A/N You know I do wonder if I give too much favoritism towards our wonderful vampire family. I read over the beginning of the arc and I just feel that way. But I do focus on the important information of the werewolf tribe, I think. I'm not really sure.
El Tigre the new Adventures Season 2 Episode 59 – Battle on Genesis Island Part 2
Carmen tore through the undead with her double-bladed staff till finally, she reached Lilith. Carmen let out a battle cry and swung her bladed-staff at Lilith. Lilith had conjured up a spear that surrounded her body, and when Carmen's staff collided it made a clanging sound and bounced off the spear and she was sent flying back and fell to the ground. Zombies began to surround Carmen, but Kiera hopped in and slashed their heads apart.
"T-Thanks!" said Carmen getting to her feet.
"No problem!" Kiera nodded. Kiera looked up and her eyes widened "LOOK OUT!"
Carmen looked up and saw a light purple orb coming her way. Carmen and Kiera hopped out of the way and the light purple orb hits the ground. The orb swirled and tore against the grass denigrating it. Lilith began launching her next couple of attacks. She conjured more light purple energy orbs that were shaped like skulls, screamed and howled floating around her.
"Would you like to feel the agony of the suffering souls of the underworld?" asked Lilith, darkly.
"Um no but thanks for the offer!" said Carmen, quickly.
Lilith launched the skull like orbs at Carmen. Then Carmen spun her double-bladed staff countering as many of the skulls as she could. Kiera was hopping from one spot to another as the light purple orbed skull hit the ground. Lilith had conjured up one large ball of light purple energy and hurdles it at the two of them.
"Look at for the big one!" Kiera warned.
As the large ball of light purple energy, it broke apart into small basketball-sized balls of energy that rushed towards Carmen and Kiera.
"KIERA GET BEHIND ME!" Carmen said at the top of her lungs. Kiera went over to Carmen and stood behind her. Carmen stabbed her double-bladed staff to the ground and it morphed, transforming into a giant silver shield. The basked ball sized energy hit the silver shield putting dents in it. All of them collided until there was no more.
"Interesting," said Lilith staring, at her shield. "A silver pole that can morph into any weapon. I'm intrigued."
Carmen chuckles "You should've seen my expression when I got it,"
Then from beneath both of their feet, the ground lit up, and a shockwave burst from the ground knocking Carmen and Kiera up into the air. Lilith conjured up this light glowing spear and fires it at Carmen. Carmen held up her shield and spear hits it. The spear began to vibrate, then it explodes sending Carmen flying back and colliding against a tree.
Kiera rushes over to Lilith's blindside. She lunged forward, but Lilith stepped back and Kiera fell forward missing. Lilith shuts her book, raises it up and smacked Kiera on the back of the head with it and kicks her in the stomach sending her flying back, rolling on the ground.
Ronnie was having just as much trouble dealing with Elena. Every attack that Ronnie was throwing at Elena with her quick speed Elena was just avoiding and blocking it all. Ronnie was throwing rapid punches at Elena, and Elena was just quickly moving from left to right, left to right dodging each attack.
"Come on green girl, can't you hit me?" Elena taunted.
"SHUT UP!" screamed Ronnie, as she relentlessly kept attacking.
Elena giggled and she caught Ronnie's left hand. Ronnie throw's a quick jab with her right hand. Elena moves her head to the left and then she headbutts Ronnie straight in the face. Elena still had a grip on Ronnie's right hand, then she pulls her forward with a knee to the gut causing Ronnie to cough up spit. Elena then lets go of Ronnie's left hand then backhands her in the face causing her to fly back.
"You have some good fight in you-umm…GREEN APPLE!" Elena said with a grin. "I'll call you a green apple from now on!"
"There you go again naming things after food…" said Lilith rolling her eyes.
"Because they're tasty!" Elena said, she then sticks her tongue out at her sister. Elena turns around to see Astrid, who had been sitting in the backlines watching them fight. "So you're just going to watch then?"
"I don't see any reason to dirty my hands when you two are fighting," said Astrid
"Oh well more fun for us then," Elena shrugs.
