine, it moves its head from the door and retreats back into the living room.
Manny spends his belt transforming into El Tigre and opens the door. He stares down the Hellhound with his claws extended. The hellhound was going to charge back into the room but a large paw grabs it by its leg and pulls it outside. Loud whines of pain could be heard from outside Gregory's home, along with the sounds of ripping flesh.
"What the heck?" said Marcus, as he and the other's rushed outside. Then that's when they saw them, Roz, Luana, Kiera, and Okami outside fighting against the hellhounds. It was such a one-sided fight, Roz had the hellhound snout by his hands and he was slamming them against a tree. Luana was clawing at the second hellhound so fast that none of the group could see her attacks, but they could see the flesh get ripped off the hell hounds body. Both Kiera and Okami were double-teaming the last hellhound. Okami opened his mouth and clenched his razor-sharp teeth on the hellhound's neck, sling him around and tosses him into the air, Kiera zips into the air and, opens her mouth and with one bite she rips the head off the hellhound. The body of the hellhound fell to the ground with a thump.
"Well, that takes care of them," said Luana dusting her hands off, she looks over at the group "You guys ok?"
"That. was. Crazy." said Frida staring at them
"You can say that again…" Manny said nodding
"We smelled those dirty hellhound's miles away thinking they were coming here. But when found out they were heading in a different direction we followed them, thank god we made the right choice," said Roz
"Thank you, all of you," Ryumaru said to them sincerely
Okami walked up to Manny with his ears lowered. He scratches the back of his head and sighs "Uhh…Manny…Marcus…I'm sorry for uhh…trying to…well you know…I wasn't thinking clearly and it was wrong of me to do that…" he said staring at Manny
"Hey, it's no problem at all man. You've been through a lot and I understand." Manny said with a smile on his face "Don't sweat it."
Okami returned the smile, his tail wagged and his ears went up happily.
"Dawww he's so cute!" Ronnie said walking over to Okami and petting his
"Hey quit tha-ooooh…" Okami moving his head around so Ronnie could pet him more.
"HEY, I WANNA BE PET TOO!" Kiera said with a frown
"Ugh…" Roz said rubbing his head "I thought they grew out of that…" he said softly
Luana giggled "I guess I did baby them too much when they were cubs." She said watching as Carmen and Frida were petting Kiera on her stomach and head.
"Ahh…this could work," said Gregory staring at them "Yes…with all of us together…we can stand a chance."
"What's that you're talking about?" said Roz looking over at Gregory
"We're planning on attacking Duval's mansion…it was just going to be us and these hero's from Miracle city. But…"
Roz grinned showing his razor-sharp teeth "Say no more…I already know where you're going with this. It's a yes." He turns to Luana "You in love?"
Luana let out a dark chuckle "After what they put us through, it's time for them to understand what true pain is…"
"DAD!" Okami said quickly walking over to him "You have to let me join in on this! YOU HAVE TO!"
"SAME!" Kiera said nodding
"Kids this is way too dangerous." Said Luana shaking her head
"Wait, Luana," said Roz, he turns to Okami "Okami, is this something you want to do? You do realize that when we're up there we'll be fighting for our lives right?"
"We won't be fighting for our lives…we're going to be fighting for our pack…" Okami said staring up at his father.
Roz smiled "That's my boy…"
"ALRIGHT!" Ronnie said hopping up and down "WE'RE GOING TO BEAT THE HECK OUT OF THOSE VAMPIRES!"
"YEAH LET'S GO NOW!" Manny said with a smirk on his face
"Wait wait wait," Gregory said holding his hand up to Manny "We can't just go running up to them. We need to prepare." Gregory said heading back into his home. "We need to be ready…they already know of the hellhounds deaths. We need to be heavily prepared and make a strategy."
"This will not be an easy task…" said Gregory
…
"Oh, dear…" said Thomas wiping his head with a napkin "Oh no…oh no…"
A knock was heard on the door. Thomas froze and his heart began to beat quickly. Thomas turned around and faced the door. He stared at the door for a moment. Someone knocked on the door again.
"Father, aren't you going to answer the door?" Amanda said coming down the stairs.
"No-Amanda…wait…" Thomas said quietly
Amanda walked to the door and opened it, and there the two of them stood, Duval and Salem.
"Mayor Genesis, what brings you here?" Amanda asked curiously. She then looks at Salem "Who's this?"
"Hello Amanda, this is my son Salem," Duval said placing his hand on his son's shoulder. "This…will be your husband."
Amanda blinked a few times "W-What?" she stuttered
"Isn't that right Thomas?" Duval said looking over at him.
Amanda turned around to face her father. Thomas was breathing heavily and beads of sweat came pouring down his face.
"I don't understand what's going?!" Amanda turned back to Duval and Salem. When she stared Salem right in the eyes, she began to feel dizzy, tired, the whole room began spinning till she fell over into Salem's arms.
"Awww she must have passed out to the happiness," Duval said with a chuckle. He turned to Thomas "Looks like you will have more power in the world of politics after all Thomas. Thank for doing business." The two of them turned away and walked back to their limo, and then just like that. They were gone.
Thomas dropped to his knees and began bawling his eyes out. He bangs his hands on the floor and lets out a painful scream.
"Oh god, …what have I done? Oh god…Amanda…"
