Ourboros Intense Entrance Exam
Izuku is taking a few deep breaths and looks toward Ghondor who is standing about twenty feet from him with that smirk of hers, looking a little too excited.
"Oui, if you're done taking a moment for yourself then come at me already!" Ghondor demanded.
"R-Right! Here I come!" Izuku said stutter and gets into his stance.
Two seconds later and Izuku charges at Ghondor throwing the first punch that she easily blocks and threw her own punch right in the stomach making him gasp in pain, but Izuku wouldn't back down as he was able to throw an uppercut hoping to get a hit in since she is so close.
Except Ghondor smirks and easily dodges that punch, came back in with a headbutt.
"Alright, looks like you're getting durable enough to withstand one of my softer punches. Not bad, most would get unconscious from that." Ghondor was impressed with Izuku's progress.
"Th-Thank you." Izuku thanked while holding his stomach feeling the pain. And that was supposed to be a soft punch?!
"While it is good to try getting the jump on the enemy when you're close and personal, it's not always the wise idea to let the opponent hit you to get a hit back at them. You'll never know when an enemy's hit would be harder that you wouldn't be able to counterattack, or even alive." Ghondor stated.
"Oh, guess I haven't thought about that." Izuku realized this.
"It's an obvious lesson, shit kid! You're supposed to be the smart one!" Ghondor yelled.
"Alright, come at me again." Ghondor gestured at Izuku to fight her again.
"Right!" Izuku nodded and ran at her again.
Meanwhile, Lanz and Riku are watching on the sideline with the latter looking over the Lucky Seven Sword with a cloth and a special cleaning liquid to help it shine and to make sure there aren't any rusts on it.
"I have to say, I think the kid is gonna do well in that exam." Lanz believed.
"Riku agrees, Izuku has come a long way throughout the past six months, and he almost died in the first month." Riku nodded.
"So, do you think… The others will approve of him?" Lanz asked.
"Ah, Riku was wondering when Lanz would ask question when feeling nervous." Riku said.
"Hey now, I'm not nervous, alright! I'm just hoping that everyone back at Ourboros will see the kind of guy Izuku is like we have, even Ghondor is starting to warm up to him." Lanz pointed out.
"Feint!" Ghondor yelled as she punched Izuku flying about fifteen feet away and face-first sliding on the sand.
"Even though it's hard to tell." Riku commented.
"But Lanz is being ridiculous with this fear that our friends and comrades at Ourboros would reject Young Izuku. He's already shown us to have such a big heart and a strong spirit of a hero." Riku believed.
"Yeah." Lanz nodded.
"They are going to be amazes of Izuku's heart and bear fruit of the training we have given him." Riku pointed out.
"Yeah, and the exam is only three more days from now. His ultimate test will start there." Lanz said, starting to feel better from this talk.
"Yes, and Riku have no doubt Izuku will pass with Lucky Seven by his side." Riku believed as he sheaths the sword into the Veiled Sword that can also act as a sword covering the sword insisde.
"You know, I don't think I'll ever forget how shocked Izuku was when we showed him how sharp this bad boy is." Lanz chuckled.
"Oh yes, Riku had wish to have taken picture of that reaction, and it was only few days after the start of training." Riku chuckled.
(Flashback)
"Wait, you mean to say that this sword is so sharp that it can cut through anything without having to be moved?!" Izuku asked shock.
"That's right, Riku promises that he is not making this up. Legend says of Lucky Seven's sharpness to be so powerful that no weapon would be able to withstand its might!" Riku said.
"I'm not exactly into swords since I'm more of a fist fighter, but damn! I would like to see that." Ghondor interested in this sword.
"Hmm, then why not see it for ourselves?" Riku suggested.
"Huh?" Izuku, Lanz, and Ghondor are puzzled on what Riku is talking about right now.
The scene changes to Ghondor holding the Lucky Seven sword on top of a rock with the blade edge facing straight up at the sky, Lanz is ready with his Shieldblade ready to be swung down, Izuku and Riku are standing close but not too close so that they wouldn't get hurt.
Riku held on ear-arm up and then throws it down, signaling for Lanz to strike at the sword.
With all his might, Lanz swing his Shieldblade down at Lucky Seven to see if he could get even a tiny dent in though able to withstand his weapon.
A cutting slash sound was sound, and everyone is shocked to see that Lanz's weapon was the one to be sliced in two instead of the other way around.
"NO WAY?!" Lanz screamed loudly in shock.
"Well, I'll be damn." Ghondor was surprised and impressed by this sword.
"Queen's Bees… Not even a tiny nick!" Izuku said, now looking like he had just seen a ghost and is completely frozen in shock.
"You just took the swords right out of my mouth." Lanz said.