"Darn it…" Ronnie coughs and holds her stomach.
Ryumaru, Gregory and Frida were holding back the undead from their side. Frida was slashing the zombies with the hunter's knife she got from Gregory, and Luana was tearing them apart. But even if they kept fighting, Lilith still had control over the amount of undead that she was bringing back and shows no end in sight.
"What are we going to do?" Carmen said, wincing as she gets to her feet. "I can even get close to her because of her stupid magic…"
Strategies with no certainty were going through her head. She didn't know If anything could work. If she used the adrenaline rush ability that she used on barton she'd be out of commission due to the side effects. Then, something came to her.
"Hey, Carmen, Kiera, I got an idea!" Ronnie said getting to her feet.
"Huh?" said Carmen, as she and Kiera were looking at Ronnie.
Ronnie's body began to vibrate. Then, a clone of he appeared. Both Carmen and Kiera's jaw dropped. Elena and Lilith looked at the two of Ronnie's curiously. Then another appeared, then another and then another. There were now four of Ronnie's standing there in front of Lilith and Elena.
"Well…what a turn of events," said Astrid
"First, we have to deal with this undead," Ronnie thought. She and the rest of her clones all dashed towards Lilith. Lilith saw this coming and quickly placed up her barrier. "TRIPLE CYCLONE PUNCH!" roared the clones.
They all punched the barrier as hard as they could. The barrier had cracks in four different places.
"Impossible!" Lilith gasped
"Now it's my turn!" said Carmen, her silver pole morphed into a chain with a wide sharp arrowhead in the end. She spun it around in the air and then lunges it at Lilith, and the chain spear pierces through the spear barrier Lilith made, hoping it would hit Lilith's book. But, the chain spear had missed the book. But that's where Kiera comes in, again from Lilith's blind spot. She opens her mouth and snatches the book out of her hand.
"NO!" Lilith cried.
Kiera was tearing apart the book with and tearing out each and every one of the pages. Once that was done, the undead that Ryumaru, Frida and Luana were fighting let out a sharp cry and all turned to dust.
"Nice job guys!" Frida cheered.
"Oh thank goodness…I was getting sick of fighting those dumb zombies," said Luana
"Excellent teamwork as always," Ryumaru complimented.
"Wow," Elena said in disbelief "Lilith what in the-" But Elena was cut off by getting punched straight in the face and was sent flying, colliding straight into Lilith, sending them into a tree.
"GOTCHA!" said Ronnie, with a big grin across her face. Her clones had disappeared and Kiera let a cheerful shout.
"Oww…" Elena said rubbing her cheek "Jeez I didn't know her punches could be so hard!"
Lilith sighed and she gets to her feet along with Elena. "Well, it seems as though they got the best of us in that one sister,"
"It seems so," Lilith responded. "Maybe now it's time for us to actually try this time?"
"I agree sister," said Elena, her tone was suddenly deeper. Her cheerful goofy deminer had left her. Her expression turned from a smile to a threatening look, and so did was Lilith's.
Astrid adjusted his glasses "About time they started getting serious," he said In a satisfied tone.
The atmosphere around the area had changed. It felt heavier, and the group felt this pressure on their chest.
"What the heck is this feeling?" said Frida, clutching her chest with her left hand.
"Everyone…do not let your guard down…" Ryumaru said to everyone.
…
"Now…" said Salem, slowly "Shall we begin the next round bird boy?"
"Bring it," Johnny responded casting a glare.
Salem stepped forward and disappears. Johnny had placed up his phoenix wings, and Salem had appeared on Johnny's right side and swung his large Axe. The impact was even too great for Johnny's wings and the Axe breaks through it sending Johnny flying. Salem ran after Johnny's hurdling body, pulls back his arm and punches Johnny straight in the face making his body bounce off the ground and causing his body to do a backflip. Salem kicks Johnny right in the stomach sending him hurdling into a tree. Salem grips his Axe and raises it high, but as he brings down the Axe near Johnny. But Johnny quickly rolls out of the way, use's his right hand to push himself off the ground and delivers a strong roundhouse kick onto the back of Salem's head. But that kick barely fazed him and he swings his Axe at Johnny while was in the air. Johnny used his wings to push himself back, the Axe making a shall cut across Johnny's stomach.
