After the assistant of the Gnaw and Gnips our Heroes delve deeper and deeper into the Castle for the search of Toadsworth but they have yet to find him.
Where he could be? Nobody truly knows...
"Ahem..! We should...Try this way." Said Nassie trying to sense the location of the Pure Heart.
Dread fell upon our Heroes as they went forward as the shadows creeped along the dark corridors of the Castle.
Chapter 2-3:
Shadows In Corridors
They creeped down the dark corridors with it getting darker as they continued on their way.
"Why is it so dark?" Mimi asked squinting to see in the darkness ahead.
"Maybe Toadsworth is fond of the dark." Dimentio suggested.
"Well he should at least invest in a candle at least! How can he get around like this?" Mimi questioned.
"Don't worry we got this!" Thoreau said as he let off a little glow. It wasn't that bright just a small light surrounding his body.
And the other Pixls did the same. "It isn't much but at least there is light even if it's small." Nassie says.
"I guess it'll do. Still in darkness but...Not total darkness." Mimi said but got a bit curious. "But how are you glowing? Thought you get had one power or something."
"SSS-POM! We are fairies! Of course we glow a little." Boomer answered.
"Yeah! And the dark won't be scary with some music!. I could play a friendly tune to help with it not being as gloomy or creepy." Piccolo said as she played a tune sound like a violin.
"Ha! You rock Piccolo!" Thoreau cheered listening to Piccolo's music.
"BOOM! Yeah!" Boomer said floating around Piccolo.
"But...How are we going to find the Pure Heart like this? It's quite dark and even if I can sense it...It doesn't do us much good if it's this dark." Nassie looking around the darkness.
Dimentio raised up his hand to feel against the wall as he walked hoping to feel something like a door. But as they continued the wall felt a little different which caused Dimentio to stop in his tracks and called Nassie over.
"Hmm? What is it?" She asked. "You couldn't mind a little light over here would you?" He asked.
Nassie nodded as she floated a little closer to the so called wall to see a door. "Why it's a door. Finally so good from this." Dimentio cheered as he opened the door.
As he opened it he lead everyone inside first before going in after them.

Just like the corridors this room was covered in darkness. Our Heroes carefully walk into the room hoping to not bump or trip over anything that could be in this room.
As Dimentio walked he felt his foot touch something on the ground. Curious about what it was Dimentio placed his hand on the ground to search for what it was.
He was able to grab what it was and called Nassie over to help see what it was. With Nassie's little glow they saw it was a flashlight.
"Why now this is a stroke of luck." Dimentio smiled as he flipped the switch on the flashlight bringing light to the room suprising the others.
"Whoa! SSS-BAM! Did not expect that!" Boomer yelled in suprise floating over to Dimentio to check out the flashlight he found.
Dimentio pointed the flashlight around the room to figure out what the room was. It was a small bedroom with a blue circle carpet with a star in the middle and a messy bed with purple covers. It's pillows were left on the floor laying next to the bed. There were some books laying next to each other on the floor as one of them laid open.
"What a messy room." Thoreau said looking around the room.
"He really left this room a mess." Mimi said looking at the mess.
"Yeah but not really anything important in this room. Let's just leave." Dimentio said as he turned around towards the door.
"HEY! Dimentio wait for us! You're the one with the flashlight!" Mimi yelled as she followed after Dimentio through the door while holding the door open for the other Pixls to follow.

"This will be more easier now." Thoreau said. As Dimentio lead the group with the flashlight.
"But seriously why is the corridors so dark?" Mimi asked looking around the corridors.
"Hmm now that I think about it...Could it be those shadowy hand things we saw." Nassie suggested.
"It could be." Dimentio said.
"But if it is...How could they cause so much darkness?" Piccolo asked.
Dimentio shrugged as he looked at the darkness on the walls and ceilings that the light didn't shine on.
"Hmm." Dimentio decided to shine the flashlight onto the walls. Once the light hits the walls the Heroes are greeted but creeping hands from before covering the walls all over.
"Oh." Is all Dimentio said as he stared at the hands creeping.
I was touching the wall earlier...Why didn't I feel anything? Did they purposely avoid me? Dimentio was lost in his thoughts before he's pull forward with a yank.
There was a slam on the ground and Dimentio looked back with little light there is to his the creeping hands have slammed right down onto where he stood.
He didn't have much time to dwell on it as he saw Mimi had tugged him forward by his hand and forced him to run.
The hands that hid on the walls and ceiling sprung from them trying to grab the group. Dimentio pointed the flashlight forward to get a better look at what was ahead.
He squinted a bit to see what it looks to be a blur of a door ahead.
Dimentio smiled to himself.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" Piccolo screamed as she tried to avoid the shadowy hands.
The shadowy hands slammed down infront of them blocking the way.
"SSS-BAM! MOVE IT!" Boomer yelled.
"Aw no need to worry." Dimentio cheered as he snapped his fingers as they teleported past them but the teleportation was off as they landed face first into the floor they quickly got back up to see they're right next to the door. "Huh...That's a first." Dimentio said as he gives his hand a look to see some shadowy mist on his hand.
"Come on!" Mimi said as she dragged him through the door with the others following.