But then Lanz notice something off with Izuku, almost like he isn't moving at all, and wave his hand in front of his face. Now fully known that the kid is frozen in shock.
(Flashback End)
"Oh man, it sure was a riot." Lanz laughed a little.
"And all it took was a punch from Ghondor!" Riku laughed as well.
"You know, I always wonder what kind of reaction Noah had when he found the sword. Man, wish I could've gone with him." Lanz said.
"Even so, Noah believes the enemy that we have started to notice is manifesting that started a year and a half ago and did not want to take any chance that they could've notice more than one person." Riku reminded him of the mission Noah went on and decided on going solo.
"I know, but I still wish he could have brought us along or even Mio for that matter." Lanz exclaimed a little.
"Perhaps deep down, Noah knew the mission was gonna be tough and didn't want anyone else getting hurt with him. Noah would rather take in all the pain than to see his friends getting hurt." Riku stated.
"Spark, that definitely sounds like Noah." Lanz sighed, knowing his best friend too well.
"I can tell they're still grieving about his death when we told them the news." Lanz recalled that moment, when they were crying despite some trying to hold back the tears.
"Yes, Mio took it the hardest the most. Poor girl, one can only hope that she will find the love that filled her very soul." Riku sighed.
"I plan on taking her to Noah's grave, once the exam is done." Lanz looked over to Noah's grave.
"Riku believes that Mio would also be happy that Izuku will play the flute of the Offseer with her." Riku smiled.
"Yeah, I'm sure she will." Lanz smiled as well.
Then a loud heavy metal ringtone went off almost making the two jumps in shock, Lanz looks down at the phone that belongs to Ghondor and picks it up, seeing the ID caller named "Mom Bitch" which is what Ghondor put in.
"Ghondor, your mom is calling!" Lanz called out.
"Seriously? What does that bitch want now?" Ghondor was annoyed that her mom is calling her right in the middle of training.
But during that moment of distraction, Izuku ended up throwing a punch that connected to her body though not where he wanted it to hit.
Izuku gasps in horror seeing and feeling his fist has made contact with one of Ghondor's G-cup breasts as it pushes against the round softness.
Lanz and Riku are also horrified to see what their little trainee has just done with his own hand; they both know that anyone that tries to have their ways onto Ghondor for her body and such would face her wrath suffer a worse fate than death.
Ghondor felt her breast being touched and slowly turns her head to look down seeing Izuku's fist pressed onto her bosom, something that NO ONE is ever allowed to do.
"Oh, think you're some kind of big man, do you?" Ghondor asked calmly, but you can clearly feel the rage emitting off from her.
"No, Ghondor! I swear, it's not what it looks like! I was just doing combat training like you told me to!" Izuku tried to calm down the situation.
"Well then, allow me to give you a little reward for landing a hit on me!" Ghondor formed her Blade weapon, Turbo Cestus.
"Uh-oh, that is not good for Izuku at all!" Riku feared.
"Run, Izuku! Get out of there!" Lanz shouted.
"I think it's time for a reminder of why I am called Wrath Fist Ghondor!" Ghondor smirked.
Izuku couldn't move away even if he wanted to because of the fear rising from within his body that his legs are paralyze.
"(Well, better take the punishment I deserve than try to run away like a coward.)" Izuku thought decided to take this like a man.
Next thing he knew, he was punched very hard in the face and was sent flying fast passing Lanz and Riku as he keeps going for several more seconds and such until he crashes into the ground and bumps into a tree.
"Wow… She sure can pack a punch…" Izuku said, dizzy and hurt at the same time.
Izuku groans as he gets himself to sit up from the crash as he rubs his hand on the freshly new bruise on his face, but then he felt something under his other hand on the ground.
He looks down to see something glowing a little green and picks it up to see some kind of emerald crystal in the shape of a cross.
"Odd, why would there be something like this here of all places?" Izuku wondered.
"Izuku! You better get your asses back here or else I'll drag you back!" Ghondor shouted so loud tat he could hear that from here.
"Coming!" Izuku shot himself up on his feet and headed back to the beach.
Izuku looks down at the crystal as this still piques his curiosity, so he decided to keep it in his pocket and look into it later.
"I'm here!" Izuku reported.
"Good, you better not have been thinking perverted thoughts about me." Ghondor glared fiercely.
"No! Never!" Izuku promised.
"You better…" Ghondor pouted.
"Anyway, looks like we're gonna have to go off and leave the rest of the training on you." Lanz said.
"Huh, we're ending the training here?" Izuku asked surprise.
"Ghondor's mother called, saying she needs help setting up for this year's Ourboros's Entrance Exam." Riku informed.
"Yeah, the guys who were supposed to help couldn't make it and she needs the extra muscles to help get the finishing touches complete. Seriously, can't she handle these sorts of things herself?" Ghondor wondered in annoyance.
