Set after episode 3

"If you don't complete this last exercise, you won't get any lunch!" Lloyd told his students from his spot under a tree!

Sora huffed and puffed "No way! You can't take our lunch!"

"Sora stay focused, we're almost done!" Arin nudged her.

"30 seconds. Let's see if you'll make it."

It was another day of training with the ninja trainees. Instead of training on the obstacle course, Lloyd decided to take his students on a field trip. By field trip Lloyd meant down the mountain, so it wasn't a field trip. He made them exercise all morning until noon.

"And time! Congratulations, you managed to finish the training!"

"Can we eat lunch now?" Sora said, taking off her headphones and wiping off the sweat.

"Of course, but just so you know I was never going to take away your lunch." he gave them a smirk.

"Why am I not surprised?" The group sat down and ate sandwiches Lloyd packed for them.

"Hey Lloyd, where's Riyu?" Arin asked.

"I don't know, he ran off to play early in the morning. I haven't seen him since."

Little did they know what extreme and terrible dangers they would soon face!

"Baaaaaa!" bleated a creature. The group looked over to see a sheep frolicking around them.

"Is that a sheep?" Arin asked again.

"Yes, but I've never seen one in person before. What's a sheep doing all the way out here?" Lloyd stood up confused.

"Baaa!" another sheep came running. "Baaaa!" and another one. "Baaaaa!" another one from behind. "Baaaa!" another one! "Baaa!" Soon the ninja were surrounded by a horde of sheep.

"So many sheeeeeep!" Sora excitedly began petting as many sheep as she could.

"Me Me Me! I want to pet some sheep!" Arin found a smaller bunch of sheep and started petting them as well. They licked his face in response. "Aw, you guys are my friends too."

Lloyd was skeptical of the sheep. He didn't know how Arin and Sora were so comfortable with the sheep. "Ow!" Lloyd yelped in the pain. He looked back to see the culprit. A sheep. "That sheep bit me!"

"He must think you're a piece of grass!" Sora pointed out.

"I'm walking and I'm talking. How can it think I'm a piece of grass?!" he said angrily.

"You are the legendary green ninja!" Arin also pointed out.

They two laughed while Lloyd just huffed. Then one of the sheep took Sora's headphones from where she was sitting. "Hey, give that back!" Sora tried to get the headphones but was blocked by the sheep.

"Help! I'm drowning in fluff!" You could barely see the top of Arin from the crowd of fluff.

"Okay, this is enough madness!" Lloyd hopped from sheep to sheep pulling his students out of the horde. "Thank you I was about to suffocate!" Arin wheezed.

"Bark Bark!" " Rawr!" Arin noticed Riyu playing with a dog. "Riyu come here!" he called the dragon over. Riyu came running over along with the dog. Riyu came running over along with the dog. Riyu came up to Arin, and the dog started licking Arin's face. "More animals?" Lloyd groaned.

"Hey Riyu who's your new friend, buddy?" Arin looked at the dog's collar. "Gumby?" the dog barked in response. "Gumby it is then!" While petting Gumby Arin realized something. "I think Gumby is a sheepdog!"

"A what?" "A sheep dog. A dog who herds sheeps. I think Gumby here was herding sheep until Riyu came along, and distracted her."

"Thanks a lot Riyu!" Sora said sarcastically. Riyu just licked her face innocently, followed by Gumby. "So we just need Gumby here to herd all the sheep." "Yeah I think so." Arin picked up Riyu and somehow Gumby immediately got to work. She began barking and herding the sheep and in a matter of minutes Gumby had gotten the sheep moving.

"Wow, Humby managed to herd up all the sheep!" Lloyd said happily. "Ow!" Why you little!" the same sheep that bit Lloyd bit him again.

"Looks like she missed one." Sora said sheepishly (pun not intended).

"Oh my swirls! Gumby!" a young man came running. Gumby raced towards the man, and licked his face.

"Hi, are you Gumby and the sheep's owner?" Arin asked.

"Howdy fellas! Thank you kindly for finding my dear Gumby and sheep. They skedaddled after I decided to take a nap." the farmer laughed.

"Happy to help. That's what ninja do!" Arin said proudly.

"Alright time to head home Gumby." Riyu jumped out of Arin's arms to say goodbye. "Looks like you made a new friend, girl. Say goodbye now!" Gumby barked goodbye to Riyu.

The two walked back from wherever they came from. "Rowr" Riyu growled sadly.

"Aww don't worry Riyu, maybe we'll see them again someday." Arin comforted the dragon.

"Bark Bark!" The group looked back to see Gumby holding something in her mouth. "That was quick." Lloyd joked.

"Eww those are my headphones." Sora took her now slobbery headphones from Gumby. "Thanks I guess."

The ninja said goodbye to the farmer and Gumby and headed back up the mountain.

"I'm glad the sheep weren't man eating sheep." Lloyd said nonchalantly." I hope we all learned something today.

"Never trust a sheep!" Arin and Sora guessed together. "Bingo."

Arin and Sora had fun with the sheep today, but Lloyd didn't. Now whenever someone tells him to count sheep, he gets insomnia instead. Just another day of trauma for Lloyd.

I was coming up with an outline for this oneshot. However I was struggling to come up with an interesting conflict for over a month hence writer's block. Then two of my friends were playing Minecraft survival because we had a sub yesterday, and they mentioned sheep, and it just clicked. "Man eating sheep'' was from one of my friends, and Gumby and the farmer are based on my other friend, who apparently likes Yokai Watch so the farmer is also a reference to Komasan using his signature "OH MY SWIRLS!" so credits to Yokai Watch! Ideas come at the most random times.