"Why do we have to do so much running here?" Mimi said closing the door behind them hoping to stop those creeping hands from following them.
"Possibly touching that wall was a bad idea." Dimentio said as he showed his hand with some shadowy mist floating around it.
"Is that why your teleport messed up?" Nassie asked.
"Possibly."
"So you're saying it's messing up your magic right?" Thoreau questioned.
"Pretty much."
"Oh you got problems with those shadowy hand things huh?" A new voice said.
"Ye-Wait...Who said that?" The Heroes were confused by the extra voice and looked around to see where it came from. Luckly this room had some light in it as the saw the source of the voice a big chest laid there in the empty room with the only other thing in it other then the chest was a red carpet.
"Hellllooo~" The voice cheered from the chest. "I hear voices! You sound quite friendly! If you are give me a hand. If not give me a hand anyway!" The voice chimed from inside the chest.
"'Hand' hehe." Thoreau chuckled.
Dimentio walked forward and opened up the chest and something floated right out of it happily cheering.
It was a Pixl that seemed to resemble an unfolded box with the bottom part of her slightly crooked and her body had a blue color but where her eyes were was a green color instead. She fluttered her angel like wings as she floated down to the group. "Woo! Freedom again!" She cheered.
"Carrie!" The Pixls except Nassie said as they all surround her in a form of a hug the best pixls could do without hands.
"Huh? Carrie what's this?" Piccolo asked seeing a similiar shadowy mist that was on Dimentio also on Carrie.
"Oh! I got it when those shadowy hand things locked me in the chest." Carrie answered with strange cheerful tone.
"But...We were all locked in chest by those...Ancients...1,500 years ago." Thoreau said in annoyance.
"Hehe! The kind Toad of this Castle found me and let me out. I told him I was to await the Legendary Hero and he let me stay here until long as I didn't bother him which I stayed true to!" Carrie answered.
"But then these weirdo creepy hands showed up they were after the Pure Heart and throwed me right back into that chest while Toadsworth ran away to keep it safe! So rude!" Carrie said annoyed.
"Wait! They're after the Pure Heart!?" Nassie yelled.
"That doesn't sound good...Could it be someone working with Countess Shay who is ordering them?" Piccolo said.
"Heh! Doesn't really matter! Plus we got each other and! FREEDOOOMMM!" Carrie screamed as she floats around again.
"'K but...Hey Piccolo think you can deal with the shadowy mist problem? We do need to get to Toadsworth before them." Nassie asked.
"Oh! Right! Maybe these hands can give off the same kind of curse like Cursyas." Piccolo floated over to Dimentio and floated around him as she played a soft and calming tune.
And shaodwy mist slowly faded away from Dimentio's hand. "Well aren't we lucky!" Piccolo chimed as she headed over to Carrie to do the same.
Piccolo played the same tune near Carrie and the shadowy mist faded from her body as well. "Aww! Thanks Piccolo! You have the best tunes!"
"Yeah they are!" Piccolo cheered.
"But Carrie do you know where Toadsworth went before you got tossed in a chest?" Mimi asked.
"Oh yes I do! Follow me!" Carrie cheered as she lead the group towards a door.
They open the door and let Carrie through first before going in themselves.

While Carrie lead them through the Castle she started talking about herself and her abilities. Like how she can well...Carry things and others. And that's how she decided to help Toadsworth when he is...Too busy to do anything.
"Now he should be down in th-Oh..." Carrie was saying but she stopped as she looked ahead.
Along the floor and ceiling in front of them were those creeping hands. They went a long way across the floor as well as the ceiling and it was hard to see the end of it.
"Ha! Looks like you'll need my help!" Carrie cheered as she transformed her body into a platform. "Hop on! I'll carry us."
Dimentio and Mimi stepped onto Carrie while the Pixls rested on them not wanting to be in reach of the shadowy hands.
Carrie carried them just in the middle to keep out of reach of the hands on ground and ceiling. "Hey Dimentio why didn't you teleport us?" Nassie asked.
"Couldn't see the end. Do you want me to mess up a teleport dear Nassie?" Dimentio chuckled.
"What? No!" Nassie yelled while Dimentio laughed at her reaction.
"Why you're a fun group!" Carrie cheered.
"SSS-POM! That's right! They're Heroes!" Boomer yelled.
"Yeah! Now with you here Carrie we'll find Toadsworth in no time." Thoreau said.
Finally reaching the end of the creeping hands the group sighs with relief as they reach an old looking door.
"What's this door for?" Thoreau asked.
"Why it leads to the dungeon of course!" Carrie answered with a cheerful tone.
"Wait...Dungeon?" Nassie asked confused.
"Well it is where Toadsworth went. A dungeon is a great place to hide." Carrie answered.
"Well what are waiting for let's go!" Mimi said as she pushed opened the door leading to a stairwell. And the group of Heroes tread forward down the stariwell.
