Hello!

I've been working on Heart of a Demon for so long now that I thought I would try a few other stories that I've had rattling around in my head for a while. This will be another Iruma-kun/Bleach crossover. Fem Ichigo Kurosaki story.

BTW I laugh at those of you who complain about Ichigo being a girl in my fics. Your complaints sustain me. ;)

Enjoy ya'll!

To put it bluntly, Ichigo Kurosaki, part human, part Hollow, part Quincy and part Soul Reaper- had become a God.

Now, take a moment to wrap you're head around that. Especially since it was still pretty unbelievable even to them.

Granted, it wasn't something that she had wanted originally, or even considered in any capacity whatsoever. But with the death of the Soul King, the original God of creation- and the unravelling of all things in existence... poor Ichigo hadn't felt that she had much of a choice but to take up the position since there was no one left alive in the heavenly palace that was currently strong enough to put a stop the unravelling of creation.

She had been terrified that she would fail given the fact that she was pretty injured at the time and had lost more blood than an ordinary human should have been able to survive.

Her amber eyes the only bit of color in her already too pale face. But the fact that she had just seen several of her friends and comrades literally fall into piles of dust in front of her eyes had obviously terrified her far more than taking possession of the divine throne ever could.

It probably hadn't occurred to her at the time that anyone unworthy of being the Soul King and trying to take the throne would likely kill her and them too. But then again, maybe it had.

Rukia, and Renji, had both decided to stay with her, and escort her as far as the divine palace's security measures would allow. And they did. Despite the fact that they were each filled with such crippling desperation and fear. Despite the fact that the palace was trying to eject them so that only Ichigo would remain, alone.

Even despite the fact that Renji had been the first of them to turn into dust during their final mission at Ichigo's side. The fate of all beings alive and dead hung in the balance, and Ichigo was so grimly determined to pull off one last miracle.

The greatest miracle of all, in Rukia's opinion.

Upon reaching the final gate, Ichigo had straightened her spine, smiled and walked away from Rukia's side, only pausing briefly only to look back at her friend and thank her for everything.

Rukia had understood that it was Ichigo's way of voicing her gratefulness for everything that she had done for her over the years, as well as telling her goodbye, just in case.

And despite the sudden burn of tears prickling at her eyes, the Soul Reaper had smiled at her wonderful, and amazing friend and simply told her that she believed in her and would be waiting for her outside the gate when she finished.

After all, she had faith that if anyone could stabilize and return balance to all of creation and save them...it would be Ichigo.

Because that was simply what she did whether the girl realized it or not.

But she wasn't going to blame her friend if she failed.

After all, Rukia had lived a good life. She had met her brother and made so many friends and met so many amazing people that even if all of creation was wiped out and they all died- they would each be in good company. So, she had no complaints.

Ichigo had nodded her head at her and then vanished beyond the gate and didn't return for what felt like years.

But in actuality, Rukia had only had to wait for an hour or two before Ichigo returned, stumbling down the stairs a bit before finally collapsing into her concerned friend's arms as several others gradually began to appear before them both.

A newly reformed and alive Renji was the first to show up. And wasted no time at all in running over to them both and checking on them. While a blood spattered and heavily breathing Shunsui Kyōraku, Byakuya, Soi Fon, Chad, Yoruichi, Orihime, Uryu, and Kisuke appeared out of nowhere.

"What happened here?" Someone demanded in an authoritative tone as Kisuke and Yoruichi both made their way over to Rukia, Renji, and Ichigo and quickly assessed the situation while Rukia took a moment to fill them all in.

"All of creation was unravelling, so Ichigo seized the throne of the Soul King to stabilize and return everything to normal." Rukia said as she tightened her arms around her friend while taking note of the various Holy Shit expressions that graced everyone's faces.

Weirdly enough, Uryu burst out laughing hysterically while Orihime simply bit her lip in an effort to stifle her own giggles.

Their reaction was understandable, Rukia supposed. After all, it was one thing for Ichigo to be the heaviest hitter that they had during times of conflict and war- but becoming their God... No- scratch that.

Their new ruler.

It was mind blowing at best. And frightfully terrifying at worst given Ichigo's usual temperament.

Yet even so, all of them shared a look of fond exasperation for the girl. After all, only Ichigo could manage something so damned unbelievable. They took another second or so for this information to really set in before finally busting out laughing.

Ichigo had gone and done something so utterly insane that it would become the stuff of legends within the Soul Society for eons to come!

Unlike other Soul Kings, Ichigo had flat out refused to live in Soul Society. Though she had made certain concessions about her new position in life- like allowing some people to be chosen as her royal guards- she refused to let anything or anyone else to impede her life as a 'human'.

And anytime Kyoraku tried to reason with her- that the human world wasn't safe, my liege- he risked his neck, and he knew it. So, the guy simply stopped arguing with her. At least until something happened anyways.

Which allowed Ichigo to live her life as normally as possible for a former human being and brings us to the current situation.

After becoming the Soul King Ichigo had been warned that her existence in the human world may very well be over because she could affect things on a cosmic level, but she hadn't listened because she was stubborn. And now...now she was staring at her dad, who had just blurted out that he was part demon during dinner.

Stunning not only her. But Rukia, Chad, and both of her sisters into utter silence for several heartbeats before one of them, Karin from the sound of it, finally sputtered out, "Y-You're a demon?!"