"COME BACK HERE SO I CAN DRAIN YOUR BLOOD!" Salem screamed as he rushed towards Johnny grinning from ear to ear.
"This guy is getting on my nerves!" said Johnny irritably. Johnny had made a trail of fire that traveled over to Salem.
Johnny disappeared into the fire and reappeared on Salem's left side. Johnny kicks Salem in his right knee causing him to collapse to the ground.
"ARGH YOU BASTARD!" Salem shouted.
Johnny hops into the air, does a triple front flip and lands with both of his feet stamping down onto Salem's head. Johnny hops into the air and comes down on Salem's head three of more times before he spreads his blue flaming wings and circles around the spot where Salem was lying. Johnny kept going around, and around and around till a circle of fire was beginning to spread across Salem's body. Then, Johnny fly's into the air and hovers over the circle of blue fire.
"Pheonix," Johnny began as he plunged down towards the circle of fire. "DOWNFALL!"
Johnny crashed into the circle of fire, causing a great deal of fire to burst around the area. The fire that circled around the spot that Johnny landed into began to quickly die out. Johnny emerged from the flames and gets to his feet slowly. He turned around to look at where Salem was lying.
"That had to work," said Johnny, in his head. "No way he survived that…vampire or not."
Then, a hand had appeared from out of the creator where Salem was. This sent stomach curdling shock to Johnny. Salem slowly raised himself from out of the creator with burns of his flames that were quickly going away.
"Oh come on…" said Johnny, clenching his fist "How did that not finish you off?!"
"Oh give me a break…" said Salem, as his injuries he sustained from "If I were anyone else that probably would've put me down, for good even."
Johnny clenched his teeth and glares at Salem.
"Well, is that all you can throw at me bird boy?" asked Salem.
Johnny didn't respond, all he did was just glare at Salem, trying to think of something, anything he could think off to throw at Salem.
"Good," said Salem, licking his lips. Then, his eyes glowed yellow. His face seemed to be pulling back and his ears began to grow long. His skin went from being a shade of pale to a shade of black, his hair grew longer and wilder, He grew taller, sharp teeth growing longer, arms and legs grew buffer. "Now, It's my turn to have my fun," He said in a deep tone.
"Oh…my…god…" Johnny said, staring at Johnny's true vampire form in terror.
"Ready bird boy? Just so you know," Salem said licking his lips with his now abnormally long tongue.
"I usually play with my food before eating them…"
…
"Well," said Duval, as he stood in the middle of the room staring at Manny, Marcus, Okami, and Roz. "Who shall test me first?"
Manny had a bit of sweat trickling down his cheek. Marcus had his hand gripped around his new silver blade. Okami and Roz were growling with anger staring down Duval.
"Damn," said Marcus, in his head. "He's just standing there so nonchalantly, but I can't even see an opening."
"Don't worry," said Duval calmly "Take your time on your strategy, I can wait."
"Such a gentleman my husband," said Clara with a dreamy smile.
"So cocky…" Manny said through his teeth. He turns to look at Marcus "Mark, you usually have a battle plan, so what is it?"
Marcus wasn't even sure himself. He was trying to come up with one. But it felt as though whatever he came up with would just be countered. This was frustrating Marcus greatly, he had always had something to work with but as of right now he was drawing blanks.
But then, Okami let's out a roar, grabs a nearby table and runs forward at Duval.
"I liked that table," said Duval "Out of all the tables…"
Then, without even thinking the group ran forward, each going in their own separate directions. Everything seemed to happen so quickly. Okami raises the table over his head and swings it downward to Duval, breaking the table over his head. But that didn't even make him flinch. Roz was on the right side of Duval and he slashed at Duval with his long sharp claws. Duval simply stepped back, grabbed Roz's wrist and flipped him flat on his back with a thud. Duval held out his hand in front of Okami and was suddenly sent flying back across the room and slammed against the metal door. Manny was above Duval, and Marcus was on Duval's left. Marcus whipped out his new silver sword and he swings at Duval quickly, aiming for his neck. But the sword seemed to just go through him. Marcus had no time to react, as Duval had moved quickly enough for him to appear behind Marcus and he had his hand around the back of Marcus's head and he sling's him headfirst into the wall.