"No use in complaining about." Lanz said.
"So, we're off. Izuku, that means you're free to do what you want. You can even rest up for a day or two if you want since there's only three days left for the exam." Lanz said to Izuku.
"But even so, always be prepared for what the exam will throw at you if one wishes to come out in one piece!" Riku advised.
"Alright, then I'll meet you at the exam." Izuku understood.
"You better not chicken out at the last second or else I'm going to give you a beating you'll never forget!" Ghondor threatened before quickly walking away.
"See ya, kid." Lanz waved goodbye as he wand Riku walks away as well.
Now, Izuku finds himself all alone on the beach with the sword.
"Alright, better make use of my remaining three days carefully." Izuku said to himself.
He held the sword with the Veild Sword in a fighting stance and start practicing some swings seeing himself have gotten so well with the weight and movements thanks to Riku's guidance. Lanz and Ghondor were also the ones who helped him with physical strength and combat practice too.
"(I'll make it, I'll pass the exam and become an Ourboros warrior!)" Izuku thought determined with the fire in his eyes.
(Three Days Later)
"Okay, here I am." Izuku said to himself.
Izuku is standing in front of the large dome shape building that could be the size of a small city, the Ourboros base which is one of the largest structures in the entire world and home where the Ourboros warriors are home.
"Hey!" A man called out to Izuku.
"If you're here for the Ourboros Entrance Exam, then you better head inside and follow the signs telling you where the exam is." The man informed.
"Thank you!" Izuku thanked and headed inside.
Izuku went through the door with his eyes widen in amazement to see the inside of Ourboros that is like an indoor city itself, there are small stands with some festival decorations as the people who live here are excited about the entrance exam.
"Okay, gotta follow the signs." Izuku said.
He went through the streets while following the signs and looking around the city itself and taking some pictures for some new memories, though he did almost get lost once and a little girl helped him get back on the right path.
Finally, he arrives at the gathering place where the other examinees are.
"Wow, so many people here." Izuku said.
"Fuck, so you really did come here, Deku." Katsuki said, making Izuku jump in surprise.
"Kacchan! A-Are you excited for the exam?" Izuku asked nervously.
"Excited that I'm going to blow away these extras out of my path, but now I find you actually here thinking you have what it takes." Katsuki glared fiercely like his eyes are glowing red.
Normally, Izuku would be scared of Kacchan when it comes to being this scary like he's a monster born in human form, but this time is different. He is not that same scared little boy anymore, he is going through with his exam no matter what because of all the training he did with Lanz, Ghondor, and Riku.
"Kacchan, someone once told me that I could do something amazing like a hero. And I'm here to prove him right." Izuku said, gripping on his sword.
"Like it or not, you can't stop me!" Izuku determined.
This surprises Katsuki as he was not expecting this kind of bullshit bravery from the nerd, he even took a step back which is something he never does.
"Whatever, not like you can do anything even when you've gotten yourself a weapon. It won't change anything." Katsuki proclaimed.
"Attention everyone, it's time we get started!" A woman shouted.
Everyone turns their attention and sight to one woman standing on top of a rail path right above a large door.
"My name is Monica Vandham, and I'll be telling you what you'll be doing in this exam." Monica introduced herself.
Monica is a tanned woman with brown hair with parted bangs and brown eyes. She wears a sleeveless collared dark blue shirt with grayish-white accents, dark jeans adorned with brown plates and boots of the same color. Breasts size: L-cup.
"Monica Vandham! She's the daughter of Guernica Vandham, she's known as the City's Bulwark!" Izuku amazed.
"This exam is showing to me and other Ourboros members what you lots are made of, to see if you truly have what it takes to join us and earn up the ranks to be one of the greatest. What you'll be doing is search and survival!" Monica announced.
"The goal is to collect six special items that are hidden within that forest outside and only within the limits of the area, they will be shown on your phones so you'll know what to look for. Collect all six of these items within the time of 3 hours and thirty-three minutes, if you don't have all six then it doesn't count and you're out. I should also mention that you will also be fighting monsters along the way, you can choose either to fight them or avoid them, just as long as you remember the goal in the exam. Another thing you should know is that attacking each other is forbidden, do that and you'll be kicked out faster than you'll know." Monica explained the rules of the exam.
"And be sure not to get hurt too badly, we wouldn't want any of you dying out there by any of the strong monsters." Monica warned, and the large door started to open.
"Being an Ourboros is about all of us working together with the common goal of protecting our world and helping out as much as we can, we work as one. Never shave away your heart because that is what gives you strength." Moncia gave a speech for everyone, Izuku felt really mood from her words.
"The exam starts… NOW!" Monica shouted.