"I am." Her dad said with a curt nod of his head as his dark eyes met Ichigo's and held. Indicating that he was actually talking to her instead of randomly blurting shit out for funsies. "It's been a few years since the war happened and you need to know about that side of my family, because of the inheritance you are likely to receive since your about to turn twenty-six."

Ichigo just blinked in reaction to her dad's words.

After all, she was part Hollow and Soul Reaper so it wasn't terribly beyond the realm of possibility that her old man was part demon. And it didn't really surprise her all that much either given the fact that she'd always theorized that her dad was a demon to begin with.

The man was just...freaky. She didn't know how else to put it or to explain in what way he was freaky- he just was. At least her paranoia had been for a good reason. Yay her!

"What inheritance?" Yuzu asked, taking the subtle bait that her dad had been waiting on her to take.

"Well, the inheritance can consist of anything ranging from a noble title in the Netherworld, to gold and jewels, or even being adopted as someone else's child/kin and then hauled off to live there."

"Huh?" Ichigo said unintelligibly around her bite of her dinner. Her mind barely registering anything that her dad had just said to her. But to be fair being the Soul King tended to make her beyond ravenously hungry because she needed to convert the extra food that she consumed into energy and today's dinner was her favorite food, curry. So, she had stopped listening after her dad had blurted out his family lineage so that she could focus on her food.

Ichigo's dad gave her a 'are you kidding me' look that was usually reserved for Karin's acts of malicious compliance when she was being punished for fighting or vandalism. Earning a slightly uncomfortable looking grin from her while her dad stared at her. Hard.

Causing her to bow her head and looked more regretful than she had in a good long while as she mentally lamented not being able to eat her damned food in peace.

"Daddy, stop bullying Ichigo. She outranks you now and can literally get away with your murder." Yuzu said, causing her dad to do a weird twitch in his seat but then bowed his head, sufficiently chastised. For now.

Which gave Ichigo the opportunity that she needed to inhale her meal and ask for seconds before another word could be said. She managed to eat at least four helpings of food before her dad finally spoke up again.

"Your birthday is in three days... And I just wanted you to know that my demon kin will likely show up to finally meet you. So, please don't go setting anything on fire or zapping anyone with those new abilities of yours."

"I won't." Ichigo said with a frown as she finally pushed her dishes away from her and sat back in her seat to study her dad. He looked a bit stressed to her, his face a bit pale, and he also had dark circles under his eyes too. But then he was a doctor, which was stressful enough. However, that plus coming out as a demon to your family and others could really mess with a person.

"Hey, dad, are you feeling alright?" She asked, her tone laced with worry.

"I'm fine, Ichigo. I'm just...a bit freaked out about my relative coming here. Especially since I'm not sure what to expect from them." He replied.

"Yeah, we figured that much." Karin said as she rested her elbow on the table and propped her cheek in her open palm. "But I'm sure that everything will be fine since they're coming here."

"We'll have the home turf advantage if it comes down to it!" Yuzu said, sounding as if she had been watching war movies again. Ichigo sighed at her siblings before saying firmly,

"No one is going to need the home turf advantage Yuzu. No one is going to be fighting. I expect everyone to be on their best behavior. Am I understood?"

"Yes." The twins chirped.

Causing Rukia to finally chime in with a giggle from her seat. While Chad simply pushed his own plate away with a muttered 'thanks' to Yuzu and then said loudly, "Group meeting."

"I'll call Orihime!" Rukia said before whipping out her cell and speed dialing their friend's number.

Ichigo grunted as she pushed her seat back a bit so that she could stand as she said. "I'll go and call Uryu."

A short time later, Ichigo found herself sitting in a lounge chair with Rukia and Chad in position on both sides of her. Like proper guards. Staring at the staggering number of people sitting in her family's very cramped little living room and wishing that she was anywhere else but there.

"Before we start this little get together, can someone please explain to me how several of the Captain's of the Thirteen Court-Guard Squads knew to show up?"

"That would be my fault!" Yoruichi said without a hint of remorse as she crossed her arms over her chest and preened. "I was hanging out with Soi-Fon when I got the call that there was a meeting. So, I grabbed everyone available."

"I see." Ichigo muttered, already secretly plotting to send the woman of kitty cat hell the next time she changed into a cat. "Alright, let's get this meeting started-"

She had no sooner started to speak than a hand shot up into the air. Pausing to glare at the person, she couldn't help but wonder what Rangiku wanted.

"You haven't taken roll call yet, Ichigo!" Rangiku said, sounding a bit put out.

"Shut it, this is a meeting with our King. Not another day at school." Toshiro snapped at the buxom woman to his left before then gentling his tone to urge. "Go on Ichigo. We're listening."

"Right, well, it's like this. Dad has come out as part demon and has said that his demon relative will be coming by on my birthday to meet me."

"And." Chad prompted as he laid a large hand on one of her shoulders.

Ichigo rolled her eyes in exasperation. "And there was also the mention of an inheritance of some kind. But I'm not entirely sure what I could be inheriting."

There was a murmur from everyone present and Ichigo was about to get up out of her seat and walk off, content to simply leave things at that. But...

Chad had turned into a terrible snitch since the war. Not only that but his hand was still on her shoulder, which prevented her from getting up as he suddenly said, "What Ichigo meant to tell you was that the inheritance can consist of anything ranging from a noble title in the Netherworld, to gold and jewels, or even being adopted as someone else's child/kin and then hauled off to live Netherworld with said demon."

There was a heartbeat of silence, which Ichigo used to cover her ears before all hell broke loose.