"RIVERA TIGER," Manny began, readying his grappling hook.
But before Manny could finish Duval had appeared behind Manny, raised his arm and whacked him in the back of the head knocking him to the ground. Duval lands back on the ground gently and rubs his hair back.
Clara blinked a couple of times "Oh," she said surprised "And here I thought you got rusty…"
"W-What the heck?" Okami said looking forward at Duval.
"Wait…what just happened?" asked Manny rubbing the back of his head.
"I knew Vampire's speed was great but damn it…" said Roz slowly lying up.
"The only unpredictable thing that happened with that exchange was my loss of perfectly good table," said Duval "But as for the rest, it's going to take more than just ganging up on me from different directions."
Clara was just clapping her hands, applauding her husband.
"Yeah just keep talking all of that trash!" spat Manny "You're going to be eating those words soon enough jerk!"
"Maybe so," said Duval, turning to face Manny. "But as of now—ARGH!"
Duval let out a groan of pain when Marcus had hit him with fire fist straight in the back.
"YOU TALK TOO MUCH YOU VAMPIRIC BASTARD!" Marcus roared, forcing Duval to the ground.
Marcus followed up by jumping into the air with his silver sword and attempts to pierce Duval through his chest. Then Duval disappeared leaving behind a red dust. Marcus lands on the spot where Duval was and the red dust lingers around him. The dust began to wrap around Marcus's body and suddenly restrained tightly, causing him to drop his silver sword.
"Caught me off guard I'll give you that," said Duval's echoing voice.
Marcus was sent into the air and crashing into the ceiling and then forced back down to the ground. Marcus was lifted up, and Duval reappeared in front of him with his usual confident smile.
"You know you ruined my suit?" said Duval
"I'd look better in it," replied Marcus
Duval punched Marcus straight in the face sending him flying across the room and slamming into shelf that held glass cups and wine.
"Oh, Duval why on earth?" Clara said sadly.
"This was a bad place to choose to fight…" said Duval rubbing his head. He then took off his suit and the undershirt along with it. Duval had an impressively built physic. "Well, would anyone else like to try?"
Roz stepped up. He glared down Duval and walked up to him. "You're far too confident Duval," he told him in a serious tone.
"Am I? my apologies," Duval said sincerely.
Suddenly the two of them exchanged blows, both landing a strong powerful punch into each other's faces. Roz used his speed to quickly get behind Duval, wrapped his arms around his waist and gives him a back suplex. Duval's whole upper body went through the floor. Okami ran forward and leaped over his father. He bawls his fist and punched Duval in the face sending him deeper into the floor.
Manny followed up, charging up both of his grappling hooks "RIVER TIGER BOOZOKA!" he roared getting a direct hit, sending him completely going through his floor.
"NOT SO CONFIDENT NOW ARE YOU?" Okami shouted down into the hole.
Marcus was getting to his feet and rubbing his cheek "Damn that nearly knocked me unconscious…" he groaned
"My my," said Duval's echoing voice. "I think I felt some of that."
Suddenly a whirlpool of red and blue energy was beneath their feet. Large spikes burst from the ground and one tried to stab Roz. But he was quick enough to grab and Okami and hop out of the way. An open mouth with teeth tried to suck up Manny, but Manny shoots his grappling hook into the ceiling and retracts, avoiding the mouth that almost ate him.
"WHAT THE HECK?" said Manny in a fearful tone.
Duval appeared from the violet whirlpool of energy. His eyes were glowing yellow and he lets out a dark laugh.
"Well, I guess I had enough fun. This can't go on forever sadly," said Duval grinning from ear to ear.
Each battle has hit a new high point. How will our hero's win this horrific fight?
