As Perceptor studied the machine, Aquaformer woke in her quarters. She wasn't sure what woke her as she heard not a peep out of the sparklings. She stretched out, sighing as she did so. She looked over to where she had set the tiny Optimus, well, tiny compared to her now. She still couldn't believe that he was this small, but that didn't diminish the hurt she felt from him not telling her the changes in the plan. Aquaformer the heard a noise and moved closer to where Optimus was currently located. "Did you say something, Optimus?" Aquaformer queried carefully, not wanting her size and volume to cause issues for Optimus.

"I am sorry for not communicating the changes in plans. Wheeljack grabbed me and pulled me into his lab and before I had much time to react other than ask what he was doing, the machine he was trying to show me went off and caused what you now see. I had been on my way home. I know you don't like it when I don't tell you what is going on. It just now occurred to me that I have never spoken to you using your love language. And I want to apologize for that" Optimus expressed, repeating some of what he said earlier along with new things he had realized.

Aquaformer nodded before answering, "Optimus, communication is a basic part of being a pair and all couples struggle with it at times. I know I haven't always been the best communicator either, but I do try after that whole Stealth episode. And I never said anything about having a different love language because first, you never asked, and second, you never seemed to have time to listen when I wanted to tell you. I accept your gifts and give you gifts at times because I know that means a lot to you, but like you said, my l language is different. Words and time spent with me mean much more than I can say."

Optimus nodded. "Forgive me, love. I hope we can spend time together now and I hope soon I go back to being big enough to hold you. I know you don't always like to be touched, but I sense you need reassurance." Aquaformer nodded meekly, though she didn't like to be seen as being weak. "Needing reassurance doesn't mean you are weak. It means you are normal." Aquaformer smiled at that the two continued talking.

Meanwhile, back in the lab, Perceptor finally found what he was looking for – a small hidden switch which would likely reverse this if it didn't blow up the device. "I think I've found something" Perceptor said suddenly, "but I am not entirely sure."

"Use it on me and test it" Jack replied. Perceptor did as asked and soon Jack and the bot that had been near him grew back to regular size. "It worked."

"Yes, now we just have to find Optimus and return him to normal before Aquaformer tears anyone a new one" Perceptor answered. Jack swallowed hard, hoping Aquaformer wouldn't be mad. Jack made the call to Aquaformer, nervous as all get out as one never knew with femmes, especially bonded femmes.
